Brooke: You've been waiting for this moment, haven't you, Stephanie? All these years, you've been biding your time, waiting for this moment that you thought was inevitable-- the end of my marriage.

Stephanie: I'm not happy about this I'm not. But you're right about one thing-- it was inevitable. You were always bound to do something that Ridge would not tolerate, and you did.

Hope: You gonna defend yourself? You're not, because it didn't happen, did it, Thomas? (Scoffs) You and my mother did not make love on that island. You made up the whole thing.

Pam: (Meows)

Steffy: Yeah. Yeah, Pam and her "Catwalk" dance?

Bill: (Sighs)

Steffy: I mean, seriously, Bill. Yeah, it was all the rage for a while. But then your ratings plummeted, and that's why they went on hiatus. Look, you need me. So just let me be the host of "Catwalk," okay?

Bill: You want to be in this building so you can hang all over me and hope that I'll crack.

Steffy: Yeah, that, too.

Bill: (Chuckles)

Steffy: The day you do crack will be the best day of your life. We will be spending a lot more time with each other, working together and all.

Bill: I'll consider it.

(Door opens)

Katie: (Sighs) Well, my day just keeps getting better and better. What brings you by, Steffy?

Steffy: Oh, just, uh, business. No reason to overreact.

Katie: Overreact to what? Hey, Baby. How was your day? So what is this business you have to discuss with my husband?

Bill: Steffy would like to be the new host of "Catwalk."

Katie: Well, that certainly would give "Catwalk" a whole new meaning.

Bill: Steffy feels confident she can turn the show around.

Katie: But why would you want to? I mean, it's not a Forester Creation production. Could it be that you would like to work closely with my husband?

Brooke: For the record, I didn't seduce your grandson.

Stephanie: You took liberties with him.

Brooke: I told you. I don't remember making love to Thomas on the island.

Stephanie: Well, he says otherwise.

Brooke: But the point is I have no recollection of it. (Sighs) I know you don't believe me.

Stephanie: Well, it doesn't matter whether I believe you or not. That's irrelevant. What happened on the island is irrelevant. You should have stopped when the two of you kissed on that runway.

Brooke: He kissed me. I had no idea he was going to do that.

Stephanie: And you had no idea he was going to kiss you on the plane from Paris?

Brooke: That's right. I was asleep.

Stephanie: It doesn't matter whether yore asleep! You're the adult here. You're supposed to know that it was inappropriate, this whole campaign.

Brooke: It was a gimmick, Stephanie. It was a way to sell clothing.

Stephanie: Yeah, but it was wrong. When--when the two of you kissed on that runway, you should have walked away. When the picture appeared on the internet, you should have walked away. And most definitely you should have walked away when he kissed you on that plane coming back from Paris, and you didn't. Why? I'm sorry you're gonna be hurt, and I'm sorry that you're suffering. You know the best thing that you could do right now? Just leave. Just go away. Walk away from all of our lives once and for all.

Hope: Admit it, Thomas. You are lying about having sex with my mom.

Thomas: Why would I do anything like that?

Hope: Uh, to get your parents back together.

Thomas: Come on, Hope, I have accepted Dad and Brooke's marriage for a long time now.

Hope: Yeah, or so it seems.

Thomas: Hope, I was practically raised by those two.

Hope: Okay, fine. Then maybe you did it for another reason. You know, I know you're attracted to her. Maybe you just wanted her all to yourself. I don't know. I don't know what goes on in your head, Thomas, but I do know that my mother would remember if she made love to you, and she doesn't, so that tells me one thing. Either you're lying, or she is, and I am certain that it's you.

Brooke: You said your piece. (Sighs) I think it's time that you leave.

Stephanie: What are you gonna do?

Brooke: You sound like you care.

Stephanie: I do. I did.

Brooke: Not now-- now that I've proven to be "The serial seductress" in your eyes

Stephanie: Maybe things have just worked out the way they were meant to.

Brooke: No, not for me. I'm being accused of something I did that I have no recollection of, and my marriage is falling apart because of it.

Stephanie: Well, no, your marriage is falling apart because of all the things that have happened all these years. It has nothing to--

Brooke: No, Stephanie, that is not true! Ridge and I have never been closer. It's because of what's happening with Thomas and me. That's what's made the difference. (Sighs) You know, I-I've been seeing James Warwick.

Stephanie: No.

Brooke: I though maybe he would help me understand... (Sniffles) What's going on... (Sighs) My memory loss and why in the world I would do something like that with Thomas.

Stephanie: What did he say?

Brooke: He thinks Thomas is lying.

Stephanie: Why would Tom lie?

Brooke: (Chuckles) That is what I asked Hope.

Stephanie: You didn't tell her about this.

Brooke: Oh, yes. Yes, I did, actually. I mean, she lives with us. She could tell something was wrong, that there were problems between Ridge and me. (Sighs) But she is amazing. She supports me. I really thought I was gonna lose Hope because of this, but she's defending me.

Stephanie: You shouldn't have told her any of this. This should have been a secret.

Brooke: Oh, Stephanie, stop it. She's not gonna tell anybody. However, I do think she'll go to Thomas about this.

Stephanie: Oh, brother, that's all he needs. (Sighs) He doesn't need to be confronted by anyone. He's had enough. I just realized something. I'm not gonna see you for a long time... not till the divorce is over. Well... (Sighs) It's over with you and Ridge. You just need to pick up the pieces and move on.

(Door closes)

Brooke: (Sighs)

Steffy: I have no intention of using "Catwalk" to destroy your marriage.

Katie: (Laughs)

Bill: The show is obviously in trouble, Katie. The numbers are down.

Steffy: Yeah, we need to change the format, which I intend to do.

Katie: Bill, can't you see that she's in, obviously, over her head? I mean, she's basically a model, for God sake. Can you imagine her conducting an interview? Uh, the numbers are down, you're right, since Donna left the show. And we should get somebody with experience. We should go after a celebrity host.

Steffy: Now wait-- wait a minute. Wait. (Laughs) Are you--are you stealing my idea?

Katie: What idea? A show about fashion? We're already doing that. You're just suggesting that we change the host.

Steffy: Oh, okay, are you really that threatened by me? Well, maybe you should talk to somebody about it. I know you're into therapy these days.

Katie: Yeah, you might want to consider that yourself. Listen, "The Catwalk" is a Spencer publications production. That means it's our business, mine and Bill's. So why don't you go back to Forrester where you belong, and I'll talk to the producer about having you on as a guest.

Thomas: Will--will you please stop staring at me? Seriously, do you have anything else better to do?

Hope: No. I'm waiting.

Thomas: For what?

Hope: The truth. How could you say this about my mother? She has always been one of your biggest supporters, always.

Thomas: You keep talking about your mom. What about mine?

Hope: What about her?

Thomas: Do you have any idea how much she suffered when she and Dad got divorced?

Hope: Okay, so you decided to do something about it, didn't you?

Thomas: No, that is not what I am saying.

Hope: That is what you are saying, Thomas. I can see the guilt in your eyes. (Scoffs) You can't even look at me right now, can you? I know you, Thomas, and I know that this guilt will torture you until you admit to what you've done. So why not just admit it right now, right here? Tell me the truth, Thomas.

Stephanie: Tom? Hope. What's going on here?

Hope: We are having a private conversation.

Stephanie: About what?

Thomas: She thinks I'm lying about what happened with Brooke. She's not the only one.

Steffy: I think Bill should decide who should host "Catwalk."

Katie: I agree.

Steffy: I think he sees the necessity of a quick change.

Katie: Hm.

(Telephone rings)

Bill: Yeah? I'll be right there. I have a meeting.

Katie: Lucky you.

Bill: Watch the claws. I don't want any blood on my carpet.

Katie: See you at home.

(Door closes)

Katie: (Sighs)

Stephanie: Don't accuse him of lying.

Hope: He hasn't denied it, Stephanie.

Stephanie: He doesn't have to. What about your mother's behavior in all of this?

Hope: Her behavior is not the issue.

Stephanie: Oh, her behavior is very much the issue.

Hope: Okay, Thomas, what has my mother ever done to you?

Stephanie: Well, she certainly damaged him.

Hope: Damaged him? What? He doesn't look damaged. Excuse me. Thomas, are you damaged?

Thomas: No.

Hope: No.

Stephanie: Stop it, both of you. You're too young to understand the ramifications of being emotionally abused by an adult. Oh, wait a minute. No, that's not true. You're a perfect example of that. Here you are, a strong young woman, and you had to become one in order to survive your childhood.

Hope: That's ridiculous, Stephanie. I was never abused.

Stephanie: Do I have do remind you of the circumstances of your birth?

Hope: (Scoffs)

Stephanie: You may not have been responsible for that, but you certainly had to learn to accept it over the years.

Hope: My mother was a great mother. She loved me unconditionally, was always, always there for me.

(Telephone rings)

Thomas: Yes? Madison, yeah. Can it wait? All right, fine, yeah. I'll--I'll meet you down in shipping. Bye. I'm sorry, Guys. I have to take care of something.

Hope: Oh, we are not finished here.

Thomas: It'll have to wait, okay?

Hope: Hey.

Thomas: (Sighs)

Hope: This isn't gonna go away, Thomas. It will follow you for the rest of your life.

Hope: (Sighs)

Stephanie: Stop hassling him. He's been through enough.

Hope: He's done it to himself.

Stephanie: Oh, and you're not going to hold your mother accountable in any of this?

Hope: No, I'm not, Stephanie, not if it's based on a lie.

Stephanie: You really believe your mother was a good mother?

Hope: Yeah, I do.

Stephanie: You know, there's probably one thing that we can agree on where your mother is concerned. Her big issue is sex. It certainly has had its effect on you, Bridget, and now Tom. Stop hassling him.

Hope: I'm not hassling him, Stephanie. I am simply asking him a question that he obviously does not want to answer. But he will. You can count on it.

Katie: I wouldn't plan on getting the "Catwalk" job.

Steffy: It seems to me Bill is a man who makes his own decisions, like hiring me for "The Catwalk."

Katie: You know, it's painfully obvious that you're doing this to be close to my husband.

Steffy: Mm, a significant perk, wouldn't you say?

Katie: You have a strange impression of what my husband needs and wants. His strength, his power-- that turns you on. But his love, his loyalty to his family-- to me, these are things that are at his core, and you find them contemptuous and weak, which is why he'll never really respect you. I mean, I'm sure he finds you attractive. He's a man, after all. And you're young, and you're beautiful, and you make yourself available to just about anybody. But so what? So what? You're not the first woman to throw herself at my husband, and you won't be the last. And you would be delusional to think that he would see any kind of future in this. I could leave him tomorrow, and he wouldn't go to you.

Steffy: Bravo. A woman with confidence. What, did you get that from your sister Brooke? Oh, wait a minute. Her marriage is on the rocks.

Katie: Yeah, well, she and Ridge have gotten through just about everything together. I'm sure they'll get through this, too.

Steffy: Mm, not from what I know. Oh, I'm guessing you don't know the cause of their problem, huh?

Katie: I'm guessing she didn't tell you either.

Steffy: No, no, no, I have my sources. Brooke does what all you Logans do-- overestimate your husband's devotion.

Katie: You know, it's amazing that you can ignore what's right in front of you. Bill loves me. He needs me. We're a part of each other. And regardless of what we've been through, that has never changed. You're an ego-booster. And maybe your brand of flirtation is something that's entertaining him right now, but he'll get bored, and at the end of the day, he comes home to me. And let me tell you something, Steffy. Our life together is anything but boring. So go ahead. Make a fool out of yourself. You're not gonna get that job. Sooner or later, you're gonna end up exactly where you belong-- out on the street on that cute little butt of yours.

Brooke: (Sobbing)

Brooke: (Sighs)

Hope: Look, Stephanie, if Thomas is telling the truth, then he's got nothing to worry about, but, you know, I don't believe that he is.

Stephanie: What did you think of the Taboo campaign?

Hope: I thought the designs were brilliant.

Stephanie: No, no, no, the way it was promoted.

Hope: (Scoffs) I wasn't very comfortable with it.

Stephanie: Why not?

Hope: I think it's pretty obvious why not.

Stephanie: Oh, because your mother was cavorting around with a boy half her age?

Hope: Oh, God, it was art of the promotion, Stephanie.

Stephanie: Yeah, I know it was part of the promotion. We all bought into it, but should we have?

Hope: That is completely irrelevant right now.

Stephanie: No.

Hope: Yes, it is.

Stephanie: Should we have, considering everything that's happened? Tom was sexually attracted to your mother. I know it. You know it. She knew--are you gonna stand there and say she wasn't aware of it?

Hope: I think she felt that she had the situation under control.

Stephanie: Oh, under control, like she did with Oliver?

Hope: Oh, my God, she thought it was Ridge!

Stephanie: Maybe, maybe not. Look, I don't want to upset you any further or belabor the point, but she has had problems, sexual issues, with every man in this family, and now Tom? I bet you if your mother walked into this room, she would be willing to admit the biggest mistake of her life was doing that campaign. Hope, your mother needs to go away and get control over her life.

Hope: I don't want her to be alone.

Stephanie: She won't be alone. She has you. But her marriage to Ridge is over. She has to stay away from him, stay away from Tom. She has to give everybody a chance to get over this and recover. She'll recover, Ridge will, and so will Tom. But they need time in order to heal no one more accusations.
