Whip: Just get your stuff together, and I'll, uh, I'll be right back.

[Taylor is hallucinating]

(Water splashes)

(Water splashes)

Taylor: (Sighs)

Woman: All done.

Thomas: And?

Woman: Did you eat these berries?

Thomas: Just tell me what you found, Lesley. Are--are there any lasting effects if I do?

Taylor: (Sighs) Oh, can you believe we're here?

Whip: Yeah, this house is great. I pinch myself every day.

Taylor: Come on. Let's go look for the treasure.

Whip: Okay.

(Seagulls crying)

(Waves crashing)

Taylor: Wow. (Sighs)

Brooke: Ridge. What are you doing home?

Ridge: Oh, no. Is there a naked pool boy behind the couch again?

Brooke: Oh, he left hours ago.

Ridge: Oh, thank God.

Brooke: How long do I have you?

Ridge: I'm done for the day. I'm all yours.

Brooke: Oh. (Giggles) All mine. (Giggles) I like the sound of that.

Ridge: You want to go out and get, uh, some dinner later?

Brooke: No.

Ridge: Movie?

Brooke: No.

Ridge: We could probably still get some tickets for something.

Brooke: No. No, I-I just want to be here. Hope and R.J. are gonna be home soon, and I just want to spend time with you, the kids.

Brooke: This is all I thought about when I was on the island-- getting back to this.

Lesley: There are unique berries found only in the South Pacific. They're hallucinogenic. It's very important that they're not ingested. The hallucinogens can cause delusions of grandeur, heightened sexual awareness and desire, lack of caution and inhibition. They're dangerous.

Thomas: And--and once it wears off?

Lesley: No severe lasting effects outside of a massive hangover, I would imagine. Look, I don't know what you were thinking, but if you brought these home to try, don't do it. You'll regret it. Don't mess around with these. These berries have to be properly disposed of. You don't want to be responsible for somebody accidentally eating them.

Taylor: (Sighs) Okay, let's find the treasure. All right? You've got the map?

Whip: Um, sure.

Taylor: Okay, I'll follow you. Go.

Whip: Okay.

[Taylor hallucinating]

Taylor: I'll follow you.

Taylor: What are you doing?

Taylor: (Giggles)

Ridge: Well, it's not gold, but it's a start. 1948. This stuff's been here a long time.

Brooke: Thank you. Hope sent a text. She said she'll pick up R.J. from karate.

Ridge: Great. That gives us a chance to talk.

Brooke: (Sighs) I know you want me to open up about what happened on that island.

Ridge: I don't want you to do anything else but recover. I just think it's good if you talk about it.

Brooke: (Sighs) I just feel so guilty.

Ridge: Why? For what?

Brooke: (Sighs) I-I know how much work you have, and here you are here with me.

Ridge: That's right. Here I am. Right where I need to be. There's noting more important than me being here with you. Are you sure you don't, uh, feel guilty about something else?

Brooke: I... (Sighs) I don't know what you mean by that.

Ridge: Surviving the plane crash when others didn't-- it's perfectly natural to feel that feeling of guilt about that. And, yes, I did come home because I wanted to talk with you. I wanted you to open up about your feelings, not keep everything bottled up inside of you. Brooke, I want to help you get through this.

Lesley: You probably don't believe me.

Thomas: No, I believe you.

Lesley: How many of these berries did you bring home? They're very powerful, Thomas, even one. You need to get rid of hem all.

Thomas: Okay, I-I will.

Lesley: I'm serious, Thomas. If you think it's worth a try, then--

Thomas: I'm not. Really, I-I was just curious about what these were. Look, I'm not--I'm not stupid. There's no way I'm messing with these things.

Whip: Are you all right, Hon?

Taylor: (Sighs) (Chuckles)

[Taylor  hallucinating]

(Waves crashing)

Taylor: (Laughs) Ridge Forrester, I only have one question how's a girl supposed to react to all this?

Ridge: By being hungry.

Taylor: I shouldn't have asked.

Ridge: Here. Try one of these. A local medicine man tells me that it's an aphrodisiac.

Taylor: No, thank you.

Ridge: (Laughs)

Taylor: (Laughs)

Ridge: Ooh, shh, shh, shh. You hear that? Distant drums.

Taylor: Oh, no, we're going to be captured and thrown into giant stewing pots.

Ridge: Better than that. Come on!

Taylor: (Laughs)

(Upbeat steel drum music)

(Upbeat rock music playing )

Taylor: (Laughs)

Ridge: Put it on.

Taylor: You.

Ridge: You never answered me before. I want you to be my wife.

Taylor: You want to marry me?

Ridge: Yes. I want to marry you, and I won't take no for an answer.

Taylor: I never said no.

Ridge: All right, so you're telling me the answer is yes then?

Taylor: I want to hear the words, Ridge.

Ridge: I love you, Doctor.

Taylor: I want to hear you say that again.

Ridge: I... love... you.

Taylor: And you want me?

Ridge: And I want you.

Taylor: And I'm the most important woman in the world to you.

Ridge: You're the most important woman in my life.

Taylor: You want my answer?

Ridge: Yes. I want your answer.

Taylor: Yes. Yes, I will marry you. I want so much to marry you, Ridge. (Sighs)

Whip: Honey? Honey, what's the matter? Sweetheart? Taylor?

Taylor: (Groans)

Whip: Taylor? Taylor? Taylor! Taylor, what's wrong? Sweetheart, what's wrong? Taylor, speak to me.

Taylor: (Gasps)

Whip: Taylor!

Brooke: Your support makes all the difference. Just please know that. And don't get frustrated with me if it seems like I'm not opening up.

Ridge: I'm not frustrated, Logan. If--I--that's the last thing I want you to think.

Brooke: I know. But you're trying so hard to understand what I went through, and it breaks my heart.

Ridge: Why?

Brooke: In a good way. (Sighs) I-I really do want to tell you what happened on that island. It's just... (Sighs) Gosh, it's a lot to process. I'm trying to figure it out in y own head right now. I mean, there's just so much... (Chuckles) So much to try to explain.

Ridge: I know. Well, I'm not pressuring you. I just want to be for you whatever you need me to be. If you need me to talk to, I'm there. If you need me to hold you, that's even better. I hold you as long as you need me to.

Brooke: Thank you. (Sighs) Okay. Okay, you know what? I-I guess I'll start from the very beginning... (Sniffles) The plane crash.

Ridge: Okay. Look, I'm gonna get you some more tea. Then we can start, just know that you're safe, okay?

Brooke: (Sighs)

Ridge: It's safe to say anything you want to me. All right? Be right back.

Brooke: (Sighs)

(Cell phone rings)

Brooke: (Sighs)

(Ring)

Brooke: Hello?

Thomas: Good news.

Brooke: About what?

Thomas: We don't have to worry about any residual effects from the berries. Okay, there are none. I had them examined by a friend of mine.

Brooke: Had them examined? How did you do that?

Thomas: I brought some back.

Brooke: What?!

Thomas: I needed to know, okay, what we were on, if it was gonna hurt us. Anyway, my--my friend's a chemist. She really knows her stuff, okay? I trust her.

Brooke: (Scoffs) What do you mean? You told her?

Thomas: No, no, of course not. Nobody can ever find out.

Brooke: We don't even know what we did, and it was probably nothing, but keeping it a secret makes it even worse.

Thomas: We're not talking about it because you know how Dad would react.

Brooke: Okay, what did your friend say?

Thomas: Everything we already knew. The berries are hallucinogenic, uh, they make people... excited, so to speak.

Brooke: Well, I guess that would explain-what we were feeling, why we were mesmerized with each other and euphoric. Look, do you think your friend would be able to explain this to Ridge?

Thomas: No. Dad won't understand, Brooke.

Brooke: Thomas, I really think he would, and I can't keep this a secret from him any longer. You know that.

Thomas: Don't tell him. Please.

Brooke: (Sighs) I gotta go. Thanks for calling.

Ridge: Who was that?

Brooke: Thomas.

Ridge: What was he saying, something about Taboo?

Brooke: Yes. It was Taboo.

Ridge: It kind of worries me how he's jumping right back into work so soon.

Brooke: Thomas is strong.

Ridge: I should tell him to not bother you.

Brooke: No. No, don't do that. Just be there for him and be supportive.

Ridge: Of course.

Brooke: You're his father. You love him unconditionally.

Ridge: That is obvious.

Brooke: It is to us, but sometimes we forget to show it to our children.

Ridge: Yeah, I'll remind him then. After almost losing you two, I don't mind telling you that every day.

Brooke: Mm. After surviving that plane crash and being on that island, I just want to tell the people that I love how much I are about them every single day. These moments mean so much to me-- just to be here with you like this, holding your hand. It's those small moments that we take for granted. And every single breath in life is really just so special. (Sighs) Life is too damn short. (Chuckles) You know, I thought about that a lot, that I'd be there on the island, and I'd just be wasting away and disappear, and I wouldn't be able to say "I love you" one more time to you to the kids. I cried about that a lot. (Chuckles) But I also cried in joy because of the time that ... I have had do spend with you...just being with you and loving you, the person that I love so much and who respects me and loves me and forgives me. I'm ready... (Sighs) To talk about the plane crash...and those horrible days that followed.

Whip: No, she's getting worse. They're almost here? W-well, tell them to hurry.

Thomas: What--

(Sirens wail in distance)

Whip: Yes, yes, I can hear them.

Thomas: What's going on?

Whip: I don't know. I don't know. Sweetheart, breathe.

Thomas: Mom? Hey, Mom?

Whip: Taylor, you need to breathe.

Thomas: What happened?

Whip: I don't know. I don't know. All of a sudden--she was fine, and then--and then she started getting sick, and it's like--I don't know, it's like she was poisoned or something.

Thomas: The berries.

Whip: What?

(Van doors shut)

Thomas: She was eating the berries.

Whip: What are you talking about? I don't understand.

Thomas: Earlier today, she was eating berries and--and then, um...

Whip: Thomas, then what?

Thomas: Something must have happened, because she must have eaten the ones I brought back.

Whip: (Stammers) Brought back from where? What?

Thomas: I brought these berries back from the island. I'm sorry. Was she acting, uh, was she acting weird, different, seeing things?

Whip: What? I don't-- I don't-I don't understand.

Man: What's going on?

Thomas: I'm sorry, Mom. Mom?

Whip: Listen, my--my wife-- she can't breathe.

Man: Pulse is low.

Man: All right.

Whip: He said something about--about some berries. I don't know.

Man: Like something she ate?

Whip: I-I don't know. Thomas?

Thomas: Uh, she accidentally ate some berries I brought back from an island.

Man: This could be an allergic reaction we need to get going.

Taylor: (Gasping)

Whip: Oh, God.

Man: Help me hook up the oxygen, please.

Whip: Yes, please, could you hurry?

Man: We're doing our best, Sir. Please relax, Sir.

Whip: Please. Please save my wife.

Thomas: She's gonna be fine.

Taylor: (Gasping)

Whip: Hang on, Taylor, please. Come on. Come on, Sweetheart. Please.
