John: Doc! Doc! No...
John: I was wondering when I'd see you again.
Brady: Ha ha ha.
John: Welcome home, son.
Brady: How you doing, huh?
John: Getting better every minute.
[Chuckles] Listen, kid... thanks for staying in the Caribbean and keeping up the search for Roman and Marlena.
Brady: I just wish we could've found 'em all. Dad, I'm so sorry for your loss.
John: Yeah. I know. So the Coast Guard's sure, huh? I mean, there's no chance that, uh...
Brady: Hope didn't tell you? They found D.N.A. evidence of all the missing.
John: Yeah, I know that. It's just... I never put anything past the DiMeras, you know.
Brady: Stefano's dead. Tony's dead.
John: I loved Marlena, Brady... and your mother. I can't believe they're both gone.
Brady: I know this is not the same kind of experience, but when I lost Chloe, I was ready to give up on love. But then Nicole came into my life, and... I changed my mind.
John: That's supposed to make me feel better, huh? You know how I feel about Nicole.
Jan: Oh, nurse.
Nicole: What's Jan doing here?
Jan: I'm worried about my fiancé.
Woman: What's his name?
Jan: Shawn Brady. Was he admitted to the hospital last night?
Woman: Uh, no, he wasn’t.
Jan: Really. What? Thanks.
Nicole: Hello, my ex-partner in crime. I have some bad news for you.
Sami: I am not getting married with you and Philip.
Lucas: Sami, come on.
Sami: Because I don't want your father at my wedding.
Sami: John Black is the reason that my parents are dead, and I would rather have a gorilla walk me down the aisle. I hope that he never walks again. In fact, I hope he suffers in pain for the rest of his life!
Philip: Belle --
Lucas: How can you do that? Huh? How you can you do that to your own sister?
Kate: Well, that is classic Sami. Just a little preview of what you're going to have for the rest of your life if you marry her.
Philip: Look, I'm sorry. I am so sorry about Sami --
Mimi: What's wrong?
Philip: If I had any idea that she was gonna act that way --
Belle: Philip, it's the only day that we can get married before you ship out. What else are we supposed to do? Philip, I need to talk to Mimi. Could you do me a favor?
Philip: Yeah, what?
Belle: Tell Sami to leave. She is not welcome in my house until she takes back everything she said about my father.
Philip: I'll tell her right now.
Mimi: Come on, let's go in Shawn’s loft for some privacy. No one's there.
Belle: What, Shawn’s not back yet?
Belle: You know, I'm really worried about him. He's been drinking a lot lately. What if he got in another accident?
Mimi: Admit it, Belle. You still love him.
Hope: Oh, Jennifer, thank God. I'm sorry I called you so early, but uncle -- uncle Mickey wasn't picking up at home, and his answering service was off, and I just couldn't get a hold of anyone.
Jennifer: No, no, you did the right thing. I went over there, I got him out of bed. He's working on getting Shawn released right now.
Hope: Thank you.
Jennifer: Good morning!
Shawn-D: [Groans] Oh, God, can you please keep it down? I'm working with a splitting headache here. Thank you.
Jennifer: What -- what did Bo say when he found out about this?
Hope: He doesn't know yet. I, uh, we tried calling him, but he -- he's busy.
Shawn-D: [Scoffs] Yeah, busy looking for his bastard daughter with his ex-lover... Billie Reed.
Billie: You know, I never actually saw them put Georgia in a coffin.
Bo: Well, they obviously took her from you as soon as you gave birth. If you hadn't downloaded those hidden files from DiMera’s mainframe when we left the island, we would never have known she was alive. Come on, come on -- I'm here, I'm here!
Billie: Look, maybe what's taking so long is those aren't latitude and longitude -
Bo: No. I broke the code. It's a DiMera safe house in a remote area near the Canadian border. Yeah, yeah, I'm here. What do you have? All right, thanks. Nothing. The building burned down... 12 years ago.
Billie: Are you saying Georgia’s dead?
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.
Man: Shawn Brady, let's go. Bail hearing. Your lawyer's upstairs with the judge.
Shawn-D: Ooh, finally.
Hope: Honey, I'll go with you, okay?
Shawn-D: No, no, you're not. I'm an adult. I can handle this on my own.
Man: Come on, let's go.
Shawn-D: I don't want your help.
Man: Come on.
Shawn-D: All right, easy.
Billie: Okay, the records show that the fire at the safe house was thought to be arson. Several people died, but no one under the age of 18.
Bo: So that means there's no way Georgia could have been there. You know, I got this feeling that our daughter's alive. She could be almost anywhere, but... maybe she was adopted.
Billie: Yeah, but if she was adopted, that means someone else is raising our child -- someone chosen by Stefano. Bo, we've got to find her.
Bo: Yeah, yeah, and we will.
Jan: Did something bad happen to Shawn?
Nicole: I don't know where your boy toy is.
Jan: Well, then, what's the bad news? I don't have all day.
Nicole: Well, the bad news for you is wonderful news for me. You can't blackmail me anymore. I'm innocent.
Jan: What do you mean, you're innocent? You're guilty as hell. You killed Colin Murphy.
Nicole: No, I didn't, and my husband Victor died tragically at sea. I mean, John saw him -- Bo, Hope, Brady, and Tek, too -- so all the files that Victor had on me that you've got tucked away somewhere, you can throw them out. They're worthless.
Jan: Well, if you think you're off the hook, you're crazy. Victor may not have died when I tried to electrocute him, but if Brady finds out that you got me to attempt murder, your happy ending is toast. Ha ha. So if you want to keep buff Brady in your bed, don't cross me. Now, I have to go find Shawn.
Nicole: Okay, bitch, I'll put you in your place.
Brady: Dad, I really wish you'd give Nicole a break. What's wrong? What's wrong? You okay?
John: Yeah. I got to be, right? I mean, after all, I've got to walk your sister down the aisle. You know she's engaged, don't you?
Brady: What -- she got back together with Shawn?
John: No, Brady. She's going to marry Philip Kiriakis.
Mimi: Why are you marrying Philip when you're still in love with Shawn?
Belle: Because Shawn is sleeping with Jan. He wants nothing to do with me. I have to move on with my life.
Mimi: You're rushing into this wedding.
Belle: Look, Philip is being shipped overseas. He's going to be in combat soon.
Mimi: It's not your patriotic duty to marry the guy. Belle, wake up. You haven't even dated Philip that long. Marriage is a big step, and you're not ready.
Belle: Maybe I should postpone the wedding.
Mimi: Duh. Yeah.
Sami: I cannot believe --
Lucas: Chill out. Chill out. Let me handle my mom.
Philip: Sami, get the hell out of our apartment right now. Belle does not want you here until you can apologize for what you said about John.
Sami: In her dreams. I'm going to the hospital, and I'm going to get our blood test results so that we can get our marriage license so we can get married on the day that we planned, and I'm not going to let Belle or Philip or Kate stop us.
Jennifer: I'm sorry that uncle Mickey couldn't get the charges dropped, but Shawn is out on bail, right? And that's good.
Hope: Shawn needs to be held accountable for his actions. Oh, God, what has happened to my boy? What... has happened to my son? I just wish I could figure it out. [Sighs] I talked to Lexie about his head injuries, and she seems to think that he's made a full recovery... sees absolutely no real medical reason for these changes in him.
Jennifer: Well, I agree. I think it has everything to do with Jan, don't you?
Hope: Well, I'm -- that girl, I am very suspicious of. You know, come to think of it, Jan reminds me an awful lot of Billie years ago when she was scheming all the time to get Bo. But our love proved strong enough to survive it, and you know what? I am completely confident that we're going to get through this whole ordeal with Georgia.
Jennifer: I agree, but I thought we were talking about Jan and Shawn.
Hope: We were. God, you know what? When we left that island, all I wanted to do was just get home, sleep for a week, and live happily ever after. That was it. But instead, what do I get? Two major issues to deal with. Shawn and Jan and...
Jennifer: And a possible brand-new stepdaughter. How are you going to handle all of that, Hope?
Hope: Well... once we find Georgia and we have a chance to bond with her as parents, uh, well, Billie’s going to have a whole new focus for her life, and she's not going to be obsessed anymore, not the way she has been in the past. I mean, she's going to have a daughter to dote on, to raise, to love. It's going to be fine.
Jennifer: Good. Well, you and Bo have a lot to talk about when he gets home.
Hope: Yeah, we do. And when he does get home, he's going to have to listen to me this time, and we're going to talk about family -- Shawn and Georgia -- and we're going to work things out just the way we always have.
Jennifer: Hope, listen to me -- since I lost Jack, I-I did not realize how difficult it would be to raise a teenage daughter as a single mom. Okay, now you have to be realistic. Billie is going to want Bo to be a part of his daughter's life. She will probably stay in Salem just so that she can be close to him.
Bo: Got a list of the children under the age of 5 who were vaccinated in that town near the Canadian border.
Billie: There are hundreds of names there.
Bo: No, more like thousands. This is going to take us forever going through this, comparing the health records to the birth certificates.
Billie: And aren't adoption papers sealed in family courts?
Bo: Yeah. You know what? I'll call Judge Fitzpatrick. When she hears that we were the victims of a DiMera plot, I bet you she'll do anything to bend these rules to help us find our baby.
Billie: Hey, it's worth a shot. The only thing she could do is say no, right?
Billie: Thanks, Bo.
Hope: I know you're right. Once Bo and Billie find Georgia, Bo’s never going to want to be separated from his daughter again, and that's completely understandable. That's the kind of father Bo is. But I also know him well enough that he would never leave his two sons. He loves Shawn and Zack. He loves me. He's committed to our family, and he'll be committed to Georgia as well, but not to Billie, not in the same way.
Jennifer: Well, no, of course not, Hope.
Hope: I'm going to call Bo again, see what time he's coming home.
Bo: There's the judge. Commander Brady.
Hope: Bo, it's me.
Bo: Um, hey, fancy face. Listen, uh... I'm sorry, I got to keep this line open. I'm expecting a call from Judge Fitzpatrick. Shawn's all right, right?
Hope: He is, but I really think that you need --
Bo: Good. I love you.
Hope: Bo, wait --
Bo: Bye-bye. That was Hope.
Billie: How's she dealing with all this?
Bo: Great. She understands I have a daughter out there, and I have to find her.
Billie: Thanks, Bo. I don't know how I can get through this without you.
Bo: You can count on me.
Jan: Shawn. My God, are you all right? Where have you been? I was so worried about you.
Shawn-D: It's a long story.
Jan: I'm just so relieved to see you. I can tell you're hung over. I know exactly how to make you feel better.
Mimi: Belle... you and Shawn belong together, and I know, deep down, you two still really love each other. And if you really are having second thoughts about marrying Philip, then you know you can't go through with it. If you say "I do" to Philip but you really still love Shawn, you will regret it for the rest of your life.
Shawn-D: Oh, what the hell are you doing here?
Woman: Can I help you?
Sami: Yeah, um, actually, I'm here for the blood test results my fiancé and I took for our marriage license.
Sami: Thank you. I'm going to be Mrs. Lucas Roberts.
Woman: I believe it. Um, let me get the paperwork.
Sami: Yeah. Okay.
Woman: Follow me.
Brady: Dad, I can see you need some rest, so, um, I'm going to take off. I'll be back later.
John: Glad you made it back all right, kid. Thanks for being here with me. It really helped.
Brady: Anytime. Get better soon.
Nicole: How's your father?
Brady: He's not doing too well. He's still holding out hope that Marlena and the others could still be alive, even though there is no hope. When that wave came crashing down, I'm surprised anyone made it out alive. One minute, Marlena and Roman were there. The next, they were gone.
Nicole: I know. I saw all the evidence -- the way their clothes were torn, all that blood. It had to be a shark attack.
Brady: Well, I hope they drowned before that happened. That's the most horrible thing I could possibly imagine. I've been having nightmares of them all being shredded into a bloody pulp.
Sami: No! No!
Sami: How dare you talk about my parents like that? They suffered such a-a horrible, painful death, you --
Brady: Sami, please, just calm down.
Sami: How can I calm down while my mother, my father, my grandmother are all gone, and you and John just saved yourselves?
Brady: Sami, everybody on that island looked out for everybody else.
Sami: Oh, yeah, and the only person you managed to save was your whore of a step-grandmother here. You saved her instead of my mother?
Brady: Sami, when the wave came crashing down, we all grabbed the person nearest to us. We did everything we could. Come on, my dad would have given his life to save Marlena.
Sami: Yeah, well, he didn't, did he? You and John might as well have killed my parents yourselves.
Brady: You know what? You weren't there. You don't have a clue in hell.
Sami: Oh, it is obvious to anyone what was happening on that island, and I wish you and John and Belle would all just burn in hell, and that goes for you, too,
Mimi: It's my apartment, too, Shawn, and Belle's my best friend. I asked her to come in. You weren't even home. Okay?
Belle: Are you okay?
Shawn-D: I'm fine. You can leave now.
Mimi: We were talking.
Belle: It's okay, Meems. I don't belong here. I really hope you're okay.
Jan: Good. That's one down.
Jan: Shawn, I really want to be alone with you. I was thinking that maybe later, we could go and apply for a marriage license. Everyone else is doing it. Well, almost everyone. Look, we can't let Belle and Philip beat us to the altar, now, can we?
Shawn-D: All right, all right, you can't honestly expect me to talk about this right now, can you? I mean, I have a screaming hangover. I need a rest. Oh, actually... oh.
Jan: I know what you were up to, measles. You were trying to convince Belle to dump Philip and go back to Shawn. How many times do I have to warn you?
Mimi: We were talking about Philip being shipped overseas.
Jan: Ah, and what were you telling her to do, exactly, hold off on getting married? I am warning you, Mimi, if Belle and Shawn get back together, I'm going to tell Rex about your abortion. Then you're going to lose the man that you love, end up completely alone and miserable. Face it -- I hold all the cards. I'm going to marry Shawn, and there's not a damn thing you can do to stop me. Okay, now I'm going to go get some vodka. Shawn could use a little hair of the dog, and a stiff drink might put him in the mood for some good, hot sex.
Jan: You'll be gone by the time I get back, right? Right.
Mimi: Ugh! I cannot let that bitch get away with it. Just might work. Mom, thanks for all those forgery lessons. Okay, Shawn, have you written anything lately? Homework? Mm, good. Okay. Here we go. "Dear Jan"...
Jennifer: Hope... I can see that this is starting to eat away at you. Now, Bo and Billie are going to be spending a lot of time searching for their daughter. Are you really going to be okay with that?
Hope: I have to trust that Bo will do the right thing.
Jennifer: But you need him, too.
Hope: I know that.
Jennifer: Okay, it's -- it's a tragedy that someone took Bo and Billie’s daughter away from them, and, yes, I understand they have to do everything they can to get Georgia back, but that doesn't mean that Bo can just desert his wife and family. You needed him today. Shawn needed him. Your son was arrested for drunk driving, Hope. That means he has a serious problem right now. He needs both his parents to straighten him out.
Hope: I know, I know, I know. I can -- Jen, I can handle it.
Jennifer: All right, I'm sorry. I-I'm just upset that this is happening to you. You know, I miss my husband so much, and your husband is alive, and you need him. You need your husband here for you and your sons.
Hope: I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Bo: Yes, ma'am. Thank you very much. Judge Fitzpatrick agreed to help us.
Billie: Thank God.
Bo: Yeah. We can start the computer search of the official records as soon as she's out of court.
Billie: Oh, great.
Bo: I am going home to see what's up with my son and check in with my wife.
Billie: Yeah, you know, I think that hope has been amazingly understanding.
Bo: Yeah. She's the best. And I shouldn't have left her alone to deal with whatever's going on with Shawn. I love her so much. Well, I'm outta here.
Billie: Oh, boy. Waiting... not knowing... and even if we do find Georgia, do I have what it takes to be a mother? I know who to call. Oh.
Jan: Okay, Shawn. Back with some horny juice. It's from Shawn. "Jan, before we can get a marriage license, we have to get blood tests. Meet me at the hospital. Love, Shawn." Perfect. We're going to get married before Belle and Philip.
Mimi: Ha ha ha ha ha! Don't count your chickens before they're hatched, Jan. Hmm, good job, Meems. Mom would be so proud. Now... let's get Belle ready for a visit from Shawn.
Lucas: I'm sorry. I gotta go. Um, listen, I promise, I'm not going to let Sami interfere with your wedding plans, okay?
Kate: I just hope you don't end up having to apologize to me for marrying Sami.
Philip: Hey, don't worry about it, all right? We're cool. Belle and I are getting married. It's going to be the happiest day of our lives, and nobody's going to do anything to stop that.
Lucas: Sounds good. I'm proud of you, man.
Philip: Thanks, buddy.
Lucas: See you guys later.
Kate: See you later.
Philip: I got it. Hello?
Mimi: Uh, yes, I'm looking for a few weak men -- or just one strong, hunky marine -- to help me move a heavy bookcase, and since Rex is working, you're the first man I thought of.
Philip: Well, you made the right choice. I'll be right over. Hold on. Um, Mimi needs me to help her move something. Um, maybe you two can, uh, start planning the wedding?
Kate: That's a great idea.
Philip: All right. I'll be right back.
Kate: Okay. Belle... what's wrong?
Belle: I just always thought I'd be planning my wedding with my mom. And now she's gone, and... I could really use her advice.
Kate: Aw, sweetie. I'm sorry. If there's anything I can do, I would love to help.
Belle: No, I couldn’t. You're Philip’s mom.
Kate: So? What difference does that make? Belle? Come on, talk to me.
Belle: I'm just afraid that I'm rushing into this marriage. Did I move too fast after breaking up with Shawn?
Kate: Oh. Well, um... now, Shawn hasn't shown any interest in getting back together, has he?
Belle: No, he doesn't want anything to do with me.
Kate: Oh, honey, I really hate to see you hurting like this. But I have to tell you, I know that Philip -- I know that Philip truly, truly loves you.
Belle: I know that, too.
Kate: And when a woman knows that a man loves her that deeply, that's very special. I never regretted marrying Roman, even though we never made it to our honeymoon, because I know that I was truly loved, and in the end, that's the most important thing.
Belle: Thank you, Kate. I think that's exactly what my mom would have said to me. I guess I just have to follow my heart.
[Knock on door]
Shawn-D: Mimi woke me up, said that you wanted to talk to me. What's up?
Belle: Yeah, um, come in.
Belle: Ahem, listen, before I marry Philip, and before you marry Jan, I-I was just hoping that we could talk. Um, and for once, I want us to be totally honest with each other.
Jan: Have you seen Shawn?
Nicole: Well, you just can't seem to keep track of him, can you?
Jan: He's meeting me here. We're getting our marriage license.
Nicole: Oh, I didn't know that they did that kind of thing here.
Jan: We're having blood tests.
Nicole: Right. What if Shawn finds out you had him locked up in a homemade hamster cage all last summer? I mean, the only reason you two are engaged is because he lost his memory. He has no idea of all the horrible things that you've done to him. Never mind that you tried to kill his Grandpa Victor.
Jan: You say one word to Shawn, and you'll lose Brady forever.
Brady: Whoa, Dad! Dad, stop. Look, it's me. It's me. It's Brady. It's Brady. Look, it's me. It's me. Relax. Let me go.
John: I'm sorry, kid.
Brady: It's okay.
John: I'm sorry, kid. I'm sorry, kid. You just -- you looked like --
Brady: Looked like what?
John: I don't know, it's just -- it must be this medication. I'm -- I'm hallucinating. It's okay.
Brady: No, it's not. I'm a little worried about you. I'm gonna go get a doctor, and have him come check you out.
John: I don't need a doctor. I don't need a doctor. I just -- I need to talk to you. I've been thinking, kid. You're making a huge mistake.
Hope: Hey, welcome home.
Bo: Thanks, it's good to be home. Hey, Jen.
Bo: Is everything okay? Sorry it took me so long --
Hope: We need to talk.
Bo: All right.
Jennifer: I'm -- I'm gonna go get the baby. Julie and Gram are watching him.
Hope: Jennifer, thank you so much for all of your help.
Jennifer: I love you.
Hope: I love you. Thank you.
Bo: Bye. Hey, what did you need help with? I mean, is everything okay with Shawn?
Hope: Our son was picked up on a dui, and he resisted arrest. He spent last night in county jail, Bo.
Bo: Why didn't you tell me this?
Hope: Why didn't I tell you? Every time I called, you never gave me a chance to speak. You were too damn busy with Billie!
Billie: Hi, Mom.
Kate: Hi. My assistant gave me your message. I am so happy you decided to stay. You decided to stay in Salem and fight for Bo.
Billie: I knew you were gonna assume that. Sit down, Mom. I have some very shocking news.
Lucas: What are you doing? This place is a mess.
Sami: I wanna elope.
Lucas: Stop it. Stop it. Wait a minute. Wait! Why? Why do you want to elope? 'Cause you had a fight with Belle, and you guys share the same wedding date now? What? What aren't you telling me?
Shawn-D: You talk as if we've never been honest with each other before.
Belle: That's not what I meant. I meant since, you know, last summer. Listen, okay, my -- my mother always told me to follow my heart. And that's exactly what I have to do. And I know Philip loves me. But the truth is I still have strong feelings for you. So... if you still feel the same way about me, then I can't go through with this wedding, and I can't marry Philip.
Mimi: No, Philip, wait.
Philip: Meems, I've moved that bookcase about five times until it's right back where it started. Belle's had a rough day, I wanna make sure she's all right.
Mimi: No, no, no. You can’t.
Jan: It's very simple, Nicole. If we wanna keep our men, then we both have to keep our mouths tightly shut.
John: I still don't trust Nicole, Brady.
Brady: Oh, Dad, I told you, you don't have to worry about Nicole. Her name was cleared, right? She's not a killer. And I believed her, I had faith in her the entire time, and I was right.
John: I want you to be careful. You be careful around her. She's not a woman to be trusted.
Kate: She's alive? Your baby Georgia is alive?
Billie: Except, um, well, she's not a baby anymore. And the DiMeras have her hidden somewhere, and that could take a while to find her, I don't know.
Kate: Oh, my God. But, Billie, she's alive! Georgia is alive! This is the most wonderful, wonderful news. Oh, God. Billie, and when we find her, you and Bo are going to be a family. And finally, finally, you will be able to get Hope out of the picture, and you and Bo will be together at last. Oh, sweetie. Oh, God.
Hope: Okay. I understand how incredible this must be for you, Bo -- finding out that the daughter that you thought was dead is alive. But you're turning your back on your family. Not only was your son arrested on a dui and resisting an arrest, but while you were busy with Billie, I also found out that he dropped out of college.
Bo: He did what?
Hope: He's destroying his life, he's throwing his whole future away with Jan Spears. And you know what? He doesn't seem to think that you give a damn.
Bo: What the hell? I just tal--
Hope: You just what?
Bo: I just had a talk with him. Look, our son is obviously having problems. But like he continues to remind us, he's not a kid anymore. We cannot continue to run to his rescue. He's gotta learn from his own mistakes. We should have left him in jail.
Hope: Oh, wait a second. We? You weren't there. It was me -- me alone. And if you felt that way, you could have stayed on the phone long enough to tell me. But then again -- hold on a second, I'm not done -- maybe you'd rather our son stay in jail because you just don't have the time right now.
Bo: That is not true, and you know it.
Hope: It could take months, it could take years to find your daughter. What about our family, Bo? How about Shawn? How about Zack? Are they gonna lose their father because he's searching halfway around the world? And what about me? Am I gonna lose my husband? I just wanna know, because you don't seem to be able to keep your damn hands off Billie Reed.
Bo: What the --
Philip: If you don't wanna lose me, Belle, you're going to have to make a choice, once and for all.
Nicole: Are we gonna end up together, Brady, you and me?
Lucas: This doesn't have anything to do with Celeste’s wacky premonition that Brandon’s gonna ruin our happiness by staying in Salem?
Belle: Answer me, Shawn. Please, just tell me, do you still love me?
Shawn-D: Don't marry Philip.
