Thomas: [Sighs] I'm sorry. I'm getting a little water and sand on your floors, man.

Liam: I don't care about my floors.

Thomas: You must have noticed that I was rusty surfing, right? Being in Paris for too long, it took it out of me.

Liam: So why'd you call up and suggest it?

Thomas: Well, we were almost brothers-in-law.

Liam: Yeah, but we're not.

Thomas: That's through no fault of your own.

Bill: Good. You're not busy.

[Door closes]

Steffy: Call and make an appointment. But be advised -- I'm not gonna let Pam give you one. You already made your point.

Bill: I don't make appointments for family. Especially appointments about not disgracing family.

[Birds chirping]

Nicole: You sure I didn't overreact?

Vivienne: Treating someone like family does not mean letting them walk all over you. You know, you do not give a woman -- any woman -- a second chance to do what Sasha did to you. You know? Sasha walking around in lingerie with Zende taking pictures? No. No, thank you.

Zende: Don't be sad. Look, I am okay with shoes. I can take pictures of shoes all day.

Sasha: You know, there's actually a wall of shoes in a museum in Chicago. Yeah, it must have been like, I don't know, 20 feet high. Aunt Viv used to take us there when we were kids in the fourth grade. Oh, but, hey, Nicole can tell you all about it now that she's just launched your new shoe photography career.

Zende: Hey, you know what? If I do a good job, maybe they'll graduate me to handbags.

Sasha: Oh, come on, Zende! You were supposed to have the lingerie line. And now... Now you're stuck doing this. I'm -- I just -- I feel terrible.

Nicole: I think that she's sorry for lying the way that she did, but --

Vivienne: Okay. Now, being sorry and being a better person are two different things. No, now, I'm all for giving Sasha the benefit of the doubt. But there is no doubt that Sasha wants your young man for herself.

Nicole: Yeah.

Vivienne: Mm-hmm.

Nicole: But even though I don't trust her, shouldn't I trust Zende?

Vivienne: Remember the -- the little dog that your aunt used to have, the cute, little one that you thought was the best dog in the world? Now, think about it. Would you have trusted him with your hamburger next to him and your back turned?

Zende: I told Ridge and Rick that I'd be willing to do anything, and I am. I'm not gonna say shoes are beneath me.

Sasha: Except for the ones you're wearing. Ha! Got him.

Zende: Look, I haven't even been here that long. I am lucky they even trust me to use a copy machine. I mean, how hard can it be? You know, you just put the paper in and it's supposed to be back. No, they're fine, and when it comes out and it doesn't, and --

Sasha: You good?

Zende: Sorry, I had a bad copy thing happen to me.

Sasha: I could tell, yeah. Look, all that timing mumbo jumbo aside, I have been here half as long as you have and look where I am. I'm modeling for the Intimates line, okay, and I owe all of that to you. The chances you gave me and all the good you did for me, Zende, I just want to be able to do some good for you.

Steffy: Before I listen to your unsolicited advice, let me give you some of my own. Stop playing favorites with your sons.

Bill: No way I can be accused of doing that in this scenario.

Steffy: I'm accusing you. Wyatt used to be the black sheep, and now it's Liam, for the same reason -- because he smells of Quinn to you.

Bill: Absurd.

Steffy: Just leave him alone, okay? Leave all of us alone.

Bill: Not until you stop doing what you're thinking of doing.

Liam: I had a future with your sister. You were part of that, too. I'm grateful to have my memory back, but it's like... it's like having a map of a planet and nothing like the one I keep waking up to every morning. [Sighs] All I can think about is how to get home.

Vivienne: Oh, I better get going. Your father's probably wondering where I am.

Nicole: How are things with you and Dad?

Vivienne: We're working on it. And how are you, my little girl, who's not so little anymore?

Nicole: I just feel bad.

Vivienne: You have to stop that.

Nicole: But isn't telling Zende not to do what he wants to do the surest way to lose him? I mean, it would be a huge opportunity for him to be in charge of creating a look and a brand for an entire Forrester line.

Vivienne: Zende's mother is a Forrester. Believe me, Zende is going to have many more career possibilities that don't involve Sasha. Hmm.

Sasha: Here we have this lovely couple. They're dancing. Oh, oh, oh, no. Look, he's stepping on her foot. Every woman can relate to that.

Zende: [Australian accent] Hey, you suck in those laces, okay? I don't pay you to sit there. Well, listen, I don't -- I don't pay you at all, but get it together, all right?

Sasha: [Laughs] Okay, um, what is next?

Zende: [Normal voice] Let's do those.

Sasha: Okay. Um, how about a little, um, soft shoe? That thing, you know?

Zende: [Chuckles]

Sasha: I think it's kind of sexy.

Zende: Do I look excited?

Sasha: You look cheered up.

Zende: You know what? I remembered something.

Sasha: What's that?

Zende: It's just a job.

Sasha: What? It is not "just a job." Not for you.

Zende: True. It's the family business. But, look, I'm just a worker bee. I don't call shots around here.

Sasha: Yet. Let's get back to work.

Bill: You're not leaving Wyatt. You're not even allowed to think of leaving Wyatt.

Steffy: I sat through your lecture to your sons. I heard it all. What is the point?

Bill: You're the only person with the power and possibly the desire to upend my sons' lives again. People who feel they are victims have no problem rationalizing whatever they need to, to feel less victimized.

Steffy: [Sighs]

Bill: Liam is struggling with that, understandably. But you were not a victim.

Steffy: We all were. Quinn manipulated all of us.

Bill: True. But you fell in love with Wyatt and married him because you wanted to. Now, you may feel some desire to make a retroactive show of regret for falling for Wyatt while Liam was missing, but you made a commitment, and you need to respect that. Don't let Liam come to you. Don't make this harder on him than it already is.

Thomas: You know, I always figured you to be the type that would kick down the drawbridge door to get my sister back.

Liam: Yeah. I could kick in Wyatt's door. Can't even count as high as the number of times I thought about it.

Thomas: Why don't you? I mean, I'm not sure that the sanctity of marriage applies in a situation like this.

Liam: Because I look at my dad, and men of that wealth and stature are usually on their fourth or fifth wife, each one younger than the last, and my dad has Katie. And she's not the easiest person, you know. She's got a great, big, beautiful heart that she wasn't born with. It keeps her health on a roller coaster. And my dad stays put. I mean, he doesn't go, "Oh, man, this should be a whole lot easier. Let me get out of here." He -- He... He stays put, and it makes me think marriage is that big, that worthy of respect. Even a mistaken one, even... a stolen one.

Zende: So, I'm just gonna put you right here. How's everyone doing, huh? Don't all talk at once. Okay, great. [Clears throat]

[Camera shutter clicking]

Nicole: Hmm. I'm real jealous.

Zende: Hey.

Nicole: The way you're looking at those shoes, you never look at my shoes like that.

Zende: Hmm. Okay.

[Camera shutter clicks]

Zende: Work it. There we go.

[Both laugh]

Nicole: Hey. I feel awful.

Zende: Why?

Nicole: You must think that I'm petty after not wanting you to work with Sasha.

Zende: Nicole, I understand.

Nicole: I wish that I didn't have these feelings, that I could trust Sasha, but I... I don't.

Steffy: [Sighs]

Thomas: Hey, man, uh, I should probably get going.

Liam: Yeah.

Thomas: Yeah.

Liam: Um, thanks for coming by and getting me out in the water.

Thomas: Yeah, anytime. Uh, you seemed tense. You still do. I guess I didn't do very much.

Liam: Probably not good for me to be alone in this house with my thoughts.

Thomas: Still, you respect your brother's marriage. That's -- That's big.

Liam: Whatever. I don't know. People get mismarried all the time. It's kind of hard to get the hang of something you're supposed to do one time for an entire lifetime. And yet I look at my dad, and, I don't know, makes me think there is something sacred about those promises, even when you make them to the wrong person for the wrong reasons.

Brooke: Are you insane?

Bill: Nobody's home. I checked. My driver dropped me off.

Brooke: Rick and Maya took the baby out, but they will be back any minute!

Bill: And I'll be gone, just like Zorro. Now drop the robe.

Brooke: No, no, no! Stop! You can't do this. This is risky, it's careless, and it's wrong.

Bill: I don't know about any of that, but this is how it's gonna be.

Brooke: No, no. I am not an option.

Bill: You are a necessity.

Brooke: Go home to your wife.

Bill: This is the only solution.

Brooke: [Sighs]

Bill: I will stay married, but I can only do that if I have you and you have me. We've made your sister's life miserable by trying to -- to stop loving each other and keep our distance.

Brooke: We can't have it both ways.

Bill: That's exactly what we're going to do.

Nicole: I know you're disappointed. I mean, you sacrificed this job for me.

Zende: Hey. All right. You want to talk about sacrifice? Your sister wanted a baby that she couldn't have on her own, so you gave her one. And I said that I would support you and I backed out when things got hard. I took up with who we thought was just your best friend, and when we found out that she was actually your half-sister, you led the crusade to get her officially accepted into the family. Girl, you amaze me. You're like one of those weekend heroes you see on TV. Right? "Girl saves family from burning car," right, or "dog carries lost kitten 12 miles to safety."

Nicole: A dog?

Zende: I love dogs.

[Both chuckle]

Nicole: And I love you.

Zende: I love you, too. Look, we'll have the dog and we'll have the kids, and I'll chase them around the backyard.

Nicole: And I want you to have everything you want -- the dog, the yard, the kids, a name that everybody will know is the world's greatest fashion photographer.

Zende: [Chuckles]

Nicole: And I never want to ask you to give up anything for me. But I did.

Zende: When my mom and dad adopted me, my reading and writing wasn't the best, so they gave me these books. They were fairytales, and I loved them. They reminded me of stories that my biological parents would tell me when I was younger. But even in fairytales, not everybody gets what they want. There is always gonna be a door or a box that can't be opened or a person that can't be let in. And I know this is not a fairytale, but you're my princess, and I would give up much more for you. Come here.

Bill: I love you. I never forgot our past. I know you haven't, either. The way you looked at me then, the way you look at me now, that smile.

Brooke: [Sighs] I can't go through what we did before.

Bill: Do you not see how everything has gotten better since we stopped fighting it? Katie's happier, we're happier.

Brooke: I'm not happy.

Bill: Are you telling me a visit from your stallion doesn't brighten your day? [Neighs]

Brooke: [Laughs]

Bill: There's that giggle. I love seeing your eyes bright, that smile. I need this, Brooke. We need this.

Brooke: It doesn't make it right.

Bill: Brooke, we have... We have tried starving it in the name of virtue, but it won't die. It wants what it wants. It's like being alive. Like breathing. We only thought we had a choice.

[Knock on door]

Steffy: You just missed your father.

Liam: Ha. Here protecting his 12.5%, was he?

Steffy: I think your father would agree that you don't belong here.

Liam: Ah. Protecting the marriage, then.

Steffy: He was full of stern warnings.

Liam: A marriage that should have been ours. Did I mention you can get that removed? I think I said that, right?

Steffy: Liam... Why don't we just try to be true to our word? I mean, we're good people.

Liam: Those vows were said under false pretenses. You know that. I'm trying, Steffy. I am. I... It's taking everything in me, but I'm trying to do what my father said and respect your marriage. And yet [Chuckles] I-I still had to come here and see you. 'Cause you're all I think about. Nothing my dad says is gonna change how I feel about you. I'm always gonna love you. I'm always gonna want you. And that's what I live with now. That's what I'm married to.
