Days of Our Lives Transcript Thursday 8/15/02
Shawn-d: Hey. Five minutes.
Belle: Less. I promise. I just want to say hey to my parents and let them know that we survived the thunderstorm safely and got back thanks to your dad's beautiful little boat.
Shawn-d: I wish we would be back on the boat right now.
Belle: Shawn, you were the one that thought rex and cassie would be safe there.
Shawn-d: Yeah, but still --
belle: But what, you think they're going to freak out and that Mimi and Kevin aren't going to know how to handle them?
Shawn-d: No, I think they'll be fine, but the sooner we get back, the better.
Belle: Yeah, well, the sooner we figure this out, the better -- how this strange drawing is connected to the twins.
Marlena: John. Something I have to tell you. It's about Tony DiMera.
Marlena: Oh! Hello!
Belle: Hi, mom! Hi, dad!
John: Well, hello, you two.
Belle: What is that?
Brady: Another dead end. Absolutely nothing on frederick sykes.
Brady: I think my mom can help you.
Chloe: Help me? How can she help me? What, would I run into her in the great beyond when i'm dead? I don't want your mother's help. Don't talk to me about her. Just don't talk to me at all!
Brady: Damn it. Nothing I do is helping.
Isabella: That's not true, brady.
Brady: Why are you here? You know what? You've only made things worse, so why don't you just get lost and leave me alone?
Craig: Nancy, we can still see the matinee. There's time to -- no, no, no, no. You are not calling her again.
Nancy: I just want to find out if she's okay.
Craig: No, no. If she's not, she'll call you. No.
Nancy: Well, I guess you're right. And she is with philip, so if anything happens...
Craig: Which it won't. She'll call us. Look, nancy, she needs to be out. That's what she needs. It's good for her.
Nancy: I know. It's just... That i wish I thought philip was what she needs.
Craig: Well, that's for her to decide, isn't it?
Nancy: Yes, but, craig, he hurt her so much before, and now -- well, it just better not happen again.
Chloe: Mmm, it feels so good to be out in the sunshine again.
Philip: We'll stay out here the whole day if you feel like it.
Chloe: I do, except for this thing. It looks strange, huh?
Philip: No, no, not at all. I kind of like it.
Chloe: Yeah, right.
Philip: I do. It's like it, uh, makes your eyes stand out even more than usual.
Chloe: That's so lame.
Philip: No, it isn'T. It's true. You're beautiful, chloe. Every guy who sees us together is green with envy because I have the most beautiful girlfriend in salem. You do want to be my girlfriend, don't you?
Wash your face?
Philip: I-i don't mean to push, but i do feel like we've gotten close again.
Chloe: You've been incredible, philip -- visiting me at the hospital all the time and bringing me wonderful gifts.
Philip: So, am I right? Are we closer?
Chloe: Yeah. I really feel close to you again -- more than I have in a long, long time. But right now I can't think about having a boyfriend. All that does is make me think about the future, and I'm not sure i even have one.
Philip: Now, just stop it. I don't ever want to hear you talk like that again.
Brady: You know what? I don't want to hear it anymore. "I'm here for you, brady." "I want to help you, brady." Well, you weren't there for me when i was growing up, so you're not going to be here for me now, so just go away.
Isabella: If that's how you really feel, then I'll go.
Brady: No. No.
Belle: What is that thing?
Marlena: Well, that thing, according to your daddy, is a work of art.
John: Well, the word is that that artist is going to be the michelangelo of the 21st century.
Belle: That's great, dad. No offense, but it doesn't really go in here.
John: Well, don't sweat it. It's not staying here. I'm going to take it to my offices.
Belle: That's a relief.
Marlena: Almost as big a relief as seeing the two of you home, safe and sound. I missed you, I missed you, I missed you.
Belle: Oh, mom, it was only one night. How are you going to handle it when i go off to college?
Marlena: Clearly, i'm not.
John: I think you two made the right decision, not trying to sail through that storm yesterday.
Shawn-d: It would've been impossible.
Belle: Well, we just wanted to check in, but, uh, we have some things to do, so can we catch up later?
Marlena: Honey, you know, when you called, you said that you were at the cabin with some friends. Who?
Belle: Oh, just kevin and mimi and cassie and rex.
Belle: Just some kids we know. They're not from around here.
John: Yeah? Where are they from?
Belle: I'm not really sure, but that doesn't matter, because they're really nice, and we enjoy spending time with them.
Marlena: Are they a couple?
Belle: Brother and sister, I think.
Marlena: You think?
Shawn-d: Yeah, we, um, don't know 'em that well yet.
Belle: We just keep running into them in different places -- salem place, the park -- so we invited them to go to the island with us, and then we got stuck there overnight, and it was a huge --
john: Dropped something.
Philip: I won't let you think the worst because the worst is not going to happen. Do you remember that thunderstorm last night?
Chloe: Of course I do.
Philip: Well, today is a new day. It's a beautiful, clear, sunny day. That storm is over. It's like it never happened. And that storm was like your disease. Now it's gone, and everything's going to be perfect -- today, tomorrow, and forever.
Brady: Mom, please don't go. Please come back. I'm so sorry. I can't believe I said that to you. When i get angry, I-I tend to take it out on other people, and I hate that about myself.
Isabella: I know you do.
Brady: I did it to marlena, too. It was awful. I hurt her so much.
Isabella: I think she understood it wasn't about her. I'm the one you were angry with... For leaving you.
Belle: Oh, dad, you can give that to me. It's just a list of important things i need to do.
Marlena: If it's important, it should be in your purse where you won't lose it.
Belle: You are absolutely right, mom.
Shawn-d: All right, well, um, we should get going, so we will see you all later.
Marlena: Mm-hmm. Where are you heading now?
Belle: Nowhere. It's just such a nice day, shawn and I figured we'd hang out in the park for a little while, maybe get around and do some stuff, but I'll definitely call you and let you know when I'm going to be home.
Marlena: We will expect you for supper. Shawn, you're always welcome for supper, you know that.
Shawn-d: Oh, thank you. Uh, I'll let you know. I have to check with my dad, see if he has anything planned.
Belle: I'll see you for supper. Bye.
John: Does it bother you?
John: What? The fact that they spent the night together at the horton cabin.
Marlena: Oh. Honey, you said yourself that they couldn't have made it back, couldn't have sailed in that weather. And they -- they were there with friends -- mimi and kevin and -- and those other kids.
John: I don't know. Cassie and something with an "r."
Marlena: Yeah, I can't do it, either.
John: Anyway, you're probably right. You know, I'm sure nothing happened that we wouldn't approve of at the horton cabin, but why were they acting so strange right now? Why did they act like they couldn't wait to get out of here? What was up with that?
Marlena: Well, they obviously had a thing they want to do. Look, we should be lucky that she comes home and checks in at all, lets us know she's okay.
John: Yeah, yeah. Yeah, well, I'll just try to get past it.
Marlena: Fine. I have faith that you'll fail. She's always going to be your little girl. You will always worry about her, especially in areas of the heart.
John: Yeah, you're probably right.
Marlena: I'm completely right.
John: All right, end of discussion.
Marlena: All right.
John: Now, before we got interrupted, you were going to tell me all about tony dimera.
Marlena: Oh, not important.
John: No, come on, doc, don't do that.
Marlena: No, honey, it'll just upset you.
John: How can it upset me if it's not important? Please tell me.
Marlena: Sami was supposed to have supper with her father. She never showed up. I made a lot of calls. I couldn't track her down. I couldn't find her anywhere, and I -- i got worried. I knew she had been seeing tony, so i-i went to the mansion.
John: Oh, no, you didn't go there without me.
Marlena: But I did. I did. Tony was there. Sami wasn't there. But he went into one of those dissociative states. He said my name. It was very real. The blackout was very, very real.
John: Mm-hmm. And what happened?
Marlena: I told him he needed to get therapy. And he was eventually convinced and said that he -- he would do that under, uh, under one condition, that he wouldn't see anybody except me. I know you'll be unhappy about that.
John: No, actually, i... Think it's a great idea. A5
philip: It's our destiny to be together, chloe. And once you accept that, everything else will just fall into place. I never stopped believing in us or our future, and I never will. You have to believe in it, too.
Belle: Oh, I'm so glad this thing is working now. I can check my messages. Oh, here's one about chloe. This is great news. Not only is she in remission, but she's home now. Shawn, i can't wait to see her.
Shawn-d: I don't believe it.
Belle: Mimi, what are you doing here?
Shawn-d: Aren't you supposed to be on the boat, watching the twins?
Mimi: We were, but --
belle: Don't tell me you let them get away from you.
Mimi: I didn't say that.
Belle: How could you do this? I thought we could trust you! How could you be so stupid?
Mimi: Would you listen to me?
Shawn-d: All right, come on. You know what? We have to find them.
Brady: Mom, I was wrong to be angry with you.
Isabella: It's not a question of right or wrong, brady. You were a little boy. You needed me, and I wasn't there.
Brady: It's not like it was your fault. My god, I shouldn't have been angry with you. I should've felt sorry for you. You had a husband and a little boy. You're the one who lost everything -- not me.
Isabella: But you're the one who was left behind. Don't be so hard on yourself.
Brady: You would be if you saw how I treated marlena. I took all of my anger and resentment out on her. You wouldn't believe the things that i said and did to her. She handled it so well. She was actually forgiving. Dad was a different story. He actually lost it a few times, almost smacked me. Probably should have. I deserved it.
Isabella: You were a boy in pain over losing his mother. They understood that. Although, at times, I'm sure they were very confused with how to deal with it, but, brady, they love you. Marlena took you into her heart and her home, and she loved you as if you were her very own.
Brady: Thank you. There's something I have to take care of.
Brady: Will you be here when i get back?
Isabella: I know what you're about to do, brady, and I'm very proud of you.
Marlena: You can't really think that it's a good idea for me to be tony dimera's therapist.
John: I can't think of a better way to get inside his head. Well, listen, it could be dangerous, so i'm going to take some precautions. I'm going to put a wire on you so i can hear what he says, and if he tries anything --
marlena: No. No wires. If i am tony's doctor, whatever he says to me is in confidence. You know that. Not only will I not wear a wire, I will not tell you what he says or what we talk about. That would be unethical.
John: Unethical? Come on, you got to be kidding me.
Marlena: I'm a doctor. I took an oath.
John: An oath does not apply in this case, marlena.
Marlena: Why would I make an exception for somebody we don't like?
John: Someone we don't like? I think it goes a little bit beyond that. This is dimera. Rules do not apply to this family, and I do not understand why you think they would.
Marlena: I can't do this.
John: No, no, you want me to run down a list of everything stefano has done to you, me, our family? Yeah, stefano may be dead, but we both know tony is back here to pick up on his father's legacy, and you know that.
Marlena: We have no proof of that.
John: Proof? We don't need any proof! It couldn't be more obvious! Tony's getting close to sami, knowing we disapprove. Hell, disapprove? We hate the idea he is involved with her in any way, shape, or form, but what about these mysterious gifts stefano's given you, me, the bradys in his will? What is up with that? Now, don't you think that you can just put your ethics aside in this one particular case so we can protect our family and our friends? You know, if we play our cards right here, we have the perfect opportunity to find out what's in that bastard's skull.
Marlena: The difference between us and the dimeras is we do have ethics and morals.
John: Oh, for god's sakes, doc, come on!
Marlena: I will not let tony dimera turn me into somebody that i don't like.
John: All right, fine. If that's the case, I don't want you treating tony dimera. I don't want you anywhere near him unless I am right there to back you up.
Marlena: Now we have a problem.
Mimi: Hey, you guys! You guys, stop!
Belle: No, mimi, now we have to go find them.
Mimi: No, you don't. They're okay. They're still on the boat, you dummkopfs.
Belle: So you're saying they're okay now?
Mimi: I never said they weren't.
Shawn-d: You said back there that they were --
mimi: I hardly said anything, and you two overreacted. What else is new? You wouldn't let me explain.
Belle: Well, explain now, okay?
Mimi: They're still on the boat. They started to leave, but I stopped them. They ate a ton, everything in sight, in fact. And they're still famished little aliens, so I came here to get them some takeout.
Belle: Hey, mimi, don't call them aliens in public, okay?
Mimi: Fine, fine. Whatever you want to call them, they sure can pack it away. It's not a pretty sight, let me tell ya. Kevin's working on getting them to eat with utensils right now, and they are resisting like crazy.
Belle: Well, he better not be impatient with them.
Mimi: Oh, no, of course not. We must make sure that they feel loved and special at all times, so they can go back to their planet and tell everyone what wonderful, adorable people we earthlings are.
Belle: Mimi, why are you being sarcastic? This is a very serious situation.
Mimi: Who said it wasn't?
Shawn-d: You're making it sound like a joke.
Mimi: It's called having a sense of humor. Ever hear of it -- humor? Guess not, not since these creatures became the center of your universe.
Belle: Mimi, this is a huge responsibility. Don't you get it? And we are trying to deal with it.
Mimi: Any ideas yet? You can't hide them forever.
Belle: We're not going to.
Shawn-d: Of course not. We're going to wait until they're a little more acclimated, and then we're going to probably turn them over to the authorities.
Belle: Like who, the cops or the cia?
Shawn-d: I didn't say that. Probably just a shelter that takes care of kids.
Belle: Shawn, you know where they're going to end up -- in the hands of the government.
Mimi: Yeah, like in "E.T." Bad news -- come in their space suits and they kidnap the sweet little space traveler.
Belle: Shh. Look who's coming.
Craig: Enough. I'm not giving you a credit card, i'm sorry. Want to get a coffee instead?
Belle: Hi, dr. Wesley. Mrs. Wesley.
Craig: Hi, kids.
Belle: We just got the great news about chloe being able to go home. We're so happy for all of you.
Craig: Yeah, well, right now things are good. Thanks.
Shawn-d: Any word on finding a bone marrow donor?
Craig: No, not yet, but, um, we're working on it.
Shawn-d: All right. Well, let us know if there's anything we can do to help.
Nancy: You guys have already done a lot. Um, we're very grateful. Chloe is so lucky to have such wonderful friends.
Belle: Well, we're lucky to have her.
Shawn-d: Hey, look, there's chloe now with philip.
Shawn-d: Let's go say hi. Don't you want to go over and say hello to chloe?
Belle: Not yet. There's something we need to do first.
Belle: You'll see. Bye, dr. Wesley, mrs. Wesley.
Philip: That night we carved our initials in that tree -- that was... That was the best night of my life because I felt like we were a part of each other, and... It was so right. Tell me you believe we're going to have the future we've always dreamed about.
Chloe: I know you believe it, philip, enough for the both of us.
Philip: I do, i do. And next year, when we're in new york together, we are going to be so happy. You probably won't even remember you were sick.
John: Now, if we have a problem, I'll tell you what the problem is. The problem is that you went to the dimera mansion on your own.
Marlena: For heaven's sake --
john: You just thought, what the hell, i'll bop over there and see what's going on, regardless of the fact the man is dangerous, vindictive, and out to hurt you and our family.
Marlena: I went to look for my daughter.
John: Was she there?
Marlena: I thought she was.
John: But she wasn'T.
Marlena: That has nothing to do with it.
John: It's got everything to do with it!
Marlena: I wanted to know.
John: Well, then call him!
Marlena: I wanted to see!
John: Why didn't you wait for me?
john: Coming. Hey, son, what's up? Come on in.
Brady: Hey, dad, marlena.
John: What's going on? Is there a problem?
Brady: No. I actually had something i wanted to say to marlena.
Marlena: Oh. What is it, brady?
Brady: I'm sorry.
Marlena: For what?
Brady: For the way i treated you when i got back from college. I was such a jerk. Everything i said was way off-base. I'm surprised you can even stand to look at me. And, dad, for the awful disrespectful way i treated your wife, I'm surprised you didn't take my head off.
John: I thought about it at times.
Brady: And you probably should have. I sure as hell deserved it.
Marlena: Brady, you've apologized before.
Brady: No, it was not enough. It could never be enough. You've always been so -- so good to me, so generous and caring, and all I ever did was give you a hard time. See, even now, you're kind of tentative around me, afraid I'm going to go back to being that horrible ingrate that i once was.
Marlena: No. I'm not afraid of that at all. You've come way past that -- light-years past it. You've matured in the most wonderful way. Brady, you're a man now. And if i seem tentative, it's -- it's because, even though I want you to be so happy, I don't want to seem too controlling. It's a -- kind of a psychiatrist thing. And I want to be careful to -- to make it seem like i don't think I know it all. Because like most parents, when it comes to my own children, I don't know it all. I just know that i love you, and I want so much for you to be happy.
Brady: You've given me so much. I just wish there was some way i can reciprocate.
Marlena: I don't need that. I do need you to be happy. Your father and I both do.
Brady: I know that. I really do.
Brady: Dad. Thank you for everything and for giving me marlena.
John: What can I say? I guess we both kind of lucked out.
Brady: Yeah. Now, uh, the both of you were too polite to ask where all this is coming from, what prompted me to come over here and say all this to you. So before it becomes one big mystery, i'll tell you. It's because of my mom. 8xhÑqúsq xcrccçcçrçrçrcc3qcccccc#csi3kyeaaca let's go çbeverly: You'reñ$Ñ=is always saopñpñpñÑ7ñÑ 8>8x| s
Chloe: Oh, my god, I don't believe it.
Philip: What? Hey, what's going on?
Shawn-d: What's up, lone stranger?
Philip: Whoa! Thank you there, pardner.
Belle: So, chloe, I have to ask, how do I look?
Chloe: Very cute.
Mimi: What about me? Am i glam or what?
Chloe: You all look really attractive.
Belle: Of course we do. And so do you.
Philip: Look at all you guys. Well, thank you for the hat.
Shawn-d: You're very welcome.
Mimi: Hi. It's good to see you.
Chloe: Good seeing you, too.
Philip: Yeah, you know, the future's so bright, I just got to put on my shades.
Mimi: Ha ha ha.
Philip: Are we cool now or what?
Chloe: Totally. Ha ha ha ha!
Philip: Ha ha ha ha!
Belle: Shawn, mimi, you should fill chloe in on our two new friends.
Chloe: Friends? What...New friends? Wait, you don't mean --
mimi: Yep, that's what she means.
Chloe: Those people from the spaceship? You mean the ones you found after the meteor showers?
Belle: Yep. Them.
Mimi: And the story gets wilder by the minute, so hold on to your hat -- I mean, your turban thing.
Chloe: Can't you just tell me?
Belle: Hey, phil, will you come with me for a second?
Belle: We'll be right back.
Belle: Philip, I think it's great you're being so upbeat about all this to chloe.
Philip: Why wouldn't I be?
Belle: Okay, maybe "upbeat" is not the right word. That i understand. I know we're supposed to be optimistic, but... I think what worries me is that you act like everything is fine now.
Philip: It is.
Belle: Come on, philip.
Philip: She's in remission, belle.
Belle: That doesn't mean she's cured. It's all been explained to us, yet you seem to have thrown that out of your mind.
Philip: You're starting to sound like brady.
Belle: Philip, chloe needs a bone marrow transplant, meaning it's not over yet. And if you act like it is, you're setting her and yourself up for a huge disappointment. Now, it's one thing to think positively, but to be in denial -- that's just not right.
Philip: Sure it is, and I'm not in denial. I'm just sure we're going to find a marrow match for chloe and that she'll be okay. No, no, better than okay -- everything's going to be perfect. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to get back to her, okay? Back to my girlfriend.
Brady: I know this sounds strange, but ever since i moved into the loft, I've been thinking an awful lot about my mom. I mean, why wouldn't i? She lived there when she was pregnant with me, when she had me. Anyway, when i got back from college, I was really angry -- at a lot of things. Like i needed to tell you that, right? But I justified my anger by believing it was because i didn't have a mother, that she had deserted me. But I know now that I was wrong, of course. She didn't desert me. I did have a mother. I do have a mother. I always did. But every time she tried to reach out to me, I pushed her away. I guess I was wallowing in my own misery, thinking that if i let her love me, it would be like a betrayal to isabella. I mean, how could I love marlena and still re in loyal to my real mother at the same time? So i shut you out, kept you at arm's length. And it was really... Stupid and immature. But the worst part was how much that must have hurt you.
Brady: I know this is too little too late, but I just really need you to know again how sorry I am, and how much i really do love you.
John: Your mother would be very proud of you, son.
Brady: I hope so.
Marlena: I'm very proud of you, too -- more than you could know. I love you, brady.
Brady: So, since I sponged so many meals off you two over the years...
John: That's a fact.
Brady: How about you come over to my place for dinner tonight?
John: I think we can handle that. Only if you let us bring dessert.
Brady: Great. It's a deal.
Brady: I'll call you later.
Brady: See you.
Marlena: Mm. Hmm.
John: You okay?
Marlena: I never expected that. Things have improved so much with brady. I mean, improved dramatically. He's been so sweet and so thoughtful lately, and -- love having him here. I've missed him. And now this.
John: I feel as though i owe you an apology, also. That whole time when brady was being so hard on you, I -- I did not do enough to stop it. I just -- I watched him hurt you.
Marlena: He was your son. He was in pain. You had to protect him. It must have been a very difficult place for you to be.
John: Oh, my god, you are the light of my life. I need you more than you know.
Marlena: I do know.
John: Listen, that's why this situation with tony -- I just -- I just don't want you involved with him, because it's -- it's not safe.
Marlena: Mm. How many times have I asked you not to get involved with something because it was too dangerous, and you've said to me, "i can handle this"?
Marlena: Well, I'm saying it to you now. I can handle this. Trust me.
John: You know I do.
Marlena: Then there's nothing more to say.
Brady: All right, you're still here.
Isabella: I wanted to tell you that john and marlena were right. I am very proud of you.
Brady: Oh. Well, I guess you know that i invited them over for dinner then.
Isabella: Good idea.
Brady: Great. So, how about a little help in the kitchen, huh?
Isabella: No. First, pick up the phone.
Brady: Why? I'm not ordering in.
Isabella: I know that.
Brady: Then what?
Isabella: You're going to call chloe.
Chloe: Well, I think it's very cool that you and shawn not only found those two kids, but now you're taking care of them.
Shawn-d: Yeah, well, we can't keep doing that forever.
Belle: Nobody said we have to. We just need a little more time. You see, there are a few things we have to find out before they can be on their own. I mean...
Mimi: Like what?
Shawn-d: Belle's just making excuses. She's really protective of them and refuses to think that they can function on their own.
Chloe: Well, I think it's all very intriguing.
Mimi: To say the least.
Chloe: So, when do i get to meet them?
Shawn-d: Not yet. They've been kind of wound up over the past few days.
Philip: Hey, I got a great idea. How about we have a party at my house to celebrate chloe's recovery, and we'll invite rex and cassie?
Belle: Well, you know, we'll talk about it. But right now we should really get back to the boat. Take care of yourself, chloe.
Chloe: Thank you. I will.
Belle: I'm really glad to see you doing so well.
Mimi: Bye, girl.
Chloe: See you guys later.
Shawn-d: You take care of yourself, all right?
Chloe: Thank you. I will. Bye-bye.
Mimi: Bye, philip.
Philip: See you, guys. All right, don't move. I'll be right back.
Chloe: Where are you going?
Philip: To get you a very special surprise.
Chloe: You and your surprises. What now?
Philip: Hold on.
[Cellular phone rings]
Brady: Hi. Chloe, it's, uh, it's me.
Chloe: I know. So, what do you want? Ahh... The feeling of bare feet across a floor cleaned with vim oxy gel.
Mimi: Oh, i forgot to get the takeout for the gemini twins. I'll just meet you back at the boat.
Shawn-d: Okay, they love fries.
Belle: And ketchup.
[Cellular phone rings]
belle: Hello? Oh, hey, kev, if you're looking for mimi, you just missed her, but -- what? No, no, we'll be right there.
Shawn-d: What happened?
Belle: Well, turns out rex discovered the ship-to-shore radio, and he's been sending out some really strange messages.
Shawn-d: Okay, you know what? That's it. We're turning them in.
Belle: No, shawn, not until we find out what this strange key is all about.
Chloe: Brady, i told you i'm busy. Could you make this quick?
Brady: She doesn't want to talk to me.
Isabella: Ask her, brady.
Chloe: Hello? Brady, are you still there?
Brady: Yeah, yeah, I'm here.
Chloe: So, are you going to tell me why you called?
Brady: Yeah. Yeah. Chloe, um... I don't -- i don't like the way things have been between us lately. I feel so distant, and I just want to apologize for being so negative lately. I just wanted to make it up to you.
Chloe: It's okay.
Brady: No, no, it's not okay. I don't want to leave things the way they are. So, look, I've invited my dad and marlena over to my loft for dinner tonight. I was hoping you might want to join us.
Chloe: I don't know.
Brady: Well, I'm not cooking, if that's what you're worried about. I was thinking of ordering in some chinese food and indian food. Lots of vegetables, you know. Right up your alley. And it'll be fun, and we'll just relax and have a good time like we used to, so what do you say?
Chloe: Fine, I'll be there.
Brady: Great. Great. I'll see you soon then. She's coming! Now all I have to do is not mess it up.
Isabella: You won't. Brady, you have to learn to believe in yourself and trust that what you're doing is the right thing.
Brady: Yes, but is it the right thing for chloe? Am i helping her?
Isabella: Of course you are.
Philip: Who were you talking to?
Chloe: A friend. So, is this the big surprise you were talking about? Two new coffees?
Philip: No, no. Just a little boost of energy to get you up for what i have planned.
Chloe: Tell me.
Philip: We're gonna celebrate your recovery. First, we're gonna go shopping.
Chloe: Ooh, shopping. Shopping for what?
Philip: A dress, some shoes, a new purse, the whole enchilada -- a brand-new outfit.
Chloe: I don't need any of that.
Philip: Sure, you do. You can't go to tuscany for dinner and dancing in anything less than the best.
Chloe: Dinner and dancing?
Philip: Tonight. Just the two of us. What a great idea, huh?
John: Great. All right. Yeah, sit tight. That's definitely of interest. I'll be right there. Mm-hmm.
Marlena: Who was that?
John: Oh, just somebody i'm doing some business with.
Marlena: It must be important.
John: Yeah, it could be, and I need to take care of it in person, but I shouldn't be long.
Marlena: Oh. Well, are we still on for brady's?
Marlena: Okay. Well, I'll pick up the dessert, and I'll see you there.
John: So we're okay?
Marlena: Yeah. I'll see you soon.
Marlena: I'm glad you have something to take care of, john, because I have an important stop of my own to make on the way to brady'S
