Taylor: Steffy?

Steffy: Hey, mom. (Sighs)

Taylor: You looked like were about a million miles away.

Steffy: no, just in Malibu-- thinking about last night.

Taylor: Don't read too much into that just because hope wasn't there.

Steffy: You know, Liam was all alone. Hope stood him up.

Taylor: I know. I know.

Steffy: And... (Sighs) we kissed.

Bill: I've been looking all over for you. I was just sending you a text. You delayed printing?

Liam: Yeah, like, an hour, tops. I've got Jarrett working on revisions.

Bill: Well, he better work fast. So how did it go last night fending off the press?

Liam: What?

Bill: The press. You went to dinner with hope, right?

Liam: Oh. Oh. Yeah. No, I didn't have to deal with reporters. Hope didn't show up actually. You'll be pleased to know I ended up spending that time with Steffy instead.

Hope: Thank you for meeting me. (Sighs)

Amber: Of course. I was glad to get your text. So, um, are you okay? Do you need any more?

Hope: No.

Amber: Okay.

Hope: Amber, I want to apologize to you.

Amber: (Chuckles) okay. About what?

Hope: I want to apologize for letting you think that I could support you.

Amber: Uh, oh, what?

Hope: Going to bat for you with my mom, I'm not gonna do that again. You are not good for Rick, and you are certainly not good for me.

Amber: (Sighs) did--did I, like, do something wrong or something?

Hope: No, this is my fault. When you told me that those pills were from you, I should have turned the other way instead of asking for more.

Amber: Well, I mean, if this is about the pills, I was just trying to help you.

Hope: Maybe that's true. I take full responsibility. I'm the one who asked for more. But that should have been for my doctor to decide, not you.

Taylor: Liam kissed you?

Steffy: Well, it was the other way around, but still.

Taylor: But he didn't protest.

Steffy: Exactly.

Taylor: Oh, my goodness. So you thought something like this might happen.

Steffy: Well, just like imagine if I agreed to an annulment. Hope and Liam, they-- they would be married right now. You know, as the disappointment settles in for him, well, maybe--

Taylor: So-- so what's the deal? Why didn't hope call? She didn't try to explain why she wasn't showing up?

Steffy: Mom, you know hope. And plus this couldn't be better timing. Aspen.

Taylor: Oh, fashion week.

Steffy: Yes. Liam is gonna be there covering the event for Spencer, and I'm gonna be there researching my ski line.

Taylor: And one thing leads to another.

Steffy: Mm-hmm. In aspen, you know, where it all began. (Inhales sharply) all the memories. Mom, this is it. This will bring me and Liam back together.

Bill: Steffy kissed you?

Liam: I mean, see, this-- right here, this is why I don't tell you things, because you're gonna get ideas in your head.

Bill: Oh, come on. It's happening again. You know it's happening again. Steffy's there for you when hope isn't.

Liam: What--what? Because hope fell asleep?

Bill: Fell asleep? Oh, for god sake.

Liam: Yeah, dad, she had a panic attack, okay? She took one of her pills and... you know.

Bill: Yeah, I see.

Liam: (Sighs) okay, I know how you think, all right? And I know you've got this idea in your head that--that-- that seeing a psychiatrist is like a sign of weakness or something. Well, it's not, okay, and neither is taking medication when you need it-- I mean, proper medication. Anyway, we takeout I it's not an issue anymore. Hope is done with the pills.

Bill: But is she done with the crazy?

Hope: Amber, making me think that those pills were from my doctor was foolish and really dangerous.

Amber: (Sighs) I-I-I knew you were in a bad place, and you needed some help so--

Hope: And you lied, because that's what you do.

Amber: (Voice breaking) I'm sorry.

Hope: I'm not mad. I just... I need you to know that I cannot be your advocate anymore-- not for my mom, not--not for anybody.

Amber: Okay.

Hope: Amber, I want you to be careful. I mean, if you're using that web site for yourself--

Amber: No, no. I'm just--

Hope: Okay, good. Because just--I don't feel like you can trust a web site that's going to sell you medication without a prescription. Amber, I don't know what was in those pills. I don't even know if it's the same thing my doctor was giving me.

Amber: Well, you know, they were generic, you know. But I mean, they were the same thing, I'm sure.

Hope: No, I-I don't know about that, amber. I felt really... weird. I-I was shaky. I-I was really thirsty. I was drowsy, really light-headed.

Amber: Well, you know, side effects are common. I'm sure your doctor would agree. But... you're right. Thank you. I get it. I-I won't use that site anymore.

Hope: Good.

Amber: So did you get a new prescription or...

Hope: No. I'm not taking those pills anymore. I am going to deal... (Sighs) with this stress... (Sighs) on my own. And I have Liam. He's all the support that I need.

Amber: I'm glad you have Liam to help you get through this, because he loves you so much. And--and the two of you, you're--you're made for each other... (Sighs) just like your brother and me.

Hope: (Sighs) amber.

Amber: No, you know when someone is right for you. You can feel it.

Hope: I also know when someone is completely wrong.

Amber: Well--

Hope: I'm sorry, amber, but I do not want you back with Rick.

Amber: Is it because of those pills, huh? Is that what it is? I was just trying to help you. I was just--

Hope: By giving me drugs?

Amber: Well, you needed them. You said you needed them, you know, to help you feel strong, to help you get over your anxiety.

Hope: No, I needed something safe from my doctor.

Amber: Okay whatever. But they worked, right?

Hope: I'll admit, yeah, they helped me relax, but not in a good way. Why would I take a pill from some shady web site when all I have to do is look at the man I love, feel his arms around me. I'm sorry, amber. I know you're trying to help, but... I am not taking those pills anymore. I don't want anything to do with them or you ever again.

Amber: (Sighs)

Liam: They're great fixes, Jarrett. No, no, no, no, no. We're--we're--we're ready to go. Yeah, we're good. I-I'm gonna send them the e-mail now. Yeah, okay, thanks. Ready for print.

Bill: It's about time.

Liam: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Bill: Listen, uh... (Sighs) about hope, maybe she needs to get away, get out of the spotlight.

Liam: Agreed.

Bill: Send her to a spa for an extended stay.

Liam: Actually, I was, um... thinking more along the lines of somewhere with me. I'm taking her to aspen.

Bill: What, are you crazy? I thought you wanted to get her away from the press. It's gonna be swarming.

Liam: Yeah, at the event, but not at your house where she can relax, enjoy the scenery.

Taylor: And here I thought you'd want to spend a little time with Steffy.

Bill: Steffy's gonna be there?

Taylor: I just came from talking to her, Liam. She loves you so much. I know she always will. Despite the fact that you're living with hope, Steffy is still your wife.

Steffy: Oh. I, uh... (Sighs) was just leaving this for Rick. Missed you at bikini last night.

Hope: Hmm. I'm sure you did.

Steffy: Yeah, Liam seemed really concerned when you didn't show. I mean, what happened?

Hope: I've explained it all to him.

Steffy: Okay. You know, Liam's been really worried about you-- the whole incident at the pool, your little argument. It's gotta be hard to take-- your girlfriend having these crazy mood swings.

Hope: We're working through all that.

Steffy: Good. I hear you're making an effort at least. Hey, don't get all stressed out on my account. It's good that you're getting help.

Hope: Steffy, are you trying to hint at something?

Steffy: I know you're seeing a psychiatrist. You need a little extra oomph to get you through the day, huh? But don't worry. It's no big deal. Your secret's safe with me. Liam could see what he's walking away from.

Bill: Or walking to. I want to ask you a question professionally.

Taylor: Sure.

Bill: Antianxiety meds... (Sighs) pretty common for you to prescribe them?

Taylor: In times of stress, yeah. It can be very beneficial for someone. It depends on the patient and the circumstances.

Bill: (Inhales sharply)

Taylor: Do you want...

Bill: (Sighs)

Taylor: To make an appointment?

Bill: What? Appoint--oh, me? No. It's not about me. I'm perfect. You know that. Hope, on the other hand-- nuts, cuckoo, on the verge of cracking and dragging my son down with her.

Taylor: This is exactly what your son wanted-- to find out how things would be with hope, and so if he's unhappy--

Bill: Walking on eggshells for her, the--the--the-- this pill-popping woman who keeps running to her shrink every other second.

Taylor: Well, that's not all such a bad thing.

Bill: I don't want him spending one more moment with Hope. She has never really made him happy, and I don't even know why he thinks it's possible.

Taylor: Well, it's true. He was much happier with Steffy.

Bill: Well, they were great together. And she wasn't freaking out every time a reporter looked at her sideways.

Taylor: Well, I-I don't want to encourage the way you're talking about hope's issues. I already know what you believe about therapy and what it says about other people who seek it.

Bill: Right, but...

Taylor: But I don't disagree with you. Liam was in a much better place when he was with Steffy. It's just that the way-- the way I would say it is that if hope doesn't get some help, if she doesn't get a handle on her emotional issues, she has no business making a marriage commitment. Things won't get any better. It will only get worse. And I wouldn't wish that on Liam.

Bill: You know what? I want hope to get the help she needs in a nice padded facility far away from my son. He will go running back to Steffy so fast.

Taylor: Well, all three of them would be much better off. Look, I want you to know that I-I really do appreciate what your son has brought to Steffy's life, and I want to see them together. I just--I don't know how.

Hope: It's not a secret. I've been seeing a psychiatrist. So what?

Steffy: You know, my mom's a shrink. I don't find fault in anyone needing professional help-- you know, a-a little medication--

Hope: Yeah, I don't know what you've heard about that, Steffy, but, um, I'm not taking pills anymore.

Steffy: Oh, really? Are they--are they not working for you? 'Cause maybe you just need to talk to your doctor.

Hope: No, I just don't need them.

Steffy: Uh-huh. So you're just over your anxiety just like that?

Hope: No. I have Liam. He is all the support that I need. Yeah, this is a very difficult time for me, because someone is making it so I can't marry the man that I love. But I don't need pills to get me through it. Liam gets me through it. So bring on the stress, Steffy. Give me all you've got. I really don't care. Liam and I are moving on with our lives, and every day is another day closer to your divorce being final.

Hope: The tie between you two is all but gone, and thinking about that just helps my stress float away.

Steffy: Our marriage will be over soon... maybe. But don't kid yourself. That tie... will always be there.

Liam: Hey, hope, I, uh... Steffy.

Hope: Hi.

Steffy: Hi.

Liam: Hi.

Hope: What's going on?

Liam: Are you okay?

Hope: Uh-huh. I'm fine.

Liam: Um, okay, I can come back later if you're--if you're busy.

Steffy: No, I was-- I'm--I'm just running out. It was, uh, good seeing you last night.

Liam: You, too.

Steffy: I'll see you in Aspen.

Liam: Yeah, um... hope and me both.

Hope: What?

Steffy: Wait, what?

Liam: It's what I came here to ask you. Do you want to come?

Hope: I don't know. I mean--

Liam: Come with me.

Hope: There will be so much press. I don't know if I can handle all the questions and accusations and--

Liam: Don't worry about that.

Hope: My line can't afford any more bad press right now.

Liam: You leave that to me. I've got a plan.

Steffy: Sounds like we'll all be there together again. This should be fun.

Bill: They're all going to aspen-- Steffy, Liam, and the crackpot.

Taylor: What are you thinking, bill

Bill: Sometimes in life, you just need a nudge.

Bill: Aspen's the key. (Sighs) it worked before. It'll work again

Hope: So what's the plan? I don't want to go to aspen and have to face a bunch of reporters.

Liam: You won't.

Hope: It's fashion week.

Liam: We'll stay at my dad's place. It's tucked away in the woods, secluded, romantic. Nobody will ever see us. I'll cover fashion week. You don't have to go with me. You don't even have to leave the house. I mean, you've been so bombarded left and right by reporters here in L.A. It's--it's such a strain on you.

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: You deserve a break. So let's get out of here. Come with me.

Hope: Our own private retreat, just the two of us. (Sighs) that is exactly what I need. Yes. (Giggles

Liam: (Chuckles)

Hope: Mm.

Ramona: "Top designers and celebrities from all around the world have gathered in aspen, Colorado, to see and be seen in this glamorous mountain own.

Oliver: You're not getting nervous...

Ramona: (Sighs)

Oliver: Broadcasting aspen fashion week all around the world for Spencer television?

Ramona: Thanks for your vote of confidence.

Oliver: You better get comfortable.

(Cell phone rings)

Oliver: This broadcast tent is gonna be our new home for the next couple days. (Ring)

Ramona: Are you gonna answer that?

Oliver: Eh, let it ring.

Ramona: Could be a girlfriend.

Ramona: Who's "god"?

Oliver: Hello.

Bill: Oliver, bill Spencer.

Oliver: Yes, I know, sir.

Bill: I've got another job for you.

Oliver: Sure, anything.

Bill: Liam will be out there for fashion week he's ringing his girlfriend hope Logan. Now I'm telling you this because I trust you, Oliver, and I know you're capable of quietly fixing a problem. Hope's a problem.

Hope: You're right, Liam. This trip will be great for us. Just you and me, no stress.

Liam: That's right.

Hope: Liam, I'm so excited. (Giggles)

Liam: (Chuckles)

Hope: (Giggles) (inhales sharply) mm. (Chuckles)

Oliver: Mr. Spencer, this plan makes me very uncomfortable.

Bill: Really? Because I'm extremely comfortable when it comes to firing people.

Oliver: Oh, no. Uh, I'll do it.

Bill: No wimping out on me.

Oliver: I understand.

Bill: I've had enough oft wacko dragging my son into her pill-popping abyss.

Ramona: What did he say?
