Episode # 7412 ~ Katie attempts to play matchmaker for Ridge, but she has an ulterior motive in mind; Quinn devises a scheme to deter Liam from his pursuit of Steffy.

Bill: We're not waiting.

Brooke: You only just signed divorce papers. We shouldn't be rushing into this.

Bill: Ending a marriage that was dead a long time ago. And -- and haven't I been the poster boy for -- for patience, I mean, counting the days until this moment? Well, no more. We have nothing to hide, no one to protect, no fears. Our life together starts now.

Ridge: I think letting nature take its course, as you said, is the only thing you can do when it comes to Brooke.

Katie: Oh, I don't know. I think three little words from you might have an impact.

Ridge: Katie. What are you saying?

Katie: I know you want Bill's shares of Forrester, but at what cost? Are you really willing to let Brooke marry Bill?

Ivy: Do you mean that? Do you really think I could be useful to you?

Quinn: A girl of your talents? I could definitely use you.

Ivy: Oh, thank you. Thank you so much, Quinn.

Quinn: Oh. Oh, well, wait, wait, wait. Don't -- don't get ahead of yourself, okay? I still need to talk to your uncle.

Ivy: Oh, okay.

Quinn: But I can't see him having any problem with you rejoining the team and helping me out.

Ivy: Please tell him I'll work hard for you. I will. I just -- I want to -- I want to dive right in, anything you need.

Quinn: Well, that's exactly what I'm going to expect.

Liam: Just, uh, protect yourself from Quinn.

Steffy: I have. That's what this is all about -- living here, away from my husband.

[Knock on door]

Liam: Just so you know, distancing yourself from her means from Wyatt, too.

Wyatt: Hey. You in the mood for some company? Uh, better company?

Ivy: Thank you so much. Are you sure it's not a bother?

Quinn: [Chuckles] [Australian accent] A bother? [Chuckles] [Normal voice] Come on. Why do you have to be so formal?

Ivy: Am I?

Quinn: Maybe it's -- maybe it's just the accent.

Ivy: Uh, well, is -- is that a problem?

Quinn: Well, no. It's just -- I don't know. Maybe you can, you know, loosen up a little bit, not be so old fashioned.

Ivy: Old fashioned?

Quinn: Yeah, I think the accent just adds to it.

Ivy: Well, I mean, I could argue that you have an accent because you have an American accent.

Quinn: Yeah, 'cause I live, you know, in America, in los Angeles, which is where you want to be, where your father is from. Maybe you need to embrace more of your inner California girl and -- and let go of that, you know, "G'day, mate" stuff. You know what I mean?

Ivy: Um, no.

Quinn: Make yourself more accessible.

Ivy: Sorry. Wh-what does my accent have to do with being accessible?

Quinn: It's -- it's -- it's the whole thing, right? It's the whole package. It's -- it's -- it's the accent. It's -- it's the clothes. You -- you realize you're wearing one big doily, right? And it's the overwhelming politeness.

Ivy: Quinn, this is just -- is who I am.

Quinn: Okay. Do you want to work with me or not?

Ivy: Yes. Yes. I do. I'll -- I'll do anything.

Quinn: Okay. Then prove it. Let's go.

Ivy: Uh, wait. Where are -- where are we going?

Quinn: We are going downstairs for a much needed makeover. Come on.

Steffy: Come on in. Join the party.

Wyatt: What did I say to you?

Liam: What?

Wyatt: The other day, I asked you what?

Liam: Oh, Wyatt, I'm still allowed to talk to Steffy.

Steffy: Can we just not go here, Wyatt?

Wyatt: I asked you to give me a little space. That's all. Like, for once, just once in my life, can I just walk in and not find you in my wife's face?

Liam: [Sighs]

Ridge: If Brooke decides to marry Bill, there's really nothing I can do about it.

Katie: Oh, if anyone could stop her, it would be you.

Ridge: Well, that's quite an assumption.

Katie: No, it's based on years of research. Men just cannot get over my sister -- ever. Every single one of you would just pick up right where you left off if you could. And since you're single, you could.

Bill: This is the day we've the freedom to be together openly, no guilt. So whatever apprehension you're having about Katie --

Brooke: Won't it be too painful for her to see us together? What she's feared for so long...

Bill: No, not what she feared. It's what she knew. It's supposedly the reason that she was drinking, right? The reason that she was miserable. Because instinctively, she knew that I was with the wrong sister. Well, not anymore. Today we move forward. The dreams that we started talking about in aspen, the marriage that should have happened in Abu Dhabi. It's all happening now.

Steffy: Can we just take a breath for a second? Let's not turn this into a big deal.

Wyatt: You know what? You are right. I apologize. It just took me by surprise seeing him, which is ridiculous. I should have expected it 'cause he follows you around like a lost little puppy all the time.

Liam: Oh, come on! That's enough. You guys are separated. I have every right to have a conversation --

Wyatt: Who said we were separated?

Liam: She moved out, Wyatt! She's living with her brother!

Wyatt: Not because there's anything wrong with our marriage! She moved out because of my mother, which is something that we can overcome, and we will, so back off! Look, I'm not letting you or my mother come between us.

Quinn: [Sighs] Thank you for pulling these on such short notice. All right. Wonderful. Hey! You guys! You got my message! Okay, so, Cora, Chris, would you mind just setting up right now, and then I'll bring ivy over to you. I just want to go through a few of these outfits with her first. Okay? Right there.

Ivy: Can you -- can you please tell me what is going on here?

Quinn: You are getting a much-needed upgrade. Look, if you're coming back to Forrester and you're coming back to L.A., then your look needs to reflect the new and improved you.

Ivy: I think I'm -- I'm just struggling to understand what my look has to do with my design ability.

Quinn: Okay, I'm gonna tell you something.

Ivy: Mm-hmm.

Quinn: Sometimes a piece of jewelry doesn't sell no matter how good it is. The client has something else in mind, so he passes on it and he never knows what he's really missing. So you have to learn how to sell not only the jewelry, but yourself. And then he will find it -- and you -- irresistible.

Ridge: Brooke and I had many, many chances, and it never worked out.

Katie: Well, maybe it wasn't supposed to work out until now. Listen, I'm not saying pursue her if you don't want to. But if you want to, then you might want to do it now before she --

Ridge: Before she makes the biggest mistake of her life.

Katie: Before she complicates things. Bill wants to marry her. He's made that clear. But if you want to go after her, then you might want to do it before they exchange vows. I can see your attachment to her. You have a child together, a son. Maybe she'll be happy with Bill. Maybe they'll get married and live happily ever after. Or maybe destiny will intervene and change her mind.

Brooke: [Sighs] I want to believe you, that Katie can just accept this.

Bill: Okay. There'll be a period of adjustment, which is normal. It's to be expected.

Brooke: And then there's will to think about.

Bill: Will is gonna be fine. He's surrounded by love. Look, Brooke, the hard part is over. We've acknowledged our feelings. We have faced the truth. I mean, the rest is easy. Now it's just a matter of making it official. Starting our life together. That's what we've wanted, and it's happening. We're happening, and we're not gonna wait any longer. I want the world to know that you're mine.

Liam: Wyatt -- [Sighs] I feel for you, but how can you say that you're not gonna let Quinn come between you with a straight face? You are -- you are blind when it comes to your mother.

Wyatt: Uh, no. No, I know my mother better than anyone, and I know why Steffy's moved out. Things need to change when --

Liam: Actually, Wyatt, I know your mother better than anyone, and things don't change. You can make these promises to Steffy. You can say you're gonna get Quinn to stay away, but she will find a way back in that no sane person could possibly anticipate, and that is what's so scary about Quinn -- the unpredictability! Look at where we're at right now. Look at where we're at. You got Quinn moved in with Eric, she's back at Forrester. It is -- it's absurd! So who knows what's she's gonna do next?

Quinn: Try to accentuate her lips. Ivy's got great lips. And I want her to look like she's as comfortable in the board room as she is on a motorcycle.

Ivy: Oh, well, no. No, I-I don't ride motorcycles.

Quinn: No, no, no. Don't worry. You're not riding a motorcycle. It's just -- we're just trying out a look.

Ivy: Why would we even have to do my hair? 'Cause I'd just be wearing a helmet.

Quinn: No, no, no, no, no. Ivy, please stop being so boring and literal, okay? No, we're just -- we've having fun, okay?

Ivy: [Chuckles] [Sighs] Sorry. Look, I'm sorry. I'm not -- I'm not trying to sound like a whinger. I'm just --

Quinn: What's a whinger?

Ivy: Do you -- oh, do you not say that? A whinger?

Quinn: No. You know what? No, I think -- here's the problem. It's not just the accent. It's your strange Aussie phrasing, as well. Listen to me. You are Eric's Forrester's niece, not his crocodile hunter. Okay? Now, let's do this.

Katie: Think about what I said. You're gonna have to make a decision. I know you want Bill's shares, and Brooke can get them for you if she marries him. But is it worth it? You'll always be the great love of Brooke's life. Everyone knows that. The question is -- will the two of you accept it?

Brooke: It never seemed possible, the idea of us. Of ever betraying my sister.

Bill: But that's the beauty of it, Brooke. We're not. We waited. We did it the right way for everyone. And now it's time to take the next step.

Brooke: What are you doing?

Bill: You know exactly what I'm doing.

Brooke: No. I don't need a ring.

Bill: The hell you don't!

Brooke: It's too soon!

Bill: It's years too late. Besides, this is more than a ring. It's your entry to my family.

Brooke: [Sighs]

Bill: I wear this sword. My sons wear it. It's a symbol of strength and power. It's a reminder of what it means to be a Spencer. And since you're the strongest woman I know, it only seems right.

Brooke: Did you get me a sword? [Gasps]

Bill: And I hope you never take it off.

Liam: You would see it, too,

Wyatt: Is my mother unpredictable? Yeah. Sure. She can be. But translating that to mean that my marriage is over -- I mean, isn't that a little self-serving?

Liam: You would see it, too, if you wanted to. You -- you would see it right now if you just looked into Steffy's eyes.

Wyatt: Is he right?

Steffy: Wyatt. [Sighs] There's no way I can answer that right now. I -- I hate standing here and seeing how hurt you are, especially if I'm the cause, but your mom is a huge concern. It's like she doesn't care how her actions will affect me or anyone, and that worries me. It's like, how far will she go if we let her?

Quinn: Lovely. Just lovely.

Ivy: Yeah, I still don't understand.

Quinn: You're not even trying to lose the accent.

Ivy: Because I don't understand that, either! I mean, this is just -- it's how I speak.

Quinn: Yeah, but everything has to change. You've got a new look and an American accent, and then -- that's when I'm going to go to Eric and tell him that I want you to join the jewelry team!

Ivy: Yeah, but -- God, it's just -- it's so different, and -- I almost look like Steffy.

Quinn: Huh. Yeah. You kinda do.

Ivy: You have something in mind for me, don't you, Quinn? What is it? What are you up to?

Ridge: [Sighs] This will all be over soon. 'Cause I'll have Bill's shares. Right after he marries Brooke.

Bill: Of course it's beautiful. It had to be. You're the one wearing it. No other woman has ever had this kind of effect on me. And there's no other woman I want to share my life with, live my life with. Because that's what different about being with you. We embrace life, whether we're riding in a hot-air balloon in aspen or riding camels in Dubai. We live, we laugh. And now we'll do it together. No regrets, Brooke. Only gratitude and appreciation for a second chance. Brooke...

Brooke: Yes?

Bill: Tell me you agree. That you know this is right. That love will prevail. We will prevail. Will you marry me?

Brooke: [Laughs] Yes. Yes, of course I will marry you!

Bill: Your ring.

Brooke: My sword. My man.

Bill: Finally.

Brooke: [Laughs] [Sighs]
