Brooke: (Laughs) Oh, we are so proud of you, sweetheart.

Hope: Thank you.

Eric: This young lady took Europe by storm.

Hope: Uh, not me. No, my collection did.

Ridge: Excuse me. It was you.

Brooke: And the media buzz was incredible.

Eric: But the fan buzz is even more amazing. Every place we went, it was all about autographs and photographs.

Hope: I know. A lot of people wanted to know about Liam and me. Is he here?

Brooke: Not yet.

Liam: There's my fiancée.

Hope: Hi!

Liam: Hi.

Hope: (Squeals)

Liam: (Sighs)

Hope: Oh.

Taylor: Okay, um, no. I completely understand. Um, yeah, okay. No, same time next week. All right. Thanks. Bye. (Sighs)

Thomas: Hey, Thorne, I was, um... Thorne

Thorne: Thomas.

Thomas: Am I interrupting?

Thorne: (Sighs) No. I was thinking about your mother.

Steffy: Hey, um, I thought this was a business meeting. Well, if Hope and Liam want to be alone, we can all go to my office. Although, Hope may not want to be alone.

Brooke: Steffy, maybe you should be one to leave.

Steffy: Hope's purity isn't a big secret. I mean, she was all over Europe bragging about it.

Hope: Seriously? Steffy, I was promoting my collection.

Steffy: No, I know. So was I. At least, I was trying to. But all the questions I was getting were about you.

Hope: Hmm.

Steffy: Oh, "When's the big day? How can I get an invitation? Are they really waiting until their honeymoon?" Yadda--

Brooke: And what's so wrong about that if people are noticing Hope and her new collection?

Steffy: Well, it-- it's good for business, and it's good for Hope, but you can't say it's good for everybody, because I know it's not.

Brooke: All right. (Sighs) Now I know you should leave.

Ridge: Logan, come on. Go easy, here.

Hope: (Scoffs)

Brooke: Ridge, Hope just got home. They haven't seen each other in days, and now Steffy's trying to cause trouble? I know you don't respect their engagement, but I'm not going to put up with it.

Thorne: Your mother's going through a rough time.

Thomas: Yeah, I know. I feel horrible about it.

Thorne: You shouldn't have lied to her, but I know it wasn't your intentions to hurt her. As a matter of fact, it was just the opposite. It's not fair what's happening to your family.

Thomas: A lot of things aren't fair, Thorne.

Thorne: Like you getting stuck down here in the basement?

Thomas: Like you getting stuck down here in the basement.

Thorne: Well, you get scraps fed long enough, you forget that there's something to wish for.

Thomas: Thorne, we were both in Paris workin' our tails off. Why aren't we upstairs with the others celebrating the collection that we helped succeed? (Scoffs) And after all these years, you should be up there.

Brooke: Yes, I could do the interview at 2:00.

Ridge: Steffy, I want you to listen to me.

Steffy: You know, no, Dad. You're gonna side with Brooke, and your wife told me to leave, so...

Ridge: Well, I want you to stay. The P.R. you did for Hope for the Future was a big part of the success. So I don't want to hear any more debate on anything else including Hope's engagement.

Steffy: You know what? Um, I have some ideas for the next campaign, so I'll just leave it here. I think there are some you'd like.

Thomas: Thorne, it has to bother you. Why don't you complain?

Thorne: What good would that do? And how do you think my employees would feel? Me whining is not going to convince anyone to move me upstairs, Thomas.

Thomas: You don't have to convince anybody. You're a Forrester.

Thorne: And I think you know all Forresters are not equal.

Thomas: You must hate me. The trust-- the 25% Grandma left me. It... some of that stock-- it was supposed to be yours.

Thorne: So be it.

Thomas: It's not right, Thorne

Thorne: Well, it's how things are, Thomas.

Thomas: Well, it doesn't have to be that way.

Thorne: No, it doesn't, not for your mother.

Thomas: You really care about her, don't you?

Thorne: Taylor needs to know that she's not alone, Thomas.

Thomas: Steffy and I - we're giving her as much support as we can.

Thorne: And I'm sure she appreciates it, but sometimes support is not enough. Your mother needs someone to take a stand with her, Thomas.

Hope: You know, I-I really wish Steffy wasn't so upset about this. I mean, we have to work together.

Ridge: I will talk with her.

Brooke: We kept you away from Liam long enough.

Hope: (Giggles)

Brooke: We'll schedule the concept meeting for another day, okay? Welcome home, sweetheart. (Giggles)

Hope: Oh, thank you. I'm so glad to be back.

Brooke: Mm.

Ridge: All right, Logan, let's give the, uh, lovebirds a little privacy, shall we?

Liam: (Chuckles)

Brooke: Yes.

Hope: (Chuckles) (sighs)

Liam: (Sighs)

Hope: Ahh. So you want to get out of here?

Liam: I don't even want to move. I just want to stay here, right here, with you.

Hope: Not exactly the way I imagined our reunion.

Liam: What were you expecting, I mean, something--something like this?

Taylor: Steffy? Steffy, what are you... (scoffs) what are you doing here? I-I thought you were at the office. I thought you had a meeting.

Steffy: No, we never got around to it. Brooke was too busy letting me have it. No, she told me to leave the meeting. Apparently, I wasn't being "respectful enough" of Hope's engagement.

Taylor: She kicked you out of the meeting?

Steffy: No, no, I-I left on my own because I knew dad was gonna side with Brooke like always, you know? Champion of the Logans.

Taylor: (Sighs) I'm so sorry, sweetheart.

Steffy: If dad's not gonna stand up for our family, who will?

Taylor: I know. I know.

Steffy: But, you know, I-- I just... (sighs) I'm not even surprised anymore, so...

Taylor: It doesn't make it any easier though, sweetheart.

Steffy: Yeah. But n-no, no, don't-- don't worry about me, okay? Enough about me. Let's talk about you. Come on. I want to know. Did he show up? The mystery man-- did he come to your door and, what, sweep you off your feet?

Steffy: Wait, Anthony said this guy was like some kind of superhero.

Taylor: No, a prince.

(Knock on door)

Steffy: Oh.

Thorne: Taylor?

Steffy: Oh.

Taylor: Oh, come in.

Thorne: Hey, I called your office. They said you weren't coming in. Is everything all right?

Taylor: Uh, no, everything's fine.

Steffy: Hey, uh, Thorne, do you believe in psychics?

Thorne: Well, I've never been to one.

Steffy: Oh.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Steffy: Mom has.

Taylor: I-I have not.

Steffy: Yes, you did.

Taylor: I went--no, I went to Dayzee's, and that's where I saw Anthony, who was there making predictions.

Thorne: Well, if anyone deserves to hear good news, it's you.

Steffy: Well, he said that a man is supposed to come into her life-- actually, a prince.

Thorne: Not a lot of those left in the world.

Taylor: Yes, she's very, um, intrigued by this. She finds it very, uh, mysterious.

Steffy: Well, I-I want to know. Did he show up? Tell me.

Taylor: I--well, I-I'm sure Thorne doesn't want to stand around here talking about Anthony's predictions.

Thorne: I actually have some documents you should look over.

Steffy: Oh. That's boring.

Taylor: (Chuckles)

Steffy: Okay, I want to know the details when Thorne leaves. All right? All right.

Taylor: (Sighs) Mm.

Steffy: And don't let her fool you. She's just as curious about this man as I am.

Thorne: Well, there's no rain, no cats, but yet once again, your mysterious man has come through your door.

Taylor: Well, I couldn't be happier to see him.

Thorne: (Chuckles)

Thomas: Hey.

Ridge: Thorne's not here?

Thomas: Uh, no, you just missed him.

Brooke: You heard Hope's back?

Thomas: Yeah, she was a big hit in Paris, just like we were with Taboo.

Liam: Maybe we should lock the door?

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: Maybe?

Hope: Maybe we shouldn't.

Liam: (Sighs)

Hope: (Sighs) (chuckles)

Liam: I missed you.

Hope: Oh, God, I missed you, too.

Liam: Somehow, uh, video chatting--not the same. No.

Hope: Mnh-mnh, no. Not the same at all. So what did you do while I was away?

Liam: Uh, you know, the usual-- work, waited to hear from my fiancée.

Hope: (Chuckles)

Liam: Steffy came by a couple of times. Uh, she didn't hit on me

Hope: Uh-huh. Oh, yeah, I'm sure she was just concerned, yeah.

Liam: Yeah, well, I told her she didn't have to be.

Hope: I don't think she listened very well. (Chuckles)

Liam: Hey, um, you don't have to worry about Steffy. I mean, I know how important this is to you, getting this right.

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: And if it's what you want, than it's what I want, too. And our wedding will be as beautiful and as perfect as you are

Hope: (Chuckles)

Liam: And when we're finally together...

Hope: (Sighs)

Liam: Are you-- are you--are those tears? Are you crying?

Hope: No. (Laughs)

Liam: (Chuckles)

Hope: They're just... (sighs) very happy tears. (Sighs) (Sighs) (chuckles) I love you so much. Mm. (Chuckles)

Taylor: Well, I guess everybody's playing hooky today.

Thorne: I was in the office earlier with Thomas.

Taylor: Yeah? H-how is he doing?

Thorne: He's not too happy about being in the basement with me.

Taylor: Oh, oh. God, I'm sorry. I hope he wasn't insulting.

Thorne: No, no, of course not. You know, I tried to downplay it, but he's right. I should be insulted. He should be, too, Taylor. I mean, we've paid our dues in this business. And Thomas created one of the most successful collections in the company ever. And when Ridge decided to chuck it, it was personal, and it was very costly.

Taylor: Yes, well... (chuckles) everything that happens in a family business is personal.

Thorne: Well, I try not to take it that way, but sometimes it can be hard not to, you know, watching Ridge and Brooke take over again and again, seeing Hope fly up the ladder. Steffy has done well for herself, and Thomas, he-- he was on his way up.

Taylor: He was.

Thorne: Yeah, well... (sighs) I've been there, Taylor. I had my shot on the executive floor, only to lose it to my brother again. I wound up as a footnote in his success stories. You know, I'm not complaining about having the extra time to spend with my daughter, so... I just take what they give me, and I do the best I can with it. But... it doesn't have to be that way for you, Taylor. Your family has the power to write its story, and no one can keep you down if that's not where you want to be.

Taylor: Well, fate hasn't been very kind to either one of us lately, has it?

Thorne: Well, that's about to change. After our conversation last night, I got to thinking. This is a list of everyone who holds shares at Forrester. Everything's about to change for you and your family, Taylor, in a huge way.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Taylor: Okay, so wait a minute. Let me--let me just track through this with you one more time. So Stephanie made me the trustee of the shares she gave Thomas, which means I can vote them.

Thorne: Mm-hmm.

Taylor: So I control 25% of Forrester Creations on Thomas's behalf.

Thorne: Right, and Steffy has the 25% shares you gave her...

Taylor: (Sighs)

Thorne: And Thomas has the 5% Ridge gave him. That's 55%-- controlling interest, Taylor.

Taylor: Oh, my gosh, I hadn't even thought of that.

Thorne: Well, the company bylaws state that any stake over 50% is a mandate to make significant binding decisions for the company, including but not limited to who the officers are-- vice president, president, C.E.O.

Taylor: Um, so, um, individually, it doesn't mean anything. But if we were to consolidate, then...

Thorne: Well, your family will control Forrester Creations.

Taylor: Oh, my gosh. You are a genius. I can't believe you brought this to me. This is incredible that you're even showing it to me.

Thorne: Yeah, well, it's about time.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Thorne: You need a voice.

Taylor: You know, Steffy was just talking to me, and she was asking me who would stand up for our family. Now I know.

Thorne: Well, maybe by changing your fate, I can change mine.

Taylor: (Sighs) Anthony was right. A-a prince did walk through my door last night. (Sighs)

Thomas: Taboo was one of the most popular lines that we have ever produced.

Ridge: It ran its course.

Thomas: No, it didn't. It didn't get nearly as big as it could have.

Ridge: Thomas we've talked about this before. I'm not reviving the line.

Thomas: I'm not asking for myself. It's Brooke's project, too.

Brooke: Your father is C.E.O. now, and I support his decisions.

Thomas: Please, just... forget how you feel about me for a minute. I know you were proud of the line. You have every right to be angry with me, and I'll never forgive myself for what I did to you. Yes, there had to be consequences, and I'm willing to live with them. Unfortunately, those consequences are affecting Forrester's bottom line. I work in shipping now, and Uncle Thorne's got me in charge of inventory control, so I know what's in demand. I've talked to our buyers, and our clients are still interested in Taboo.

Ridge: You tell them those designs are no longer available.

Thomas: But they are available. They're just sitting down there collecting dust when they could be making money-- racks and racks of beautiful designs, Dad... our designs. I'm sorry I hurt you.

Brooke: You betrayed me, Thomas, in horrible way.

Thomas: How am I supposed to win back your trust when never see you, if I'm still down here in shipping? Just... give me a chance. Let me prove myself all over again, show you how serious I am.

Brooke: I can't.

Ridge: You should know better than to ask. Tell Thorne we want to see him upstairs when he gets back.

Thorne: I'm not a prince, Taylor.

Taylor: No, it seems like it to me. No, you--you walk in here, and you turn my whole life around. I mean, what you've done for me is amazing.

Thorne: I wanted you to know where you and your kids stand. You can be the future of Forrester Creations.

Taylor: We actually control 55%.

Thorne: Yes, if you work together.

Taylor: (Sighs) Oh, my gosh, I can see my children and I standing up to these people. It's a little overwhelming.

Thorne: Yeah, the implications are huge.

Taylor: Oh, yes, they are.

Thorne: You can decide who runs Forrester, Taylor, who makes the decisions.

Taylor: (Sighs) Why would you do this for us?

Thorne: Because us underdogs have to stay together? (Chuckles)

Taylor: (Sighs)

Thorne: Wouldn't it feel great to win for once?

Taylor: Oh, yeah, winning is good. It's good.

Thorne: Well, this is our opportunity, Taylor. I'm talking about an uprising. Nice guys don't always have to finish last. Make that decision. Empower yourself and your kids, and run Forrester Creations with your children. I'll be right there, right by your side. Taylor, together we can do anything.
