Episode # 7105 ~ Ivy realizes that everything has changed when she witnesses a tender moment between Steffy & Liam; Aly has a meltdown in a staff meeting, vehemently opposing that Steffy & Maya are the face of the company.

Ridge: Lose this.

Caroline: Yeah? This, too. Just make it --

Ridge: Well, don't you think -- yeah, just a little more simple on here. Elegant. Yeah, right there.

Aly: Another design for Maya?

Caroline: Yeah, Aly. She's our lead model.

Aly: Only because people feel sorry for her.

Maya: It's not the first time my mother's turned her back on me.

Rick: Still, it had to hurt.

Maya: It did. You know what stung the most? Is that for one second, I thought it might be different. She reached out and touched me, and... I felt like my heart would explode out of my chest, you know? And I knew better. I knew she couldn't, but one second... not everyone can love me like you do.

Rick: She's your mom.

Maya: And she should be able to love me unconditionally, but... if she can't, it's not my fault. Or my problem.

Steffy: I spoil you!

Liam: No, you don't! No, you don't!

Steffy: Yes, I do!

Liam: Okay, listen, listen, the massage was great.

Steffy: Okay.

Liam: It was great. It was everything I needed and more. Okay, here's the thing. When you say you have a "surprise" --

Ivy: Hey, um... do you have a minute to talk about the jewelry line? There's just some things I need to go over.

Steffy: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, sure.

Ivy: I was gonna bring it up at the party, but you and Liam took off.

Aly: The only reason Maya still works here is because people got angry when they thought you fired her.

Ridge: Maya's here because she's good at what she does.

Aly: Those people don't care about business. They probably saw some link on social media and decided to have an uproar. You shouldn't give in to trolls like that.

Caroline: Okay, those people are not trolls.

Ridge: [Sighs] Heard what you said. Noted. Now, let's not talk about it anymore, okay? Caroline and I have a meeting to get ready for.

Aly: When is it? Should I just stay here or should I come back?

Ridge: [Chuckles] You want to come to another meeting?

Caroline: Didn't go so well last time, remember?

Aly: I'm a Forrester. I have as much right to be there as anyone.

Rick: You didn't deserve to be rejected.

Maya: [Sighs] I should be used to it by now.

Rick: No, you shouldn't. Ever.

Maya: Thank you. Now you know why your support has always meant so much to me.

Rick: New experiences for you.

Maya: Yeah, I mean, feeling at home, safe, loved for who I am.

Rick: Well, there's more where that came from.

Maya: Oh, really?

Rick: Mm-hmm.

Maya: Well, maybe we should continue this a little later.

Rick: Oh, right.

Maya: [Laughs]

Rick: Yeah, King Ridge and Princess Steffy have, uh, summoned us.

Maya: La la.

[Both laugh]

Liam: I mean, the party was fun. It's just Aly, right?

Steffy: Yeah, I was trying to be patient with my cousin. I mean, I know she has issues, but she was just going way too strong. She just takes everything to the extreme and takes everything so personally. The girl has problems with me, with Maya, with the whole collection. Oh, speaking of, uh, I have a meeting. Shoot. I have a meeting.

Ivy: Um, okay, so can we talk about the jewelry line when?

Steffy: You know what? Liam is vice president. You know what I like. Uh, he can handle whatever you need to discuss.

Liam: I can?

Steffy: Sure. I trust you.

Liam: Okay.

Steffy: Okay. Got to go. See you.

Aly: You didn't say Maya would be at this meeting.

Rick: Ridge didn't tell me you'd be here, either.

Ridge: This won't take long. I just want to make sure we're on the same page with this new collection.

Steffy: Hey. I thought this was an executive meeting.

Ridge: Rick, Maya, you guys are dealing with the media. Just make sure they know what we're trying to do here.

Aly: Why? Rick and Maya had their time in the spotlight. Why do you even want them involved in this?

Caroline: Aly, we've been over this.

Aly: The direction and focus of this collection is wrong!

Steffy: Says who, Aly?

Aly: Says me.

Liam: I got to tell you, I like them all.

Ivy: Yeah, but will Steffy like them?

Liam: Ah, ah, ah! No, no! You heard what Steffy said. It's my choice. And I choose... all of them.

Ivy: Well, then, great. This is gonna be my biggest collection ever.

Liam: [Laughs]

Ivy: Hey, we should, uh, we should go out to dinner tonight and celebrate.

Liam: Tonight?

Ivy: Yeah. Or any night, really. I mean, apart from work, my schedule is pretty free.

Liam: That sounds nice.

Ivy: So... tonight, then?

Liam: Yes, oh, uh... right. I should probably check in with Steffy. Um, no, no, no. Just -- just because we might be working.

Ivy: Well, you can't work every night.

Liam: This is true.

Ivy: I think this is exactly what we need. Just some time together. It's the only way we're ever gonna be able to get things back on track. And I'm not saying I'm expecting things to go back to how they were before Steffy came back home. I mean, dinner can just be dinner. It doesn't have to be anything too heavy. Just two people enjoying each others' company, just like we used to.

Liam: I'd like that.

Steffy: Aly, that ship has sailed. California Freedom is our next collection.

Aly: We're going backwards! Lingerie, bikinis?

Caroline: We're selling an idea.

Aly: A bad one!

Caroline: People come to California because they -- they get to be themselves and -- and be accepted for who they are.

Maya: And to follow their dreams.

Steffy: Yeah, this isn't about lingerie and swimwear. It's about California spirit, being rebellious and fun and confident and sexy.

Aly: Too sexy.

Steffy: I think it's empowering.

Aly: Maybe for women like you who like showing off, flaunting their bodies.

Ridge: Aly, you're not listening.

Aly: Do you like your daughter being looked at like that? People gawking at her on billboards and -- and magazines?

Caroline: It's not about being looked at, okay? California Freedom is about being seen.

Ridge: That's good.

Caroline: You like that?

Ridge: I do.

Rick: I do. I mean, he -- Ridge does. I-I --

Maya: It resonates with me, too.

Aly: Not with me.

Steffy: What are you doing, Aly? Why are you here? So you can be heard? Do you think your opinion matters?

Aly: Are you saying it doesn't?

Steffy: You are missing the point, okay? California Freedom is for everyone. Have you even looked at the designs? We are celebrating women's bodies, their natural beauty. We're not gonna cover up what's unique to them.

Aly: And you're leaving nothing to the imagination. It's all just hanging out!

Caroline: Aly, you can be provocative and still be tasteful.

Aly: I thought things would be better with uncle Ridge in charge. Rick was so awful.

Rick: Wow. I'm right here.

Aly: But now it's gonna be the Steffy and Maya show. Forrester used to stand for quality and class, traditional values. You know, when grandpa was in charge of the company --

Ridge: Well, I'm running the company now, and I'd love to get back to work. Let's talk about execution.

Aly: You can't just ignore me!

Ridge: I'm trying to ignore you. And I'm not changing the campaign.

Aly: Even if it's bad for the company?

Rick: We just had one of our best quarters ever.

Aly: Money. That's all that you care about. Greed and sex! It's disgusting! My grandmother wouldn't approve of this! Neither would my mother!

Steffy: Oh, here we go.

Aly: I was gonna be a shoe designer. I wanted to help and be a part of the team. But you wouldn't let me. You treated me like a joke. It humiliated me. And now you're gonna do the same thing.

Ridge: No.

Aly: [Sniffles] I won't let you treat me like this. And I won't let you ruin this company.

Ridge: Aly, please calm down or I'm gonna have to ask you to leave.

Rick: We have work to do.

Aly: You're not listening to me!

Caroline: But you've said this all before.

Ridge: And you're young and you have a lot to learn about this business. It's okay.

Steffy: Look, if all you're gonna do is tell us how wrong everything is, then maybe you shouldn't be here.

Aly: Ridge said I could stay.

Ridge: I said you could stay if you could be respectful.

Aly: Maya insulted me! She and Rick treated me like a servant!

Rick: What does this have to do with the collection?

Maya: Okay, okay, you know what? Aly, I am sorry. Truly I am. But this is not the time to go on about the past.

Aly: Oh, a big surprise. Maya doesn't want to talk about the past.

Rick: Hey!

Ridge: All right, that's enough! Take a breath already! The only way we can pull this off is if we all work together.

Steffy: If you can't do that, then maybe you should go back to Paris with your father.

Aly: What?

Steffy: We don't have time to babysit you.

Aly: N-no, no, I-I belong here! I am family!

Steffy: You're my cousin, and I love you. But your attitude is becoming a problem. Constantly criticizing and preaching. Why would we want you to stay?

Aly: If I think something's wrong, I have to speak out.

Steffy: Stop being so extreme, setting yourself apart from everyone.

Caroline: I really think that you can find a way to accept this.

Steffy: You need to stop hating. Live your own life. Let everyone live theirs.

Aly: I'm not [Sniffles] Trying to tell anybody how to live, Steffy. I'm just trying to do what's best for the company. [Sniffles]

Ridge: Why don't you leave that to us?

Caroline: Can you do that?

Aly: This is my home. I don't want to leave.

Ridge: Then you know what you have to do.

Aly: Yeah, I do.

Liam: You know, I'm sorry that things got so complicated.

Ivy: No, I played a part in this, too. I mean, I asked you to marry me because of my whole citizenship mess-up.

Liam: That's -- that's not your fault.

Ivy: It changed something between us, Liam, and I'm really sorry for that.

Liam: It's handled now. So don't be.

Ivy: It's just -- I just -- I don't feel like we're past it yet.

Liam: [Sighs] Yeah, well... been a weird couple of weeks, hasn't it?

Ivy: You know what?

Liam: What?

Ivy: Let's do something completely boring.

Liam: What? Boring?

Ivy: Yeah, just -- just, you know, nothing special. Just the usual.

Liam: [Laughs] Okay. I-I think I'm now getting why your uncle didn't put you in charge of marketing.

Ivy: [Chuckles] No, no, it's just -- it's been so long since we've just been us.

Liam: Yeah.

Ivy: You know, just hanging out at the house and...cooking dinner, going for a walk on the beach.

Liam: [Sighs] That sounds so nice. I haven't had time for that in awhile.

Ivy: Yeah, I know. I bet you miss it. I know I do.

Liam: Yeah.

Ivy: Look, I know that things are really tricky right now and you're feeling all these feelings, and it is -- it is really complicated. But I think I know a way we can simplify things.

Liam: Yeah? How?

Ivy: Well, for starters, we, uh, we don't get ahead of ourselves.

Liam: [Laughs] That's good advice.

Ivy: Mm-hmm. And, uh, and number two, we set dates. We set a date and then we mark it down on a calendar and then we don't let anything get in the way of it.

Liam: Okay, so dinner followed by a boring, boring night of total relaxation. Check!

Ivy: I don't get that much time with you. So I want to enjoy it. I don't want to waste it thinking about anything... or anyone else. I meant what I said before. I still believe in us, and I think that if you give us a chance, you will, too.

Steffy: That went well.

Ridge: We didn't get much done, did we?

Steffy: We won't if Aly keeps attending our meetings.

Ridge: She stopped complaining in the end.

Steffy: That's something. Do you think I was hard on her in the meeting?

Ridge: Had to be said.

Steffy: Maybe not by me. I mean, she's been through a lot. Losing her mom, growing up super-sheltered. It's gonna take her awhile to catch up to the 21st century.

Ridge: She seemed pretty upset with you and Maya.

Steffy: We offend her.

Ridge: You're both annoying, but you're not offensive.

Steffy: Oh. Thank you.

Ridge: All right, what's going on with this Liam character?

Steffy: What? It's -- it's going well.

Ridge: I don't know what that means.

Steffy: Dad... my future is with Liam.

Ridge: You're glad you came back to LA, right?

Steffy: Yeah, it's working out.

Ridge: You know how I feel. Now all we need to do now is convince Thomas to come back.

Steffy: Yeah. It's good to be back for all of us.

Ridge: It's good for the company.

Steffy: Mm-hmm. You're right. Yeah, the company.

Ridge: That is why you came, right?

Steffy: Oh, you know, it's one of the reasons. Look, I-I wasn't positive that Liam and I would be a couple, but then I got back here and we started working together. And I don't know. There's -- there's this connection. And there will always be this connection, okay? What Liam and I have is undeniable. No matter what Ivy thinks.

Aly: I was so proud. Happy to be working with my family. Being part of something positive. Uplifting and empowering. And now this.

Darla: They ruined everything! They took something beautiful and made it ugly.

Aly: Immoral!

Darla: You can't let them get away with this, baby!

Aly: Why can't anyone see how wrong this is? I'm the only one. They won't listen. What's happened to this family?

Rick: Don't let Aly get to you.

Maya: I won't. I mean, she's just a hurt, confused kid. What's she gonna do?

Steffy: You don't have to worry about me, Dad.

Ridge: Well, I do. You seem happy.

Steffy: I am. I'm looking forward again. I'm making plans for myself. You know, for so long, all I did was look backwards. All the good was behind me. But...now I can see the good in my future. My life is filled with amazing possibilities.

Ridge: [Laughs]

Steffy: It is.

Ridge: Well, that's the attitude we need around here. Come on. I got to go. Bye.

Steffy: Bye. Later, skater.
