Katie: This looks amazing. Thank you. Okay.

[Bill remembering]

Brooke: I'm grieving... grieving the loss of our baby.

Bill: Our baby?

Brooke: I was gonna tell you, Bill. That's why I was at your house and I collapsed. I was gonna tell you that I was pregnant.

[Back to present]

Katie: Thank you for doing this.

Bill: It's your sister's birthday.

Katie: I know, and we are celebrating in style.

Bill: And I'm sure Brooke is going to be very happy.

Katie: Oh, I hope so. She's done so much for me. You both have.

Thomas: So, Brooke had a party and put up a tent. What's the big deal?

Taylor: Oh, she had a party, all right. For a party of two.

Thomas: [Chuckles] Okay, that sounds a little bit more like Brooke.

Taylor: She was seducing Eric.

Thomas: Whoa.

Taylor: Yes. She was attempting to re-create their wedding night.

Thomas: Which they spent in a tent out in the desert, yeah. I heard about that.

Taylor: But Eric shut her down.

Thomas: I would sure hope so. You guys are living together. But why would Brooke do that? She has no interest in Eric.

Taylor: Except to be the father of her unborn baby.

Brooke: You didn't have to get me anything.

Hope: Are you kidd-- it's your birthday!

Rick: Yeah.

Hope: It probably means more to us than it does to you.

Brooke: Oh, a CD! [Gasps] All my favorite songs.

Rick: Yeah, I snagged it off your cell phone and your tablet. But that's not all. We set you up at your favorite spa.

Hope: Mm-hmm.

Brooke: Oh!

Hope: Yes, we did. But there are some songs on here that you had forgotten, like this one. Do you remember that? You used to sing this to me all the time when I was little.

Brooke: Yes.

Hope: Yes.

Rick: Some wonderful memories there.

Brooke: Ones that I will always cherish.

Hope: Mm. Happy birthday, Mama.

Brooke: Thank you, Sweetie.

Bill: You know, you didn't have to do all this, Katie. Brooke knows how much you love her.

Katie: You think it's too much?

Bill: I just don't want you pushing yourself.

Katie: Brooke means so much to me. She's always been there for me. She taught me how to love and how to trust. And before I met you, I didn't trust men. But I learned to trust you. I've always trusted Brooke. Hey!

Donna: Oh, cover your eyes, Children. What are they doing next?

Katie: Hi!

Dayzee: Hi.

Marcus: Wow.

Donna: Wow. You never did something like this for me.

Katie: Well, you've never been the head of the Logan clan.

Donna: Oh, yes, Brooke does have that title.

Katie: She earned it. You guys look great. Come on. Let me get you something to eat.

Marcus: Okay. Bill.

Rick: So, ready to party?

Hope: Mm-hmm. I helped Kate set up last night.

Brooke: [Sighs] I'd really rather spend the day with you two.

Hope: Oh.

Rick: Well, maybe next year. Your sister's got other plans.

Hope: Mm-hmm. She just wants to give you a day that you will never forget.

Brooke: Mm. Just so much attention.

Hope: Well, you deserve it.

Rick: Yeah, because, Mom, we admire you. And we admire and respect you.

Brooke: Thank you. That means a lot to me.

Rick: Let's go celebrate.

Hope: Let's go party.

Rick: Come on.

Brooke: All right, let's go. And we can listen to this on the way over there.

Hope: Oh, perfect!

Thomas: Brooke is pregnant?

Taylor: She was pregnant. She miscarried the baby.

Thomas: Well, who was the father?

Taylor: Who else? Bill Spencer.

Thomas: So, those two did have something going on.

Taylor: Yes. Yes, and I asked her about it over and over again, and she denied it. I knew it! I knew she was lying.

Thomas: Katie -- does she know?

Taylor: Not yet.

Thomas: Now she's planning this big birthday celebration.

Taylor: And Eric wants me to be there. Katie's my patient. And I know eventually I'm going to have to tell her the truth.

Eric: Oh.

Katie: Did Taylor come with you?

Eric: No, she left the house early this morning.

Katie: But she's coming.

Eric: I hope so.

Bill: Katie, Taylor and Brooke aren't exactly best of friends.

Katie: Yeah, well, I think it's time we all got over that, right?

Eric: I agree with that. And I want her here.

Katie: Good. Let me get you a drink.

Eric: Okay.

Thomas: So, what are you going to do?

Taylor: I don't know.

Thomas: You're not gonna go to that party.

Taylor: This whole thing is such a nightmare. Katie is so naive and innocent, and she adores Brooke.

Thomas: Perfect role model -- woman who slept with her husband.

Taylor: And here she is planning this huge celebration for her.

Thomas: That's got to be uncomfortable for Brooke.

Taylor: I personally don't care about Brooke's comfort level.

Thomas: Mom, are you sure about this pregnancy?

Taylor: Ultrasound administered? She miscarried Bill's baby. I'm positive.

Thomas: This party sounds like a place you don't want to be.

Taylor: Oh, I just cannot believe that she's done this to her sister.

[Cell phone rings]

Taylor: [Sighs] Hi.

Eric: Where are you?

Taylor: Uh, I'm in your office.

Eric: Taylor, I want you to come to Brooke's party.

Taylor: Eric, trust me -- I don't think you want me there.

Eric: Yes, I do -- for me, for us. I'll see you in a little while.

Taylor: [Sighs]

Thomas: He wants you there.

Katie: Look, Bill. New arrivals.

Maya: Hello, Mr. Spencer.

Bill: Maya, my new favorite person.

Maya: It's a beautiful home you have.

Bill: Be it ever so humble.

Maya: It's better than a jail cell.

Bill: You're the expert. Come on in.

Maya: Oh, thank you.

Bill: Rick.

Rick: Bill.

Katie: Oh! You're here! Happy birthday!

All: Happy birthday!

Brooke: Oh. Honey, you didn't have to do all this.

Katie: Long overdue. Long, long overdue.

Taylor: I don't know how I'm going to pull off acting like I'm having fun at Brooke's birthday.

Thomas: Just make an appearance and then leave.

Taylor: Well, that isn't gonna work for Eric. He wants me to be happy there and be involved.

Thomas: I take it he is not aware that you know about the pregnancy.

Taylor: I haven't told him I know.

Thomas: Well, maybe you should. He'll understand why you don't want to go. Unless... he doesn't know about the pregnancy.

Taylor: I'm sure Brooke told him. That's why she did this whole tent thing -- because she was trying to seduce him. Can you believe that? She was trying to save face by stealing a man who was fully committed to me. She has no conscience. God only knows what she could do to Katie.

Thomas: Do you think Brooke and Bill are still involved?

Taylor: Oh, please. This is Brooke Logan we're talking about. She may say that they're not involved anymore, but, oh, it'll happen again. [Sighs] There's just this part of me that feels like I owe it to Katie to go there and be there at the party.

Thomas: Well, I know you, Mom, and the only reason that you would go is to blow the whistle on Brooke.

Taylor: You don't think she deserves it? She destroyed our family. She destroyed my marriage. I'm not gonna let her do that again. She is not going to do that to Katie.

Thomas: Well, it sounds like you made up your mind.

Taylor: Believe me -- I am not going to enjoy this.

Thomas: Look, you'll break Katie's heart if you open this up.

Taylor: Katie is living a lie. As a doctor, I can't ignore that. That's what I do for a living. I help people face reality.

Thomas: Well, maybe you should just not go. Tell Eric you're not feeling well.

Taylor: But I still have to tell her one day, sooner or later, so what's the difference?

Thomas: Mother, you work with these people. They'll hate you.

Taylor: They may, but at least I know I've done the right thing.

Thomas: And there's no other way?

Taylor: Sweetheart, marriage cannot function if there are lies and secrets, and Katie isn't going to be able to be happy with Bill, truly, unless this comes to light.

Thomas: I doubt she'll be happy with Bill if it does.

Taylor: That's why I say we might as well let them face it now. And besides, I'm not gonna be happy with myself if things get worse and I didn't do anything to stop it. So I better go.

Thomas: Well, would you like some moral support?

Taylor: Let's keep you out of this one.

Thomas: [Chuckles] Okay. Love you.

Taylor: Wish me luck.

Thomas: Yeah, yeah.

[Door closes]

[Indistinct conversations]

Katie: Brooke looks like she's having fun, right?

Bill: How could she not?

Katie: She's been so good to me.

Dayzee: Oh, look at you -- working actress.

Marcus: Opposite my brother, which I still can't believe.

Maya: I know. It's just a web thing, but we did shoot our first episode.

Marcus: Well, hey, it's a job.

Rick: It's more than a job. She's a star. She's gonna be a leading lady. It's just the beginning.

Maya: You sound like my agent.

Rick: You watch. When this thing goes viral, those offers are gonna come pouring in.

Maya: My biggest fan.

Rick: You better believe it.

Liam: Hey.

Hope: Hi.

Liam: Glad to see you here.

Hope: Yeah, well, it's my mom's birthday. Where else would I be?

Liam: I guess.

Hope: I'm glad to see you, too, by the way.

Liam: Yeah, I guess you made it back from Big Bear safely.

Hope: I did. Yeah, a little traffic on the 210, but, yeah.

Liam: What did you do after I left?

Hope: Um... yeah, I -- I took some walks.

Liam: Good. It's so pretty out there, you know? Why not?

Hope: Yeah. It is. Um... any, uh -- any word from Steffy?

Liam: Uh, no. No. So I guess... she's all settled in Paris.

Donna: Hi.

Eric: Hey. Katie really outdid herself, didn't she?

Donna: Well, us Logan girls, we know how to throw a party.

Eric: Mm-hmm. I seem to remember a few parties that you threw at the house.

Donna: Where's Taylor?

Eric: She's not here yet.

Donna: You know, Eric, this might not exactly be the best place for her.

Eric: I'm hoping that, one of these days, we can all get past that.

Donna: Yeah. But Brooke and Taylor have a history.

Eric: I still want her here.

Donna: Well, if she doesn't show, and you need some company...

[Glasses clink]

Donna: ...I'm around.

Bill: So, is it?

Brooke: What?

Bill: A happy birthday.

Brooke: Yeah. It is.

Bill: Your sister really wanted to do this for you.

Brooke: Yeah.

[Laughter]

Brooke: My sweet sister. We need to protect her, Bill. We owe her that much. [Clears throat] Taylor, you're here.

Taylor: Yes, I am.

Brooke: Uh, well, there's food and drinks.

Taylor: Well, I'm not hungry, and you know I don't drink.

Bill: Taylor.

Taylor: Hello, Bill. I have something I'd like to say to you, Brooke.

Brooke: Well, I hope its "Happy Birthday."

Taylor: No. It isn't.

Donna: Excuse me, everybody! It's time to raise your glasses.

Marcus: Oh, okay.

Donna: We are celebrating three wonderful women. First and foremost, my beautiful sister, Brooke, on her birthday. Secondly, my little sis, Katie, who insisted on throwing this beautiful tribute to Brooke. I never thought that anyone could possibly love you as much as I do. But Katie has shown that we are on equal footing in love and adoration. And lastly, we are here to celebrate me.

Katie: Yeah!

[Laughter]

Donna: Well, you know, because I'm a Logan.

[Laughter]

Brooke: Oh, my.

Donna: So, everyone raise your glasses. To the Logan girls.

Together: To the Logan girls.

Brooke: Yeah, the Logan girls.

[Glasses clinking]

Hope: My mom is a woman who I have admired my whole life. Nobody gets me, nobody puts up with me and comforts me and loves me like you do. You taught me to be true to myself, true to my heart. And your children and your family always come first. I love you, Mom. Happy birthday, Mom!

Together: Happy birthday!

Brooke: I love you, too.

[Door opens]

Eric: Taylor, what's going on? You're standing there, glaring at Brooke. What is it?

Taylor: I know, Eric.

Eric: You know what?

Taylor: I know Brooke was pregnant with Bill's baby.

Eric: Who told you this?

Taylor: It doesn't matter how I know. What matters is that she tried to cover it up, take you away from me and use you so she could save herself the embarrassment of this scandal and everybody finding out that she had an affair with her sister's husband?

Eric: Taylor, this is -- this is Brooke's birthday, and you and I can talk about this tonight at home. But for now, we need to go in, and we'll smile, have a piece of cake, and then we'll leave.

Taylor: And then her daughter's in there going on and on about what a wonderful mother she is. She has done nothing but lie to her children and her entire family.

Eric: Stop this. Stop.

Taylor: She doesn't deserve any of this. She's a lie. She's a walking lie.

Eric: You got to get a hold of yourself here.

Taylor: This entire party is a joke. It is making a fool of Katie. Katie's in there treating her sister like she's some kind of saint.

Eric: Stop it. Stop it right now. Now, you need to calm down. I'm gonna go back in there. When you calm down, then you follow me. Just breathe. [Sighs]

Katie: I know we all have our favorite Brooke stories, and I have more than a few. You know, they say that no one is as close as sisters. We share so many things -- memories and laughter and tears. And you've always been there for me.

[Taylor remembering]

Brooke: You're gonna end up old, bitter, and alone. Sexuality is not a crime. You're just an uptight therapist, and you couldn't satisfy Ridge.

Taylor: You were salivating over him! That is Ridge's son!

Brooke: And I am Ridge's wife!

Taylor: Well, it didn't stop you when it came to Hope's boyfriend, did it?! [Gasps]

[Back to present]

Katie: Happy birthday. I love you.

Brooke: Thank you.

[Glasses clink]

Katie: So, does anyone else want to say anything about my beautiful sister on her birthday?

Taylor: You know what? I would like to say something. All of these toasts to Brooke, um... they're all beautiful words. Unfortunately, none of them are true. Because Brooke has kept the truth from all of you.

Eric: Taylor, don't.

Taylor: What I have to say, Eric, is truer than anything anybody else in here has said.

Katie: You know what? I don't think anyone wants to hear what you have to say.

Taylor: I'm sorry, Katie, but, yes -- yes, you do need to hear it.

Katie: Taylor, I invited you here, because I thought we could all get along. But I realize you hate my sister, so maybe you should just leave.

Taylor: No, Katie, this isn't about hate. It's about truth. I didn't come here to exact revenge on your sister. I'm here because... the Brooke you know is a lie.

Bill: I don't know where you're going with this Taylor, but it is not the time or place.

Taylor: No, this is the perfect time. Do you want to tell them, Brooke? About your ugly secret? Or should I?
