Belle: Philip, thank God.
Philip: I came as soon as I got your message. Are you okay?
Belle: This whole thing, this whole idea...
Philip: Tell me.
Belle: I'm just -- I'm starting to have serious doubts.
Philip: About going on the broadcast?
Belle: This probably isn't even gonna reach Shawn. This isn't gonna work. This is so stupid. Did I think I could just pop in front of the camera and tell Shawn to come home, and he would? He's probably not even gonna see this.
Philip: It's gonna be okay. I'm going to take care of you. Trust me.
Belle: Philip, I have been acting all brave and sure of myself, but I really think I have lost Shawn forever.
Jan: So, you are sure that you don't know anyone by the name of Belle? You've never heard that name before.
Jan: But you do know me, don't you?
Jan: [Thinking] Oh, my God. Maybe I hit him too hard. Shawn, you know me, don't you?
Shawn-D: Of course. You're the woman I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with. You came to rescue me, right? So unlock this cage, and we can run away, just the two of us. Get me out of this cage, and we can be together forever.
Bo: Tek, I got to know everything there is to know about Patrick Lockhart.
Tek: That's easier said than done, Bo.
Bo: Well, it's got to be done, man.
Tek: I already ran a computer check on the guy. A complete I.D. search.
Tek: Someone's been tampering with his data.
Bo: Ah, damn it. I knew he was up to something. But what is it? We got to find out.
Tek: I'm on it.
Bo: Got to know, Tek, before it's too late.
Bonnie: Patrick, what are you doing? Jennifer and her baby might already be killed. Don't you be next. Do you see what that family's going through out there? Do not do that to your mother. I am already a nervous wreck as it is. I'm starving.
Patrick: I have to find Jennifer. And I know exactly how I'm going to do it.
Lexie: Hope. What's the matter with Jennifer?
Hope: You know about the messages she was getting from Jack? Well, they were all a setup.
Lexie: Of course they were. Jack's dead.
Hope: Here's what we do know. She was lured to an isolated airfield outside of town and kidnapped on a small private plane.
Lexie: Oh, my God.
Hope: After that, our Intel is sketchy at best.
Lexie: Well, okay, where was the plane headed?
Hope: We don't know. We're afraid there may have been a crash. And with Jennifer's high-risk pregnancy, I have to ask.
Hope: Even if Jennifer and the baby do survive the crash, would they be able to live long enough to survive in order to be rescued?
Lexie: Okay, Hope, I don't have enough details to know Jennifer's condition after the crash, but she was having trouble just trying to carry this baby to term. Even under the best of circumstances, we weren't sure if we could save her or the baby.
Hope: Then all we can do is pray.
Lexie: I'm sorry.
Roman: Still no sign of Jennifer.
Abe: Well, if we're right about Jennifer being the next victim...
Roman: Then she'll be sent here, just like the rest of us. My God, Abe. You know that crash we heard? The sound of that plane going down in the jungle -- my God.
Abe: First Jack, and now...
Roman: What if was her? What if it was Jennifer?
Jack: Where is it? I could swear I heard a plane going down. Where the hell are they? Well, whoever it is, I doubt they could have survived that.
Jennifer: [Groans] Oh, gosh. Oh, my baby. My baby! [Sobbing] My -- my baby!
Jack: Who was on that plane? If someone did survive, I got to help them. I got -- I got to help them.
Lexie: Okay, I want you to listen to me. As you know, I didn't encourage Jennifer to go through with this pregnancy in the first place because of the risk to her and to the baby. But now after this trauma, even if Jennifer did survive the crash, the prognosis for the baby wouldn't be good.
Hope: Of course it's not good. I'm just so desperate to know something. The Salem killer has finally been stopped, and we're supposed to be safe.
Lexie: I know.
Hope: Now Shawn and Jen, they're missing.
Lexie: Oh, sweetie, I am so sorry. I'm sorry.
Patrick: "9:00 sharp, old airfield." Maybe there are more clues upstairs.
Bonnie: Patrick? Patrick? Nobody's gonna be here to eat Jennifer's food. I can't let it go to...waste. Oh. With Jennifer gone, I guess I won't be being paid for housekeeping this week. Who knows, this might be worth the whole week. All in a day's work.
Patrick: Nothing! Where did they take her? The coin's gone!
Patrick: Mom! Damn it! [Car pulling away]
Lexie: So you and Bo think --
Hope: That Patrick knows more than he's saying. I know, I know. He says that he's Jennifer's friend, and that he's been staying here to protect her. And he did risk his life last night trying to stop that plane from taking off after Jennifer was kidnapped.
Hope: I don't know, there's something.
Lexie: Still, I know, you think something's off, right? I knew it! I should have trusted my instincts about him.
Hope: There's something he's not telling us.
Hope: I'm gonna find out what it is. Patrick? Patrick? [Car pulling away]
Lexie: Where's he going?
Hope: I don't know, but I intend to find out.
Tek: If Lockhart's got a criminal record, we should be able to find a smoking gun.
Bo: I'm checking in with air traffic control for their latest update. Damn it! Still no sign of that plane Jennifer was on.
Tek: Wherever they were taking her, the pilot made sure no one would know.
Bo: Yeah, and if they did crash, the FAA, Coast Guard, they have no idea where to start this search. Damn it! Time's running out for her.
Tek: I'm gonna put a rush on the Lockhart computer search. I'm gonna have I.S.A. forward you the results A.S.A.P.
Bo: Okay, thanks, man.
Bo: Ah, Shawn, I hope Belle's plan works and you come home to us. We need some good news.
Belle: Philip, if I lose Shawn --
Philip: Belle, you haven' even given your plan a chance to work yet.
Belle: Okay, but what if it doesn't?
Philip: I know how much you love Shawn, and how much you miss him. And when he sees that, he'll come back. Look at you. How could he not?
Belle: Thank you, Philip. You've been so good to me.
Philip: You're my friend.
Philip: Nothing, nothing.
Belle: I know what you're thinking. You're thinking you wish you could go on TV, too, and tell this woman how much you love her.
Philip: This is something I should have said a long time ago. Belle Black is the woman I love. I race today for her, and I will take the checkered flag. That's a promise. I'm taking this thing all the way, Shawn. First the race, and then Belle. I'll wait for you at the finish line.
Belle: Look at you.
Belle: That smile on your face. What's going on?
Philip: Come here. I have a surprise for you.
Shawn-D: It's driving me crazy not being able to hold you right now.
Shawn-D: Why don't you unlock this cage so we really can be together? Wait, wait, wait. Hold on, what are you doing?
Jan: I can't wait to be with you, either. Come on, let's take off all of our clothes.
Shawn-D: No, no, no, no, no.
Jan: I knew it.
Shawn-D: No, Jan, wait --
Jan: No, it was all fake.
Shawn-D: No, no, you're wrong.
Jan: How stupid do you think that I am that I'd fall for your amnesia trick? You haven't forgotten about Belle, not for real.
Shawn-D: I have.
Jan: Why don't you stop lying to me? I am so not in the mood to deal with your lies.
Shawn-D: Jan, just listen to me, okay?
Jan: No, how about you listen to me? When are you going to wake up and smell the low-fat latte, huh? The whole time that you have been away, Philip and Belle have been enjoying each other's company. I showed you those pictures. Now maybe it's time you watched the tape again. Study it. One part in particular. I liked it so much that I decided to do a little editing so that you can watch it over and over and over again. Opening night at Alice's. They sure do look good together. Hey, but you really can't blame her, Shawn. I mean, he is a top-tier stud, and you have been gone for so long. You're not watching. Admit it, Shawn.
Shawn-D: Admit what?
Jan: You want to get out of your cage, I want to hear you say that Belle is a slut and a liar. She never really loved you, Shawn.
Shawn-D: That's not true!
Jan: I knew you were telling me exactly what I wanted to hear.
Shawn-D: You know what? You are the liar and the slut.
Jan: What did you say?
Shawn-D: I love Belle, and I trust her, and I know that she would never, ever be unfaithful.
Jan: [Thinking] Fine. Time to play hardball. If I have to brainwash him, that is exactly what I'll do.
Bo: Listen, Cavelski, I put you in charge of the search for my son. I need answers from you, not questions. Well, it's a two-pronged investigation. With any luck, my son will be on his way home after this Nascar race. Because I need all the manpower I can get. I have all my extra resources on the Jennifer Deveraux abduction case right now. I want to find out who she was talking to and where they took her. Hold on a second.
Tek: Line 3, it's Lexie. She says it's important.
Bo: All right. You get back to me as soon as you have anything, all right? Hey, Lexie, it's me. What's up?
Lexie: Bo, I have an urgent message for you from Hope.
Bo: Did she hear from Shawn?
Lexie: I wish. No, it's about Patrick Lockhart.
Bo: What is it?
Lexie: Um, Hope was keeping an eye on him, but he took off. We have no idea where he was headed. Hope went after him.
Bo: Ah, damn it!
Lexie: She said she'd call, and she needs backup.
Bo: I told her not to go after him!
Lexie: Hope wanted you to know that Bonnie left, too. We think she went after Patrick, but we're not sure.
Bo: Damn it. What is going on with those two?
Bonnie: Would you look at the detail? Pretty amazing, huh?
Man: Not bad.
Bonnie: I think it's one of a kind. Real rare. Who knows how far back it goes? Middle ages? 15th, 16th century?
Man: Caribbean. 18th century, I'm guessing -- early to mid.
Bonnie: Whoa. That's pirates' booty, right? Sunken treasure?
Man: Who knows?
Bonnie: Wow. And it's real, too. Real as a sunset. You can tell by how heavy it is.
Man: Ma'am, I know coins. You don't have to explain to me.
Bonnie: Sorry, I'm just thinking out loud.
Man: It's -- it is nice, though.
Bonnie: Wallpaper's nice. This is museum stuff. Come on, you said it yourself. Early- to mid-1700s.
Man: 18th century.
Bonnie: Whatever. How much? Let's talk gristle. And don't try to run me, 'cause I ain't stupid. Let's face it, I could have gone anywhere. You're just lucky I came here first.
Bonnie: Dollars? $50? Are you out of your mind?
Man: Take it or leave it.
Bonnie: No, you know, I -- I do not have the time or the patience for this.
Man: What do you want to do? My offer stands.
Bonnie: I need at least $100.
Man: Deal. Pleasure doing business with you.
Bonnie: [Chuckles] [Laughing] I played him like a cello.
Patrick: Mom! What the hell have you done?
Abe: You know, we can't be sure that that plane was Jennifer's.
Roman: Well, what else makes sense? Abe, you were the first one on this island. You never heard a plane fly overhead before, right?
Abe: Yeah, I just assumed this island was so remote, it couldn't be on any of the commercial flight paths.
Roman: Yeah. Well, the one we heard sounded like a small plane.
Abe: It could be, and it went off course. Still doesn't answer our questions.
Roman: I think I know somebody who might be able to.
Roman: Speak of the devil.
Tony: Well, you wanted to see me?
Roman: Yes, I did. Come in here. You are gonna call whoever's holding us hostage and tell them to lead us into that jungle. Jack and Jennifer are out there, and we're gonna find them, you got that?
Jack: Oh... oh, my God. I've been going in circles.
Jack: What --
Jack: What's that? Who's there?
Philip: Come here. I'll stand right here. I want you to close your eyes.
Philip: Close your eyes. Okay.
Philip: All right, now turn around. Keep them closed.
Belle: What are you doing?
Philip: No peeking.
Philip: All right, open.
Belle: Oh, my God!
Philip: Think it'll work?
Belle: Who -- who did this?
Philip: I know how much it means for you to get Shawn back, so I decided to sponsor one of the race cars today for you.
Belle: Philip... I don't know what to say.
Philip: You don't have to say anything.
Belle: But these race cars, they all have corporate sponsors. This must have cost a fortune.
Philip: It's okay. I can afford it. And besides, your happiness -- look at you. It's priceless to me. And, there's someone I want you to meet. Hey, Casey, come here. Casey's going to be driving the car.
Belle: Casey? Casey Mears? Oh, my God, I cannot believe I'm standing here like talking to you right now.
Philip: I didn't know you were a Nascar fan. In fact, I didn't think you liked racing at all.
Belle: Shut up, Philip. Shawn converted me. Casey Mears was a rookie last season, and Shawn was always saying how great he was going to be. This -- it's so nice to meet you. I just -- I don't know what to say. Um, thank you so much for doing this for me.
Casey: I'm glad I can help.
Belle: This is crazy. Not only are you like one of the best drivers around, but you are my boyfriend's favorite.
Casey: Well, I'll win it for you today. For you and Shawn. How about a kiss for luck?
Philip: Oh, okay.
Belle: For good luck.
Casey: See you in Victory Lane.
Philip: Go get 'em, bud.
Belle: Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Philip: You got your confidence back now? Your plan looking just a little bit better?
Belle: This is definitely going to work. I'm gonna reach Shawn, and he's gonna come home to me. And I'm gonna be happy again.
Shawn-D: Turn it off!
Jan: Is it finally getting to you? Now do you believe that Belle and Philip are together? Just look at them. They cannot get enough of each other. Admit it, Shawn. Your precious Belle has fallen head over heels for Philip Kiriakis.
Patrick: What did you do with the coin, Mom?
Patrick: You didn't sell it. Tell me you didn't sell it.
Bonnie: You bet I did. I fleeced the poor jackass.
Patrick: It wasn't yours to sell. That coin belongs to me.
Bonnie: Patrick, I had no idea.
Patrick: Well, now you do. Give me the money.
Bonnie: Sweetheart, I love you like a son.
Patrick: I am your son. Give me the money.
Bonnie: Fine. You want the money?
Patrick: What did I just say?
Bonnie: Don't I at least get a finder's fee? 30%?
Bonnie: What are you gonna do, buy it back? It's a lousy coin, Patrick.
Patrick: Never mind. Just go.
Bonnie: Do not let him huckleberry you. You are a Lockhart.
Patrick: Please go.
Man: Can I help you?
Patrick: Yeah, as a matter of fact, you can. That coin -- uh, my Mom, she had no idea that it had some sentimental value.
Man: Sorry, kid.
Patrick: Sir, I'm asking you nicely.
Man: Well, since you're asking nicely... no. That's not even close to what I can get for that. It's hundreds of years old.
Patrick: So then you won't be selling it back to me then?
Man: For a C-note? What, are you kidding? We start in the thousands, and then we might able to work something out.
Man: What the hell?
Patrick: You left me no choice. [Alarm ringing]
Man: You're going down, buddy! You are going down!
Abe: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
Roman: Son of a bitch!
Abe: Settle down.
Tony: Just get a hold of yourself.
Roman: Yeah, you tell me what the hell's going on here, Tony, I'll get a hold of myself.
Tony: I am not the mastermind of this sinister plot. How long do you think it'll take before it gets through that thick skull of yours that I'm a prisoner here like the rest of you?
Roman: Why do I doubt that?
Tony: I showed you the scars that I still bear from being attacked by that tiger. What, do you think I willingly allowed my own flesh to be flailed, and for what? To be stuck on this Godforsaken island with the rest of you? Have you forgotten Marlena?
Roman: What about Marlena?
Tony: She was the serial killer, after all.
Roman: Marlena is completely innocent.
Abe: She was brainwashed.
Roman: And nobody died.
Tony: Look, I -- I want to get off this island just like the rest of you, and I'm all for an escape plan.
Abe: I have a feeling that if we can get to the site of that plane crash, we'll all be home free.
Jack: No. No. She can't be here. I must have been dreaming.
Jennifer: Oh, God. Oh, God, I can't lose my baby. Oh, God, I can't. [Rustling]
Jennifer: Who is there? I need help! [Gasps] Got your strawberry tart.
Jennifer: Oh, gosh. Oh, thank God. Oh, I made it.
Jack: It must've been my imagina--
Jack: Jennifer. Jennifer. Jennifer.
Bo: When was the last time you heard from her?
Lexie: Not since she went after Patrick. But, listen, Hope would call if she --
Bo: Yeah, I know, I know. Listen, I'm gonna take another look around the house.
Lexie: Don't --
Tek: No, I just want to tell you, I was way out of line, and I'm sorry.
Lexie: Tek, it's fine. It happened. It's over.
Tek: I know you're still grieving for Abe, and...
Lexie: Yeah, I... I am still in love with him. I-I'm just not ready.
Tek: No, I totally understand. I mean, I-I acted on impulse. It was a mistake. So... you accept my apology?
Lexie: Of course.
Lexie: Uh, there is, uh, something I... have to tell you.
Lexie: My Mother googled you.
Tek: I thought she was into tarot cards, not search engines.
Lexie: Yeah, well, she wanted to research your history with women.
Tek: What did she find out?
Lexie: The results weren't good. She doesn't think you're dating material.
Tek: She's right.
Bonnie: Aah! Oh, sorry, commander.
Bo: Mrs. Lockhart.
Bonnie: You scared me. I'm sorry.
Bo: Listen, I need a ask you a couple of questions... about your son Patrick.
Hope: Get down nice and easy.
Patrick: Look, I think this is a misunderstanding.
Hope: The only thing I don't understand is why you robbed the pawnshop. What did you steal?
Patrick: There's no time to explain. I'm doing this for Jennifer.
Hope: I don't buy it. You've been lying to us all along. You're under arrest.
Patrick: You have a very simple choice to make. What's more important -- being a good cop and arresting me, or letting me go so I can save Jennifer's life?
Abe: You know, we can't be sure that Jennifer was on that plane or if she or anyone else survived the crash. If we can find where that plane went down, locate the wreckage, there could be a radio to call for help. Or at least the plane's black box could be sending out a signal to the authorities. If we can find that plane, we could be rescued. It could be the only way we have of getting off this island and back to Salem.
Belle: Seriously, Philip, I don't know what to do to thank you.
Philip: Oh, come on, enough with that. It's fine.
Belle: I mean it. You've been so wonderful to me lately. I don't think I'm ever gonna be able to repay you.
Philip: Repay me? What are you talking about? This is what friends do for each other.
Belle: Stop acting like it's not a big deal. Just when I think I can't count on anything in my life anymore, you showed me that I can count on you. You've been there for me the whole time Shawn's been gone.
Philip: You'd do the same thing for me, Belle.
Belle: I don't think I could ask for a more caring, loyal, or generous friend. I mean it.
Philip: Belle, your happiness is important to me -- maybe more important than anything. And if Shawn is smart, he will come running back to town when he sees you on TV. You see, you deserve a man who loves you, who will always be there for you when you need him. Someone who will never let you down and who will never, ever hurt you. And I just want to see all your dreams come true.
Belle: I want the same for you. That woman that you're in love with -- the one who doesn't know about your feelings for her...
Belle: She doesn't know what she's missing out on, Philip. You would be the perfect boyfriend.
Philip: I don't know about that.
Belle: I mean it. I've seen you grow up a lot, and I'm not trying to sound condescending.
Philip: No, no, no, no, it's okay. Go ahead, please.
Belle: You went from this spoiled rich kid to a man who's willing to make real sacrifices. You put your life on the line for our country. You volunteer to help others. Philip, you work for charities.
Philip: All right, that's enough, that's enough.
Belle: And you're modest. And you're always there to help out a friend.
Philip: You know, if you're not careful, I might actually start believing that I'm all these things you're saying I am.
Belle: But you are.
Philip: Enough about me. Are you ready to go on TV, get Shawn to come back? Are you ready?
Belle: As ready as I'll ever be.
Philip: Good luck.
Belle: Thank you.
Man: Welcome, fans, to Nascar at Salem Speedway.
Belle: Shawn, please be watching. You have to be watching.
Jan: Hey, I know how hard this must be for you. I mean, it's not just that they're together, although that's hard enough, but to show their affection like that in public -- I mean, it's crass, tacky, not to mention completely insensitive.
Shawn-D: It's not what you say it is.
Jan: I know your heart must be breaking. Hey, I'll have mercy on you. Hey, Nascar race -- the big race of the summer. You love Nascar. Maybe this'll help you forget about Belle, take a break from suffering. Do you want to watch? Fine, then I'll turn it off.
Shawn-D: No, no, please. Just leave it.
Jan: Here. How about some refreshments? Popcorn and beer sound good?
Jan: You enjoy yourself and relax. I will be back in a sec.
Man: Before the race, we have a surprise guest with a very special message for one of our biggest fans.
Man: And here she is.
Shawn-D: Belle, I can't believe it.
Man: Belle Black, resident of Salem, has a message for a terrific Nascar fan.
Belle: My boyfriend Shawn Brady is missing, and his family is really worried about him, so, Shawn, if you're out there and you can hear this, please come home. Your family really needs you, and I need you. I don't know if you heard, but right after you left, my Mom was killed, and it was really hard for me to get through that loss without you. I feel like I've lost you, too. I can't picture my future without you in it. I love you, Shawn, so please come home so we can have the future we always dreamed about.
Shawn-D: How could you do this to me? How could you be with Philip?
Roman: You know what, Abe? Your plan may work, but it's a long shot. Finding the wreckage of a small plane on an island this size is challenge enough, but breaking through that force field at the city limits may be impossible.
Abe: [Sighs] What options do we have?
Tony: Well, I'd be willing to try.
Abe: You know, I'll do anything to get back to the people I love.
Tek: I can't argue with your mother. Based on my track record with women, you'd be crazy to get involved with me.
Bo: Why did Patrick take off? Where'd he go?
Bonnie: I have no idea where my son is right now.
Bo: Mm-hmm. [PDA beeps]
Bonnie: What's that? Did you get a message?
Bo: Why, yes. It's about your son. Got the results of the I.S.A. background search on Patrick. Looks like your darling boy could be a killer.
Patrick: If you put me in jail, you're signing Jennifer's death certificate.
Jack: I am sure that was her. That had to be Jennifer. I got to find her.
Jennifer: Okay. Ow. Okay, I got to get out of here. I've got to save my baby. Oh, my God. You've got to be kidding me. You've got to be kidding. Oh.
Jack: I love you. I need you. You're my only hope.
Jennifer: Come on, Jack, where are you? Jack, where are you?! Jack?!
Jack: That's her. I'm coming. Jennifer, hold on!
Jennifer: Help! Somebody help me! Help! Somebody! Help!
Shawn-D: Jan, what -- what is it? What's wrong? Oh, my God, that's Belle! What is she doing on TV?
Belle: I think it's time you start focusing on the woman that you're in love with.
Philip: What if I told you I was looking at her right now?
Bo: If you know something, you even suspect it, you got to tell me.
Bonnie: Patrick isn't who he says he is.
Patrick: Put the phone down.
Hope: You wouldn't dare pull that trigger.
