Julie: I don't understand how all of this could have happened.
Doug: Oh, I wish I knew.
Julie: How could somebody steal the key to a tiger's cage and then let him out? How could anybody be so evil?
Doug: Well, the serial killer obviously was trying to prevent Tony from revealing his ident-- her identity. Ooh. Oh. Sorry, I didn't see you.
Doug: Oh, dear God.
Julie: What is it?
Doug: I bumped into her. I saw the killer.
Julie: Doug. Well, come on. We've got to tell hope. We've got to tell John.
Bonnie: Sweetheart, are you all right? Are you sure you're all right?
Mimi: Yes, I'm fine, Mom.
Bonnie: Oh, thank God. Thank God the killer didn't hurt my baby. Mickey! Mickey, I've been looking all over for you.
Mickey: What? What, I -- well, I-I-I took my mom home, and Jennifer and Abby, too. I came back to make sure everybody was okay.
Bonnie: Physically, we're fine, but mentally -- it was the terror and the panic. It was a horrible ordeal.
Mimi: Especially for Tony, don't you think?
Rex: He looked really bad when the EMTs took him out of here.
Mimi: I wonder if he'll make it.
Celeste: Not if the serial killer can help it. The Salem stalker won't rest until Tony is dead -- until she's certain that he won't reveal her identity.
Brady: Whoa, whoa, whoa. You coming in?
Nicole: I can’t.
Brady: Nicole, come on.
Nicole: I can't face Victor, Brady. I can't do it.
Brady: I'm not going to let him hurt you. Trust me.
Victor: Ah, there she is -- my wife the murderess. There's someone here to see you, my dear.
Nicole: Oh, my God. Am I under arrest?
Belle: Are you sure that you're okay?
Shawn-D: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You?
Belle: Besides not being able to stop shaking, I think so. Shawn, you saved our lives -- my dad and me. If you hadn't scared that tiger off...
Shawn-D: I'm fine. It's nothing.
Belle: The smoke. It...
Shawn-D: Belle, hey, look at me, okay? We're going to be fine. The danger is over. Okay?
Belle: Shawn, what if something terrible had happened to someone that we love?
Marlena: Are you all right? Do you want me to take a look at those cuts for you?
John: Don't worry about me. You look relatively unscathed.
Marlena: You can't say the same for Tony. Any word on him?
John: I was just about to check in with hope on that right now.
Hope: Get this to forensics. Check it for prints and find out what's in it.
Man: You got it.
Hope: Thank you.
John: So what's the story?
Hope: Well, the more evidence we find -- the missing keys, the syringe -- the more the attack looks like it was deliberately and intricately planned.
John: Mm-hmm. What about the tiger?
Hope: The cops have fanned out. They're hunting him down. I just thank God that all the kids are okay.
Marlena: That's the most important thing.
Hope: Marlena, are you okay?
Marlena: I'm all right. I'm okay. I just -- I wish they'd find this killer and... this nightmare would be over.
John: Well, the big question is, is Tony going to survive long enough to name the killer?
Man: Right this way.
Man #2: Vitals?
Lexie: Holding for now. Substantial blood loss, severe muscle and tissue damage, possible carotid artery laceration. Tony? Tony, can you hear me?
Man #2: His pulse is weakening. We're losing him.
Lexie: Get a crash cart. Code blue.
John: You know, if DiMera dies before he names the Salem stalker, we're right back to square one again.
Julie: Everybody, listen. Doug, tell them. Oh, never mind. I'll tell them. He saw her. Doug saw the stalker.
Hope: Daddy, what happened?
Doug: Well, I didn't realize at the time who it was, but, um, I did bump into someone with a black hooded sweatshirt, and I just assumed it was a mime from the circus.
Hope: Could you see the person at all? Any identifying features? Anything?
Doug: No, I'm sorry.
Julie: Darling, don't say you're sorry. I say thank God he can't remember anything about her. If he could have recognized that person, why... Doug, you could be the next victim.
Celeste: The killer isn't finished with Tony. I've been receiving some distressing vibrations.
Bonnie: All right, all right, no more, Celeste, okay? That's it. Enough with the gloom and doom. We don't want to hear any more.
Celeste: Very well. I will go to the hospital and check on Anthony, whom I fear will not live to name the killer.
Mimi: Are you okay?
Bonnie: Rex, honey, don't pay any attention to her, okay? Celeste puts the “wack” in -- in wacky. Look, with all her vibrations, it's best just to ignore it, okay?
Mickey: I, uh, I really have to go check on the others.
Bonnie: No. No -- I mean -- no, please don't go. Stay.
Mickey: Well, why shouldn't I go?
Bonnie: Well -- ooh.
Mickey: Bonnie? Bonnie?
Bonnie: Is it me or is the tent starting to spin?
Bonnie: Oh -- oh.
Mickey: Waah! Bonnie. Bonnie.
Hope: Daddy is going to be absolutely fine. There aren't going to be any more victims because we are not going to let that happen. Do you hear me? You'll be okay.
John: I'm so grateful that you're all right, doc.
Marlena: Oh. Oh, honey.
John: So where were you? When the fire started.
Marlena: Oh, I was -- I was, uh, in one of the backstage dressing rooms the whole time.
Shawn-D: There's nobody in the back room.
Doug: And all the dressing rooms are empty.
Marlena: Come on. Let me get you to the hospital. I want those cuts checked out.
John: Nah, I need to stay here and help secure the crime scene.
Marlena: I'm worried about you. I don't like the look of this.
John: I'll be fine. Hope, are you ready?
Hope: Yeah, let's do it.
Julie: I'll be right back, darling.
Doug: Yeah. Yeah. Marlena.
Marlena: Oh, Doug, yes? What?
Doug: Would you, uh, clear up something for me? You just told John that you were in the dressing room the whole time. Uh, but that's not true. I checked all the dressing rooms to make sure that everyone was safe, and, uh, this is after the fire started -- they were all empty. You were not in there. Why did you lie? Why did you tell John that you were?
Hope: This is a list of all the women that were at the circus today.
John: Only one woman on that list could be our killer -- Nicole walker Kiriakis.
Hope: Exactly. That is exactly why I sent Ruiz to find her.
Victor: Nicole, there's no one here to arrest you.
Victor: Well, it seems my wife has a guilty conscience.
Ruiz: Ma'am, officer Ruiz. I have orders to keep an eye on you in case you're wanted for questioning as a suspect in the serial killer investigation.
Nicole: I see.
Ruiz: I'll be in the squad car right outside. I'd appreciate it if you don't leave the premises.
Victor: Oh, she's not going anywhere. Don't worry. Thank you, officer Ruiz. We'll all feel much better knowing you're on duty.
Nicole: You son of a bitch.
Victor: What? I'm not the one that's acting guilty. You're the one bringing suspicion on yourself, not me.
Brady: That's not fair, Granddad.
Victor: Oh, Brady, will you stop being taken in by my homicidal spouse? The truth is, once Tony DiMera's able to speak, he's going to confirm what I already know to be the truth -- that Nicole is the Salem stalker. And then her killing spree will be over.
Lexie: Tony... I am so sorry. I'll never forgive myself for thinking that you were the one who killed Abe and all the others. I should have known you'd never do anything to hurt me. You hang in there, okay? Of course you will, because you're a survivor. Just stay strong, and you'll be fine. I'll make sure of it. And when you wake up, you can tell all of us who the killer is.
Mimi: Come on, Mom. This is so not cool.
Rex: Mimi, she's passed out.
Mimi: She's faking it, Rex.
Mickey: Okay, okay, here we go. This -- this ought to do the trick. Here we go.
Bonnie: Aah! Whoa! Oh! Hold onto it, big daddy!
Mickey: It's okay. You're okay. You're okay.
Bonnie: Whoa, I only fainted, okay? I'm not D.O.A.
Mickey: Oh, we got to get you to the hospital. Come on.
Bonnie: Oh, what? What? No, no, no, no hospitals.
Mimi: She's right, Mr. Horton. My mom faints a lot and always makes an amazingly quick recovery. The hospital really won't be necessary.
Mickey: Well, that's okay. We're not going to take any chances, Mimi. I'm going to get your mother checked out. Come on.
Bonnie: Thank you, Mickey.
Mickey: Yeah, that's fine. All right. Come on. We can go right now. Come on.
Bonnie: You see that? He cares. He really cares.
Rex: Mimi, come on. Let's go with them.
Marlena: Doug, are you accusing me of lying to my husband? Is that what's happening here?
Doug: Well, Marlena, you were not in a dressing room. Not after the fire broke out.
Marlena: Well, there was a tiger on the loose. It was -- it was chaos. It was panic. Now that I think about it, you're right. I wasn't in a dressing room. Actually... what I had done was take cover in a supply room on the other side of the tent. Oh, my gosh. It was such a blur. I didn't know where I was.
Doug: Of course you didn’t. I'm sorry. We -- we all were -- we all were in such a panic.
Marlena: Yeah, well, no, it's okay. I-I'm just glad it's -- it's over now.
Doug: We all are.
Doug: Well, excuse me. I'm going to go find Julie.
Marlena: Yes, of course.
Hope: Well, officer Ruiz will keep track of Nicole, but, honestly, I don't see anyone else on this list as a suspect.
Marlena: John, hope.
John: Maybe doc can help.
Marlena: Help what, honey?
John: Listen, hope and I have been going over the list of all the women that were at the circus today. Show it to her.
Hope: Yeah. You look at it, Marlena. You've worked with cops as a psychiatrist on, what, hundreds of cases. Do you see any woman on this list besides Nicole walker who you think we should be investigating... who could possibly be the killer?
Marlena: Besides Nicole, I -- I don't see who that would be.
Nicole: You want me to be guilty, don't you? You don't give a damn if innocent people are dying. That’s not your concern. Oh, no. Your purpose in life is to send me to death row.
Victor: Which is where you belong.
Brady: Granddad, Nicole was with me the entire time at the circus. We hid together from the fire and from the tiger. She was terrified. I could tell.
Victor: Of course she was terrified -- terrified that Tony DiMera was going to incriminate her.
Brady: You are her husband, Granddad. The least you could do is consider her innocent until proven guilty.
Victor: Brady, you're a good man. You like to see the best in people. Unfortunately, your trust in Nicole is sorely misplaced.
Brady: All right, show me some proof, then. I want solid evidence that Nicole is guilty.
Victor: That can be arranged.
Marlena: I'd say of everybody on the list, it looks like it has to be Nicole.
Hope: There's no evidence.
John: Not unless Tony wakes up and names the killer.
Hope: Oh, thank God.
Marlena: Oh, Belle, honey.
Belle: Oh, Mom.
Marlena: Oh, my gosh. There you are, sweet girl.
John: You all right, sweetie?
Belle: I'm fine, but I think Shawn has smoke inhalation.
Hope: Honey, are you having a hard time breathing? Are you all right?
Shawn-D: No, Mom, Mom, it's nothing, really.
Hope: No, it's not “nothing”.
Shawn-D: No, it's fine.
Belle: Shawn, don't you think you should at least go to the hospital and just get checked out?
Shawn-D: Oh, come on, please.
Julie: Okay, we'll take him.
Hope: Julie, thank you. Daddy, thank you. Shawn-Douglas, go.
Belle: Dad, don't you think you should go get those gashes checked out, please?
Marlena: You know, that's what I've been trying to talk him into doing.
John: It looks worse than it is.
John: I'm going to go, because I'm never going to hear the end of this, right?
Hope: You know what? Let's all go.
John: Well, hope, shouldn't you stay here?
Hope: No, no, no, it's fine. Forensics has the crime scene completely under control. Besides, I want to be at the hospital in case Tony comes to and names the killer.
Nicole: If you wouldn't mind, I'd like a moment alone with my husband.
Brady: Okay. I'll be upstairs changing.
Nicole: What are you doing, Victor?
Victor: I'm getting Brady what he asked for -- proof that you killed Colin Murphy, shot him at close range the night of our wedding. It's right here in the safe.
Nicole: No. You promised never to show anyone the evidence against me, and in return, I would never tell the police that you were an accomplice after the fact. So unless you want to go to jail, too --
Victor: Don't you threaten me.
Nicole: I had nothing to do with the serial killings, Victor.
Victor: Your reign of terror is about to come to an end, Nicole. The police are standing guard outside. You can't get to Tony. How does it feel now that the walls are closing in?
Marlena: Well, I'm sure Julie’s got them with her. Oh, there they are. Hi, honey.
Shawn-D: Hey, I'll flag down a nurse, and I'll have her check me out.
Belle: Mom, will you go with Shawn, just to make sure that he's okay, please?
Marlena: Right now, you and me -- let's go.
Belle: Thank you.
Hope: I'm going to get an update on Tony, see how he's doing. How did you get here after us?
Mickey: Right in here.
Bonnie: I just don't think --
Mickey: No, no. It's okay.
Belle: What are you guys doing here?
Mimi: It's a long, obnoxious story.
Rex: Mimi's mom fainted.
Belle: I'm sorry. What?
Mimi: Yeah, it was really dumb. She totally faked the whole thing.
Belle: Faked it? Why?
Mimi: To get Mickey Horton’s attention. Why else?
Bonnie: You know, it's -- it's so sweet of you to be so concerned, Mickey, but I think if I just go home --
Mickey: N-n-n-n-n-now, you're going to get yourself checked out, okay? N-n-no more -- Dr. Rojas, please, please.
Dr. Rojas: Mr. Horton.
Mickey: Uh, hi. My friend here collapsed a little while ago. Would you be so good as to just check her out, please?
Dr. Rojas: Of course.
Dr. Rojas: Follow me, Mrs....
Bonnie: Ms. Lockhart.
Mickey: Hey. Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Doug: Everything all right? You okay?
Mickey: Me, me -- oh, yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine.
Julie: So what brings you to the hospital, Uncle Mickey?
Mickey: Oh, well, I-I drove Bonnie Lockhart over here to have her checked out.
Julie: The two of you are spending a lot of time together these days.
Mickey: D-d-don't start on this, okay?
Julie: It's just that I'm concerned about you, Uncle Mickey. It's so soon. I mean, you just lost your wife.
Mickey: Darling, I don't need to be reminded of that, okay?
Julie: I know you don't, and I'm not being insensitive, Uncle Mickey. It's because I am concerned. You are so very vulnerable now, and... do you really think Bonnie Lockhart is your type?
John: Everything is secure?
Hope: I've got a cop right outside.
John: All this time, I'd thought he was guilty, and now I know I'm wrong. Damn, I should have listened to you closer. You were telling me the truth. I just wouldn't believe you. I just hope that someday you -- you will be able to forgive me, but right now, you just got to hang in there, man. You got to get your strength, 'cause you got to tell us who the hell this killer is, Tony. Come on, Tony. Talk to me. Tell me who did this to you.
Tony: It was... It was...
Lexie: What the hell is going on here? Both of you, out -- now.
John: We almost got what we need, Lexie.
[Monitor beeping faster]
Lexie: Leave. We need to stabilize him. Prepare the drip.
Man: Right away.
Lexie: No, no, no. No, no, no. Tony, don't try to speak. No, don't try to speak, ok?? You're very weak now. You'll be okay. Soon you'll have the strength to talk, but right now, you need to rest. Okay, sweetie? Just rest. Just rest. Don't speak. Just rest.
John: Damn. So close.
Hope: He's got to tell us. He was going to.
John: Lexie, if we could just have one more minute with him.
Lexie: No more.
John: One more minute.
Lexie: I won't allow you to badger my brother. I won't have it.
Hope: Lexie, we'll be sure not to upset --
Lexie: What? Upset him? The man was just mauled by a tiger, hope. He's already beyond upset, so can't you just let him rest until he gets his strength back? Look... we all want to know who the killer is, but I won't jeopardize my brother's recovery to find out. It shouldn't be long until he's stable. Please, please, just try to understand my position.
Hope: Of course.
Lexie: John, would you like me to take a look at your injuries?
Celeste: Oh, you are wrong, Alexandra. Tony will never be stable. In fact... he has very little time left.
Mickey: Bonnie Lockhart is taking my mind off... the loss of my precious Maggie, lifting my spirits with her -- with her good nature and her sense humor. But that-- but that's -- I mean, that's all. There-- there's nothing going on between us.
Julie: I read too much into it, and... forgive me, Uncle Mickey.
Mickey: Sure, sure. Listen, I'm going to -- I'm going to go borrow that desk phone to catch up on the family. Talk to you later, huh?
Julie: Nothing going on, my foot. Well, I've seen the way she looks at him, and there are dollar signs in her eyes.
Julie: That relationship is a disaster on its way to happening. Trust me.
Dr. Rojas: Blood pressure's normal, no fever. I can't find a thing wrong with you, ms. Lockhart.
Bonnie: Ha ha. That's what I've been telling everybody.
Dr. Rojas: Well, they'll have to believe you. I'm going to give you an official clean bill of health.
Bonnie: Speaking of bills, I have a slight... situation, you might call it.
Dr. Rojas: What's that?
Bonnie: No insurance.
Dr. Rojas: Ah.
Bonnie: But since this incident was a result of stress brought on by my volunteering at the hospital fundraiser, I don't see why I should have to pick up the tab, do you?
Dr. Rojas: I'll see what I can do.
Bonnie: You are too kind.
Dr. Rojas: You're free to go, ms. Lockhart.
Bonnie: Ha ha. Okay. Thank you, doctor.
Dr. Rojas: Take care of yourself.
Bonnie: Yeah. You too. Bonnie, I think it's time to stuff your stuff in. Ooh.
Mickey: Bonnie? What are you doing?
Mimi: Where is my mother? What is taking her so long?
Mickey: Well? What's going on, Bonnie?
Bonnie: Nothing. Nothing. I-I spilled these when I was getting up, and -- and since they're not sterile anymore -- I didn't want anybody getting sick or anything. How are you?
Mickey: Me? You're the one who fainted.
Bonnie: Oh, but guess what -- the doctor says I'm fit as a fiddle. Isn't that wonderful? Of course, I'm still pretty shaken up and all, and the doctor thought it might be a good idea if I wasn't alone tonight, so I was wondering, you know, if it would be okay, maybe -- maybe we could go back to your place and... maybe have another sleepover?
Julie: That woman is a gold digger, Doug. It couldn't be more obvious.
Doug: Well, honey, I don't think that this is any of our business.
Julie: Of course it's our business. Mickey is our family. That poor guy is still grieving over Maggie, and for that woman to be pursuing him at this time -- it's just horrible. It's unconscionable.
Doug: Even so, Mickey is a grown man, capable of making his own decisions.
Julie: Darling, there are times when a person just can't see.
Doug: Mickey will see when he wants to see. Now come on, Julie. Let's make everyone's day and just stay out of it.
Julie: No. No way.
Belle: Mom, how is he? How's Shawn?
Marlena: He's going to be just fine.
Belle: Oh. I'm so relieved.
Marlena: I know you are. I spoke to Dr. Marshall, and he assures me that he's fine. His x-rays are clear, and his lung capacity is normal, and... he can be released very soon.
Belle: Thank you so much, Mom. I was so worried about him. If anything ever happened to Shawn...
Marlena: Honey, honey, everything is just fine.
Belle: No, everything is not fine -- not until you and dad work things out.
Marlena: I'm sorry this is so hard on you.
Belle: Mom, I just want things to be the way they were when I was growing up, when my parents were still together and our family was happy.
Marlena: Well, honey, it just -- it isn't really that simple.
Belle: Please, Mom, just -- just talk to him. Just try and work things out.
Marlena: I'll talk to him.
Shawn-D: [Coughs] Hey. Everything's okay.
Belle: No, I don't think anything's ever going to be okay again.
Shawn-D: Belle, just --
Belle: Shawn, just hold me, okay?
Hope: Thanks, Tek.
John: I'm all stitched up, parts are operating. They said I'm going to live.
Hope: You're a very lucky man.
John: Yeah. What's going on with the investigation?
Hope: Well, actually, I just got off the phone with Tek from the station. The test results came back on the syringe that I found at the scene.
Hope: No. But wait a minute. They did I.D. the substance. The syringe contained remnants of a very powerful drug -- one that must've been used to send the tiger into his bloodthirsty rampage.
John: Yeah, I knew it. I knew that bucket was set up to fall on Tony.
Hope: Yeah, exactly, to make him a target. And since, uh, since the circus worker who was attacked confirmed that the key to the cage was stolen, we know now that the killer was set out to commit premeditated murder.
John: Tony's damn lucky to even be alive.
Celeste: But not for long. I sense great danger.
Lexie: Oh, my dear... dear brother. You have always been there for me even if I haven't been there for you. But from now on, I will be right by your side always. I can't lose you, Tony. I won’t.
Hope: Nothing bad is going to happen, Celeste. No one can get in that room except Tony’s doctors. And besides, we have a cop stationed right outside his cubicle.
Celeste: But, darling, that's not going to be enough.
John: Her vibes are making me crazy, I tell you.
Marlena: Hi, uh, I'm sorry to intrude. Um, I was going to get some work done in my office, but before I go, John, could I have a word with you, please?
Hope: I'm going to check on Shawn. Excuse me.
Marlena: Uh, it's Belle. I'm a bit worried about how this -- this problem in our relationship is affecting her.
John: The solution's simple. You let me move back in that penthouse so we can be a family again.
Marlena: Well, it- it's just -- it's much more complicated than that.
John: What's complicated about loving each other?
Marlena: I think we have to be as supportive of Belle as we can right now, do whatever we can to make life easy for her.
John: I agree.
Marlena: Good. Thanks for understanding.
John: That I don’t.
Shawn-D: So, is Tony awake yet?
Hope: Oh, honey, he should be soon, let's hope. Keep an eye on him, okay?
Belle: I'm going to keep both eyes on him.
Hope: All right. I'm going to go check in with Lexie.
Belle: You are so lucky to have parents that love each other.
Shawn-D: Hey, your parents love each other. They're just going through a rough time, that's all.
Belle: It's more than that, Shawn. For the first time in my life, I'm afraid that my parents' relationship might be over.
Mimi: Hey, what's taking so long? Is everything okay?
Mickey: Ahem, your mother's fine. Yeah. Well, I'll go get the release papers.
Bonnie: What's with you, girl, barging in like that? We were having a moment.
Mimi: A moment?
Bonnie: Yes. I was asking him to take me back to his place.
Mimi: Uggh. I knew it. I knew your fainting spell was a scheme to get closer to him.
Mimi: So it's pathetic, Mom.
Bonnie: Hey. I really care about that man.
Mimi: All right. Look, just try not to humiliate yourself, okay?
Bonnie: Have a little faith in your mother, huh?
Lexie: Any minute Tony should wake up. Soon, hope, soon we'll know who the killer is.
Celeste: Poor Anthony. His time is running out.
Mickey: Wait a second. The hospital didn't even charge you.
Bonnie: Must be my lucky day. Your place?
Mickey: Yeah, why not?
Julie: How can Uncle Mickey be so naive?
Doug: How can you be so cynical? Is it not just possible, remotely possible, that Bonnie Lockhart could be a nice person?
Julie: No. No, not even remotely.
Doug: Oh, for heaven's sake.
Victor: Enjoy your last moments of freedom, Nicole.
Nicole: I swear to you, Brady, m not the serial killer.
Brady: I know. I believe you. Nicole, my grandfather is wrong about you. You couldn't murder anyone; I know that about you. And I'm going to help you prove it.
Nicole: Oh... thank God someone believes I'm innocent. Thank God.
Belle: I'm sorry.
Shawn-D: For what?
Belle: I just -- I can't believe my parents' break-up is affecting me like this. I'm usually stronger than this.
Shawn-D: You're human, okay? I would be the same way.
Belle: I've never admitted this to anyone before.
Belle: If I were to lose my mom or my dad... I don't think I could make it.
Lexie: I have to go check on another patient. I'll meet you back in a few.
Hope: We'll be right here.
John: So... Tony’s going to pull through.
Hope: I just wish he'd wake up soon.
Hope: Celeste, what's wrong? Celeste. What's wrong?
Celeste: The killer -- the killer is about to strike again!
Tony: Oh, my God... I knew it was you. I knew it was you.
Marlena: You're just too smart for your own good, Tony.
“Next on Days Of Our Lives”
Brady: Nicole, you are innocent, aren't you?
Shawn-D: Tony was saying the killer being a woman, someone we all knew...
Belle: Do you have an idea who it is?
Shawn-D: No. Whoever it is... I hope they rot in hell.
John: The guard said some doctor had gone in there, and he didn't know who the hell she was.
Marlena: Prepare to meet your maker, count.
