Sami: Perfect. The guest list from my wedding to Austin. I'm gonna invite all of the same people, and I'm gonna prove to them that I can make it to the altar and get married just like anybody else. Belle...of course. Shawn... oh, maybe not. Jack... is dead. Grandma Caroline... is dead. Mom, Dad. God.
Lucas: What? What's wrong?
Sami: Lucas, how can we get married when our friends, our family -- look at them, they're all dead! And my Mom -- we don't even know. I mean, if she's still alive, she --
Lucas: Sami, I wish that there was a way that your mom could have survived, but you and I both know that's just not possible.
Sami: No, Lucas, anything is possible. Look at me, look at my life, all the crazy things that have happened to me. And you and I, we're getting married. You just don't know, right? You never know.
Lucas: Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Listen, I'm grieving, too. But we can't postpone our happiness, can we? I mean, we're wasting time, Sami, and it's -- it's not fair to Will. I mean, it's not right that we keep putting it off like this.
Sami: Okay, fine, then you call Father Jansen and tell him that I wanna get married in the graveyard so that we can be close to our loved ones. Except for, of course, my mother, whose body is missing from her casket.
Lucas: Don't do this, all right? Don't do this to yourself. What are you doing? You just crossed my Mom's name off the list.
Sami: If my Mom and Dad can't come to our wedding, then neither can Kate.
Kate: So, if you're going to have a real marriage partnership, I think you should learn how to cook.
Rex: Are you sure you're up for this?
Kate: You know something, honey, I think this is good therapy for me because if I was at home, I'd be going out of my mind thinking about Billie. I still can't believe she's gone. But, uh, look, why don't we talk about something else, okay? You ready to learn from the master?
Rex: Absolutely. I can't wait to see the look on Mimi's face when she comes home.
Mimi: How soon can you set up an appointment? If I'm going to terminate this pregnancy, I ought to do it right away.
Lexie: Mimi, honey, it's still very early.
Mimi: I'm not going to change my mind.
Lexie: Okay, it's your decision. All I ask is that you consider all of your options. Be certain this is really what you want.
Rex: I mean, having a kid right now would be the biggest mistake of our lives. We're still struggling to make ends meet. No, there -- there is no way. I wanna make sure we do it when the time is right, when we know we can give our child everything I didn't have growing up. I mean, to do it any other way would kill me.
Mimi: The timing's just not right. I don't really have a choice.
Lexie: Not true. You always have a choice.
Belle: Shawn, tell her it's not true. Tell her you still love me. I don't care what's happened, we can get through this.
Shawn-D: But we can't. I've moved on.
Shawn-D: What Jan does for me you never could. Now, if you'll excuse us, I'd really like to be alone.
Shawn-D: I can't wait to get you outta here, get you home.
Jan: It won't be long, lover. Pretty soon you'll be all better. And then we can be together forever just like we always planned. We'll get married. We'll live the rest of our lives in wedded bliss as Mr. and Mrs. Shawn Douglas Brady.
Philip: Let's go. There's no reason we should have to sit and listen to this. Come on.
Belle: I'm not going anywhere till Shawn hears what I have to say.
Hope: Bo thought he saw Billie a few degrees northwest of here. So -- [Twig snaps] what was that? I don't think I wanna find out.
Belle: I need to talk to you. Alone.
Shawn-D: I have nothing else to say to you. You betrayed me. Get out! Get out!
Jan: It's okay.
Philip: Belle, I'm so sorry.
Belle: I betrayed him?
Philip: Maybe he's still hung up on you giving your mom an alibi. Maybe he still thinks that you're responsible for his great-grandmother's death.
Belle: We talked about that before he left. He was sad. He was grieving. But he was nothing like this.
Philip: I don't know, but whatever his problem is, it is not fair for him to take it out on you.
Belle: What could I have done to send him into Jan Spears' arms?
Jan: Way to go, lover.
Shawn-D: I keep... seeing this image... of Belle making love to Philip. And it seems so real. But where could I have been to see that happen?
Shawn-D: I wasn't the only one who saw it.
Hope: I think I lost him. This is where Patrick died. [Rustling] Was that a dart?
Hope: Oh... [Grunting]
Hope: Oh, my God. Oh, my God, Bo.
Lucas: Here. Go ahead and blow, okay?
Lucas: Look, I-I think it's terrible that we're both sitting here taking inventory of everybody that's gone, but, Sami, we gotta move forward.
Sami: Lucas, I don't know if I can put it all behind me.
Lucas: Honey, you don't have to put it behind you. I mean, we're not gonna forget about what's happened. It's always gonna be a part of us. But life goes on, you know? And we have a son. We have to think about our future with Will.
Sami: I know.
Lucas: So, we're just gonna have to have the best wedding we can under the circumstances.
Sami: You're right. And anyway, we're... we're getting married, right? In the eyes of God with lots of witnesses, and -- and the best part is you and I are finally gonna have the peace and the happiness that we deserve.
Lucas: Yeah. Ha.
Lucas: I was just thinking about what you said at the hospital. How we're like the happiest couple in Salem these days.
Sami: I know. We are.
Lucas: Yeah, we are.
Lucas: I'm a happy camper. I'm marrying the most beautiful woman in Salem. Now, honey, are you sure my Mom can't come to the wedding?
Sami: Lucas, do you think she even wants to come? It's not exactly like I'm her favorite person.
Lucas: Of course she wants to come. I mean, you guys are doing great with this truce thing.
Sami: Yeah, but --
Lucas: What? What? What? What? What? What?
Sami: Okay, you know that part of the -- of the ceremony when -- when the priest says, "if there's anyone here who thinks these two should not be joined in holy matrimony"?
Lucas: We're not having that part in our ceremony. No way.
Sami: Well, I don't think that, that's gonna stop Kate. Look, she just lost her daughter and you're practically all she has left, Lucas. And now she's losing you to me. At least that's how she's gonna see it. So, she's not gonna let that happen. She is going to stand up at our wedding and say something awful. You know I'm right.
Lucas: Yeah, I guess you might be.
Sami: And since you are the one that really wants to get married quickly, how 'bout no Kate?
Lucas: I got the perfect solution. How 'bout we elope? Vegas, tonight, you and me?
Kate: I predict before too long, you and Mimi are going to be married. And then you'll be having children. And then I am going to have a wonderful grandchild that I can love and adore and spoil.
Rex: Whoa, whoa. Wait, wait. I already told you that Mimi and I aren't ready for the baby thing. Don't be going and counting your grandchildren before they hatch.
Kate: Okay, okay.
Rex: Someday -- someday we'll have a bunch, but not for a while yet.
Kate: I was a lot younger than you when I had Billie. That wasn't easy, of course, but...
Rex: Do you ever wish you would have waited to start a family?
Mimi: I'm scared you're going to judge me.
Lexie: Oh, no. Mimi, I am your friend as well as your doctor. I am here to help and support you, not judge. You feel it's urgent that you do this, don't you?
Lexie: Why is that? Are you afraid that if you don't do it right away, you might change your mind?
Mimi: No, I --
Lexie: Because if you do it, there's no turning back, you know? Honey, there's no harm in taking a little more time to make your decision. I have a friend I'd like you to talk to before you schedule an appointment.
Mimi: A shrink? I don't think so.
Lexie: No, no, she's not a shrink. Her name's Peggy Johnson. She's a social worker, and she counsels expectant mothers here at the hospital.
Mimi: You may think I'm not sure, but really I am.
Lexie: Well, then there's no harm in talking to Peggy.
Mimi: Why should I?
Lexie: Honestly? When you told me that you wanted an abortion, several red flags went up.
Mimi: Like what?
Lexie: Like, you're still in love with the father of your child, and yet you haven't told him that you're pregnant. And, uh, let's see here... according to your chart, you and Rex have been exclusive for more than a year, which, in your age group, is practically a lifetime.
Mimi: Tell me about it.
Lexie: Listen, I understand this pregnancy wasn't planned. But before you do something irrevocable, you need to be sure of your feelings. Peggy can help you sort them out.
Mimi: All right.
Mimi: [Thinking] I can't let them talk me out of this. If I do, I could lose Rex for good. )
Kate: When I was pregnant with Billie, well, I imagined life very differently. I thought Curtis and I would have a fine little house, two cats in the yard, just like the old Crosby Stills & Nash Song.
Kate: Never mind. Anyway, we ended up a lot differently. And I ended up in a tenement in the city with an abusive husband, and Austin and Billie didn't have the childhood they deserved.
Rex: So, you do wish you would have waited?
Kate: No, I don't. I don't because if I had waited and had children with someone else, then Austin and Billie wouldn't be Austin and Billie.
Rex: Yeah, I see what you mean.
Kate: The only good thing about Curtis was his DNA. When he tricked me into believing that Austin and Billie were dead, I -- oh, God, I wanted to die myself. They were my whole world. They were -- they were an inspiration to me. They made me want to better myself. And then suddenly they were gone
Rex: Then you had Lucas?
Kate: Yeah, then I had Lucas. I didn't tell his father that I was pregnant, which was a mistake because Bill Horton had a right to know that he had -- that he had a child. But I was afraid that he'd take Lucas away from me. So I ran away.
Rex: Wow, you had a really hard life.
Kate: Textbook of what not to do. But that is why I'm so happy that you and Mimi have an open and an honest relationship.
Rex: Listen, Mimi and I, we talk about everything. I mean, I know if she was ever between a rock and a hard place, she'd come to me, and we'd work it out.
Mimi: I'm afraid I'm wasting your time. I already know what I'm going to do.
Peggy: Terminate your pregnancy?
Mimi: Is there a problem with that?
Peggy: I'll respect whatever decision you make, Mimi. It's not my job to approve or disapprove.
Mimi: Wow, you ought to be counseling my Mother, not me.
Peggy: Is your mother putting pressure on you?
Mimi: Yeah, but I don't listen to her.
Peggy: Well, maybe not consciously, but I'd imagine she has an effect.
Mimi: Rex needs to know I'm pregnant. It's his baby.
Bonnie: And I'm sure he'll do the right thing and marry you. But how long is he gonna stick around?
Mimi: Mom --
Bonnie: Your father could not stand the sound of a crying baby. He left me stranded more than once.
Mimi: Rex wouldn't. And I don't wanna talk about this right now. Not while Shawn is fighting for his life.
Bonnie: Well, don't wait too long. You're gonna have to make a decision, and the sooner the better. Look, I love you, sweetheart. Don't throw your life away.
Mimi: She's had a hell of a life. The last thing I wanna do is follow in her footsteps. My boyfriend and I are gonna do it right. We wanna wait till we're settled to have kids.
Peggy: So he agrees with your decision?
Mimi: He doesn't even know I'm pregnant. And if he ever found out, our relationship would be over for good.
Peggy: Now, do you know that for a fact, or are you just guessing?
Philip: Hey, have some water.
Belle: Thanks. Thanks for being here, although I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to leave.
Philip: No, no. I'm here for you. Just let me know what you need, okay?
Belle: Answers. You know, I heard what Shawn said, and I saw him kiss her, but I just can't believe it. Jan Spears?
Philip: I agree completely.
Belle: You know, if he had left me for anyone else, I could probably wrap my mind around it. But Jan? I -- what is Shawn thinking?
Philip: It's strange. It's like he has a completely different personality.
Shawn-D: You saw Belle and Philip, too.
Jan: What do you mean?
Shawn-D: They were in bed together.
Shawn-D: You were there with me, weren't you?
Shawn-D: You set it up. You wanted me to see it. Isn't that right?
Belle: I've never seen Shawn act like this, never in all my life.
Lexie: There may be a reason for that.
Hope: Oh, my God, you're alive. Patrick! Patrick, can you hear me? Patrick!
Patrick: What happened?
Hope: You have a bad case of hypothermia. We need to get you out of these wet clothes. Come on. Can you stand up? Come on. Come on, Patrick, you gotta help me. Come on. Hold on. Come on. Oh! Come on, move. Move, go. Oh! Attention, please. There will be a short delay.
Sami: Thank you so much for watching Will while we had to go to the hospital, Jessica. Yeah, I'm thrilled that will wants to spend the night with Arthur. Great. Okay, we'll see you then. So, where were we?
Lucas: Our way to Vegas.
Sami: Lucas, that is the last place I would wanna get married. What made you even think of it?
Lucas: Well, Will's poker-playing friend from camp. He said his parents were married by an Elvis impersonator. I thought that might be cool. Get his name, his number.
Sami: No, no! That is where Austin dumped me at the altar. And it was all your fault anyway. You're the one who told him that I lied about you hitting will on the stand.
Lucas: Actually, honey, he overheard you shooting off your mouth.
Sami: Well, whatever. That's not the point. The point is that I would never wanna get married in Vegas. That is out of the question, okay? So, just forget about it. I'm gonna sit down and work on my list.
Sami: What --
Lucas: [In German accent] Now, you just lay down there, darling. I think that you need to go back, definitely go back.
Lucas: To overcome the fear of the altar, and the fear of the Las Vegas, and the glitz and the glamour of the Sin City. Huh? Huh?
Sami: Ha ha ha ha. Is that gonna make me a better person?
Lucas: I think so. Yeah, absolutely.
Sami: No. Thanks, but no thanks.
Lucas: Come on, now, wait a minute. We can do it right this time. Me and you bustin' into that chapel saying "I do." Come on, come on. Okay, little darling.
Sami: Ha ha!
Lucas: You ready to take a chance with me?
Sami: You betcha.
Lucas: All right. Shades on. Okay, all right now. I need a one, a two, a three!
Kate: Sonny, I have another show at midnight. Where are the bride and groom? Aah!
Lucas: Oh, no!
Rex: I think she's...
Sami: Another one bites the dust. Ha ha ha ha.
Lucas: No, it's not exactly what I had in mind.
Sami: Hey, you said this got to be my fantasy, too.
Lucas: What am I gonna do with you, huh?
Sami: I am so glad you asked, Lucas.
Lexie: Shawn's personality change could be the result of the blunt trauma to his head.
Belle: Do you know that for sure?
Lexie: I can't say for certain, but given the damage he's sustained and the way he's behaving, I'd say it's quite likely.
Belle: But you said his speech my be affected -- his coordination. But he seems to be expressing himself pretty well.
Lexie: Well, yeah, he's making a better recovery than we ever expected. But it's far too soon to tell what the long-term effects could be.
Belle: Before the accident, something must have happened with Jan. I mean, why is he with her? Why does he hate me so much?
Lexie: I'm sorry, Belle, I wish I could tell you more. [Pager beeping]
Lexie: Oh, excuse me, I have another patient to check on. I'm sorry.
Jan: I overheard Philip and Belle planning to go away for the weekend -- the Green Mountain Lodge. And I told you.
Shawn-D: I must have been angry that Belle was moving on.
Jan: Yeah, with your best friend. You went into a rage, took off on motorcycle. Oh, God, Shawn, I was so worried about you.
Shawn-D: And you followed me?
Jan: When I caught up with you, you were looking through a window at the Green Mountain -- into their bedroom.
Shawn-D: And Belle was... making love to Philip?
Jan: I tried to protect you. But in the end, I couldn't.
Shawn-D: Belle's... not the only one who's moved on. You and I -- I remember making love.
Jan: Yes. Is that all you remember about our time together at the country house?
Shawn-D: No. There's more. Much more.
Patrick: What was that?
Hope: Darts. Probably poisoned.
Hope: Someone's tracking us. Thank God they missed. Here. Are you okay?
Hope: Okay. I think we lost them, at least for now.
Patrick: Where the hell are we, freaking Alaska?
Hope: Hardly. Take those wet clothes off while I find you something dry.
Patrick: Thanks, but I can't.
Hope: Oh, Patrick, you can't go to sleep. Here, just let me help you. All right. Take your pants off. Hurry. Come on. Wrap this around you. I won't look.
Patrick: It's cold...cold.
Hope: All right, all right. All right. Oh, God, this isn't doing the trick. All right, think back to basics. Can't light a fire. It'll alert whoever's after us. Body heat. Okay, all right, body heat. All right. Oh, God, let's hope this works.
Hope: Don't take this personally.
Hope: Mm! [Sound of car accelerating] What do you trust when you can't see what's around the corner? [Kissing]
Sami: But you know what? Hon, we really can't elope to Vegas, no matter how tempting you make it sound.
Lucas: Oh, how come?
Sami: Because of Will. We have to include him. He has been wanting us to get married since he was born.
Lucas: That's right. He's got to be front and center when we're married finally.
Sami: So how are we gonna do this? And more importantly, who are we going to invite?
Lucas: I don't know, you can invite Belle and Eric and...
Sami: Yeah, you could call Philip and Rex and Billie. She'll -- oh. Gosh, I'm sorry, Lucas. I know. I just forgot again.
Lucas: It's all right. I keep forgetting, too. I can't believe she's actually dead.
Sami: Gosh... Lucas, I don't know what I would ever do if I lost you.
Lucas: You're not gonna lose me, okay? I'm never gonna leave you, ever.
Rex: All right.
Rex: Hey. How you feeling? You hungry?
Mimi: What's that I smell?
Rex: Just a little late-night supper.
Mimi: You cooked?
Rex: You up for it?
Mimi: Are you kidding? I'm ravenous.
Mimi: What's going on? Is it some kind of a special occasion?
Rex: Nope. Let's dig in.
After the big parade when all the limelight fades I'll be the one to kiss your eyes the roar fades in the air like hope from a lover's prayer the light from my heart begins to rise and they said I couldn't love you and that it would never last he's just a crazy boy just look at his past and they said I couldn't love you but that was just a lie I couldn't love you more if I tried and I was the lucky one the one having all the fun running into the sun the party never ends and you waited there for me so loving and patiently
Rex: Mimi, what's the matter?
Mimi: Ahem. Nothing. I was just thinking about how lucky I am.
Rex: May I have this dance?
And that it would never last he's just a crazy boy just look at his past and they said I couldn't love you but that was just a lie I couldn't love you more if I tried
Sami: Hey! Hey, there's a shooting star!
Lucas: I saw it.
Sami: You saw it?
Sami: Oh, my gosh. Ooh. Oh, look, there's another one.
Lucas: I missed that. I missed it.
Sami: Oh, my God. Wait, wait, close your eyes and make a wish.
Lucas: Okay. Mm...
Kate: Oh. A shooting star. Lucas. Oh, God, Lucas, you are making the biggest mistake of your life. And I can't just stand by and let it happen. Sami needs to take a fall. And I am just the woman to make that happen.
Rex: Look at us. We fit together like two pieces from a jigsaw puzzle. I love you.
Mimi: I love you, too.
Rex: And one day when we're married and settled down... we'll be able to do this without using protection. We'll be making love to make a baby.
Hope: Cut it out!
Patrick: So sweet. So sweet.
Hope: Oh, you better be delusional, or I'm throwing you back where I found you.
Hope: All right, just -- just try to relax and let our bodies warm each other. Just try to relax.
Jan: Um, what else do you remember?
Shawn-D: My hands were above my head.
Jan: That's the way you like it.
Shawn-D: [Chuckles] Really?
Jan: Yeah, I mean, you enjoy letting me do all the work. It's my pleasure.
Shawn-D: My first time was with you?
Jan: It was beautiful, Shawn. You are a fabulous lover, and you only get better.
Shawn-D: Just no offense. I just thought my first time would have been with Belle.
Jan: Well, she didn't wait for you, did she?
Shawn-D: I guess not. I guess not. I just wish that I could remember more.
Jan: Why don't I give you a little taste of what's to come?
Belle: Shawn doesn't love me anymore. If I didn't get it before, I do now.
Philip: It'll be okay. All right?
Shawn-D: It's so hard to believe.
Jan: What? What, that we're lovers?
Shawn-D: No. No, no. Just... that I don't remember anything except Belle and Philip in bed, and you and I making love.
Jan: Did we ever.
Shawn-D: Don't be mad. I'm just kind of shocked. So, Belle and Philip -- they're a couple?
Jan: What more proof do you need?
Philip: I have every right to pursue a relationship with Belle, and you better stay the hell out of the way.
Belle: You have to tell Rex, Mimi.
Mimi: I can't tell him. I can't lose the love of my life like you lost Shawn.
Hope: You are one mysterious man, Patrick Lockhart.
Patrick: Kind of like your husband Bo, maybe?
Bo: Billie, where are you?
