Brady: I'm getting stronger. Let's see if I can still do that old jump shot. Whoa, boy! Get a grip, Brady.
Chloe: Belle, are you here?
Brady: What the -- what the hell are you doing in here, walking in like you own the place?
Chloe: Belle gave me her key. It is her house, too, you know? She didn't think anybody would be home.
Brady: Well, she's wrong. And I'm not in the mood for company.
Chloe: Well, then, why don't you leave?
Hope: Hey, cuz. Hey, hey, hey. Hi, what are you doing? What are you doing here all by your lonesome?
Jennifer: I'm just waiting for Jack.
Hope: Your hero. Why the long face?
Jennifer: Force of habit? I don't know.
Hope: The man did save your life. I hope you did something nice to thank him.
Jennifer: Well, I mean, I-I tried to tell him a couple of times, but... I don't -- I don't even
know if I said it in so many words. It seems like I either got interrupted or it just wasn't the right moment.
Hope: Well, you got to find the right moment. Here's your chance. Here he comes. Good luck.
Jack: Just the person I wanted to see.
Austin: Well, it's a little early for a drink.
Sami: Come on, Austin, throw caution to the wind. You got to loosen up. We're dating, right?
Man: Welcome. What can I get you guys?
Austin: Um... From the draft.
Man: All right.
Sami: I think Iím going to have a Cosmopolitan, like those girls in "Sex and The City."
Man: Okay, coming right up.
Austin: Sami, you're sexy enough. You're turning heads all over the place.
Sami: Well, the only head I want to turn is yours, baby.
Brandon: So, when the D.N.A. results come back, Glen will be out of your life for good.
Brandon: Because Isaac isn't his son or Marloís.
Brandon: It's still hard for me to wrap my mind around that one, that you're raising Bo and Hope's son.
Lexie: I'm not.
Brandon: You what?
Lexie: I've got news for you, Brandon. Bo isn't Isaacís father.
John: Hey, Hope.
Hope: Jeepers. You scared me.
John: I'm glad I ran into you. I tried calling, but I didn't feel like leaving a message.
Hope: What's up?
John: We need to talk. Come on.
John: So, Hope, about our little secret...
Hope: What? You worried I won't keep it? I'm the one who convinced you no one can know. John, I have no intention of telling anyone that you are J.T.ís father. You, me, and Marlena are the only people that know.
John: Wrong. Let's add one more person to the list...
Brady: How diva-like of you, trying to kick me out of my own pad.
Chloe: Now, Brady, if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.
Brady: Great. Now you're quoting "Bambi." Where's Belle?
Chloe: She and I were at Salem Place. We were shopping and I got tired, and she wanted to keep shopping, so she told me to meet her here. And if I really bother you that much, you can wait in your room.
Brady: Thanks. You know, I could also wait on the balcony, and maybe I'd fall off. You'd like that, wouldn't you?
Chloe: What is this?
Brady: Chloe, put that back.
Chloe: This wouldn't be you as a baby, would it?
Brady: Chloe, put it back where it belongs.
Chloe: Fine, whatever.
Brady: It's my mother. It's my -- my mom and my dad and me when I was 3 months old.
Chloe: Wow. Look at your mom. She's beautiful. Look at her hair. Was it naturally curly?
Brady: Yeah. Yeah, everything about her was natural. It's the way she was. My dad said... No pretense. You know, he also said, soon before she died, she had this -- this glow around her, like she had already been to heaven.
Chloe: I'm sorry.
Brady: Sorry for what?
Chloe: I'm sorry that you were so young when you lost your mom. You're obviously very proud of her.
Brady: Yeah. Yeah, I am. Uh, so, anyway, about that dance, I'm really looking forward to seeing you and Philip bust a move on the dance floor tonight.
Chloe: You're going to the Last Blast?
Brady: Yeah, my grandfather had volunteered to chaperone, and I got suckered into going in his place.
Chloe: Oh, okay, I was thinking that you were taking a date or something. Figures. I didn't think a girl would be desperate enough to go out with you.
Jack: Voilŗ! This is the artwork that Abigail did last week in class. I just dropped her off. And as we speak, she's probably creating a whole new masterpiece. Very talented, our daughter -- talented, smart, sweet.
Jack: Well, I can see we're back in the land of doom and gloom, so Iíll be on my way, I'll pick up Abigail, and I'll see you back at the house.
Jennifer: Wait! Don't -- don't go, Jack. I have to talk to you.
Jack: We can chat another time when you're in a better mood.
Jennifer: No, no, I want you to sit down. This is very important. Sit down. Now, Hope was just telling me something, or rather, she was reminding me of something. And I'm kind of embarrassed that she had to.
Jack: Well, if this is girl talk stuff --
Jennifer: No, no, it's not girl talk. Okay. Will you come with me?
Jack: You just told me to sit down here.
Jennifer: I know, but I changed my mind. Come on, let's go. Follow me.
Hope: What are you talking about? Who else knows that Bo isn't J.T.'s father?
John: Try Lexie?
Hope: That's right.
John: That's right? That's all you're going to say? That's right?
Hope: She overheard me talking to Marlena. I couldn't deny it when she asked me.
John: Well, then why didn't you tell me about it?
Hope: Because I thought that Marlena had told you, John.
John: She didn't say anything. I think everyone's trying to stay real quiet about this and hopes that it all just goes away!
Hope: Lexie would never say anything to anyone. She's one of my best friends. John, she would never do anything to hurt me or Bo or you, for that matter. Actually, I'm surprised she even mentioned it to you.
John: She knows the truth. She knows that Iím J.T.ís father.
Hope: What? Oh, my God. Oh, my God. How? How could she --
John: She overheard me talking to Stefano.
Hope: What do you mean "overheard you talking to Stefano"? Are you saying that Stefano knows?
John: Yes, he knows! He's -- he's known for a long time.
Hope: Oh, my God.
Lexie: Brandon, you're the only person I can talk to about this.
Brandon: John Black? I don't get it.
Lexie: Well, it's a long story, and I'll go into details later, but I now know that I'm not just dealing with Hope's baby, and I am so relieved about that. Oh, I feel so much better.
Brandon: Lexie, what are you talking about?
Lexie: Come on, Brandon, can't you see? If Isaac was Bo and Hope's son, I would be breaking up a family. But since John's the father, and he seems perfectly willing to let Bo raise his son, well, he wouldn't have a problem with me raising him, either, now, would he?
Brandon: Does John know that you and Abe are raising his son?
Lexie: No. And he can never find out.
Brandon: And what about Abe? He doesn't even know that we have Hope's baby, much less that John's the father.
Brandon: And you're not going to tell him?
Lexie: Brandon, I can't. Abe's the Commander of the police department. I can't trust that he'll keep our secret.
Brandon: Lexie, now, maybe I shouldn't even be saying this, but... If Abe ever does suspect anything, in order to keep your son, you might have to leave him.
Man: Cold beer and a sexy drink for a very sexy lady.
Sami: Thank you.
Man: You're welcome.
Sami: Austin, are you spacing on me?
Austin: Ahem. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I was, um, I was thinking about my mother, worried about her. I talked to her on the phone. She says she's okay, but...
Sami: Well, that's great. You know, good to hear. Maybe we could, um, change the subject, you know, uh, talk about Will. He wanted me to tell you how well he's doing in school lately, and, uh, and I think it's because of you, how you've been encouraging him. I'm so glad that you're in his life.
Austin: Me too.
Sami: Well, you know, you're really good for him and he needs a father.
Austin: Yeah, we just have to make sure that he knows who his father really is -- Lucas.
Sami: Hey, you know, maybe we could, um, go to your place and rent a movie or something. You know -- since we have the babysitter and everything.
Austin: You know what I want to do? Let's go roller-blading.
Austin: No, seriously, let's go roller-blading.
Sami: In this dress?
Austin: No, you change. We'll pick up Will, you know, and --
Sami: Uh, wait. He doesn't even know how --
Austin: We'll teach him. We'll get one -- we'll get him one of those strollers you can, you know, push him while we zip along.
Sami: Yeah. That sounds great.
Austin: Good. Okay.
Sami: Um, you know what? I-I have to go to the ladies' room. I'll be right back.
Austin: Okay, I'll be right here.
Sami: First, I play hard-to-get and that doesn't work, and then I get bold and practically invite him for a roll in the hay and -- and he wants to roller-blade. What does it take to get that guy to commit?
Brandon: Yeah, I'll have another one. Thanks.
Sami: [Thinking] What is that?
Jack: When you spring for cappuccinos, I know you're fattening me up for the kill.
Jennifer: You know, Jack, I used to think that you really did know me, and I used to think that I really did know you. I mean, I thought that I knew everything about you.
Jack: Okay, this is not good. What did I do this time? Can't be the socks on the floor because I know for a fact you never set foot in my bedroom. I am having clothes sent out, by the way, and I -- I mean, I haven't taken any 2-week trips, looking for new business ventures. Of course, maybe at this point you'd like for me to take --
Jennifer: Jack, would you please just shut up?
Jack: Well, that's much more encouraging. You tell me to shut up, I feel we're back on familiar ground.
Jack: What? What? Jennifer, what?
Jennifer: Jack, this -- this isn't easy for me. I... But, actually, this may be one of the easiest things Iíll ever have to tell you.
Jack: Oh, yes, well, that makes a whole lot of sense.
Jennifer: No, I know. It doesn't make any sense at all but, see, this is -- Iím trying to put this all together, okay? And, like I said, I thought that I really knew you. I mean, I thought you were funny, and I thought you were brilliant in some odd sort of way.
Jack: Well, this is going much better now.
Jennifer: But totally irresponsible, insensitive, and self-cantered.
Jack: Okay, folks. Now we're going downhill.
Jennifer: No, no, listen. We -- we did go downhill... But there's another word that describes you, another word that I have recently added, and a couple of days ago, I think I said it off-handed, and maybe I said it so off-handed that you don't even remember, and that's wrong... Because it's a really big deal, and I needed to make more of a point of it.
Jack: Okay then. This word -- what is it?
Hope: Oh, my God. Stefano knows that J.T. is... Oh, my God, John. How does he know?
John: Because he... 'Cause he has his ways.
Hope: You know, Stefano has never missed out on an opportunity to hurt the Bradyís, so why hasn't he told Bo? Why is he keeping it to himself?
John: Just trust me, Hope. He has his reasons, all right? There's no point in analyzing this. The fact of the matter is DiMera is gone.
Hope: Oh, great, so just because he's not in Salem, we're supposed to just forget about it?
John: Yeah, that's right.
Hope: Don't you realize he could use this information against us whenever he wants, wherever he is, John? My God, Lexie, Stefano -- who else is going to find out about our secret?
Hope: John, if he knows about it...
John: No, no...
Hope: Why can't Bo?
John: No, stop.
Hope: Why not? Maybe it's time. Maybe it's time for Bo to know the truth.
Brady: You know, Chloe, I don't know why you persist on putting me down when you know it doesn't affect me.
Chloe: Maybe I think it does. Maybe I think that a lot of things that you say don't affect you, affect the hell out of you.
Brady: All right, just stop. You're getting way too deep for me.
Chloe: And I think that the reason you act so above it all is because you don't have the maturity to confront your feelings in any real way. In fact, I think that you're so immature, I can't believe they would let you be a chaperon at this dance.
Brady: Oh, yeah, because it takes a-a Ph.D. in child psychology to watch a bunch of teenage losers dance the night away in some gym. What was my grandfather thinking, giving me such an awesome responsibility?
Chloe: Okay, what if you saw a bunch of kids sneaking in a bucket of chicken blood to dump on someone's head? Would you be able to handle that?
Brady: Why, do you think that's going to happen again this year?
Chloe: No, it better not. This time, they have Philip to deal with.
Brady: Oh, that's right -- your Knight in shining armor.
Chloe: Actually, he is.
Brady: You know, Chloe, my grandfather's opinion hasn't changed about you or your relationship with Philip. In fact, he thinks Philip's getting a little bit too needy, too involved with you.
Chloe: Philip loves me. If loving someone makes you needy and involved, then I --
Brady: You know, Chloe, one of the most beautiful things to do in the world is watch birds fly.
Brady: The way they... Glide through the sky, surveying the world below -- a little dip here, a flap of the wings there.
Chloe: Yeah, I love to watch birds, too.
Brady: That's why it's so appealing to watch them. They represent freedom... But, you know, Chloe, sometimes, people catch birds, put them in small, little cages, clip their wings.
Chloe: So you're saying that that's what Philip is doing to me?
Brady: I'm saying that you and Philip are like oil and water. I know that. My grandfather knows that. Your relationship is doomed. It's crash-and-burn time, baby.
Brandon: Lexie needs me and I want to be there for her.
Sami: So what does this mean? Now you're, like, interested in her or something?
Brandon: Lexie is a married woman, Samantha. What's gotten into you?
Sami: Well, Lexie certainly seems like she's interested in you, Brandon.
Sami: Excuse me, Lexie.
Lexie: [Surprised] Sami.
Brandon: Samantha, what's up?
Sami: Well, I just wanted to ask Mrs. Carver if she really thinks it's appropriate for a married woman to be holding hands with a sexy single guy in a nightclub.
Lexie: Uh, look, I-I think you misunderstand --
Sami: No, I think I do understand. I mean, everyone in here can see you looking at Brandon like you're in love with him.
Sami: And I don't think Abe would appreciate that.
Brandon: All right, Samantha, you need to chill on this right now.
Sami: You, Brandon -- I mean, can't you find a single girl to hit on?
Brandon: Will you shut up?
Sami: You've never talked to me like that before.
Brandon: Well, you've never acted like this before. Now you owe Lexie an apology.
Sami: What -- for telling the truth?
Brandon: Lexie is going through hell right now, which you know, and I'm here, trying to give her a little comfort, trying to be a friend to her like I was to you, and you blow in and start hassling her. She doesn't need that. Neither do I.
Sami: God, I don't even know what to say. Lexie, I-I forgot about your entire situation
with your baby and that you're really worried about it, and I'm very sorry.
Lexie: Look, why don't you just go on to the ladies' room. That is where you were headed, isn't it? You need to... Calm yourself down. Just chill, okay?
Sami: Yeah. Yeah, right.
Lexie: Be right back.
Brandon: Hey, where are you going? Hold on.
Sami: Oh, God. I really did screw that up. Well, I don't care what they say. I mean, Lexie was definitely coming on to him. [Door opens]
Lexie: What the hell do you think you're doing? Don't you ever pull that crap on me again!
Jack: Let's see. So this word, this adjective -- I'm assuming it's an adjective, unless it's an adverb. It couldn't be a preposition. Definitely not a proposition.
Jack: So, this word...
Jennifer: Okay, this word is a noun.
Jack: Noun. Ha ha.
Jennifer: And the word is... Hero.
Jennifer: Yes. You're my hero... And you're Abbyís hero, and anyone else who was affected by you saving my life.
Jack: Jennifer, it was just all in a day's work.
Jennifer: No, you be quiet. Just let me finish, okay? You showed me what it means to be a man, and you showed me what it means to be the head of a family... And even though we are living in a fractured household, and even though we are living together for the sake of our child, I'm looking at you in a whole different light, Jack.
Jack: Different light? Would that be halogen or strobe?
Jennifer: I'm just saying I am so proud. I am so proud to be sitting on this bench with a man... Who is as brave and has as much character as you do. And Abby -- I mean, you're so wonderful with her, Jack. I mean, the way you guide her and encourage her, and you know you make her laugh so hard. She loves you so much, and, you know, I see how she looks at you for approval. She really relies on you, and when you smile at her and when you put your arms around her, she feels so safe... Like the world is a really great place, as long as she's in your arms.
Jack: I remember when you used to feel the same way.
Jennifer: Jack, what are you doing standing out here in the rain?
Jack: Ow. Okay, don't try to change the subject. You're going to hear from my tailor in the morning. You know, my -- my suit has probably shrunk three sizes while I'm waiting for you to get your head shrunk.
Jennifer: Jack, you've been waiting here for me?
Jack: Well, in a manner of speaking, yes, I have, and mostly been, uh, saving a life here. I mean, this sorry little thing is dying of thirst.
Jennifer: Is there something wrong with the faucet, Jack?
Jack: Something wrong with the faucet? You know what comes through that thing -- the kind of garbage? Aw, I tell you, this nearly killed this little thing -- all that garbage running through it.
Jennifer: Jack, it's not that bad. You could have just used it --
Jack: Oh, you're willing to take a chance on that, huh? No, I'm telling you, this little thing needs all the help it can get. I mean, it hasn't been doing too well up to this point. So that's where the good old-fashioned rainwater comes in.
Jennifer: Rainwater, Jack?
Jack: Yes. Rainwater -- h20, the natural nectar from the heavens. Well, without counting the, uh, acid variety, I think it's already doing miracles. Look at that.
Jennifer: Well, it -- I guess it does look a little healthier, Jack.
Jack: Oh, come on. From the time that I first picked this thing out, I mean, it's -- it's practically flourishing.
Jennifer: You really think so?
Jack: Really. I mean, take it from one who's not -- not a great lover of plants. I'd say that it has made a remarkable recovery, yes.
Jennifer: Well, maybe those little white flowers that you told me about will start to blossom soon.
Jack: Well, maybe, you know. Maybe if you start taking my advice and giving it a little proper care and maybe a...lot of blind faith, it... Who knows? It must just... What the hell is...
Jennifer: What? What? What is it?
Jack: I don't know, some kind of weird little strange growth.
Jennifer: Really? Really? You're serious? Let me see.
Jack: No, I mean, it's like some kind of a mutated or...
Jennifer: Mutated what, Jack?
Jack: There's something growing in there. It's a...
Jack: What, did you get a thorn or something?
Jennifer: Oh, my gosh. It's my ring, Jack. It's my engagement ring.
Hope: Do you understand what Iím saying?
John: No, I don't.
Hope: Maybe it's come down to finally telling Bo the truth.
John: I want you to listen to me. Bo is J.T.'s father, in the truest sense of the word. It is
Bo that's going teach that little boy how to ride a bike. He's going teach him how to throw a football, how to hammer a nail. Bo loves him as his own. I'll be damned if I want to interfere with that. Now J.T. needs to be clear on who his parents are and that is you and that is Bo, and there is no good reason to cloud that issue -- not now, not ever. Our main concern, Hope, is protecting that little boy, and I can do that if I know -- no... If you and I both know that that baby was conceived out of love, and if we know that, we know that he was brought into this world the right way.
Hope: One day, he might want to know about that, John. The day might come when he asks, "why did you decide to have me, mom? What was going on in your life that you decided to have another baby?"
John: And what are you going to say to him, hmm? What are you going to tell him?
Chloe: Don't say that to me! Philip loves me. It's normal and it's real. It's the most real relationship Iíve ever had in my life, and whether or not it works out isn't up to your grandfather. It's up to Philip and me.
Brady: Chloe, you don't know Victor Kiriakis, do you? Let's put it this way -- if the man says the sun shines at night, you better believe the midnight sky will be lit up like a county fair. Don't mess with him. It's going to be the biggest mistake of your life.
Chloe: What are you saying to me?
Brady: I'm saying that Philip's mindset, his grades, and his future are so important to his father, that he'd do anything not to let that get screwed up.
Chloe: Meaning he'll do anything to end my relationship with Philip.
Brady: He's a concerned parent, Chloe, worried about his kid. You do the math.
Chloe: So what do you think the great Victor Kiriakis will try to do?
Man: Do you want another one?
Austin: Mm... Um, yeah. Maybe later.
Brandon: Austin...What's up?
Austin: Um, you seen Sami?
Austin: You mind telling me where she is?
Brandon: She went by. I don't know.
Austin: Well, see, she said she was going to the bathroom --
Brandon: Austin, I'm not her parole officer. I said I don't know.
Austin: Oh, I-Iím sorry. Is there a problem?
Brandon: Right now, it's you.
Austin: Okay, well, I mean, I just come in here and asked you a very simple civil question -- I mean, of course, after you shine me on.
Brandon: What would you like me to do, Austin -- jump up and shake your hand? What's the point?
Austin: Well, I guess the point is that, um, we both have people in common. You know -- someone that you're close to, someone that Iím close to. That kind of thing.
Brandon: I don't get close to a lot of people.
Austin: Well, I mean, you know what we're talking about.
Brandon: Hey, you're the one who's close to Samantha, not me.
Austin: Well, I remember the two of you doing the Tango in -- in Tuscany, and, um, you know, all the time you spent in Europe. I mean, you saved her life. You're going to tell me you're not close with her? You're going to tell me that you don't want to be with her?
Brandon: Get lost.
Austin: All right, let's be straight. You don't like me. I don't like you, and I know damn well that you're in love with Sami and you can't stand the fact that she's with me.
Brandon: You know, we went round and round once before. We can do it again. We can have a little rematch right here, right now.
Lexie: Why the hell did you come on like that?
Sami: Look, Lexie, I said I was sorry.
Lexie: No, sorry's not good enough. Who do you think you are, walking up to me in public, laying that trip on me?
Sami: I just saw you with Brandon, and I thought something was going on.
Lexie: Well, you thought wrong. In fact, you didn't think at all, Sami. If I were after Brandon, would -- would I come on to him in a public place like this where -- where Abe knows practically half the people? And you know what? Even if I was coming on to him, that is none of your damn business.
Sami: Brandon is my friend.
Lexie: Oh, come on, Sami. You're playing Brandon. The whole town knows that he wants to be with you, but you chose Austin.
Sami: And you tell me to mind my own business?
Lexie: Well, you're the one who put your business in the streets. You wanted Austin when he was married to Carrie and you didn't care who knew it, and before that, I mean, you pulled out all the stops, trying to get Austin into your bed and get yourself pregnant, and when he still didn't want to be with you, you wouldn't give up. You just hung on to him like a barnacle until Carrie finally dumped him for Mike Horton.
Sami: And that is supposed to be my fault?
Lexie: Yes. You had Austin's head so turned toward you that he couldn't even see Carrie when she needed him the most. That's why she went to Mike.
Sami: She fell in love with him way before that and --
Lexie: Don't you dare try and rewrite history. I know what happened back in the day because I was there. I saw the misery that you caused your poor sister. You know, I-I just don't know how two good people like Roman and Marlena could have a daughter who does the things that you do.
Sami: Gee, 'cause I was just going to say you're starting to remind me of your father Stefano DiMera.
Lexie: Oh, yeah. I am a DiMera, and proud of it, and you, sweetheart, are a spoiled, selfish, manipulating brat.
Sami: Look, Lexie, why don't we just drop it, okay? I said I was sorry. I admit that I was wrong. I also admit that I did a lot of things in the past that were not so wonderful, but I have changed. I am a different person now.
Lexie: Mm. Nope. You're the one leopard who will never change her spots.
Sami: In the same book that you just quoted, the lion laid down with the lamb.
Lexie: Mm. That's on judgment day, and when that day comes, Sami Brady, you had better stay out of sight because you will still be the same selfish manipulating little girl you've always been.
Sami: Brandon doesn't think so, and neither does Austin.
Lexie: Oh, I think Brandon knows exactly where you're coming from, Sami. You know, you could only string a person on for so long before they realize they're getting conned.
Sami: I am not conning Brandon.
Lexie: Oh, give me a break. You're doing the same thing to Austin. If Austin had any sense at all, he would drop you like a hot rock.
Brady: Chloe, my grandfather is a very reasonable man.
Chloe: Oh, yeah, I've seen how reasonable he is.
Brady: He's just reacting to a very troubling situation. He's worried about Philip's future. Is it so odd that a-a father would be concerned about his son's grades? Philip is going to be the president of Titan one day and in order to do that, he needs to get a good college education from a school like Harvard, Yale, or Princeton, and he can't hit the books if he's got you on his mind!
Chloe: Well, what if Philip doesn't want to run Titan? And what if he doesn't want to go to some stuffy Ivy League College?
Brady: Of course, he does.
Chloe: Oh, my gosh. You don't get it, do you? This is about what Victor Kiriakis wants for Philip. Do you think he's even asked Philip what he wants?
Brady: He doesn't have to. He knows, and if you asked Philip, he would have said the same thing.
Chloe: Don't be so sure.
Brady: What, have you talked to Philip about his future plans?
Chloe: Like I would tell you anything that Philip and I talk about. You've probably got some hidden recorder somewhere and you're going to play a tape later for Mr. Kiriakis.
Brady: [Facetiously] Why, is there something you don't want him to hear?
Chloe: Well, here's something that he should hear -- let people live their own lives!
Brady: That's what he's trying to get you to do.
Chloe: How, by sending you to the dance to spy on us? Oh, my God. I get it. He's sending you to the dance to do something to break up Philip and me.
Brady: [Sighs] Yeah, right. That's the perfect place to do it -- a-a gym full of dancing teenyboppers. Hey, maybe Iíll cut in while you and Philip are dancing -- that'll really ruin things for you two.
Chloe: Uh-oh. I think I hit a nerve. You are going to that dance with an agenda.
Brady: A what?
Chloe: Stop it. Please be honest with me.
Brady: I am being honest with you.
Chloe: You know, sometimes, I just don't get you. I feel like I can talk to you sometimes, and then at other times you're my enemy.
Brady: Yeah, but I never try to clip your wings, now do I, Chloe?
Sami: You've got a lot of nerve, saying that Austin should drop me. What if I told your husband that you were here holding hands with Brandon Walker?
Lexie: Don't you ever, ever threaten me, you got that? I'm the last person you want to mess with.
Sami: Look, Lexie, I don't want any trouble. I just want to make you unders--
Lexie: No, you understand this -- if you know what's good for you, you mind your own business. You stay out of my life.
Austin: Hey, man, any time you want a rematch, you just let me know.
Brandon: Mm. How about now?
Austin: Cool. Let's go. For sure.
Lexie: Wait, wait, hey, hey. Hey, what is going on here?
Brandon: Uh, Austin and I are going to...Step outside.
Lexie: Are both of you crazy? First, your evil girlfriend tries to cause trouble, and now
Austin: Oh, come on, Lexie. You don't have to talk about her like that.
Lexie: Why not? Everyone else does. Will you please just go away? Take Sami with you.
Austin: All right. All right. See you around, Brandon.
Brandon: Oh, yeah.
Austin: See you, Lexie.
Brandon: Hey, are you all right?
Brandon: It's going to be all right. You're going to be all right.
Lexie: Brandon, I don't know what Iíd do without you. I need you so much.
Brandon: Yeah, well, don't worry. I'm not going anywhere.
Sami: Who does that witch think she is, threatening me? All I did was call her on her feelings for Brandon. She is definitely falling in love with him. So Iím going to keep my eye on her.
Jennifer: You know, I remember when I was a Cub Reporter and you were my boss and my mentor, and I was always looking to you for approval.
Jack: And, as I recall, you got it, at least most of the time.
Jennifer: It meant everything to me.
Jack: Yeah, well, that's yesterday's edition. A lot has changed since then.
Jennifer: Yeah, that's true.
Jack: So where does that leave us now?
Jennifer: Well, now that I have seen this new side of you that I respect so much, I think it's going to be a lot easier to live in the same house with you.
Jack: That's a good thing.
Jennifer: And it makes me proud that you're Abbyís father. I think what Iím trying to say, Jack, is that I was so wrong about you.
Jennifer: Oui, toi.
Jack: Ha ha ha.
Jennifer: Ha ha ha. I'm just saying that I-I judged you pretty harshly.
Jack: So what does that mean for us now, Jennifer?
John: You will tell him, "J.T., honey, you were conceived out of love," and that's all he needs to know.
Hope: You remember that moment. I donít. I want to remember. John, I want to remember everything.
