Eric: Ha ha!
Ridge: There's our girl.
Hope: Hi. (Giggles)
Eric: This is not a girl any longer. This is an engaged woman.
Thorne: And a beautiful one. Mwah.
Hope: Oh, thank you.
Thomas: Congratulations, Hope.
Hope: Thank you, Thomas.
Marcus: Hey, look, I know there's a lot of testosterone in this room, but come now, let us see some of that bling-bling.
Eric: Let's see. Ooh.
Hope: I know. (Giggles)
Eric: I wouldn't expect anything less from a Spencer.
Ridge: Lucky for you, I think you got the good one.
Hope: Hey, hey, easy now. That's my future father-in-law you're talking about. (Giggles)
Bill: A bit quiet in here. Hello! Everybody decent?
Katie: (Giggles) Bill! Hope! Liam!
Liam: Oh, ho!
Liam: Nice of you to knock.
Bill: That's why I have a key.
Katie: We brought, uh, bagels and coffee.
Donna: Yeah, it's a little late for breakfast, but, you know, we figured you'd want to sleep today.
Justin: Your father wanted to be the first to congratulate you and Hope.
Bill: Yeah, I tried to catch you last night, but I was swamped by reporters. You know, you could have warned me, given the scoop to "Eye on Fashion," huh?
Katie: Where's Hope?
Donna: Yeah, where is she? Wait, she's not hiding, is she? I mean, she doesn't have to be embarrassed. We're all grown-ups.
Katie: Oh, come on.
Liam: She--she's, uh, she's at work.
Donna: Work? Well, I--but you-- you just got engaged. I figured you'd be spending the whole day, well, you know, celebrating.
Liam: No--no-- no such luck.
Steffy: I'm sorry, Mom. I'm just not up for throwing confetti and cheering.
Taylor: You never skip meetings, Steffy.
Steffy: I know, but they're gonna just be celebrating Hope's engagement
Taylor: (Sighs) I'm so sorry.
Steffy: You know what? Liam's the one I feel sorry for.
Hope: Okay, okay. Enough about me.
Thomas: Right. Let's get down to business let's, uh... let's talk about you.
Hope: (Gasps) Oh, thank--guys, thank you, but come on, the applause should be for my amazing designers. Dad and Eric and--and Thomas, thank you.
Eric: The reviews are sensational.
Eric: The numbers are even better. Take a look.
Hope: Oh, wow!
Thorne: Yep, I think you've earned some time off to plan your wedding.
Hope: Oh! Oh! Speaking of wedding, oh, I kind of wish Stephanie was here.
Eric: You want Stephanie to help?
Hope: Uh, no. No. But,.. (Inhales sharply) I was really hoping that we could have the wedding at your house. Ever since I was a little girl, I really dreamed about getting married there.
Eric: We will do our best to make that dream come true.
Hope: Yeah? Oh, thank you.
Hope: Thank you so much.
Eric: Have you set a date?
Hope: Uh, no, no, I haven't talked to Liam about it, but I know he wants to do it soon.
Bill: Okay, so normally, I'd be all for Hope's work ethic, but, come on.
Justin: Are--are you kidding? You're wondering how you can find 50 more employees just like her. I mean--
Donna: Wait, you--you guys just got engaged, and they couldn't let her have one day off?
Liam: Uh, uh, she has a big meeting about the preview.
Katie: Well, it is her line.
Donna: Yeah, but it couldn't wait till tomorrow, I mean, especially after the night you probably had, hmm?
Taylor: I was in your father's office last night when he was on the phone with Brooke and Hope arrived home.
Steffy: So you know.
Taylor: That she was planning on spending the night with Liam and then she changed her mind?
Steffy: Uh, yeah, and then she ran back to her parents.
Taylor: You know, I-I don't think that Hope's reticence is necessarily a bad thing.
Steffy: Mom, I'm worried about Liam. Hope pushed him into a corner, and now he can't wait to be married.
Bill: The minute Hope gets back, I want to set up a big photo shoot.
Liam: What--what are doing? What is he doing?
Katie: I think he's planning an ambush.
Justin: Look, he's just excited. I don't know if you know this or not, but your father, he's a big sucker for romance.
Liam: Dad--Dad, I do not want my engagement turned into a media circus
Katie: Too late
Bill: Uh, I-I-I'm gonna get-- get back to you. Well, what do you-- what are you talking about? You're--you're the one who got engaged at the end of the runway--you know, sweet move, by the way.
Katie: Yeah, I guess, thanks to you, Hope's message is reaching a lot of people.
Donna: I thought it was beautiful, you know, not giving into stereotypes, making your own choices.
Katie: You're marrying an extraordinary woman.
Bill: It's becoming a Spencer family tradition, isn't it?
Bill: You know, maybe that's what we need do, a-a whole family photo shoot. I like that.
Liam: Um, Dad, I-I-I did not propose to Hope to sell magazines.
Bill: We're not just talking about magazines. Do you know how many web hits this thing has got? I mean, they--they are soaring, and the closer we get to the date, the more hits there are gonna be by the way, I need that date as soon as possible. We're gonna hype the hell out of this thing...
Bill: Not to mention the sponsorship--we're gonna get a lot of sponsorship.
Katie: Bill... (Laughs) it's your son's wedding. Come on.
Bill: I know it's my son's wedding, and it's gonna be great.
Bill: I'm so proud of you. It's gonna be great. You know what? You and your beautiful bride are gonna set the fashion world on its ear.
Hope: I'm not sure about the neckline. Can we just raise it up like--like an inch?
Thomas: Whoa, you want to bring it up?
Hope: Yeah. I mean, I think the lines are so soft and romantic, and--and the neckline is just--it's grabbing, like, all the attention.
Eric: I see what you mean.
Eric: We'll fix it.
Ridge: Thank you, ladies. That's all for today.
Hope: Thank you.
Thomas: Bye, ladies.
Marcus: So next on the agenda, I got a peek at the new Intimates campaign this morning.
Ridge: Before we get into that, we need to discuss Hope's trip.
Hope: Mm, what trip?
Ridge: We're sending you to Paris.
Hope: What? When?
Eric: As soon as the pilot can file a flight plan.
Hope: Really? I-I-I just got engaged.
Ridge: That's why it's important that you go over now. The European press is going wild over Liam's proposal. We have to take advantage and, uh, use the spotlight for our collection. You do want to get your message out there, right?
Eric: It's the perfect opportunity.
Ridge: Too good to pass up.
Thomas: Yeah, let's hope our new spots for the Intimates collection will generate just as much buzz.
Ridge: Madison, tell Oliver we're ready. We're gonna push Steffy's new line. We're going after a big media buy here. We're gonna flood the print, the cable, the web with our new collection.
Eric: Wait. Steffy's not gonna do the presentation?
Ridge: No, Oliver is taking care of it. He's done it all.
Oliver: As you know, the name of the line has changed. Steffy felt Intimates better expressed the scope and the feel of the collection.
Oliver: To highlight that change, we've really pushed that idea of intimacy.
(Romantic music playing)

Steffy: Liam asked me to stop trying to get to him and respect their engagement, but I really don't think he should marry her.
Taylor: Steffy, I just want you to stay aware that you're not repeating this pattern of pursuing unavailable men.
Steffy: Mom, I'm worried about Liam. He should be happy. But he isn't.
Liam: Well, that was nice of them to bring breakfast.
Bill: When do you expect Hope back?
Liam: Uh, I don't know.
Bill: What did she say when she left this morning?
Liam: Actually, Dad, I don't, um, I don't think we're gonna be up for a photo shoot today.
Bill: Yeah, pretty worn out from last night, huh?
Liam: Yeah, you--you could say that.
Bill: Well, you only get engaged once, right? You two should spend the day together, unplug the phone.
Liam: Yeah, and bar the door?
Bill: If you have to. You went through a hell of a lot to get to this point. You two deserve a day to celebrate. And I'm sure last night was great, but--
Liam: Actually, Dad, um... it wasn't.
Bill: You know, I just assumed that you and Hope came back here after the proposal and--
Liam: No, we did. We did. And--and then she went home. She wants to wait.
Bill: For what? You proposed.
Liam: The wedding.
Bill: The wedding? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait, you mean the honeymoon night?
Liam: (Scoffs) Yeah.
Bill: Okay, uh, I am going to have the jet fueled up and file a flight plan for Vegas.
Liam: Thank--thank you. Thank you. I think, at this point, I'm just gonna have to be patient.
Bill: Wow. Uh... well, I-I-I'm sorry, kid. Uh... you know, I-I-I don't know what to tell you. I-I feel for you, but I-I've never had this problem.
(Cell phone rings)
Liam: Yeah, me, neither.
Liam: Oh, it's Hope. It's Hope
Bill: Well, maybe she's gonna give you a reprieve.
Liam: (Laughs) Hey.
Hope: Hey, where are you right now?
Liam: I'm at home.
Hope: Okay, great. I'm coming over.
Liam: Oh, great. What's going on?
Hope: (Sighs) I-I'll tell you when I get there, okay? I'm on my way. I can't wait to see you.
Eric: Well, it's an exciting time in Hope's life.
Thomas: Forrester, too.
Thorne: Well, thanks to Hope for the Future, our demographic is becoming younger.
Marcus: And thanks to the Intimates line, it's also getting hotter.
Oliver: I predict it's gonna be a big seller.
Thorne: Hope and Steffy's campaigns could not be more different.
Eric: Well, maybe that will keep them from being so competitive with one another.
Ridge: I wouldn't count on that one.
Steffy: Seriously, Mom, what's gonna change when Hope and Liam get marred? What's gonna be different?
Taylor: That's-- that's kind of a personal thing to be speculating on.
Steffy: Well, do you think hope's making a good choice? Do you think she's doing the right thing by waiting?
Taylor: I can give you a better answer if you let me know why this is important to you.
Steffy: Well, Liam is important to me. You know, I-I hate what this is doing to him. You know what? I saw him last night at Bikini. He was a mess. You know, he has every right to be happy, but he's just putting up with this because this is what Hope wants. But he should think about what he wants. Mom, you're a psychiatrist. Do you think it's fair for a single man to wait till marriage?
Liam: So how was your meeting?
Hope: (Sighs) Too long.
Liam: I agree.
Hope: Mm-hmm. Yeah. But it was worth it, though.
Liam: Yeah, good news?
Hope: Yeah! My collection's a hit!
Liam: (Blows raspberry) No surprise there.
Hope: Well, okay, actually, your proposal was a hit.
Hope: Apparently, it's got the fashion world talking.
Liam: Uh... yeah. Tell me about it. My dad came over. He thinks we need to capitalize on the publicity.
Hope: So does my family, um... which is why... (Inhales sharply) they're sending me to Paris.
Liam: What? When?
Hope: Um, like, right away. It won't be long. It really won't. And then when I get back, we can start planning the wedding. Oh, and I asked Eric if we could have it at the Forrester estate, and he said yes. I told him we want to do it really soon.
Liam: Oh, yeah, like, next week soon or--
Hope: (Scoffs) Yeah, yeah. Next week. No, I-I-I'm really gonna rush, but I think that I can put it all together in, like, three months.
Taylor: Marriage is about more than a sexual commitment. Many couples decide to wait until after the wedding.
Steffy: No, but they didn't decide as a couple. Hope decided. It was her decision.
Taylor: I'm very aware that Hope probably has a lot of issues after everything that she's been through and the way she grew up, but I-I don't know that she's using this to be manipulative.
Steffy: Well, what else could it be? Why would she deny herself and the man she--she's crazy about?
Taylor: Because for some people, marriage is seen as very sacred. Maybe this is Hope's way of trying to set herself apart.
Steffy: She rejected the man she says she loves. You know, he's this great guy who would do anything for her. You know, if she wants to think this marriage is real, then why make him wait? Unless, of course, this is a test to see if he'll behave, to see if she can control him.
Taylor: So you really think this is more of like a control issue?
Steffy: For his sake, I hope I'm wrong, but I don't believe I am.
Taylor: Well, I personally think it's very honorable for two people to decide to wait, but that's exactly the way it has to be. It has to be both of their decision. Otherwise, it could be a sign of a future problem.
Liam: Three months. Okay.
Hope: (Sighs) I know. It seems like a really long time, but it's not.
Hope: It's really not, especially when you're planning a wedding.
Liam: No, I know. A week feels like a long time.
Liam: When are you leaving?
Hope: (Inhales sharply) As soon as I can get to the airport. It's fast. I know. It's really fast. I know. And I-I know that last night didn't end the way you wanted it to. And I know we've been busy all day, and honestly, I-I'd really just like to spend all day with you.
Liam: Mm! I want that, too.
Liam: Don't go.
Hope: (Inhales sharply) (Sighs)
Liam: Don't go. Don't go. Don't go. Don't go. Don't go. Don't go.
Hope: Mm, I have to.
Liam: Don't go.
Liam: You don't, you know. I mean, you just sort of think that's what everyone expects of you. I mean, of course, Hope for the Future-- there you are standing in the spotlight, showing millions of women how to respect themselves. It's a beautiful, beautiful message, Hope. But you are not your collection.
Hope: I know. But, Liam, I-I-I thought you understood.
Liam: I do. I... when I say that I want to be with you, I'm talking about a kind of connection. I'm talking about you sharing with me...
Liam: Something that you haven't shared with anyone else. I want to be able to love you in a way that you've never been loved.
Hope: (Sighs) I'll be back really soon, okay? And then I will start planning the wedding as fast as I can.
Liam: Well, that's what I'm saying. I don't--I don't want you to. I-I don't want you to rush planning the wedding. I want you to the have the wedding of your dreams. I-I want the honeymoon to be just as incredible as you've imagined it to be. But my question... why can't today be incredible, too?
Hope: Liam... do you think that I'm not feeling everything that you're feeling? Because I am, every bit of it.
Liam: Good--okay. Oh, that's okay. Then that's what I'm saying. I mean, why... what is it exactly that we're waiting for? Because we're young. We're in love. We're engaged. We are about to spend the rest of our lives together. And why aren't we living this life to the fullest? Why won't you let me show you...
Liam: My love for you... Right now?
