Episode # 7205 ~ Several families gather together for a day of gratitude & forgiveness; Eric continues the tradition of putting conflict aside & saying something kind to the person on the right.

Provided By Suzanne

Eric: Happy Thanksgiving, my love.

Brooke: Table all set, name cards placed as we discussed.

Eric: Good. Hope would be so proud.

Brooke: Yeah, she would.

Pam: That's it! Out, out! Everybody, out!

Rick: Pam! All right, Pam! It's just turkey!

Maya: [Laughs]

Charlie: You heard what Pam said! She means out!

Thomas: Sorry, Charlie.

Charlie: Come on. You can tell she's a little stressed today.

Eric: Charlie, Charlie, tell Pam it smells so good, I've gained 10 pounds just taking it in.

Pam: Charlie!

Charlie: Coming, my little cornucopia of confections.

[Laughter]

Caroline: Happy Thanksgiving!

Rick: Happy Thanksgiving! Come on in. Does the food smell good?

Steffy: Hey! Ohh!

Thomas: Come on. Come on.

[Applause]

Steffy: [Laughs]

Ridge: Mom would love this.

Eric: Yeah, she would have. What about all this? You sure you're really ready to jump back into fatherhood?

Ridge: Absolutely.

Eric: Okay.

Charlie: Oh, my God. You should see the charcoal convection cooker that Henry posted! I want one of these!

Pam: Charlie, isn't it time to baste again, honey?

Charlie: Uh, darling, not according to my sophisticated timing system right here. Look at that. Huh, huh, huh? Look.

Pam: Honey, I love you, but if we're gonna pull this off, baste...the...turkey.

Charlie: Yes, dear.

Thomas: You ready? Ready?

Zende: Yeah.

Thomas: Tell me you're ready. Oh!

Zende: Come on.

[Shatter]

Thomas: Ooh!

Ridge: Really?!

Bill: Who had the butter fingers? You? You? Who was it?

Zende: We're doing a pick-up game this year.

Bill: Oh, how about Spencers vs. Forresters?

Ridge: Sure.

Thomas: Yeah.

Bill: Let's see if he's got some hands. All right, I'm gonna give you a go ball.

Zende: All right. Let's go.

Bill: Go! Break, break.

Thomas: Whoo!

Bill: You got some hands! You got some hands!

Wyatt: So, did you guys set a date yet?

Steffy: Uh...

Ivy: Whoa. Nice ring.

Steffy: Yes, I know.

Liam: [Chuckles] Thank you.

Quinn: Hi!

Wyatt: Oh, hi. Hi. I didn't even see you guys come in.

Quinn: Well, I just dropped off my special yams in the kitchen, and I put extra marshmallows on it just the way you like it. Taste. Come on. [Mimics airplane]

Wyatt: No, I'll have some at the table. Can I have some at --

Quinn: Come on. Mmm!

Maya: Mom?

Vivienne: Hey.

Maya: Oh, dad.

Vivienne: Hi!

Maya: I'm really glad you're here.

Julius: Thanksgiving with our children.

Nicole: Wait a minute. Is that...?

Vivienne: Aunt Shirl's twice-baked potatoes!

Nicole: Well, you know that's my favorite.

Vivienne: I know, darling. Now that you're eating for two.

Zende: My folks say hi.

Eric: Thank you. Everyone, Zende's parents send their love. We'll miss them. But, uh, I think we should focus on those of us who are here. The Forresters, the Spencers, the Avants. Let's, uh, let's concentrate on this wonderful day when we get to give thanks. What do you say? Happy Thanksgiving!

All: Happy Thanksgiving!

[Cheering]

[Glasses clinking]

Charlie: Okay, Pammy, I got the, uh, I got the parmesan and the extra chicken stock, so we're good.

Pam: Thank you.

Brooke: Well, looks like you have everything under control here.

Katie: Yeah, we're gonna make sure that everyone has drinks. Keep up the good work.

Vivienne: [Laughs]

Pam: Be honest. Were they any help at all?

Vivienne: Mmm... [Laughs] Come on. We got miles to go before we eat.

Julius: So, the word from the kitchen is that, uh, Pam and your mother are getting on pretty good.

Maya: Ah, good.

Rick: We won. You guys just ran out of time.

Wyatt: What?! The ball was already snapped! Liam killed it with the bubble snap!

Thomas: No, Pam was on the field just handing out hors d'oeuvres, so that's why!

Wyatt: Oh, yeah.

Katie: I know the Spencers won, but I'll ask anyway. How was the game?

Bill: Well, did you have to ask? We kicked their butts.

Thomas: We didn't even break a sweat!

Bill: You can't even spell football, let alone catch one.

Katie: [Laughs]

Quinn: Do you want another?

Ivy: Uh, yes, please.

Quinn: I'll get it for you.

Thomas: Hey.

Ivy: Hey.

Thomas: You look gorgeous.

Ivy: Oh, thanks.

Thomas: And that dress looks gorgeous on you. Of course, again, you make anything look gorgeous.

Ivy: Oh, okay. Okay, Thomas. [Chuckles]

Thomas: What?

Eric: Uh, ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to ask you to join me at this Forrester family feast. Come on. Let's eat. Come on.

Steffy: Yes!

Caroline: I want to get a photo really quick.

Ridge: Okay.

Caroline: 'Cause my moms -- it'll make my moms very, very, very happy.

Ridge: All right.

Thomas: Hey, let me help you guys with that. Here. All right. Let me just flip that around. All right.

[Camera shutter clicks]

Thomas: It's a great shot.

Caroline: Thanks.

Thomas: Uh-huh.

Caroline: Hey. Don't.

Ridge: Don't what?

Caroline: Don't do that. Look at me. I'm smiling. Do you know why? Because you and I are having a baby. You and Thomas are gonna get better as time goes by, and it's because you are the kindest, sweetest, most lovely man ever.

Ridge: I am?

Caroline: You are. Kiss me.

Eric: Thanksgiving -- become a symbol of thanks and tradition and a celebration of our freedoms in our families, a celebration of what we share in common and respect for our differences. And speaking of traditions, uh, hope introduced a new tradition here a couple of years ago.

Bill: Well, hope's not here, so it's a perfect time to end it.

Brooke: Not a chance.

[Laughter]

Eric: Brooke and I worked really hard on this seating arrangement, so here's how you play. You turn to the person on your right and you say something appreciative to them. And we'll go right around the table. Thomas, I'm very glad you're back, not just for the company and for the family and keep us all in line, but mostly for your father. I know how much it means for him to have you and Steffy together. I'm glad you're back.

Thomas: Thanks, granddad. Uh, well, it feels great to be back. Um, you know, our lives are filled with special moments and days like today, and a very special day is coming for you. And I can't think of anything more beautiful than two people bringing a child into the world. You are gonna be an amazing mother. And the two of you, fabulous parents.

Caroline: Thank you. [Chuckles] Eric mentioned celebrating traditions. I look around this table and I see that the traditional family is evolving. There's all different types of families. I grew up with two moms. But love, loyalty, and how you face things together, that's what makes a family. And that's what we're doing. You are going to make an amazing father to our child.

Ridge: Hi.

Steffy: Hi.

Ridge: Steffy. My fierce, little daughter. You're independent, you're opinionated, and you're cutthroat, and you love very deeply. And I'm happy for both you guys. I really am. You take care of her, 'cause otherwise she'll tell you.

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: I will.

[Both laugh]

Steffy: Um, well, where do I start? Thank you for giving us another chance. The beginning of our forever. I love you so much. My fiancé.

Liam: Fiancée. I like it.

Steffy: You like that? [Chuckles]

Liam: Katie, you are just --

Bill: Hey, hey, hey.

[Laughter]

Liam: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Dad.

Bill: Son.

Liam: What can I say? You've supported me, you've loved me, you've -- you've taught me more than I ever could have imagined. And a vote of confidence coming from you means everything. I love you.

Bill: I love you, too. My Katie. I am so lucky to have you sitting next to me again this year. In fact, I am the luckiest man in the world.

Katie: Mm-hmm.

Bill: You agree?

Katie: Yes.

Bill: We agree on that?

Katie: [Laughs] Vivienne. [Chuckles] I don't know you very well, but I can tell by your two lovely daughters that you must be a wonderful and devoted mother. And I'm so happy that you're here for our celebration.

Vivienne: Thank you, Katie. Julius, I know you know I haven't always agreed to everything you've done for the good of the family. But I am so grateful for your willingness to move to los Angeles so that we could be closer to our children... and bring this family together again.

Julius: Thank you, Vivienne. Maya. My...daughter.

Julius: Been a long time since I've had my whole family together for Thanksgiving, to have both of my daughters here and that they actually want me here. I don't know why.

[Laughter]

Julius: I'm just grateful. And you, too, rick. You guys want to make me a grandfather, huh? I think you're crazy. But maybe we can, I don't know, all be crazy together.

[Laughter]

Maya: I'm -- I'm -- I'm happy you're here. I don't think I'll ever forget some of the hurtful things that you said to me in this house, but I will always remember hearing you say you love me. I can't remember ever hearing that before. You say that you're willing to try and accept me. If you mean it...

Julius: I'm trying. And I do love you.

Maya: [Chuckles] I know. I know. This... this is my family. You've welcomed me with open arms, and what my sister is doing for me, I have never experienced an act of love like that. Except from this man.

[Laughter]

Maya: Being your wife, the acceptance that you have and the support that I know is always there... don't ever forget how much I love you.

Rick: Okay. I guess I love you, too.

All: Awww.

[Laughter]

Rick: Zende. Can I just say how grateful I am? The love and the support that you give Nicole every step of the way while she gives Maya and me the greatest gift that we never thought possible... thank you.

Zende: Of course. Um... although I'd say you're the greatest gift to me, I'm really impressed with what you're doing for rick and Maya. I can't even begin to imagine making a life-changing decision like that. But you did. That's how you live life. A life that I hope to be a part of for a very, very long time. I love you, Nicole.

Nicole: Charlie, what can I say? You protect us, you inform us, but most of all, you make us laugh. [Chuckles] Thanks for being good people.

Charlie: I made you laugh?

[Laughter]

Charlie: Speaking of good people, Pam Douglas, my pumpkin pie, I don't need a special day to give thanks. Not that I'm not an American. I like old glory -- love old glory -- and all of the traditions. But my glory and my life right now is being with my sweet pam.

Pam: Thank you. Deacon. I'm thankful that you're in Quinn's life, making her feel so loved and... keeping her in check. Look, I even left a butter knife at her place.

[Laughter]

Pam: And for that, that just proves how much good you've done for her.

Deacon: Thank you, I think.

Pam: [Laughs]

Deacon: Quinn, you are stubborn and vindictive and frustratingly right --

Quinn: I don't think you understand the way this game plays.

Deacon: But what I want to say is that the last thing that I would ever want is a boring marriage, so I'm thankful for everything, especially you.

Quinn: [Chuckles] Oh.

Wyatt: Oh.

Quinn: You.

Wyatt: [Chuckles]

Quinn: Oh, we have been through so much.

Wyatt: Yeah.

Quinn: I mean, do you remember that year that I tried to flash-cook the turkey in the kiln?

Wyatt: Oh, it was a terrible idea.

Quinn: It was a terrible, terrible idea.

[Both laugh]

Quinn: But, um, you have been brilliant at such a young age. I couldn't be more proud.

Wyatt: Thanks, mom.

Quinn: [Chuckles]

Wyatt: [Chuckles] [Clears throat] You, lady, are relentless, whether it's with your principles or your family or your work. We've had our bouts of being the underdogs, but you never give up. And I hope you never give up on me, because I will never give up on you. I love you.

Ivy: Brooke Logan. The legend and the myth, everybody.

[Laughter]

Ivy: You -- you fill the halls at work with such compassion and kindness. You have this amazing ability to, uh, to sort of know everything, but it's not in a gossipy kind of way. I think it -- [Chuckles] It really comes from your desire to help everybody out and make sure -- make sure we're all okay.

Brooke: Thank you. That's really sweet. And lastly, Eric. Simply put, we are all here because of you. You're the leader of this family. You're the foundation. If there's one thing we should be thankful for each and every year, it's you. So... hip-hip!

All: Hooray!

Brooke: Hip-hip!

All: Hooray!

Brooke: Hip-hip!

All: Hooray!

Eric: Okay, okay. Thank you, thank you. And thank you all for participating in this most-important Forrester tradition. You all did very well.

[All chuckle]

Eric: I think the oldest tradition is probably, uh, love and commitment and, uh, respect for one another. This family has evolved, as has the human race. I can think of no better time for me to be alive and sitting right here at this table right now today with all of you, looking into your wonderful faces. Happy Thanksgiving.

All: Happy Thanksgiving!

Eric: Cheers, everyone. Stuffing down here, please.

[Laughter]

Eric: Let it all go up in flames

I'm gonna love you love you be here now love you like it's the end of the world as the sky's falling down I'm gonna hold you hold you let it burn hold you as long as
