Episode # 7213 ~ Wyatt rips into Thomas for being the center of the storm between him & Ivy; Steffy worries about her standing with Liam after he confronts her about Ivy & Aly.

Steffy: You're mad at me.

Liam: I'm -- I... I'm trying to understand.

Steffy: It was an accident, Liam.

Liam: You just told me that you pushed Ivy into a live electric grid. So, yeah, you kind of are the reason that she's in there. She could have died, Steffy. She still might.

Steffy: Don't say that. Ivy's not gonna die.

Liam: She shouldn't even be in there in the first place.

Steffy: [Crying] I didn't mean to hurt her.

Liam: Why does that sound familiar?

Steffy: Liam, please. You have to believe me. You have to know that I didn't do this.

Liam: I-I don't know what I know anymore.

Thomas: Hey, Ivy. It's, uh... it's Thomas. Well, we're finally alone. [Sighs] I don't like seeing you like this. You're never this still. You see, 'cause you're -- you're this big, beautiful ball of energy, and, uh... you just keep going. And I need you to do that. I need you to keep going until you're all the way out of this... 'cause -- 'cause you and I -- we've got a lot to talk about.

Wyatt: Save your breath. She's done with you.

Nicole: Sorry.

Zende: Nothing to be sorry about. You okay?

Nicole: Yeah. Are we okay?

Zende: Sure.

Nicole: Really?

Zende: Yeah. I just -- I feel bad that you, uh -- you don't feel well.

Nicole: Ugh. Yeah. This nausea's no joke. But it comes with the package, and they say it'll pass. I hate to cancel on you.

Zende: I understand.

Nicole: But you're disappointed.

Zende: Aren't you?

Zende: It's not the end of the road, all right? There'll be other nights, other plans. I mean, we might as well start getting used to it now. There's a physical reality involved. Your body, the baby -- it's in charge now.

Nicole: We knew it would be like that, though.

Zende: Not really. I mean, we thought we did.

Maya: Hi!

Nicole: Uh, how was your meeting?

Maya: Oh, productive. Any Ivy updates? And how are you feeling?

Nicole: Oh, a little queasy still.

Zende: I'm gonna go.

Nicole: Where are you headed?

Zende: Sky lounge. I think I'm gonna hit the bag a couple of times.

Nicole: Sounds good.

Zende: Okay.

Maya: Everything okay?

Nicole: Hope so.

Wyatt: Why are you even here? Ivy told you to get lost.

Thomas: That was before she almost died. Ivy is a friend... and a colleague. I'm gonna be here until she gets better.

Wyatt: If she wakes up and she wants you out of here?

Thomas: I'm gone.

Liam: Every time I try to wrap my brain around this, I'm back to not believing what I'm hearing. I mean, how could you let this happen, Steffy?

Steffy: I didn't let this happen. It was an accident. Ivy got in my face, okay? She -- she grabbed me, and then she took my phone and she -- she threw it, okay? Yes, I pushed her, but I wasn't thinking.

Liam: All right. Okay. But you better hope and pray that Ivy pulls through this, 'cause if she doesn't...

Steffy: Okay. She's gonna pull through. She's gonna pull through, all right. She's a fighter. She's gonna pull through.

Dr. Jones: I've got an update on ivy's condition.

Liam: Okay.

Wyatt: Doc.

Thomas: Uh, do you have any news?

Dr. Jones: I do. I'm happy to say it's positive. Ivy's latest results show more promise. In fact, she's starting to come around. Are you in any pain? Do you remember your name?

Ivy: It's -- it's...Ivy. Ivy Forrester.

Dr. Jones: Good.

Ivy: Am I okay?

Wyatt: You're doing great, babe.

Dr. Jones: I'm Dr. Jones. You survived quite a big electrical shock. Quite a trooper. We'll keep you comfortable now, and once you're fully conscious, we'll want to run some tests and exams, okay? Wyatt's right. So far, so good. She'll be groggy for the next day or so. Sleep's the best thing for her, so don't try to keep her awake.

Wyatt: Thanks.

Dr. Jones: I'll check back in a bit.

Wyatt: Hi. You can't do that. We talked about this. Tripping into malfunctioning electrical panels -- you can't do that anymore, okay? I-I need you here, okay?

Liam: How are you...feeling?

Ivy: Tired.

Thomas: I'm glad you're pulling through. You had me scared for a sec.

Steffy: Ivy, I cannot express how sorry I am. You getting hurt is the last thing I ever wanted.

Carter: Dude, relax. Control those movements.

Zende: Right. Right.

Carter: I have the feeling you're burning off more than just calories.

Zende: Nicole canceled our plans tonight.

Carter: Good reason?

Zende: Not feeling well.

Carter: The pregnancy.

Zende: That's what it's all about, right?

Maya: I felt tension between you and Zende.

Nicole: He was a little bummed. I bailed on him tonight. But...after all this, I'm not really feeling so romantic. I just want to be still.

Maya: Did he give you a hard time?

Nicole: No. He wouldn't. He understands. He may not like it, but he gets it.

Maya: But the intrusion of a pregnancy on a daily basis is a reality check.

Nicole: It's...an adjustment for all of us. I won't be pregnant forever, and it'll be back to normal before we know it. All Zende and I have to do is hang in there.

Wyatt: Good. Good.

Dr. Jones: [Speaks indistinctly]

Wyatt: Nice.

Dr. Jones: Okay?

Wyatt: All right. Yeah. Thank you so much.

Wyatt: [Clears throat] So, uh... Steffy and Liam went home.

Thomas: I'm about to do the same.

Wyatt: Yeah. I'm gonna ask you something. Steffy and I are friends. Um, I've developed a pretty good instinct about her.

Thomas: You want a medal for that?

Wyatt: No. I heard something in her tone. She seemed distressed, and it seemed to have to do with Ivy. Now, you wouldn't happen to know what that would be about, would you?

Thomas: Probably gonna have to ask Steffy about that.

Wyatt: No, no, no. No, no. I'm asking you because you look like you know more than you're saying. What happened between Steffy and Ivy that put my girlfriend in a hospital bed?

Steffy: This is the day from hell.

Liam: Yeah. It sure isn't good.

Steffy: It was terrifying when they weren't sure if she was gonna make it or not. I'm just relieved she's gonna be okay.

Liam: Yeah. Well... she's on the road to recovery now, thank God.

Steffy: I'm just exhausted.

Liam: Yeah. Well, I hope you're not trying to head me off. I didn't want to bring it up in the car, but now we're home, and there's nothing to distract us, nobody to overhear us, so... I'm sorry, but I need you to explain it to me. What got into you? I mean, why would you push Ivy into an electric panel that you knew was hot?

Zende: Look, don't get me wrong. I'm in full support of Nicole giving Rick and Maya this baby. It's an amazing thing that she's doing. I got mad respect for it. I'm proud of her, too. The kind of person Nicole is is a lot better than me.

Carter: Why do you say that?

Zende: Because she just canceled our plans, and I'm up here, all in my feelings. I mean, that's not generous. It's actually the opposite. It's selfish, man.

Carter: You're in the room, too, Zende. This baby isn't just changing Rick and Maya's lives. It's affecting yours, too.

Zende: Shouldn't I be able to rise above it?

Carter: But not feel what you feel? Okay. When you pull that off, you let me know the secret.

Zende: I don't know, man. You know, me and Nicole -- we're just starting out. We're friends who became something more. And I was so excited to go to the next level with this amazing girl. Endless possibilities between us, too. And now it's -- you know, now it's not just about canceled plans.

Carter: I hear you. Nicole feeling sick enough to bail was the first wake-up call. That baby inside of her is dictating the terms, and it's not yours.

Maya: I'm really sorry you had to cancel your plans.

Nicole: Don't be. Like Zende said, this pregnancy comes with physical realities, and we know that. Zende and I will deal with it.

Maya: I was just hoping the surrogacy would be a breeze for you.

[Both laugh]

Nicole: I don't think miracles get to be that easy. [Laughs]

Maya: Aww.

Nicole: And that's what this is -- a Forrester-Avant baby, coming to life inside of me.

Wyatt: You do know, don't you?

Thomas: I have no idea what you're getting at.

Wyatt: Don't be coy. It's not a good look on you.

Thomas: Okay. How 'bout this? I have nothing for you.

Wyatt: Ohh! You know, I don't accept that. My girlfriend ended up in a hospital bed, fighting for her life. Now, I need to know what happened, and you have the answers. Why did she end up falling into an electrical panel? And why did Steffy feel guilty about it? We're not leaving here till you tell me.

Liam: I know it's been a rough day. I just -- I really want to get to the bottom of this, Steffy.

Steffy: You have every right to question me. I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I didn't mean to hurt Ivy.

Liam: Like kind of like how you didn't mean to hurt Aly?

Zende: I'm not gonna act like this pregnancy doesn't come with issues.

Carter: Understate much?

Zende: Fine. Big issues. Look, as much as it inconveniences me, when I get out of my head and think about what she's actually doing -- you know, the sacrifices that she's making -- I'm in awe. It makes me love her even more.

Nicole: When we first started talking about surrogacy, I knew that I wanted to do it. I mean, the chance to give back to you and Rick after all that you've done for me? But I didn't know -- I couldn't know -- how it would feel to actually have your baby growing inside of me.

Maya: [Chuckles]

Nicole: It's the most profound thing that I have ever experienced.

Maya: Me, too.

[Both chuckle]

Nicole: And we're going through it together.

Maya: It's a bond like nothing I have ever experienced before.

Maya: But I don't want it to mean that you lose what matters most.

Wyatt: I know you don't want to incriminate anyone, and I get that, but I could probably put together the pieces myself. Let's see. Steffy and Ivy were moving forward. You interfered, thinking that my girlfriend was fair game, right?

Thomas: I don't see a ring on her finger, no.

Wyatt: It doesn't matter. It's a little thing called "respect." It must be a foreign concept for you. Anyway... you insinuated yourself. You went after my girlfriend, you made out with her, and you told Steffy about it. Now, why, Thomas, if you knew it was just gonna set her off?

Thomas: You know, you -- you claim to know my sister so well.

Wyatt: Mm-hmm.

Thomas: Then you must know what she's like when she's on a mission to gather information. She's like you.

Wyatt: It's starting to make sense now. You gave Steffy that knowledge, knowing that it would make its way back to me, hoping that it would break up Ivy and me so that you could come in and sweep up the pieces. Am I right? But what you didn't bank on... is Steffy and Ivy getting into a heated confrontation, since Ivy ended up almost dead.

Thomas: Well, it sounds like you have it all figured out, don't you?

Wyatt: Everything except for how this accident came to be. Did Steffy have something to do with it? Damn it, Thomas! Tell me.

Steffy: Did you just throw Aly in my face?

Liam: I know you didn't deliberately kill her...

Steffy: Then what are you implying?

Liam: ...Just like you didn't deliberately hurt Ivy, but, Steffy, it doesn't change the fact that both of those tragedies happened.

Steffy: Do I have to say this again? Aly tried to kill me, and I defended myself.

Liam: Yeah. Did Ivy try to kill you? I asked you not to get involved, to let Ivy and Wyatt work out their problems on their own, but you didn't listen to me, did you? You never listen to me.

Steffy: I know! I'm sorry! I should have!

Liam: I know you're sorry, but you couldn't help yourself, right? Because that's who you are. Ironically enough, that's one of the things I love most about you. You're a woman of action. But actions have consequences, and sometimes they're serious and sometimes people get hurt, and you always go too far. It flies in the face of everything that defines me.

Steffy: What are talking about?

Liam: I love you forever. That's not gonna change. But --

Steffy: No. No "buts."

Liam: No, just -- you have to hear me out, okay? These accidents that keep happening when you're around -- they concern me, not just because of the immediate consequences but because of what it says about -- about our future together.

Steffy: I don't know what you mean, Liam. I really don't.

Liam: I'll tell you what I mean. I don't like chaos. I don't like violence. I want tranquility. I want a clear line between right and wrong in my life!

Steffy: I know you're upset! I know you're upset about Ivy! I am, too! But I didn't plan this! I didn't -- I didn't want this!

Liam: I believe that.

Steffy: So, then stop letting this affect us! We're gonna get married. We're in love with each other. We are planning our future. Aly and Ivy have nothing to do with us!

Liam: Except they do. It's about the fundamental differences between you and me.

Steffy: No. No. No. I'm not letting this happen. Are you trying to end things with me? Is that what's happening right now? What, are you gonna -- you're gonna call of four engagement? 'Cause I'm not taking off this ring. I'm not. [Crying]
