John: What's happening to me?
Man: This is huge. I can see why the DiMeras encrypted this file.
Man #2: When Commander Brady and Billie Reed find out, they'll be blown away.
Billie: Bo, Hope, I have something to tell you. I'm leaving Salem... tonight.
Bo: Are you sure?
Billie: Yeah, my flight leaves a little bit later, and I've already got --
Celeste: Oh, I'm sorry.
Billie: Oh, it's okay.
Celeste: You're making a big mistake, my dear.
Brandon: And do you really want me to come to your wedding?
Sami: Well, yeah, Lucas just said he did, didn't he?
Brandon: Yeah, I-I know what he said. What about you?
Sami: Why wouldn't I?
Brandon: You tell me.
Lucas: I just think it's amazing. I mean, first Basic Black agreed to sponsor our wedding, and now this?
Kate: Well, I knew it was what Roman would have wanted, and I wanted to keep my promise to him to watch over Sami.
Lucas: I can't believe it. The great Kate Roberts wants her very favorite son in the world to live happily ever after with the woman of his dreams, and she's not gonna interfere? Not only that, but she's gonna foot the bill for the honeymoon, too?
Kate: Well, I don't know about the favorite son part, but, um, yeah. You got me.
Lucas: Well, good. I'm really happy about it. I keep telling Sami, and she's still upset about her parents, and I just don't want her to worry about the wedding, too.
Kate: Yeah, well, I guess she doesn't have to do that anymore, does she?
Lucas: If only I could trust you. But I canít.
Philip: Belle Black, will you marry me?
Belle: Uh... I-I-I wasn't expecting this. I don't know what to say.
Shawn-D: Well, what are you waiting for? You're a slut, he's a snake -- you're perfect for each other. Of course she wants to get married.
Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives.
Mickey: What is it, Maggie?
Maggie: Oh, just everything.
Mickey: Everything, meaning more than me and Bonnie, and the restaurant, and...
Maggie: Everything, everything. Oh, I thought something good could come out of this horrible little outing of yours. I thought that I could help Shawn and Belle find their way back to each other. I did get 'em to dance.
Mickey: Well, good for you.
Maggie: But then, I... it's such a shame when two people love each other so much, and they're being kept apart by a real bitch on wheels.
Bonnie: Aah! Aah! Mickey, how can you let her say that about your one and only legally wedded wife?
Mickey: Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey! Hey! Hey!
Jan: Don't mind us. Go right ahead and accept.
Philip: Excuse me, I brought belle out here for some privacy.
Shawn-D: Would you get over yourself? Like I even care what you do. But if you're gonna propose to Belle in public, don't blame us for being here.
Jan: It was very romantic, though. Kudos. The ring, nice touch, you know. Although I prefer mine. But I'm sure Belle will like that one. Best wishes on your new life, really, from both of us. Right?
Shawn-D: Well, it's not like she said yes yet. Or maybe it's that Belle doesn't care about marriage now that she just gives it away.
Kate: I approved Samiís plans to let the Basic Black advertisers foot the bill for the wedding, and I agreed to pay for the blessed honeymoon, so I really don't know what else I can do to show my support, Lucas.
Lucas: Just promise me one thing. Give me your solemn word that you're not gonna do anything to sabotage my marriage to Sami.
Sami: I'm the one who invited you. You don't wanna come, do you?
Brandon: This could be a fresh start for you. I mean, you and Lucas and your family, you don't need me there to remind you of what was. It's best for everyone if I'm not there.
Sami: That is not true. I'm not gonna let you being in town ruin my happiness. I wanna prove Celeste and her premonitions wrong.
Brandon: This isn't about Celeste or her premonitions. The only one who can ruin your happiness is you. And I just have to wonder, why do you really want me to come to your wedding?
Sami: Will you come with me, just for a second?
Billie: Uh, excuse me?
Celeste: I could read your aura.
Bo: Celeste, uh, this is not the time.
Celeste: You're correct. Now is not the time for you to leave, darling. The key to your future, the person you will love more than anyone in your life, is right here in Salem.
Billie: Well, I, uh, I appreciate your thoughts, Celeste, but I don't need a psychic reading to understand what I'm giving up by leaving Salem. I'm making the right choice, and I'm doing it tonight.
Celeste: Hmm. Well, I hope you won't regret your decision. The one who will give your life renewed purpose, darling, is very near.
Billie: She's right, the love of my life is near...
Billie: And he... belongs with her. That's why I'm leaving.
Bo: Look, Billie, I know this was a difficult decision for you. I wish -- well, actually, we both wish you all the best.
[Cellular phone rings]
Bo: Excuse me. Where'd I put my phone?
Bo: Is it -- oh, there it is. Sorry.
Man: This is Sanders. We found a hidden file on that DiMera disk. I think you wanna see this right away.
Bo: Yeah, bring it to me, will ya? I'm at Aliceís restaurant.
Hope: What was that about?
Bo: I got this nasty feeling that the DiMeras are not finished with us.
John: [Groaning] What's happening to me?
Woman: How are you doing, Mr. Black?
John: [Groans] Was someone in here before?
Woman: Yes, someone checks on you every hour.
John: No, just now.
Woman: I don't think so. You haven't had any visitors.
Evil voice: You are next.
John: Nurse, I'm not enjoying my stay here very much. I keep having these -- these nightmares because of the extreme discomfort. Maybe you can get me some medication to take the edge off, huh?
Woman: Sorry, it's still not time yet.
John: Are you sure? Please?
Woman: I'll call Dr. Carver and see if there's something else we can give you. In the meantime, try to relax as best you can. Get some sleep, okay?
Mickey: Bonnie, Bonnie! You misunderstood what Maggie said.
Bonnie: Oh, "raving bitch on wheels"? I have ears, Mickey. Did she not say that?
Mickey: Well, yes, she did.
Bonnie: Ah ha!
Mickey: But she wasn't referring to you.
Maggie: Ha ha!
Bonnie: Oh. Well, I wouldn't put it past her.
Maggie: I still can't get over the fact that our housekeeper is now Mrs. Mickey Horton, and I am the laughingstock of Salem.
Bonnie: You said it. I didnít.
Maggie: Look at her. Why she running around here in these ridiculous roller skates?
Bonnie: "She" is standing right here. Oh, ooh, barely. Whoa!
Mickey: Bonnie, be careful.
Bonnie: I was just testing them out, that's all. So, what do you think, Mickey? I think the cocktail waitress would look so hot in these, don't you?
Maggie: Oh, disgusting. My beautiful 4-star restaurant has turned into a barbecue pit.
Bonnie: That's right, sister. And the place has never seen better days.
Mickey: Ladies, ladies, please. Now look, I-I know that this marital situation is far from ideal.
Maggie: You think?
Mickey: But until we can figure things out --
Mickey: Yes, we. You both promised to share the responsibilities of the house and this restaurant.
Maggie: That's right, Mickey. And I'm gonna start right here in the kitchen.
Mickey: Fine. Good, good. Is that all right with you? Sound good?
Maggie: First of all, the menu is lethal. But maybe we can deep-fry Bonnie.
Bonnie: Hey, hey, hey, hey!
Mickey: Hey, hey! Let's just skip the kitchen for now. You know, I don't think -- I don't think either of you realizes that -- that Maggieís real talent lies in greeting the guests at the front door.
Maggie: Yes, I can just see myself. Oh, well, hi, Mickey and Bonnie, welcome to Aliceís.
Bonnie: Hey, lady, that's Mr. and Mrs. Horton to you. Sorry. I snuck a fork full of refried beans before I came by here.
Mickey: Isn't she cute?
Bonnie: [Snorting laughter]
Maggie: Um, no. No, I can't do that. I don't have any wardrobe. Bonnie? She donated all of my gowns to charity. But there's a job that I'm perfect for.
Maggie: Keeping the books.
Mickey: Oh, fine, fine. Maggie can handle the finances.
Billie: Well, if it's news about the DiMera organization, maybe I'll have to stay.
Bo: Oh, no, no. Don't worry about it. We'll forward the file to the I.S.A. Don't want you to miss your flight.
Billie: Thanks. Well, I'd better go say goodbye to my family, or I will miss my flight.
Philip: Belle. Are you okay? I kinda sprung this on you, I know.
Philip: I can see you need a little bit of time, okay? I just realized there's something I forgot to do, something important. You know, I've been carrying this around for weeks, waiting for the right time? I hope this is it. So, just think about it, okay? I'll be right back. All right, here.
Brandon: You cold?
Brandon: So, what did you want to tell me?
Sami: Brandon, after our marriage ended, I thought my life was over. I thought that I could never be happy again. But Lucas makes me happy. He makes me really happy, and I cannot let my life fall apart again. I can't ruin things with Lucas. He's the love of my life. I know that look. You don't believe me.
Brandon: Samantha, you, uh, you said the same thing to me. I'm sure you said it to Austin, and every man you've been with. But somehow, you can't help yourself. Are you sure you really wanna be happy?
Sami: So, why did you come back to Salem? Is it because you wanted to get back together with me?
Sami: Then why were you outside of my apartment building looking up at my window that first night that you came back?
Brandon: You saw me?
Brandon: I guess I was curious.
Sami: About what?
Brandon: You. Maybe I did come back to Salem because I still have feelings for you.
( Orchestra music playing )
Brandon: Look, it's not surprising that I might still have feelings for you, Samantha. We planned to spend the rest of our lives together. But you belong with Lucas now. You know, you have a son together. You deserve to be a family. Most important thing to me is that you're happy.
Sami: Well, then, don't tell me that you still have feelings for me.
Brandon: Look, Samantha. Hey, I can't change the past. And I have to admit, part of the reason why I came back to Salem was to see if you were with the right person. And you are. I'm okay with that. But I don't belong at your wedding.
Sami: So that's it?
Brandon: Yeah, I guess so. I wish you the best of luck. Lucas is a good guy, and I sincerely, sincerely hope you don't mess up this relationship like you did every one before.
Woman: You have a visitor, Mr. Black. He's very weak, so please try not to stay too long, or you'll tire him out.
Philip: Okay. How are you doing?
John: I'm hanging in there, Philip. Sorry to hear about your father.
Philip: Thank you. I was sorry to hear about Marlena.
John: So, how's Belle tonight?
Philip: Well, actually, that's why I'm here.
John: Is there a problem?
Philip: No, no, no. Not at all. I have good news. Um, at least I hope it's good news. Tonight at Aliceís, I asked Belle to marry me. Look, I know that I should have asked your permission first. But since I lost my dad and Belle lost her mom, I have wanted her to feel better about the future. And I want you to know that this is not some impulsive, old school Philip Kiriakis move. That Philip is gone. This Philip wants to do this right, and I wanna do right by Belle. So, I ask you, sir, will you do me the honor of giving me your daughter's hand in marriage?
Shawn-D: I'm gonna go talk to her.
Jan: What? Shawn, no, you canít.
Shawn-D: That's a nice ring you got there. Planning a 6-figure wedding?
Belle: Shawn, please donít.
Shawn-D: Don't what? I don't see what the problem is. You always said you weren't gonna fool around, your husband would be the only man that you'd ever make love to. And that's Philip, so I think you should definitely say yes.
Belle: Is that what you want? Shawn, look at me. Do you really and truly want me to marry Philip?
Maggie: Okay. Bonnie, give me a hint. Where are the books? You know, the accounts payable, receivable?
Bonnie: Right here. And here. And... here.
Mickey: Hey, hey, hey. Hey, hey. What's this?
Bonnie: Oh, Rickyís w-2. I've been looking for that. Thanks.
Maggie: How on earth could you trust this woman?
Shawn-D: Why are you asking me? You already made your choice. You're sleeping with Philip, might as well marry him. Let him try and make you an honest woman 'cause no one else can.
Belle: Why are you doing this? Why are you trying to hurt me?
Shawn-D: I guess it's the truth that hurts.
Belle: It is not the truth. I swear I did not sleep with Philip before your accident.
Shawn-D: Oh, my gosh, it's the same lie over and over again. I am sick of it. You and Philip, you deserve each other.
Philip: I promise, if you say yes and she says yes, I will work so hard to be the husband that Belle deserves.
John: Philip, you and Belle, you're both very young.
Philip: I know that, sir, but we have already been through so much together.
John: Yeah, son, like you said, my daughter is -- is going through so much right now. Listen, Philip, it would be irresponsible of me to condone her rushing into anything that she's not ready...
Philip: Are you okay? Should I call the nurse? Are you all right?
John: Just strangely uncomfortable. I was gonna say that I couldn't think of a more upstanding young man to be with my daughter than you, Philip.
Philip: Thank you, sir. Thank you.
John: Don't get excited just yet. If she will have you, I only ask that you love and respect my little girl. Now I know that Shawn seemed to have her best interest in mind, but in the long haul, he hurt her very badly. Don't you ever do that -- not now, not ever. You just -- you just make her happy.
Philip: I will. I swear I will.
John: Then you have my blessing. And if she says yes, I can only wish you and Belle a wonderful life together.
Philip: Thank you, sir. Thank you so much.
Lucas: There you are. Been looking all over for you. I was gettin' worried. Have you been crying?
Sami: No, no. It's just, um, you know, windy and misty out here.
Lucas: What did Brandon say to you, huh?
Sami: It was a mistake to invite him to the wedding, and he's not coming.
Lucas: That's why you're crying?
Sami: No. It's just that -- I don't know, maybe it's kind of like being an alcoholic.
Lucas: It's like what?
Sami: Well, you know, you don't want a drink, but every time you see a glass, you're tempted.
Lucas: So, what's Brandon? What is he, your tequila? Is that what he is?
Sami: Well, no. It's not that, it's just that -- everything with him just ended, you know, suddenly. He was just cut off and gone like that.
Lucas: So now, every time you see him, what, all those feelings just come rushing back? Is that it, Sami?
Sami: When I see Brandon, there's still, uh, this thing. And I don't want there to be. And it makes me afraid. And that's what you see when you look in my eyes -- fear. It's fear of losing you.
Sami: Lucas, I want to be with you. I hate feeling this way. It's just stupid Celeste and her stupid predictions.
Lucas: You know what? Celeste has nothing to do with this, Sami. You know it.
Sami: I know everyone keeps saying that. But you didn't hear her. Celeste predicted that if Brandon stayed in Salem, my life would be ruined. Well, look at me now. I lost both my parents again. They're both dead. And -- and now you're gonna walk out on me, too. But it's wrong because I don't want to be with Brandon. I want to be with you. I love you, Lucas. I... I do. And if that... still means something to you, I just wanna make you understand.
Philip: Billie, can't you at least stay for Lucasís wedding? Come on.
Billie: I wish I could, Philip.
Philip: Don't be a stranger, then, all right?
Billie: I wonít.
Philip: All right, come here.
Billie: Uh-oh. Now you go. Looks like your girlfriend needs you, huh?
Philip: Okay. Take care of yourself.
Billie: Okay, I will.
Philip: Hey. I'm back, and you don't look happy.
Belle: I'm sorry. I just talked to Shawn, and he was just so --
Philip: Don't worry about it. Don't worry about him. Come on. Whatever he says, it's not worth your time.
Philip: And I'm sorry that I had to run off, but I actually went to go see your dad. I asked him permission to marry you.
Belle: What did he say?
Philip: He said all that matters is your happiness. And, coincidentally, I agree with him. He said yes, Belle. What do you say? Will you marry me?
Evil voice: It's time.
Philip: Belle, your dad already gave me his blessing. Now all I need is your answer.
Shawn-D: All right, I'm driving.
Belle: Yes. Philip, I would love to marry you.
Philip: Okay, it's, uh, the ring! You still have the ring, right?
Philip: No, I have the ring. It's right here. Belle, I can't wait to be your husband. I can't wait for you to be my wife.
Jan: Come on, baby. Take me home to bed.
Shawn-D: I need a drink.
Philip: Please try not to be upset.
Belle: I'm not. I'm happy, Philip. Really. Truly.
Philip: You will not regret this. You have made all my dreams come true, and I swear I'm gonna make you the happiest woman in the world.
Lucas: I do understand about fighting temptation. You're gonna need a lot of support if you're gonna win. That's why Maggieís been such a godsend to me with my A.A. meetings. But you're not alone, all right? You do have somebody. You have me.
Sami: I do?
Lucas: Of course you do. All I ask, Sami, is that you tell me when you need help. Be honest with me like you have tonight. I mean, if -- if we can just keep that up, we won't have any problems. We'll have a great life. We'll have a healthy, adult, mature marriage that'll last us the rest of our lives.
Sami: That's all I want. Lucas, all I want is to be with you.
Kate: Honey, I just wish you would stay. You know, with John in the hospital, I could use your help at Basic Black, and with your experience at Countess Wilhelmina --
Billie: Come on, Mom. Who are you kidding? You don't need my help. You're the most self-sufficient person I know.
Kate: Well, maybe I've changed. You know, this past year I finally got to experience a man who I could trust completely, and who I could share everything with. And I really want that for you, sweetie. That's the kind of man I want you to be with.
Billie: Well, if I ever have it, it's not gonna be here, and it's not gonna be with Bo.
Kate: I don't know, I just can't stand thinking of you out there all alone. What if you don't ever come back to us?
Billie: Listen, I know you want me to be happy, Mom, but you can't make that happen for me.
Lucas: Or for any of us.
Billie: Hey. And that's why I have to go. Sorry.
Lucas: I'm really gonna miss you.
Billie: Me too.
Eugenia: Look at ya, all alone. The sad thing is with everything that you've got going for you, Brandon, I'll bet you're still thinking about Sami Brady.
Sami: Celeste, hi. I have to ask you something. Look, before you said that if Brandon stayed in Salem, it would ruin my future. Well, he's here now. So, what's gonna happen now? I need to know what's gonna happen with me and Lucas.
Hope: Good luck, Billie. Stay safe.
Billie: Thanks. Thank you. And you, you take care of your family and be happy.
Bo: I will. See ya.
Bo: Hey, what do ya got?
Sanders: This is everything we gleaned from the DiMeras' hidden file.
Bo: Okay. Oh, my God.
Maggie: Everyday plumbing with piping, payable with receivable, day with night -- how do you make any sense out of this?
Bonnie: I have a system. Only I can figure it out. So it's silly for you to even try.
Maggie: Oh, well, gee, I'm sure the I.R.S. will love that.
Bonnie: Is that a threat? Your ex-wife wants to have me audited!
Mickey: Listen, she is just trying to point out --
Bonnie: That I could end up high and dry. And who stands to benefit from that? Why, she does, of course. I am not about to let her tell her fed buddies where to set up the firing squad! They're mine! Give 'em back!
Mickey: Hey, calm down!
Bonnie: I've had it! I've had it. All right, back off, you creature from beyond the dead.
Mickey: Please, Maggie! No, please.
Maggie: Oh, get back here!
Mickey: Oh, God, that it should come to this.
Maggie: Okay. No turning back now.
Bonnie: That's right, sister. So you gotta ask yourself, do you feel lucky?
Maggie: Mickey, what are you trying to do, kill us?
Mickey: No, I'm trying to keep you from killing each other. Now look at yourselves. Now put those knives down.
Bonnie: I will if she will.
Mickey: Hey, hey, hey, hey! Hey! Now, obviously, we're going to have to hire an independent bookkeeper. And then we're going to try to figure out the living arrangements -- you know, at home, cooking and cleaning schedules, kitchen and bathroom privileges. So, are we ready?
Maggie: Working together is bad enough. Living with this woman? It is gonna be sheer hell.
Philip: Belle, this is gonna be great. We're gonna find our dream house. What about dogs? You like dogs? I love dogs. It'll be great practice for raising kids. Our kids are obviously gonna be beautiful...
Shawn-D: Because they'll look just like you.
Philip: I can't wait to marry you. Do you think we should set a date?
Jan: We're not gonna let Belle and Philip beat us to the altar, now, are we?
Shawn-D: Will you please shut the hell up?
Brandon: Eugenia, I'd really like to be left alone, if you don't mind.
Eugenia: Yeah, Samiíll do that to ya.
Brandon: For the last time, I'm not thinking about Samantha.
Eugenia: Could have fooled me.
Lucas: Well, I'm outta here. I'm headed home with Sami, and I am happy.
Kate: Well, I hope it will continue. Really, good luck.
[Thinking] You're going to need it.
Sami: So, Celeste, what about it? Am I -- am I gonna be happy with Lucas, or what?
Celeste: You know, darling, perhaps you're right. Perhaps everything is going to work out.
Sami: Really? Is that what the cards say?
Celeste: You know, I must have been mistaken.
Sami: Oh, oh, that is such a relief. Thank you so much, Celeste. You're the best. Oh, that's awesome.
Eugenia: Is that true? Is Sami gonna have a perfect, happy, little life?
Celeste: The truth is, my dear, Samantha is her own worst enemy, and I don't need her to be mine.
Eugenia: Did you lie to her about what those cards said?
Celeste: If Samanthaís relationship with Lucas falls apart, it will be her own doing.
Billie: Okay, Billie, enough dawdling. Goodbye, Mom. Goodbye, Salem. Goodbye, Bo.
Hope: Bo, what is it?
Bo: We gotta stop Billie.
Hope: Billie? What are you talking about?
Bo: Take a look.
Hope: Oh, my God, it can't be.
Evil voice: Come with me, John Black.
Shawn-D: Jan and I are together now, and Belle is with her marine.
Philip: Belle, I'm sorry, that phone call changes everything.
Bo: You keep this to yourself until I have a chance to talk to her.
Patrick: You have my word.
Bo: I don't know what that's worth just yet.
Hope: We just found out something else Stefano apparently did years ago, something that will directly affect Bo, Billie, and me.
