Shawn-D: What's up? Did I forget to shave today or something? Is everything okay? & Did I do something?

Belle: No, no, I'm just surprised you wanted to hang out with me this afternoon, that's all.

Shawn-D: Why?

Belle: You've been busy. Basketball, Jan -- she seems to need you a lot lately.

Jan: [Groans] Oh, God. What is wrong with me?

Mimi: I'll tell you what's wrong with you. You're a first-class bitch.

Alice: Oh, Sami, thank you so much for giving me a lift over from the hospital.

Sami: Well, I never pass up the chance to look at jewelry, especially diamonds. You know, I'm hoping that Austin is going to give me an engagement ring soon.

Man: I always said I wanted to be a millionaire by the time I turned 30. Thanks to you guys, I beat my goal by two years.

Austin: You know, Burton, this deal is great for all of us. Congratulations.

Nicole: Let's hear it for being rich.

Burton: Amen. Austin, I'll talk to you soon. Thanks again. And, Nicole, what can I say? I'm single, and I'm, uh, in the book.

Nicole: Ha ha. I'll keep that in mind.

Austin: Take care.

Nicole: Good job.

Austin: Oh! Well, I don't deserve all the credit, you know? You -- you did close the deal.

Nicole: I guess we make a good team.

[Telephone is]

Glen: Yeah?

Barb: Hey, it's me.

Glen: Oh, man. Thanks for wing me up, Barb. I can't afford to be late for work.

Barb: Oh, I wish you didn't - have to work the late shift.

Glen: I'm just lucky to have a job at all.

Barb: Well, babe, if things turn out the way I hope, then maybe you can kiss that stupid job goodbye.

Glen: Barb, whatís going on? When are you coming from your uncle's? I need you here next to me.

Barb: Glen, listen to me. - I'm not at my uncle's. I told you that 'cause I didnít' want you to worry. I'm in Salem.

Glen: Salem? What the hell are you doing in Salem?

Lexie: Oh.

Lexie: Rolf, did you speak with my father?

Rolf: Your father has ordered me to counsel you, Alexandra, to watch over you and protect you. You must be brave. - You must be made of steel. If you appear weak or vulnerable, you will lose the battle.

Lexie: No, I-I can't lose. Isaac's my whole life.

Rolf: Well, and that is why you will be strong --

Glen: How can you get money in Salem?

Glen: Why the hell did you go back to Salem? Didn't we have enough trouble with those people, huh? You had to go back for more?

Barb: I'm doing it for you, Glennie -- for us.

Glen: Doing what?

Barb: I figured out a way to get us some money so we can have a better life.

Glen: How can you get money in Salem? What the hell are you talking about, Barb?

Barb: Look, I can't go into it right now, okay? But you're going to be proud of me. I'm sending you kisses, all right? I'll talk to you soon.

Glen: No, listen, don't hang up. I don't care about money. You're all that I want. Come back now, And I'll take care of you.

Barb: If you get canned from hat crummy job. It's happened before, only this time, I could be pregnant. Babies cost money -- lots of it. So let me handle this.

Glen: I don't like it. Remember what happened to Marlo? She didn't come back alive from Salem.

Barb: Glen, I mean, you don't think they'd kill me, do you?

Glen: I'm sure that's what happened to Marlo, and I don't want it to happen to you. I need you too much. So don't argue wit me. Get your tail out of that town now.

Lexie: Rolf, tell me what my father would do.

Rolf: Do you know the expression "an iron fist in a velvet glove," m? That is Stefano. His power lies in the threat of violence. On the outside, he is calm, cool, but there is a volcano inside waiting to erupt if he is crossed. People sense this power and they quake in their shoes.

Lexie: I wish he were here right now.

Rolf: Well, since he is not, may I suggest that you are capable of finding a way to silence Barb permanently?

Barb: These folks in Salem -- they'll get into so much hot water if another dead body showed up in their town. They won't kill me.

Glen: Hello Barb, you here? I can't hear you.

Barb: Sorry, baby. Uh, don't worry about me, okay?

Glen: Well, I am worried. I'm coming out there.

Barb: No, Glen, you can't, you've got to go to your job. You're going to get fired for sure.

Glen: Money's not important, babe.

Barb: The hell it isn't. Besides, it's not about money for Godís sake. It's about the family we're going to have, just as soon as I give you that baby you've always wanted. I'll talk to you later.

Glen: No, Barb, don't hang up. Barb!

Barb: What kind of woman keeps her best friend's kid and lies about it? That Lexie Carver is no better than me. No reason in the world why I shouldn't get some of that money she's got. You know what? I do hope Glen comes here.

Mimi: Shawn doesn't belong to you, Jan, and if you don't quit trying to steal him, you're going to bring down the wrath of Mimi Lockhart on your thick head.

Jan: You can' tell me --

Mimi: I am telling you. Keep your grabby hands off Shawn.

Jan: Like you wouldn't be all over him if you got a chance?

Mimi: Wrong. Unlike you, I value my friends. Belle and Shawn are the best. They have waited a long time to get together, and now that they finally have a chance, I'm not going to let you blow it for them.

Jan: Get out of my face, Lockhart. I don't have to sten to you.

Mimi: Heed my warning, bitch -- stay away from Shawn.

Jan: Go to hell.

Shawn-D: I know it seems weird that Iíve been talking to Jan so much lately. It's weird to me, to be honest with you, but, Belle, you know Iíd never do anything to hurt you, right? I really wish I could explain to you what's going on, but that's just not something I can do right now. If it helps, it's not what you think, okay? There's nothing going on between Jan and me. There couldn't be. You are the only girl I'm thinking about, and I am thinking about you all the time.

Belle: Shawn, I know you would never hurt me, but when I see you and Jan talking, it looks like you guys have a secret.

Shawn-D: Can we -- can we just not talk about Jan? Instead, why donít we, uh... Why don't we talk about our movie date?

Belle: Our second official date.

Shawn-D: Yeah, that is, if you're still going with me.

Belle: Sure.

Shawn-D: Okay, 'cause I can't wait.

Sami: I am so glad that you asked me to come with you. Seeing those jewels gave me some good ideas. - Do you think that Austin is going to notice that my eyes are sparkling like diamonds?

Alice: Don't go pulling a lot of strings. Let him come to you. You know, Austin is his own man. He doesn't like to be manipulated.

Sami: That's sweet of you to give me advice, but I think it's tougher to catch a man than when you got Dr. Horton. I mean, it's the 21st century now. I guess you have to give a guy a little push.

Nicole: You know, Austin, you did the groundwork while Victor and I were in Puerto Rico. This wouldn't have happened without you. You impress me more and more every day. You are a natural.

Austin: Titan's track record had a lot to do with it. Burton was basically sold before he even took the meeting, so... So... How are you doing?

Nicole: Oh, come on, Austin. Don't start with that.

Austin: You bring it out in me.

Nicole: Why, 'cause Iím such a mess?

Austin: No, you're not a mess at all. You're actually one of the strongest people that I know, but you don't have to be strong all the time, you know? So... If you ever need someone to talk to who understands, I'm here.

Sami: There you are.

Austin: Sami. What's up?

Sami: Lunch -- you and me? We had a date, remember?

Austin: Right. Oh. I was supposed to meet you. Nicole and I had a very important business meeting. I'm -- Iím sorry. I should have called you.

Sami: That's okay. Don't worry about it. Are you through? I mean, life can't be all work, right? You have to have some fun, too.

Nicole: This is perfect timing. I have somewhere to go. Good job, partner.

Austin: You too, partner.

Austin: Congratulations.

Sami: For what?

Austin: Well, I could see You were dying to say something rude to Nicole..

Sami: What, you mean like "get your dirty hands off my man"?

Austin: Yeah, something like that.

Sami: Yeah.

Austin: But you didnít. Good for you.

Sami: She just really makes me want to spit. I mean, she thinks she's such a hotshot, and everyone knows how she got to the top.

Austin: She's a good businesswoman.

Sami: You know what? Maybe we don't have to talk about her... Or any woman. Let's talk about you and me.

Austin: Okay. What about you and me?

Sami: Well, I had an inspiring experience earlier that made me think about things.

Austin: Oh, yeah? What was that?

Sami: Well, for one, I'm not going to start dumb fights with Nicole, because I'm happy that you have such a good job at Titan.

Austin: Oh, yeah? Why's that?

Sami: 'Cause now you have responsibilities.

Austin: Oh, Sam-- well, I mean, I don't think of you and Will as responsibilities. I mean, we're practically family, and someday, I'd like to add to that family. I'm really looking forward to that.

Sami: I am, too. But, you know, we won't officially be a family - until you and I are married.

Austin: Sami --

Sami: Well, you know it's true.

Austin: You know what? Don't bring it up again.

Belle: Oh, my gosh, look at that shirt. It'll be perfect for our date. I love the color. It is so pretty. And the way it goes with that skirt -- - but now that you've seen it, I can't get it. I have to find something different because I want to surprise you. For some reason, I want you to faint when you pick me up for our date. Shawn, what are you --

Belle: Okay, what was that about?

Shawn-D: What, didn't you like it?

Belle: Yeah, I -- no, no, it's just that we're in public. I don't know.

Shawn-D: You know, you were talking about surprising me, so I just wanted to surprise you.

Belle: Well, you did that, and you can do that anytime you want to.

Shawn-D: Okay, well, good, because, you see, when Iím with you, I can't help wanting to kiss you, and the funny thing is, when Iím not with you, I can't help thinking about wanting to kiss you, 'cause, you see, you're a very distracting girl.

Belle: Okay. Where was I? Shopping for a dress for our date, right.

Shawn-D: Right.

Belle: I'm sorry. Did you want to go shop for guy stuff?

Shawn-D: Are you kidding me? I don't want to go shopping. You must have me confused with Mimi.

Belle: Not after that kiss. Well, I guess, yeah, kind of. It's just I'm so used to being here with her or Chloe, and we go shopping, we get coffee, and we talk about --

Shawn-D: Oh, wait, wait. Hold on a second. Let me guess what you talk about. Uh, the weather?

Belle: No.

Shawn-D: No, no. Politics?

Belle: No. You know what we talk about. Guys.

Shawn-D: Yeah? Well, I like to talk to you. Not about guys, but, you know, you.

Belle: Me?

Shawn-D: Yeah.

Belle: What about me?

Shawn-D: Well, you know, things have been kind of intense ever since we got back from Puerto Rico, and then senior year starting up and all. I just want to make sure you're okay.

Belle: Yeah, I'm okay.

Shawn-D: Yeah? Well... We went through something that was kind of rough over there. I mean, we almost died in that cavern.

Belle: I know. I think about it all the time, you know? I have dreams -- bad ones, but... It wasn't all bad. I mean... Philip and I are better friends now than ever, and Mimi and I got our friendship back.. I also learned a lot of important things about you. You know, like you're there for me, for little stuff and for life-and-death stuff. I learned I can always count on you, Shawn.

Shawn-D: Yes. You can.

Belle: So see? It wasn't all bad. And then there was the beach and the moonlight --

Shawn-D: Ooh, you know, that part, yeah. I remember the midnight swims, just the two of us. I seem to remember us not being able to stop kissing.

Belle: Yeah, yeah, I remember that.

Shawn-D: Yeah, I don't think Iím ever going to forget it.

Belle: Me either. Everything about that night was so amazing, Shawn. I'd like to go back there sometime -- just with you, though.

Shawn-D: All right. First chance we get.

Mimi: So cute! You guys are shop...Ping. Oops. Ha ha. Another example of my famous lousy timing.

[Doorbell rings]

Barb: That's more like it. Guess you know who I am now, huh? Yeah, the lady of the house must be expecting me. Oh, I get it. They told you to give me the silent treatment. That's okay. Doesn't bother me none. I am just drinking in the atmosphere. Damn, this place smells like money. You live in, right? Must be nice, working in a big old mansion.

Eliana: Mrs. Carver is in the living room.

Barb: Oh, well, la-di-da. Let's go check out Mrs. Carvah. Hey, Lex. Glad to see me?

Lexie: Get up. You're not here by invitation. Don't you dare make yourself comfortable in my home.

Barb: You can't talk to me that way.

Lexie: The hell I can't. You barged in here yesterday full of a lot of garbled nonsense, and now you're back to --

Barb: Damn straight Iím back. - I've got your number, lady. Bo and Hope have got Marlo's kid. There's no use denying it. I know, and if that isn't bad enough, I'm pretty sure you've got theirs. Talk about sick. You know, where I come from, people don't steal their friends' babies. So that why I'm here -- to tell you the jig's up, honey. You know, I don't know why you'd do something so evil, but you're not going to get away with it.

Lexie: Don't threaten me, Barb. I don't know where you got this crazy idea that our babies were switched, but you're dead wrong.

Barb: Oh, yeah? Then how come J.T. Brady's DNA matched my husband Glen's?

Nicole: Jan... Hey. Oh, you poor thing. Come -- sit with me a minute, okay?

Jan: I'm sorry I shot your father. I didn't mean to kill him. I didn't want to --

Nicole: Jan, Jan, listen. I have a feeling what's making you feel this way isn't really the shooting. Look, it's not a crime to need help, okay? Tell me what my father did to you.

Mimi: The queen of bad timing -- that's me. All right, Iím out of here. Call me later. Be good.

Shawn-D: Yes.

Belle: You know, you have to admit, Mimi's unique.

Shawn-D: That's a good thing.

Belle: Yeah, but I wouldn't want a dozen Mimiís running up to me when --

Shawn-D: When your boyfriend's about to kiss you.

Belle: Yeah. Shawn, I want to kiss you, but there's something I have to say.

Shawn-D: Oh, no, you're getting all serious on me.

Belle: You started it when you were talking about surviving on the island.

Shawn-D: Talk to me.

Belle: Okay. Well, when we left Salem to go on this trip, it was like I was this little kid who needed her dad to protect her. Granted, not everyone has a father who comes to the rescue like John Black, but my dad didn't go on this trip. You, Philip, and I were forced to rely on each other, and I hope I never feel that scared ever again.

Shawn-D: Yeah, me too.

Belle: But we got through it. I mean, Brady was there in the end, and Mimi and Chloe did whatever they could. But the reason I got home in one piece was because of you, Shawn.

Shawn-D: You were there for me, too, Belle.

Belle: No, don't even try to compare, okay? You held me together when I was falling apart. You made me feel safe, Shawn, which is something only my mom and dad can do. It's... So strange for me to have such strong feelings for someone who's not in my family. I know you're thinking, "uh-oh, Belle's getting serious" or whatever, but I just want you to know that I am so grateful to be home. I mean, we're in Salem. We have our whole senior year ahead of us, and the best part is I have a date to go see a movie with the greatest guy at Salem High. Don't you have anything to say?

Shawn-D: Just this. You get the picture?

Belle: I think we might need to try that again.

Shawn-D: Yeah?

Alice: [Clears throat]

Shawn-D: Hi, Gran.

Belle: Mrs. Horton, we were just --

Alice: You two don't have to explain to me. I've been there. Now, I have a surprise for you two adorable children.

Lexie: Barb, you've overlooked something very important. And not being from Salem, you probably don't know that at the time Hope got pregnant, she was suffering from amnesia.

Barb: Yeah, right. Tell me another one.

Lexie: No, seriously. It's not something she goes around advertising. You know, it's hard for her to accept that she slept with another man while she was married to Bo. But it did happen, at least once. And no one here from Salem knew where she was or who she was with. It might very well have been Glen.

Barb: No way. I'm not falling for any of your tricks.

Lexie: Well, it's the God's honest truth. But don't take my word for it. Go to Hope. Tell her that Glen's DNA matches her son's. - Now, she might tell you where to get off, but then again, Hope's a real family person. She might decide to leave Bo and marry the father of her child. Or she might decide to have Glen move to Salem and share custody of J.T. Either way, I guess you'll be out in the cold, Barb.

Barb: Shut up. I'm not buying into any of this.

Lexie: I told you. Ask Hope.

Barb: Oh, I will go to Hope if you want me to. Is that what you want me to do, Lexie? You want me to show her the DNA results proving that Glen Reiber is her baby's father? Except J.T's not her baby. He's Marlo's. You know it and I know it.

Lexie: Okay. Let's talk about Marlo, shall we? It's so sad the way her life was cut short. I know you weren't a big fan of hers, but she was a human being, after all, and then she just disappeared. No trace of her left. And no one is ever going to find her body.

Sami: Austin, what's the deal? Did I say something wrong?

Austin: No, you didn't say anything wrong. It's just that you keep bringing up marriage. You want me to hurry up and ask you, and then when I do, it'll be a total letdown.

Sami: Well, that's not possible. But I can breathe again, 'cause I-I thought you were going to say that you didn't want to marry me. I've been counting on you. I mean, Will and I both count on -- I'm doing it again. I'm sorry.

Austin: If you stop trying to make it happen, maybe it'll happen sooner.

Sami: You don't have to convince me anymore. I'm turning over a new leaf.. Not one more word about marriage will ever escape my lips. I thought you were going to say that you thought we should see other people. You don't feel that way, right? I mean, it's been so wonderful since we really committed to each other, and -- I mean, it feels good to you, too, right, that we're getting closer and building towards a -- building towards a stronger relationship?

Austin: Yeah. It feels wonderful to me, too. It feels right.

Sami: Then I'm never going to say the "m" word again. Except maybe you could tell me when it's gonna --

Austin: Sami.

Sami: Well, Iím not saying a date, 'cause obviously that's totally too much pressure, but, you know, with the holidays coming up, it would be nice to know that a special present...

Austin: Sami. No.

Sami: Come on, a hint.

Austin: No, no, no, no, no, no.

Sami: Please, a hint.

Austin: No hints, no clues, nothing about wedding dresses - or shoes or tuxedos or rice or cakes -- nothing white. I don't want to hear anything white. The whole topic is off limits.

Sami: Okay, fine.

Austin: Okay, fine.

Sami: Fine, fine.

Austin: Good.

Sami: So...

Austin: So, oh, Nicole and I just signed this big merger deal. My star is rising at Titan. It's money in the bank, sweetheart. No, seriously, I'm really enjoying it, you know? And according to Nicole, she and Victor are very pleased with the work that Iím doing.

Sami: Yeah, well, I... Just bet that Nicole is pleased.

Austin: Yeah, I know the two of you had your differences, you know, but she's good at her job, you know? And when I started working with her, I have to admit that I thought she was going to pull that whole diva routine, but it's not like that. She is totally professional.

Sami: You don't think it's strange that she's so high on you all of a sudden?

Austin: I'm bringing in a lot of business.

Sami: Austin, when we were living at the Kiriakis mansion, she was terrible to you. She hated the sight of you.

Austin: No, she didn't hate me. You know, I challenged her to respect herself. That made her nervous.

Sami: Austin, I don't trust her, and I don't think you should, either. If Nicole is being nice to you, it's because she wants something. You can count on that.

Nicole: Did my father try to have sex with you?

Jan: What?

Nicole: Jan, I'm sorry to ask you this question, but I've got to know. Did he feed you some line about how he had to experiment to find out if you could play a sex scene on camera?

Jan: What are you doing?

Paul: I'm just teaching you to act. Not that you have much to learn, actually.

Jan: Are you serious?

Paul: Of course. You just need to be a little more natural, that's all. See, it won't look real on the screen unless it's real for you. Look at me. I'm your lover. When you see me, you melt. Your body's like a wave. It flows right into me. You understand? Okay, here, you try it. Show me.

Paul: To the left. Yeah, arch your back. Lift your breasts. You got to have it that's it. Beautiful. Beautiful.

Jan: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What are you doing?

Paul: I'm just helping you get into it, that's all.

Jan: No.

Paul: Come on, relax. You're doing fine, baby.

Jan: No! I said no! I said no! Stop it! No! No!

Paul: Hey, relax. Hey, it's too late! Camera's rolling, baby! The camera's rolling.

Jan: Don't! Get off of me!

Paul: You might as well enjoy it!

Jan: No! No! No!

Paul: Keep screaming and I'll kill you, all right? Shut up!

Jan: Look, I don't want to talk about what happened. I'm sorry if it doesn't seem like a big enough deal to you, but... Paul, he -- he promised he'd make me a star, and like some idiot I bought it. That's what happened. That's all. Now he's dead, and I just -- I don't want to even think about him anymore.

Barb: When I remember how nice I thought you were the first time Glen and I met you, you were probably playing us from the very beginning. Stealing another woman's kid -- that's just evil. And Glen's right. Your father probably did kill Marlo. But you're not going to scare me out of getting what I came here for. You know, I'm not as dumb as you think. They've already found one dead body in this house, and if a second one shows up, the cops are going to be all over you. Stefano DiMera's left town, but you're still here. They can track the bodies back to you. And then you'd be in big trouble. Oh, and another thing. There's an envelope with all the evidence in it -- the DNA results, the whole shebang -- and I've already told Glen if anything happens to me, to take that envelope straight to the police. Now, Hope Brady's husband is a cop, so Iím sure he'll find it all very interesting.

Lexie: So, you decided to come to Salem armed with your vicious lie about Hope's baby. What does Glen say about that? Hmm? Oh, he doesn't know, does he? Mnh-mnh. You didn't have the guts to tell him that you've come here trying to squeeze money out of innocent people.

Barb: No. Glen doesn't know yet, but he will. And if this were a lie, you would have thrown me out of here a half-hour ago. See, Iíve got you between a rock and a hard place, Lexie, 'cause I can prove Iím telling the truth.

Lexie: You know what? You've taken up enough of my time. What's it going to cost me to get rid of you?

[Slurping and gulping]

Lexie: I'm listening. What do you want?

Barb: You should be able to figure that out, as smart as you are. I want it all -- the outfits, the fancy furniture, the servant lady to answer my doorbell. Oh, and a fancy house for me and my husband to live in. And lots of money for us to spend. Your money. I'll take the first installment now.

Lexie: What are you talking about, first installment?

Barb: Have you ever stayed at the Turnpike Motel? No, of course you havenít. Not with all the money your daddy's got. You're too good for a place like that. Well, you know what? So am I. So Iím checking out of that dump and into a luxury suite at the Salem Inn, which means I'll need $5,000 to start off with in my hand now.

Lexie: I don't have that ki--

Barb: Get me the money, and we'll talk about what's next. 'Cause Iím not leaving Salem till I get everything I want. You got that?

Austin: Look, I know that you're worried that Nicole's going to come on to me, but it's not like that.

Sami: You don't know Nicole the way I do. I don't trust her, and I never will.

Nicole: You're in a bad place, Jan, and if you don't get some help, I can see you going down the same path as I did. And it won't make you any happier than it made me.

Jan: Stop talking like you know me. You donít. Nobody does.

Nicole: You're right. You're right, I don't know you at all. But one look at your face when I mention my father's name, and I think I have a pretty good idea of what he did to you.

Jan: Shut up about me and Paul.

Nicole: Jan, look --

Jan: Shut up! Look, it is my life, and I don't want you or anybody else butting in.

Nicole: I am not going to let you ruin another girl's life, dad. In fact, Iím going to have a little talk with Shawn Brady.

Belle: What's the surprise, Mrs. Horton?

Shawn-D: Yeah, what is it, Gran?

Alice: I wish Tom could see the two of you now. You look so young, so full of promise for the future. But you haven't turned your back on the past, on the values we all hold dear. I -- bless you, children. Thank you so much.

Belle: Oh, my gosh, it's the ruby.

Alice: Yes, the one that tom gave me for our 30th wedding anniversary.

Shawn-D: Wow, 30 years. .

Alice: The blink of an eye. We filled the years we were given with so much love that when the ruby was stolen, a part of my heart went with it. Now I've got it back. Thank you both.

Shawn-D: Gran, I'm just glad we could get it back for you.

Belle: Me too. You and Dr. Horton are so inspiring.

Alice: So are you. More than you know. Now, why don't you get back to what you were doing?

Belle: What Mrs. Horton said was so amazing. And we're back at home looking forward to a great year. I'm just so happy.

Shawn-D.: Me too.

Mimi: Oh, Mrs. Horton, hi.

Alice: Oh, hello, Mimi.

Mimi: Ooh, that's it, isn't it -- the ruby? Wow.

Alice: Yes, the ruby. Wow!

Mimi: I've got my eye on you, Spears. You're not getting away with it.

Alice: You shouldn't talk to people that way.

Mimi: Oh, yes, I must.

Alice: Wh--

Mimi: Get out of here, Jan.

Shawn-D: What's going on?

Jan: Why don't you go to hell, Lockhart?

Belle: Don't answer her, Mimi.

Mimi: You better stay away from Shawn. He doesn't want anything to do with a tramp like you.

Lexie: Now what? She wants money.

Rolf: I heard. It's $5,000.

Lexie: You want me to give in to her demands?

Rolf: Do as I tell you.

Lexie: Here. Take your money and get out of my sight.

Barb: Whoo. Now that's what I call fast service. But you're not going to get rid of me till I get everything I came for.

Lexie: What more do you want, Barb?

Barb: You're kidding, right? You expect me to be satisfied with a piddling 5 grand? I want a million, cash...

Lexie: Oh...

Barb: Unmarked bills.

Lexie: No.

Barb: What? Don't look at me so shocked. You've lied and cheated ever since you brought that baby home from the hospital. Put $1 million in my hand, and I'll let you keep him.

Lexie: I don't have $1 million. My husband's a police officer.

Barb: Your dad's got half the money in the world. Tell him you need $1 million, or you're gonna lose your kid. Now, Iíll be at the Salem Inn, so don't keep me waiting.

Lexie: Rolf! Rolf! She...Threatened me. Oh, my God. Oh, my God, oh, my God. How did his happen? Why did this happen, Rolf? Look, if I don't give her the money --

Rolf: Are you going to let that floozy ruin your life, or are you going to stop her for good? It's up to you, Alexandra.

[Telephone rings]

Glen: Hello?

Barb: Glen, I just wanted to let you know that everything is copacetic.

Glen: And what's that supposed to mean?

Barb: We are on our way to getting everything we ever wanted.

Glen: Barb, I'm worried about you. Come home.

Barb: Not yet, but soon, real soon, okay? I'll fill you in on the details later. I love you. Bye. Ahh... Oh... $100... $200... $300...

Lexie: Okay, uh, first thing I have to do is cancel the party for Hope. I cannot deal with that on top of Barb and her threats.

Rolf: No. No, you must not cancel the party. We have to go through with our plans to have Hope remember her life as Gina. Much depends on it. This Barb situation will be taken care of.

Lexie: Rolf, you heard her. She won't go away without $1 million.

Rolf: Even then, would she be satisfied?

Lexie: Oh, God, you're right. She's just going to want more and more.

Rolf: Your father has asked that we call him back this evening. He will then give us precise instructions.

Lexie: What instructions?

Rolf: This woman must be eliminated, Alexandra, as soon as possible.

Sami: Are you sure you have to go back to work this afternoon?

Austin: Yes. And so do you.

Sami: Okay. I'll make us dinner tonight.

Austin: I'd love that.

Sami: Just don't mention Nicole, okay? Even her name is enough to ruin my appetite.

Jan: I can't help it if Shawn wants to be my friend. You need to get a life, Lockhart. You can't tell me who I can be friends with.

Mimi: Want to bet? You've already ruined my senior year, so you better keep your slutty hands off Shawn.

Shawn-D: Hey, Mimi!

Belle: Mimi, stop it!

Jan: Just leave me alone, Lockhart!

Shawn-D: Look out!

[Car tires screech]

Shawn-D: Jan! Jan, no!
