Stephanie: I'm not sure we put out the cocktail napkins.

Woman: Oh.

Stephanie: For the eggnog? Good. Uh, don't forget to bring it out. It's my husband's, and it's... (whispers) it's awful, but don't tell him I said that. I guess we could, um, we could probably start putting the hors d'oeuvres out now.

Woman: Sure.

Stephanie: Thanks.

Dayzee: Oh, gosh. She is something, isn't she?

Eric: Yes, she is. I don't know where she gets the energy.

Dayzee: (Scoffs) You should have seen her at the rescue mission-- I mean, making sure that everybody had turkey and all of the fixings. I tried to get her to take a break, but she wouldn't, not until every person was fed.

Eric: Now look at her now. Here she is doing her favorite thing-- telling everybody what to do.

Stephanie: I heard that.

Eric: Yeah, I was just saying how you love Thanksgiving. It's your favorite holiday.

Stephanie: It is, especially this year.

Dayzee: Yay.

Stephanie: Well, you know, I have a lot to be grateful for. I have a wonderful friend... (Chuckles) and a really handsome fellow who puts up with me still after all these years.

Eric: (Clears throat)

Dayzee: That's you.

Stephanie: That's you.

Eric: Oh, yeah. Yeah.

Dayzee: (Giggles)

Stephanie: So I... (Sighs) I have a lot to be grateful for, especially on a day like today.

Dayzee: That's right.

Stephanie: Give me a hug. (Laughs)

Dayzee: Okay. (Giggles)

Hope: R.J. is dressed and waiting downstairs.

Brooke: Mm-hmm.

Hope: How long before Ridge is ready?

Brooke: Ridge? (Scoffs) He's in the shower. You know, maybe I should call Stephanie and tell her that we're running a little bit late.

Hope: Or we could skip the whole thing... or I could, at least.

Brooke: What? You don't mean that. It's Thanksgiving.

Hope: I know. I know. I know. It's... the thought of having to see Steffy hanging all over Liam and having to be all smiles across the table after everything she's done-- it... it's just enough to turn my stomach.

Liam: So Stephanie and Eric's or my dad's-- which invitation do we accept?

Steffy: Well, I thought we decided this yesterday. What, second thoughts?

Liam: Well, I mean, your dad would be awfully disappointed if we didn't spend our first Thanksgiving with your family. And you don't want to get me in trouble with my new father-in-law, do you?

Steffy: Well...

Liam: Huh? Do you?

Steffy: Maybe we should have our own celebration here.

Liam: Would you feel that way if Hope wasn't gonna be there?

Marcus: It's Nouveau Beaujolais. It's a fruity wine from the gamay grape.

Eric: That's very impressive, actually, yeah.

Marcus: Mm-hmm.

Stephanie: Wow, that--well, thank you for bringing it.

Marcus: Oh, yeah, you're welcome. Okay, okay. I memorized the label.

Eric: Yeah.

Marcus: Yeah, but I had you guys fooled.

Stephanie: No.

Eric: You didn't have us fooled.

Marcus: Yes, I did. I so did.

Stephanie: No, you didn't.

(Voices overlapping)

Thorne: Happy Thanksgiving.

Stephanie: Hi, honey! Happy Thanksgiving to you. Mwah! Oh, I'm so happy you're here.

Eric: Where's my granddaughter?

Thorne: She stopped to check out Mom's fall garden, which is spectacular.

Stephanie: Oh, honey, thanks.

Thorne: I have a surprise.

Stephanie: Okay.

Thorne: (Whispering indistinctly)

Taylor: Hello, Stephanie. Hello, Eric.

Eric: Taylor. Thomas.

Stephanie: Hi, Tom.

Thomas: Hi.

Stephanie: Taylor, I'm so happy that you're here.

Thorne: So where's the turkey--I mean, Ridge?

Stephanie: Oh.

Eric: Had to be one of those.

Hope: Um, I'm gonna go check on R.J.

Ridge: Hope, wait I know there's been some tension between us lately, and I'm sorry for that. But I meant what I said the other day. However Steffy and Liam's marriage happened, they're husband and wife now.

Hope: Mm-hmm. And I need to respect that. I got it.

Ridge: Good, because I expect you and Steffy to get along for Thanksgiving dinner. Sweetheart, I believe if you make the effort, Steffy will do the same.

Steffy: Hmm, let's see. Hope shooting daggers at me across my grandfather's table or Katie shooting machetes at me across your dad's.

Liam: (Scoffs)

Steffy: Let me think about that for a second. (Inhales sharply) Hmm.

Liam: But your dad did make it clear that he wants you to be there with your family. If we don't show up, he will murder me with a pair of shears.

Steffy: (Laughs) Well, yeah, Hope might convince herself that we're staying away on her account. Well, we can't have her thinking that, can we?

Dayzee: (Giggling)

Marcus: (Chuckles) Hey.

(Voices overlapping)

(Glasses clink)

(Indistinct conversations)

Eric: So how's Sally?

Stephanie: She's great.

Eric: (Chuckles)

Stephanie: I really miss her.

Eric: Yeah, I miss her, too.

Stephanie: I don't miss Sally and that gang coming over and stealing all your designs all the time.

Eric: No, I don't miss that.

(Door opens)

Eric: Oh, Pam's here.

Stephanie: (Whispering) Oh, God, that doesn't look like pumpkin pie.

Eric: (Whispering) No, it doesn't.

Stephanie: (Normal voice) Honey, I'm so happy you're here.

Pam: Yeah. Well, I brought my lemon bars.

Stephanie: Ah.

Pam: Tripled the recipe. Plenty for everybody.

Stephanie: Oh.

Pam: Thanksgiving wouldn't be Thanksgiving without them, would they, Eric?

Eric: No, you're right, Pam. Thank you.

Liam: Ready?

Steffy: You know what? Actually, um... I think I'm coming down with something.

Liam: Oh, yeah?

Steffy: Yeah.

Liam: Well, you don't feel hot. You just look really hot.

Steffy: (Laughs)

Liam: (Laughs)

Steffy: Well, you know, wouldn't you rather spend Thanksgiving here, just the two of us? I promise I'll make it worth your while. What do you say, Pilgrim?

Liam: (Laughs)

Steffy: (Laughs) Mm

Pam: I told you I was bringing my lemon bars. Why on earth would you tell the caterers to bring pumpkin pie?

Stephanie: Sweetheart, sweetheart, 'cause pumpkin pie's traditional on Thanksgiving.

Pam: Well, I don't--

Ridge: Got dibs on the drumstick. Dibs on the drumstick.

Stephanie: Oh, lord, how many times have I heard that one? Hi, honey.

Ridge: Hey, Mom. How are you doing?

Stephanie: Happy, Happy Thanksgiving, Brooke.

Brooke: Oh, yes, mwah, it is. It really is. Oh.

Ridge: Thank you.

Stephanie: Come on in. Let's go. Everybody's here. Look who's here.

Ridge: Hey, everybody.

Eric: Hey. Hi.

Taylor: Where's Hope and R.J.?

Ridge: Uh, R.J. apparently ran into Aly out in the garden. They'll be in soon. Are we okay?

Eric: You need--you need some eggnog, right?

Ridge: We do. We do.

(Voices overlapping)

(Indistinct conversations)

Thomas: Hey.

Hope: Hi. (Sighs)

Thomas: You look beautiful.

Hope: Oh, thanks.

Thomas: Happy Thanksgiving.

Hope: Yeah, you, too.

Thomas: Um... they're not here, if that's who you're looking for-- Steffy and Liam.

Hope: Are-- are they not coming?

Thomas: Well, it might be better if they didn't. Hope, that's what really matters to me. Let's get you through this day.

Hope: Okay. (Sighs)

Thomas: (Sighs) Wow.

Rick: Hey, Mom, that was "Budge." She's still on duty at the hospital. She's not gonna make dinner. They're hoping to make it here by dessert.

Brooke: Oh. I was afraid that might happen.

Pam: I can't believe you, Steph-- disrespecting my lemon bar like that and on Thanksgiving.

Stephanie: I did not disrespect your lemon bars. I love them. Everybody loves them. But I just thought, for a change...

Pam: (Scoffs) God.

Thomas: Strained turkey?

Marcus: Yes.

Thomas: (Laughs)

Marcus: I know it sounds a little crazy, but my little Rosey just gobbled it right on up.

Dayzee: Oh, gosh. Pun intended.

Thomas: Right.

Marcus: Look, anyway, e-enough about me and Rosey and her first "T" day with her daddy. What's going on with you two, huh? Is my man Tom finally taking your mind off, uh, you know who?

Ridge: Hey, Doc.

Taylor: Mm.

Ridge: You and my brother seem to be getting pretty cozy. Is there anything you want to tell me?

(Indistinct conversations)

(Glasses clink)

Rick: She's still in love with Liam. You know, Ridge wants her to give up and just accept Liam's marriage.

Thomas: (Sighs)

Rick: After how that wedding happened and everything that Steffy did, I'm telling my sister to hang in there and keep fighting the good fight. You know what, Tom? I'm not the only one that feels that way. So does my mom.

Brooke: Okay, bye. See you. (Chuckles)

Hope: Mom, they'd be here right now if they were coming, right? They'd be here. I mean, I know Steffy's all about making an entrance, but come on.

Brooke: Honey, stop. Stop worrying about Steffy. I'm concerned about you.

Hope: Mm.

Brooke: I know Ridge has taken a hard line with you lately...

Hope: (Scoffs)

Brooke: But I've tried talking to him about it.

Hope: Don't, okay? Don't. Don't worry about it. The last thing I want to do is cause a problem between you and your husband.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Hope: But maybe he's right. Maybe moving on is the only way.

(Indistinct conversations)

Stephanie: There's something else going on here besides these lemon bars.

Pam: (Sighs)

Stephanie: I--you--you-- somehow you feel that I am responsible for your engagement falling apart.

Pam: I know you are.

Hope: Hey.

Thomas: You all right?

Hope: Mm-hmm. (Sighs) Hey, did I ever thank you for the pizza the other night? I did?

Thomas: Yeah.

Hope: Okay. I was in a really lousy mood...

Thomas: (Laughs)

Hope: And just thank you for being so sweet, for pulling me out of my funk again, just like you did at Dayzee's for Veteran's Day.

Thomas: Yeah. One of my better surprises.

Hope: You got any more?

Thomas: You're not gonna believe where I'm gonna take you next.

Pam: I finally found happiness with a man of my own, but you couldn't be bothered. Well, now it's all gone, and I'm alone, desperate for companionship, and you don't even want to know how desperate.

Stephanie: Pam, please, don't leave. Come on, honey. It's Thanksgiving.

Pam: Oh, stuff it, Steph! And I don't mean the turkey.  Excuse me.

Liam: Oh.

Steffy: Whoa. What was that all about?

Stephanie: Don't even ask, please.

Steffy: Okay. Hey.

Ridge: Hey, sweetheart. I was beginning to wonder.

Steffy: Oh, happy Thanksgiving.

Ridge: You, too.

Steffy: So sorry we're late. Uh, actually, we got a-a bottle of wine, yeah.

Liam: Yeah. Uh, I hope everyone likes Nouveau Beaujolais.

Taylor: I thought I heard you in here.

Steffy: Hi.

Taylor: Where have you been? We've been waiting forever. We were gonna send out a search party.

Steffy: Oh, you know me. I love to make an entrance.

Liam: Guess that means I do, too.

Steffy: Yeah. Yeah, come on.

Taylor: Okay.

Liam: Excuse us.

Steffy: Hey, big brother. I was gonna wish you a happy Thanksgiving, but I get the feeling it already is.

Steffy:  Sweet.

Taylor: Aw. So sweet.

Steffy: Yeah, just Aspen was amazing. (Speaks indistinctly) We really needed it very much.

Taylor: (Speaking indistinctly)

Ridge: They're both here tonight...

Liam: Uh--

Ridge: Both women you love. But... you made a commitment. So no matter what happens or what your feelings for Hope happen to be, do not let Steffy down.

Liam: (Sighs)

Thomas: Mm. Whoa. Sorry. What was that for?

Steffy: For sticking with our pact-- you know, sweep Hope and Liam off their feet.

Thomas: (Sighs)

Steffy: Thank you.

Stephanie: All that-- hi, honey.

Dayzee: (Laughs)

Marcus: Hey.

Stephanie: Hey.

Eric: Have I taken the opportunity to tell you how ravishing you look tonight?

Stephanie: Oh, my goodness. No. (Chuckles)

Eric: Mm.

Dayzee: Aw. (Laughs)

Marcus: (Laughs)

Stephanie: Well, thank you.

Eric: No, no. One more time. One more time.

Stephanie: Have you been in the eggnog? (Laughter)

Brooke: Oh, my God.

Thorne: Hear! Hear! Wow!

(Voices overlapping)

Eric: (Whispers indistinctly)

Hope: I shouldn't have come.  This is harder than I ever imagined.

Eric: There you are.

Ridge: Way to go, Dad.

Eric: Thank you. You know, I don't mind that you saw, but the fact that you lead the applause, you know--

Ridge: Well, what can I do? Look, I know came on kind of strong with you about mother.

Eric: No. It's all right. Actually, I think it was something I needed to hear. Thank you.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Thomas: Look, it's hard for you, too... knowing Hope is still in love with Liam but also aware that if she goes after him, she'd be breaking up a marriage. I know you don't want that for your daughter, Brooke.

Brooke: And what do you want for Hope?

Thomas: I'm crazy about Hope. I love making her laugh, and that's something that she has not done a lot of lately. I know she... (sighs) she's not over Liam and she's still hurting, seeing him with my sister. But I think that's something that I can get her past-- I want to.

Liam: I'm sorry. I know this isn't easy.

Hope: Could I ask you something? Is it working, your marriage? Are you happy?

Steffy: Hey. There you are, sexy. Oh, hey, Hope. What's up?

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: (Mouths word)

Hope: (Clears throat) I'm... (Sighs)

Ridge: Hope? Don't even think about leaving this Thanksgiving dinner.

Liam: What's going on?

Ridge: Listen to me, both of you. Let's not make a scene out here. Let's all go back inside.

Hope: No, Ridge, I know what you expect. You expect me to go back in there and sit at a table with a man that I am supposed to be married to. But I won't do it. I can't.

Ridge: Sweetheart, you've got to get over this.

Hope: How?

Ridge: By acknowledging Liam and Steffy's marriage, for God's sake, congratulating them, respecting the fact that this is the life that they share now. It's the only way you're gonna move on. Sweetheart, you've got to do this. You've got to break this tie with Liam tonight. Both of you have to do this.
