Shawn-D: [Yawns]

[Water running]

Shawn-D: Jan?

Jan: Come on in, Shawn. I've been waiting for you.

Sami: Lucas, what are you doing? Oh, my God.

Lucas: What? What?

Sami: That thing touching me had better not be what I think it is.

[Doorbell rings]

Marlena: Who is it?

John: It's me, Doc -- your Husband.

Marlena: Oh, my gosh. You've come back.

Roman: Don't cry, Katie.

Kate: Roman?

Roman: Please. Please don't cry.

Kate: Oh, my God. Roman, is it really you? Are you really here?

Roman: Well, where else would I be the morning after our wedding night? The most -- the most incredible night of my life.

Kate: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. I-I had the most awful, awful dream.

Roman: What about?

Kate: I dreamt that -- I dreamt that you were dead, that you were murdered at our -- by the killer at our wedding reception.

Roman: Kate.

Kate: Please -- please, I just -- just tell me it's not true. Just tell me that you really are alive and that I'm never going to lose you, right?

Celeste: [Gasps] Oh, my God. Anthony was telling the truth. He's not the killer. They arrested the wrong person.

[Gasps] More innocent lives will be taken.

Roman: Kate...I love you so much. And look at me. I am right here. I've got you in my arms, and...believe me, I am very, very much alive.

Kate: [Sighs] It just seemed so real.

Roman: What's real is that I love you so very much, and I'm not going anywhere...ever.

Kate: Oh, my God. Ha ha.

Kate: Roman?

[Sobbing] Roman. You can't be gone. You promised me. You promised me we'd be together forever.

[Sighs] Promised...for all eternity. That's the only thing left for us now...and I know exactly what I have to do.

Marlena: [Sobs]

Marlena: John, uh...

John: You okay?

Marlena: I-I just didn't sleep very well, that's all.

John: For a second there, you looked kind of happy to see me.

Marlena: Oh. I was surprised. Um, I mean, I was surprised -- after last night, uh...

John: Yeah, well, I packed in such a hurry, I...forgot a couple things.

Marlena: Well, do -- you have a key. Why didn't you let yourself in?

John: You made it pretty clear last night you needed some time alone. I just didn't want to intrude.

Marlena: I really appreciate you understanding that. You -- you should just get whatever you need.

John: You know, I was kind of hoping that we could talk first. I was hoping that maybe after spending this night apart here that you had a little time to think --

Marlena: You know, nothing has -- has, um, has changed.

John: Marlena --

Marlena: Actually, I was going to go to church and -- and pray for Roman.

John: Oh, please. Don't do this. Don't push me away and put these walls up. I know that you're in pain, honey --

Marlena: Don't -- oh. I have to get to church and pray for my Husband. Why don't you go over to --

John: Your Husband?

Marlena: Come back. I'm going to change. Get what you need when you come back. I-I won't -- I won't be very long. Come back when you're...

John: Husband.

[Water running]

Belle: Shawn, where are you? Oh, the shower.

Jan: What's the matter, Shawn? Youíve never seen a naked girl before? Are you ready to have some fun? You poor, frustrated boy.

Belle: Oh, my God!

Jan: [Thinking] It may be a fantasy now, Shawn, but it won't be for long.

Belle: Shawn...what is it? What's wrong?

Shawn-D: Nothing. I'm just, um...I'm going to get a glass of water. Go back to sleep.

Belle: Okay.

Shawn-D: I swear someone was the watching me.

[Cans rattle]

Belle: Shawn, what's going on?

Shawn-D: Uh...

Belle: Are you sure nothing's wrong?

Shawn-D: Yeah, I just, um...I heard a noise. I-I think it's that radiator again.

Belle: Oh.

Shawn-D: Yeah. I'm sorry I woke you up. I know when you went to bed last night, you were upset. You probably didn't get much sleep.

Belle: You either.

Shawn-D: Yeah. Yeah. It's just...this still doesn't feel real.

Belle: Nothing about last night feels real -- like how much my parents were fighting, and my Mom blaming Roman's death on my Dad.

Shawn-D: Yeah, okay, listen, your Mom was emotional and in shock. We all were. But she loves your Dad, and I promise you they're going to be okay. You know -- you know what? They probably already are.

Belle: Yeah. I bet -- I bet you're right.

Shawn-D: Yeah.

Belle: You always know how to make me feel better. I wish there was something I can do to help.

Shawn-D: Hey, you know, just holding you in my arms helps me.

Belle: There's something else that you were right about.

Shawn-D: What's that?

Belle: Last night -- not making love. It's just -- it wasn't the right time. It was just me freaking out about everything that had happened and wanting to escape. But that's not how our first time should be. I mean, we've waited so long, it should be special, something we always want to remember.

Jan: [Thinking] Could she be any more nauseating? I've got to get Shawn away from this loser.

Roman's voice: You have to warn Bo. Tell my Brother the danger isn't over.

Belle: What are you looking for?

Shawn-D: Nothing. Your -- your pantry door was open. I don't know. It was distracting. Are you sure you're going to be all right?

Belle: I'm going to be fine. Besides, I think your Dad's going to be really happy to see you.

Shawn-D: Yeah. And, listen, you should go see your Mom and Dad. It'll put your mind at ease.

Belle: That's a good idea. I think I will.

Shawn-D: And that fight they had -- I'm sure it's over, it's completely forgotten.

Belle: I hope so, because now is the time where they need each other more than ever.

Shawn-D: Yeah, well, I know what you mean. I'm so lucky to have you. I love you so much.

Belle: I love you, too. I don't ever want to lose you.

Jan: [Thinking] Sorry, Belle, but that's pretty much a done deal.

Shawn-D: All right. If you need me, just call me on my cell phone.

Belle: Okay.

Shawn-D: I'll see you later.

Belle: You do the same thing. That's weird. What's my negligee doing down here on the floor?

Jan: Aw. Poor Shawn. You're hurting so much. Don't worry. I won't let you go through this alone.

Sami: God, Lucas, get away from me with that thing.

Lucas: What thing? You mean this thing?

Sami: Oh. Yes. What-- what's a hot water bottle doing in my bed?

Lucas: You, had kind of a rough night last night, Sami. You kept waking up. You were crying, you were shivering. I just thought this might comfort you a little bit.

Sami: Last night was the worst night of my life, Lucas. My Dad was -- my Dad was so important to me. He was the one man, the one person in the whole world that I could always count on, and he just was always there for me, and he always supported me, and -- and he would never give up on me, no matter what bad thing I did, and he -- he wanted so much for me to be happy, and he wanted me to be a good person, and...what's going to become of me, Lucas? What is going to happen to me?

Lucas: Shh. Stop. You're going to be okay.

Sami: [Sobbing]

Lucas: You are, Sami. I'm here.

Sami: This is too weird.

Lucas: What? What's weird?

Sami: You and me in -- in bed together.

Lucas: Wait a minute. I'm here because you wanted me to stay here. Will wanted me to stay here. That's why. I'm being a friend to you.

Sami: A friend? Why do you have to take your shirt off, then?

Lucas: Because I got hot, all right? Not that way. The radiator that you have -- it's terrible, and this water bottle in bed with us -- yeah, it got hot, so off with the P.Jís.

Sami: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Don't tell me you are completely naked under there.

Lucas: All right, fine, I won't tell you.

Sami: Oh, my God.

Lucas: I won't tell you. I'll show you.

Sami: No, just -- just put clothes on.

Lucas: Come on, Sami. Come on. Take a look. Take a look -- I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Sami: I don't want to see.

Lucas: Come on. Just trust me.

Sami: [Sighs] Those...boxers -- all those boxers Will got you.

Lucas: I remembered they made you laugh when you were scared and you kicked me out of my own bed. You almost forgot to --

Sami: Will -- I have to go check on him.

Lucas: No, Sami, he's fine. I was already with him earlier this morning. He went over to Ryan's to have a little breakfast and heading out, so I thought it was cool. It's just down the hall.

Sami: He wanted to go? He'd rather be with his friend than with his family?

Lucas: No, I don't think he'd rather do that. I just -- I think he wants us to spend some time together, you know? Alone.

Sami: Alone?

Lucas: Yeah. You know, he's going through that thing where he wants us to become closer and get along. I don't really think it's a bad idea.

Sami: What?

Lucas: Hey, why don't you just lay down, okay?

Sami: Lucas, what are you doing?

Lucas: I'm going to give you something that you need, whether you like it or not.

Sami: Excuse me?

Lucas: Just relax, close your eyes, and you will get a nice surprise.

Sami: This is so dumb. Lucas, whatever you are doing, I am not in the mood right now.

Lucas: All right, I'm ready. You can open your eyes now.

Sami: Oh, my gosh, this is a surprise.

Lucas: Yeah. What'd you think it was?

Sami: Where did you get all this stuff?

Lucas: What are you talking about? I got it from your kitchen.

Sami: You actually made me oatmeal and -- and blueberries and hot tea?

Lucas: Yeah.

Sami: I'm speechless.

Lucas: Well, that's okay. Just hurry up and eat before it gets cold. Looks good, huh? Did I do it right? How is it?

Sami: Just like my Father used to make it for me.

Lucas: Wait, Sami, I'm sorry. That's not why I did this. I didn't want to make you upset. You're going to get your toast all soggy.

Sami: I can't help it. It was bad enough losing my Grandma, but losing my Dad, too...I'm serious, Lucas, what is going to happen to me?

Lucas: You're going to grieve, you're going to be sad for a while, but then you're going to be okay. You will, I promise.

Sami: How do you know?

Lucas: You have a lot of people around you, Sami -- a lot of people that really care about you.

Sami: Right. You mean, like my mom married to that horrible John Black?

Lucas: You have your Brother Eric and Belle and your Grandpa Shawn. You got me and Will.

Sami: You? Since when?

Lucas: What do you mean since when? Who made this breakfast for you, huh? Who puts on funny-looking boxers just to put a smile on your face? Me, that's who.

Sami: All right. You can be sweet when you want to be.

Lucas: I'm real sweet. And you're darn lucky to have me.

Sami: Let's not go overboard.

Lucas: I don't know. Compared to most single moms, Sami, you have it really good. I'm right next door to you. I'm down the hall whenever you need me. I'm always here for Will. And you maybe don't like me as a person -- I can understand that -- but at least I'm a good Father.

Sami: When you're not spoiling him rotten.

Lucas: That's my job, all right? A kid his age needs to know that his Dad's in his corner. That's what I do. I'm in his corner.

Sami: He needs his Mom.

Lucas: He needs both of his parents getting along, working together as a team, not going at each other's throats all the time. That's what he needs.

Sami: That would be nice, wouldn't it?

Lucas: Yeah, it would. What do you think? Want to call a truce?

Kate: It looks like we had the same idea.

Marlena: I didn't expect to see you here, Kate.

Kate: I may not be religious, but Roman was.

Marlena: Yes, I know.

Kate: Well, since you're here, there is something I need to ask you. I was just talking to Mr. Milbauer, the funeral director, and he told me about the Brady family plot.

Marlena: What about it?

Kate: Well, he told me that there was a place for Roman, of course, and there is a place next to him for his Wife, but...your name is still on the plot. And even though you're no longer married, they'll need your okay to transfer it over.

Marlena: To you.

Kate: Yes. Yes. Who else?

Marlena: Kate. You -- you were married to Roman for...a few hours. I was married to him for years. We had children together.

Kate: I had children with Roman, as well.

Marlena: No, you had stolen DNA. You didn't realize that you were Rex and Cassie's parents until very recently.

Kate: That's true. We never did know our children. We never knew a married life because that was stolen from us. We never had the chance, but I am Roman's Wife. And when my time comes, I think it's only right that I rest in peace beside him... beside my Husband. So I would appreciate it very much if you would talk to Mr. Milbauer.

Marlena: I don't know. I'll have to think about it.

Kate: Wait. I really don't understand this. What is there to think about? You're married to John. You'd want to be with him.

Marlena: I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Kate: Don't tell me that you and John -- Marlena, I know that you are upset and you're angry, and we all are. But don't lose your Husband over this.

John: Hey, sweetheart.

Belle: Hey, Dad.

John: I wasn't expecting you.

Belle: Well, I brought some breakfast for you and Mom. You know, coffee, muffins. I just thought that after last night, it'd probably be a good idea for us to spend some time together as a family.

John: Well, that's, uh, that was a nice thought, sweetheart.

Belle: So, how is Mom doing, anyway? She must be feeling pretty bad, you know, about the things she said to you last night. But you know she didn't mean it, right, Dad? She was just upset.

John: Izzy --

Belle: Is Mom upstairs?

John: No, no, she's not. She, uh, she went to church.

Belle: Oh, I'll just wait for her.

John: No, you wonít. I got to tell you something, sweetheart. Your Mom and I -- we're taking kind of a little break.

Belle: What do you mean?

John: As of last night, I moved out.

Roman: You have to tell him. Tell my Brother Bo you know the truth.

Celeste: Truth? What are you talking about?

Roman: That they have arrested the wrong person.

Maggie: He's right, dear. Tony DiMera is innocent. He didn't commit any of these terrible murders, not a single one.

Celeste: Thank God.

Roman: You know that, Celeste. You know it.

Maggie: Yes. Of course you do...just as you know who the real killer is.

Belle: You moved out? You actually left?

John: It isn't what I wanted.

Belle: I don't -- I don't believe this. I mean, you -- you had a fight. You -- you were supposed to work things out by this morning. Everything was supposed to be fine.

John: I was hoping that, too, baby.

Belle: Well, have you -- have you seen Mom this morning? Have you talked to her? Because she might've changed her mind.

John: No, she hasn't changed her mind, and she doesn't want to talk about it.

Belle: So that's it -- you're just going to leave?

John: Your Mother thinks it's for the best right now, for the time being.

Belle: No. Dad, you cannot let this happen. Please, you cannot let our family fall apart.

John: Oh, Izzy...

Kate: What is going on with you? This is no time to be pushing away John or your friends. Why are you doing this?

Marlena: I can't help what I feel.

Kate: And what exactly is that?

Marlena: I could've stopped all this -- all of it from happening.

Kate: Stopped what?

Marlena: The marriage. Roman's death.

Kate: Oh, you make it sound like it's one and the same.

Marlena: I knew that Roman marrying you was a mistake.

Kate: My marrying Roman had nothing to do with his being killed. He was a cop, and he was a target. And I realize now that Tony would've found a way to get to him no matter what we did or what we didn't do. But at least we had a chance to exchange marriage vows and to pledge our love to each other forever. And I am Mrs. Roman Brady, and no one is ever, ever going to take that away from me. And it kills you to hear that, doesn't it? Why? Why do you still feel that you're Roman's Wife?

Marlena: When I married Roman, it was right here in this church. And in my heart, I thought that marriage would last forever. And if I hadn't let him go, it would have. And all this pain and suffering would've been avoided.

Kate: You don't know that.

Marlena: I do.

Kate: Please. I don't want this to cost us our friendship. There are too many people we need to think about -- our family, our children, Will. I'm going to go check on him. Would you like to come along?

Marlena: I think I will. I don't want Sami upset. She's devastated.

Kate: I am not about to upset her. In fact, it may be of interest to you that my last conversation with Roman before he died -- he asked me not to give up on her. He wanted me to try to help her.

Marlena: I can take care of my Daughter.

Kate: Of course you can. And of course I understand why you would be so protective towards her, especially now.

Marlena: Why especially now?

Kate: Well, you see, I am worried -- I am worried that Sami and Lucas are becoming close...and closer. And I am more afraid than ever that Sami is going to use my Son to try to destroy me.

Lucas: I don't want to fight anymore, all right? I want to put all the bad stuff behind us, once and for all, for Will's sake. Sami, don't you want your Son to be happy?

Sami: Of course I do. But what are you suggesting, that we keep having sleep overs, that we keep...sharing the same bed? Wait a second. I know what you're up to now. You're using Will to try to get me into bed.

Lucas: You know what? You really think a lot about yourself, don't you? I am not trying to get you in the sack, you got that?

Sami: Then why are you always walking around with your shirt off, flexing your muscles and showing off your six-pack abs?

Lucas: Oh, I guess someone noticed. Someone's been looking, right?

Sami: Now you're the one who's full of yourself.

Lucas: I'm full of myself? Come on, admit it, you've thought about it.

Sami: Thought about what?

Lucas: It.

Sami: I don't know what you're talking about.

Lucas: Oh, you don't, huh? Fine. All right.

Lucas: There! Right there! I just caught you!

Sami: Caught me what?

Lucas: Don't "caught me what?" You were checking me out. You want me, don't you? Don't you, Sami?

Sami: Just get away from me.

Lucas: Come on, admit it.

Sami: Stop it.

Lucas: You want me, and you know it.

Sami: You are never going to get me to admit that in a million years.

Lucas: Oh, really? That sounds like a little challenge to me.

Sami: Ahh! Stop it!

Lucas: Come on. Come on. Oh, ticklish, huh? Ticklish and you want me, it seems, huh? Oh, that's great.

Sami: Oh, you are gonna pay for this!

Lucas: No, no, no, no.

Sami: No, Lucas, stop it!

Lucas: Come on, admit it. You want me so much.

Sami: [Screaming and laughing hysterically]

Lucas: Come on!

Sami: Lucas!

Lucas: No, no! Admit it! You want me! You love me! Come on! Come on!

Sami: Stop it!

Lucas: Come on! Coochie-coo! Coochie-coochie...

Celeste: Roman, Maggie, why are you doing this? Why do you torment me like this?

Roman: I told you why. Because you know who the killer is.

Maggie: And you have to warn everyone. Poor dear, you're in the same boat that I was in. The killer's identity is locked deep inside your subconscious.

Celeste: But I have no idea.

Maggie: You will, Celeste. You will do whatever it takes to discover the truth.

Roman: Before another victim dies.

Celeste: But I don't know. I don't know who the killer is.

Roman: Celeste, think. You have the key to solving this.

Maggie: Youíre the only one who can.

Sami: I don't hear you.

Marlena: Sami.

Sami: Mom?

Sami: What are you doing -- how did you get in here? Why didn't you knock?

Marlena: We did knock. Nobody answered.

Kate: We heard screams from inside, so we tried the door, and it was open.

Lucas: Will must have left the door open again.

Marlena: We were afraid something awful might have happened.

Kate: And apparently it has.

Lucas: Mom, just take it easy, okay?

Kate: I need to talk to you right now.

Sami: Oh, God.

Kate: What are you thinking? I just lost my Husband last night, and now I have to deal with this, my worst nightmare come true?

Lucas: It's not what you think, okay?

Kate: Oh, my God. Every time I turn around, you and Sami are together. And now I come in here, and you're romping half-naked on the bed with her, and her Father is not even 12 hours dead.

Lucas: Mom, I can explain this. I can explain it.

Kate: There are no explanations necessary. This just needs to stop, okay? Right now -- right now, before it goes any further.

Marlena: Sami, I understand that you're distraught about your Father. Honey, this is not healthy. You're just feeling vulnerable, that's all.

Sami: Oh, Mom, I don't want to talk about Lucas. Believe me, that's not important. I want to talk about you. What's going on with you and John?

Marlena: I can't discuss that with you, sweetie.

Sami: Why not?

Marlena: It's private, between my Husband and me.

Sami: In the eyes of God, my Father was your Husband, and he died last night. You are a widow now. You're grieving. You shouldn't be with John.

Marlena: Honey, he's moved out. He's gone.

Belle: [Sobbing]

John: Oh...come on. Sit with your old man for a second.

Belle: I just don't understand, Dad. How could things get so bad that Mom would actually want you to move out?

John: I don't know what the hell's going on. I-I -- I wish I did. I donít.

Belle: Oh, my God. The premonitions.

John: What?

Belle: Celeste's predictions. They've all been coming true, haven't they?

John: Oh, I suppose, but...there's nothing to worry about now. The killer's been caught. Tony's behind bars. He's not getting out, so everyone is safe now.

Belle: Except for Mom. She's not safe, is she?

John: Come on, baby, of course your Mother's safe. Why would you even say that?

Belle: Because of that one prediction -- the only one that hasn't come true.

John: Oh, you don't mean that crazy thing about Caroline Brady?

Belle: Dad, after Mrs. Brady was killed, when she appeared to Celeste, she said something, something that no one wants to believe. But maybe Mom finally believes it, and that's why --

John: Isabella --

Belle: I have to know, Daddy. Are you going to do what Celeste said you would? Are you going to kill my Mom?

Sami: Mom, I'm so sorry. This must be a painful decision for you. I know it must be hard, but it was the right thing to do. You never loved John, not really. Your heart was always still with Daddy. And I'm just so sad that it took finally losing him for you to realize that.

Kate: I will not allow that woman to destroy you to get back at me for marrying her Father.

Lucas: Mom, please.

Kate: No, no. Listen to me. I have already lost my Husband. I am not going to lose my son.

Sami: Don't worry, Mom. We're gonna help each other get through this. We're gonna make things right for Daddy, no matter what we have to do.

[Thinking] So you'd better get ready, Kate. I've finally had my revenge on John, and now it's gonna be your turn.

Celeste: I'm the only one? What do you mean?

Maggie: Somewhere deep in your subconscious is the missing piece to the puzzle. Do I ever know what that feels like.

Roman: And with that missing piece, you, and you alone, can I.D. the real killer

Celeste: But...if the killer knows that -- look, I don't mean to offend you, Maggie, darling, but I don't want to share your fate, okay?

Maggie: Come on, Celeste, you're far too honorable a person to put yourself first.

Roman: Celeste, there will be many more victims if you don't do everything you can to stop them.

Maggie: You have to find the answer, Celeste. You must solve the mystery before it's too late.

ďOn the next Days of Our Lives...Ē

Celeste: Tony won't harm me.

Lexie: How do you know that, Mom?

Celeste: The police have arrested the wrong man.

Chloe: Hello? What? I don't believe it.

Hope: God, Uncle Mickey.

Bo: What are you doing here?

Mickey: I'm going to be Tony's attorney.

Shawn-D: She went this way.
