Bill: Oh, no. Let me get that for you.
Hope: Thank you.
Bill: Um, uh... um, I just still can't believe that you took off Liam's ring.
Hope: You should be happy about that.
Bill: Well... I'm not really...happy. I'm kind of confused. I don't know which son to root for.
Hope: I'm really sorry they're not both fighting over Steffy.
Brooke: No reason to be so hostile.
Bill: Uh, no, Brooke. I. Actually, I think I maybe deserve a little hostility from Hope. We got off to a bad start, which is entirely on me. But now that we're going to be family...
Hope: I'm sorry. Are you implying that you are going to marry my mother?
Katie: See if Justin can move our 10:00 until after lunch, and we're gonna have to move the conference call with the Boston affiliate to later this afternoon. Apologize to everyone, but it cannot be helped.
Woman: Did I miss something on your calendar?
Katie: [Chuckles] No. That would be impossible, because you are frighteningly efficient. Bill's coming by to spend some time with his son.
Woman: I'll let you know when he arrives.
Katie: Thank you.
Man: Great event yesterday.
Wyatt: [Chuckles] It went well, didn't it?
Woman 2: I've never seen that many people in the boutique, and lined up around the block!
Woman 2: Copping that diamond was pure genius.
Man: Can't wait to see it up close.
Wyatt: Well, prepare to be stunned. There's nothing like it in the world.
[Cell phone rings]
Wyatt: Excuse me. [Clears throat] Hey, Eric. Seriously? [Chuckles] They're lined up already, again? Hey, there's nothing to worry about. Security is tight. That diamond is not going anywhere. Oh. Thanks, man. That means a lot coming from you. Thanks.
Woman 2: I can see that you're busy. Just wanted to say congratulations.
Wyatt: Thank you. I appreciate it.
Liam: Well, riding high.
Wyatt: And you're about to tell me to watch out for the fall.
Liam: No. No! No, I want to see that part.
Wyatt: Look, I hate to disappoint you, but failure is not an option for me.
Liam: [Laughs] Y-yeah. We make plans. The universe laughs. Trust me. I know. Besides, you've been trying to take a wrecking ball to mine ever since you showed up.
Wyatt: Just looking out for Hope.
Liam: Yeah, and it's worked out well so far. You, uh, hustled your way into her personal life and now her business life.
Wyatt: I am an asset! When we revealed that diamond at the Beverly Hills boutique, hundreds of people lined up, not just to gawk. They spent money. I believe the words I heard were "record sales."
Liam: Yeah, all because of Wyatt!
Wyatt: Actually, no. Because Hope and I make a damn good team. I know it, and she knows it. And it's only just the beginning. So don't go banking on me failing Hope or disappointing her. That's your MO, not mine.
Hope: You two, you -- you've actually discussed...marriage.
Bill: Well, sure, we have.
Brooke: We're...taking things one day at a time.
Hope: That's...good. Um...there are, you know, some people who are still getting used to you two even living together, so...
Bill: Yeah, we realize it's a big adjustment, but, in time, everyone will make it. Anyway, uh, I have a big meeting. I have to get going.
Brooke: Oh. Uh, give Will a kiss for me.
Bill: Well, plant one here, and I'll transfer it to him.
Bill: See you later. See you later, Hope.
Hope: Mm-hmm. [Clears throat]
Brooke: I know what you're going to say.
Hope: I'm sorry, Mom. This is just... wrong. And on some level, I think that you know that.
Brooke: No, I don't.
Hope: I'm sorry. And I know that, ultimately, you and Bill are going to do whatever it is you two want to do. I know. But I've got to be true to myself, too, and I-I just want you to know that if Bill is going to be living here... I don't think I can.
Wyatt: I just need you to understand something here. Hope and I are in a partnership. Forrester Creations and Quinn Artisan Jewelers are a smash hit right out of the gate, and that's only for starters. I am going to do everything that I can to help Hope not only realize but surpass her every dream.
Liam: Okay, but you're not gonna stand there and pretend like this is all about business for you, are you?
Wyatt: I have been up front since the beginning! I'm crazy about Hope. And even so, I was willing to back off when she said she wanted to marry you, until... you hurt her with that video.
Liam: Uh, the video. Yeah, about that -- still wondering how that made its way to Hope.
Wyatt: Wasn't me. Believe it, don't believe it -- I don't care. The end result is still the same. You were thoughtless with Hope's feelings, and you lost her.
Liam: Ain't over till it's over.
Wyatt: [Chuckles] Unbelievable. You think you can just treat Hope any kind of way and get her back whenever you want. And then you have the audacity to say that I'm arrogant.
Liam: Listen. Hope and I have been making our way around obstacles since long before any of us even knew you existed, and we're gonna clear this one just fine. So you should probably move along, because Hope belongs to me.
Katie: Nope. You don't want that one? Oh!
Bill: Hey, hey, hey!
Katie: Look who's here!
Bill: There's my boy! Look at him!
Bill: Hi! What -- what -- what are you feeding this boy?!
Katie: [Chuckles] I know. He's gotten so big. You're missing out on so much. Sorry. I didn't mean that to be a dig.
Bill: I didn't take it that way. It's true, you know? Kids don't stop developing just because daddy's not living in the house, right? Right?
Katie: I know. He's gonna be walking soon. Get ready.
Bill: Then the trouble really starts.
Bill: You know what? We're gonna be ready to hike Saddle Peak pretty soon.
Katie: Well, how about maybe something a little less ambitious, like toddling around the duck pond?
Bill: Toddling? To-- you hear that? Toddling? Yeah, tell mommy Spencer men -- we don't toddle. We -- we strut. We stride with confidence and -- and purpose!
Bill: Come here. Come here.
Katie: Yeah, go. Go see daddy.
Katie: Yeah! [Sighs]
Brooke: I don't want you to feel like you have to move out. This is your home, too.
Hope: Well, I-I don't like living with Bill.
Brooke: Can't you just...let it go? Just start over with him.
Hope: I don't think that's possible. [Stammers, sighs] It might be really easy for you to forget all the terrible things he did, but you have to remember that I was his favorite target.
Brooke: Honey, he wants to make it up to you.
Hope: Well, okay. He can try...preferably from a distance.
Brooke: I get that you're disappointed.
Hope: I'm disappointed because...essentially, what has happened is you chose Bill over Katie. Logan women stick together! Logan women support each other! How many times have you told me that? I know that you and Bill are riding out this wave, and it might seem really exciting right now. But what if it doesn't last? You know, what if it's on and gone and Bill decides to leave? W-will it have been worth losing your sister? Men come and go, Mom. You know that. But family -- family is forever. I just want you to think about everything that you and Katie have been through, how much you depend on each other, how devastated you were when she almost died. You know, uncle Storm -- he gave the ultimate sacrifice so Katie could live, so she could have a wonderful life. And is this really how it's turn out for her -- losing her husband to the sister that she's always, always trusted? I just am asking you to please think about what this means. Think about what you could lose. Think about who you could hurt.
Brooke: Oh, Katie. You're gonna make such a beautiful bride.
Katie: [Sighs] Right now, I feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.
Brooke: May you always feel as loved and as special as you do today.
Brooke: You have us! You have people around you who love you! And that right there is a reason to live!
Katie: I trust you with my life, Brooke. I trust you with everything I have.
Bill: So, you may have noticed that I was in...a little bit of a mood the day of the board meeting.
Katie: Yeah, I caught that.
Bill: Well, you got to give me a break, you know? It's, uh... it's not easy giving up control of this place. Having said that...
Bill: I owe you an apology.
Katie: Wow. Don't strain yourself! [Chuckles]
Bill: Not for what I said. The points I made were valid and accurate. But the way I...disseminated the information was maybe a little...disrespectful...
Bill: ...Particularly in front of Dani and the rest of the board members. It was, uh...
Katie: Apology accepted.
Bill: Thank you for being gracious.
Katie: Well, this is what I want, Bill. I want us to be able to get along. We owe that to our son.
Bill: I agree, Katie. I would hate for us to be a, you know, bitter former couple who forgets why we were together in the first place.
Bill: We hurt each other. And things didn't turn out like we planned.
Bill: But I'll always care about you, Katie. Always.
Brooke: Enough about me. Let's talk about your love life for a minute.
Brooke: Any regrets about calling off your engagement?
Hope: No. I had to do what was right for me, and I'm -- I'm not going down the Liam-and-Steffy road one more time. [Sighs] And u-until I'm sure that he's done with her, I can't -- I can't marry him. I -- and I told Liam that again, and I'm just -- I'm really hoping that this time, he heard me.
Brooke: I'm proud of you. It's hard to let go of a man that you love.
Hope: I guess I'm just trying to love myself more.
Brooke: [Sighs] And Wyatt?
Hope: Um...Wyatt is... terrific and consistent, and I like that. [Chuckles]
Brooke: And he's crazy about you.
Hope: Yeah, I know he is.
Brooke: And it's really cute how open he is about it.
Hope: You know, Wyatt is definitely hard to resist.
Brooke: Why would you even want to?
Hope: Well, I was really trying to because of Liam. But now [Sighs] I don't know.
Brooke: Yep. [Sighs] Such a dilemma. Two handsome, exceptional, young gentlemen, both competing for your heart.
Hope: [Sighs] Tell me about it. Life is so tough.
Wyatt: If it's all the same to you, I'll let Hope be the one to tell me to back off. But, frankly, I don't see that happening.
Liam: Because you're so wonderful.
Wyatt: No, because I'm focused on Hope and what she needs and what she's going through right now.
Liam: Okay, Wyatt. Why don't you tell me what Hope's going through right now?
Wyatt: Oh, you don't even know! You've been so busy staking claim that you're not even paying attention to her. She's upset about her mom and our dad. She doesn't want them to be together, and, frankly, I agree with her.
Liam: Oh, I'm shocked.
Wyatt: Look. You and I didn't grow up with a father, okay? I don't want that happening to Will, either.
Liam: Oh, what are you talking about? You barely know the kid, Wyatt!
Wyatt: He's still my brother! He's still blood!
Liam: Listen, my fiancée may not be onto you, Wyatt, but I am.
Wyatt: Do I really have to point out the obvious to you?! Hope is not your fiancée anymore! I think she made that pretty clear yesterday.
Liam: No, no! She's not wearing my ring presently! But make no mistake about it -- she will be my wife. And all you will have accomplished with this relentless pursuit is to alienate me. But that's fine if you don't want to have a relationship with the only brother you got.
Wyatt: Believe it or not, that's actually what I do want!
Wyatt: Look, we're very different. But I guess we do have one thing in common.
Liam: I'm afraid to ask.
Wyatt: We got the same taste in women.
Liam: [Sighs] [Laughs]
Wyatt: So, where do you stand on the whole dad/Brooke situation?
Liam: Oh. [Sighs] That's, uh -- [Chuckles] That's really none of my business.
Wyatt: That's a cop-out. I mean, you must have an opinion.
Liam: Uh, listen, Wyatt. One thing I've learned -- despite everyone's best intentions, sometimes, a relationship gets broken, and there's no way to fix it. You do your best. You salvage what you can, and you move on. You -- w-what are you looking at me like that for? [Clears throat]
Wyatt: Look. I would agree with you if there wasn't a kid involved. But there is. When you have a kid, you stop making selfish decisions. You put that kid first. And if that means that you don't get to be happy, well, that's too damn bad.
Liam: What? Oh, what -- so, Dad has to spend the next 18 years of his life in a marriage that isn't working? That hurts Will, too, Wyatt.
Wyatt: Dad didn't even try to work it out with Katie! He just got fed up, and he took off, and he moved in with Brooke! And -- and that's another thing that's wrong about this whole situation. Will loses his aunt, too! And that's not fair. And Hope gets that -- where the priorities should be. It's one thing I love about her.
Liam: Okay, yeah. Well, you know what? You w-w-- what? W-wait, back -- w-- back up a second. Did you say "love"?
Wyatt: Yeah. Yeah.
Liam: One thing you love about her.
Wyatt: I love her.
Liam: You love about her.
Wyatt: Yes, I love Hope.
Liam: You love about her.
Wyatt: Liam, you threw her away for Steffy again! I'm not gonna apologize or feel guilty for wanting to show her what it's like to have a man who only wants her.
Liam: So you're not backing off.
Wyatt: Um, let me see. Do I have notes on this? No.
Liam: [Sighs] All right. Fine. You're wasting your time.
Wyatt: I guess we'll see, then.
Bill: [Inhales sharply]
Katie: Thank you.
Bill: For what?
Katie: For apologizing. It means a lot. You know, I -- after everything that's happened, I don't want to lose sight of the things that are still good between us.
Bill: He's right there.
Bill: Any regrets about having a child with me?
Katie: [Laughs] No, of course not. I mean, this isn't exactly the life I imagined for him, but I could never regret it. You?
Bill: No. You're the perfect mother for my little boy.
Katie: [Sighs, sniffles] Your very active little boy.
Katie: Yes, you are!
Bill: Well, he's a Spencer, isn't he? He's a Spencer.
Hope: All right, Mom. I let you deflect me for a minute, but I need you to hear what I'm saying.
Hope: Just... another thing, one more thing.
Brooke: [Sighs] All right. What is it?
Hope: You are living here with Bill, the man that you lost yourself over. You're able to indulge in your passions with him.
Hope: And it's because you followed your heart into another... emotional disaster! I think maybe it is time that you shake things up... and you listen to your conscience. Your conscience, Mom. What is it telling you?
