Brooke: How could you do this to my sister?!
Bill: Isn't the real question, how could she do what she's done to me?
Katie: Oh, my God!
Bill: You took my company, Katie. You took my son.
Katie: I did not take your son.
Bill: You used will as a weapon, and I wasn't about to let that continue.
Katie: So, what, you decided to get even and hurt me in the worst way possible?
Bill: It wasn't about getting even.
Brooke: No. It was about a man coming home from aspen and going straight to the mother of his child, begging her to be with him, when he had no intention of getting back with her. I really thought I knew you, bill. Now I'm not so sure.
Hope: Yeah, I-I know that that word gets thrown around a lot, but in this case, Wyatt really is a hero. I mean, if he hadn't thrown that coffee onto those robbers, I just -- "what brand of coffee?" I-I don't know. [Chuckles] Uh, I'm so sorry, Nayeli. I'm gonna have to get back to you on that one. Okay. Bye.
Hope: S-so many interviews to do, I can't get any work done, but, uh, you know, I'm not complaining.
Liam: Hey, no. Jewel heists are big news.
Hope: Foiled jewel heists are even bigger news, especially when no one gets hurt and the bad guys go to prison for a very long time.
Liam: Yeah, I'm still not exactly sure how all that could have gone down, but, hey...
Hope: Someone still a little jealous here?
Liam: [Laughs] I'll tell you what, if Wyatt is the big hero and he's standing there in the limelight and people are tripping all over themselves just to be in his presence but I've got the girl, I've got nothing to be jealous of.
Hope: You've "got" me, huh?
Liam: Well, between me and Wyatt, I think I'm [Clears throat] The clear front-runner.
Hope: Oh, oh, I see. Well, you're not lacking for confidence, but, then again, neither is Wyatt. I think maybe you two are more alike than you think.
Bill: Things had to change, and I had to change them.
Brooke: No matter who you had to lie to.
Bill: I hated lying to you. I told you that. But if you had even the slightest inkling of what I --
Brooke: I would have gone to Katie and told her everything, anyway. What you did was wrong. It was heartless.
Bill: I don't see it that way.
Katie: No, of course, you don't. "The ends justify the means." Isn't that what you've always told me when it comes to business negotiations?
Brooke: Only this wasn't business. Katie was the woman that you married, you had a child with. Yes, things were deteriorating.
Bill: To the point that I couldn't think about anything else. Come on, Brooke. You were with me in aspen. You know how consumed I was, how distracted -- to the point that I almost cost me my life on that mountain. Now, I had to get control again.
Brooke: Not like this, not by conning my sister.
Bill: What are you talking about? Who conned who in the first place? She teamed up with my sister, orchestrated the take-over of my company, took my son from me.
Bill: I mean, how is this any different?
Brooke: The fact that you even have to ask that. Katie is my little sister. You didn't think that this was gonna bother me? You thought that I should defend you, no matter what? Now I'm really beginning to see what Katie felt these last few months.
Bill: We all know how Katie felt -- the long-suffering martyr, not responsible for anything that happened.
Katie: Wow. This from a man who just pledged his undying love for me.
Bill: It had to be done.
Katie: To get me to trust you again? So when Justin brought over those papers...
Bill: If you had even been a little bit cooperative, slightly reasonable, I wouldn't have had to go to such lengths. But it's done... and we all have to move forward.
Brooke: There is no moving forward. There's no future. It's dead, bill. You killed it the moment you walked into Katie's house and lied to her -- lied to me!
Hope: We'll need to reschedule that for later today. Uh, m-much, much later today. So I'll just call you and let you --
Liam: [Southern accent] Hey, this is ms. Logan's assistant. I'm so sorry. She's gonna have to call you back. She's got a very important meeting with a very important client. Okay. Bye-bye now. Thank you.
Hope: What was that? Who was that?
Liam: [Normal voice] I'm keeping your cell phone.
Liam: Because where we're going, distractions aren't permitted.
Hope: Oh, y-you're taking me somewhere?
Liam: Yeah, a private lunch that I've arranged just for the two of us.
Hope: That sounds really nice. I-I-I can't get away right now, though.
Liam: Oh, of course you can. Watch and learn. Hey, pam. Hope's got to get out of the office for a few hours. Would you mind redirecting all her calls to voicemail and handing anything urgent over to rick? Thank you.
Hope: Mmm. I do like a take-control kind of man.
Liam: Hey, there's more than one bad boy around here. Let's go!
Alison: Bill should be walking through that door any minute now.
Justin: The place hasn't been the same without him. No one runs this company like dollar bill.
Alison: Do you know how alls happened?Cc1:
Justin: Uh, let's just say no one saw it coming.
Adele: Sorry I'm late. There were three accidents on the freeway. Thought I'd never get here. Where's Katie?
Justin: I assume home with will.
Adele: Is he sick?
Adele: What's going on?
Alison: You should be prepared to pack your things and leave.
Adele: Pack my --
Justin: There's been some changes overnight. Katie is no longer in charge.
Alison: Bill Spencer is. He's back as C.E.O.
Bill: I don't think this is a good idea.
Katie: Oh. You afraid to be alone with me after what you've done?
Bill: The pot calling the kettle black, Katie.
Bill: I'm sorry it has to be this way.
Katie: You're not sorry. You've never been sorry. I gave you no choice. Don't you remember?
Bill: We all have choices. It's a question of whether we can live with those choices after we make them.
Katie: Well, something tells me you won't be losing any sleep over this.
Bill: You might be surprised.
Katie: Oh, don't. Don't. Don't insult me by making me think that you still care about me by feeding me some line like it -- it's hurting you just as much as it's hurting me, because that is one lie that I will never believe again. Let me ask you something. Did you -- did you rehearse it -- everything that you said to me about wanting me back, about wanting to raise our son together? Did you go over it over and over again and practice it so you could sound really sincere so I could sign those papers? [Sighs] Good job. Well done. You gave the performance of your life. And I'm sure you're really proud of yourself. Let me ask you something. Do you think your son will be proud of you when he finds out what you've done, what kind of man you are?
Brooke: You better go.
Bill: All right, I'll go. I'm not giving up on us, Brooke. We'll get past this.
Brooke: No, we won't. Nobody treats me and my sister that way.
Hope: I almost forgot how beautiful this is.
Liam: Well, beautiful enough for us to want to get married here.
Hope: [Chuckles] Hey, hey, hey. You said no cell phones.
Liam: No, I said no cell calls. I did not say no cell cameras. Smile.
Liam: Let's go.
Hope: Where are we going?
Liam: I want to show you something.
Liam: So? You notice anything different?
Hope: Hmm. Okay. Uh, different.
Liam: Oh, come on! I've been a busy boy. Look, there's a -- there's a walkway to the front door. I got a new sun awning out back.
Hope: I don't know. Weren't those here before?
Liam: Oh, you shut your mouth. You know what? You notice when there's a throw pillow out of place on the couch. Don't tell me you didn't see this coming like a mile away.
Hope: Okay, all right, all right. Yeah, I-I noticed. I noticed as soon as we drove up.
Liam: Thank you.
Hope: Who knew you were so handy?
Liam: Yeah, well, awning -- piece of cake. Pathway -- blisters on my hands for days.
Hope: Really? You're telling me you did all this by yourself -- just you?
Liam: If I said yes, would you be impressed?
Hope: I'm already impressed.
Hope: I'm curious, though. Why all the changes?
Liam: You know why. Because of you. Because I-I'm looking forward to us living together, being married. That's gonna happen.
Alison: Poor Adele. I hope she lands on her feet.
Justin: Yep. She bet on the wrong horse. Not like she was the only one. [Snaps fingers]
Alison: Still haven't told me your part in this.
Bill: And he's not going to.
Justin: [Laughs] Dollar bill, welcome back.
Bill: "Welcome back"?
Bill: "Welcome back" -- that's all you got? I wasn't on vacation.
Alison: Contrary as ever. God, I've missed you.
Bill: You see, this is how you welcome a returning conqueror back to his kingdom.
Justin: Yeah, yeah.
Alison: Your majesty.
Justin: [Snaps fingers] Like you never left. [Chuckles]
Bill: Well, the financials tell another story. This company's been suffering with Katie at the helm.
Alison: You'll turn it around.
Justin: Yeah, just hearing you're at the helm will reassure everyone.
Bill: I assume you' taken care of that.
Justin: I've prepared a press release, though I was a little vague on the details.
Bill: Details don't matter. All that matters is that dollar bill is back and ready to kick some serious ass. So bring those drinks over here, and let us toast to the same.
Alison: I've restocked your favorite scotch.
Alison: Ordered. On their way.
Bill: To my triumphant return to Spencer publications... and to securing equal custody of my son. It wasn't easy... but well worth it.
Katie: I feel like such a fool.
Katie: Lied to by the father of my child.
Brooke: You just wanted your family back.
Katie: I wanted to believe in bill again. I wanted to believe that this epiphany he had was how he really felt.
Brooke: I believed it, too, and I really wanted that for you and for will. I'm sorry it didn't work out that way. I just keep thinking about Stormie... how his heart -- your second chance. And I know that it wasn't supposed to be like this -- you being divorced, a single mother. [Sighs] I just feel so responsible.
Katie: Well, it looks like the two of us are the ones paying the price. Bill got everything he wanted.
Brooke: Or so he thinks. Bill is not getting anything.
Liam: So, admit it, you've missed this a little -- the view, the ocean right outside your window... me.
Hope: I see you almost every day.
Liam: Yeah, when I swing by your office or you swing by mine, but, uh, not living together, waking up together, sharing a home, you know? And, by the way, this is not me pressuring you. I mean, you asked for time, and I'm happy to give it to you, and -- and I'm sure that you're enjoying all the attention you're getting from Wyatt and me, 'cause why wouldn't you, you know, after everything you've been through with Steffy?
Liam: But -- uh, but... it's getting a little old, and, um, I'm kind of starting to feel like I'm being punished, and, uh, it just makes me wonder how much longer. Okay, I'm done. I-I said my piece. I'm -- I'm done.
Hope: Uh, do I get to say my piece?
Liam: Can you do it in five words or less, though, 'cause we do have a picnic to get to, so, uh...
Hope: Five words or less. Okay. All -- all right. Um, how about... I love you.
Katie: What do you mean, bill's not getting anything? I signed the papers.
Brooke: It doesn't matter.
Katie: Of course it matters. Those papers -- what's going on? Brooke, what did you do?
Bill: Needless to say, everything I just told you stays in this room.
Alison: Absolutely. You never cease to amaze me.
Bill: Yeah, well, I never cease to amaze myself. But, you know, drastic times -- I wasn't about to let my company or my little boy be held hostage by Katie.
Justin: What about Brooke?
Bill: It's gonna take a little time, but she'll come around.
Alison: And then you'll have it all -- your company, your son...
Bill: And the woman I love. We need to get these papers executed A.S.A.P. I want everything nice and legal.
Alison: What's next, a phone call to your sister to gloat?
Bill: I haven't decided how I'm gonna deal with Karen yet, but let me tell you something.
Justin: Bill. Bill.
Justin: We got a problem.
Bill: What's wrong?
Brooke: While you and bill were arguing, I did something.
Brooke: You know the manila envelope that bill brought with the documents in it for you to sign? Well, while he was talking to you, I took those documents out and I replaced them with the leaves that I brought home from aspen.
Katie: You -- you did that for me?
Brooke: Yeah. I know I've caused you a lot of pain in the past, but nothing or no one is ever going to come ahead of you again. I promise.
