Liam: Well, do we have to make it right now?
Steffy: Well, we were gonna talk about it yesterday, but something more important came up.
Liam: Yes it did.
Steffy: Uh, look, um, what do you want to do? Should we have Thanksgiving at my family's or yours?
Liam: Uh, I don't know. I don't know. What do you want to do?
Steffy: Be with you.
Liam: Okay, good idea. Let's go to Hawaii.
Steffy: Well, it's our first holiday as a married couple, all right? I want to show off my new husband.
Liam: Your family it is.
Steffy: Okay, then you break it to your dad.
Hope: You want to show him off, huh? I bet you do.
Ridge: I love the holidays.
Brooke: Mm. You are just like your mother.
Ridge: She and Dad are very excited about having everybody to their place this year.
Brooke: How are they doing?
Ridge: They are back on track.
Brooke: That is because of you.
Ridge: I just gave Dad a nudge in the right direction. That's all.
Ridge: Now I'm hoping to do the same for Steffy and Hope on Thanksgiving.
Brooke: (Sighs) It's gonna take a lot more than a nudge to get those two girls sitting at the same table. Unless, of course, your mother added some ropes and chains to the holiday décor.
Ridge: Well, we are all celebrating together. It's been a difficult few months. But don't think we can forget that we're still family. We still have a lot to be grateful for. Don't we?
Jackie: (Sighs) We have to survive. We have to. I will not let Jackie M. fail. I just will not let Jackie M. fail.
Sally: Would you lighten up a little bit? Things cannot be that dire. We've always lived to design again another day. And we will this time, too.
Jackie: Thanks, Sally. Thank you. (Sighs)
Jackie: Aah! Oh! Oh! (Stammers)
Nick: Oh, don't-- don't keel over on me, huh? Well, at least not until you see these.
Jackie: What? (Gasps) Oh, Pam did it. She did it. She took a picture of design. Oh, my gosh, I could kiss that woman. (Chuckles)
Nick: Some of us had to.
(Telephone rings) (Ring) (Ring)
Stephanie: Hello? Hello?
Stephanie: Where's Pam?
Madison: Running late. She asked me to fill in until she got here.
Stephanie: Oh, well, thank you.
Madison: If I were in her shoes, I wouldn't want to get out of bed either. I was so sorry to hear about her engagement to Mr. Logan.
Stephanie: Uh, yeah, she's pretty upset. That's true.
Stephanie: Um, but sometimes, things work out for the best.
Pam: Good morning.
Madison: How are you feeling?
Pam: Oh, just peachy. But, you know, why shouldn't I? You heard my sister. All for the best. But you know what? Thank you for asking, Madison.
Madison: You're welcome.
Stephanie: Madison, could you excuse us just for a moment?
Madison: Of course. Sure.
Stephanie: Thank you.
Pam: All for the best? Stephen and I were planning a wedding, Steph, in case you forgot. I have never in my life felt like I did with him. For the first time ever, I was really alive. And now he's gone.
Stephanie: The very fact that he would bolt after all of the wedding plans that you made...
Stephanie: Doesn't that give you an indication that he didn't think it was gonna work out either?
Pam: But you don't know that. You don't know anything about our life together, and you want to know why?
Pam: You want to know why? Because you didn't want to.
Nick: Eric Forrester's a very talented man.
Jackie: Mm. Apparently so are you.
Nick: Mother, two designs does not a collection make.
Jackie: No. We're gonna need more.
Nick: Pam's willing to get them.
Jackie: How many more?
Nick: As many as we want.
Jackie: Oh? Well, then I guess I don't have to ask how the rest of your night went, do I?
Nick: I've been called a knight in shining armor before.
Nick: Mm. But I've never been anyone's "Prince Charming." I kinda like it.
Brooke: That is a lot to ask.
Ridge: Well, I'm not asking, Logan. Steffy and Hope can come together for one family dinner.
Brooke: (Chuckles) I don't think forcing Hope to have dinner with Steffy and her new husband is a recipe for a happy holiday.
Ridge: What's the alternative?
Brooke: They can have dinner with Bill and Katie.
Ridge: Well, where is your holiday spirit here? Come on. Have some faith. This time of year always brings out the best in people.
Hope: You worked really hard to snag Liam. Of course, you want to show off your prize.
Steffy: Yeah, I want everyone to see how good we are together.
Hope: Everyone except me.
Steffy: You know, I'm not going to apologize for keeping you away from my husband.
Hope: Liam and I will see each other, and every time we do, he's going to be thinking about what you did and how much he wishes you hadn't.
Steffy: There's nothing left to say. I did what I had to do.
Hope: Yeah, to keep me and Liam apart.
Steffy: To keep you out of my marriage.
Hope: Steffy, you weren't married yet, and if I had gotten to that mountain first, you wouldn't be married now.
Steffy: You know what? I don't believe that.
Hope: You don't think Liam's having second thoughts?
Steffy: Why don't you come to Thanksgiving dinner and see for yourself?
Hope: (Scoffs) You're not serious.
Steffy: If it's the only way I can prove that you're wrong.
Hope: You're bluffing.
Steffy: Am I? Do you think he's just gonna spend the whole time wishing he were with you? Let's see.
Hope: Okay. Let's. You really want to do this?
Steffy: You're on.
Pam: Oh, well, yeah, Pierre, but I just, um-- don't you go anywhere.
Pam: Oh, no, not-- not--not you, Pierre. You--you can go. I mean, au revoir. I'll be sure to give Eric the message. Okay. Do you see what you do to me?
Stephanie: (Scoffs) Oh, my God, you want to blame me for everything-- for distracting you, for chasing Stephen away, too, right?
Pam: Well, that's exactly what you did-- just like Mother. Every single man that came to our door, she would let me know that he wasn't welcome or wanted. I thought when I came to L.A., things might be different. I could have my own life, make my own choices. But you never trusted me to do that. You always thought you knew what was best for me and my future. Well, not anymore.
Oliver: (Clears throat) Hey, Ladies.
Stephanie: Oh, hi, Oliver. Oh, so those are Eric's, uh, latest sketches?
Oliver: Hot off the easel.
Stephanie: Oh, they're wonderful.
Jackie: It wasn't miserable for you last night?
Nick: No, not at all, surprisingly.
Jackie: Well, Pam must have been ecstatic.
Nick: She's more upset with Stephanie than I realized.
Jackie: Or more into you.
Nick: Mother, she doesn't really deserve to be dragged into this. This woman's not looking for trouble. She really just wants some male company. She doesn't want to be alone.
Jackie: She's not going to be alone. She's going to be part of us again-- part of the Jackie M. family.
Nick: She asked for a kiss... which... I delivered.
Jackie: (Chuckles) Ooh, la la. (Laughs) (Clears throat) Did you curl her toes?
Nick: (Slurps coffee)
Thomas: Hey, I got your text.
Steffy: Hey, Thomas, okay, Thanksgiving is tomorrow. And we've just gotta make sure Hope and Liam stay away from each other over the holidays.
Thomas: W-well, why?
Steffy: The four of us are not gonna sit down at the same dinner table. Yeah, I said I was okay with it, but it's not happening.
Thomas: Seriously, Steff, why did you tell her that?
Steffy: Hello! I didn't want Hope thinking I was worried about Hope and Liam seeing each other.
Thomas: Okay, fine, just go have dinner at Liam's dad's.
Steffy: Yeah, that's what I'm gonna have to do-- just have dinner with my mother-in-law from hell. She's gonna watch every move I make. No, I just--I gotta get Liam to decide that's where he wants to go.
Thomas: Fine, what's the problem? Just tell Liam that.
Steffy: Well-- well, I told him that I want to have dinner with my family. Now he's gonna think I'm chickening out. No, he needs to decide this on his own.
Thomas: You're married to him. What's the big deal?
Steffy: Thomas, could you be more naive? Thanksgiving is a minefield. Who knows how Hope and Liam will respond to all this? And honestly, I don't want to find out.
Pam: Wow, these are even better than the ones before. Um, you--you're taking these straight to the cutting room?
Oliver: Eric wants to put 'em into production right away.
Pam: Oh, well, you know, I-I'll take 'em down there for you.
Oliver: You sure?
Oliver: Thank you, Pam.
Pam: Yeah, glad to help.
Stephanie: No, you're not. You're just glad to get out of here so that you don't have to deal with me and deal with this issue.
Pam: That, too.
Stephanie: Don't do this. Come on, it's Thanksgiving. This is when families should be together. Everyone's going to be at the house tomorrow for dinner. It just wouldn't be the same if you weren't there.
Pam: Well, I was planning on making lemon bars for--
Stephanie: No, no, you don't have to, because I'm having the whole meal catered.
Pam: (Scoffs) Certainly the dessert's gonna be homemade.
Stephanie: So will you come?
Pam: (Sighs) Eric really loves my lemon bars. Oh, okay.
Stephanie: Pam, Honey, please. You know, you're not alone. Come on. You're not alone. I know you're upset, and I know you're hurt. Sweetheart, I'm your sister. I love you.
Stephanie: I love you, and I will always be there for you, 'cause you're my baby sister. Okay?
Hope: Hey, I got your message. What's up?
Brooke: Um, well, Ridge has an idea.
Hope: About... my collection?
Brooke: No, Sweetheart. It's about Thanksgiving dinner.
Hope: Oh, I'm having dinner with you and Mom.
Brooke: We were all invited to Stephanie and Eric's.
Hope: I will be there.
Brooke: There's a possibility that Liam and Steffy might be there.
Ridge: I'm going to insist on it.
Hope: Oh, you don't have to. She and I talked about it already.
Brooke: (Scoffs) You talked to Steffy about it? You're okay with this?
Hope: Oh, yeah. In fact, uh, I'm looking forward to it.
Steffy: Hey, I just ran in-- what's up?
Ridge: Hope was just telling us about your plans for Thanksgiving.
Steffy: Yeah, if, uh, Hope wants everyone there, including Liam and me.
Hope: Steffy, you're the one who challenged me to be there so I could see how splendid a couple you and Liam are.
Ridge: Now, now, I don't want our Thanksgiving dinner turned into some kind of competition here.
Steffy: Well, then maybe Liam and I should go somewhere else.
Ridge: No. Family should be together for the holiday-- both of our daughters. Look, I know we have some issues to resolve, but it's not gonna happen by hiding from each other. It's time that we all just start to heal, okay? Okay?
Jackie: Smile. She can hear it in your voice. Smile.
(Cell phone rings)
Pam: Hello, Handsome.
Nick: Hello, Pam.
Pam: I, uh, actually was just gonna call you.
Nick: Is everything all right? I don't hear you smiling.
Pam: Stephanie just invited me for Thanksgiving dinner. Oh, Nick, I'm just not sure I can go through with this.
Nick: Didn't last night feel right to you?
Pam: Are you kidding? Last night was a dream come true, my sexy sailor man that kiss-- my feet still haven't touched the ground.
Nick: (Sighs) Pam, we had an understanding. You know our situation here. Jackie M. is in trouble, and... you took a big risk taking those designs, and I-I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
Nick: But even though you did that, I must say that two of them, although it helped, really just sort of... wet my appetite. You know what that's like, right?
Pam: (Chuckles) Boy, do I ever, "Captain."
Nick: I need you, Pam. I need your help to save this company. Now if you help me, I will make it worth your while.
Ridge: Now I want to make one thing very clear. Whatever the issues are that both of you have goin' on with each other, there's no place for any of them at Mother's dinner table.
Steffy: You want everyone to play nice.
Ridge: I want everyone to remember what this holiday is about. We're giving thanks.
Steffy: Well, you think you can handle that? Because if you want to back out...
Ridge: Nobody's backing out. You will both be there, and you will both be on your best behavior.
Brooke: Can you do that, Sweetheart?
Hope: No problem.
Brooke: (Sighs) Marketing?
Ridge: Yeah, we're all set. You ready?
Ridge: You coming?
Steffy: Uh, yeah, just, um, give me a minute.
Steffy: You know, Hope, we both know the holidays mess with people's heads. There's wine and food, and emotions run high. So don't let it get the better of you tomorrow.
Hope: You're worried about what might happen between Liam and me.
Steffy: No, I just-- don't make a spectacle of yourself. Don't play on his feelings.
Hope: So you're admitting he still has feelings for me.
Steffy: I'm no fool. But there's a ring that says he's married to me. Look, Hope, you need to get over the past and move on. Your life with Liam, it is over, and you need to come to terms with that. Liam knows everything, and he made a choice to stay with me. Look, I know you have your pride, all right? And you want to keep your dignity intact, but this is a holiday about being thankful for what you have. And, Hope, you have so much. You have Thomas, who is crazy about you. You are surrounded by family who absolutely adore you. You have your own clothing line. You have young women all over the world who really look up to you. And you're beautiful. And you're talented. And you're very smart. But Liam is mine, and he is fulfilled in ways you can't even imagine. And look, I-I don't-- I don't want to make you miserable, but you can't sit around tomorrow moping and thinking what could have been. You need to accept my marriage.
Steffy: No, listen to me. This is my first Thanksgiving with my husband. And if you think about interfering... you just better not. Have I made myself clear?
Hope: Guess you'll find out tomorrow, won't you?
