[Knock on door]
Brandon: Hey, Jennifer.
Brandon: Can you come to my room for a second?
Jennifer: Oh, hey Brandon, I'm not dressed yet.
Brandon: Neither am I. That's the problem.
Brandon: I need you.
Jennifer: Yeah. Yeah, I can see that.
Nicole: Oh! You!
Jack: I didn't know the roller derby was in town.
Nicole: Stay away from me!
Jack: How can I when you keep stalking me?
Nicole: Oh, yes, Jack, I'm obsessed with you. I dream about you at night, and I fantasize about you during the day. I can't get you out of my mind.
Jack: Do you work at being unpleasant, or does it come au naturel?
Nicole: What are you doing in Vegas?
Jack: Wouldn't you like to know?
Nicole: Actually, I'd like to know when you are leaving and where you'll be hanging out until then so I can be sure to avoid you.
Colin: Sin City -- wedding capital of the world. Ha ha. That's right -- Las Vegas! Today.
[People cheering and laughing]
Colin: Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Ah, come on. Could anyone love Elizabeth? Use your head, would you? She wouldn't be willing to marry me if she knew I felt that way, now would she? Right. Well, once she and I are Dr. and Mrs. Colin Murphy, then the plan will be in motion.
Philip: Be careful.
Belle: Ha ha. Yeah. There you go.
Philip: Thank you.
Philip: So, have you been thinking about Shawn?
Belle: I'm trying not to, but it's not working. What about you?
Philip: I'm having the occasional Chloe thought, yeah.
Belle: Don't look so sad.
Philip: I'm not, it's just... She's never said she loves me.
Belle: Hey, at least you two still have a chance at happiness together.
Philip: Let's go for a walk.
Belle: That is a good idea.
Shawn: You know, a wedding is supposed to start here in a few minutes, but we're the only ones old enough to get married... And we're already hitched.
Will: I know where Mommy is. I'll find her.
Shawn: I'll come with you, will. Oh.
Shawn: Do you know the date?
Caroline: What are you talk-- oh! Now, don't you start with that, Shawn Brady!
Shawn: I'm just thinking -- can it be good luck to get married on April Fool's Day?
Caroline: Will you hush? You go with Will.
Shawn: All right. Wait for me, Will!
Caroline: I'll be here...
Shawn: All right.
Austin: Blackmail. I can't believe it.
Sami: It's not worth it. No one is going to stop me from getting all that I want! Do you hear me? No one!
Lucas: Austin will.
Sami: Look what you did to my dress, you son of A... Man!
Lucas: You know, my brother's a lot smarter than you give him credit for. He'll never believe I abandoned my son, ever!
Sami: He'll believe it if I tell him it's true. He believed me when I told him you hit Will. He bought that totally.
Lucas: Even though you didn't have a shred of proof, you miserable little --
Sami: Oh! So, what happened to your uppity inner-peace crap, Lucas? I'm so disappointed to hear you yell.
Lucas: It never happened, Sami. I never hit my son.
Sami: What, are you trying to absolve yourself with me? I already know that it didn't happen, Lucas, and you know what? I don't give a rat's behind! It all came down to the fact it was your word against mine, and Austin believed me. He believed me then, and he'll believe me now.
Austin: No. I won't.
Sami: How long have you been standing there?
Austin: Long enough. Lucas, you want to wait outside?
Sami: I can explain, Austin.
Austin: No, you can't... Not this time.
Jennifer: Oh, yeah, yeah. Half Windsor, full Windsor, bow tie -- you just hand me a tie and I can tie it. I can tie 'em all.
Brandon: Well, I'm impressed.
Jennifer: Well, my grandma taught me. You know, when she was young, a girl liked to make her man look sharp before they went out. A man also didn't mind holding a door open for a woman. Very different times.
Brandon: Yeah. I think they called it "civilization."
Jennifer: There you go. That's pretty.
Nicole: Will you just stay out of my way?
Jack: I'm not in your way! There's room to the left of me, room to the right.
Nicole: Do you work on being annoying, or does it just come au naturel?
Jack: I know why you're here. You're here for Sami Brady's wedding, aren't you?
Nicole: And why is that your business?
Jack: You asked why I'm here.
Nicole: But you didn't tell me.
Jack: It's because you work with Austin Reed, isn't it?
Nicole: And how do you know that, Jack?
Jack: Your life's an open book, my dear -- not that I seek out that sort of information. Usually it bores me silly, but I happen to have caught wind of the fact that you and Austin are joined at the hip these days causing Sami, the jealous fiancé, much perturbation and agitation.
Nicole: It's usually not easy to hate someone you hardly know, but you, Jack, you make it a snap!
Jack: Aha! I see I hit a nerve.
Lucas: Not even Sami can talk her way out of this one.
Philip: Lucas. I can't believe it.
Lucas: Believe what?
Philip: I just saw you in the wheelchair, and now look at you! You're up and walking.
Belle: It's a miracle, right? I mean, that's what everyone's saying.
Lucas: Actually, it's been a day of miracles.
Lucas: Well, hey! What are you doing? Look at you! You look great in your tux!
Shawn: Will, wait for your grandfather, huh? Oh. Ah...Thank goodness. I was having trouble keeping up with him.
Lucas: He's fine now. He's with his father.
Shawn: Well, you're up and about, I see, huh?
Lucas: Yeah. Yeah, I'm feeling better every day.
Shawn: Good. Wh-where's Sami?
Lucas: She's in there.
Shawn: She sure is taking her sweet time about starting this wedding.
Lucas: She'll be finished soon.
Belle: Hey, don't rush her. She's finally marrying the man of her dreams. She just wants everything to be perfect.
Shawn: I suppose. Well, it gives me more time to run out and buy some film for my camera, so... Can you look after Will?
Lucas: Actually, uh, he'll be safe with me. Don't worry. I won't let him out of my sight.
Shawn: Fair enough. I'm back in a flash.
Belle: What did you mean before when you said it's a day of miracles?
Lucas: Let's see, how should I put this? Uh...I'll have to rely on some old clichés, if you'll indulge me --
Philip: Would you come out with it already?
Lucas: The clouds have lifted. It's the dawn of a new era.
Belle: Okay. I'm glad you see it that way. Speaking of dawn, it's going to be here pretty soon, and there is still no sign of my sister. I'm going to go check on her and see what's taking so long.
Lucas: No. Don't.
Sami: I can explain, I swear.
Austin: What's there to explain? I just heard you admit that Lucas never hit Will.
Sami: We don't know that. I mean, he could have. He very well could have.
Austin: You never saw it happen, meaning you've been lying to me about that for years, Sami, and God knows what else.
Sami: Everything I did was for us, Austin. I was desperate. Lucas was drinking and dangerous and -- I'm a mother. I had to protect my child.
Austin: Lucas never abused Will. Say it.
Sami: He drove drunk and almost killed him in a car accident!
Austin: That was months after the so-called abuse, Sami -- months after you got on the witness stand and you swore to tell the truth, and lied through your teeth... Months after you looked me in the eye and you told me that you loved me.
Sami: Austin, how can you not understand? Lucas is an alcoholic. He doesn't deserve to be with Will, or any other kid, for that matter. He can't be trusted.
Austin: He hasn't had one drink since he regained consciousness, Sami.
Sami: So he's recovering and he hasn't had a drink. You think that means that he won't go back to it like he has before? And I'm supposed to live with that kind of fear -- that he'll stumble out of a bar and go pick up Will after school someday? Never! Austin, when we have kids together, you'll understand that I had to lie.
Austin: Will is like a son to me, and the only thing I understand is that you are not the woman I want to have children with.
Austin: Will needs to be protected from you, Sami, not Lucas.
Sami: You don't mean that.
Austin: You didn't just lie to me. You lied in court. You can go to prison for that, and maybe that's exactly where you belong.
Jennifer: I-I, uh... I need to get dressed.
Brandon: You look good to me.
Jennifer: Come on, you don't want me to go to the wedding in my bathrobe.
Brandon: If the shoes match, why not?
Jennifer: I'll be back in, uh, 10 minutes. Oh, my gosh. Door's locked.
Brandon: Use the hallway.
Jennifer: Uh, I-I can't because I don't have my card key to get in the room.
Brandon: Oh, I do.
Jennifer: Oh! How'd you get that?
Brandon: Well, the desk clerk thought we were together and gave me a key.
Jennifer: Oh. Were you planning on sneaking into my room to seduce me?
Brandon: Well, I would rather wait for an invitation.
Jennifer: And do you usually get one?
Brandon: I never kiss and tell.
Jennifer: Well, sometimes a girl likes the guy to make the first move.
Brandon: Well, I don't have a problem with that.
Colin: I'll let you know when it's a fait accompli. Yes, I know what I have to do. Don't you think I've thought this through? Sorry. I just want to get the whole damn thing over with. You'll hear from me as soon as I've sealed the deal. Au revoir.
Belle: What is it, Lucas? Why don't you want me to go in there?
Lucas: I-I spoke with Sami earlier, and she said she'd come out when she was ready.
Belle: So I'll help her get ready.
Lucas: She said she didn't want to be disturbed, so...
Philip: Come on, Lucas.
Belle: We're running out of time.
Philip: I know. The bride's locked up in her room, and who knows where Austin is?
Lucas: Austin's in there.
Belle: What? He's not supposed to see her before the wedding!
Will: It's bad luck.
Belle: Uh, no, Will. I know I said he's not supposed to see her, but it's okay. Actually, I think it's kind of romantic. You see, your Uncle Austin and your mom can't even wait for the ceremony to say how much they love each other. I think it's great.
Lucas: Yeah, Will, that's right. What's happening in there is great. That's why we don't want to ruin it by barging in on them -- you know.
Belle: Fine, since you're being so insistent about it.
Philip: About the wedding in general -- you're pretty excited about it, aren't you?
Lucas: Uh, well, it's not the wedding. It's feeling good, you know? Feeling a lot better, and I finally have my son with me. We have an amazing time when we're together, don't we, buddy? Come here.
Philip: Well, there's nothing else we can do here. We should just go back to the chapel.
Belle: We might as well.
Lucas: I'll stay here with Will and, uh, wait for the happy couple to come out.
Philip: All right, guys.
Philip: See you at the chapel.
Lucas: All right. Take care. Come here. It's just you and me now, son, and I mean forever.
Sami: Jail? Austin, you think I deserve to go to prison because I love my son and I wanted to protect him?
Austin: Oh, knock it off!
Sami: Lucas tried to have me killed -- executed -- and your mother -- they were trying to take my son away from me, Austin. You know that as well as I do. What was I supposed to do, just be honest and decent and noble, and end up with no kid?
Austin: There is no excuse for what you did.
Sami: Then how about love? Austin, I love you so much that I can't even see straight.
Austin: You lied to me because you love me? Do you ever listen to what you say?
Sami: I have loved you since the moment that I met you, Austin. I have never loved anyone else.
Austin: You really do think I'm going to believe everything you say. Sami, I gave you my whole heart, and the only thing I asked for in return was honesty, and you have betrayed me over and over again, Sami. You've blown it.
Sami: No. Please --
Austin: I'm never going to trust you again.
Nicole: This may come as a shock to you, Jack, but I don't give a hoot who Austin marries!
Jack: Nor do I give a hoot whether or not you give a hoot, so why the hoot are we even standing here?
Nicole: Why, indeed? Get out of my way!
Jennifer: What was that?
Brandon: I think the earth moved.
Jennifer: Ha ha ha. Maybe -- maybe you should go check it out.
Brandon: Okay. Ahem.
Jack: So, you like to play rough, huh?
Nicole: Oh, get over yourself, Jack!
Jack: Could you just mind your own busin--
Jack: Small world, running into you like this.
Colin: [Whistling "The Wedding March"] Liz? Liz, are you in here? What the hell is going on?
Caroline: Oh, where have you been?
Shawn: Oh, I was just stocking up on film. You know, it's not every day that our granddaughter gets married.
Caroline: Where's Will?
Shawn: He's with Lucas.
Caroline: Oh, no. Shawn, I don't think he should be alone with him.
Shawn: Well, he's the boy's father, Caroline. I mean, he has a right to spend some time with his son.
Caroline: Well, I agree, but Sami put us in charge of Will, and I think one or the other of us should be with him at all times.
Shawn: Uh, fine. Fine. Listen, I'll bring him back.
Caroline: Okay. Oh, and while you're at it, can you please convince my granddaughter to get a move on?
Shawn: I will fling her over my shoulder if I have to because if we don't get started soon, there ain't going to be a wedding.
Belle: You know, it's too bad Chloe couldn't be here.
Philip: Are you getting tired of me already?
Belle: No. No. It's just weddings are so romantic and happy, you should share it with someone you love.
Philip: Look, just for today, let's forget about Chloe and Shawn and just have a good time.
Belle: You're right. And we should focus on Sami. At least her dreams are coming true, right?
Lucas: This is a real big day for us, Will. You know why? 'Cause from now on, we're going to be together.
Will: Are you going to move to Hawaii, too?
Lucas: Well, no, buddy. Sometimes, uh, plans change, you know? And maybe nobody's moving to Hawaii, but daddy's going to make sure we're always together. That's the important thing right?
Lucas: Right! Give me five. My man. Oh, no.
Will: What is it, Daddy?
Lucas: Uh, daddy lost something important, Will -- very important -- and I got to get it back.
Sami: Your love has made me a different person, Austin -- a better person. I-I would never lie now. I don't. I-I'm not. I have learned so much, just from loving you and having you love me. I've come such a long way. You said so yourself. The way you're looking at me...
Austin: Okay. Why is Victor so determined to transfer me to Hawaii?
Sami: Hawaii? What does that have to do with anything?
Austin: Answer the question.
Sami: I don't know what motivates Victor. He's your boss, not mine.
Austin: You can't get out of this one, Sami. I know what you did. I know the truth, and soon, everyone else will know, too.
Nicole: Sorry. Did our little scuffle disturb you two?
Brandon: Nicole, hi. We were just --
Jennifer: It's not what --
jack: Not what we think? I wasn't thinking anything. I mean, there you are -- both of you in various states of undress. Only a fool would jump to conclusions.
Jennifer: I have my own room. I was just -- I was helping Brandon dress, and -- we have adjoining rooms, actually.
Nicole: Oh. Oh. Uh... Nice shade of lipstick, Jen. Huh?
Jennifer: Um, you know, that wedding is about to start and I'm not even near ready, so, uh -- I-I'll meet you in the lobby.
Brandon: Yeah, I'll be there.
Jennifer: Viva Las Vegas.
Brandon: Oh, wait. Your key.
Colin: "Colin, I heard everything. I know you don't love me, that everything you said was a lie. I have no idea why you would use me so cruelly, and I don't want to know. I'm just glad I found out now, before it was too late. Don't try to contact me. I want nothing to do with you ever again. Elizabeth."
Austin: You blackmailed him. You wanted to move out of Salem, so you blackmailed Victor into transferring me to Hawaii.
Sami: It's not like that, Austin. I was just trying to get him to --
Austin: Just tell the truth for once, please! Say it!
Sami: Okay. Yeah, I did.
Austin: Say it! What did you do?
Sami: Blackmailed Victor.
Sami: Austin, because I wanted to protect Will, because I wanted to get you away from --
Austin: Away from what, Sami?
Sami: From Kate and Lucas, from all the terrible things that they're trying to do to me, to us, to will. We have to get away from them, as far away as possible!
Austin: We? I'm not going anywhere with you.
Sami: Don't say that, Austin. You're just upset right now.
Austin: Upset? Yeah, I'm a little upset. I mean, not just with you, either, Sami. You know, with me, for being such a naive idiot -- you know, for defending you all these years and putting you in such a good light, not listening -- not listening to all the warnings.
Sami: Because you love me, because you know that I'm a good person.
Austin: No, I don't know that at all, not anymore.
Sami: Of course you do, Austin. Who makes you feel the way I do? Who turns you on the way I do? You're always saying that I turn you on more than anyone ever has.
Austin: You think I give a damn if you turn me on or not, Sami? Are you going to bring up sex at a time like this?
Sami: It's important. It shows how much we mean to each other.
Austin: Oh, man, this is all just a really big joke.
Sami: No, Austin, it's not a joke.
Austin: Get away from me. Just...Don't touch me, okay? You've been kissing me in the night and stabbing me in the back during the day.
Sami: I've never stabbed you in the back! All I ever --
Austin: Don't even try it. Don't try it. It's not going to work, Sami -- you know, putting your little spin on it.
Sami: I'm not trying to do that, Austin. I'm really trying to be honest here.
Austin: All right, then tell me the truth. What leverage are you using to blackmail Victor?
Sami: Nothing. I just begged him because he knew that I just wanted to get away from Kate and Lucas.
Austin: Liar! You used Philip, my own brother! Some terrible secret that Victor's keeping from him.
Sami: I was just trying to protect us, Austin. Don't you see that?
Austin: This sick game that you're playing -- it's over, Sami. You've lost. We both have.
Brandon: Are you okay?
Nicole: Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?
Brandon: Oh, let's see. Austin's marrying Samantha.
Jennifer: Good night, Jack.
Jack: We need to talk.
Jennifer: No, we don't. Please go.
Jack: Not until you tell me how you can kiss one man while being in love with another.
Colin: That's quite a gash. I don't want it to get infected. Now, this may sting a bit. How does that feel?
Jennifer: It's good. You have, um, a very gentle touch. It helps so much, really.
Colin: I only wish I could mend your broken heart.
Jennifer: Could you please not do this right now?
Jack: Don't give yourself to Brandon when your heart is devoted to someone else. Stay true to your dreams, Jennifer.
Colin: It's me. I got bad news. There isn't going to be a wedding. She's gone. All that work and time for nothing. To hell with Elizabeth. Let's spend our energy on coming up with a new plan.
Will: What's wrong, Daddy?
Lucas: Uh, daddy lost something very valuable, Will. Uh, kind of like an insurance policy. It's the key to our future together. [Grunting]
Lucas: I got to find it.
Will: I'll help you, Daddy.
Shawn: I'm afraid that'll have to wait.
Lucas: What's the problem?
Shawn: Well, I think it's best if Will stays with me until Sami comes out.
Lucas: Okay, yeah, yeah. I actually have some things I have to take care of anyway.
Shawn: I'm glad you understand.
Lucas: Will, daddy's got to go, but we won't be apart for long, I promise, okay? Now, you go with Grandpa Shawn. Go ahead. It's okay. I'll see you.
Austin: You know, I suppose I should consider myself lucky that I got out before this sham of a marriage actually happened.
Sami: Don't say that.
Austin: You know, I really loved you, Sami, and if you just would have been honest with me, we could have spent the rest of our lives together with Will, you know, as a family.
Sami: We still can, Austin. I did everything so that we could stay together while the whole world was trying to tear us apart.
Austin: Are you crazy? I mean, the whole world trying to tear us apart, Sami? Nobody was trying to tear us apart. People were trying to knock some sense into me. Everybody knew what a sick liar you were except me, and they were trying to clue me in.
Sami: Don't be mean like that.
Austin: Am I being mean? Oh, I'm -- I'm sorry. I'm going to have to work on that.
Sami: Look, as long as we still love each other, we can make this work, Austin. I know that you still --
Austin: Stop it.
Sami: I can't stop loving you.
Austin: Well, you'd better work on it, because I'm through. Whatever feelings I had for you, they're dead, Sami.
Sami: [Sobbing] oh.
Nicole: Yeah, well, Austin marrying Sami is a fiasco. Everybody knows that. I mean, he is honest, sweet, and hard-working, and she's none of the above. Oh, I'm sorry. You're still wild about the girl.
Brandon: We are friends, that's all.
Nicole: Oh, yeah, right. You mean you have absolutely no jealousy that she's about to commit her life to another guy?
Brandon: Hey, I've come to terms with it. Besides, I'm with Jennifer now. I'm really enjoying her company.
Nicole: Oh. You are the master of understatement.
Brandon: Getting back to you...
Nicole: Must we?
Brandon: Aside from your obvious dislike of Samantha, how are you doing with this wedding that's about to take place?
Nicole: Who has time to think about it? I was just proposed to myself, I'll have you know.
Brandon: What? Well, who?
Nicole: Who do you think? Mr. Victor Kiriakis.
Brandon: So this was a -- a real proposal?
Nicole: Complete with an 8-carat diamond ring.
Brandon: What did you say?
Nicole: Nothing yet. I'm thinking about it.
Brandon: Because you're in love with someone else.
Nicole: Don't tell me how I feel, okay?
Brandon: Hey, I'm right, aren't I?
Nicole: Look, all right, Victor can give me money, power, prestige --
Brandon: And to hell with being happy.
Nicole: Happiness is way overrated.
Brandon: Oh, come on, Nicole. You're not that cynical.
Nicole: Look, I got to go.
Brandon: Hey, look, Nicole, hold on, all right? Don't sell out. You're worth way more than that. If Austin Reed is the man that can make you happy, then go for it.
Nicole: "Go for it"? He's about to walk down the aisle.
Brandon: You've got at least, you know... An hour.
Nicole: Ha ha. And what do you suggest I do in that hour?
Brandon: You'll think of something.
Jennifer: True to my dreams? You know, you have been reading too many romance novels, Jack Deveraux.
Jack: That's why being with Brandon is making you so miserable -- because you're still in love with me.
Jennifer: I have to get dressed.
Jack: Admit it.
Jennifer: Even if it's not true?
Jack: Well, you're certainly behaving like a woman in love, and if it's not me --
Jennifer: Would you just go, please?
Jack: Wait a minute. Wait just a minute. Something else is going on here. I can smell it. You know I have a nose for news.
Jennifer: Well, then go sniff around somewhere else, because I need to get dressed, and I would like to do it alone, so would you please leave?
Jack: I was born to be a journalist, and this is the story of my life, so don't expect me to give up without a fight.
Jennifer: Well, maybe we are yesterday's news, Jack. Maybe it's time for you to find another story.
Jack: Not as long as Abigail walks the face of this earth. Not as long as I know that you still love me.
Caroline: Oh, I was about to send a search party after you two. Ha ha. How's your dad?
Shawn: Lucas is up and about, sharp as a razor.
Caroline: Oh, that's remarkable. Oh. My, don't you look handsome, hmm?
Will: Thank you. I'm going to go see Aunt Belle.
Caroline: Okay. I can't believe that Lucas is really attending this wedding.
Shawn: Yeah. I don't mind telling you I wish he weren't here at all, because nothing good can come of it -- nothing good at all.
Will: Aunt Belle.
Belle: Look who's back.
Philip: Hey, buddy. You happy your mom's getting married?
Belle: She's very lucky to have a man who loves her and a handsome young man like you.
Will: Are you two in love?
Belle: No. No, we're not.
Philip: Yeah, we're just friends.
Belle: Yeah. Best friends.
Will: Can I be your friend, too?
Philip: You bet you can. Put 'er there.
Lucas: Got to get that tape recorder. You know, if there was any good in you at all, it's gone now. Any goodness, any shred of humanity. It's a tragedy for Will. He's going to need a mother. Obviously, he doesn't have one.
Sami: Oh, shut up.
Lucas: You know, a mother is supposed to provide love, guidance, and support. She's supposed to be generous and selfless. At least that's what I've heard. I'm so glad Will has me, because when it boils down to it, I'm his only parent.
Sami: Oh, just shut up, Lucas! That's enough out of you! How could you do this to me?! Stop it! [Squealing]
Lucas: Oh, no. It must have fallen out of my pocket. It must still be in there.
Sami: I know that you still love me, Austin. We can make this work. I know you love me. I know you do.
Austin: You know... I spent weeks trying to come up with the right words to write these vows. You know, to express how I loved you and how much you meant to me.
Sami: Austin, what are you -- no! Don't!
Austin: Don't? Don't? What are you talking -- you want to hold them? You want to save them for a -- put them in a scrapbook of a wedding that never happened?
Sami: We can still make it happen, Austin. All you have to do is forgive me and walk into that chapel with me and get married in front of all our friends and our family.
Austin: You really need help. You really do.
Sami: Austin, once we get to Hawaii, everything will be different when we're away from the people who are trying to ruin our happiness.
Austin: Stop it.
Sami: I know I hurt you, and I'm sorry, but I love you, Austin, and I know that you love me, so please, walk out that door with me. Let's exchange the vows that were written in our hearts and show everybody the power and the beauty of our love. You have to marry me, Austin.
Austin: Listen, honey --
Sami: Austin, no, please, you have to become my husband.
Austin: Will you shut up and listen to me? Just shut up and listen to me. I'm not going to be your husband. I'm not going to be your boyfriend, I'm not going to be your friend. We're not going to talk on the phone, we're not going to e-mail each other, I'm not going to send you birthday cards or Christmas cards. We're through. Sami, get that through your thick head. I am crossing you off my list. I am done with you forever.
Brandon: Why settle for less than true love?
Nicole: Since when are you such a sap?
Brandon: I mean it, Nicole.
Nicole: Yeah, well, it's -- it's great to read about it and see it in the movies, but in real life, love just seems to screw things up more than anything else. I'd rather settle for less love and more money and power.
Brandon: That's sad.
Nicole: No, it's not. Victor will be good to me. You'll see. And who knows? Maybe there'll be another Vegas wedding before the night's over.
Brandon: So you're giving up on Austin.
Nicole: I'd be crazy not to. Face it, Brandon, Austin's marrying Sami, and there's nothing we can do about it.
Jennifer: [Thinking] Why is Colin's wedding getting to me like this? Obviously I never meant anything to him, so why am I so upset? I am here with Brandon. I need to focus on that. And as for Jack, he -- he can't know that I have feelings for Colin. How would he? No, he can never know, and he never will.
Jack: [Thinking] There's more going on here than a few kisses with Brandon. But what? Or who? Until I solve this mystery, I'll never get Jennifer back. I've got to uncover the truth. Come on, you got to do it now, Deveraux. Do it before it's too late.
Colin: I don't give a damn what Elizabeth heard. She has no proof, no idea I'm working with you. We'll still get it done. We just have to dedicate ourselves to it that much more. We don't have a choice. Too much is at stake for our an to come undone now.
Caroline: Don't you think we should get Sami out of the bride's room?
Belle: I don't know. Lucas said she's in there with Austin.
Philip: What is Lucas doing there?
Will: Looking for his insurance policy.
Lucas: The damn thing must have fallen out of my pocket when Sami attacked me. If that machine is still recording, I'll have everything I need. If there's a God, he won't let Sami find it before I do.
Austin: Now I'm walking out of here alone.
Sami: No, Austin.
Austin: No, you will not follow me. Do you hear me? You're going to stay here. You're going to have class for once in your life. You're going to stay here, and you're going to cry, and you're going to feel sorry for yourself alone. You will not make a scene. Do you hear me?
Sami: Austin, I can't wake up tomorrow morning without you by my side.
Austin: Oh, Sami, you'll manage. You always do. You know, just think what a relief it's going to be not to spend every waking hour thinking of ways to put one over on me.
Sami: No, Austin, please, just listen to my vows. I know them by heart. If you hear them, I know you'll know how much you mean to me.
Austin: Sami, whatever vows you've written, you've already broken them. Now let go of my arm.
Sami: No, Austin, please don't leave me! You can't leave me, Austin! I'll die without you! Please! Please don't leave me! Please! Please, Austin!
