Bo: Okay, thanks, man. Talk to you soon.

Hope: I just checked on Zack. He's fine. He's playing with all his toys.

Bo: Good. Tek checked out Mrs. H's phone records.

Hope: And?

Bo: It went down just like John said. Mrs. H called John's cell and talked for about a minute.

Hope: You know, why did gran call John, anyway? Why didn't she call me?

Bo: Actually, she did.

Hope: What?

Bo: She called you, left a message at the station.

Hope: What did she say?

Bo: You can hear for yourself. Tek called here, left a message on your machine.

Cazares' voice: Salem P.D. Cazares here.

Alice's voice: Oh, this is Alice Horton. I'd like to speak to my granddaughter please.

Cazares' voice: Detective Brady’s behind closed doors. Can I take a message?

Alice's voice: It's urgent that hope calls me right away.

Cazares' voice: "Call your grandmother." I've got it, ma'am. Have a good evening.

[Phone hangs up]

Belle: Shawn. Come on, hurry up. Okay. "Dear Shawn, I can't tell you how sorry I am. I'll just tell you how much I love you."

[Knock on door]

Belle: Shawn. Shawn, I'm so glad you came back.

Sami: Ow.

Will: Mom... I'm worried about you. Maybe you should've stayed at the hospital tonight.

Sami: Oh, sweetie, I'm okay. It's just some sore muscles from the accident. I'm fine, but thank you for worrying about me.

Will: Of course I'm worried. You're my mom.

Sami: I think the person we need to be worried about is grandma.

Lucas: Hey, will, your mom and I wanted to talk to you about what happened tonight. Grandpa Shawn said you saw -- saw it on the news.

Will: I can't believe that my grandma Marlena is the killer.

Sami: No, she's not, will, and I never want to hear you say that again, you understand?

John: I'm still here, doc. And I'm not leaving until we figure out the best way to help you.

Lexie: Good. Her vitals are strong and stable.

John: Celeste, what are you doing here?

Celeste: I, um, I heard what happened. Oh, John, I'm -- look, I'm so sorry about, well, you know, everything.

John: Thank you.

Celeste: Yeah.

John: I still don't know what drove doc to... kill all those people, confess to me, and then deny it all. She even accused me of trying to kill her by pushing her off the penthouse terrace.

Lexie: I guess we'll never have all the answers, John.

Celeste: No, wait, there is a way.

John: A way to do what?

Celeste: Get Marlena to tell us the truth.

Hope: Why didn't cazares put her through? If only he had, maybe she'd be alive right now, Bo.

Bo: Hope, don't play that "if only" game. It'll only make you crazy. He knew you were up to your neck in this investigation, you were in a meeting, and... Mrs. H. -- She really didn't press the issue.

Hope: Bo, you heard her. She needed me, and I wasn't there for her.

Bo: Listen, she called John. He called us. We went right over there. We did everything we could. And now we know John was telling us the truth about the phone call.

Hope: We still don't know what he may have said.

Bo: I know. You know what? Let's go over what we do have, all right? We have marlena's statement, declaring her innocence.

Hope: And we have sami's testimony -- that she saw John push Marlena off the penthouse balcony. What if marlena's innocent?

Bo: Hope, come on...

Hope: And John's guilty?

Bo: No way.

Hope: Why won't you even consider the possibility?

Bo: Because I don't believe a word that marle--

Hope: Bo.

Shawn-D: I'm interrupting.

Bo: No, no, come on in. We're just discussing the case.

Hope: Shawn, are you okay, honey?

Shawn-D: Yeah, I was just hoping I could stay here tonight, if that's okay, in my room.

Bo: Yeah, yeah, it's fine.

Hope: What's in the bag?

Shawn-D - This? Oh, uh, just my gym bag, change of clothes.

Hope: Hey. We're here if you want to talk.

Shawn-D: Yeah, you know what? You know, my brain's fried. I just -- I don't know what to think. You guys have told me time and time again you can't have a relationship without trust, and I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to trust Belle again.

Belle: I'm sorry. I thought you were...

Philip: Shawn? Yeah, I could tell.

Belle: What are you doing here?

Philip: Well, you've had a rough night. You'll need your strength, so I brought you some food.

Belle: I really don't think I could eat anything.

Philip: It's Chinese.

Belle: Philip, that's really sweet of you, but now that you're here and you see that I'm fine, could you do me a favour?

Philip: Yeah. Anything.

Belle: Okay. Go away.

John: Celeste, I... I don't understand. How do you think you can reach Marlena?

Celeste: I have the powers to -- oh, come on, John, you know.

John: Yeah, yeah.

Celeste: Look, if I could just touch her, I think maybe I'll be able to get a picture, you know -- an insight on what Marlena has done and why.

John: I see. You mean you want to crawl inside my wife's head and read her mind, feel her feelings, right?

Celeste: Well, as a matter of speaking, yes.

John: Forget about it. No way I'm going to let you do that.

Will: I heard something else on the news tonight. They said that dad pushed you out of the way when grandma Marlena fell off the terrace. He saved your life.

Sami: Yeah, that's right. He did.

Lucas: Wait a minute. Actually, I didn't, really.

Will: Dad, don't act like it was no big deal. If she had died --

Lucas: Will, don't think about losing your mom, all right? It's not right.

Will: So many people in our family are dying. I-I can't help it. If -- if I had lost mom, I don't know what I'd do.

Lucas: I know. I know, buddy. I feel the same way.

Sami: You do?

Lucas: I don't know what I'd do if I lost you, either.

Belle: I'm sorry, Philip. I just need to be alone right now.

Philip: All right, I hear you.

Belle: So you're going to go.

Philip: Nope. You see, you just think you need to be alone right now, but actually, it's the worst thing for you.

Belle: Why do you say that?

Philip: Because I know you better than almost anyone in the world. We grew up together, remember? I know everything about you. I know that you love peanut butter and jelly, but you hate bologna. I know that you like to be pushed really high on the swings...

Belle: Philip, all those things are from when we were little. I'm grown up now. I have grown-up problems.

Philip: But you're still the same person, Belle, and you still need to take care of yourself. Now, I'm starving, and I'm not taking that food with me.

Belle: Philip, I really don't think you know what you're getting yourself into. I'm not going to be very good company tonight.

Philip: Well, that's okay. I'm not looking for good company. I'm looking for soy sauce... and tea. I can't eat Chinese without tea. Where's your kettle?

Belle: I'll get it.

Philip: Maybe you'll have a cup, too?

Belle: Maybe.

Philip: [Thinking] That's my girl.

Hope: Honey, I know you're really hurting right now, but just give it some time --

Shawn-D: Mom, we're talking about the woman I love, okay? I took her up to the hospital roof tonight, and I asked her to marry me, and that was when she decided to tell me that she has been lying to me the whole time.

Hope: She felt trapped. Honey, honestly, I truly believe she thought her mother was innocent and thought that she needed to prove it to you.

Shawn-D: You can't prove anything with a lie.

Hope: The alibi may have been a lie. Shawn, look, we don't know for sure if Marlena is or is not guilty.

Shawn-D: What are you talking about?

Bo: We do have very strong suspicions, though.

Hope: But we do not have any proof. What we do have is a lot of conflicting stories from John and Marlena and from Sami. But once again, we also have no motive. So, honey, it's hard to say that things would've turned out any differently if Belle had told the truth all along.

Shawn-D: Well, if that's true, if Marlena isn't the killer, then... Belle and I can start to work through this. There’s...still hope for us.

Celeste: Listen, John, if you're worried about the risk to Marlena --

John: No, it's not that. Just that I don't feel comfortable having you or anyone else prying into my wife's private thoughts.

Celeste: Oh, God.

Lexie: What are you afraid my mother will find?

John: I don't know. Just whatever answers we might find, it's going to take a hell of a lot more than one of Celeste’s mystical moments to convince me 100%. No offence.

Celeste: None taken.

Lexie: John, look, things are so confusing right now. How else do you think we're going to get the answers we all need?

John: I don't know.

Lexie: Look, I-I don't understand how it works, but my mother has a gift, John. She's been right about everything regarding this case from the beginning. Remember how she knew Tony wasn't the killer?

John: I remember.

Celeste: Look, John, you came to me to confirm your worst fears about Marlena. Now, I was willing to contact dark forces to give you an answer. That should prove my desire to help you, yes?

John: Yes. And now look at everything that's happened since then.

Celeste: Well, now, that wasn't my fault, and it wasn't your fault, darling. It was destiny.

Lexie: John, you tried to stop Marlena, but you couldn’t. Look, I-I hate to say this, but Alice Horton was doomed, and so was Abe and all the others. But now that marlena's been caught --

John: Damn it, I should have been the one that fell off that terrace tonight. I should have been the one who almost died.

Lexie: John? What are you saying?

Celeste: That sounds like a confession, darling, like you are the killer. Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing?

Will: This isn't the first time dad saved your life, mom.

Sami: You know what? I don't think now is the time for a trip down memory lane.

Will: He saved you from the tiger when you were trapped in the cave on our camping trip, remember?

Lucas: You are so beautiful.

Sami: Okay. Ha ha. Obviously, I was so busy running around today and worrying about my mom that I didn't get a chance to thank you properly, so thanks. Satisfied?

Lucas: Actually, Sami, you already thanked me.

Will: Well, I hope you said it like you meant it the first time.

Sami: Ha ha. Okay. Lucas, uh, you have no idea how much it means to me that you put your life on the line to save mine. So, um, truly and sincerely, thank you.

Lucas: You're welcome. You know why I did it, right?

Sami: Yeah. Yeah, I do.

Belle: You know, that food smells great. Maybe I was hungry.

Philip: I hope you like it spicy.

Belle: You know I do.

Philip: Yes, I do, and that's why I got sundown palace's special Kung pao chicken.

Belle: That's Shawn’s favourite.

Philip: Mm.

Shawn-D: I hope you're right that Marlena really is innocent. Then I wouldn't be left with this feeling that Belle had anything to do with gran being gone.

Bo: Hold on. Don't get ahead of yourself here. We still have a mountain of circumstantial evidence against Marlena. We got to wait, see how this thing plays out.

Hope: Honey, your dad and I don't see eye to eye on all of this, but that is one thing we do agree on. We have to see this case through to the end. What are those?

Shawn-D: Um... grandpa's wool rings that his mother made for him when he couldn't afford an engagement ring for grandma.

Bo: Oh, yeah, pop told me about those when I was a kid.

Shawn-D: Yeah.

Hope: What are you doing with them?

Shawn-D: Well, I-I -- I was going to use them when I asked Belle to marry me, you know, until I could afford a real engagement ring, but... I guess I'm just going to have to give them back.

Celeste: John, why do you wish you had fallen off that balcony instead of Marlena?

John: Because then no one would ever know that Alice called me naming Marlena as the killer. No one would ever know that Marlena confessed to me.

Lexie: And then what, John? More people would die. John, it has to stop. Today would have been our wedding anniversary.

John: I know it's your anniversary. I'm sorry, lex. I'm so sorry.

Lexie: John, I miss Abe so much, I almost can't breathe. But I can't celebrate with him tonight because he was taken away from me. And how many other lives ended too soon, John? Jack, Maggie, cassie, Caroline, Tony, Roman, Doug -- even sweet, wonderful Alice. Marlena was my friend once, but now I have no hesitation in saying she is a monster, John. She deserves to die.

John: Maybe all those things are true, lexie, but the woman I married is still inside there somewhere. God help me, I love her.

Lucas: So, uh... you know why I saved your life, right, Sami?

Sami: Yeah, 'cause of will. You don't want him to grow up without a mom.

Lucas: Yeah. That's one reason. But there are other reasons, too, like --

Sami: Will, um, you know what? It is getting late, hon. I think you should go to bed.

Will: Oh, mom.

Sami: No, sweetie, it is past your bedtime.

Lucas: You should turn in, too, take some of those painkillers and call it a night. You're going to be real sore in the morning.

Sami: I don't want to take anything that's going to make me out of it in the morning. My mom needs me, and... no, I just have to get to the hospital before she wakes up. I wouldn't have left at all, except for I wanted to see will and put him to bed. So good night, honey.

Will: Okay, mom.

Lucas: Good night, son.

Will: Good night, dad. And thanks again for saving mom.

Sami: Ha ha. Good night.

Lucas: You know the other reason why I saved you is because --

Sami: I thought you wanted me to go to bed.

Lucas: You don't want to hear the other reason why I had to save you tonight?

Sami: Good night, Lucas.

Philip: I'm sorry. I didn't realize Kung pao was Shawn’s favourite. Does that mean you can't ever eat it again or what?

Belle: I just love Shawn so much.

Philip: You know, my mom used to say where there's love, there's hope. You can't give up on the two of you.

Belle: I didn't give up on Shawn. But, Philip, he's not exactly speaking to me. He thinks that my mom is the serial killer, and I lied to protect her. If it wasn't for my lie, Shawn believes that his great-grandmother would still be alive. He gave me so many chances to tell him the truth, and I knew how important it was to him, but why didn't I tell him?

Philip: And what about when Shawn lied to you? He pretended to be the father of Jan’s baby. Yeah, he went on and on about how he did all the wrong things for the right reasons, just like when you lied to protect your mom. But, Belle, at least what you did made sense. At least you were lying to protect someone you love. You didn't think anyone was going to get hurt. And if it turns out your mom is innocent, well, then, your lie really didn't hurt anyone, did it?

Belle: No, Philip, you can't do the wrong thing and then justify it by saying it's for the right reason.

Philip: Come on, you can't really tell me you think your mother is the serial killer.

Belle: No, but I can't believe what Sami says, either, that my dad's the serial killer. This is one huge nightmare.

Philip: Look, we just need to let the police sort it out. That's all we can do.

Belle: Everything I have ever believed in -- none of it makes sense, Philip. I don't -- I don't know what to do.

Philip: It's been a rough night. It's going to get better. Hey, it is. The truth's going to come out soon enough, and you'll see you can still count on the people you love. Now, Belle, Shawn is still grieving. He's in shock. And once he actually stops to realize what you're going through... Belle, he loves you. He's going to be there for you.

Belle: No. I know him, and I have made a huge mistake -- one that I don't think Shawn’s going to forgive. It's over, Philip. I've lost Shawn for good.

[Sighs]

Hope: Shawn, honey... you need to find it in your heart to forgive Belle the same way she forgave you when you lied to her about being the father of Jan’s baby.

Shawn-D: No, it's not the same thing. No one died because of my lie, mom. In fact, mine was to protect life -- the life of Jan’s baby.

Bo: Yeah, and as well-intentioned as that was, it didn't turn out so good, did it?

Shawn-D: You know, I don't even want to talk about this anymore, okay? I'm just going to go to bed.

Hope: Shawn, wait. I don't want you staying here tonight.

Shawn-D: Oh, you're -- you're kidding me, right?

Bo: What are you talking about? We already said he could. This is his house as much as --

Hope: I know that. Of course you always have a place here, but, honey, this is no place to hide your head in the sand. Shawn... you need to face what happened, and most of all, you need to face Belle.

Lexie: John, I know you love Marlena. I don't doubt that for a second. Nothing could ever change that, not even the horrible truth about her guilt. But you have to understand, I still love Abe, too, even though he's gone, and Marlena killed him. Alice called to tell you that Marlena was there to kill her. John, in spite of your love for Marlena, you know what you have to do.

John: The hell I do. I don't have a clue. Yes, Alice called me. Yes, Marlena confessed, but then she recanted and said she wasn't the killer. And on top of everything else, she accused me of being the Salem stalker.

Celeste: All the more reason to let me try, John. Come on. You know I have the power to reach into marlena's mind. Perhaps I can solve this mystery.

Lexie: Face it, John -- it may be the only way we'll really know for sure.

Sami: Lucas, what are you still doing here? You told me to go to bed, and now you won't let me.

Lucas: Yeah, well, um, drink this.

Sami: What is it?

Lucas: It's warm milk and honey.

Sami: My grandma used to make me that.

Lucas: Yeah, I know.

Sami: Thanks.

Lucas: You're welcome.

Sami: Well, I have now officially said "thank you" for the millionth time tonight. I think I'm all out of gratitude, so, um, good night.

Lucas: All right, yeah. Um... well, if you need anything, I'm just...

Sami: Down the hall. I know where you live, Lucas.

Lucas: Right, uh... in the morning, I'll -- I'll come by and help you get ready.

Sami: Lucas, I have been dressing myself since I was a little girl.

Lucas: I don't think you realize how much pain you're going to be in tomorrow.

Sami: Oh. Yeah, you're right. Thanks. Whoops, I said it again.

Lucas: Yeah. Becoming a real habit.

Sami: All right, well, before it does that, you'd better go. Good night.

Lucas: Good night. Drink your milk.

Sami: Lucas, wait. Where are you going?

Lucas: What do you mean? You just told me to leave.

Sami: Since when have you ever done anything I told you to do?

Lucas: Since never.

Sami: So why start now?

Lucas: Sami... what do you want?

Sami: Are you going to make me say it?

Lucas: You want me to spend the night with you, make you feel safe and secure, make everything go away, guard you and protect you, make sure you don't feel alone tonight?

Sami: Yeah.

Lucas: Done.

Philip: You know, if I had to chart your relationship with Shawn from the beginning until now, I think it would look a little bit like the Dow Jones average. Come on, you guys have had more ups and downs than the stock market. But still, you always manage to work things out.

Belle: Things have never been this bad.

Philip: Sure about that? You were devastated when you thought that Shawn slept with another woman and conceived a child with her.

Belle: Let's not go there, okay?

Philip: Okay. Fine, how about the time that you went on that game show and you won that date with that really, really hunky guy?

Belle: Who just happened to be you.

Philip: And Shawn was totally jealous.

Belle: Of you? Philip, come on. Shawn knows nothing would ever happen between the two of us.

Philip: Well... of course. I mean -- ha ha. What a crazy idea. But Shawn was totally over the top with jealousy when all those other guys were coming after you. I mean, then there was the time you decided to invite yourself on the little I.S.A. assignment that I went on, right? You got in danger, and Shawn gave you a hard time then, too.

Belle: Hey, he found us practically naked together more than once, but Shawn knows there was nothing romantic about it. And besides, we were busting a smuggling ring.

Philip: Well, Shawn’s busting a serial killer.

Belle: Who he thinks is my mom. Look, Philip, I -- I haven't been able to figure out a way to fix this mess, but there has to be a way, and I need you to help me. You've known Shawn just about as long as I have, and I really need a guy's perspective. So what can I do to make things better?

Hope: Honey... I know all you can think about is how she hurt and betrayed you. And you're so sad about great-gran. We all are, even Belle. Now think about how she feels and what she's going through tonight. Her mother almost died. Marlena was accused of killing all of those people, people who were also very close to Belle. She must feel like her whole family's falling apart, sweetie, and I'm sure part of her blames herself for what's happened.

Shawn-D: You're -- you're right.

Hope: Shawn, she loves you, and I know you love her. You need to go to her. If great-gran was here, she would tell you to do exactly the same thing.

Shawn-D: Okay, I'll go.

Hope: Really?

Shawn-D: Yeah, yeah. I don't know what I'm going to say, but I'm going to go.

Hope: Okay.

Shawn-D: I'm going.

Bo: Good night, son.

Shawn-D: I'll see you later, dad.

Hope: Be careful driving, honey.

Hope: What? What, you don't think I should have told him to go?

Bo: You're not convinced marlena's the killer. I don't know, maybe you can keep a more open mind. I am positive that Belle's lie cost Mrs. H her life. If I was Shawn, there's no way in hell I'd forgive Belle.

Lucas: Hey. Will is out. He's out like a light.

Sami: Oh. Good.

Lucas: Yeah. Oh, um... you know, if -- if this bothers you, I can go across the hall and get some sweats to sleep in or something.

Sami: No, no, it's fine. Just get in.

Lucas: All right.

Sami: Ahem.

Lucas: You just, uh, relax, okay? And try to get some sleep.

Sami: Yeah, I'm just afraid of having bad dreams.

Lucas: Don't worry about it. I'll scare all those nightmares away.

Sami: I didn't know you could do that.

Lucas: Oh, yeah. I'm a man of many talents.

Sami: You know, Lucas, it really has been a horrible day, and -- and I don't want you to think that I said all those things earlier just because will wanted me to. You are the one thing that helped me get through tonight. Um, anyway, I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep, so I hope I don't keep you up.

Lucas: Don't worry about it. Just relax, okay? Breathe. Clear your mind. Just don't think about any of the bad stuff. Not tonight, all right? You just close your eyes.

Sami: That feels so good.

Lucas: You know, Sami, with all that attitude, you're just a little girl deep down, aren't you?

Philip: Belle, all I can say is just give Shawn some time. He's really hurting right now. I mean, you know how much he loved Mrs. Horton. But he loves you, too. Just be patient.

Belle: What am I supposed to do in the meantime?

Philip: Lean on your friends, have faith in the ones you love.

Belle: Thanks for saying that, but if I believe my mom's innocent, what am I supposed to think about my dad?

Philip: You know what? I'm going to put on some of your favourite tunes, we're going to eat, I'm going to make sure you get a good night's sleep, and everything's just going to be a little bit better in the morning, okay?

Belle: Okay. Philip, you got cashew beef, but I hate cashews. Do you want mine?

Philip: Oh, I was counting on it. You know I want them.

Belle: Ha ha ha.

Philip: How's this song?

Belle: Perfect. Ha ha ha.

[Dance music playing]

[Belle giggling]

Hope: You know what? I don't want to argue about this. I'm tired. Actually, I'm exhausted. I-I just want to really go to bed.

Bo: Hey, hey, hey, put that down. You know, a night like this reminds you that... love, family -- that's all that matters.

Hope: That's all I was trying to tell Shawn, Bo.

Bo: Yeah, I know. He grew up with the... Brady / horton clan looking out for him -- ma, Mrs. H. He knows what love means.

Hope: Hold me tight.

Bo: As tight as you want. I'll always be here.

Hope: I can't imagine life without gran. I can't believe she's gone, Bo. She's really gone. And that someone we love could have been the one who took her away from us.

John: So let's say you do this mind-meld thing, and you do come up with some answers about the murders. What else can happen?

Celeste: I don't know, John, but I do sense this -- what we learn in the future will make all the horror and sadness, the despair and the grief of the past six months pale in comparison. No, John, no. The suffering isn't over, darling. It's only beginning.

John: All right. Go ahead.

Lexie: John, uh, this could take a while. Why don't we go outside and give my mom some privacy?

John: I'm not going anywhere. If your mother finds anything about marlena's motives for killing those people, I want to be here the second it happens.

Lexie: I'm sorry you have to go through this.

John: I'm sorry you have to go through this -- you and everybody else who's lost a husband, a child, a parent -- I just still can't believe doc is capable of any of this.

Celeste: [Gasps] I don't believe it.

Bo: Mr. And Mrs. H. They had something for the record books, didn't they?

He: So do we.

Bo: Damn straight.

Hope: You know, they never argued in front of us -- not ever.

Bo: Yeah, but I'm sure they did. That's what happens when you love someone. You care so much you get all fired up. Sorry about tonight.

Hope: Me too.

Bo: I kind of like it that you get all fired up.

Hope: You sure about that?

Bo: Mm-hmm. I love that I married a passionate woman.

Hope: I really love that about you, too, Brady. I really do.

Bo: You know what? There is one good thing about fighting.

Hope: Hmm. Let's see, what could that be? Making up?

Bo: Mm-hmm.

Hope: I really need to be with you tonight, Bo.

Bo: I need to be with you.

Hope: Make love to me.

[Belle and Philip laughing]

Shawn-D: What the hell is going on in there?

Belle: How come I never knew that?

Philip: I don't know.

Belle: That's --

Philip: I think most people do.

Belle: I really like this song.

Philip: You know what this song reminds me of? 10th grade, Mrs. Saldino's biology class.

Belle: Oh, my God.

Shawn-D: Do you remember when Shawn and I put that frog down your blouse?

Belle: Yes, and I was so mad about that, but my mom said it was just a high-school guy's way of flirting.

Philip: Well, I think your mom's a pretty smart lady.

Belle: Yeah.

Philip: But, hey, her -- her daughter's smart, too. Do you remember how you got back at us with the stink bomb?

Belle: Hey, that was a chemistry experiment, and I got an "A."

Philip: Ha ha ha.

Belle: Oh. Even then, I was so in love with Shawn.

Philip: Yeah, I know.

Belle: Hey, do you remember when you asked me to go to the last blast with you, and I really wanted to be there with Shawn, and you really wanted to be there with Chloe?

Philip: Well, I didn't know you thought I didn't want to be with you.

Belle: Well, it all worked out, right?

Philip: Yeah, I-I guess it did.

Belle: Philip, you are, like, the best friend ever, and I think tonight you know me better than anyone, because I really didn't want to be alone. Thank you so much for coming by.

Lucas: Are you sleeping?

Sami: Lucas, I can't sleep if you keep asking me every five minutes if I'm asleep or not.

Lucas: I'm sorry. I'm just a little nervous about being with you like this.

Sami: I'm not. I feel totally safe. I've had a lot of trouble sleeping lately, and... waking up is the worst part. I forget that my dad is gone, and then it all comes back to me. Lucas, I can't lose my mom. Why won't anyone listen to me?

Lucas: Hey, stop it. I'm listening to you, aren't I?

Sami: You know, I'm not saying all these things because John broke up my parents' marriage and I hate him and want revenge. I'm serious. I'm just scared. He's Stefano dimera's mercenary. I mean, is it really that hard to believe that he could be the killer? Lucas, he's evil, like truly evil. And I can't just stand around and do nothing. I have to find a way to stop him before he destroys my whole family.

Lexie: Mom, what happened? Did you see something?

John: Come on, Celeste. Talk to us.

Celeste: Marlena. She's innocent.

Lexie: What?

John: Innocent.

Lexie: That's impossible.

Celeste: I tell you, there's no mistake. Marlena is innocent.

John: I knew she couldn't be the killer.

Lexie: Well, then who is?

John: Hold on a second. Oh, my God. What the hell's the matter with me? I've got this figured out now. I've got to go.

Lexie: Oh, no, you're leaving? Where are you going?

John: I know who the killer is. I'm going to bring them in.

“Next on Days Of Our Lives”

Philip: Maybe you have a secret admirer.

Belle: I don't even admire myself right now.

Philip: I admire you.

Shawn-D: Sorry, Belle. Don't think I'm ever going to be able to forgive you.

Jennifer: [Gasps] Oh!

Lexie: What is it?

Jennifer: Julie!

Celeste: It's happening again.
