Sami: We are rotten parents. I mean, Lucas, we -- we can't even be nice to each other. The childish behavior... look what we've done to our son. He doesn't even think that he has a normal mom and dad.
Lucas: Come on, what kid thinks his parents are normal, all right?
Sami: This is serious, Lucas.
Lucas: Sami, come on. It's a school camping trip.
Sami: For families. We should be going with him like all the other kids' parents.
Lucas: I wish things were different too, but if he doesn't want us to go --
Sami: But that's only because he doesn't think he has a real family. We have to prove to him that he does.
Lucas: What are you doing?
Sami: It's what we're doing, Lucas. We're going to prove to will that we can be normal parents. We are going with him on this camping trip.
Belle: Shawn. Are you sure this is a good idea coming into the park near the circus? I mean, with Horton still on the loose? And what about the serial killer? What if she comes back to the scene of the crime?
Shawn-D: Hey, that's exactly what I'm counting on.
Nicole: To both of us, huh? Getting exactly what we deserve.
Jan: It won't be long now, Shawn. Once I help Nicole get what she wants, she'll have no choice but to return the favor.
Brady: What the hell are you talking about, Nicole?
Nicole: I'm talking about an alibi. And you're going to be mine when the next murder takes place. And then you and everyone else will know without a doubt that I am innocent.
Brady: What the hell?
Victor: Have you lost your mind? What the hell do you think you're dong?
Brady: You're going to take these off, Nicole, right now.
Nicole: Oh. Sorry. But until the police find another corpse courtesy of the Salem stalker, you are stuck with me 24/7.
Celeste: I am so sorry to intrude, Marlena, but my daughter insisted.
John: It was a good move, especially if you believe you are close to naming this killer.
Marlena: Is that right, Celeste?
Celeste: I... I'm not sure. All I know is that I keep having these visions... or more like visitations from Anthony and Roman and now Abraham. They keep trying to convince me that -- that I know who she is.
John: Maybe that's because you really do.
Celeste: Well, if I do know, then -- then why is it buried? Why can't I give you her name?
John: That's why you're here. Marlena's going to help you figure that out, right, doc?
Marlena: Yes, I am. We're going to solve this together. Whatever you've repressed, we're going to dig deep and uncover. Then we'll all know who the Salem stalker is, and she'll be caught and put away. And nobody will ever be hurt.
Celeste: Oh, God, I hope so.
Marlena: Trust me.
Celeste: [Gasps] God, no. If you help me, I'm going to... wind up dead, aren't I?
Sami: Oh, yeah, miss fox, I absolutely adore camping. Will's father and I both do. I don't know how he could have forgotten to RSVP. Oh, thank you so much for accommodating us. Will is going to absolutely freak out. He's going to love it. Yeah, we'll see you soon. Thanks. Bye.
Lucas: So? What?
Sami: Well, I just got off the phone with will's teacher, and it's all set.
Lucas: That's great. I can't believe we're actually doing this.
Sami: When will finds out, he's gonna freak out. He's gonna be so happy.
Lucas: Yeah, he is. You see that, Sami? We're not such bad parents after all.
Lucas: Pulled that whole thing together in one afternoon, just for our son.
Sami: Yeah. And, you know, maybe a little quality family time away from everything is just what will needs.
Lucas: Yeah. Well, maybe it's, uh, what we all need.
Sami: Maybe you're right.
Sami: Oh, will, honey.
Lucas: Hey, buddy, what are you doing home?
Will: It's a half day, remember?
Sami: Oh, yeah. I forgot.
Will: What's wrong?
Sami and Lucas: Nothing.
Lucas: Why? Why would you say that?
Will: You have that...look, like you're up to something.
Lucas: Smart kid. Smart kid. Go ahead, Sami, tell him.
Will: What? Tell me what?
Sami: Well, it's about your camping trip. I just talked to miss fox, and it's all set. Your dad and I are going camping with you!
Lucas: Yeah! Ha ha! We're gonna be chillin' in the woods!
Sami: It's gonna be so cool! You can teach me to fish.
Lucas: It might be a little cold, though, so you got to dress warm at night.
John: Celeste, of course you're not going to die. You're perfectly safe in a security building here. The killer can never get to you. Besides, she'll never know you spoke with Marlena, right, doc?
Celeste: Yeah, but what if she does find out, like she found out about Maggie and Caroline and the others? I mean, history has proven that whoever knows her identity ends up dead.
Marlena: Celeste, you're going to be just fine. I promise. I'll take very good care of you.
Celeste: I know you will.
Marlena: Now, I thought we would conduct the session in the sitting area of the bedroom upstairs. That way you'll feel more comfortable and certainly feel safer.
Celeste: Yes. Thank you. You're a very good friend, Marlena.
Marlena: Thank you. I'll go prepare the room. Then we can get busy on solving this problem.
John: It's gonna be all right, Celeste. 'Cause as soon as you name the killer, I'm gonna take care of her myself. And then this madness will finally be over... for all of us.
Celeste: [Gasps] John.
John: What is it? What's wrong?
Celeste: We must hurry, John. I feel the killer closing in. She's going to strike again, and soon.
Nicole: Oh. Would you mind? Thank you.
Brady: Where is the key?
Nicole: Come on, Brady, die, it's not that bad being cuffed to me, is it?
Brady: Why are you doing this?
Nicole: I think Carson from "queer eye for the straight guy" said it the best -- "when the whole world turns on you, shield yourself with tasteful accessories and a strong drink." And you, my handsome step-grandson, are my tasteful accessory. Or at least until the next stiff turns up, which may be sooner than we think.
Brady: Would you get real, please?
Nicole: Reality bites. And especially since you and your crazy grandfather started to believe that I'm the serial killer. I mean, how could you, Brady? Victor's one thing, but --
Brady: You lied to me. You lied to me about Tony before he died. I was on your side, remember that?
Nicole: I -- I told you, Brady. I was scared to death that Victor would frame me and force me to take the rap for Colin and seven other murders that I didn't commit. So I went to plead to Tony not to go along with it, with whatever crooked deal that Victor made with him to name me as the killer. Brady, you've got to believe me. Victor -- he would do anything to get rid of me. He's successfully turned you against me.
Victor: Oh, you've done a wonderful job of that all by yourself.
Brady: Oh, thank God.
Nicole: Oh, are you kidding? These cuffs are not toys. They're made from a special grade of titanium from the military -- indestructible.
Victor: We'll see about that.
Nicole: Oh, all right, Henderson. Knock yourself out.
Henderson: [Grunting] I'm sorry, sir. She appears to be right. I can't get them off.
Brady: All right, you know what? If Henderson can't get this off, I know a good way to get rid of her.
Nicole: Hey -- oh! Hey!
Brady: See you later.
Nicole: Ow! Ahh...
Belle: Tell me again what we're doing here.
Shawn-D: I have this idea.
Belle: And what idea is that?
Shawn-D: That old cliché that the killer always returns to the scene of the crime.
Belle: And you think because this is where the killer unleashed the tiger on Tony...
Shawn-D: I am willing to bet that the killer has been back here at least once, and -- I'm hoping -- has left behind a little clue.
Belle: A clue. Thank God. For a second, I thought you were gonna say maybe we'd be lucky if the killer was here like right now.
Shawn-D: No, no, no, no, no. If I would have thought that, I never would have brought you here.
Belle: What makes you think she's not here right now?
Shawn-D: Well, enough time has passed. And given the killer's M.O., I'm sure that she's moved on to whatever's next.
Belle: You mean whoever's next.
Shawn-D: You know, if I could just get my hands on that psycho right now --
Shawn-D: Yeah, I know. I'm just -- I'm gonna be very happy finding a small clue.
Belle: Okay. Well, there's the catwalk where the killer dumped the bucket of blood.
Shawn-D: Yeah. Yeah, you know what? I'm gonna go up there right now and have a look around. You just stay down here and, uh, keep an eye out.
Belle: For what?
Shawn-D: For anything... or anyone. >From now on, you won't blow dry...
Lucas: Ha ha! This is gonna be so fun! A family camping trip. Isn't it great, will?
Sami: We're gonna have a great time. We're gonna hike and pan for gold and maybe even fish.
Lucas: Hey. What's wrong? Why aren't you saying anything?
Will: Uh, you really don't need to go.
Sami: What does that mean?
Lucas: Yeah. Why would you say that?
Will: Because I know you two.
Sami: And what does that mean?
Will: It means that, Mom, you'll probably end up getting mad at one of the other parents and chasing them around with a knife.
Sami: Okay, that was just one time, and they provoked me. And it was only a cake knife. It's not like it could have really hurt those -- those...snooty soccer moms. I promise nothing like that will happen on this trip.
Lucas: Darn right. That's why I'm going, will -- to keep an eye on her. Don't worry about it. I'm kidding.
Sami: But I promise that I will be on my best behavior on this trip, okay? I swear.
Will: What about you, Dad?
Sami: Ha! See? I'm not the only one.
Lucas: Wait a minute. What have I ever done?
Will: Dad, do you promise?
Lucas: Yeah, buddy, I promise.
Will: Well, then you better start packing.
Sami: Oh, that's great!
Lucas: All right, cool. Come on, let's get going. I need the handout on the trip.
Sami: Oh, I had it.
Lucas: Let me see this thing. Ah...let's see. Camping supplies -- lanterns, canteens, flashlights. I got this stuff. I got all this stuff, you guys. I'll get it together. You pack. Get all your clothes. Sami, not all your clothes in your closet, all right? This is a camping trip.
Sami: I know. Okay, I get it. Hey, will, are you all ready?
Will: Yeah, but I just need to throw a few more things in my backpack.
Lucas: Cool. All right, well, get it all together, and be ready when I get back here, okay? Hop to, hop to! Let's go, let's go! Hurry up!
John: Celeste, you say the killer is about to strike again? Look... are you getting any sense as to who she might be?
Celeste: No, but... I feel her presence. The Salem stalker is very near.
John: Celeste, you feel the killer's presence?
Celeste: Yes, yes. I'm certain she's close by.
John: Celeste, we're in the penthouse. There's no one else around here. How is that possible?
Celeste: I-I don't --
Marlena: All right. It's time.
John: Don't worry. You'll be fine.
Marlena: I'll make sure of it.
John: Hey, what's going on?
Brady: I went by your office. Joelle said you were here, so does that mean -- does that mean that everything's cool with you and Marlena?
John: Well, hopefully it will be soon. I think the more important question right now is, what the hell are you doing handcuffed to her?
Nicole: Well, it's simple, really. I've taken matters into my own hands to eliminate myself as a suspect. So the next time someone gets whacked, I have a foolproof alibi.
John: You're kidding me.
Brady: Dad, please, just tell me you can get me out of this.
John: I don't know. I'll see what I can do.
Brady: Oh, you're going to pick the lock.
Nicole: Oh, uh, good luck with that one.
John: Shut up.
Brady: Listen, Dad, I'm really sorry to interrupt you. I'm sure you were in the middle of something really important.
John: It's all right. It's not your fault. But I did try to warn you, didn't I, kid?
Brady: Yes, you did, and I'm sorry. I should have listened to you.
John: Tell you what. As soon as I free you up, why don't you grab your gear and move out of Kiriakis's place and stay as far away from this one as you can get?
Nicole: Uh, hello? "This one" is standing right here, and I'm afraid your son is stuck with me until I decide to unlock him.
John: Well, I'm afraid... that she's right. These cuffs are pick-proof, kid.
Brady: Dad, no!
Nicole: Well, that's that. Nice try, Brady.
Brady: Oh, will you shut up and just unlock these damn things right now?
Nicole: I can’t. I didn't bring the key.
John: You really are a piece of work, aren't you?
Nicole: Hey, you know what? I'm doing all of you a favor. You're about to have one less suspect, which means maybe, just maybe, you can focus on finding the real killer. And until then, I have things to do, so come on, Brady.
Brady: Where are we going?
Nicole: We're going shopping.
Brady: Uh, I don't think so.
Nicole: Look, you claim to want out of these, so I suggest you cooperate.
Brady: So you'll let me out if I cooperate?
Nicole: As soon as I can. Now let's go.
John: Sorry I couldn't help you, kid. Just know that all this is gonna be over very soon, one way or another.
Brady: What do you mean?
John: Just take my word for it.
Brady: Oh. Okay, well, I can see that you're really in the middle of something, so I'm -- we are gonna get out of here.
John: I'll call when I have some news.
Nicole: Wonderful. We can't wait. Now let's go.
Celeste's voice: I feel her presence. The Salem stalker is very near.
Marlena: Celeste, come, sit down. Make yourself comfortable.
Celeste: You know what? It just got very chilly in here all of a sudden.
Marlena: I'll check the thermostat. All righty. Do you feel ready?
Marlena: I think we should begin. I think it's time you looked evil in the eye.
Nicole: Ooh, ooh.
Brady: Nicole, do you really have to do this now?
Nicole: In case you haven't noticed, I've been a little stressed as of late. A little retail therapy is just what I need to help me relax. Unless you have another idea.
Brady: No, I don't, so just hurry up.
Brady: What the hell is that?
Nicole: My PDA. Uh, if you'll excuse me, this is private.
Brady: And what do you expect me to do?
Nicole: Just...turn around. Look -- look -- look over there. Look over there. But I need this, okay? Just look over there. Thank you.
Jan's voice: I know I promised to help, but I can't do it.
Nicole's voice: You will. We have a deal.
Jan's voice: Sorry. Don't need you. I can get Shawn on my own.
Nicole's voice: Not if he knows you stalk him.
Jan's voice: You wouldn’t.
Nicole's voice: Try me.
Jan's voice: Please, don't! You'll ruin everything!
Nicole's voice: 10 minutes, baron's, or else.
Jan's voice: Fine. You win. [Sighs] I'll do whatever I have to to get Shawn.
Nicole: Thought you'd see it my way.
Brady: See what your way?
Nicole: Nothing. That was my mother. I got her a PDA for Christmas. Big mistake.
Brady: Can we get the hell out of here, please?
Nicole: No! Not yet. Oh. I still have to try this on. Oh, wait! You can't come in here.
Brady: Okay, let me just cut my arm off then. Give me a second.
Nicole: Oh. All right, I have an idea. Come with me. Come on. Just come on, come on.
Jan: I have to act fast. I don't have much time before that bitch Nicole makes good on her threat and blows everything.
Shawn-D: I'll be right down.
Shawn-D: What's this?
Belle: Aah! Aah! Aah! Aah!
Belle: Aah! Shawn! Oh, my God! Shawn!
Shawn-D: What the hell are you doing here?!
Lucas: Oh, hey, hey. Ha. Fresh air, the great outdoors -- isn't this great?
Sami: Yeah, the view up here is stunning, huh, will?
Woman: Will, hi. You made it.
Woman: And you must be will's parents.
Woman: I'm miss fox.
Lucas: Well, you certainly are, miss fox.
Sami: Shut up. Hi, I'm Sami. I'm will's mom.
Lucas: Uh, his dad Lucas.
Miss fox: It's nice to meet you. I've, uh, I've heard... a lot about you.
Will: Hey, my friends Arthur and Vincent are here. I'll, uh, be right back.
Sami: Okay, have fun.
Lucas: Be careful.
Miss fox: Uh, just so you know, the kids will be sleeping in the eco-tent, so you will get some time to yourselves.
Miss fox: It's a tent with a sort of moon roof.
Sami: Oh, wow, that's cool. What about, uh, me? Where will I be sleeping?
Miss fox: Oh, you will be staying with your husband, of course.
Sami: Are you crazy? There is no way in hell I am sharing a tent overnight with this guy.
John: No, hope, keep your fingers crossed. She's in with Marlena right now. Yeah, I know we can't be too careful. That's why I'm going over to Victor’s. I'll be in touch. I'll be in touch.
Marlena: Oh -- Celeste, it's okay. It's just the security alarm.
Marlena: That might be John going out.
Marlena: Yes, that's what it was. It's all right. We're completely alone.
Marlena: All right. I'm going to put you under. Shall we start?
Celeste: I'm ready.
Marlena: Okay. I want you to relax. Take a long, slow breath. Every time you breathe, double your relaxation. Let your eyes close. Good. Focus on the sound of my voice. Shut everything else out. Open yourself up completely to your subconscious mind. Can you do that? Good. We want to get a look at the Salem stalker. I want you to look deep inside yourself. Look into your very soul. Now tell me -- can you see the killer?
Celeste: Yes. Yes. I see... I-I can't -- I can't -- I can't make out... I can't make out the -- the face, but... it's a woman. It's a woman. I'm sure of it.
Marlena: All right, that's fine. Try harder. Focus... as deeply as you can. Can you envision anything else about the killer?
Lucas: Can we please talk over here for a second?
Sami: Lucas --
Sami: Oh, damn it.
Lucas: Look, if you're not comfortable sharing a tent with me, you can sleep out under the stars, for all I care.
Sami: No, I am not sleeping outside.
Woman: There a problem here?
Sami: Um, who are you?
Miss fox: This is Pam, one of our Phys Ed teachers. She's also in charge of equipment. Pam, do we have an extra tent on the bus for miss Brady?
Pam: Not a one, but I'm bunking alone, miss Brady, and if you don't want to sleep with this man, I'll gladly share my space.
Lucas: Uh... sorry. Excuse us for a minute.
Sami: Ha ha.
Lucas: Please. Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this to will? You're embarrassing the hell out of him.
Boy: Hey, will, is your mom going to, like, freak and pull a knife again like she did at the Halloween party?
Boy #2: Or maybe this time, she'll just go after your dad. Ha ha ha. Yeah.
Sami: You know what? Pam, thank you so much for your offer, but the sleeping arrangements are fine as they are.
Pam: My tent's always open. Let me know if you change your mind.
Sami: Thank you. Uh, yeah, I'll -- I'll do that.
Miss fox: Well, now that that's settled, we have some things to attend to. Excuse us.
Will: So, Mom, Dad, you guys okay?
Sami: Yeah, yeah, honey. Everything is great.
Lucas: We're great.
Will: Okay, good. Um, we're going to go set up our tent, so, uh, meet us later by the campfire?
Lucas: Yes, we will. We'll be there. You can count on it.
Sami: Have fun, okay? We'll see you in a little bit.
Lucas: Be safe out there.
Lucas: Let's get the tent set up before it gets dark, all right?
Sami: What, you think I can't do it?
Lucas: You want to do it? Fine. Have at it. Go ahead.
Sami: We're supposed to be acting like a parental unit. We'll set the tent up together.
Lucas: There you go. That's the best idea you've had since we've gotten here.
Shawn-D: Who are you, and what are you doing here?
Man: I work here, and you're trespassing. I'm calling the cops.
Belle: Shawn, wait a second. He does work here. I remember. Oh, I'm so sorry. He wasn't -- he wasn't trying to hurt me. He just scared me.
Shawn-D: Are you sure?
Belle: Yeah, I'm positive.
Shawn-D: I'm sorry, man. I didn't realize.
Belle: You're not really going to call the police, are you?
Shawn-D: No, no, no, listen, you don't have to do that. We're actually with the police. Um, well, my mom is acting police commander while my father is out of town. But we were actually asked to come to the crime scene and have a look around.
Man: Well, go ahead and look. Just be careful. You just don't know what can happen these days... especially to a pretty young girl.
Belle: Can we go now, please?
Shawn-D: No, no, not yet, because I think I actually found something about the catwalk.
Brady: Okay, I can understand the mask, but earplugs?
Nicole: Don't worry. This won't take long.
Nicole's voice: You're here. Smart choice.
Jan's voice: The key -- where is it?
Nicole's voice: Don't screw up.
Jan: [Thinking] Oh, God. What have I gotten myself into?
Celeste: How could you do it? How could you murder all of those people? Whoever you are.
Marlena: Celeste, talk to me. Are you confronting the killer?
Celeste: I'm trying. I'm trying to see.
Marlena: Try harder. Focus for me. Celeste, can you -- can you see what color hair she has? Can you see what she has on? What is she wearing?
Celeste: Yes! Yes, I see her. She's wearing a coat -- a blue coat.
Shawn-D: So check this out -- I found this right here, caught on the nail.
Belle: It's a torn piece of fabric. Oh, it still has a button on it.
Belle: Looks like it could be from a woman's suit.
Shawn-D: Could be anyone’s.
Celeste: I've seen it.
Marlena: What did you say?
Celeste: I've seen it. I've seen the jacket before. I know who it belongs to.
[Knocking on door]
Lucas: Put it right there.
Sami: I got it.
Lucas: No, you didn't clamp it like I said.
Sami: I know, but that's not how you're supposed to put it in there.
Lucas: We can fix it like that for now. It'll stay up.
Sami: Fine. I got it.
Lucas: Just put that rod right through that sleeve.
Sami: Let go. Let me do it, Lucas.
Lucas: Oh, there you go. Oh, that's really going to hold.
Sami: I got it, I got it.
Lucas: You don't got it. It's coming down. Look.
Sami: No, it's not. It's fine.
Lucas: Oh, whatever. You're happy with it, great. You know, maybe we should call that lady Pam. She could help us. She was a real outdoorsy-type lady.
Sami: No, no, no. It's fine, okay? We can fix it in the morning.
Lucas: Suit yourself. We missed the weenie roast anyway. All the kids are in bed.
Sami: We'll make it up to will tomorrow, okay?
Lucas: Well, then, I -- I guess we should turn in. Unless, um...
Sami: Forget about it. I'm going to bed. And if anything comes slithering into my sleeping bag, don't think I won't hesitate to chop its head off.
Lucas: Oh. Nice. Great. On that pleasant note... good night, then, Sami.
Sami: Good night, Lucas.
Shawn-D: Belle, look out!
Brady: Can we leave now, please? Did you get what you wanted?
Nicole: I'm about to. Come on.
[Classical music playing]
Victor: Who's there?
Celeste: I've seen it. I know who the jacket belongs to. I've seen it.
Marlena: All right, then, Celeste -- whose is it? Who is the killer?
Celeste: The name -- it's -- it's so... close. So near.
Marlena: Focus for me. Try harder.
Celeste: I'm sorry. But... I can’t. I can't do it.
Marlena: What do you mean?
Celeste: Please, Marlena... you must stop this. Erase the name from my memory. I don't want to find out who it is.
Marlena: Are you sure?
Celeste: I'm sorry. I know it's cowardly. I know you are all counting on me, but I'm frightened. I'm frightened. Oh, no, I -- oh, I see -- the killer's name, it's -- it's so close. I feel... I feel the sh-- sharp blade on my neck. Oh! Oh, God, no! No! I-I don't want to die! I don't want to die! My daughter, my grandson -- they need me! [Sobs] Oh, God, please, Marlena, please, please, I'm begging you! I'm begging you -- deliver me from this curse. Oh, God! Blot it out of my mind! [Sobs] Banish it from my lips, please! Will you do that, please?! Will you do that?! Please, please, please. [Gasping]
Marlena: Celeste, if you're sure... that's what you want. If you're sure... I can make sure you never utter the killer's name.
“Next on Days of Our Lives”
Nicole: I can certainly feel what you're trying to hide. Bodily functions -- we all have them.
Sami: Snake! Oh, my God, not snake.
Lucas: Don't worry. I'm not poisonous.
Belle: Think my dad really knows who the serial killer is?
Marlena: Then I'm going to erase your memory. It's finally time. Big open area too. Now, you get along well.
