Episode #8071 ~ Quinn is stunned when Shauna reveals a previously unknown connection between them; Flo catches Wyatt off guard with her words and actions.

Provided By Suzanne

Shauna: Bill spencer? Bill...spencer...is wyatt's father?

Quinn: [ Chuckling ] Yes. Shauna, what's wrong?

Bill: Sounds good to me. Katie?

Katie: Oh, yeah, sure. You know what I always say, never too early to learn corporate law.

Bill: [ Laughs ] Alright, justin, school that boy. A-and make sure he takes notes.

[ Phone receiver clicks ] Wow, huh? That kid of ours is something else.

Katie: Yeah, he certainly is.

Bill: You know, I have accomplished a lot in my life, and I'm, uh...proud of many, many things. But nothing makes me more proud than being a father.

Flo: Here you go.

Wyatt: Thank you.

Flo: I wonder if he's still in vegas.

Wyatt: Your dad?

Flo: Yeah, or if he ever even was. I mean, my mom did travel around a lot before she had me.

Wyatt: Yeah.

Flo: But I guess the chances of a dna test, uh, coming back with a good result is...far less likely if he's a fisherman in some remote village in sweden.

Wyatt: True. But you know your dad doesn't actually have to be in the database.

Flo: What do you mean?

Wyatt: Hear me out, here. If the fisherman's cousin somehow left the village and is now living in the states as the ambassador to sweden, well, you might just have hit the jackpot.

Flo: Well, that's only if said cousin is interested in geneaology enough to actually have gotten tested. This is absolutely crazy. There's -- there's no...way I'm gonna be able to find my dad like this.

Wyatt: You know your father's probably not a fisherman in a remote village in sweden, right?

Flo: I know. I know, but...you can't blame me for daydreaming a little bit, right?

Wyatt: [ Chuckles ]

Flo: I mean, I know the kind of men that my mom dated, and my dad is probably in a casino hanging out at a blackjack table throwing back a couple of beers.

Wyatt: Or...he could be the filthy-rich owner of said casino. Huh? What -- dream -- dream big, right? Look, whoever he is, we know one thing.

Flo: What's that?

Wyatt: His life would be much better...if you were in it.

Flo: Thank you for encouraging me to do this. I don't know what's gonna come from it, but I am really, really glad I'm trying.

Wyatt: I'm glad you are, too. Like, finding my father has been life changing. And it's not just the gazillionaire factor here.

Flo: [ Chuckles ]

Wyatt: It's -- there's something cool about knowing where you're from. Half of you, I mean. You know, the half that you've always been curious about.

Flo: Yeah. I just wonder, like...what if i don't like what I discover? Or worse, what if he doesn't like me? I mean, I don't know how he's gonna react to -- to finding out he has this daughter he knew nothing about.

Wyatt: Okay, "a" -- how is he not gonna like you? "B" -- that's if he didn't know who you were. There's something to remember here, too -- he might have willingly walked away.

Flo: Yeah, that's the thing. I have -- I have no idea. My mom never told me anything.

Wyatt: Well, I mean, at least she didn't lie to you about it. Remember, my mom told me that my dad was dead.

Flo: [ Laughing ] I know. God, that would be my luck, right? Go through all this trouble and find out dear old dad's actually six feet under.

Wyatt: Anything is possible. Swedish fisherman, gazillionaires, gamblers, zombies -- who knows, okay? One thing is for sure -- I'm here for you, okay? I'm not gonna let you go through this alone.

Flo: Thank you.

Wyatt: Of course.

Katie: I know how much your boys mean to you.

Bill: I missed out on so much with wyatt and liam. I can't help wondering how different things would have been if their mothers had just given me a chance. Now, I'm not gonna say anything about liam's mom. I don't want to speak ill of the dead. But as far as quinn is concerned, I will always resent her for keeping me from wyatt.

Shauna: You and bill spencer?

Quinn: Yeah, w-- it was a very brief relationship. Are you sure you know who I'm talking about? The guy who publishes all the tabloids?

Shauna: Yes, I know who you're -- why didn't you say anything back then?

Quinn: Because of the way he treated me. Trust me, you wouldn't have said anything either.

Shauna: And you're certain, absolutely certain, that bill spencer is wyatt's father?

Quinn: Yes! Shauna, come on. Why are you freaking out about this?

A whole new way

Flo: So how did you end up finding your dad, anyway? Was it through, like, a dna test, like what I did?

Wyatt: No. No. I actually believed my mother when she said he was dead. Never really occurred to me to go looking for him. And then...hope came into my life.

Flo: Hope, your, um...your sister-in-law?

Wyatt: Yeah. Yeah, no, she's kind of the reason why I went looking for him. Is -- is something wrong?

Flo: No, no, no. I just, um...just thinking how small the world is, you know?

Wyatt: [ Scoffs ] Yeah.

Flo: So how did, um... how did hope help you find your dad?

Wyatt: Well, she recognized this necklace that I was wearing at the time. It was one of my mom's designs. She apparently made one for my father back in the day, um, and he took to it, you know? It was this symbol of power for him -- this family crest. So then he made one for my brother, which was why hope was so shocked to see that I had one, too. I guess you could say that the solution to who my father was was hanging around my neck the whole time, and I didn't even know it.

Flo: Wow. That is crazy.

Wyatt: Yeah.

Flo: Do you think that this department store chain is some guy's symbol of power?

Wyatt: Yes. Or you should stick to this dna test plan. I think that's a good idea.

Flo: [ Laughs ] So, was, um...was quinn upset when you found out?

Wyatt: It wasn't an easy transition for anyone. Uh, there were some serious growing pains. But, man, so worth it. You'll see. I'm telling you, you're -- you're gonna be grateful, too. And, look, I know that we're adults now and everything and it might sound silly to say, but...you're never too old to need your dad.

Katie: So how does it feel to have wyatt back here at spencer?

Bill: Oh, it's great. I'm thrilled. He was wasting his talents at that dress farm. It's good to have him back in his element.

Katie: Good. I'm happy for both of you.

Bill: The only complain i have about wyatt is his mother.

Katie: Well, I'm hardly quinn's best friend, but she did raise wyatt all by herself, and she did a pretty good job. Anyway, you don't really have to deal with her very much.

Bill: No, thank god. In fact, I have something for her to sign to make sure it stays that way.

Katie: What is it?

Bill: Oh, it's just uh...some paperwork I should have given her when I first met wyatt. I have financial obligations to my son, but not quinn, and i just want to make that clear.

Katie: Okay, I'm not sure mrs. Eric forrester is gonna care about that, but you do whatever you need to do. I saw her at the office earlier. You probably can find her there. You know, the, uh, forrester dress farm.

Bill: [ Chuckles ] Alright, uh...well, thank you, katie. I think I'm gonna head over there right now.

Katie: Yeah, I'm gonna swing by justin's office and see if will is bored yet. Are you still picking him up on saturday?

Bill: Oh, yeah, of course. You kidding me? I wouldn't miss it. Hey, um... instead of, uh, us waiting for will to create another chance meeting between us, what do you say we arrange our own? Would you like to have dinner with me?

Katie: Um, yeah, sure. I-I'd like that.

Bill: Good. Yeah, I'll talk to will about it on saturday. I'll have him arrange our meals.

Katie: [ Laughs ] Perfect.

Quinn: If you think this was some kind of a fairy tale romance, you got another thing coming. There's a reason why I kept wyatt from knowing his father.

Shauna: I believe you.

Quinn: Look, as much as i dislike bill -- and believe me, "dislike" is a very polite word to use -- wyatt loves his father. He looks up to him. So it's not about my anger or frustration anymore. And that's why I'm saying that i don't know what your feelings are towards flo's father, but maybe it's time she gets to know him.

Shauna: No. No, it's not happening. Flo can never learn the truth. Never.

Wyatt: So your mom never gave you any info on him at all?

Flo: Nope. And I learned to stop asking. You heard my conversation with her the other day. She's not interested.

Wyatt: I know, but you are. Right? There is...half of who you are that you don't even know about. And I understand her being tight-lipped about it when you were a kid -- whether it was to protect her or you or whatever. But...flo, you're an adult now. You have every right to know.

Flo: Even if it's painful for her?

Wyatt: It was years ago!

Flo: It doesn't matter. If -- if it were -- if there was abuse or if he mistreated her --

Wyatt: Okay, if you get a sense of that, you can always back off. She doesn't even have to know about it if we -- if we get a match with this test.

Flo: What if he's in jail? Maybe that's why she's been keeping him from me. Maybe he's a criminal.

Wyatt: Are we on the serial killer theory again?

Flo: He could be.

Wyatt: Or maybe he could just be a great guy living a quiet, crime-free life in mayberry wondering about the family he never had. Maybe he would be thrilled if he met his beautiful daughter.

Quinn: Hey. I overstepped. I apologize.

Shauna: No, I know your heart's in the right place. It's just...the thought of opening that door again is just, you know --

Quinn: I understand.

Shauna: Um, you know what? Will you excuse me? I'm gonna go freshen up from my trip.

Quinn: Yeah. Of course.

Shauna: Thanks.

[ Sighs ]

Pam: Are -- are you okay? Ms. Fulton, wasn't it?

Shauna: Yeah. No, no, no. I'm fine.

Pam: Okay. Uh... lemon bar?

Shauna: Uh, oh, no thank you. Uh, could you just tell me where the restroom is?

Pam: Oh, yeah. It's -- it's right around the corner, to the left.

Shauna: Okay.

Pam: Through the hall.

Shauna: Thank you.

Pam: Yep.

Bill: Pam. Hi!

Pam: Hello.

Bill: [ Chuckling ] Lemon bars.

Pam: Oh, oh, oh. Say "pretty please."

Bill: Pretty. Please.

Pam: You can have them all.

Bill: Oh, thank you. Hey, does quinn happen to be in there?

Pam: Um...just let me check.

Bill: No, no, no. I'm sure it's fine. Oh! Oh! That charlie, he's a lucky man. Hi, quinn.

Quinn: Oh. Speak of the devil.

Bill: You were talking about me to yourself just now?

Quinn: No, I -- [ Sighs ] Why are you here?

Bill: Ah, well, you know, I've been doing a little estate planning. And I have a waiver for you to sign.

Quinn: Seriously?

Bill: Oh, it's to protect wyatt.

Quinn: I don't have any rights to your estate.

Bill: Exactly. That's why I drew it up. You see, when one dies, people get confused. They get, um...selfish.

Quinn: Why don't you just leave the papers, and I will look at them later?

Bill: I'd love for you to sign it right now.

Quinn: Why? Are you at death's door?

Bill: Well, you never know.

Quinn: Oh, come on, bill. I-I have a friend here from las vegas. I haven't seen her in years, and I want to spend as much time with her as possible. L-look, here's what I'll give you. If you happen to die within the next couple of hours, i pinky-swear promise not to go after wyatt's share of your estate. Come on. Pinky swear.

Shauna: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you were in a meeting. I can come back.

Quinn: No, no, no. I'm not in a meeting. I was just explaining how I want to spend as much time with you. So come on in. You might as well meet him anyway.

Shauna: Who?

Quinn: Oh, wyatt's father. Bill spencer, meet shauna fulton.

Bill: Pleased to meet you. Now, quinn, if you could just sign --

Shauna: Meet me? You don't remember, do you?

Bill: Remember?

Shauna: It's me. Shauna. Shauna fulton.

Wyatt: [ Clears throat ] Anything?

Flo: No. Let me check my junk folder just in case.

Wyatt: Yeah.

Flo: Wow. Wow. How did I get on all of these lists?

Wyatt: Oh, I hate that.

Flo: There are a lot of e-mails, but...nothing I'm looking for.

Wyatt: Yeah.

Flo: May-- maybe...maybe they lost my test. Or -- or maybe I wrote my e-mail address wrong. I've done it before.

Wyatt: Okay, we ordered rush results. They'll be here soon.

Flo: I know. The waiting is just brutal.

Wyatt: Okay, well then, uh... go on the website. See if there's any new info.

Flo: Oh, oh. Look, look, look.

Wyatt: Hm? What? What?

Flo: Oh, no. It just says it's processing. Ugh. God, this is -- I need to stop obsessing about this. Checking my phone every 10 minutes is not helping at all. I'm just...

[ Sighs ] This is driving me crazy.

Wyatt: I know. You just gotta stop stressing. Alright? I'm here. I-I got your back.

Flo: I know. I know. Thank you.

Wyatt: Hm.

Flo: It is really sweet of you to help me with all of this.

Wyatt: [ Clears throat ]

Flo: Don't -- don't worry. I-I know, I know, I know.

Wyatt: [ Chuckles ]

Flo: Wasn't supposed to be. I just, um...

Wyatt: Um...

Flo: I just -- I guess... I don't know. You helping me and being here with me, especially right now, when I'm going through so much, it's just, um -- it's just bringing up a lot of old feelings. Good memories.

Wyatt: Right.

Flo: I loved you once. I guess I always will.

Bill: You don't have friends. How is she your friend?

Quinn: She's from vegas. Wha-- what's going on?

Shauna: You remember vegas, don't you? Used to go there a lot, or so you said. Not that I ever heard from you again.

Bill: What did you say your name was again?

Shauna: Shauna. Shauna fulton.

Bill: ShaunA...

Shauna: [ Chuckles ] You know what? I guess I'm not surprised that you don't remember because you didn't really ask questions about me. But I sure heard a lot about you -- your private jet, your expense account. And god, did you love flashing those hundred bills around.

Quinn: What is going on around here?

Bill: That's what I'd like to know.

Shauna: "I'll take you to any show. You pick." And I said, "no, I'm easygoing. Go wherever." You laughed and said I was just your type. For a night, I guess.

Bill: Now, hold on a sec, okay? I didn't really go to shows in vegas. I-I would tend to just head straight for the blackjack table.

Shauna: Oh, we did that, too. And, boy, did you win big. And when we cashed out, the pit boss was watching us like a hawk when we made our way to the elevator.

Bill: Magic show. Sleight of hand.

Shauna: Sure was. And, boy, did I fall for it.

Bill: Alright, come on. I mean, it was one night. I mean, as I recall, it was -- it was a great night. But -- but one night a long time ago.

Shauna: Yep. One night. It's all it takes.

Bill: All what takes? W-w-what are you getting at?

Shauna: Oh, I have a beautiful daughter. Yep. Actually, she's about wyatt's age. Friends with your son. Really close. Grew up together.

Bill: Your daughter and my son?

Quinn: They were high school sweethearts.

Shauna: Yeah. Had I known, I mean, I would have... you know, flo used to ask me about her dad all the time, and I just chose to never say anything about her father. But...now I'm afraid.

Quinn: W-w-w-wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What are you saying? You're saying wyatt and flo could be...?

Shauna: Brother and sister. That is exactly what I am saying.
