Kate: There you are.

Philip: Mom. Hey. Come here.

Kate: I've been looking all over the place for you.

Philip: Are you by yourself?

Kate: No, I'm going to meet Roman.

Philip: Oh, okay.

Kate: What about you?

Philip: I just came with some friends from the base.

Kate: Oh. Ah... is that young lady your date?

Philip: No, I don't have a date, mom.

Kate: Okay. And you'd prefer your mom just butt out, right?

Philip: Uh, no, you said it. I didn't say it, okay?

Kate: Come on, you know I just want to see you happy with someone special.

Philip: Yeah, yeah, I know, but it's not happening right now, mom. That's all.

Kate: Okay. Well, if it could happen, do you have anyone in mind?

Belle: Hey. Big celebration later tonight, huh?

Brady: Tink, what's going on?

Belle: This place looks great.

Brady: Thank you. And I've got some amazing talent lined up, so you'd better reserve a table before all the good spots are gone.

Belle: Actually, I was hoping the owner would invite me to sit with him.

Brady: Sure, yeah, we could do that, but I'm not exactly Shawnís favorite person.

Belle: Not a problem.

Brady: What, you two don't have plans to celebrate the bicentennial?

Belle: Actually, we don't have plans, period.

Roman: What, are you trying to bring down another crooked city official?

Shawn-D: You got anyone in mind?

Roman: Not at the moment.

Shawn-D: Why don't you give it a shot?

Roman: No, no, no. The golden arm's not as golden as it used to be.

Shawn-D: Oh, come on, go for it.

Roman: All right, give me that ball, man.

Shawn-D: Hey.

Roman: I've still got it.

Shawn-D: I think the golden arm is just fine, uncle Roman.

Roman: I think I'll quit while I'm ahead, though.

Shawn-D: Are you on your way to the park right now?

Roman: Yeah. As a matter of fact, Kate and I decided we're going to celebrate the Salem bicentennial together and then hang around and watch the fireworks afterward. How about you and Belle?

Shawn-D: Don't know. I'm still working on it.

[ Clang ]

Roman: You and Belle having problems, are you?

Lucas: So, you're all dolled up to dine with a guy who almost cost you your life. When are you going to wise up? Huh? You know what? I'll tell you what I care. I don't care if you date Attila the Hun. I just want you to see Tony for what he really is. Yeah, he might be good for, what, necklaces and flowers. But that's crap. He doesn't care about you. You know what we call this, Sami? Us guys call this a pity date.

Larry: Psst! Hey, baby. The action's over here. Come and get it. Take your clothes off and come join me. Ha ha ha ha!

Nicole: You know, you really know how to turn on the charm.

Larry: What, I left off the onions. What more do you want?

Nicole: A safer place to meet than a public park.

Larry: Best place to hide is out in plain sight.

Nicole: You hope.

Larry: Can we just relax, huh? Everybody thinks ol' Larry breathed his last out on the highway. And as far as the world's concerned, Mrs. Victor Kiriakis is getting it on with a tall, dark, handsome stranger.

Nicole: Uh... first thing's first.

Larry: Ah. Well, is everything ready for me to whack that hubby of yours tonight?

[ Doorbell ringing ]

Victor: About time.

Tony: Well, thank you for getting here so quickly.

Victor: Now, what possible business do you think we have to discuss after the way you tried to double-cross me?

Tony: I thought I was the injured party here.

Victor: Oh, don't play innocent with me. You and that tramp Maya -- you used me. You betrayed my trust. The I.S.A. should put you both away for life!

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives.

Tony: Listen, Victor, our partnership is far too valuable to me and to the Dimera organization for me to do anything to jeopardize it.

Victor: Oh, bull.

Tony: Maya Leano used both of us. Not only did she double-cross me, she planted a bomb on my yacht, hoping I'd blow to smithereens.

Victor: I'm not leaving here until I get some answers. You two were involved in something besides stolen diamonds. What was it that was so potentially valuable that she would be willing to kill you to keep it all for herself?

Nicole: My part of the deal is covered. I got Victor to agree to come to the Blue Note for his grandson's big celebration. The rest is up to you.

Larry: Don't sweat it.

Nicole: No mistakes this time.

Larry: Don't sweat it, all right? As soon as it gets dark, I'll be in the parking lot of the Blue Note. The place will be lit up like a roman candle -- I can't miss. I'll whack Victor as soon as he heads toward the club.

Nicole: As soon as... Victor hits the ground, take off. His henchman ,Nico, might be with him.

Larry: Don't worry about me, all right? I'll be at the safe house waiting for my... just desserts.

Nicole: I'll contact you when it's safe.

Larry: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Contact me? No, no, no. Don't contact me. No, you're going to show up in person, because that was our deal.

Nicole: Getting caught by the cops was not the deal.

Larry: A taste of things to come.

Lucas: You don't get it, do you? Dimera is paying down his guilt. He's making nice because you're so helpless and you're so pitiful. You know what? As soon as you get your little voice back, you're going to be the same heartless, selfish shrew everybody knows you are. And then you won't find Tony for dust, will you? So you go ahead. You go ahead. Sell yourself short, for all I care. 'Cause, frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

Lucas: You can't say I didn't warn you!

Shawn-D: Well, what makes you think Belle and I are having problems?

Roman: Well, you' here, and she's not.

Shawn-D: Yeah, actually, well, we're supposed to catch up a little later. I'm just trying to figure out something special we can do tonight -- something different.

Roman: Well, do the math. You know, the Salem bicentennial doesn't come around every year.

Shawn-D: Yeah, I know. I know, but hanging out with a ton of people tonight -- it's just not what we need, especially since I've been spending a lot of time with another woman. She's been hanging out with another guy.

Kate: I know you, Philip. And having someone special in your life has always been very important to you.

Philip: Well, maybe I've changed, mom. I mean, the way my life is right now, it wouldn't even be fair for me to get involved with somebody. All my time and focus goes to being a marine.

Kate: Honey, you are not going to be a marine forever.

Philip: I don't know. I think I could be happy making the military my career.

Kate: Well, Victor is counting on you joining Titan and taking over there someday.

Philip: Come on, that's -- that's Brady's thing, not mine.

Kate: Whoa. Well, I wouldn't be so quick to close the door on making millions, that's for sure.

Philip: Well, I mean, there was a time when that was the end-all, be-all, but not anymore. I mean, the things that matter to me now are different, you know? Honor, integrity, commitment.

Kate: I am very impressed, Philip. Not only with what a wonderful and mature man you have become, but how deftly can you change a subject.

Philip: Mom, what -- what are you talking about?

Kate: Which makes me think that what I have been thinking is correct. There is a woman. Mm-hmm, and I think I also know who she is. Belle Black. Am I right?

Brady: All right, Belle, come on. Talk to me. What is going on with you and Shawn?

Belle: It's not a big deal, Brady. Everything's okay.

Brady: Mm-hmm.

Belle: No. Really. It's just me acting insecure, but what else is new, Brady?

Brady: Is he making you feel insecure?

Belle: No, no. Not intentionally. But Shawn's been having this amazing adventure with a fascinating and exotic woman.

Brady: Maya Leano is a criminal.

Belle: I know that, but she's drop-dead gorgeous. And I'm just...me. I don't know how to compete with that, Brady.

Brady: Let's face it, Belle. You canít.

Nicole: I have to go to the Blue Note.

Larry: Hey... leaving so soon?

Nicole: Just, uh, save your energy for the job.

Larry: Hey, relax, all right? Before we know it, Victor will be bye-bye. And as soon as he hits the dirt... you and I hit the sack.

Nicole: I, uh, I gotta go.

Larry: Bye-bye.

Nicole: I would rather be dead than have Larry Welch touch me again.

Tony: You know, any business interest I may have had with Maya -- dead.

Victor: You're too shrewd to pull out now. She's behind bars. You're in the catbird seat.

Tony: Not interested.

Victor: Don't give me that.

Tony: You know, Victor, when I thought I was going to die, I had a rather humbling life review. And then when I woke up and I realized that I had been saved, I thought to myself, you know, I've got to rearrange my lifestyle.

Victor: Considering the priesthood, are you?

Tony: Oh. Ha ha. No. Nothing that drastic. I want my children to look up at their father with respect -- a role model. So I decided anything that doesn't involve -- that I cannot share with my children -- I will pull out, whether it be professional or otherwise.

Victor: Family is everything.

Tony: Okay, so now that we're talking about family, let me ask you this. Your relationship with your son, Bo -- how did -- how did you come to a meeting of minds and build a strong relationship? I mean, he's, uh, an ex-cop. His world is black and white.

Victor: Bo and I have an unspoken agreement. We respect each other, even if we don't see eye to eye.

Tony: Well, perhaps we can use the same philosophy when it comes to our future business dealings.

Victor: Possibly. As long as we don't fall prey to the charms of another Maya Leano.

Tony: Ha ha ha ha. Shall we have a drink to that?

Victor: Why not? I must say, I am glad to see that you're still among the living.

Tony: What are you saying to me, Victor -- that this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship?

Victor: Let's not get carried away. But, still, there is nothing like a little healthy competition.

Tony: Yes. Competition.

Roman: Wait a minute. Whoa. You and Belle are dating other people? Since when?

Shawn-D: Not exactly. She's just been spending a lot of time with Philip lately.

Roman: Why?

Shawn-D: Why? Well, I haven't exactly had a lot of free time lately, working for Mickey at the law office. Especially since he assigned me to the Maya Leano case.

Roman: Ah. Yeah, I understand Miss Leano is the target of a major I.S.A. investigation.

Shawn-D: Yeah. She's in big trouble, for sure.

Roman: How did you pick up on her illegal activities -- through the law firm's investigation of her?

Shawn-D: No. Not exactly. Here, you want to, uh, give it another shot?

Roman: No, no, no, no. You go ahead.

[ Clang ]

Roman: How did you, uh, figure out that she was involve in this major smuggling operation?

Shawn-D: It was by accident, really. I had just gone down to her office, and I overheard her talking on the phone. She said something about a boat, and it was later on that day that I found out that the Dimera yacht had blown up. I just sort of put two and two together.

Roman: Uh-huh, but you didn't call the police.

Shawn-D: Well, there wasn't any time. I was there at her office, I was afraid that she was going to get away. And she trusted me, uncle Roman. Believe me, it was just easier to snag her then and deliver her to the authorities later. Ah. Empty.

Roman: Tell you what. Tell you what. Why don't we go to the park, I'll buy you a hot dog, and you can fill me in some more on this, uh, infamous Miss Leano.

Shawn-D: All right, you know what? The hot dog sounds good, but the case is closed.

Roman: Not till all the facts are in, nephew.

Shawn-D: What, it's an I.S.A. matter now, right? And plus, I better be trying to find Belle, you know what I'm saying?

Roman: Yeah, I know what you're saying, and tell you what. Don't you ever let it be said that I got in the way of true love.

Shawn-D: I would never say that, uncle Roman. I'll catch you later, all right?

Roman: All right. You take care. (to himself): Yeah, right. You just happened to run into this major smuggling operation. Don't have time to tell the police. You're getting more like your dad every day.

Philip: Um, Belle is Shawn Brady's girlfriend, and she always has been.

Kate: Well, are you attracted to her or not?

Philip: Just stop, okay? Stop.

Kate: Honey, you know I just want to see you happy, and I happen to believe that you and Belle are perfect for each other.

Philip: Really.

Kate: Mm-hmm.

Philip: Is that just like you happened to believe my sister Billie was perfect for Bo? Look, mom, you did everything you could to break up Bo and hope, because Billie wanted Bo and you wanted your daughter to be happy, and it was all wrong.

Kate: You know something? Hope and Bo have never thrown what I did back at me, and yet my own son does?

Philip: Mom --

Kate: And they've never tried to turn Roman against me. In fact, they've done everything they could to make it happen.

Philip: Well, good. That's the way it should be.

Kate: Why are we suddenly talking about my love life?

Philip: Well, because the pressure's off me now.

Kate: You know, you're becoming more like Victor. And just like him, you have mastered the art of avoiding questions that you don't want to answer and making me feel guilty when I go there, so congratulations. Your father would be very proud of you.

Philip: Yeah, well, I would thank you, but something tells me it wasn't a compliment. Was it?

Belle: You think that Shawn's bored with me and that I'm a goody two-shoes?

Brady: Mm, no, Belle.

Belle: Brady, you just said that I couldn't compete with Maya.

Brady: What I'm saying is that you shouldn't even try to compete. Because you don't have to, Belle. Not with Maya, not with any other girl. Shawn loves you just the way you are. He chose you, remember?

Belle: That doesn't mean it's forever. People change their minds, haven't you noticed?

Brady: All right, obviously nothing I say is going to help you out, so maybe you should just talk to Shawn.

Belle: I did. I mean, I have.

Brady: And?

Belle: He said it was stupid of me to worry, but what else is he going to say? He doesn't want to hurt me.

Brady: What, and lying to you is not hurtful?

Belle: Yeah, but I wouldn't know he was lying to me, not until after --

Brady: Would you just stop? Shawn is the lucky one. When are you going to realize that? He does not deserve you.

Belle: Brady, you're my brother. Of course you're going to say that.

Brady: Anyone is going to say that -- anyone who knows you. All right, listen, you are a beautiful girl -- inside and out. You've got to know that. Why do you doubt yourself?

Belle: Don't know. But I'm really glad you donít. That means a lot to me, Brady.

(Samiís Daydream)

[ Knock on door ]

Lucas: Sami, it's Lucas.

Lucas: I'm really sorry about sounding off the way I did earlier. Could you please just open the door?

Lucas: Thanks. Look, you could throw another magazine at me if you want if it'll make you feel better. You're not going to make this easy for me, are you? I don't blame you. I've been a first-prize jerk. And a liar. You are so hot. You really are. You are -- you're gorgeous. Oh, hell, please -- please don't go out with Tony. Go out with me. I want you. I'm in love with you... and it's not because you're the mother of my son or because you have a body to die for... even though that doesn't hurt. It's the way you make me feel. You make me feel so alive. No woman ever has made me feel that way. I love you. You...

Lucas: And only you.

Lucas: I love you. And I know you love me. I can see it in your eyes.

[ Telephone rings ]

[ Beep ]

Sami's voice (on the answering machine): Hey, it's Sami and Will. Leave a message at the beep.

Tony: Sami, I know you can't answer, but I wanted you to just know I'll be picking you up in an hour. I'm looking forward to it more than you'll ever know. But just wear something casual.

[ Beep ]

Lucas: So, you're actually going to go through with this date?

Tony: My personal life is none of your business. Now, I want you to look at these real estate files. I'm selling Echelon.

Lucas: You're what?

Tony: You heard me.

Lucas: You're selling?

Tony: Echelon. Yes.

Lucas: But why? It's probably one of the hottest businesses in Salem right now. I mean, why would you want to sell something that's turning such a big profit? I don't understand.

Tony: I'm doing it because of my daughter. I discovered she had taken a job there. And when I confronted her about it, I told her I wanted her to quit. She threw back at me that I was being a hypocrite, being that I own the place and not wanting her to work there. So now I donít.

Lucas: I see. Well, I'll get in touch with your attorneys, and we'll get these agreements underway.

Tony: Not so fast.

Lucas: Yeah.

Tony: So, Lucas, did you know anything about it? Did you know that my daughter took a job at Echelon? Answer me, damn it!

Philip: Mom, Belle and I are friends. We have been since we were kids, and that's the end of story.

Kate: Philip --

Philip: Your date's here.

Roman: Hey, you two.

Philip: Hey.

Kate: Hi!

Roman: How you doing, Philip? Good to see you.

Philip: You too. Have fun tonight, okay, you guys?

Roman: You here with anybody?

Philip: Don't start, okay?

Roman: All right. What did I say?

Kate: Not you. I was putting him through the third degree about his love life, and he's a little angry.

Roman: Well, maybe there's nothing to tell.

Kate: Oh, there's plenty to tell. Believe me, I know my son, and since he came back to Salem, he's been keeping secrets about everything.

Belle: Hey, hey, Brady, why don't you sing?

Brady: Because I don't want to drive away my customers.

Belle: What? And you were mad at me when I was doubting myself? Brady, you are an amazing singer.

[ Cellular phone rings ]

Brady: Look, you know what? Go ahead. I have work to do.

[ Ringing ]

Belle: Hello?

Shawn-D: Thinking about me?

Belle: Where are you?

Shawn-D: The park. The whole town's here. Bandstand's set up. There's a bunch of booths. Only missing one thing.

Belle: What's that?

Shawn-D: You. How soon can you get down here?

Belle: Um, 20 minutes.

Shawn-D: I'll be by the bandstand.

Belle: I'll meet you there. Bye. Brady, hey. Shawn just called. He wants to meet me.

Brady: Are you serious?

Belle: Yeah.

Brady: That's great. Well, go.

Belle: Thanks for the talk.

Brady: Anytime. Come here. Give me a hug. And remember -- Shawn is the lucky one.

Belle: Yeah, yeah. Hey, good luck, okay? The Blue Note's really going to take off tonight. I can feel it.

Brady: Thank you. Now beat it.

Belle: Okay. I'll see you later. Ooh.

Brady: Where the hell have you been?

Nicole: I -- I had a few last-minute details to take care of... make sure tonight goes out with a bang.

Lucas: Boss, if I would have known that Cassie wanted to get a job at Echelon, I would have told you about that. Definitely. I know how protective you are. I'm a parent myself.

Tony: Yes, so you are. Well, since Echelon is not going to be part of your future duties, you'll be able to spend more time with your son, won't you?

Lucas: Yeah.

Tony: You'll also be able to pick up some of the slack in my other business interests.

Lucas: Like your involvement with Maya Leano?

Tony: Any businesses with Maya Leano, being that she's out of commission, are put on hold.

Lucas: Well, I suppose I could, um, ask around, you know, see if I can find out what kind of testimony she's giving.

Tony: Yes. I'd appreciate anything you can get. Now, if you'll excuse me, I do have to make my dinner arrangement..

Lucas: Right.

Tony: (on the phone): Ah, Monsieur Henri? Yes, I'm calling to check on my arrangements for this evening. Ha ha ha ha! Yes, yes, dinner for two. Very private. Thank you.

Nicole: Vodka, straight up.

Brady: Make that two -- with orange juice, and hold the vodka, please.

Man: Coming right up, boss.

Nicole: I need something to calm my nerves.

Brady: And I need a partner who is stone cold sober. Take a look at this.

Nicole: What is it?

Brady: It the schedule for this evening -- you know, the order in which the performers will be performing. I thought you wanted this job, Nicole.

Nicole: I do.

Man: Here you go.

Brady: Thanks.

Nicole: For nothing.

Brady: This is a very big night.

Nicole: You think I don't know that?

Brady: What the hell is the matter with you?

Nicole: It's Victor, all right? He's supposed to be here, and I haven't heard from him. He has to show.

Brady: Well, maybe it would be better if he didnít.

Nicole: Don't say that.

Brady: Oh, what, like you're going to miss his presence? All you two do is make each other miserable.

Nicole: Just because you see it that way --

Brady: You know it's true. Stop it.

Nicole: It's my fault, I suppose?

Brady: I'm not saying that, Nicole. I'm -- my grandfather is authoritarian. He may be old school.

Nicole: He is a bully.

Brady: And you're selfish and obnoxious.

Nicole: Watch it!

Brady: And funny and essentially kind, and, hey, maybe even loving, if you gave yourself half a chance. That's a compliment. You need to smile.

Nicole: Thank you.

Brady: You're welcome.

Lucas: Hey, thanks for seeing me on such short notice, Mickey. I appreciate that.

Mickey: No problem. What can I do for you, Lucas?

Lucas: Well, I'd like some information on Maya Leano. I understand that you're representing her for her civil suit.

Mickey: No. Not anymore. The suit was dropped when Miss Leano was arrested.

Lucas: Oh. Will you be handling her for her criminal case as well?

Mickey: Lucas, never take advantage of family, certainly not for the Dimeras.

Lucas: Wait a minute. That's not what I'm doing.

Mickey: No, you're trying to pump me for information to take back to Tony.

Lucas: Well, what if I am? He is my boss. What's the harm in that?

Mickey: Lucas, you know the answer to that. I'm not trying to tell you what it is.

Belle: Hey, Philip, wait up!

Philip: Hey. What's up, Belle?

Belle: Hey, um, have you seen Shawn? I'm supposed to meet him here.

Philip: No.

Belle: Well, he has to be around here somewhere. He called me from here.

Philip: Uh, well, maybe he's hiding from the press. He said they've been kind of tracking him down, looking for stuff on Maya.

Belle: Yeah, I think that's eased up a little

Philip: Good. Maybe now we can finally move past this and get on with our lives, right?

Belle: Yeah, I wonder if things will ever be the same.

Philip: Belle, I'm sorry if I caused any problems between you and Shawn. Just, I mean, you know, the mission I was on, the way you guys got involved -- it was just --

Belle: No, no, you were never a problem. Maya was, and she still is.

Philip: What are you talking about?

Belle: Well, isn't it obvious? She's a gorgeous and exciting woman. No wonder Shawn got sucked in. Why wouldn't he?

Philip: Whoa, whoa. Back up for a second. What do you mean, Shawn got sucked in?

Belle: It's not serious. He said it wasn't.

Philip: Are you having doubts about Shawn?

Belle: No, no, I -- I love Shawn with all of my heart and soul, and I know he loves me.

Philip: Well, so what's the problem?

Belle: It's just there are different ways of loving someone.

Philip: Yeah...

Belle: Well, Shawn and I have this fantastic friendship, but we're not kids anymore, you know? And the physical part of love is important, too. After seeing Shawn with Maya, I just -- I don't know what to do, that's all.

Philip: Are you wondering whether you should sleep with Shawn to hold on to him?

Belle: Philip, I really don't want to discuss this with you.

Philip: You brought it up.

Belle: Okay, well, I wish I hadn't, because it's between Shawn and me.

Philip: So? I mean, Belle, if something's upsetting you, maybe I can help. We've always told each other everything, haven't we?

Belle: Yeah, Philip, but this is different. It's private.

Philip: Shawn hasn't been pressuring you to sleep with him, has he?

Belle: No, and he wouldn't do that.

Philip: Okay, I didn't think so. I mean, no guy would if he really loved you, and Shawn does. You got to trust that.

Belle: I do. I do. It's just... I need to face the facts that there are going to be women out there who could be and will be attracted to Shawn, and they don't have the same hang-ups I do about marriage and waiting.

Philip: No, no. Hold it. Hold it, hold it. Okay, they're not hang-ups. And any guy would be lucky to have you in his life. Are you kidding me? I mean, you're not only beautiful, you're also the most honest person I know. You know, and you're kind of funny, and you're smart and giving, and you're --

Belle: Okay, okay.

Philip: No, I'm serious.

Belle: No, that's enough.

Philip: I mean it, Belle.

Belle: No, I know you mean it. You know, you're starting to sound like Brady, which doesn't surprise me, 'cause you've always been like a brother to me.

Philip: Yeah. Well, um, no more of that self-doubt, okay?

Belle: Okay, I'll try.

Philip: Good.

Belle: Thank you.

Shawn-D: I can't leave you two alone for a second. What are you putting your heads together about this time?

Lucas: You know, my choice of my employment is my business. I'm not breaking the law.

Mickey: No, not yet, anyway.

Lucas: And I shouldn't have to defend myself to my own family.

Mickey: Hey, change employers, there won't be anything to defend.

Lucas: I am doing what's right for me. You may not like it, but it's really none of your business, Mickey. I'm sorry.

Mickey: Hey...Lucas! You are the one who asked for this meeting, not I.

Lucas: You're right. I apologize. I appreciate your concern. But it's my life. I know what I'm doing.

Mickey: Do you?

Lucas: Yeah.

Mickey: Okay. Your aunt Maggie is your A.A. Sponsor, and she worries when you don't even return her calls.

Lucas: I know. I will. You know, I -- tell her -- tell her I'll get in touch with her soon.

Mickey: Good. Okay. Bring Will. Come over for dinner one night. We'd enjoy that.

Lucas: I'd like that, too. Thanks.

Mickey: Hey, don't thank me. You're family. And we all love you, Lucas -- all of us.

[Knock on door ]

Tony: Hello. My, don't you look lovely?

Tony: Ha ha. Where are we going? It's a surprise, but one that I think you will enjoy. Shall we?

Brady: You know, Nicole, not so long ago you were in a coma in the hospital, and my grandfather did not leave your side.

Nicole: He liked me a lot better unconscious.

Brady: He does care, you know.

Nicole: Things change.

[ Cellular phone rings ]

Nicole: Excuse me. Hello, Victor?

Larry: (on the other end of Nicoleís cell): [ Neighing laughter ] Mr. Ed's at the starting gate, waiting for the gun to go off.

Nicole: Uh, it might be a while longer. I am sure Victor's coming. He just hasn't told me when, that's all.

Larry: (on the other end of Nicoleís cell): Okay. Then I'll just wait outside... pawing the ground.

Brady: Who is that? And why are they so interested in whether or not my grandfather is going to be here tonight?

Rod: A new car! ( Cheers and applause ) b: Three

Bo

Baby on shampoos to care for your hair.

Philip: I'm glad you're here, man, 'cause all she talks about is you.

Belle: It's true.

Philip: Talk about boring.

Shawn-D: Don't you have Marine Corps stuff you have to be doing?

Philip: Shawn, you wouldn't be trying to get rid of me, would you?

Shawn-D: Actually, yeah.

Belle: Shawn --

Philip: No, no, no, it's okay. I'd do the same thing if I was him.

Kate: I hope there's not a problem there.

Roman: You talking about those three?

Kate: Uhh.

Roman: Well, if there is, they'll work it out. They've been friends since they were kids.

Kate: Oh! Roman, they're not kids anymore.

Roman: You know something you're not saying?

Kate: Oh... nothing I can prove.

Roman: Well, all right, I'll tell you what. Why don't we agree not to worry about our kids today and concentrate on each other?

Kate: Ah...that's a deal.

Roman: I hope you're a fireworks fan.

Kate: With you, anytime.

Belle: So, what shall we do first?

Shawn-D: Oh, you just leave it to me.

Belle: Shawn Brady, what have you planned for us?

Shawn-D: Well, if you are patient, then you will find out, won't you? Come on.

Tony: [ Laughs ] Yes. It's for you. Of course. Nice to see you smile. So, shall we have some champagne?

Lucas: Oh, man, I need a drink.

Tony: To the loveliest woman. May you always be as happy and as radiant as you are now.

Nicole: It's a business associate of Victorís. I invited him to see the show tonight.

Brady: Oh. Well, that's great.

Nicole: I, uh, I hope you're ready for a bang-up evening.

Larry: (on the other end of Nicoleís cell): [ Neighs ]

Man: Hey, Brady, got a phone call.

Brady: Excuse me. Yeah?

Nicole: Don't ever call me again.

Larry: (on the other end of Nicoleís cell): I'm the one taking all the chances here, blondie. Thanks to me, you're about to be one rich little widow.

Nicole: This isn't about money.

Larry: (on the other end of Nicoleís cell): Oh? You're in it strictly for sex?

Nicole: It's about my freedom. That's all I ever wanted out of this.

Larry: (on the other end of Nicoleís cell): Well, honey, you can be as free as you like with me. I go for a woman with no inhibitions.

Brady: That was Victor. He's on his way.

Nicole: Great. You heard?

Larry: (on the other end of Nicoleís cell): [ Neighs, laughs ] Loud and clear, baby.

Nicole: Don't miss this time.

Brady: What, Victor's on his way, and you're tense?

Nicole: I can't help it.

Brady: Nicole, if you're worried that he's not going to enjoy -- this rundown that we have, it's going to impress him. I think it's going to blow him away.

Nicole: Yeah. You bet it will.

(On the next Days of Our Lives)

Mimi: I can't be around you, Rex. As much as I love you, I can't.

Cassie: I have another question.

Philip: Okay.

Cassie: The whole time you've been sitting here with me, you wish you were with Belle?

Bo: Happy birthday, Salem. I love you.

Hope: I love you.

Victor: Make sure this is a night that stays in my wife's memory for a very long time.

Nicole: No!
