Steffy: Are you serious? You're ready to rally the Logan troops?

Brooke: You bet.

Steffy: Oh, it's just sad that you're that worried about me.

Brooke: You've proven you can't be trusted.

Taylor: Okay, then what does it say about Hope and Liam’s relationship? You don't think he can be trusted while Hope's out of town? If the relationship is that tenuous, then they've got bigger problems than Steffy.

Bill: Let me get that drool for you.

Liam: Oh, Dad! I'm workin' here.

Bill: Yeah. Not a bad way to earn a living, is it?

Brooke: Hope and Liam don't have problems, not anymore. I just want to make sure that Steffy doesn't become one.

Taylor: So what are you and your sisters planning to do? Spy on Steffy? Follow her around? Make sure she's never alone with Liam? That's ridiculous. They're friends.

Brooke: Why are you encouraging this after everything she's been through with Bill?

Steffy: W-w-what does that have to do with anything?

Brooke: You're setting yourself up to be hurt again. I'd think your mother would be the first person who would want to prevent that.

Taylor: (Scoffs)

Brooke: Bill is a married man, and he turned you down. Liam is engaged. He's going to turn you down, too. You don't have to keep putting yourself in these situations. You don't need to do that this time. Liam is her fiancé. Just leave him alone. Stay away from him.

Thorne: It's good to see you, Jean-Michel.

Jean-Michel: So did Hope get engaged? There hasn't been an official announcement.

Thorne: Ahh, are we here to discuss clothing or marriage proposals?

Jean-Michel: Thorne, come on. We are curious.

Thorne: I'm sure Hope will answer all your questions. Thanks for coming.

Woman: I didn't know you were coming, Thomas. I thought this was only about Hope for the Future.

Thomas: Well, it is, Sarah. I'm just helping with the designs.

Sarah: So no big announcement about Taboo today?

Thomas: No, I'm afraid not.

Sarah: I'm free tonight if you are.

Thomas: I'll call you.

Eric: Let's begin, shall we? Uh, hello, everyone. Welcome, and thank you for being here. Bonjour. I'm very, very happy to be in Paris today representing my company and, uh, representing a line that I am very, very proud of-- Hope for the Future.

Liam: Well, she's-- she's very... uh, she's, uh...

Bill: She looks hot in lingerie?

Liam: Yes. Should I play it again?

Bill: No.

Liam: Yeah, I-I wasn't gonna.

Bill: I want these ads up on all our web sites as soon as possible. Let's give Forrester some bang for his buck and put the fear of god in Nick and Jackie Marone.

Liam: All right. You've got it. What about print, though? Is this gonna make the next "Eye on Fashion" issue?

Bill: An ad like that? I'll make sure it does.

Steffy: Liam can ask me to stay away from him, not you. Who his friends are is none of your business.

Brooke: (Scoffs) If that friend wants to hurt my daughter, it most certainly is.

Steffy: Hope's hurting herself by using sex to control her man.

Brooke: What are you talking about?

Taylor: Well, honestly, Hope can't help but have learned how to use sex as a weapon. Whether you give it away freely to get what you want, or you withhold it, the result is the same.

Brooke: (Scoffs)

Steffy: Mind games, control issues-- that's how you taught your daughter to be with a man.

Hope: Actually, it's not really a new idea. Other fashion houses have been doing it, too, but, I mean, it's very important to implement those kinds of environmental changes into the line. Well, and let's face it. I mean, wearing sustainable apparel fit right in with the entire Hope for the Future concept.

Jean-Michel: Can I ask about the elephant in the room?

Hope: (Laughs) You mean this? Yeah? (Laughs)

Jean-Michel: Does that mean you said yes?

Hope: The answer was yes. And I am happy to confirm that I am engaged.

Man: Wow.

Hope: Thank you. Thank you.

Jean-Michel: Will planning the wedding take you away from Hope for the Future?

Hope: Uh, no, I don't think it will. In fact, I think it's going to drive me to work even harder on it. You know, I've talked a little bit before about the message that I want to convey, and it is so important to me that young women of my generation know that they have the power to choose to live safer, healthier lives, just everyday steps that give us Hope for the Future, uh, whether that is concerning the environment or our bodies. In recent years, the idea of entering into marriage before beginning an intimate relationship is something that has been seen as, you know, from the dark ages. It's very archaic. But I don't think it should be seen that way at all. In fact, I want to help spread the word that this is a life-changing experience. You know, it--it's something that comes with consequences and responsibility. I don't think that it should be entered into lightly or promiscuously.

Sarah: Hope, you're newly engaged. How...

Hope: Yes, I am. Um, and thanks to my incredible, amazing fiancé, I am living my message. Being in the spotlight, it--it's really given me a unique opportunity to be a role model to a lot of girls out there. You know, and I just want the young women of my generation to remember that the choice is theirs. They don't have to enter into anything if they're not ready. And if a man really does love you, he’ll wait until you are.

Brooke: Hope's decision to wait has nothing to do with controlling Liam.

Taylor: Maybe not consciously.

Brooke: It's about her values and her beliefs. She has a very specific vision of how she wants her first night with Liam to be, and I'm really proud of her for that.

Steffy: Well, that's fine if the man that she's with has a similar vision, but he doesn’t. He doesn't want to wait.

Brooke: It's Hope's body and Hope's decision, and Liam is in love with her. Whether he likes it or not, he's going to wait. He respects her choice. And you two have to do the same thing.

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: Mom, you don't have to worry about Brooke. I'm not.

(Cell phone rings)

Steffy: Uh, uh, you know what?

(Ring)

Steffy: I better take this.

Taylor: Okay, well, if, uh, Brooke and her sisters...

(Ring)

Taylor: Come sniffing around, you call me.

Steffy: Okay, yeah, I can--

Taylor: You let me know.

Steffy: I can handle myself.

Taylor: All right. Bye, Honey.

Steffy: Bye. Liam.

Liam: Hey home come you never told me about this campaign?

Steffy: Oh, Intimates?

Liam: Yeah.

Steffy: I didn't want to get you all hot and bothered, you know, with your current abstinence situation. Oh, so, um, my dad bought the advertising space.

Liam: Earlier today, yeah.

Steffy: You gonna come through for us?

Liam: Well, needless to say, I'm--I'm happy to oblige. I'm working on the placement now. It's--it's beautiful, Steffy. You're beautiful.

Steffy: Oh, uh, um, I'm glad you like it. So, how are you?

Liam: Good.

Steffy: Really?

Liam: Well, I'm a little bummed, obviously. It's just, you know, I proposed to Hope, and then she has to leave town immediately and... (Sighs) I'm trying to not get disappointed, but-- you know, I-I don't, um, I'm not really up for getting into this right now. I-I just--I've had a long day at work. You know how it is. And I just want to go home and relax and give Hope a call, and everything will better then. Uh, so, hey, so, uh, I'll-- I'll give you a call about this, uh, campaign tomorrow, and we'll talk then, okay?

Steffy: Yeah, okay. Uh, sure.

Liam: Have a good night, Steffy.

Steffy: You, too.

Eric: Thanks so much. I appreciate you doing this. Merci beaucoup.

Hope: (Sighs) Oh, that was so cool. (Laughs)

Eric: You were great.

Hope: Really?

Eric: Yeah.

Hope: Oh, I thought I was starting to lose it when I started talking about healthier dyes.

Eric: They loved you.

Hope: Thank you.

Eric: Yeah.

Hope: What's that? Your tux? Are you goin' out tonight?

Eric: No, no, no. This is not a tux. This is for you.

Hope: For me? What?

Eric: Something I've been working on.

Hope: In Paris?

Eric: No, actually, not in Paris, at home. I've been working on it for a long time, but when Liam proposed to you, it sort of lit a fire under me.

Hope: Is that what I think it is?

Eric: And when I realized we were booking this thing for Paris, I thought I could get the international office involved so that they wouldn't have to be sending fabrics overseas to me so that I could finish this.

Hope: (Gasps)

Eric: What do you think?

Hope: (Sighs)

Eric: (Laughs)

Hope: Wow, it’s... it's amazing.

Eric: Now I-I know that Ridge might be the one, uh, maybe he wants to be the one to do this for you, but if you like it, he could take some hints from this, you know?

Hope: It's beautiful.

Eric: Mm-hmm.

Hope: I'm in love with it. I--can--

Eric: No, don't touch it.

Hope: Can I tou--no?

Eric: No, you may not touch it.

Hope: Please?

Eric: Okay. Go on. Go on.

Hope: Okay?

Eric: Go try it. Take this.

Hope: Oh, my gosh. Yes.

Eric: All right, go on.

Hope: Oh, be careful with it.

Eric: I will.

Hope: Come on now.

Eric: You be careful with it.

Hope: (Sighs) It's really happening. (Sighs) I'm getting married. (Sighs)

Brooke: (Sighs) Mm. You don't know how much I needed this. (Chuckles)

Ridge: Rough day?

Brooke: Oh, well, parts of it.

Ridge: Anything I can do to help?

Brooke: (Chuckles) You already are.

Ridge: Hey.

Brooke: Oh. Wow. You read my mind.

Ridge: I just talked with Thomas on the phone. He said that Hope's press conference went very well.

Brooke: I was so worried about her.

Ridge: Oh, you had to know she'd nail it. She's very good with the press.

Brooke: Oh, I know. (Sighs) I know. Just--I'm worried about something else.

Ridge: Steffy?

Brooke: I had a bit of a run-in with her earlier, and Taylor was there, too.

Ridge: Ohh, so that's what's got you in the mood. I get it. What's going on? What happened?

Brooke: (Sighs) I just want her to understand that Liam is off-limits. Hope and Liam are engaged now, and Steffy needs to respect that.

Ridge: Liam is committed to Hope. He'll make that clear to Steffy, if he hasn't already. He wouldn't have proposed otherwise.

Brooke: He wants to be her husband. But it doesn't mean he's not going to be tempted. Hope's asking a lot of him.

Ridge: You mean asking him to wait that long?

Brooke: Mm, perfect time for Steffy to go after him.

Ridge: Oh, Logan, come on. Liam loves Hope. He loves her for who she is, for the decisions she makes, including the one to wait until she's married. It's gonna be a couple of rough months for Liam. It would be for any guy. Something tells me he's gonna be able to handle it, no matter what Steffy does, okay?

Hope: Well?

Eric: Just as I imagined.

Hope: Oh, wow. Oh, this is... thank you so much. Thank you.

Eric: You like it?

Hope: (Sighs)

Eric: You won't hurt my feelings if you pictured yourself in something completely different.

Hope: This is the dress that I want to get married in.

Eric: (Chuckles)

Hope: (Sighs) This is what I'll be wearing on my wedding day. (Sighs)

Liam: No, tonight. Y-you think Forrester’s paying us to get this up next month? No, I need this ad placed immediately. Yeah. Listen, I'm gonna-- I'm gonna send you the updated-- no, the updated version. All right, let me know when you get it. Did you get it? You got it? Okay. Yeah, yes, I know she's hot, Dude. I've been tell-- what about the banner ad? Yeah, you know, I-I was thinking the same thing. I mean, we'd have to adjust the pixels, depending, but, um, we could--right. Okay, I'll tell you what. You--you call me with what you have tomorrow morning. We'll talk then. Okay. All right, cool. Thanks. Bye. (Sighs)

[Liam remembering]

Liam: I want you to be my wife.

Hope: (Gasps)

Liam: Will you marry me?

Hope: Yes, I would like nothing more than to be your bride. I love you so much.

Liam: What's wrong?

Hope: Wait until after we're married.

Steffy: No, you and Hope, you guys are engaged. You gave her the commitment that she's been waiting for, but she wants you to wait till the wedding? What?

Hope: I'm really gonna rush, but I think that I can put it all together in, like, three months... three months... three months...

Steffy: Do you really want to live like this for the rest of your life? Liam, don't get dragged into a marriage that won't give you what you need. What you need... need... need...

Steffy: Damn, I look good.

Liam: (Sighs)

Steffy: Now why would you do that when you can have the real thing?
