Bonnie: Hmm. I know what this needs. Oh, damn it. The story of my life these days. What are you looking at?

Bonnie's voice: No one I'd care to know.

Bonnie: Who asked you?

Bonnie's voice: Hey, what's with the pity party? Is that any way Bonnie "never say die" Lockhart deals with a setback?

Bonnie: A setback? I just got turned down for a liquor license. And let's face it -- without booze, this country bar is dead on arrival.

Bonnie's voice: Only if you give up. And, baby, you've come too far to do that now.

Bonnie: What choice do I have?

Bonnie's voice: What about sexy Rexie? Brains and brawn. You were smart enough to turn to him.

Bonnie: Yeah, and what has sexy Rexie done for me lately to get me out of this mess, huh? Squat, that's what.

Rex: Not necessarily.

Bonnie: Rex?

Rex: Alice's will have a liquor license, Mrs. Lockhart, and before your opening night.

[Knock on door]

Mimi: Philip. Thank God you could come. It's Shawn and Belle. Unless we do something, I'm afraid their relationship is over.

Kate: And to think this is the mother of my grandson, and this is her mother. Hardly ideal role models.

Lucas: You know what? Sami is a great mother. Marlena, on the other hand, I --

Kate: Is a possible serial killer? And her daughter is fast becoming as unhinged as she is? You know, the only good part about this is you can use all of it to finally get sole custody of will.

Lucas: We've been over this, haven't we?

Kate: Yes, but apparently, it hasn't sunk in, because if Marlena is capable of murdering all of these people, what is to stop Sami from suddenly snapping and doing the same thing to you and to will?

Lucas: That's ridiculous. That is so ridiculous. Say what you want about Sami, but she is not capable of murder.

Kate: Oh, really?

Lucas: No.

Kate: Well, I thought the same thing about her mother.

Lucas: Nothing has been proven, all right?

Kate: Yes.

Lucas: You can say whatever you want.

Kate: But when it is, believe me, it won't be a moment before Sami is -- is completely undone, and I will not -- I will not let her take my son or my grandson down with her.

Sami: In the space of one year, I have lost Brandon, my grandmother, and my father, and now I'm going to lose my mom, too.

Jansen: Behold the cross of the lord.

Marlena: Aah! Aah!

John: Doc. You all right?

Bo: What the hell's going on here?

Hope: Oh, my God. Is it possible? Could Marlena really... Be possessed again? [Gasps] my God, did you feel that? It just got freezing cold in here.

[Metal rattling]

Marlena: [Mumbling]

John: It's happening, isn't it, Tim? The evil's returned, right?

Jansen: It's too soon to say. I only know that if it has...

John: God help us all.

Sami: Will... Maybe Kate and Lucas are right. Maybe -- maybe you are better without me in your life.

Lucas: You know what? I am not going to use this tragedy to kick Sami while she's down. I won't do it.

Kate: Oh, come on, Lucas. Reality check -- she'd do it to you in a heartbeat. In fact, she already has.

Lucas: Oh, I see. So this is about revenge, right? Right? I should do unto Sami as she's done unto me. That makes it right.

Kate: No, no. What it's about is that Sami's life is spiralling out of control. Her father's gone. Her mother's on the way to death row. There is no one left to bail her out.

Lucas: Yes, there is. She has us.

Kate: Excuse me? "Us," as in you and me?

Lucas: Yes, that's right. We have to help her get through this.

Kate: God, Lucas, why the hell would I help her?

Lucas: Because you promised Roman you would.

Kate: Yes, I -- I did promise Roman that I would.

Lucas: Yeah, you did. What, did you lie about that? You didn't mean it? You lied to your husband on your wedding day... The day he died?

John: Come on, let's do it, Tim. Let's get this over with. What, is there a problem?

Jansen: I think it best at this point for the others to leave.

Bo: With all due respect, father, I'm not going anywhere.

Hope: She's still in police custody.

Bo: We have a vested interest in the outcomes of these... Proceedings.

Belle: I'm not going anywhere. I won't leave my mom.

John: Come on, Tim. We're wasting time. Let's get on with it.

Bo: As far as I'm concerned, this whole thing is a waste of time.

Hope: Bo. I know you're sceptical, but it's a fact that Marlena was possessed once before, and we need to know if it's happened again before any more lives are lost.

Jansen: [Speaking Latin ]

John: Doc? Doc?

Jansen: Stay away from her.

John: What's going on?

Jansen: I feel an inner conflict.

[Speaking Latin]

Jansen: Amen.

Hope: [Gasps]

John: Marlena, can you hear me?

Jansen: I said stay back.

Deep voice: Hello... Priest. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Whoo! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Bonnie: My liquor license by opening night. How could that be possible when I just got turned down?

Rex: It's possible because there are ways around the law, Mrs. Lockhart.

Bonnie: Ha! You don't have to tell me. I -- ahem. It's just I was hoping to go legit with this thing.

Rex: I mean, there -- there are legit ways.

Bonnie: Name one.

Rex: Simple. All you have to do is incorporate. Appoint someone CEO besides yourself, and that person, assuming they don't have a criminal past, can apply for a liquor license.

Bonnie: My Mimi was right. You are a genius. Oh, I could just kiss you if it wasn't too jerry Springer.

Rex: Well, I figured it's a good idea for you to incorporate anyways, you know, what with taxes and payrolls and such. I think you should run this by Mickey.

Bonnie: Mickey. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right. He's my attorney. But then I'd have to tell him I got turned down for the license.

Rex: Yeah? So?

Bonnie: So I can't do that.

Rex: Why not?

Bonnie: Because then he'd -- oh, he'd find out about my checkered past.

Rex: What checkered past? Oh, come on, Mrs. Lockhart. It can't be that bad. It's not like you were put away or anything. Were you?

Bonnie: No. Well, not exactly.

Man: Excuse me. I have a letter here for a Mr. Mickey Horton, esquire.

Bonnie: Oh, I'll take that. I mean, I'll -- I'll sign for it, and I'll make sure he gets it. There you go. Thank you.

Man: Thank you.

Bonnie: Great.

Bonnie: Oh, oh, oh, yeah. Of course. So sorry. Ha ha ha ha. Just not quite used to all this boss man stuff. Um... You know, damn, all I have is a $20. Rex, do you mind? Could you help the guy out here? Thanks. Please.

Rex: Uh, yeah, I -- ha ha. I think I've -- I think I've got something. There you go.

Man: Oh, gee. A whole dollar. Thanks.

Bonnie: [Gasps]

rex: What is it?

Bonnie: It's from that Mr. Morse from the Salem liquor bureau. He must have sent Mickey a letter telling him I got turned down for my license. Rex, what am I going to do?

Philip: Is Belle okay?

Mimi: No. Shawn broke the news to her after the funeral that he's leaving Salem.

Philip: He's leaving? For how long?

Mimi: Who knows? He said something about maybe joining the merchant marine.

Philip: He's taking off and abandoning her at a time like this because she told one lie?

Mimi: Yeah, he blames her for his great-grandmother's death.

Philip: That's ridiculous. That guy's nuts. Doesn't he know how lucky he is to have her, right? Doesn't he know what a big mistake he's making?

Mimi: I couldn't agree more, which is why I called you over here. I've got a plan.

Philip: Plan?

Mimi: Yeah, I'll talk to Shawn, try to convince him to stay in Salem and work things out with Belle while you talk to her.

Philip: And tell her what?

Mimi: To not give up on Shawn, to fight for their love. If anyone can talk Belle into anything, it's you. So will you do it? Will you help save Shawn and Belle's relationship?

Kate: Lucas, you know how impossible it's been for me to keep my promise to Roman.

Lucas: Yeah, I know. But Roman wouldn't have asked you to make that promise if it wasn't important to him. Come on, mom, it's -- it's almost like Roman knew that Sami was going to need our help. Like he had some sixth sense about what was going to happen between him and Marlena.

Kate: Lucas, how can I help someone who's hell-bent on destroying me and everyone else around her?

Lucas: Mom, I think the person she's most hell-bent on destroying is herself. That's why we gotta help her. Come on, just help me help her.

Kate: Oh, Lucas, Lucas...

Lucas: Do that for me. Then do it for will. It's your grandson's mother.

Kate: I --

Lucas: What about Roman? Mom, do it for Roman. He'd be so proud of you if you kept your promise, even though it wasn't that easy --

Kate: All right, all right. All right. For Roman's sake. I don't know what you expect me to do.

Lucas: All we have to do is check on her, all right? Make sure she knows that we're here for her. Come on.

[Knocks on door]

Sami: Go away.

Lucas: Sami, open up. It's Lucas.

Sami: I said, go away.

Lucas: I'm not going anywhere until you open this door. I mean it.

[Knock on door]

Lucas: Come on, Sami.

[Knock knock knock]

Sami: Coming. Damn you, Lucas. What do you want? And what is she doing here? Shouldn't she be out seducing John to celebrate their Victory?

Kate: Sami, don't.

Sami: Don't what? It was your plan all along, wasn't it? You -- you got my dad to marry you so that -- so that John could kill him and then frame my mother for it.

Kate: This is just great, because now she's making less sense than usual.

Lucas: Yeah, you're right. [Sniffs] what's that smell, huh?

Sami: What smell?

Lucas: I smell booze. I smell alcohol. What are you doing? You drinking?

Sami: It's one drink, Lucas.

Lucas: One drink?

Sami: Let me go!

Lucas: You're using this as an escape. Come on, Sami! This is not the way you deal with your problems. Haven't you learned anything from me, huh?

Sami: None of your business.

Lucas: It is, too, my business. Stop this! Sami! Look at this! Look what the hell you did to my suit!

Sami: It's all your fault, Lucas!

Lucas: Control yourself. Relax!

Sami: Get out, Lucas! Get out! Get out of here!

Lucas: Sami, enough!

Sami: Lucas, get out!

Lucas: Sami, relax!

Will: Stop it! Stop fighting!

Lucas: Sami, enough. Enough. Stop it.

Deep voice: Aah! Aah!

Belle: My God! What's happening to her?

Deep voice: [Screaming ]

Jansen: [Speaking Latin ]

Belle: Mom! Mom! Somebody help her! Dad!

Marlena: Belle. Belle. Is that you? Belle, help me. Oh, sweet baby girl, help me. Make them stop hurting me. Belle, hurry.

Belle: Mommy? It's okay, mom. I'm here. I'm going to help you. I won't let anyone hurt you. It's okay.

Marlena: Belle, they won't hurt me -- not anymore. They won't now, 'cause I -- I'm going back to hell.

Belle: [Gasps]

deep voice: And you're going with me.

Shawn-D: Belle!

Bo: Let her go now.

Jansen: [Speaking Latin ]

deep voice: [Screaming]

Shawn-D: You let go or I'll kill you myself!

Hope: Shawn, get back!

Deep voice: You wanted me, priest -- you've got it! She's going to die! Aah!

John: Marlena, back! Don't do this. It's not you, and you know it. You would never hurt our daughter, your own flesh and blood. Our daughter is more precious to you than anything in this world. Look inside yourself. Look inside your heart. Fight the force that's making you do this -- now!

Jansen: [Speaks Latin] on the count of 3 -- 1, 2, 3!

Deep voice: Aah!

Jansen: The evil is gone.

John: And so is she.

Bonnie: What Mickey Horton doesn't know won't hurt him.

Rex: Mrs. Lockhart, wait. You can't do that.

Bonnie: Why not?

Rex: First of all, mail tampering is a federal offence. And secondly, like I said, Mickey will eventually find out. He still owns the place.

Bonnie: But he can't find out. He is practically convinced that I'm an angel sent straight from heaven. Wait a minute. What if you were my front man? Other than being falsely accused for murder, you don't have a criminal record, right?

Rex: No, but --

Bonnie: So how about it, Rexie -- a little favour for your future mother-in-law?

Rex: If there is one thing I learned from the Dimera’s, it's that you don't do business with family.

Bonnie: We're not family... Yet.

Rex: I'm telling you, the answer is right in front of you.

Bonnie: Would you make up your mind? First you tell me you can't help me. Then you tell me you can. I don't get it.

Rex: I'm talking about Mickey. If you incorporate Alice's and make Mickey CEO, you'll have your liquor license in no time.

Bonnie: Except I'd have to tell him about my past.

Rex: If I know Mickey, he'll respect you even more for being honest. Trust me.

Bonnie: [Thinking] hmm. Maybe boy genius has something here at that. Mickey's a sucker for a hard-luck story. If I could pull this off, if I could get Mickey to sign off on that liquor license... Oh, who knows? Maybe a marriage license is next.

Rex: Just as I thought. Mickey was the sole licensee for Tuscany, not Maggie.

Bonnie: Well, that's because Maggie was a drunk. I mean, God rest her soul. She probably couldn't trust herself with the hooch.

Rex: Well, if he held a liquor license for Maggie --

Bonnie: [Gasps] he could hold one for me. Oh, my gosh, that's brilliant. Problem is, how do I ask him?

Mickey: Ask me what?

Bonnie: Mickey. Ha ha.

Mimi: I can't believe you even have to think about this. Will you or won't you help me get Belle and Shawn back together?

Philip: Meems, I think that just for once, we should stay out of their love life. I mean, if the two of them can't figure this out on their own, then I think --

Mimi: Of course they can work it out. They love each other. But sometimes, when people are stubborn -- Shawn -- they need a little push.

Philip: Still, I don't think there's any --

Mimi: Come on, Philip. You know those two belong together, so as their friends, we have to make sure they don't blow it and do something they'll both regret for the rest of their lives. You wouldn't want that, would you?

Philip: Of course not. I'd do anything to keep Belle happy.

Mimi: Good. So I'll talk to him, and you talk to her, help her figure out a way to make things right with Shawn.

Philip: I still don't see how I'm going to do that, though, Meems. It seems to me Shawn's already made up his mind.

Mimi: Well, I'll do whatever I have to to change it -- if necessary, perform a lobotomy. So do we have a deal?

Philip: Yes, Meems, I'll -- I will do what I can, okay?

Mimi: Good. So I'm going to get to it, find Shawn, and start to work on him right now.

Philip: I'm sorry, Meems. Some deals are meant to be broken.

Lucas: Get a hold of yourself.

Kate: Sami, for gosh sakes, Sami, calm down.

Will: Stop it! Just stop fighting!

Sami: Get off of me! Everybody, please, just leave me alone! [Sobbing]

will: Mom! Mom, what happened? Are you okay? Mom.

Lucas: Come here, come here. Your mom's all right, okay? She's just upset. We have to let her calm down, okay?

Will: I smell alcohol. Dad, have you been drinking? Is that what happened?

Lucas: No.

Kate: Sweetie, no. Your mother was drinking, and she just spilled it all over your dad.

Will: Oh, mom's drinking, too?

Lucas: No, no. Come here. Stop it. Look at me, okay? Buddy, your mom's going through a bad time right now. Now, you know about your grandma Marlena, right? Well, your -- your mom is in horrible shock about all these accusations being made against her mother. That's why I want you to go to grandpa Shawn's tonight, okay?

Will: But, dad --

Lucas: No, don't argue with me. It's for your own good. I'll take care of your mom. Just get your things together, okay?

Will: Okay, I'll go.

Lucas: All right. The backpack and some -- some clothes, a couple toys, all right?

Will: All right.

Lucas: What are you doing? Who are you calling?

Kate: If you're not going to do anything about Sami, I am. I'm calling child protective services because she's not a fit mother.

Lucas: You will do no such thing.

Kate: Lucas --

Lucas: Will needs his mother, and Sami needs will. Don't do this.

Kate: I-I know that, but you know something? She's in no condition to take care of him.

Lucas: No, she's not. That's why I'm sending him to grandpa Shawn's tonight, till she's feeling better, and you are taking him.

Kate: Ha ha.

Lucas: Thank you. Good, good, you're all ready. Got everything?

Will: Yeah.

Lucas: All right.

Will: Is mom still in the bathroom?

Lucas: Yeah, buddy, she is, but I'm going to call you when she's feeling better, all right? I promise, I'm going to take care of everything.

Kate: Okay, sweetie, come on, let's go.

Will: Bye, dad.

Lucas: Bye-bye.

Will: Take care of mom.

Lucas: I will. I love you. I love you so much. And your mom loves you, too, all right?

Will: I love you guys, too. Tell her.

Lucas: I will. Absolutely, I will.

Kate: I'll talk to you later. Come on, sweetie.

Lucas: Thanks, mom.

Kate: Just try to remember what I said to you.

Lucas: Sami, it's Lucas. My mom and will are gone. It's just you and me. I think it's time we had a little talk.

Belle: Dad, is mom -- is she...

John: No, no. She's fine, sweetheart. She just passed out. How are you? Are you okay, baby?

Belle: No. Is she possessed?

Jansen: Not in the way you think.

Hope: What are you talking about?

Jansen: In order to determine whether Marlena was, in fact, possessed, I was forced to resort to an invocation.

Shawn-D: What's that?

John: You invited those evil forces into her body, Tim?

Jansen: We had no choice.

Bo: Father, please, just tell us what happened here.

Jansen: An invocation entails offering up a vessel -- in this case, Marlena -- as a host. Had she been possessed, the new evil force would have challenged the one already present inside her, thus arousing it from its dormant state.

Hope: So we would have known for sure at that point if she was actually possessed.

John: Oh, yeah, not only would we have known, but those warring entities could have killed her.

Jansen: Because Marlena had been possessed before, I knew she stood a strong chance of surviving any conflict.

Shawn-D: So what about this visitor that showed up? How can we be sure that it's gone?

Jansen: After I invited the entity in, I then performed the exorcism. The dark force, though not pleased, is most definitely gone.

John: You took a hell of a chance with my wife's life.

Jansen: I'm sorry, John. There was no other way. But you can rest assured, Marlena is out of danger. I saw to it that the portal to her soul was properly cleansed and closed.

Hope: Are you saying what I think you're saying? She's not...

Jansen: She's not, nor was she, possessed.

John: Hey, sweetheart.

Marlena: John?

John: Did you hear?

Marlena: What happened?

John: You're -- you're okay. The news is, is that you -- you're not possessed, never were, and...

Marlena: John, does that -- does that mean if I'm -- if I'm not possessed --

Bo: If you're not possessed, that means you're responsible for nine murders.

Marlena: No.

Bo: Yes.

Marlena: No. I-I couldn't do that.

John: Bo, just get the hell away from her, will you? She's been through enough already. Now, I'm going to take her back to her room and get some rest.

Bo: You're not taking her anywhere. If she's strong enough to survive a visitor from hell, she's strong enough to survive a little trip downtown to be booked and processed.

John: Don't do this, Bo.

Bo: I've got no choice.

Belle: Shawn, do something.

Shawn-D: Belle, he's just doing his job.

Hope: Bo, please don't. For God's sake, show some mercy. This is Marlena.

Bo: Did she show any mercy when she butchered your father or my mother or brother or Mrs. H.? No. Why should any of us show her mercy? Marlena Evans Black, you're under arrest for the murder of Alice Horton, Doug Williams, Anthony Dimera, Roman Brady, Cassie Dimera, Caroline Brady, Maggie Horton, Jack Deveraux, and Abe Carver.

Belle: No.

Bo: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.

Bonnie: Mickey, what a nice surprise. I didn't know you were coming back.

Mickey: Well, we didn't have a chance to chat much earlier, and I thought I'd just check in and see how you were doing. Are you excited about the opening?

Bonnie: Oh, yes, yeah. Oh, yes, very excited. Ha ha ha. Rex, would you mind emptying some of those boxes in the kitchen?

Rex: Already done, Mrs. Lockhart... But I think we got another shipment today, so I'll take care of it.

Bonnie: Thank you.

Rex: All right.

Bonnie: Thank you. Oh, I think that boy's going to work out just fine, don't you?

Mickey: Well, you certainly seem to have everything under control, so what did you want to ask me?

Bonnie: Oh. Mickey...

Mickey: Hmm?

Bonnie: Come and have a sit. I-I -- ay-yi-yi. I want to talk to you about something.

Mickey: Well, it sounds serious.

Bonnie: It is. Um... There might be a slight problem with the opening of Alice's.

Mickey: What do you mean? What -- what sort of problem?

Bonnie: This.

Mickey: What's this?

Bonnie: It's from Mr. Morse at the state liquor bureau.

Mickey: What in the world would he possibly want with me?  Oh. I see what you mean about a problem.

Bonnie: I can explain.

Mickey: Bonnie, what could you possibly have done that would have you be denied a liquor license?

Bonnie: It was a long time ago, okay? I-I did something very foolish.

Mickey: What?

Bonnie: I'm so embarrassed. I-I never would have dreamed of telling anyone this, but... I feel I can trust you.

Mickey: Of course you can trust me. What happened?

Bonnie: When I first started cleaning houses, I didn't have that many clients. Truth be told, I was flat broke, and my lazy husband, he wasn't good for anything, and it was up to me to put food on the table for my kids.

Mickey: It must have been very difficult.

Bonnie: Yeah. At one point, we didn't have a dime to our names. My babies -- they were so hungry.

Mickey: Oh, Bonnie. Come on.

Bonnie: I -- out of sheer desperation, I went to the corner store on 4th and Desoto, and I took a loaf of bread and some milk for my babies.

Mickey: Oh, God.

Bonnie: I left an I.O.U., but they caught me red-handed, and they persecuted and prosecuted me to the full extent of the law.

Mickey: Oh, Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie.

Bonnie: I got probation.

Mickey: So that's why you were denied a liquor license. You have a --

Bonnie: A record.

Mickey: Yeah.

Bonnie: After all these years, one stupid mistake comes back to bite me in -- I mean, to haunt me. Oh, Mickey, I so wanted to make a go of this place.

Mickey: Well... There must be some solution.

Bonnie: Actually, there is one thing that -- that might save the day.

Mickey: What would that be?

Bonnie: If you agree to keep your name on the liquor license. Of course, I'd understand if you didn't want to, 'cause, gosh, you've done so much for me already.

Mickey: Bonnie, Bonnie, why wouldn't I help you? That's what I'm here for.

Bonnie: Really, Mickey?

Mickey: Yeah.

Bonnie: Thank you. Oh, thank you!

Mickey: [Grunts]

[knock on door]

Mimi: Shawn, you got my page.

Shawn-D: What's with the 911? Is it Belle? Is she here?

Mimi: No. I haven't seen her. Why?

Shawn-D: She ran out on me at the hospital. I tried to stop her, but...

Mimi: You didn't have another argument.

Shawn-D: No, it's worse than that, actually. Much worse.

Mimi: What happened?

Shawn-D: Well, I don't even know where to start. Long story short, Marlena's not possessed, and my dad's arresting and booking her for all the serial killings.

Mimi: Oh, my God. Belle must be freaking out. Were you with her when all this happened?

Shawn-D: Yeah, yeah.

Mimi: Oh, God. Please tell me you made up with her.

Shawn-D: No, I-I didn't.

Mimi: Oh, Shawn.

Shawn-D: Listen, you know what, Mimi? I don't even want to talk about it, okay? I just -- I want to make sure that she's all right.

Mimi: How could she possibly be all right? This is not the time to turn your back on her, Shawn.

Belle: [Sighs] Shawn, what's happening? Why is everything falling apart? The radio we used to dance to. But what's this doing up here?

Edwin McCain: The strands in your eyes that colour them wonder...

Shawn-D: Mimi, please, I just -- I don't want to get into it right now, okay?

Mimi: So... You're still planning on running away.

Shawn-D: I'm not running away. I just -- I need time to think.

Mimi: The only thing you need to think about right now is what's at stake here, Shawn. If you really do this, if you leave Salem and let Belle go, you may regret it for the rest of your life.

Edwin McCain: I'll hang from your lips instead of the gallows of heartache that hang from above

Shawn-D: Belle.

Mimi: Nice job, Philip. Let's hope this does the trick.

Edwin McCain: I'll be better when I'm older I'll be the greatest...

Belle: It's you.

Mickey: [Groans]

Bonnie: Oh, gosh. Oh, Mickey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to --

Mickey: That's all right. You -- y-you just got excited. We both did.

Bonnie: That's me. I act first and then think later. Oh, Mickey, you have no idea how happy you've made me -- giving me the opportunity to run this place. I just want to do you proud -- you and your mama both.

Mickey: Of course you will. Now, Bonnie, what's wrong? What's wrong? Hey, hey, hey, hey, what?

Bonnie: I was just thinking about... All my crazy moneymaking schemes -- I mean, ventures -- over the years. Everything from selling dish detergent to raising alpacas -- you name it, I did it. All in the hopes that, one day, I would be able to open a place like this. And now... Because of you, because of your faith in me, it's finally happening. My dream is a reality. Oh, thank you, Mickey.

Mickey: Oh, Bonnie, you -- you don't have to --

Bonnie: Shh, shh, shh, shh.

[Romantic music plays]

Bonnie: May I have this dance?

Mickey: Well, sure, ma'am, why not?

Bonnie: Oh.

Mickey: [Chuckles]

Woman: Full of trouble and despair I feel so much better knowing you are there

[cellular phone rings ]

rex: Hello.

Mimi: Hey, babe, it's me.

Rex: Hey, how's it going with Shawn and Belle? Did you get them back together?

Mimi: I'm not sure yet, but I know Belle found the boom box Philip planted up on the roof, all cued up to their song.

Rex: And Shawn?

Mimi: As far as I know, he's with her right now, hopefully holding her in his arms and telling her what an idiot he was.

Philip: Shh, it's okay, it's okay.

Belle: No, Philip, it's not okay. My mom is going to go to prison for murdering all those people, and now Shawn is leaving me when I need him the most. Why doesn't he know how much I love him?

Philip: Belle, it's going to be okay, I promise.

Shawn-D: I guess I didn't need to worry about you guys.

Belle: Shawn --

Shawn-D: No, really, really, I'm sorry I interrupted.

Belle: Shawn, wait!

Sami: How many times do I have to tell you to get out? Get out and leave me alone.

Lucas: I'm not going anywhere, not with you like this.

Sami: Well, I'd ask you to join me for a drink, but --

Lucas: You know what? That is not funny. Look what happened to me when I was drinking. I almost lost everything, including my life. It's not a game.

Sami: Give me the bottle, Lucas. I'm having a drink, and you can't stop me.

Lucas: Yeah, you wanna bet?

Sami: Damn you! Why are you doing this?

Lucas: Because I care about you, that's why!

Sami: Oh, give me a break. You don't care about me. You just want to get custody of our son.

Lucas: What? No, Sami, that's not true. I don't.

Sami: The hell it isn't. Will is the only good thing I have in my whole pathetic life. You know, you're probably right. Just take him. Take him away from me. Do it because I ruin everything I touch, anyway, right?

Lucas: Sami, come on, that's not true. I don't want to take will away from you.

Sami: And then I won't have any responsibilities, and no one will care if I self-destruct, and I can just have the bottle -- just give it to me, Lucas.

Lucas: Stop it. No, Sami, you're hysterical! Stop it! Get a hold of yourself!

Sami: I hate you! I hate you! I hate Kate! I hate my whole life, Lucas!

Lucas: You know what? I'm sorry I have to do this!

Man: Stop! Police!

Lucas: Wait -- wait a minute! Whoa, where'd you come from? Wait a minute! What are you doing?

Man #2: Got a call from your neighbour about a domestic disturbance.

Lucas: Wait a minute. No, no, I can explain this. Come on, man!

Man: Tell it to the judge, buddy. We saw the whole thing.

Man #2: You're under arrest for assault and battery.

John: Bo, wait.

Bo: John, I told you --

John: Relax. All I want is a moment alone with my wife before you take her away.

Hope: Of course.

Bo: Make it quick.

Marlena: I'm so scared. I'm so scared.

John: Listen, don't you worry, sweetheart. Not only am I going to get you out of here, but I will move heaven and earth to prove that you are innocent.

Marlena: Oh, John, what if I'm not?

Bo: It's time. In fact, it's long past due. Let's go.

“Next on Days Of Our Lives”

Belle: What are you doing?

Shawn-D: Belle, get out of here right now!

Nicole: Just get the job done today, or the deal's off.

Woman: You pushed me!

Marlena: No, I didn't push you! Matron!

Bo: A fight broke out in the holding pen. Someone was stabbed. She's dead.

John: Oh, my God.
