Steffy: [Sighs]

Liam: Well, it's official. We've bought out every baby boutique in Aspen.

Steffy: Oh, please! We just started. Little Cali's going to need a lot of stuff.

Liam: Wait a sec. Wait a second? "Little Cali"? Last night, you were convinced that "Little Cali" was "Little Cal."

Steffy: I know, but I keep going back and forth.

Liam: You know, we could just call Dr. Caspary and find out.

Both: No.

Steffy: Besides, buying two of everything is much more fun.

Liam: [Chuckles]

Steffy: Hey! Have I told you in the last 10 minutes how happy I am?

Liam: Well, it is our honeymoon. I think happiness is somewhat mandatory.

Steffy: Mm, well I am. We both are.

Liam: Let's see this?

Steffy: Hmm? Oh, my God.

Liam: Pink? Blue? Ok, kick twice if you're a dude.

Steffy: [Laughs]

Liam: Do you like this? Do you like that?

Brooke: If I wanted Eric, I could have him ... just like that!

Taylor: You didn't wake me when you got up this morning.

Eric: I had an early meeting.

Taylor: Well, I'm sorry if I kept you awake tossing and turning.

Eric: I'm sorry if I was the reason for that. I defended Brooke yesterday. That must have been upsetting for you.

Taylor: Yes ... but not for the reason you think.

Dr. Caspary: I wish all of my patients were this healthy.

Brooke: Why don't I feel that way?

Dr. Caspary: Well, you mentioned being a little depressed. Anything else you're dealing with? Something you're keeping inside, perhaps, that isn't easy to talk about? I can see there is. Would it help to talk about it?

Taylor: For you to stand up for Brooke? Yes, of course, I was hurt.

Eric: That's the last thing I wanted, but all these accusations ... Taylor, they have to stop. I want peace.

Taylor: So do I -- especially for Kathie, though. She's my patient, and she's already been through so much.

Eric: Then drop this, Taylor.

Taylor: I would if I believed that she was telling us everything!

Eric: You don't know that she's not.

Taylor: Eric, every instinct in me as a psychiatrist and a woman tells me that I am right about what is going on with Brooke and her sister's husband.

Eric: You're not gonna drop me, are you? Even though I've asked you to? What else did you say to Brooke after I left?

Taylor: [Sighs] It's more what she said to me.

[Birds chirping]

Steffy: Is this too cute, or what?! Mm!

Liam: Yeah ... iIf you think our son can handle all the teasing. Now this. [Chuckles] That's what I'm talking about.

Steffy: Yeah. Yeah, you're right. Little Eva's going to kick some butt in that.

Liam: Eva? What happened to Little Cal or Aspen?

Steffy: Well, you know, we have some time to figure out the perfect name.

Liam: I think it's gonna fly by. I think before you know, you'll be in that delivery room.

Steffy: What?

Liam: I don't know. It just feels more and more real every day. [Sighs]

Steffy: Yeah. Yeah, it does.

Liam: I am so excited to be a daddy. Is that weird?

Steffy: No.

Liam: Maybe we should get him a tiny little bat and a ball.

Steffy: We haven't even started Lamaze class yet, and you're already throwing grounders to Little Spence?

Liam: No, I'm just saying ... Oh, no. Oh, God, no!

Steffy: What? What?

Liam: Don't tell me I'm going to be one of those parents? You know, the kind that tells their kid what sport they're going to play and what they're going to be when they grow up.

Steffy: Well, it does run in the family.

Liam: I know, exactly -- like my grandfather and my father! What happens if I turn into a control freak?

Steffy: Liam, stop! There is no sweeter, more caring man. You're going to let history itself, and you're not going to let that happen! You don't have that control-freak gene!

Liam: Well, I'm not going to let him down either, like my grandfather did with my father. You know, that affected his entire life? I mean, he can't trust. It's hard for him to love people. I mean ... our baby's gonna be a whole new breed of Spencer. He's gonna come into this world knowing what it means to be loved and to have two parents he can trust and rely on.

Steffy: Our baby already knows. We're proving it right now!

Liam: Yeah. Yeah. [Sighs]

Brooke: There's just been so much happening, so much tension and --

Dr. Caspary: Anxiety? Disappointment? Stress?

Brooke: Yes. [Sighs] Is it hot in here?

Dr. Caspary: I don't think so.

Brooke: Oh. Oh, no. Maybe I'm not -- I'm not feeling so well. I don't need that to happen to me right now.

Dr. Caspary: How have you been sleeping?

Brooke: Uh, well, I don't doze off so easily, and it's hard for me to stay asleep. It never used to be like that

Dr. Caspary: Have you noticed any other changes?

Brooke: Like what?

Dr. Caspary: Just anything that seems different about your body?

Brooke: Actually, my skin seems really dry.

Dr. Caspary: This episode you just had -- feeling hot, feverish -- is that the first time?

Brooke: Oh, my gosh -- you're not saying -- you think it's hot flashes?

Dr. Caspary: You have a number of symptoms which could point to that. Have your cycles been regular?

Brooke: Menopause? Now? Already?

Dr. Caspary: Brooke, it's normal. You're a beautiful, sensual, vital woman. That won't change. It's not something to fear.

Brooke: No. [Sighs] I don't want this to happen. Not now. Not after everything that I've been through lately.

Dr. Caspary: The timing isn't something we can control.

Brooke: Are you sure?

Dr. Caspary: Well, you may still be perimenopausal, but the process has begun. I can some some tests, find out for sure where things stand.

Taylor: Well, Brooke basically accused me of stirring up trouble out of spite and jealousy.

Eric: Well, you made some accusations.

Taylor: Based on observations of Bill and Brooke over the last few months!

Eric: Let me ask you something. If this weren't Brooke, would you still be pursuing this so intently?

Taylor: I am very concerned about Katie -- and what would happen to her if she were to find out that she was betrayed by her sister!

Eric: No, that's not what I asked. You know how this looks to me or anybody else who knows your past with Brooke.

Taylor: What about your past with Brooke?

Eric: We were married. We have children.

Taylor: [Sighs] Well, Brooke seems to feel that there's more. She told me she could get you back if she wanted to. Is that true?

Eric: Brooke said that?

Taylor: Her exact words were, "If I wanted Eric, I could have him, just like that!" [Snaps her fingers]

Eric: And what did you say?

Taylor: I was speechless. What could I say? I knew she was just pushing back, but why would she say something like that?

Eric: Well, I can't speak for Brooke.

Taylor: But you two have a history together. I mean [Sighs] at one time, you did love her.

Eric: Years ago.

Taylor: And, obviously, you still have a soft spot for her, or you wouldn't have taken her side yesterday.

Eric: Brooke doesn't want me back.

Taylor: But, if she did?

Eric: I'm committed to you. Brooke is my past. You are my future.

Steffy: Who was at the door?

Liam: Special delivery for Mrs. William Spencer, III.

Steffy: You did not.

Liam: [Chuckles]

Steffy: Oh, my gosh ... Liam ...

Liam: So our little guy knows how cool his old lady was.

Steffy: Yeah, and what a hunk his old man is.

Liam: [Chuckles] It was a good day.

Steffy: Yeah. I still get a little emotional thinking about it.

Liam: Must be hormones.

Steffy: Or maybe because ... as difficult as my childhood was at times ... it won't be that way for our child, and I'm so excited about that. You've never made me feel like this marriage was forced on you -- and -- and I just feel -- I feel very secure. I feel so secure in your love. Thank you.

Brooke: [Sighs] Menopause? Now?

[Door opens]

Eric: Brooke. Good. I was hoping I'd run into you today. I want to apologize for what happened yesterday -- not that, uh, Taylor would want me apologizing for her, but she was way off base.

Brooke: Yes, she was.

Eric: For her to say these things about you and Katie? I mean, you and Katie are so close.

Brooke: Eric, I know how Taylor feels. She made that very clear. And it's not like I'm blameless ... I said some things I probably shouldn't have.

Eric: You felt you were being unjustly accused.

Brooke: I'm glad you understand.

Eric: Of course, I do, but what you said was wrong. As close as you and I are, and as you and I have shared over the years, a snap of your fingers is not going to get me to leave Taylor. Taylor's not a consolation prize. My feelings for her are very real, and for you to say that just to get her off balance, I won't have you talking to her that way.

Brooke: You're really protective of her.

Eric: And of you, too. I don't like what's going on around here. I mean, things have to change. Brooke? Brooke, are you all right?

Brooke: Yeah, it's just that I saw my doctor today and she told me that some things -- I mean, I really shouldn't let it bother me, but, you know, it does. [Sighs]

Eric: Brooke? What is it?

Brooke: [Chuckles softly] Menopause [Sighs]

Eric: Oh, Brooke. Come here.

Brooke: My doctor ran some tests, and she said she'll have the results tomorrow.

Eric: Mm-hmm.

Brooke: I'm not 25 any more.

Eric: Yeah? You'd never know it by looking at these. Look at that. Come on.

Brooke: I need to rethink this campaign -- maybe feature a sexier, more alluring model.

Eric: There's no one in the world who is sexier and more alluring than you are, at any age.

Brooke: You think I'm being overly emotional?

Eric: I think you were told something today that you weren't ready to hear.

Brooke: I don't think any woman is ever ready to hear that. I feel like a part of my life is ending.

Eric: You are still the incomparable Brooke Logan. The amazing, gorgeous, beautiful girl that walked into our lives. When was that? It was just yesterday, wasn't it? That's never gonna change.

Steffy: [Sighs deeply] I can't believe it's our last day here.

Liam: Yeah, well. We'll be back.

Steffy: Yes. Every anniversary. Promise me.

Liam: Yeah. Why not? Holidays, too.

Steffy: You know what? We should make this into a Spencer family tradition of our own -- Christmas in Aspen.

Liam: I suppose that Junior and I will be chopping down the tree together.

Steffy: Yes, another secret talent of yours.

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: Like paragliding.

Liam: [Chuckles]

Steffy: I know, I said that we shouldn't go, but I'm thinking I kind of want to do it!

Liam: No, I know. We will.

Steffy: Well, like, let's go. Can you arrange it?

Liam: No, absolutely not. No, it's too dangerous. You're carrying precious cargo in there! And, by the way, no more motorcycle riding until the baby's born. I'm serious!

Steffy: Excuse me!

Liam: Yeah, no, really. I'm laying down the law, woman. I - I think.

Steffy: Yeah. Yeah, I know. You're right. You're right. You know what? I don't need to go paragliding, because I feel like I've been flying since the moment we got married. Every morning, I open up my eyes, and the first thing I look at is you. And then I feel [Sniffles] our little baby inside of me. I'm just so -- I'm so happy. I'm so, so happy. [Chuckles]

Liam: I love you.

Steffy: I love you. [Laughs] [Sighs]

[Both chuckle]

Steffy: [Cries]
