Jennifer: Patrick, I don't understand. How can I save this baby?
Patrick: Jennifer, I want you to do me a favour. Hold this coin in the palm of your hand and focus.
Lexie: I don't believe it.
Jennifer: What, Lexie? What is it? What's wrong?
Lexie: Jennifer, that's just it. Nothing's wrong.
Jennifer: Lexie, are you telling me this baby's okay?
Lexie: This is nothing short of amazing, Jennifer. I mean, I don't know how to explain it, except... the magnesium sulphate must've finally kicked in.
Jennifer: Oh, my gosh, Lexie. I think that I can explain it. It was Patrick. Ha ha ha. Patrick, thank you. Thank you so much.
Patrick: Hey, hey, hey. It was all you. And...maybe a little Jack.
Jennifer: Jack? You came back to me?
Sami: Make love to me, Lucas.
Lucas: I thought you'd never ask.
Bonnie: Okay, ready? Step down. Step down. Down... one more. One more... I've gotcha, I've gotcha. Come on over here. Are you ready for your big surprise?
Mickey: Oh, my God. It's perfect.
Bonnie: Ha ha ha!
Julie: Ahem! How... can you?
Mimi: I told Belle to go after Shawn.
Mimi: Don't know yet. Cross your fingers. Hopefully, they're making up this very minute. And if they're lucky, no one or nothing will ever come between them again.
Philip: I wouldn't be so sure about that.
Shawn-D: I'm sorry, Belle. Don't think I'll be able to ever forgive you.
Belle: Don't you love me anymore?
Bo: All right, man, I'll see you there.
Hope: I can't believe that's all John told you. If he knows who the killer is, and it's not marlena, then how in the world did he figure it out? And why wouldn't he tell you who he's bringing in, anyway?
Bo: I don't know what the hell he thinks he's up to. He's not a police officer. He doesn't have proper authority. He should've let us handle this.
Hope: Bo. He's the one who has everything to lose if his wife is guilty.
Bo: I don't really care. It's very important we go by the book, we do this exactly right.
Hope: I don't believe you. You sound just like your brother and Abe. Now, when was the last time Bo Brady ever went by the book?
Bo: Don't get me wrong. Whether it's marlena or not, I will do whatever it takes to make sure this monster never kills again. I will make sure she goes to the death chamber.
John: Roman mentioned you to me several times, but never as a suspect. Then again, who would ever think that you would turn out to be the murderer? Once I saw your face, it made perfect sense. You had motive, means, opportunity... let me tell you something, honey. Your killing days are over.
Julie: Uncle Mickey, the wattage alone --
Mickey: Now, listen, calm down, Julie.
Julie: I'm sorry, I can’t. Not when you are about to make such a huge mistake.
Mickey: Bonnie, would you, uh...
Bonnie: Oh! Of course. I'll be inside.
Mickey: All right.
Julie: I think it's a lovely gesture to name the restaurant after grandma, and Maggie would certainly have approved, but it's the style of the whole thing I disagree with. This is no way to honour grandma, let alone the old restaurant that Maggie worked so hard to turn into an elegant establishment. I-I am very worried about bonnie being allowed to run the whole thing. I think it's going to be a disaster and wind up being an insult to everybody's memory.
Mickey: Now, just hold on, Julie. I won't allow you to talk about bonnie like that.
Mimi: Philip, you brought Belle down here so she could talk to Shawn. Please don't act like there's no chance it's going to work now.
Philip: Look, meems, I've been with Belle tonight, and I know how badly she wants to work things out with Shawn. But I also know Shawn, and he doesn't forgive very easily. I mean, as far as he's concerned, Belle's lie cost his great-grandmother her life. Mrs. Horton meant the world to him. If it turns out marlena is the killer, he's going to hold Belle responsible.
Mimi: We need to have a... you know, what do you call it when you sit someone down and...
Mimi: Yeah, that.
Philip: I'm here for Belle, and I hope they work things out. I do. But if he can't forgive her, then she is better off without him.
Mimi: How can you say that? If Belle and Shawn can't survive, is there any hope for the rest of us?
Philip: Of course there is.
Belle: I'm sorry, I didn't realize it was such a hard question.
Shawn-D: Yes, of course I love you with all my heart. No... stop.
Belle: Shawn, can't you see that this is killing me, too? I am so, so sorry that I lied to you. But if you still love me, then why are you acting like you're never going to be able to forgive me?
Shawn-D: Why are you acting like this is so simple? Do you not remember the way you treated me when you found out that I lied to you about Jan?
Belle: Are you saying this is some kind of payback?
Shawn-D: No, it is nothing like that. Don't you remember what you said for months afterwards, that you weren't sure you were going to ever be able to trust me again? I didn't think we were ever going to be able to get past that because no matter how many times I told you that I was sorry, it never took away the fact what I had done to you. So what did we d from that point on? We promised each other that we would always tell each other the truth, no matter what. And we were able to build trust again. At least I thought we were. Now I look at -- you know -- you know what? I-I can't even look at you because every time I do, I think that if you hadn't lied, two people that I love would still be in my life. You and gran.
Belle: So you're saying there's no way I can change your mind, is that it?
Jennifer: Jack? Is that you?
Patrick: I'm sorry, Jennifer. I didn't mean to scare you.
Jennifer: Hi. Hi, Patrick.
Patrick: I just -- I came back into the kitchen to grab one of Abby’s cupcakes, and I noticed your light was still on so I stuck my head in and saw you were asleep. I covered you with a blanket and, uh, I turned off the light.
Jennifer: I was -- I was dreaming, and I --
Patrick: And you thought Jack came back to you. He did. You've been through so much today. You lost your grandmother, not to mention nearly losing your baby. It's only natural that you'd believe your guardian angel was here with you.
Jennifer: Are you my guardian angel?
Lucas: I love you, Samantha.
Sami: I am so glad I finally realized you are the only man I ever really loved.
Sami: It's you. Lucas, it's always been you.
Sami: [Panting] Hello?
Hope: Sami, it's hope. I'm so sorry to call you so late, but --
Sami: Oh, my God. Aunt hope, what's wrong?
Hope: I have an update on John.
Sami: Oh, my God, you found proof that he's the killer. I knew it! Okay, well, when can I come down and give you a statement? I want everything I saw tonight on the record. I want John arrested and put on death row.
Hope: Sami! Sami, listen to me!
Sami: I'm listening.
Hope: John has reason to believe that your mother is innocent, and that he's found the real killer. He's bringing her in as we speak.
John: You almost got away with it. In fact, marlena even confessed to your crimes.
Marlena: You're right. I killed Alice... and the others.
John: Now I know why marlena confessed to me at the penthouse. She must have been overreacting to my accusation, 'cause there's no way in hell my wife could be a cold-blooded murderer. And to think you almost got away with it.
Mickey: I can appreciate your wanting to help me, Julie, but I know what I'm doing.
Julie: Oh, I'm not so sure, uncle Mickey. I think Maggie would be doing back flips in her grave if she could see the way bonnie has defaced the restaurant she worked so hard to create. And then to put Alice’s name on it -- is this supposed to be some seal of approval? Do you really think this is what they would have wanted?
Mickey: How would I know what they wanted, Julie? It's what I want. And I know they would want me to be happy. And I wish you could find it in your heart to accept that.
Bonnie: Yes! Bonnie 13, Julie zip.
Philip: Meems, just because Shawn and Belle are having problems does not mean the rest of us are doomed, okay? If anything, we should learn from their mistakes, don't you think?
Bonnie: Rex, you mind not canoodling with the boss' daughter and get back to work?
Mimi: Rex isn't your slave. He's a volunteer. And if you want to order people around --
Rex: It's okay, Mimi. I'm happy to help. I'll be right back.
Mimi: Excuse me. I'd like to talk to my mom alone.
Mimi: I have really had it with the way you're treating rex.
Bonnie: He doesn't mind. You heard him. All right, he's cute, and he's nice. But Shawn Brady -- now there's a catch. Just picture it if you ended up with Shawn and Belle ended up with Philip.
Mimi: Mom, it doesn't matter how many times you say that. You're not convincing me.
Bonnie: Mimi, if you'd just look at the big --
Mimi: Mom, if I went after Shawn, and it turned out his grandfathers didn't leave him an inheritance, would you want me to drop him, too?
Bonnie: See, Mimi, now you're thinking about it!
Mimi: No, I'm not! You spend enough energy screwing up your own relationships, don't you? Why waste your time and skills on other people's?
Bonnie: I'm just trying to help here --
Mimi: No! Don't change the subject. You're chasing after Mickey Horton because you want his money. That's obvious to everybody in Salem by now.
Bonnie: Mickey doesn't think that.
Mimi: Well, he will. Look, mom, why don't you just cut your losses before you get hurt again? And before you embarrass me and Patrick and Connor and yourself any more than you already have.
Bonnie: That was cruel.
Mimi: Oh, God. Why -- why is it every time I make you look at the truth, you say I'm cruel? Please, mom. It's only a matter of time before this sweet old Mr. Horton realizes who the real bonnie Lockhart is.
Bonnie: Oh, don't you worry about it, meems. I'll take care of old man Horton. And while I'm at it, I'll make sure you end up with Shawn, too. And I know just how to do it.
Shawn-D: I wish I could forgive and forget, but it's not that easy.
Belle: You mean you don't love me enough to forgive me?
Shawn-D: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Do not blame this on me. You keep pushing me to tell you what the future is gonna bring. Well, I just don't know yet. Earlier tonight, yeah, I thought I did. I asked you to marry me. And the only thing I wanted to hear you say was "yes." But instead, you told me that you were lying to me again and again and again.
Belle: Shawn, what if my mom's innocent?
Shawn-D: You know, I pray that she is innocent, but you know what?
Belle: But what?
Shawn-D: At this point, that doesn't seem very likely, does it? And -- and you know what? I am really curious what other surprises you have for me down the line!
Belle: How can you say that? I have never lied to you about anything in my life -- never.
Shawn-D: Oh, and then what about tonight? Okay, we have your dad saying that your mother confessed, your mother saying that she didn't confess, sami saying that your dad pushed your mother out of the balcony, and now your dad of course is denying that, because of course he wouldn't do that, and your sister, she's a born liar!
Belle: What are you trying to say, Shawn? That dishonesty just runs in my family? You are not going to compare what I did to all the destructive lies Sami has told to have guys hold on to her -- people that didn't even love her.
Shawn-D: That is not what I was --
Belle: Shawn, I am not my sister! And I am not my father, and I am not my mother. I am exactly the same person that you have always known. The one you've always said that you loved. Shawn, where's your ring? Where's your purity ring? Did you t-- you've given up on us already, haven't you?
John: Yeah, we're almost to the hospital, lady, so here's a heads-up -- once we arrive, you are going to be arrested for the murders of Abraham carver, Jack Deveraux, Maggie Horton -- yeah, I'm gonna name 'em all! Caroline Brady, cassie dimera, Roman Brady, Tony dimera, Doug Williams, and Alice Horton. So many lives, but it's all over now, baby. 'Cause I'm gonna make sure that you never kill or harm anyone ever again, especially doc, because -- aah!
Patrick: Guardian angel, huh? Gee, I, uh, don't know if I can live up to that one.
Jennifer: Yeah, you saved my baby's life twice.
Patrick: No, you saved your baby with will and determination and love.
Jennifer: You know, this -- this life inside me is the last thing that Jack gave us.
Patrick: You need your rest, jen. I'm really sorry I woke you up, but you probably don't want to zonk out here on the couch.
Jennifer: No. In fact, I'm glad you woke me up, because Abby’s going to be home any minute from jo and Vern’s, and, you know, she will be wound up.
Patrick: Ha ha. Well, while you're waiting, why don't I make you a warm glass of milk with a dash of vanilla?
Jennifer: I-I can't believe you just said that. Jack would always make that for me when I couldn't sleep. How did you know that?
Patrick: Ha ha. It was a lucky guess, I swear. Nothing guardian angel about it. Not to mention my mother used to make it for me.
Jennifer: Bonnie? She made that for you?
Patrick: Ha ha. Yeah, yeah, I know. Probably the only thing besides a TV dinner that she knew how to make.
Jennifer: Look, I'm -- I apologize for Julie complaining about your mom. I really don't think that bonnie is a bad housekeeper.
Patrick: Come on.
Jennifer: No, really. I mean that. I mean, Julie is -- she's really sensitive these days.
Patrick: Well, who can blame her? I'm sure my mom is driving her crazy. Believe me, I understand. . I'll be right back, okay?
Abby: Hi, mom.
Jennifer: Hi. Did you have a good time?
Abby: Yeah. I beat grandpa Vern at video games.
Jennifer: Oh, great.
Abby: He's horrible. But he probably only plays it when I'm there. How are you feeling?
Jennifer: You know what, sweetie? I-I am fine. The baby and I are -- are really fine.
Patrick: [Thinking] I can't go through with this. There's no way I can hurt Jennifer and her family.
Hope: I just spoke to sami. She is freaking out.
Bo: Let me guess -- she still thinks John's the killer.
Hope: Yes, but she pretty much shut her mouth once I told her John was bringing in the real killer.
Bo: Does she understand that means he's innocent?
Hope: Well, hopefully. If John can prove that marlena is innocent, this would make things so much better for so many people, Bo.
Hope: I'm going to try to track down Shawn on his cell. Hopefully this is just the good news he and Belle need.
Bo: Yeah, you do that. I'll call the sitter.
Hope: There's something I need to do first, though.
Bo: What's that?
Hope: I love you.
Bo: I love you, too.
Lucas: You see, that's great news. You realize what that means?
Sami: Yes, it means that my mom is not guilty, but, of course, I never thought she was in the first place.
Lucas: So why don't you look happy?
Sami: Because I'm still worried that Celeste’s prediction is going to come true.
Lucas: That John's going to kill your mom.
Sami: Yes. I think he's going to do it.
Lucas: You know what, Sami? If she's not the killer, and John's not the killer, why would he hurt her? You know, maybe what Celeste was predicting was what happened tonight on the balcony. I mean, your mom was almost killed.
Sami: I saw John push my mom off that terrace, Lucas. Even if no one else will believe me, I'm telling you --
Lucas: Sami -- Sami --
Sami: Listen to me. John is involved with those killings.
Lucas: Let go of your conspiracy theory, all right? Give my mom and John the benefit of the doubt -- the same benefit you've been giving me. I mean, we've had our problems in the past, but we're working through them, right?
Sami: What makes you so sure?
Lucas: Well.. earlier, when I was sleeping --
Sami: Wait. Did you have the same dream I had?
Lucas: I don't know. Did you dream about this?
John: I'm sorry, sweetheart, but you're not going anywhere.
Julie: Is this what you want, uncle Mickey -- to take the loveliest place in town and... turn it into a truck stop?
Mickey: I know what you're thinking, Julie. You're thinking that I am allowing bonnie to -- to dictate my life, that I am so overwhelmed by my grief that I've lost possession of my faculties.
Julie: That's how I feel most of the time right now.
Mickey: Then surely you must realize that everything I do is to keep Maggie alive in my heart.
Julie: I don't get it at all. This place was Maggie. She chose every stick of furniture, every painting, bottle of wine -- it's all out the door. What is the matter? Couldn't you stand to see it the way it was when she was alive?
Mickey: I'm sure that's part of it. But I want you to think back to when I first met Maggie.
Julie: You had amnesia.
Julie: Um... you were wearing a belt buckle that said "M.H.," So you chose the name Marty Hansen.
Mickey: Good memory. You know where Maggie lived?
Julie: On her parents' farm.
Mickey: Mm-hmm. And when I was staying at the Simmons' farm, Maggie used to take me across the county line to a little bar that had music and dancing, and you remember that Maggie couldn't walk, so she had to use crutches, so I would -- I would lift her up and -- and we would slow dance. We would slow dance to... Conway twitty singing "it's only make-believe" and patsy cline, "I fall to pieces," and Charlie rich, "behind closed doors." All the great old country songs.
Julie: Oh, uncle Mickey, I had no idea.
Mickey: And long after we had -- we had opened Tuscany, some nights when it would close, we would put in a cd of classic country songs, and Marty Hansen and sweet Maggie Simmons were reborn. Oh. We'd dance all night long.
Julie: It must have been very romantic.
Mickey: Mm. Ha ha. You know, we used to -- we used to joke that someday, we would close Tuscany and open up a little place like that one in the country. People seemed to forget where Maggie came from. She was a simple farm girl.
Julie: But loved to wear beautiful clothes.
Mickey: Oh, yes, she did, but the Maggie Simmons that I knew and loved was country before country was even cool. So you can understand why I am allowing bonnie to run this place exactly as she's doing.
Julie: Well, I'm still your eldest niece.
Julie: And if bonnie harms a hair of your head, uncle Mickey, I personally am going to hog-tie her, smother her in barbecue sauce, and roast her.
Mickey: [Chuckles] Oh, Julie. Oh.
Bonnie: Well, don't you look like the tail end of bad luck. What's wrong, Philip?
Philip: Uh, bonnie, I'm worried about Belle. I mean, all the stuff with her mom being accused as a serial killer and -- not to mention she thinks she's lost Shawn for good, so...
Bonnie: Let me guess. You don't think Shawn’s treating her right, do you? Hmm. Well, the bar's not officially open, and our liquor license is pending, but...
Bonnie: How'd you like a little shot of something?
Philip: Hell yeah.
Bonnie: All right. You open that up, buddy, and I'll get the glasses.
Philip: Whoo. Pour it.
Bonnie: Kentucky's finest.
Philip: There you go. Keep going.
Bonnie: Okay. That's my boy. All righty now. Here's to you and I getting exactly what we want and deserve.
Belle: Where's your purity ring, Shawn? You know, I never thought our relationship would end like this.
Shawn-D: I still love you. I just need some time to sort through my feelings, that's all. Okay? In the meantime, you know, maybe you should --
Belle: No, no. As long as you say you still love me, then... I think you should keep it. You say you need some time, so take time, and, um... then if you decide that you never want to speak to me again, you can just put it in the mail or something.
Shawn-D: [Sighs] I wish this wasn't so hard. I -- I know you remember going to Puerto rico to get gran's ruby back. But when I was a kid... I always wanted to take care of gran the same way she took care of me. And at the time, I thought what we were doing was so important, and it meant a lot to gran, but... now it's just a rock. And I was not there for her when she needed me the most.
Belle: Because you were with me. You came by my place to make sure I was okay.
Shawn-D: 'Cause I couldn't stand it if anything ever happened to you. I just --
Belle: Can't stand the thought of my mom being responsible for killing all those people? Neither can I, Shawn. And I know that it's driving you crazy that... I still think my mom's innocent when you think she is so guilty. I just can't think my mom's a murderer.
[Cellular phone rings]
Shawn-D: Just hold on a second.
Hope: Hey, honey, it's mom. I've got some unbelievable news.
Shawn-D: Oh, my God. You have to be kidding.
John: Lucky for you my ride still works, woman. Otherwise I'd have to drag you back to Salem by your hair. All right, your first stop is going to be to see all the friends and family of your victims, and your last stop... it's going to be death row.
Bonnie: Here's to it.
Philip: Ah. Whoo. Bonnie, let me give you some money for these drinks.
Bonnie: Aah. [Gasps]
Philip: What are you doing?
Bonnie: Oh. I knew it. You're in love with her, aren't you?
Mickey: So... what do you think?
Julie: Graceland without the king?
Mickey: Ha ha ha ha. Come on, I'll give you a -- a personal tour.
Philip: I just said way too much. Give me that thing.
Bonnie: Oh, no, honey. Don't worry about it. Your secret's safe with me.
Bonnie: Just seems a crime to me that a hunk like you is all alone.
Philip: I can handle it.
Bonnie: Oh, I'm sure you can, especially with that little picture there. But we both know that ain't enough. Just like women, men get urges, too. Mm. Even the old ones. Ha ha ha. Honey, I think it's high time you got a piece of advice.
Philip: Bonnie, give me what you got.
Bonnie: Okay. Things ain't too rosy right now for Shawn and Belle, which means lady Belle could become a babe in flux.
Philip: Yeah, but she's not going to get over him just like that. I mean, the two of them could get back together in a day. And even if they don't, I-I can't go sweeping in like some kind of vulture, all right? She's going to be hurting, she's going to need time --
Bonnie: Honey, honey, if she's still able to cut her own meat, she's fair game. Ha ha ha ha. You just got to go for it. That's what I'm doing.
Mickey: Right here is the prize of Alice’s, huh?
Julie: Just like "urban cowboy."
Mickey: Exactly. You want to sit on it?
Bonnie: You're a marine, right?
Philip: Damn right.
Bonnie: You are the few and the proud, right?
Philip: Hell yeah.
Bonnie: Then you have got to go for it, seize the day, and if that means Belle, then you do go for it.
Philip: "Love is yours for the taking." You know what, bonnie? I'm going to go check on Belle.
Bonnie: That a boy! Ooh -- ha ha! Whoo-hoo! Whoo-hoo-hoo! Ha ha! That's all it took -- couple of shots of courage. I'm feeling a little courageous myself. And just like the marines, when there's a threat, you take out the enemy before it's too late.
Shawn-D: This is incredible.
Shawn-D: I don't -- I don't know. I-I don't -- your mother's innocent. John found out who the real murderer is, and he's bringing her in right now. My mom and dad -- they want us to meet them at the hospital, so...
Belle: Oh, my God. My mom's really innocent. That means she didn't kill anybody. Shawn, I'm not responsible for your grandmother dying. Oh, my God.
Shawn-D: I know, I know. Thank God. Thank God.
Lucas: Is that what you were dreaming about?
Sami: Yes. I mean no. I-I mean I don't remember. And -- and we can't think about it right now. Lucas, we have to get to the hospital.
Jennifer: Wow, that -- that's just right.
Patrick: Good. Then I won't inflict myself upon you any further. I'm off to bed.
Jennifer: Uh... I just want to thank you for being here.
Patrick: Good night.
Jennifer: Thank you for sending him, Jack.
Bonnie: Hey, cowgirl. Come on and take her for a test ride.
Mickey: Come on, Julie. Don't you want to see how this thing works?
Julie: You've got to be kidding.
Mickey: Come on. Where's your sense of adventure, huh?
Bonnie: That's right. Come on, try it. Let me help you out here.
Mickey: Okay, here we go. All right, now, hold on tight.
Bonnie: You ever ridden one of these critters before?
Bonnie: Well, are you on?
Julie: I think so.
Bonnie: Okay, then. Hold on tight. Ha ha ha ha. Mickey, why don't you do the honours?
Mickey: All right. Hold on.
Julie: Yes, I'm fine.
Mickey: All right, here we go.
Julie: Yes, I'd rather have your hands on the controls, uncle Mickey. Ha ha ha.
Julie: Wow. This isn't so bad.
Bonnie: Well, that's the bull-not-quite-awake speed. But you look like a natural cowgirl up there.
Mimi: Mom, are you sure that thing's safe enough for Mrs. Williams to ride? I thought it was out of order.
Mickey: I'm going to take this thing down a notch.
Bonnie: Ahem. Get ready for the ride of your life, bitch.
Mickey: Hey. I can't get the thing to slow down. What am I doing wrong, damn it?
Julie: Okay. I've had about enough now. Thank you.
Mickey: Oh -- oh, my God. Oh, no, no, no.
Julie: Uncle Mickey? That's it. You can stop now.
Sami: Uncle Bo, have you heard from John?
Bo: He should be here.
Shawn-D: Hey, where's John?
Hope: We don't know yet, honey.
Bo: He'll be here any second -- don't worry.
Bo: There he is. John?
John: I was right.
John: Marlena didn't murder our loved ones. This monster did.
Bo: What the hell?
Hope: Oh, my God.
Sami: Oh, my God.
Lucas: No way.
“Next on Days Of Our Lives”
Julie: Mimi, I have never approved of violence. That was before your mother --
Lucas: Sami, stop it.
Sami: John admitted that he practically railroaded my mother.
Shawn-D: Now that we know your mother isn't the killer, we can spend our life together.
Jan: I didn't think I'd have to go this far, but a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.
