Man: Do you understand these rights as I've read them to you?

Lucas: Please don't do this, officer. I didn't do anything.

Man: I'll take that as a yes.

Lucas: Come on. Mom, help.

Kate: What the hell is going on here?

Man: A neighbour called 911, reported a domestic dispute. Mr. Roberts attacked this woman.

Kate: What? Oh, come on. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. If anyone should be pressing charges here, it's my son. Look at her. I mean, she can barely stand up. She has been hysterical all night. She is absolutely plastered. She attacked my son, and if she said anything other than that, then she's a bigger liar than she is a drunk.

Man: I know what I saw. He hit her.

Lucas: No, she was losing it. She was out of control. I was just trying to --

Man #2: What, slap some sense into her? There is never an excuse for abuse.

Lucas: That's not what happened. Come on, Sami, tell them the truth. Tell them what really happened tonight.

Man #2: Ma'am, you do not have to say anything to him, but we need you to come with us to make a statement and press charges.

Lucas: She's not going to press charges. You don't want to do that, do you, Sami? Come on.

Man: She's not exactly jumping to your defence, Mr. Roberts. Come on, let's go.

Lucas: No, she's -- she's in shock.

Kate: No, don't do this. You have it all wrong. This is ridiculous. Look, would you listen to my son?

Belle: Shawn, wait.

Shawn-D: What?

Belle: I heard the song, and I thought you were here, but it was just Philip. I just needed a friend to talk to. What, am I not allowed to cry because my mom was arrested and charged for being the serial killer? Am I not allowed to pray and maybe believe that there's still a chance she could be innocent? You know, a little while ago, I was hoping that father Jansen would prove my mom was possessed, and as horrible as that sounds, that would at least mean that she didn't kill all of those people out of her own free will. My life is falling apart, and all I wanted to do was run into your arms, but I couldn't, and you know what, Shawn? You're right. The only person I have to blame is myself.

Shawn-D: I told you I didn't blame you for gran dying.

Belle: But you're leaving. You're leaving me to go, what, join the merchant marine? You're leaving forever, maybe? Shawn, you have lost so much, but so have I. I just needed a friend to talk to.

Shawn-D: Is that what you are, Philip? Just a friend?

Belle: Oh, my God, Shawn. What are you implying, that there's something romantic going on between Philip and me? Are you crazy? I love you. You know that.

Philip: What's your deal, Shawn? You dump Belle, but then God forbid she should even talk to another guy, right? Is that it?

Shawn-D: Hold on a second. I did not dump her, okay?

Belle: No, you just don't want to be with me.

Shawn-D: No, of course I do. It's killing me that I'm not with you right now. I still love you.

Jan: Shawn is desperate to get away. I was sure he was heading for my country house, but he's still here -- with her.

Nicole: Focus, Jan, huh? Forget about Shawn for one minute and concentrate on the fact that you won't make it to your country house, either, unless we take care of Marlena. She knows we were plotting something. Now, she's in prison awaiting certain execution unless she can come up with a way to save herself. She is desperate.

Jan: Well, we can't save her. She's guilty.

Nicole: She's not going to take the rap for a murder she didn't do. We killed Victor, remember? If she talks about what she knows, which she's bound to, someone's going to put the pieces together. I mean, your fingerprints are all over the kiriakis mansion. Jan, are you even listening to me?

Jan: Yeah, I was just thinking about Shawn and that stupid Belle.

Nicole: I should learn never to partner with someone who's a complete wack job. All you think about is Shawn. You know what? Never mind. I'm going to take care of Dr. Evans myself.

Bo: She's been processed, ready for transport to county lockup.

John: I need a minute with my wife, Bo.

Bo: You got 30 seconds.

John: You okay?

Marlena: No. John, all those people -- dead. You said that I confessed. I don't remember doing that.

John: Well, the fall off the terrace knocked you out. It's no wonder you don't remember anything.

Marlena: What if I am guilty? Then I deserve to go to jail. No, worse, I -- I deserve to die... the way all those people did, people -- people that I love so much. How can I make that up to them?

John: Listen, don't even talk like that. Whatever happened, there's one thing I know, and that is you are not a killer, and I will not rest until I see that you are vindicated.

Marlena: Thanks for believing in me.

John: Until I die.

Marlena: [Sobbing]

Bo: It's time.

Hope: Come on, John. Don't make this any more difficult than it already is. Come on.

Bo: John.

Marlena: I'm so scared. I'm so scared.

John: You be strong, doc. I love you.

Marlena: I love you.

John: Be strong.

Kate: No.

Man: Wait a minute. Is there a child in the home?

Kate: This is not a home, okay? My son and this tramp are not together.

Sami: Will. Will -- where's -- where's my baby? Where's will?

Kate: Did you hear that? What kind of mother is that? She doesn't even know where her child is.

Lucas: Sami, come on, don't you remember? My mom took will to your grandfather’s. We didn't want him to see you this way.

Man: Listen, I got to put this into my report. Whenever there's a child involved, we've got to notify family services.

Man #2: Your son's violence is really the main issue.

Kate: My son is not a violent man. I know what a violent man does to a woman. I was a battered wife, and I was hit, and I was beaten, and do you think I would let this take place here?

Man #2: A history of violence in the family?

Kate: My God, no. I'm not talking about Lucas’s father. I'm talking about Curtis -- Lucas is a Horton. Doesn't that name mean anything in this town anymore? I have a feeling you don't know who I am.

Man: And just who are you?

Kate: I am the late police commander's wife Kate Roberts Brady.

Man: We had a lot of respect for commander Brady, ma'am.

Man #2: And isn't this his daughter?

Sami: Daddy. I just want my daddy back.

Kate: Oh, my God, you stupid bitch. You know, I made a promise to your father, but as of now, that truce is officially done.

Sami: Oh, it's been done for a long time, Kate. It was, like, 50 times done.

Kate: That is it. This is war.

Woman: So, this is the notorious Salem stalker. I'll order extra security.

Marlena: Well, I'm not going to try to escape.

Woman: Yeah, that's what they all say. You know, I'm going to keep you on suicide watch, too. I'm not about to let you circumvent the law by offing yourself. Although it would save the taxpayers money.

Bo: That's enough. Open the door.

Marlena: Bo? Are you really leaving?

Bo: Yeah. I'm sorry that -- I hope that -- goodbye, Marlena.

[Wolf whistle]

Woman: Mmm, mmm, mmm.

Woman #2: Fresh meat.

Marlena: Hello.

Woman #2: What's your name? Hmm? Let me guess. Barbie?

Woman: No, that's Dr. Marlena Evans, the doctor of death.

Woman #2: Oh.

Woman: You know, the one that killed all those people.

Marlena: Do I know you?

Woman: I'm a graduate of that award-winning program that you ran for at-risk youths. We spent a lot of time together. But I bet you don't even remember my name.

Marlena: I'm sorry. I took a fall. I don't have any --

Woman: No excuses! Isn't that what you always told me? Now what was that phrase? Blame shifting. And speaking of blame, see where all your help landed me?

Woman #3: I know you too, doctor.

Marlena: I'm sorry. Do I know you?

Woman #3: You met me for about two seconds. But that didn't keep you from testifying against me at my trial. You were the prosecution's expert witness. You're the reason I'm in this hellhole. You did all that to me while you were running around Salem committing murder after murder. Well... now you're here, and we're together. Isn't that great? Welcome to my world.

Hope: John, come on. You've got to try to relax.

John: I can't relax. I'm worried about doc. She is in such a fragile emotional state right now, and God only knows what she's going to face in prison, hope. I don't think she can handle it. She's gonna crack on me. I know it. She's gonna crack.

Hope: Well, it's not going to help her if you crack first. Come on, John. You've got to pull yourself together and get ready for this meeting with the D.A. We're going to have to go over all the evidence against Marlena.

John: That's a waste of time, hope.

Hope: I know you're anxious to be with her, but you can't visit with her just yet. Once we get all the legal formalities --

John: Look, hope, I'm not saying anything to the D.A., and I sure as hell am not going to testify against my wife.

Belle: Shawn, you still love me?

Shawn-D: You know I do. I just need time.

Philip: What about what Belle needs? She can't be with you, but she can't be with anyone else, right? If you run off and join the merchant marine, you guys will hardly ever see each other. And what's she supposed to do, just wait for you to get home, Shawn?

Belle: Philip, stop.

Shawn-D: No, it's okay. I knew it.

Philip: What?

Shawn-D: I knew it. You have been waiting for years for the chance to take Belle away from me.

Philip: Now you're just talking crazy.

Shawn-D: Oh, am I?

Philip: Excuse me, but you guys are broken up.

Shawn-D: No, no, actually, Philip, we're not.

Philip: You're moving away, moving on with your life. Now why don't you give Belle the same chance? When I broke up with Chloe, it was you who told me I needed to get on with my life, remember? Now Belle needs to get on with hers, you understand that?

Shawn-D: Yeah, I understand. It's crystal-clear, Phil. It's not a difficult concept. But listen, things were different with you and Chloe, okay? I just need time to put things on hold and get my head straight.

Philip: And Belle needs to get her head straight, too. She needs someone to talk to, and she needs someone to hold on to, and that person should be you. If you can't handle the job, Shawn, I'm telling you right now, step aside.

Jan: [Thinking] You never stepped aside for me, Shawn. You always loved me best. I can't wait one more day to make you mine.

Hope: You've already given us your statement. You can't recant now.

John: I'm marlena's husband. No one can compel me to testify against my wife in a court of law.

Bo: So you don't want the truth to come out?

John: I'll give you the truth. The truth is that all the evidence you have against my wife is circumstantial. And most of it's based on hearsay by me. Now the facts are Marlena is not responsible for these murders. It just isn't possible.

Bo: So who is responsible? Stefano? No, he's dead. How about Hattie? No, she has an alibi. You can't even say that evil made her do it.

Hope: Bo -- John, look, we don't like this either. But you said that Marlena confessed to you. Now, if you don't testify against her, she's going to walk.

Bo: And kill again.

John: Hope, I thought you were on my side here. You don't believe Marlena did this any more than I do.

Hope: I believe in the system. If you refuse to go on record, who's going to look guilty but you? You're the only other suspect we have.

John: Fine. I'll gladly go to jail in her place. Take me in.

Bo: What do you think is gonna happen to her in prison? She murdered nine people in cold blood, John. I think she'll be able to handle herself in the cell block.

John: Damn it, Bo, she's not a hardened criminal. And if I don't get her out of there, I swear she will die in there!

Woman: Yummy. I love it. Are you hungry?

Woman #2: Yeah.

Woman: You can have mine.

Woman #2: Right on.

Woman: Lost your appetite? Is it the food or the company? Or maybe you don't like the atmosphere.

Marlena: Look, um, I'm sorry. What's your name?

Woman: Crystal.

Marlena: Crystal. I'm sorry that I forgot it.

Crystal: It's okay. And, hey, you know, maybe you had more influence over me than I first thought. 'Cause I've got a life of crime going on here, and so do you.

Marlena: Oh!

Crystal: Aah! Uhh!

Marlena: So sorry. I'm so sorry.

Woman #3: If we have to share a cell with an uppity rich bitch, why couldn't it have been Martha Stewart? She wouldn't have been so messy.

Crystal: You know, doctor, since you caused this mess, maybe you want to help me clean it up.

[Prisoner whooping]

Woman: Crystal, you got a visitor.

Crystal: I'll be back, girls.

Woman #3: Hey, Dr. Evans, you'll want to eat these. We don't want you to starve, now, do we?

Crystal: Girlfriend! I am damn glad to see you.

Nicole: Hey, crys.

Crystal: How did you know I was in here?

Nicole: When aren't you?

Crystal: How do you manage to stay out? After all, you grew up in the same crappy neighbourhood as me. You did porn like me. Yet you're living on easy street, and I'm getting busted over and over again.

Nicole: I don't know. Just luck, I guess.

Crystal: Yeah, well, I've never had much of that. Like mistaking a cop for a John. You know, I could be out there free and clear on my back earning a few Benjamin’s instead of being in here. I got no money for a decent lawyer, or bail or anything. So I'm stuck waiting for a trial date, and who knows how long that will be? Meanwhile, I got no one to take care of my kid except my mom.

Nicole: That lush?

Crystal: What choice do I have?

Nicole: Well, you could ask an old friend for help.

Crystal: You?

Nicole: Yeah. I got enough moolah for bail and a good lawyer.

Crystal: What do you want? You never do anything for anybody, unless you get something in return.

Nicole: Actually, there is one teeny-weeny thing you can do for me.

Belle: Philip, don't be mad at Shawn. It's a no-win situation for him. If I hadn't lied about my mom --

Philip: If you hadn't lied, then what, Belle? You didn't kill anyone. You didn't lie to Shawn’s parents. They're the cops. It's their job to catch the killer. Cassie figured it out. Tony figured it out. But Salem’s finest were totally clueless.

Shawn-D: You better stop talking about my parents. I'm warning you.

Philip: What's gonna happen, Shawn?

Shawn-D: Or -- screw you, Philip!

Philip: Shawn, do you want to get into this? And I mean really into it. 'Cause just say the word. I'm ready whenever you are.

Jan: [Thinking] Come on, Shawn, don't be afraid. You could wipe the floor with his cocky ass.

Belle: Guys, stop it! You are going to make it much worse than it already is.

Jan: [Thinking] Loser!

Philip: Belle, I want to be sure you understand what this is about. While his parents were letting the killer slip through their fingers, little Shawn here was running around accusing one innocent person after another. Rex, Tony -- you remember. Great work, detective. That did a lot of help. Nice job.

Belle: You know what? Sarcasm's not helping right now either, Philip.

Philip: Belle, I don't pretend to understand what's going on here, but I do know one thing. If your mother did anything wrong -- if she hurt anyone -- there's no way she was in her right mind.

Shawn-D: That's easy for you to say.

Philip: Oh, it's easy for me? Shawn, do you think you're the only person who lost someone? Cassie was my sister. Victor was my dad. I lost just as much as you, so don't you dare blame this on Belle when your parents screwed up, and you screwed up big time.

Shawn-D: You think you're telling me something I don't already know? I'm to blame. My great-grandmother is dead. I let her down. And I lost my grandfather and my grandmother, my aunt Maggie, my uncle Roman, and the list just keeps going on, Philip! You're telling me that Victor was your father? I know he was your father! He's my grandfather! And I couldn't save him, either. That's why I can't look Belle in the eye, and that's why I have to get away! 'Cause otherwise, I am just gonna go nuts, Philip!

Belle: Shawn, why can't we work through this together? Why do you have to push me away?

Philip: That's because he's taking the easy way out. He's running away.

Shawn-D: Just shut up.

Belle: Okay, Shawn, you want to leave town, then go. I'm not gonna stand in your way anymore. If you don't want to be here, I don't want you to be here.

Jan: [Thinking] Belle, you make me sick. I want to hurt you so bad.

Belle: Goodbye, Shawn. I really hope you find the peace that you're looking for.

Jan: [Thinking] Looks like I might get a chance to hurt you sooner than I thought.

Shawn-D: Belle, wait. Wait. Just don't go.

Belle: Aah!

Woman: This isn't kindergarten, doc. The big girls are gonna pick on you if you don't dry those tears.

Woman #2: Yeah, cheer up. From what I understand, you ain't gonna be here long. You're on the fast track to death row.

Marlena: Aah!

Woman: Us petty criminals are honoured to have such a big-time criminal in our midst.

Woman #2: Tell us all about it.

Woman: Yeah. Tell us about killing all those people. Why'd you do it? You gonna try and kill us, too?

Woman #2: How's she gonna without a weapon?

Woman: Hey, killing machine such as yourself would find a way. Right, doc? Come on.

Marlena: [Thinking] Oh, please. Whatever it takes, get me out of here. [Aloud] Aah!

Crystal: You want me to do what?

Nicole: You heard me.

Crystal: You call that a teeny favour?

Nicole: It's a piece of cake.

Crystal: You call murdering somebody a piece of cake?

Nicole: If Marlena talks, I'll end up in jail right next to you. And all my money won't be able to help you or me. Now I got a big, fat envelope full of cash waiting, and it's got your name on it. And, crys, think of the life that you could give yourself and your little girl. And it's not like marlena's not already on her way out anyway. You'll be saving the taxpayers a lot of money and doing the world a big favour.

Philip: Belle, you okay?

Shawn-D: What happened?

Belle: Yeah, I'm fine. I was just walking to the stairs, and I thought I saw someone walking in the shadows. I wasn't looking where I was going, and I fell.

Philip: Let me help you up.

Shawn-D: I got it.

Jan: [Thinking ] Why don't you pretend she's a wishbone and break her in half?

Belle: You guys, I'm fine. It was totally stupid.

Shawn-D: You're bleeding.

Belle: It's just a scratch. Don't worry about me.

Shawn-D: I can't help it.

Belle: I'm gonna go put something on it.

Jan: [Thinking] You'll really be bleeding when I'm through with you.

Bo: You know marlena's list of victims. Friends, family, people she claimed to love. Who's gonna be safe if she's back out on the street again? Not Brady. Or Sami. Not even Belle.

John: She'd never hurt her daughter.

Bo: Are you kidding me? She butchered cassie, a child she gave birth to. She went after Sami. She pulled a gun on you! Do you really want to explain to everybody at the next funeral that it's your fault she murdered again?

Hope: John, you know in your heart you have to do this. You have to do the right thing.

Hope: What happened?

Bo: Why is he in cuffs?

Kate: This is all sami's fault, as usual.

Bo: Aquino, give me some facts here.

Aquino: Brown and I responded to a domestic disturbance call. We arrived in time to witness Mr. Roberts slapping ms. Brady.

Hope: Lucas, how could you?

Lucas: You know, I hate to drag my family's name through the mud, but Sami was hysterical. All right, she was blitzed, and that's why I hit her, 'cause I thought it was the only way to calm her down. I swear, that's the only reason why I did it. You both know Sami. You know how she can act sometimes. The girl was out of control. I didn't want her to hurt herself again like she did when she ploughed through Tony’s windows and almost died.

Sami: I just want my mommy, and I want my dad! I just want my --

Brown: Ms. Brady is traumatized. A little disoriented. We brought her down to press charges.

Lucas: I cannot believe this is happening.

Kate: Hope, please, isn't there something you can do about this?

Hope: It's battery, Kate. The officers saw it. We can't pretend it never happened.

Lucas: Ah, come on.

Bo: Aquino, start the paperwork. John, in my office.

Hope: I'm sorry.

Lucas: Bo --

Hope: Lucas, have a seat.

Lucas: Hope, come on, this is wrong.

Hope: Sami, are you okay?

Bo: Well, you saw Sami.

John: Yeah.

Bo: She's a wreck. Because her mother murdered her father. For some reason, she can't deal with that. And your attitude is not helping here. How is she or anyone else in this town supposed to recover from this hell we've been living in if Marlena doesn't go to trial?

John: What's that gonna do to her? How is that gonna help her? This is her mother we're talking about. Hell, if I testify -- oh, damn, she hates me enough the way it is.

Bo: So what?! If you care at all about that young lady out there, you'll see this thing through to the end.

John: You are asking me to sentence my wife to death.

Bo: If you don't, how many other people you care about will you sentence to death?

Nicole: Well, it's been good catching up with you. And as soon as you get out of here, we'll have a good ol' crystal cristal toast, okay?

Crystal: But -- but --

Nicole: Just get the job done. Today, or the deal's off.

Woman: [Crying] You're really a doctor?

Marlena: Yes, I am.

Woman: Please, can you help me? I got to come down without crashing.

Marlena: Sure. You need to try to stay relaxed. Take a lot of deep breaths.

Woman: Bite me! I need drugs!

Marlena: Matron! There's a woman here who needs medical attention.

Woman #2: This isn't a clinic. You're a doctor. You help her.

Woman #3: Doctor marlena's a quack who's never helped anyone. Why don't we help her?

[Cell door opens]

Crystal: Hey, ladies, lay off. She's mine.

Hope: John, I want to believe in Marlena. Trust me. But I believe in the law. It's my job. If she isn't criminally responsible, then the court will figure it out. But we have to let the system handle it. And you're not doing her any favours by allowing her to skate on a technicality without the facts ever coming to light.

Bo: If she walks, her practice will be ruined. There'll be finger-pointing, whispers behind her back wherever she goes.

Hope: You've already come forward with your accusations. You have to stand by them. It's too late to go back now.

Sami: Where is my mom? She's in jail, isn't she? And it's all because of you, John.

John: Sami, listen. I know you don't trust me, I know you're upset right now, but I'm going to make you a promise right here. Your mom's not going to prison.

Sami: She already is! And it's all your fault!

Hope: Sami, I promise you we will work night and day to figure out exactly what happened to your mom, and I pray to God when the facts come to light, she will be exonerated.

Sami: What, you just want my mom to sit in jail for what, 20 years, while you guys figure it out? I don't believe in the system, aunt hope. The system let me down. I was on death row before, and I had poison going through my veins before I was saved.

John: I'm so sorry.

Lucas: Stop! No, don't do it! Don't kill her! I killed Franco! I did it!

Shawn: It's too late!

Lucas: No, it can't be!

Man: Look for yourself!

Lucas: It can't be! No! No! No! No! Get off me! No!

Sami: I will never forget how I felt on that day. And I will never forget the way that my mom stood by me.

Marlena: Sami, I'd do anything for you. I would even change places with you if I could. I know you would, too. The same way you feel about will.

Sami: Mom, I'm sorry. I am so sorry for everything I ever did. I'm sorry.

Marlena: It's in the past. It's all over now. It doesn't matter. I'm never going to leave you. Not ever.

Sami: I know. 'Cause now I have to leave you.

Marlena: Honey, I've got you, baby. I've got you. Listen to me. Whatever happens, you're always going to be able to feel my arms around you.

Sami: God, I know how my mom feels right now. And I just think back on all the terrible things I've ever said to her, and I -- I would do anything to trade places with her right now.

John: Don't say that, Sami.

Sami: But it's true, John. I'm not a very good person. I could handle it, but mom -- mom, she's so good. She won't be able to survive in that hellhole.

John: Listen to me. And I hope you can understand what I'm about to say. The D.A. doesn't have a case against your mother unless I testify, and I'm not going to do it. They can't subpoena me, they can't force me to turn state's evidence against my wife. So if I don't testify, your mom's walking free.

Woman: What are you looking at, Dr. Death?

Woman #2: Think we don't have anything better to do than sit around and talk about you? My, my, my, you are awfully high on yourself.

Woman: The world doesn't revolve around you. It's national organ and tissue donor awareness week. We'll tell you how

Philip: Shawn, you're not even going to go after her?

Shawn-D: Oh, I'm gonna straighten everything out with Belle. Don't you worry about that. But first I think I need to lay down some ground rules with you.

Philip: Oh, I can follow my own set of rules, but thank you, I'm fine.

Shawn-D: Doesn't sound like a very good attitude for a soldier. Aren't you guys supposed to follow orders, no questions asked?

Philip: I have no problem following orders given to me by a superior officer. It's just that I don't see anything superior here.

Shawn-D: At least I'm not trying to steal my best friend's girl.

Philip: Sounds like a cheesy song title, man.

Shawn-D: Give me a break. Ever since you came back to Salem, you've been trying to take Belle from me. When you went on that show -- what was what, "love is blind"?

Philip: I have never, ever hurt Belle the way you did when you decided that Jan spears and her baby were more important to you than anything or anyone in your life. You have never put Belle first, Shawn.

Jan: [Thinking] And why should he?

Shawn-D: You got no sense of loyalty, man. And now you're trying to steal Belle from me?

Philip: Look, Shawn, if you want to make me the bad guy here, I won't argue. I just don't understand what Belle ever saw in you. See, I think she needs a real guy, not mommy and daddy's little sailor man.

Shawn-D: Come here! Come here!

Sami: John, you mean that you aren't going to testify against my mom?

Bo: John, don't say anything else.

John: That's a fact. I'm going to do everything I can to help your mother. Now what we have to do is close ranks as a family and support her, because the last thing I would ever do is go into court and speak against someone that I love.

Brown: Aquino is finishing up with Mr. Roberts. I'm ready to take your statement now, ms. Brady.

Lucas: Look, I'm a recovering alcoholic myself. All right, I know what sami's going through. She's feeling a lot of pain, and she's acting out. She's acting out on raw agony. Come on, man, she was spinning out of control. What was I supposed to do? She's got a history of hurting herself. She does. She's wild and impetuous. And I know hitting her was wrong. I know it was. But I would never hurt her. Not on purpose, man. I lov-- Sami, I'm sorry. I really am, I swear.

Brown: Ms. Brady, are you ready to make your statement now?

Sami: Yeah. Yeah, I'm ready.

Hope: It's not too late to change your mind, John.

John: Nobody can change my mind. I'm not testifying against Marlena. End of story.

Bo: Then you've just consigned some innocent person to death.

Woman: It's bad. It's really bad. I got to have something! I can't stand it! I'm climbing a wall! My head's gonna explode!

Woman #2: Shut up! We're tired of listening to you complain!

Woman: I have to have help!

Woman #2: I'm telling you for the last time!

Woman: You pushed me!

Marlena: Oh, no! I didn't push you.

Woman #3: Fight! Fight!

[All shouting]

Marlena: Matron!

Woman #4: Hey, hey!

Marlena: Matron! Matron! Matron!

Jan: [Thinking] Go Shawn, go Shawn! Be aggressive! B-e aggressive! Wait, what am I saying? Come on, Philip, knock him out cold. If he's unconscious, I can drag him to my place.

[Both grunting]

Shawn-D: Get off me, you --

Belle: Oh, my God, what are you guys doing?

Shawn-D: Belle, get out of here right now!

Belle: No!

Nicole: I hate to recruit people to do my dirty work, but at least it keeps my own hands clean. I get to get away with murder. Twice.

[Woman shouting]

Marlena: Matron! Someone's gonna hurt up here.

Woman: By someone, do you mean you?

[Shouting continues]

Sami: Um, I'm ready to give my side of the story.

Lucas: I'm toast.

Kate: Little witch.

Sami: Everything Lucas said about me being drunk and totally out of control, well, it's all...

Lucas: Here it comes.

Sami: It's all true.

Kate: What?

Sami: I was hysterical, and if you two had come two minutes sooner, you would have ended up arresting me, not Lucas. I mean, yeah, you saw him slap me, but I know that he wasn't trying to hurt me. And I know he won't ever do it again. And -- and I feel I have to take responsibility for my part in all of this, so I think it would just be better if we just called it a day, you know?

Kate: [Thinking] I don't believe it. What is that tramp up to now? What kind of game is she playing?

Lucas: I don't know what to say. Thank you.

Sami: Lucas, I know you were just trying to help.

[Telephone rings]

Bo: Commander Brady. Yeah. All right, thanks.

Hope: What happened?

Bo: That was the warden at the women's detention facility. A fight broke out in the holding pen. Someone was stabbed.

Hope: Oh, my God, is she all right?

Bo: She's dead.

John: Oh, my God, it's Marlena. It's got to be.
