Man: Top's off, ma'am.

Bonnie: Don't call me "ma'am."

Man: Well, what should we call you?

Bonnie: How about "yours"? Ha ha! Just kidding. Sure, boys, you can open my crate anytime. Ooh! Yee-haw!

Man: We need the manager to sign the packing slip.

Bonnie: Ooh, I am the manager, guys.

Man: You're the new manager of Tuscany?

Bonnie: This place isn't called Tuscany anymore, fellas. This is gonna be a rip-roarin' honky-tonk! You wanna wet your whistle, you wanna cut a rug, this is the spot!

Man #2: Sounds great.

Bonnie: And this baby is the first step in blowing off those cobwebs and getting this place de-maggie hortonized once and for all!

Mickey: What?

Celeste: Hope. Darling. Um, why are you here?

Hope: I know. I'm sorry. It's late, but I'm here on official police business.

Celeste: Please, come in. How can I help you?

Hope: We put a surveillance camera at st. Luke's cemetery. We believed that the killer was likely to return to the scene of the crime. Celeste, where my father was murdered -- you were seen there with my grandmother. She was visiting the family grave. But what about you?

Celeste: Alice and I were summoned there, darling, by tom Horton.

Hope: By my grandfather?

Celeste: Yes. He had a message for us from beyond the grave.

John: Did the killer revisit the scene of the crime? Hey, you, slow down! I can see why tek has zeroed in on marlena. All this evidence is piling pretty high. Hell, if it were anyone but doc, I'd believe it, too. But it can't be true. It just can't be.  Or can it?

Julie: Marlena, thank you for being here for me tonight.

Marlena: Julie, that's what friends are for.

Julie: Well, I don't want to be a burden.

Marlena: Nonsense. You've been through a terrible ordeal.

Julie: I've been so frightened that this was going to happen. I knew Doug was in mortal danger because he knew the identity of the killer, and I should have helped him. I should have done something to make him safe.

Marlena: Julie, I know there's nothing you could have done.

Julie: Well, there's something I can do for my husband now. I can find out who killed him. I do have this feeling that he left me a clue, he left me some sort of a message, because he promised me he would. Now, if you are right, and he scratched something in the dirt, then the killer wiped it out with her boots. There's nothing we can do. And yes, that would explain why there was dirt -- sod -- under his fingernails. But still, I do have a feeling that there is a message out there, and I'm missing it. And I just have to go find it.

Marlena: Doug left a clue out there that could incriminate me. I have to find it before Julie or anybody else does. Julie, do you think that it might be --

Julie: Marlena, I know exactly what you are thinking.

Alice: What did you want to tell me, tom? Is it about the serial killer?  Marlena.

Julie: Marlena, I'm going to go to that graveyard, and I'm going to retrace Doug’s final steps.

Marlena: No. You can't do that.

Julie: Why not?

Marlena: Because you've been through a-a serious trauma. Oh, Julie, you're in no shape emotionally or physically to go walking through the graveyard in the middle of the night.

Julie: But something must be done.

Marlena: Something will be done. I know that Bo and hope and the police will find whatever clues are there. They're going over that graveyard with a fine-tooth comb.

Julie: Oh, I suppose you're right.

Marlena: Of course I'm right. That's why I've got to get over there and find that damn clue before the cops stumble onto it.

Julie: And I know you're right, too, about my state of mind. I am a wreck. I can't think straight. I haven't even processed this -- I just need a little time and a friendly shoulder to cry on.

Marlena: Well, Julie, you've got to go.

Alice: What -- what could this mean? Is it a warning that marlena could be the next victim?

Doug: No, Alice, that's not what it means. Oh, I wish you could hear me. I knew that marlena was the killer, and yet I hesitated because I couldn't believe it was true, and look what happened to me. The truth is, marlena is the killer. Look at the note, Alice. Look at it. Know the truth.

John: You told hope you were sure marlena was innocent. You told her you were sure. The fact is Stefano had brainwashed me, though. Maybe I didn't see doc running away from the cemetery that night. Maybe it's just what Stefano wanted me to see so he could destroy us.  Bottom line is now I'm withholding evidence, 'cause the police think marlena has an alibi for Doug’s death. Ah, if she's innocent, what the hell am I so afraid of? Shouldn't the facts exonerate her? But if she is guilty, and this killer strikes again, oh, what the hell have I done?

Hope: Celeste, what message did my grandfather give you?

Celeste: Darling, I can only tell you what I saw. An image. The word "Horton." It appeared before me just as clearly a-as I can see you right now. And then I saw a tombstone with the name "Horton" on it. Like your grandmother, darling, I was being called to tom's horton's grave. But there was, um... there was a deeper, more sinister meaning to my vision, hope. Oh, cupcake... darling, there is no easy way to tell you this, but you must be warned. Darling, another Horton is going to die.

Bonnie: Mickey, if you think you heard me say that --

Mickey: Hey, hey, hey, hey. What the hell is that?

Bonnie: Oh, that?

Mickey: Yeah.

Bonnie: That is a fully motorized bucking bronco. It's like karaoke, except instead of singing, it's riding. Oh, it's great for group participation. I think it's really gonna liven things up around here. Wanna take it for a little spin around the block?

Mickey: No, no, my sciatica speaks for my whole body when it says, "no, thank you."

Bonnie: Good choice. You wouldn't want your back going out at a time like this.

Mickey: What's that supposed to mean?

Bonnie: Your family is going to be looking to you to be a tower of strength during these dark days.

Mickey: I had no idea you were so concerned about my family.

Bonnie: Well, it's no secret that Julie does get on my back once in a while, but that husband of hers was a real gentleman. I liked Doug, and I'm gonna miss him.

Mickey: Yes, well --

Bonnie: And it must be tough for you, since Doug was probably killed by the same sicko that offed your Maggie. But then again, the show must go on.

Mickey: The show?

Bonnie: Life. We all have to get through it somehow. And the whole Horton clan is gonna be looking to you for inspiration. That's why it's so important to bring joy into people's lives at a time like this.

Mickey: And you think a mechanized bull is going to make people jolly, huh?

Bonnie: Well, it's a start.

Mickey: A start? Don't tell me you have bigger things in store.

Bonnie: Oh, I am the most ambitious gal this side of Nashville. I won't rest till I have my own -- very own -- full-fledged bonniewood.

Mickey: I beg your pardon?

Bonnie: You know, like dolly parton has dollywood. If that lady can do it, so can I. I am every inch the woman that woman is.

[Country music playing ]

Men: Whoo-hoo!

Man #2: Yeah!

Bonnie: Whoo! Whoo-hoo!

Celeste: Oh, darling, I am so sorry. Look, I'm not responsible for what I see. I just report it, and... someone else in your family is going to die.

Hope: Are you sure?

Celeste: I'm afraid I am, darling.

Hope: Do you know who it is, Celeste?

Celeste: I'm sorry. I wish I could tell you more.

Hope: What about gran? What did she think my grandfather was trying to tell her? Celeste, do you think this means that my grandmother's life is in danger? Do you?

Doug: Alice, do not trust marlena. She is evil. She may seem like the same good-hearted, generous marlena we've always loved, but she is not. Oh, Alice, please hear me. Your life is in danger -- and others. Do not let marlena get away with murder ever again.

Julie: Marlena, are you saying I've overstayed my welcome?

Marlena: Oh, darling, no. No, I'm worried about your health. You've been through so much lately. I think you need to be in your own place with your own bed and your own stuff around you.

Julie: Of course you're right. I can't thank you enough. Thank you so much for letting me talk to you tonight. Really, with all these terrible times, marlena, I don't know what the family would have done if they couldn't have talked with you, darling.

Marlena: Yes, well, I'm so glad that I could help. Just so glad. There you go.

Julie: Good night.

Marlena: Oh! Uh, jul--

Julie: Thank you.

Marlena: Yes. Oh, my gosh! I thought that blabbermouth would never leave. I've got to get that clue that Doug left before somebody else finds it.

Doug: Ahh! Aah! Aah! Aah! Ahh...

Marlena: Well, if somebody has that clue, I know what to do.

Lyle Lovett: San Antonio girl she makes me crazy.

san Antonio girl she's the one for me

[Men cheering]

Julie: What's going on?! Hello?!

Man: Yes, sir!

Julie: Have they all lost their minds?!

Bonnie: Hey, what the -- Julie.

Man #2: Hey, lady, how am I going to ride without the music?

Julie: Ha ha.

Man #2: Whoo!

Bonnie: Hey!

Man: That wasn't very nice.

Bonnie: Man.

Mickey: Julie, uh... what -- what are you doing here?

Julie: What am I doing here? I was driving by tonight because I thought something might be wrong, when I saw lights in here, and obviously, something is wrong. Uncle Mickey, how can you do this? How can you allow this -- this woman to turn Maggie’s beautiful restaurant into a saloon? How can you desecrate the place like this?

Mickey: Julie, please --

Julie: Is my family falling apart? Tomorrow, I bury my sweet husband. I put him in the ground. I'm going to spend the rest of my life alone, just like you, uncle Mickey, and now I come in and see this sacrilege going on?! Aah!

Mickey: Oh, Julie, dear --

Julie: And it's all her fa-a-a-ault!

Mickey: Julie. Oh, please.

Julie: [Sobbing]

John: I got to do something. I got to know for sure.

Tek: Where are you going?

John: Out.

Tek: Watch your back. Man, marlena, what's up with you?

Doug: Take the note seriously, Alice. You have to realize what it means. Do whatever you have to do to protect yourself, because once marlena knows that you have that note, you are a dead woman.

Bonnie: Well, I guess bonnie's hoedown preview is finito, thanks to the biggest party pooper in Salem. Sorry, boys, but you're going to have to put the bull back in the barn.

Mickey: Julie, I meant no disrespect to Doug or Maggie. You know that.

Julie: I know your heart is pure, uncle Mickey, but I'm not so sure about hers.

Mickey: But, you see, bonnie meant no disrespect, either. I assure you of that. All she was trying to do is just bring some joy into this place. Lord knows we could use some of it around here.

Julie: Well, nothing can cheer me up.

Mickey: I think I might be able to come up with something. I've decided to change the name of Tuscany. I'm going to call it Alice’s. That should give you a sense that the Horton family is still going strong, and, you see, we have our matriarch to guide us.

Julie: Yes. Thank God for my grandmother.

Mickey: And do you remember the restaurant that she and Maggie used to have?

Julie: Of course I do.

Mickey: You see, that place can come to life again in this place, and in a special way, we'll have Maggie back with us. I think mom will love the idea. What do you think?

Bonnie: I think that's the sweetest thing I've ever heard.

Julie: Nobody asked you.

Mickey: Well, um, speaking of name changing, I have some papers that I have to turn into the city hall first thing in the morning, and I should get to them, so if you ladies will excuse me, hmm?

Julie: I am onto you, miss bonnie, and uncle Mickey will be, too, eventually.

Bonnie: I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about.

Julie: You're just out to filch every last dime out of his pockets. Well, it isn't going to work.

Bonnie: That's a pretty mean thing to say to a person. You know, I could say a few mean things back, but I'm not going to, 'cause of your loss and all, for Doug was your better half.

Julie: Oh, is that your idea of a suitable remark?

Bonnie: I respect your situation, but you're going to have to learn to respect mine. I'm running this joint. You're not the boss of Mickey or me or even this bull here, so keep your nose in your own life and out of mine. Got it?

Hope: Do you think my grandmother could be in danger now?

Celeste: Darling, I'm -- I'm not sure. My -- my vision wasn't clear about that. Just a threat to the Horton family. Look, Alice heard tom calling her name. Now, that experience alone foretells doom. Hope, you must do all that you can to protect Alice.

Hope: You know I will.

Celeste: And the rest of your family, darling.

Hope: I will.

Celeste: All right.

Hope: Celeste, thank you.

Celeste: I just wish I could do more.

Hope: If you have any more premonitions or visions, please let me know.

Celeste: Of course, darling. I've learned not to keep any of these things to myself.

Hope: Thank you.

Celeste: Hurry, darling. I must try to help her. I need answers. [Gasps] Aah! Oh! Oh, God! Oh! [Gasping] What am I seeing? What...

Doug: Thank God Alice left just as you got here. She has the note, marlena -- the note with your name on it. Your days of killing are over.

Marlena: I've got to find that clue Doug left behind. Damn. Something was here. Now it's gone. If someone found that clue, they're as good as dead.

Celeste: What happened? It disappeared.

[Knock on door]

Celeste: John.

John: I'm sorry it's so late, Celeste. I didn't know where else to turn.

Celeste: Come in.

John: Thanks. This will only take a minute.

Celeste: Um... you came for my help.

John: Yeah.

Celeste: Hmm. I, um, thought you distrusted my powers.

John: I'm desperate.

Celeste: You know, moments ago, I -- I felt a sense of imminent danger, but it's passed for now.

John: I need to stop these murders.

Celeste: We are all trying, John.

John: It's up to me.

Celeste: Why are you trying to shoulder the burden alone, John?

John: Because I may know who the killer is.

Celeste: Ah. You know, everyone who has uncovered her identity has become her next victim. You see, that's why I have resisted the knowledge, because I am afraid of her.

John: Well, then what the hell's the point of all this? Hmm?

Celeste: I am trying to overcome my fear, John, but no matter the danger to me, we are all in danger until she is caught. Look, we've got to stop this bloodshed. We cannot allow her to kill again.

Marlena: If someone came here and found Doug’s clue, I'll find you before you ever get the chance to incriminate me.

Hope: Hey, tek, it's me. I just wanted to let you know I'm at Tuscany.

Tek: What are you doing there this time of night?

Hope: I was with Celeste earlier, and she had a very strong feeling that the next victim is going to be another member of my family.

Tek: So that's why you're at Tuscany?

Hope: I wanted to make sure that Julie and uncle Mickey were okay. I saw their cars parked out in front when I was driving by.

Tek: Well, you want backup?

Hope: No, no, no, I'm fine.

Tek: What about Bo?

Hope: Please, don't wake him. He needs his sleep.

Tek: So, uh, anything else?

Hope: Uh, yeah. Uh... have a couple of black-and-whites patrol the area around my grandmother's house. Tell the officers on duty to keep their eyes peeled for anything suspicious.

Tek: Okay, roger that. Talk to you later.

Hope: What the heck is this?

Bonnie: It's a lot less smelly than the real ones. Cleaner, too.

Hope: I don't understand.

Bonnie: I'm giving the place a new look.

Hope: Well, I can see that, bonnie, but --

Bonnie: You know, with your daddy dead and all, I'm sure you could use some cheering up. You want to go for a ride, sweetheart?

Hope: No, sweetheart. Where's Julie and uncle Mickey?

Julie: Hope, sweetie.

Hope: Hey, Julie. Hey, uncle Mickey.

Mickey: Hello, hope, dear. I've just been going through the red tape of getting the name of this restaurant officially changed to Alice’s. What do you think?

Hop I like it. I like it. I think gran could certainly use something to lighten her spirit. I'm a little worried about her.

Julie: When I saw her earlier this evening, she was doing remarkably well, considering. I pray she gets a good night's sleep.

Alice: Is it possible? Marlena -- the serial killer?

John: I need to know if there's any possibility that what I -- what I saw or what I think I saw -- if there's any way I do know who the serial killer is.

Celeste: Darling, tell me her name, okay? And I will try to -- [Gasps] Wait, John.

John: What is it?

Celeste: Danger's very close, darling. We must guard against it before we proceed.

John: What the hell are you talking about?

Celeste: Beware and prepare. The killer could be one step ahead of us, you know.

Marlena: Okay. First... I need John's password. Forrest alamain. [Gasps] Oh. All righty, we're in now. Okay. Let's play that back a little bit. Okay. Let's see who was at the graveyard tonight. Hello, marlena. Don't you look lovely tonight? They say the camera adds 10 pounds, but I just don't see it. You look marvellous, honey. No reason anybody else should see. Let's just rewind that, and... erase it. Okay, let's rewind a little bit, see who else was there tonight. If it turns out that somebody got that clue Doug left that could send me to the gas chamber, well, I won't be the next person to die.

Hope: You're sure gran was okay when you left her earlier.

Julie: Don't worry so, hope. Remember, our grandmother's a strong lady.

Bonnie: That's right. I can remember a time when Alice used to get on the back of a motorcycle --

Julie: Do you mind? It's a family matter.

Bonnie: Like I said before, I'm going to be extra charitable to you tonight, ms. Williams, out of respect for Doug. So if you'll all excuse me, I have some paperwork to do in the office.

Mickey: I guess I better finish up some things in there, too. You okay, hope?

Hope: As long as you are.

Mickey: I'm fine.

Hope: Let's keep it that way.

Mickey: Will do.

Julie: After everything I've been through, the sight of that woman twisting uncle Mickey around her little finger --

Hope: Julie, I know. I know how much pain you're in.

Julie: And you, too. We both loved your father so much.

Hope: I know he was your soul mate, just like Bo's mine.

Julie: And I hope to God you never lose your husband like I lost mine.

Hope: Oh, Julie, I can't even imagine how I would be able to go on.

Julie: Well, you must cherish every moment you have with him. But I know you do. Oh, I must look like a raccoon. I cried so much today. I've got to go fix my makeup before I go out again.

Hope: Do you want me to help you?

Julie: No.

Hope: Are you sure?

Julie: I'm fine. I'll see you.

Hope: What would I ever do without you, Bo?

Kelly moneymaker: Sometimes I wonder how I ever got along without you

you're the best part of it all

Life is only as good as you make me feel

I need you to hold me for a while

I can't live without your love

I'd be so lonely without you

I'd be nothing without you baby, I can't live without your love

When the world casts a shadow and I'm feeling so low you are there

you have a way about you that makes it all seem right

I need you to hold me for a while

I can't live without your love

I'd be so lonely without you

I'd be nothing without you

Baby, I can't live without your love no, I can't live without your love

I can't live without...

Hope: I'm not going to lose you, Bo, or anyone else in my family. No one else is going to die. This ends tonight.

Alice: No. It's impossible. It just can't be.

Bonnie: Mickey, could you, uh, come out here for a minute?

Mickey: Something wrong?

Bonnie: No. Something is finally right for a change.

Mickey: What's that?

Bonnie: I never got a chance to properly thank you for being so nice to me. No, no, please, hear me out. Hear me out. You've trusted me, and I think, with your brains and my drive and determination, we're going to make this a mega-tourist attraction, bigger than the grand ole opry.

Mickey: Oh.

Bonnie: And it's all thanks to you and the Horton family, and I just -- I wanted to do a little something to show my gratitude. Ha ha. Here it is. I hope you like it. I want you to stand right in this spot, because this is the best view. All right? And now, without further ado, here is my tribute to the wonderful Horton family and the amazing woman who is everyone's grandma.

Mickey: My God, bonnie, it's -- it's amazing.

Bonnie: Do you like it?

Mickey: It's very sweet of you to do this.

Bonnie: Oh. Mm. Oh. Ha ha. Mm. Mm.

Hope: I know it's late, but I've got to see you right away. It's a matter of life and death.

Celeste: Hurry, John.

John: Here, Celeste -- crystals, crosses -- you've got it all going on, don't you?

Celeste: Just hurry, darling, hurry. Yes, this is good. Give me your hand. All right, John. I am now ready to hear the killer's name.

John: Damn, this is harder than I thought it would be.

Celeste: It's all right, darling, go ahead.

John: When I first told my theory to marlena, she countered with one of her own. She reminded me that I had been brainwashed by Stefano, that... I slaved away for years as his mercenary pawn, and the fact is, he... did control my mind for a lot of years, and because of that, she thought that... perhaps dimera was reaching out to me from beyond the grave, and actually making me suspect a loved one.

Celeste: Ah, well, Stefano was capable of such things.

John: I know that, but lives are at stake now. I need to be absolutely sure.

Celeste: And the loved one of whom you spoke...

John: It's my wife. I need to know if there is the slightest possibility that the serial killer is my wife marlena.

Celeste: John.

Marlena: Oh, oh. There is somebody there. And you're holding something. Let's just zoom a little closer. [Gasps] Oh, my goodness. My name for all the world to see. Damn you, Doug! Oh. Sorry. I already took care of you, didn't I? All right, well, let's see who else I'm going to take care of. You little note thief. Who will be my next victim? Ooh. Mm. Alice Horton.

Alice: It seems impossible. But... what if it's true? Marlena is the killer. I -- I don't know. I have to get help. I --

“Next on Days Of Our Lives”

Jennifer: Oh. Oh!

Patrick: What's wrong? Jennifer, what's wrong?

Jennifer: I think it's the baby.

Hope: I'm not willing to look the other way, Shawn, so you can protect whoever it is you're protecting. Tell me what your theory was.

Tek: Well, I see a murderer. I think you're the killer we're looking for.

Celeste: There is one way I might be able to help you.

John: I just want the truth.

Celeste: Even if it means unleashing the dark forces?
