Brooke: No, I think the wedding on the beach was the best one.

Ridge: Yeah, but which one?

Brooke:  That first one, of course. Well, maybe there's ano-- (Gasps) Oh!

Stephanie: Hi.

Brooke:  Hi. Stephanie. (Sighs)

Stephanie: You know what I realized? Of all your weddings, this is the first one that I've ever been in charge of.

Brooke:  Thank you. (Giggles)

Stephanie: Which means I'm in charge of the rules. I don't want any mushy tears until you are standing at that altar.

Brooke: Okay. Okay. (Giggles)

Stephanie: But look.

Brooke: I know.

Eric: And, uh, now we have the piéce de résistance-- an empty frame for today.

Brooke: Oh. Oh, you guys. (Laughs)

Eric: Yeah. (Laughs)

Katie: Oh, wow, it's nice.

Brooke: Oh, yes. Stephanie is responsible.

Together: Really?

Katie: (Laughs)

Stephanie: Well, uh, yes, I am, actually, and I guess I never got to throw one of these for you, because you were the one that wanted to marry my husband.

Donna: Ha ha.

Eric: Oh, we have champagne. Anybody for champagne?

Stephanie: Ah.

Donna: Champagne for me, yes, absolutely!

Eric: Yes.

Katie: Sparkling water for me. I-I have to be good.

Ridge: I'll get you one.

Brooke: Thank you.

Ridge: Okay.

Eric: Right.

Stephanie: Hope, how are you?

Hope: Oh, um, better.

Stephanie: Good

Hope: Yeah, just excited for Mom.

Brooke: Honey, I'm so glad you could be here.

Hope: Me, too. Uh, are we the first to arrive?

Stephanie: Well, yeah.

Pam: No, you're wrong. It was 12--an even dozen. I'm sure of it.

Eric: No, they have only been married six times. Am I right, Brooke?

Brooke: (Scoffs) Uh, something like that.

Stephanie: Um, let--come on, guys.

Thorne: I told you, and you need to listen to me more.

Hope: (Laughs) Oh, God.

Pam: You're always saying that it's such--if you want to add numbers in this family..

(Liam walks in and stares at Hope just as Steffy descends the stairs)

Donna: Dad just called from Dallas. He wishes he could be here.

Katie: Oh.

Brooke: I know. I talked to him.

Katie: What about R.J.?

Be: Oh, he can't be here. He's doing those advanced placement tests.

Donna: Oh, well, you know, he has been to a few of these, and who knows -- (Laughs)

Brooke: No, no, no. This is my last.

Donna: Right.

Katie: Let's just deal with this wedding that's happening today.

Brooke: Okay. (Laughs) Okay, but before we get started, I just want to thank you for indulging me.

Katie: Oh, of course. We're thrilled do be here.

Brooke: Well, it's not like it's my first wedding, you know.

Katie: It's a beautiful love story.

Hope: They're right, Mom. It makes you realize that some things really do work out no matter what.

Brooke: Yes, they do, sweetie.

Hope: I'm talking about you and Ridge.

Katie: Yes, but it applies to all of us-- your mother and Donna and me and you, Hope. We've all had our challenges, but the Logan women are blessed with a very unique trait.

Donna: Yeah. We're unforgettable.

Brooke: (Laughs)

Katie: (Laughs)

Donna: You just remember that, sweetheart.

Hope: Okay.

Steffy: Thank you.

Liam: Hey.

Steffy: Hey.

Liam: Oh, um, last night. (Chuckles) Thank you.

Steffy: For not fulfilling my own dreams?

Liam: (Laughs) I was gonna say looking out for me.

Steffy: Oh.

Liam: Um, but, um, thank you.

Steffy: Any time.

Rick: What's with her hair?

Ridge: It's supposed to be a Mayan headdress.

Rick: Yeah, that was my second guess.

Bill: Quite a legacy, Ridge.

Ridge: Yeah, we've had our moments.

Bill: Yes, you certainly have, and now your daughter's having one and finally. Couldn't be more pleased.

Ridge: Liam looks different.

Bill: He's earned his stripes the last couple of days, becoming a man.

Ridge: Well, let's hope that he's learned something about commitment.

(Indistinct conversations)

Stephanie: Hard to believe that I'm throwing you and Brooke a wedding. (laughs)

Ridge: (Laughs) I gotta ask. Why did you do it?

Stephanie: Well, why not? Oh. (Scoffs) God, we've spent so many years fighting, you know? And then when I got sick, who in the world would have ever thought that the one person that wouldn't let me give up would be Brooke? So I started seeing her for who she is and what she is, not what I thought she was...

Ridge: Hmm.

Stephanie: Kind of like you do-- maybe through your eyes. She's a really lovely, kind, and determined, weepy girl. (Laughs)

Ridge: Now, now.

Stephanie: Now, now, but a beautiful woman. So I thought, oh, what the hell? (Sighs) Why not throw her a wedding?

Ridge: You're amazing, both of you.

Stephanie: (Sighs) You are, too. I'm very proud of you. You've raised a wonderful family. You've overcome a lot of challenges. (Sighs) I'm very proud of you.

Ridge: Thank you.

Thomas: Good to see Steffy smiling again.

Rick: Yeah. Yeah. Those two belong together.

Thomas: Don't let your sister hear you say that.

Rick: Hope's better off.

Thomas: You know she's still in love with Liam.

Rick:  Break-ups suck. We both know that, especially when you're alone, but she's not, is she?

Thomas: I'm trying to help her along.

Rick:  You've been doing more than that from what I can see.

Thomas: Rick, I'm still dating Caroline. I know that's the last thing you want to hear, but--

Rick: Hey, I just want my sister to pull through, that's it.

Thomas: But Caroline became available in the process, that would--

Rick: Well, it sounds like a perfect end to the story to me.

Thomas: Maybe for you.

Rick: Okay. I know that you want my sister, okay? You love her. Go for it.

Thomas: (Sighs)

(Indistinct conversation)

Caroline: Hey.

Steffy: Hi.

Caroline: So things are starting to look up.

Steffy: Oh, yeah, you could say that. How about for you?

Caroline: (Sighs) Well, I have a little problem on my hands now that Hope is available.

Steffy: Yeah. You, uh, want some advice?

Caroline: Mm, thank you, but I know what I have to do. Have you seen Hope?

Steffy: Actually, yes, she's upstairs with her mom.

Caroline: Oh.

Steffy: Mm-hm.

Caroline: Oh, well, I can wait.

Katie: All right.

Brooke: Okay. Okay. I think I'm good. I'm good.

Katie: Perfect, you're a beautiful bride again.

Brooke: Yeah. (Laughs)

Donna: You do play the part well.

Brooke: Well, I couldn't play it at all without the two of you. Thank you.

Donna: Aw.

Katie: It's always the first time for you, isn't it?

Brooke: (Sighs) Yes, I'm just an incurable romantic.

Katie: (Chuckles)

Donna: Well, I hope they never find a cure for that, because this world needs people like you.

Brooke: Mm.

Donna: Mm.

Katie: Oh, um... uh, Donna, why don't we, uh, wait downstairs.

Donna: Oh, okay. All right.

Brooke: Oh.

Donna: (Giggles)

Katie: (Giggles)

Hope: (Sighs) I'm sorry that I'm such a downer.

Brooke: Oh.

Hope: I--really, really don't want to ruin your beautiful day.

Brooke: Honey, It's okay, you're not.

Hope: It's just-you know, it--it's hard to see Liam with Steffy.

Brooke: I know.

Hope: (Sighs) But that is not what today is about at all, so let me help you into your dress.

Brooke: Okay.

Hope: Okay. (Sighs)

(Knock on door)

Brooke: Come in.

Steffy: Hey, uh, am I interrupting?

Brooke:  What do you need, Steffy? (Sighs)

Steffy: Actually, I-I wanted a-a moment alone with you.

Hope: It's fine. Um, I'll be downstairs.

Brooke: Okay.

Hope: Okay.

Brooke: So... (Sighs) You and Liam, you're both here?

Steffy: We didn't come here together, Brooke. Liam's with his family and my father's getting married today, so of course, I'd be here. But I'll leave if you want me to.

(String quartet plays)

Rick: Well, you're part Spencer, but we're not gonna hold that against you.

Katie: Ha ha.

Rick: (Chuckles)

Dayzee: Hi. Are we late?

Stephanie: Hi. Of course, you're late. You're always late.

Dayzee: (Groans) Sorry.

Marcus: It's her fault.

Stephanie: Look at you.

Dayzee: The house looks beautiful, though.

Stephanie: Oh, Well, I've had a little practice recently, haven't I?

Dayzee: You have.

Marcus: Yes, you have.

Stephanie: I know. Listen. There's wonderful champagne. I'll go get you some, cause we're gonna start soon.

Dayzee: Okay.

Marcus: Okay. That means you.

Dayzee: (Laughs) Wow, the last time we were in this room, we were getting married.

Caroline: Hey.

Hope: Hi.

Caroline: Can I have a word with you for a second?

Hope: Yeah, sure.

Caroline: Um, I know that you've been going through a really tough time, and I'm really sorry. But Thomas and I are dating..

Hope: (Sighs)

Caroline: And he's not available.

Hope: I know. Trust me. I'm not looking to get a relationship or anything I mean, especially so soon.

Caroline: And I know that you guys are really close.

Hope: Yeah, we are, but, Caroline, I promise, I had no idea that Thomas was going to do that. I really didn't. I mean's just-- he's really impulsive. But I mean, if you have a problem with it, I think that you should talk to Thomas about it, okay? And trust me, Thomas and I are just friends.

Caroline: Thanks.

Hope: All right.

Thorne: Listen, I might have to duck out of here a little early so congratulations, okay? Hopefully this will be the last.

Ridge: Yeah. Thanks and, uh... (Sighs) Say "Hi" to Taylor for me.

Thorne: (Chuckles) Okay.

Hope:  Hey. (Sighs)

Thomas: Hey.

Hope: You doing a reading?

Thomas: Mm, no, it's too old school.

Hope: What are you gonna say?

Thomas:  Not to worry, I'll come up with something.

Hope: Yeah, kind of like you did the other day at the press conference?

Thomas: Mm.

Hope: Thomas, did you plan that kiss?

Thomas: No. But it was brilliant, wasn't it?

Hope: Uh well, I mean, I-I kind of wish I'd known about it.

Thomas: Well, how was it?

Hope: Men.

Thomas: She loved it.

Rick: For the lady.

Caroline: Oh, no, not before the wedding.

Rick: Oh, come on. Live dangerously.

Caroline: Thanks. (Laughs) Does anything ever get to you?

Rick: I'm looking at her.

Caroline: No, I mean, annoy you.

Rick: You mean, the way that Hope annoys you when she's talking to Thomas?

Caroline: I had a talk with your sister.

Rick: She's not trying to steal your boyfriend like--

Caroline: You're trying to steal his girlfriend?

Rick: Wow, you make it sound like it's a felony.

Caroline: (Chuckles) Well, then what would you call it?

Rick: I'd call it... (Sighs) Having a choice, a viable alternative. You know, it's good to have options, you know?

Caroline: Oh, you're definitely a Forrester.

Rick: To options and a guy who won't let you down.

(Glasses clink)

Brooke: Your father wants his children there.

Steffy: Yeah, but this is your day, and I don't want to be cloud over it.

Brooke: My husband is your father, and I want you here.  So is there anything going on with you and Liam?

Steffy: You know what, no. Uh.. today is--it's not about me or Liam or Hope. It's about you and my father.  It's obvious, Brooke. It's obvious what you bring into my father's life. And he loves you. You know, I never really, um, knew what that meant, but now I do. I see it in both of you.

(Knock on door)

Katie: Hey. I think they're ready for you. Everything okay?

Brooke: Everything's fine. I'll see you two downstairs.

Steffy:  Yeah. Uh, Congratulations.

Stephanie: Good to go in here?

Brooke: Just about. (Sighs)

Stephanie: Oh, okay. I'll give you a hand with that dress.

Brooke: No, no, no. I'm fine, really.

Stephanie: Don't be silly. Every bride needs to have a hand getting into the dress. As for getting out of the dress, I'll leave that to my son.

Brooke: (Laughs) Oh, no. (Laughs)

Stephanie: (Laughs)

Brooke: Uh, I just want to tell you. I'm very thankful for everything you've done.

Stephanie:  Welcome. Now don't make a habit of too many "Thank you's."

Brooke: I just didn't expect... to have so much...

Stephanie: This much love? Neither did I.

Brooke: We've been through so much together.

Stephanie: (Inhales sharply) Let's forget most of it.

Brooke: (Laughs)

Stephanie: (Laughs)

Brooke: It did bring us here, though.

Stephanie: I suppose it did. Let's get that dress on you.

Brooke: Okay. Okay.

Stephanie: Come on.

(Indistinct conversations)

Liam: You look, um.. wow.

Hope: So do you. You have a new, um,  wardrobe?

Liam: Yeah, well change is good, right?

Hope: I'll keep that in mind.

Liam: Except you haven't changed at all. You'll always be beautiful.

(String quartet plays Wagner's "Bridal Chorus from 'Lohengrin")

Hope: Um, you should go sit down.

Liam: Yeah.

(Brooke walks down the stairs as everyone smiles)

Ridge: (Remembers previous weddings with Brooke as she walks down the aisle and mouths the words "I love you")
