Bill: Come on.
Katie: I am not gonna break.
Bill: You okay? You just got out of the hospital.
Katie: (Sighs) I'm good.
Bill: You're recovering from a heart attack, Katie.
Katie: Yeah, well, I'm still very much alive. In fact, I feel stronger than I have in long time.
Bill: Yeah, well, I told you how tough you are, didn't I?
Katie: Yeah, well, don't you forget it.
Bill: I won't.
Katie: It's such a beautiful day. I wouldn't mind going for a walk on the beach.
Bill: Uh, you're taking it easy.
Bill: Doctor's orders. No more, uh, little outings.
Katie: Yeah, well, I think I said everything I need to say to you and to Steffy. I won't be knocking on her door ever again.
(Knock on door)
Steffy: Uh, just a minute. Hold on. Hi-- what are you doing here?
Hope: Can I come in?
Hope: I know all about you and Bill.
Steffy: Well, who doesn't?
Hope: How could you do that to my aunt Katie?
Steffy: Um, she's your aunt, not mine.
Hope: Wow. You know, she and Bill just renewed their vows, or did you not know that?
Steffy: Oh, no, I knew about it. We don't keep secrets from each other. You know, actually, she ambushed him. He came home to end his marriage and tell her that he wanted to be with me, but he couldn't, because there were so many people around.
Hope: You don't feel guilty at all, do you? Katie had a heart attack, Steffy. She almost died, but you had to go and do what you always do and attack my family.
Steffy: This is not about Logans versus Forresters. You know, some people have passion, desire, but you don't know anything about that, because you are "Little Miss Virgin." I really don't know how Liam puts up with that.
Hope: We have an amazing relationship, something you would know nothing about.
Steffy: Uh, you know Liam was here, right?
Hope: Yeah, I do. He told me.
Steffy: You know, he's just really cool-- sweet and supporting and understanding. He knows how much I love his dad.
Hope: That's the kind of guy he is. He doesn't want to see anyone get hurt. I'm lucky to have him.
Steffy: Yeah, you are.
Hope: Liam is not like his father. He would never walk away from a great relationship for someone younger or--or sexier.
Steffy: What, do you mean like me?
Hope: Bill knows he screwed up big-time. He's recommitting to my aunt Katie, so do yourself and all of us a favor. Stay away from Bill.
Owen: I hope you are hungry.
Jackie: Oh, darling, only for you.
Jackie: (Laughs) And maybe eggs Florentine.
Owen: What? How did you know?
Jackie: Love telepathy, and, uh, I peeked. (Giggles)
Owen: Oh, you are just a sneaky little devil. Mm. Mm.
Nick: Well, you two have made yourself quite comfortable.
Jackie: We certainly have. Good morning, sweetheart.
Nick: Morning. You ever heard of breakfast in bed or hotel room service?
Jackie: Hotel? We've only spent one night here.
Owen: Yeah, you said that we could stay here until we found our place. I mean, the only reason why we're here is because we couldn't find a place.
Nick: No, no, no, no. I-I remember--the big-bucks mystery buyer that made you an offer you couldn't refuse.
Owen: We made a ton of cash on that deal, too.
Nick: Well, that's fantastic. That means that you have all the money you need to find your own place.
Jackie: But isn't this fun? I mean, all of us just living here under the same roof?
Nick: Mm-hmm. "Fun" isn't the word I'd use.
Nick: Just don't get too comfortable. This is only temporary. Remember, we have an agreement.
Owen: And we appreciate you letting us crash here. We do.
Jackie: We do.
Owen: Mmm, oh, my gosh. And by the way, I've got some breakfast for you in the warming drawer. Come on. Sit down and join us.
Jackie: Mmm, this is truly scrumptious.
Owen: I've gotta say, it is pretty damn good.
Jackie: Oh, yum, yum, yum.
Owen: You sure you donít want any?
Jackie: It's good. I like the fact that it's hard in the middle...
Owen: You like the sauce.
Jackie: And yummy runny on the outside.
Steffy: You know, Bill is a kind, decent man, but he can't walk away from Katie right now. But he's only gonna stay with her until she gets better.
Hope: You know, she has been discharged from the hospital. She's gone home with her husband. They're together, Steffy.
Steffy: For now. Well, until she recovers, then he's gonna end his marriage, and he's gonna start a life with me.
Katie: You made it pretty clear at the hospital that you're committed to our marriage.
Bill: I did, and I am.
Katie: But I know it's gonna take us a minute to get through this.
Bill: I didn't sleep with Steffy.
Katie: Well, it's not just about sex. You had an emotional connection to her, and maybe that's worse. You bonded with her. You confided in her, and I just... I don't ever want you to have to go to anyone for comfort or for passion, for love, for understanding. If this is gonna work, I have to know that I'm the only woman in your life.
Katie: When I said my vows to you on our wedding day, I meant every word.
Bill: So did I.
Katie: When I said I would love you, flaws and all, I meant that. And even though I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I know that we have to take this day by day so that we never forget how important we are to each other. This ring that you put on my finger-- it means more to me than anything else, and not just because it's beautiful, but because of what it symbolizes-- a circle with no beginning and no end. They say that the center part is not just empty space, but it's actually a doorway into what is known and what is unknown, and I love that. I love the adventure and the unpredictability of life. But I hate it, too, because I hate that I didn't see this coming. I mean, not that I was naive about what Steffy wanted, but I just never dreamed that you could want it, too. I never dreamed I could lose you to someone else. And I don't ever want to have to go through that ever again.
Bill: You won't. What I did wasn't right. You stood up for yourself. You stood up for our marriage. Thank you for reminding me of our commitment.
Katie: I believe in us. I believe in what we mean to each other. And as long as we're in this together, I will never stop fighting for us. But you have to say good-bye to Steffy. You have to let her go. It's time to tell her it's done. It's time for us to move on with our lives. And it's definitely time for us to get Steffy Forrester out of our lives once and for all.
Liam: What is that? That's not even a legitimate word.
Hope: Yes, it is.
Liam: Affetto? Affetto?
Hope: Yeah, affetto. It means "affection" in Italian.
Liam: Oh, really? So you hinting at something maybe? Would you like a little, uh, affetto from me? A little Liam affetto? 'Cause I will affetto all over.
Hope: (Laughs) Maybe. Mm.
Liam: You know, I didn't know you were such a, like, linguistic super genius, by the way, 'cause you're killing me at this game.
Hope: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Liam: I feel like the only way I'm gonna beat you is by cheating.
Hope: You couldn't do that. You're not capable of it.
Liam: (Sighs) Yeah, you're right. I wouldn't even cheat on a stupid little word game. (Chuckles)
Hope: Speaking of cheating...
Liam: How is, uh, how is Katie?
Hope: Much better. Your dad brought her home from the hospital this morning, so...
Liam: Oh, yeah?
Liam: So everything is looking good?
Hope: Yeah, yeah, it looks like it. Now I just hope Steffy can stay out of their marriage. I-I went and saw her today.
Liam: You went and saw Steffy today?
Hope: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I told her to sty away from Bill. Hey, Liam, why didn't you tell me that you knew about the affair? How long had you known?
Steffy: (Gasps) Oh, my God. Mm. I knew you'd come.
Nick: Classifieds. Circled a few for you to look at.
Owen: Oh, you don't waste any time, do you?
Jackie: Oh, you are so eager to get rid of your poor, homeless mama.
Nick: Owen, you gotta help me with this, huh? Y-you don't love this living situation, right? I mean, you and my mother, so free and easy, wanting to seize every moment, it really should just be the two of you, don't you think?
Jackie: You know, darling, he's quite right. It's very hard for me to get used to wearing clothes all day.
Nick: Oh, look. Look, I circled this one. See? "Clothing optional home for two."
Owen: Oh, that one's on the other side of town.
Nick: Oh, is it? (Chuckles) I didn't realize, yeah. Anyway, I pulled a few more up on my laptop. I'm gonna go get 'em.
Owen: What we share is incredible.
Jackie: The most perfect, beautiful life together.
Liam: I mean, I knew for a while that my dad had a thing with Steffy, but, um, I didn't know how serious it was until, yeah, until the--the-- the night of their vow renewal. I mean, he told me right before the ceremony.
Hope: (Sighs) Liam, I really wish that you had said something.
Liam: I know, Hope. I couldn't. I-I-I'm sorry. I couldn't. I mean, he swore me to secrecy. I tried to--to talk some sense into him. I tried to get him to end it.
Hope: Yeah, but he didn't listen.
Liam: No, neither did Steffy. I tried to get her to end it, too.
Hope: It doesn't surprise me that Steffy didn't listen to you. She doesn't listen to anybody. She does whatever she wants, regardless of who it hurts.
Liam: Uh, you should've seen the look on her face, Hope. I mean, I think she genuinely is in love with my dad.
Hope: You think so?
Liam: Yeah, I do.
Hope: I don't know. I don't know. Maybe she is. Maybe she just thinks she is. I have no idea. I--listen, I'm not thrilled... (sighs) that you didn't tell me about the affair, but I understand. I understand why you couldn't because of your loyalty to your dad. And I'm not thrilled that you went to see Steffy, but I know that your heart was in the right place. I mean, you handled it the best way that you knew how. A-as much as Steffy wants me to feel insecure about it, I'm not, because I trust you. I really am grateful that you tried to get through to her even though she refused to take her blinders off.
Liam: Hey, how-- how was she when you went and saw her this morning?
Hope: Still in denial. She was still way too confident tat your dad was going to dump my aunt and end up with her.
Liam: O-okay, all right. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I know you're upset right now.
Liam: And--and I don't want you to be, so maybe we can not talk about my dad and his messy love life. Maybe we can not talk at all.
Hope: Yeah. Okay.
Bill: Are you cooking?
Steffy: Yes. It's our first home-cooked meal.
Bill: That's really nice.
Steffy: Uh, well, you haven't tried it yet. It--it actually might be a little burnt, so...
Bill: I'm sure it's great.
Steffy: You think everything I do is great.
Steffy: I missed you. Do you have any idea how much I hate when you're not here? When I'm here alone, all I do is think about you, about us being together. We're gonna have such an amazing future together. I'm gonna make you so happy.
Liam: (Sighs) I want you so much. I mean, not here in your dad's office, 'cause, you know, that-- that would be, you know, k-kind of creepy.
Liam: But I do. I really, really do. I can't help it. It's driving me nuts. You're so beautiful and sexy and--and--
Hope: I know. I want you, too, Liam. I-I do.
Hope: And it will happen someday.
Liam: Yeah, okay. Okay, I know. I-I get it. I get it. You want to wait, and I respect that. It's just... very hard being patient. Hey, let me ask you a question. Do you, um, do you have any, uh, showers here?
Hope: Yes, in the fitness center. Why?
Liam: Because I think I'm gonna need a cold one.
Hope: Oh. (Laughs)
Steffy: And, you know, as soon as Katie recovers, you can move in with me. Oh, you know what I was thinking? Um, we could live here for, like, I don't know, a year and a half then buy a new place with a bunch of bedrooms.
Steffy: I-I know. I know. I know. I'm getting ahead of myself, but we did talk about having a family. You know, it's something that I really want.
Bill: Katie's out of the hospital. I took her home today.
Steffy: Yeah, I-I know. I know. Hope came by and-- yeah, she mentioned it to me, and then she was also trying to make me question your love for me, but I didn't buy it, because I believe in you, and I know you would never leave me. And you're not the kind of man who would break his promise.
Bill: I made a promise to Katie, too.
Steffy: Yeah, I know. Yeah, you promised to be with Katie until she recovers, and she's actually recovering quite fast, considering she already came over here and confronted me. And now that she's released from the hospital, I'd say that's a-a pretty good sign.
Bill: Yes, it is.
Steffy: Yeah, and now that she's back on her feet, I don't know, maybe we can finally start our life together.
Bill: Steffy, there's something you need to know.
Steffy: Bill, you don't have to say anything.
Bill: Yes, I do.
Steffy: I already know how you feel about me.
Bill: And I meant every word I said to you.
Steffy: I know. I know that you--you love me and you'll never leave me.
Bill: Steffy, you've gotta stop hearing what you want to hear.
Steffy: What are you saying?
Bill: You know what I'm saying. I made a vow to Katie.
Steffy: Yeah, but then you made a promise to me. Hey, don't let Katie make you feel guilty.
Bill: It's not guilt.
Steffy: Then what is it?
Bill: With Katie's heart condition, I don't know how long we have together. I don't know how long she has. I made a decision. I honoring my marriage.
Steffy: No, you ca-- you can't be serious.
Bill: Steffy, I'm sorry. Katie's my wife, and I have done things that aren't right. I made a promise to you, and as much as I love you, I'm going back to my marriage.
