Eric: It’s good to have you here. My youngest son, my namesake-- Eric Forrester Jr. is home.

Brooke: Please tell us you're here to stay.

Rick: How is it I can never say no to you?

Eric: (Chuckles)

Brooke: (Laughs)

Liam: (Sighs) You make it sound so simple.

Steffy: Because it is. You don't have to be in some kind of dictatorship marriage.

Liam: Move up the wedding. That's--it's the one thing I asked. Move up the wedding.

Steffy: You know what the worst part is? Is that she could have said no, but she agreed to it. I mean, she must just want to string you along and make you feel like you're actually part of that relationship.

Liam: Yeah, she promised.

Steffy: But then she broke her promise. She will fit you in when it's convenient to her. Liam, don't make that your life.

Rick: I don't know, Mom. You know, things are going really well for me at International.

Brooke: But L.A. is your home, and we've missed you.

Rick: I've missed you, too. You know how much I love Paris. Okay, I'll stay for a while at least.

Brooke: Yes! (Laughs)

Eric: (Laughs) Good. Hear, hear.

Brooke: Your room is just the way you left it.

Rick: All right, all right, all right. Do you want me to stay because you miss me? Or is this an empty-nest thing because Hope's getting married?

Brooke: Oh, well, a little bit of both.

Eric: (Chuckles)

Rick: So you're happy? This Liam's a good guy?

Eric: He is a good guy. He's a fine young man.

Rick: Mm.

Brooke: You've met him before.

Rick: Barely. You're not worried? Being Bill Spencer's son?

Eric: He's not like Bill.

Rick: If you say so.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Rick: I guess I'll have to find out for myself. I got invited to his bachelor party.

Brooke: Ooh. Well, once you get to know him better, you'll really like him. He's good for Hope, and she adores him.

(Cell phone alert chimes)

Steffy: Is it Hope?

Liam: No, it's my dad. It's info about tonight's bachelor party. Yippee. Well, it's getting started soon. I better go get ready.

Steffy: Hey, uh, Liam?

Liam: I heard what you said. It's a lot to think about. I just... I need time.

Steffy: Well, then take it. I want to give you all the time you need.

Steffy: (Sighs)

(Cell phone rings)

Steffy: Pick up, pick up, pick up.

Bill: Can you hear me now?

Steffy: Hey. Oh, my-- hey, did you see Liam out there?

Bill: No, I didn't see him.

Steffy: Oh, well, you-- I think you should go after him.

Bill: Why?

Steffy: Hope decided not to push up the wedding.

Bill: Oh, I knew it.

Steffy: What? That he was so excited about this? That Hope made a promise and then decided to go back on it? You know what? I am just so sick of this. I cannot stand the way she uses him.

Rick: Tell me, Dad. How is Stephanie?

Eric: Well, she's fighting cancer, Son. It takes its toll.

Rick: Is she still involved with helping the homeless?

Eric: Yeah, she's very involved in doing her good works. (Chuckles) But she's the same-- she's her same old tough self, fighting her battles.

Rick: So things are good? And you're really fine with this Liam?

Brooke: Yes. Hope adores Liam, and he feels the same way about her.

Eric: He's gonna be a very supportive, loving husband.

Rick: Okay, I'll give him a chance.

Eric: Good.

Rick: Because you both seem to like him. But I'll be watching, making sure he's doing right by my little sister.

Brooke: (Chuckles)

Rick: It's just so weird, you know? Being away from all of it. (Sighs) I just had this impression of him that he was this thoughtless jerk that just was using Hope. It's gonna be hard to keep an open mind.

Eric: I get how you're feeling. I mean, he's Bill Spencer's son. Of course you'd be a little suspicious.

Brooke: (Sighs) Liam is not at all like Bill. Honestly.

Rick: He works with his dad.

Eric: Yes, he does. Like any good son, side by side, in the same building, not halfway around the world.

Rick: Ha ha.

Eric: I'm serious, Rick. I appreciate very much all the good work you did at International, and I know how much you love it there, but we all want you back here.

Rick: "All"? Even Ridge? How about Thomas and Steffy? I don't exactly have a fan club here. You know, people actually like me at the Paris office.

Eric: I know they do.

Brooke: That's good. But it's been a long time since you've been here, and I think that everybody would welcome you back. This is your home. We want you back here. I hope you'll just consider it.

Bill: Getting married shouldn't be dragging my son down, but it is.

Steffy: You know, that's exactly what I told him, but he thinks once they get married, things are gonna change.

Bill: (Scoffs) Not likely. More and more, I think the girl has issues.

Steffy: Well, in all fairness, I think Hope as gone through an awful lot because of Brooke.

Bill: Yeah, and I don't want my son being part of that.

Steffy: Well, good luck getting him to call it quit.

Bill: And now I have to attend this--this bachelor party that I'm throwing and pretend to be happy about it.

Steffy: (Sighs) I know. I know. Like, everything is just so wack.

Bill: You know I'd do anything for my son. But how do I save him from himself?

Steffy: I don't know. I-I-I've tried everything. I just--I don't know what I could do now.

Bill: Don't give up.

Steffy: I think you know me better than that. But I'm not gonna push.

Bill: No, he's gotta come to this decision on his own.

Steffy: Well, you're not giving up, ether.

Bill: That girl is wrong for him. And this--this waiting nonsense is killing his image. Worse than that... (Sighs) It's destroying his self-confidence. The kid is miserable, and I can't stand watching that. Until this wedding happens... Of course, it hasn't happened yet, and maybe it won't.

Hope: What are you doing here?

Brooke: I just wanted to check in on you.

Hope: Okay. Well, come on in.

Brooke: I wasn't sure you were here. I didn't see your car outside.

Hope: Ahh, that is because I had Madison drop me off. I want Liam to be totally surprised, and if he sees my car, he's gonna know that I'm here.

Brooke: So when he walks through that door...

Hope: Mm-hmm. I will greet him with a kiss, and he will be so excited and happy to see me.

Brooke: Even though he might be upset that you're keeping the same wedding date?

Hope: I will tell him that the wedding date doesn't matter. We are together. We are committed, and as far as I'm concerned, we are married already. And then I will take him by the hand, tell him I want to move in, and that the honeymoon starts tonight.

Brooke: Oh. (Laughs)

(Indistinct conversations)

Justin: Hey, the guest of honor.

Marcus: Yo, Liam.

Liam: How are you, Justin?

Marcus: How you doin', Man? What's new with you? You ready for the big day, or what?

Liam: Uh, yeah, you could-- you could say that. (Laughs) Yeah, right.

Justin: (Laughs)

Oliver: Happy for you, Man.

Thomas: For the bachelor.

Liam: Oh, thank you. Wow.

Thomas: Cheers.

Liam: Cheers.

(Glasses clink)

Liam: Yes.

Oliver: Cool of your dad to rent this place out, right?

Liam: Yeah, he--he-- he doesn't exactly do things simply, does he? (Chuckles)

Thomas: Uh, Rick's here?

Marcus: He is. I just heard he got back from International. Yo, Rick.

Rick: Hey. (Chuckles)

Marcus: What up?

Liam: Hey.

Rick: Liam, welcome to the family.

Liam: Thank you. Thank you.

Rick: I look forward to gettin' to know you better.

Liam: You, too. Yeah. Uh, excuse me one second.

Oliver: What's up?

Rick: How you doin'?

Justin: How you doin', Man?

Steffy: Hey, Dad. I got a haircut. Do you like it? Bruno did it. I wanted something different.

Katie: Cute.

Steffy: I have nothing to say to you, Katie.

Katie: That's okay, because I have plenty to say to you.

Brooke: But you don't even know when Liam's coming home.

Hope: He'll call.

Brooke: (Laughs) He's going to a bachelor party that Bill planned. They're probably on a jet on their way to Vegas right now.

Hope: Uh, then he'll definitely call, because he knows I want to talk to him. He just doesn't know why.

Brooke: And that doesn't worry you?

Hope: No. Why would it worry me?

Brooke: Honey... (Sighs) I know you have this image of how you wanted tonight to go, and it's all romantic and beautiful and everything that you would want it to be. But I heard you talking to Liam on the phone, and he didn't seem all excited that you couldn't move up the wedding. So when he walks through that door and he sees you here, it may not be a very happy surprise.

Hope: Look, Liam isn't upset with me. He's upset with the situation. We have to keep the wedding date as it is. Was I happy about that? No. Was Liam happy about that? Not even a little bit. But, I mean, it--it's not like he wants to get married because he wants this big ceremony and to wear a tux and listen to some cheesy poem. No. He wants me. He wants to start our life together as husband and wife. So when he comes in that door and sees me waiting here for him, candles lit, and I tell him that I'm here to stay, and that we've been waiting far too long, and that I'm going to give myself to him completely tonight, I think any hurt he's feeling will go away don't you?

Brooke: (Sighs)

Bill: How's my boy doin', huh?

Liam: Uh, Dad, hey.

Bill: You like?

Liam: Yes. Yes, thank you.

Bill: Yeah? You sure? 'Cause this really isn't my style, but you wanted tame. I can get some strippers in here like that. (Snaps fingers)

Liam: Uh, no, no, it's--it's perfect. Thank you.

Bill: All right.

Justin: (Sighs)

Bill: Hey.

Justin: We gotta get you a drink, Man, get you caught up with the rest of us.

Liam: All right.

Bill: Yeah.

Justin: Let me get a scotch on the rocks.

Marcus: So, Liam, what's goin' on, Man?

Liam: Marcus, hey.

Marcus: I mean, what? A bachelor party out of nowhere 'cause you guys are gettin' hitched right away or something?

Liam: Uh, actually, no. The--the, uh, wedding's not for a few months.

Marcus: Oh, okay. Well, that's good, because I was wondering what they were gonna do with Hope for the Future anyway.

Liam: Right, sure, yeah. I mean, you wouldn't want to mess with that.

Marcus: No, I mean, exactly. You understand. Ollie.

Oliver: I mean, the-- the wedding's not happening sooner? I mean, I thought we were here for that, huh?

Liam: Yeah, it turns out this is-- this is a little premature.

Bill: Very premature.

Steffy: So you're here to gloat. How you held on to your precious husband even though he fell in love with me.

Katie: You and I both know that Bill doesn't do anything that he doesn't want to do.

Steffy: Oh, whatever.

Katie: That's actually not why I'm here. I know what you're doing to Hope.

Steffy: I'm sorry. I'm not doing anything to Hope.

Katie: Oh, you're not going after her fiancé?

Steffy: Okay, when somebody I care about is being treated horribly by a woman who claims to love him so much--

Katie: What are you talking about?

Steffy: Hope treats him like a possession.

Katie: (Scoffs)

Steffy: She takes it for granted that he just follows her every whim. She's manipulating. She's controlling.

Katie: How exactly is Hope manipulating Liam?

Steffy: She's withholding sex.

Katie: (Chuckles)

Steffy: She's made him a pawn in her Hope for the Future campaign. What do you call that?

Katie: I'd call it someone who knows what she wants. You should do yourself a favor-- stay away from Hope and Liam.

Steffy: Okay, if you-- if you really want to talk about their relationship, I think you should talk about it with Hope, not me. Get her to realize that Liam has feelings. He has opinions. I know it--it's a really difficult concept for a Logan that, you know, people actually have feelings.

Katie: You are unbelievable.

Steffy: And Liam is great, and he deserves more.

Katie: (Sighs)

Bill: When I was Liam's age-- well, actually, until just a couple of years ago... (Laughter) Marriage was the last thing on my mind. That's why it's all the more impressive that my son has already found the woman he wants to settle down with. Marriage is a lifetime commitment, so you want to make sure you do everything you can to find the perfect match.

Marcus: Well...

Justin: Hey, I'll drink to that.

Bill: To Liam. May your marriage be everything you want it to be. I'm sure as long as Hope is as devoted to you and loving to you as she is now, you won't be disappointed.

Liam: (Sighs)

Justin: To Liam.

Men: To Liam.

(Glasses clinking)

Oliver: Cheers, Bud.

Man: Cheers.

Man: Ahh.

Justin: Mmm.

Marcus: Mm. All right, there it is. Yo, yo, where's the food, Man?

Bill: Hey, Kid.

Liam: So... you know.

Bill: Steffy told me. I'm sorry.

Liam: (Scoffs) Why? It's what you wanted.

Bill: It's not what I want. You're miserable.

Liam: You know, it's-- it's the one thing, you know, the one thing that I asked of her, and she--

Bill: And she wouldn't do it. She wouldn't do it. Time and time again, Hope is proving to you where you fall in her list of priorities.

Liam: Well, then again, what is she supposed to do, you know? They've got the whole Hope for the future campaign tied into our wedding, my wedding.

Bill: It kills me what this is doing to you. I don't want you to go through with this wedding.

Liam: (Chuckles) Yeah, I kinda got that from your speech. Look, I... I know that you don't like Hope.

Bill: I like Hope. I like her fine. That doesn't mean I want you to commit your life to her. And you know what? It wouldn't matter whether I loved her or hated her, as long as she cared about you with all her heart, but that isn't the case. She loves herself too much and her message, so she's not capable of that. She was a sweet little girlfriend for you, and you two were cute together. But a marriage is not about being cute. I love you, Liam. Before, all I cared about was business. But you mean more to me than that company ever did, and that's how much you need to mean to hope, but that is not the case. She's too interested in-- in using you for her Hope for the Future abstinence campaign than she is about fulfilling your wants, your needs, and your desires. Hell, you are engaged. This should be the time of your life. You should have all sort of expectations, but instead, look at you. You are miserable. I'm your dad I love you. It is my job to advise you and counsel you, and I am advising you to not go through with this wedding. I know you don't want to hear this, but you gotta leave Hope in the past. And if you want a spectacular woman, there is one who is waiting for you, who is head over heels for you. Steffy.

Katie: I'm warning you, stay away from Liam.

Steffy: You know what, Katie? There are people out there who feel that I'm a better fit for Liam than Hope.

Katie: (Scoffs)

Steffy: So why don't we let Liam decide?
