Episode # 7387 ~ Eric stops Quinn from making a mistake she may regret; Steffy's worst nightmare becomes a reality in Monte Carlo.
Provided By SuzanneSteffy: Hey! How was the summit this morning?
Wyatt: Oh, it was amazing. Everybody's still talking about Eric's speech.
Steffy: Well, it's great you asked him to come along.
Wyatt: I know, right?
Wyatt: [Clears throat] Hey, bro! You're a little overdressed for the beach, aren't you?
Liam: Hmm. Cute.
Wyatt: You're welcome.
Steffy: How was your interview with Prince Albert?
Liam: Ah, it was great. It was -- it was great. He's gracious, he's informative, and, uh, the guy's got his hands in everything, from global warming, deforestation, marine issues, so he taught me a few things about how I can kind of incorporate that into my foundation.
Steffy: That was really admirable.
Steffy: I heard Eva set up a meeting with Ed Begley, Jr.
Liam: Yeah, and his wife, Rochelle, 'cause they're really big environmentalists, and they're here at the summit, so I reached out -- thought I could pick their brains.
Steffy: Well, good luck with that.
Liam: Yeah, you, too, on your photo shoot.
Wyatt: Uh, speaking of which, we should probably go. The Stella Maris awaits.
Liam: Uh, yeah. Before you do that, did you call home -- check in with your mom, maybe?
Liam: Okay. Do you think you should, just in case she's -- she's --
Wyatt: My mother is not here.
Liam: I-I know, but I distinctly saw somebody who --
Wyatt: She's not an issue, Liam, so can you stop making her one, please? She wouldn't do anything to screw this up. Steffy asked her to stay away from her and her family, and she's doing that.
Quinn: I could stay in your arms all day, Eric Forrester.
Eric: I would like that. But I have to make another appearance at the Spencer summit.
Quinn: You're looking forward to it.
Eric: [Chuckles] Honestly, yeah. It's revitalizing. It's energizing.
Quinn: You're back in the game.
Eric: Yeah. It's more than that, though. It's more than just speaking at the summit or taking back the C.E.O. It's... it's a lot more than that. It's -- it's the magic of Monte Carlo and the beauty of the Mediterranean. This place is magical. It's -- it's -- it's passionate. It's easy to get caught up in it. It's made me a little reckless.
Quinn: Inviting me to stay?
Eric: Your being here is very dangerous, Quinn.
Quinn: A little danger could be exciting.
Eric: We can't do this. You need to go back to L.A.
Wyatt: Okay, perfect. Okay. [Sighs] So, are we all set?
Denis: Ready to go. Hair and makeup are waiting.
Steffy: Oh, great. Actually, I have a lot of extensions and stuff that I want to play around with, so it's gonna be fun.
Wyatt: Perfect. Yeah. Okay. So, what we want to do is we just want to enhance the social-media presence. That's why we're here. So we're using dad's yacht to tie in Spencer, and we just want this to be the crown jewel of the whole campaign, you know? I need you to bring that magique.
Denis: Right -- magique.
Steffy: Yes! Yes! All right! Let's do this!
Wyatt: It's gonna be great.
Steffy: I am so excited.
Quinn: Eric, I just got here.
Eric: I know. But the longer you stay, the greater chance you'll be seen.
Quinn: Not if I stay in your suite.
Eric: I'll book the flight myself. First class. What do you say?
Quinn: [Sighs] That's very generous but completely unnecessary.
Eric: I wish it weren't.
Quinn: Come on. We'll be careful.
Eric: I'll be home soon.
Quinn: You want me to leave?
Eric: I don't want you to leave. I don't want you to jeopardize your relationship with your son. I know how important he is to you. And my granddaughter -- if she found out you were here in Monte Carlo, my god.
Quinn: But I didn't come here to bother them. I came here to see you.
Eric: I know. I'm glad you did. You kept me from doing something that I might have regretted.
Eric: Well, now I want to do the same for you. I don't want to cause trouble for Wyatt and Steffy.
Liam: Ed, hey!
Liam: Come on in. Come on in. It's so nice to see you. Thank you for coming.
Ed: My pleasure. Remember my wife, Rochelle?
Liam: Of course, yeah. So, how are you guys enjoying the summit so far?
Rachelle: Oh, it's been fabulous, especially with that last-minute add with Eric Forrester.
Liam: Yeah. Yeah.
Ed: I understand you're looking for information for a foundation you're starting.
Liam: Yeah. So, I just feel like, with the resources and the means that I'm fortunate enough to have as a Spencer, I should be doing something with it. I should be making a difference. I should be giving back. And one thing that I'm really interested in is the environment.
Ed: Well, that's where we come in.
Liam: Right. Well, I know, yeah, 'cause you're such an advocate, you're such an environmentalist, and I feel like if there's anything you could do to kind of help me calibrate my focus with respect to this foundation I'm starting, I would be so appreciative.
Ed: Happy to help.
Liam: Great. Great. Please, have a seat. Let's get started. So, a few questions for you, if you don't mind. Okay. Well, as you know, because you're here at the summit, Spencer is a global entity. Where do we start in terms of how can we make the biggest difference?
Ed: You know, a lot of people say, "I can't afford a fancy electric car like you have or solar panels like you have," and I say to them, "I understand. The way I started is exactly what you need to do and should do. I was a broke and struggling actor. In 1970, for the first earth day, I did all the cheap and easy stuff I could afford. You can do that today. Bike riding when weather and fitness permit, public transportation, energy-efficient appliances, turning the thermostat down in the winter, up in the summer, home composting, home gardening, weather stripping -- you know, lots of cheap and easy stuff. It's all very inexpensive. You get a payback right away. You will save money instantly.
Liam: All three of us are from los Angeles. It's no secret that, since the 1970s, we've cut down smog to only, like, what, a fraction of what it was, even though there's, what, four times the amount of cars?
Ed: Four times the cars since 1970, millions more people, and look what we've done.
Liam: What did we do exactly to make that happen?
Ed: Well, what we did was we finally passed and then adhered to something called the clean air act. You know, we had horrible smog in the '50s and '60s, when I grew up. That's why I got involved with the environment.

Quinn: You're right. I can't stay, as much as I want to.
Eric: Wish you could.
Quinn: What's paradise without somebody to share it with?
Eric: A business trip.
Quinn: [Gasps] Do not pretend that this is drudgery. I know this is exciting to you.
Eric: It is. Not as exciting as last night, though. I'm gonna miss you.
Quinn: I'm gonna miss you, too.
Eric: We'll be back in L.A. Soon, and we'll figure out how to fix this whole thing -- you and I -- all right?
Quinn: You know, I know my son wants me to be happy. I have to believe that Steffy wants the same thing for you.
Eric: Well, when we get home, we'll figure this out -- you and I, together, okay?
Quinn: I like that you keep looking for a way to figure it out.
Eric: This is something so wonderful. I don't want to give up on it.
Quinn: I'm not gonna let you.
Quinn: [Chuckles] I had a wonderful time. As short as it was, it was worth the risk.
Eric: Don't take any more chances, all right? Stay out of sight as much as you can.
Quinn: I'm gonna go straight to the airport.
Eric: I wish I could have shown you more of Monte Carlo.
Quinn: Next time.
Eric: All right. Let me finish dressing... and I'll walk you out. I have to get back to the summit anyway. Don't forget your hat. You might need it.
Liam: What clean technology is available now that we're not using or that we're severely neglecting?
Ed: Energy storage is the next big frontier. They're making great strides with batteries. That's the next frontier, but all the other stuff, I would say that it's not unused, it's underused. You know, to get rid of vampire power -- that's the power that you're using all the time that you don't need, and it's not serving any purpose. Unplugging those devices, putting them on power strips, so when you leave the house or go to bed at night, you turn all that stuff off. People aren't utilizing that enough. Energy-efficient lighting, lighting controls, dimmers and what have you, smart lighting controls -- all that kind of stuff is not unused, but it's underused.
Liam: Right. It's there. It's available. It's already there. We can all do it.
Ed: Solar works very well. I know it works 'cause I've been powering my house and charging my car since 1990. I know that wind power works 'cause it's been making homes' worth of power for me since 1985.
Liam: Perfect. Perfect! I got to tell you, this is so usable. I'm gonna be able to apply all of this to my foundation. Thank you so much.
Rachelle: Oh, it's our pleasure. You know, actually, it's just the preservation of the planet that's at stake.
Liam: Yeah, no big deal.
Ed: Good luck getting this off the ground. You have my e-mail if you need to reach me.
Liam: I do, and I'll keep you posted on all our progress.
Steffy: Merci. Merci. That was great!
Wyatt: Oh, it was perfect.
Steffy: I am so, so excited to see the pictures. I am so excited.
Wyatt: Hey, so, how soon can you upload the images?
Denis: I can get right on it.
Steffy: Oh, thanks, Denis. Thank you.
Denis: My pleasure.
Wyatt: Uh, so, you killed it today, my dear.
Steffy: Oh, you have to say that.
Wyatt: Yeah. It's always true, though. Your followers are gonna skyrocket once we upload these things. Oh, and I got some great behind-the-scene footage of the photo shoot.
Wyatt: Yeah. It's gonna be amazing.
Denis: Hey, Steffy. Sorry to interrupt. The light is very good. One more shot, please?
Steffy: Uh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sure.
Wyatt: Uh, my power's real low, so I'm just gonna grab the charger, and I'll see you in a few.
Steffy: Okay. See you.
Denis: Thank you. Thank you.
Wyatt: Yeah. Oh, my god! Is that Steffy Forrester?!
Wyatt: Yep. That's her.
Wyatt: How did your meeting with Ed and Rochelle Begley go?
Liam: Actually, really great. Those two -- they're making an impact, and that's what I want to do.
Wyatt: Nice! Well, it sounds like you got what you wanted out of it. So, Steffy's outside, just finishing up some shots. Maybe you'll want to come down and tell us about it.
Wyatt: Yeah. Oh, and I can show you everything we did on the Stella Maris. Her fans are gonna go nuts! This campaign's just gonna blow up.
Liam: Wyatt, Wyatt, is that really all you're thinking about right now?
Liam: How many hits Steffy's photos are getting?
Wyatt: Oh. You think this is superficial. You're out there talking about saving the world, but you know what? This is business, Liam. Building the Spencer brand -- that is why dad asked us to come here.
Liam: Yeah, but that's not the only reason Steffy agreed to go, is it? She also wanted to get away from your mother.
Wyatt: My mother's not here, Liam. You did not see her. But I'm kind of getting the feeling you wish you had.
Liam: No. No, Wyatt! I don't. Your mom's a lunatic. Quinn is a lunatic. And she should be as far away from Steffy as possible.
Quinn: I hate to leave.
Eric: We both know we have to do it this way.
Eric. Great. You're ready?
Eric: There's been a change of plans. I'd like for you to take the young lady to the airport.
Eric: It's all right. I'll get to the conference on my own. I'll take a cab.
Quinn: No. No, no, no. Please, no. Eric, take the car. I will take a cab. It'll be okay. I promise.
Eric: Give us a moment, will you? Thank you.
Quinn: Thank you. I'm never going to forget our night in Monte Carlo.
Eric: Bon voyage. This was...wonderful. I'll see you in L.A. Okay?
Quinn: [Laughs] Excusez-moi, monsieur.
Man: Yes, Madame?
Quinn: May I please get a taxi to the airport?
Man: Of course, Madame.
Steffy: Excusez-moi. Excuse me. Excuse me. M-- excuse me! Steffy!
[All talking at once]
Steffy: Sorry. I have to go.
Paparazzi: Steffy! Steffy!
Steffy: Excusez-moi! Madame! Madame! Madame!
Quinn: Excusez-moi! Excuse me.
Steffy: Wait! Stop! Wait! Stop!
Steffy: I'm -- I'm -- I'm sorry. I have to go. Wait! Wait!
Wyatt: Okay, you are stirring trouble where there isn't any.
Liam: Wyatt, with your mother, there's always trouble.
Wyatt: She can't do anything here.
Liam: How was she acting before you left town?
Wyatt: Ugh. [Chuckles]
Liam: You're not worried about her behavior at all?
Wyatt: No, I'm not, because I'm too busy enjoying Monte Carlo with my wife, Liam, and I'm focusing on what I came here to do -- what our father asked us to come here to do. So, no, I'm not worried about my mother right now.
Liam: Yeah? You should be.
Wyatt: Why? Because you are?
Liam: Yes, because I am. I can't explain it, but I've got a feeling.
Wyatt: Oh, a feeling?
Liam: Yeah, a feeli-- shut up, all right? Steffy is standing in between Quinn and everything that Quinn wants -- a job at Forrester, her relationship with you, her son, and I know what happens to people who get in Quinn's way. I don't want that happening to Steffy. Sorry.
Wyatt: I don't need you looking out for my wife. That's my job, okay?
Liam: All right.
Wyatt: Steffy and I have already dealt with this. My mother is not gonna be a problem.
Liam: She's -- she's not a problem for you.
Liam: For you. But what about all the trouble she's caused for Steffy and me over the years? Think back. Think back, Wyatt. How many times did you tell her to stop? How many times did you think she was better? It's not gonna happen. Quinn doesn't know how to stop, and I don't want Steffy getting hurt.
Quinn: [Gasps] Aah! Ugh! Wait.
Steffy: Quinn. You and my grandfather?!
