Taylor: You're very hurt, and--and you're very-- you're clearly afraid.
Brooke: Wouldn't anybody be?
Taylor: The plane went down. It wasn't your fault, and there isn't any threat to you now. Whatever it is that you went through on that island is haunting you, Brooke, and you've gotta get it out. You have to before you can really come home to your family and Ridge.
(Knock on door)
Ridge: Thank you for comin'.
Dayzee: Yeah, no problem. Um, I was actually at the café when they told me it was Mr. Forrester calling. I just--
Ridge: Oh, you thought it was Thomas.
Dayzee: Yeah. (Chuckles)
Ridge: Well, I can solve that one right off the bat here. Just call me Ridge. So, uh, did you bring me something?
Dayzee: Yes. It is... the dress that Thomas designed for me.
Ridge: Doesn't it fit?
Dayzee: Oh, yeah, it fits.
Ridge: So you brought it because....
Ridge: Is that why you thought I was calling you?
Dayzee: Y-yeah. I'm sorry. I-I honestly couldn't think of any other reason why you would want to see me other than to--
Ridge: Ah. Okay. Actually, Dayzee, I want you to do something for me. And I think you are probably the only person who can do it.
Oliver: You about ready?
Hope: Mm-hmm. I'm just charging my phone.
Oliver: Hope, is this who you want to be now-- someone who's waitin' by phone for someone who's not calling?
Hope: He'll text me right back. He always does.
Liam: (Sighs) I'm sorry. I'm just--I-I don't think I'm ready to-=to--
Amber: (Laughs) Stop. This is insane. I mean, being together, you holding me like this-- this is good for now, and for our baby.
(Knock on door)
Tawny: Oh, here. I thought you two might-- oh! Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt.
Amber: Obviously, Mother, it is not okay to come barging into my bedroom!
Liam: Uh, I'm just-- let me just grab my shirt.
Tawny: Uh, no, no, Liam. Liam, I need your help.
Liam: Okay, well, can I get my shirt on? I mean--
Tawny: Uh, yeah, no, uh, see, Amber is not following doctor's orders.
Amber: What--what orders are you talking about?
Tawny: Oh, that you're supposed to eat, uh, once every two to three hours. You know, that baby inside of her is growing and needs nourishment, so please, would you talk some sense into the mother of your child?
Amber: Mother, will you stop it, please? You're drivin' me nuts. Really, I'm so sorry. I just I-- I don't know why she feels...
Amber: That she's entitled to just walk in wherever she wants to anytime she wants to be there.
Hope: Just a few more minutes, okay?
Hope: It's just-- you know how it is once you get on the road and start driving.
Oliver: Yeah, yeah. All those hills. If he calls, you might miss him.
Hope: You think I'm being so ridiculous, don't you?
Oliver: I think this all very hard on you.
Oliver: And it's hard on Liam, too. You're sending him mixed messages, and I don't even think you know you're doing it.
Ridge: You saw my son when we brought him home. Did he seem like himself?
Dayzee: Yes and no.
Ridge: I think as the, uh, the shock kind of wears off, he and my wife are having a hard time adjusting to what happened to them. And I know that you're good at uh, you know, helping people who have been in traumatic situations.
Dayzee: N-not like this, though.
Ridge: There aren't many people that Thomas feels close enough to feel like he can confide in them. What I'm asking you is, would you be that person?
Taylor: Brooke, you were in a plane crash. You went down into the ocean in the middle of the sea in the night. You were hanging onto wreckage, trying to survive, Brooke. You almost drowned. Thomas saved you. A-and then you were stranded. You were washed up on an island for days. You were dying of thirst. You had to be starving, Brooke. Please, talk to me about it. Talk to me, Brooke!
Brooke: Taylor, why are you getting into this?
Taylor: It's a miracle you survived.
Brooke: Yes, it is, and it was horrible, and now it's over.
Taylor: And I'm sure all you could think about was getting back home to your family, right?
Taylor: But you're still not able to do it, Brooke. Look at you. You're not able to be here for your family because you are trapped in that experience.
Brooke: I just haven't been sleeping that well. That's all.
Taylor: What is it? What is it that terrifies you? Brooke, when you close your eyes at night, what is it that you see that terrifies you so?
Amber: Does my mom know how to ruin an evening or what?
Liam: I think you were a little hard on her.
Amber: She'll be fine.
Liam: Well, I mean, I think you should go out there and patch things up.
Amber: Are you telling me what to do now, hmm, how to talk to my own mother?
Liam: No, I'm ju-- (Scoffs) I'm just telling you what I think.
Amber: All right, lord and master, I'll go patch things up with my mom.
Liam: Um, hey, I-I-- I could have sworn it was right here, but I think I-- I-I can't find my phone.
Amber: Oh, well, I'll look and see if it's out there. You and that phone-- I ought to super glue it to your leg.
Liam: Please don't.
Tawny: Oh. (Chuckles) You know, these Smartphone games, they are so addictive.
Amber: That's Liam's phone. What are you doing with it?
Tawny: Oh, nothing. Nothing. Just, uh, distracting myself.
Dayzee: Anything that I can do for Thomas, I will.
Ridge: I was hoping you'd say that.
Dayzee: M-hmm. But I can't promise that the next time I see him, you know will be the right time.
Ridge: I think I can help with that, too. See, I've arranged a little special dinner for you and Thomas tonight.
Dayzee: (Laughs) You and your son-- you love surprises.
Dayzee: Um, okay. Well, I still have to close up at the shop, so...
Ridge: I've talked with my mother already. She's willing to do that for you.
Dayzee: Okay, um, well, I'll just have to go home and change.
Ridge: No, you won't actually have to go home and change at all. You can change here.
(Knock on door)
Woman: Ready for us?
Ridge: Yes, come on in. Dayzee, this is Marianne. She does all the makeup for our models. And Terry does the hair styling.
Marianne: Uh, Sophia told me to bring this.
Ridge: Excellent. Excellent. Thank you. You did say yes to dinner, correct?
Dayzee: Yes, okay.
Thomas: She asked you for therapy? 'Cause it looks like she wants you to leave.
Taylor: I really don't understand why you're eavesdropping, Thomas. She's very upset. I can--I can see that Brooke needs someone to talk to.
Thomas: Mom, why would Brooke want to confide in you? It must sound to her like you're harping on the same old situation-- "What were you doing all that time alone with my son?"
Taylor: Oh, that is not what I was doing, Thomas.
Thomas: The truth is, neither of us wanted that plane to go down and those two men to die, leaving us adrift in the middle of the ocean.
Brooke: Taylor, if I can't answer your questions, it's because I don't have any answers. And I-I'm fine I mean, as fine as I'm going to be right now.
Taylor: Okay. I'll send you those, uh, referrals I promised.
Taylor: I really was only trying to help, Brooke.
Brooke: Thank you.
Thomas: Referral names?
Brooke: She thinks I need to be in counseling.
Thomas: Maybe you do.
Brooke: No, no, Thomas. What I need is to be completely honest with my husband. Finally, our relationship has full transparency, and I don't want to give that up. I can't keep any more secrets from him, and I won't.
Hope: (Sighs) I guess if he were gonna call or text me back, he would have.
Oliver: All right, I don't mind if you want to wait. I don't want you to think for, like, one second I've--I've lifted one finger to get between you and Liam.
Oliver: Not that there haven't been moments... (Chuckles) Never mind.
Hope: Oliver, be honest. How unhappy am I making you?
Oliver: You're not, (Chuckles) Uh, life makes a lot of choices for you, and you can't always get what you want. And even when you have something, you--you can lose it. But if you keep standing next to something, you're not out of the running. (Chuckles) And you just might be there at the right time.
Hope: (Echoing) No, Liam, I'm with Oliver now, my boyfriend. You're with Amber and her baby. I'm with Oliver. No more words please. You should move in with Amber, make a life with her.
Liam: (Sighs) (Sighs)
Liam: Hey, uh, Katie, um, is my dad there?
Katie: Oh, no, I'm sorry. He had a late meeting with Justin. Do you want to leave him a message? Liam, are you okay?
Liam: (Sighs) Hope is, um... fed up. She wants to move on with Oliver. You know, I-I don't blame her. You know, I asked her to wait, but, like, for what? Um... (Stammers) It seems like there's-- there's, you know, lots of room here at the Malibu house. But, uh, if you and Dad are planning on moving in sometime soon...
Katie: Oh, uh, no. I don't think so for a lot of reasons. So if you want the house, I'm sure your father would give it to you.
Liam: I can't really get what I want. That's not consideration but... thanks, Katie.
Katie: You're welcome.
Whip: Now I'm laying in wait.
Taylor: (Gasps) Oh, you scared the heck out of me. (Chuckles)
Whip: (Grunts) Hi, remember me? I live here.
Whip: I'm the guy who was waiting patiently while you were off in the South Pacific...
Taylor: I'm sorry.
Whip: Performing acts of heroism in parenthood.
Taylor: I am so sorry. I got delayed. I'm sorry.
Whip: That's okay. (Sighs) Well, I'm glad Brooke felt, uh, comfortable enough to be able to open up to you.
Taylor: That's not exactly the way it went.
Brooke: (Sighs) Keeping a secret only makes it worse. Besides, your mother's not gonna stop. She's gonna keep pushing me to go to therapy.
Thomas: Okay, fine. I will talk to her.
Brooke: No, no, that's not gonna help. It's always this way. Whenever I'm lying, Taylor can always tell she's the first one to know.
Thomas: Brooke, we aren't lying, okay? We don't know that we did anything wrong. We weren't in our right minds.
Brooke: Well, then why not tell Ridge?
Thomas: Look, you know why.
Brooke: I haven't been a perfect wife, but whenever I-I fail, he always seems to understand.
Thomas: I'm his son. This he will not understand, and you know it.
Brooke: Ridge told me once...
Thomas: Told you what?
Brooke: That if I ever crossed the line with you, that would be the end.
(Cell phone alert chimes)
Hope: Oh, that's him. That's him. It has to be him.
Oliver: Is that him? You okay?
Hope: He says that I should move on. That he has a family now and that I should move on with you.
Oliver: I'm sorry. I didn't want this to happen that way.
Hope: You know what? Can I just have a minute?
Oliver: I'll-- I'll be downstairs.
Amber: My crazy mother.
Liam: Did you-- did you find it, my phone?
Amber: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was--it was out there, sorry. I just forgot to grab it.
Liam: No, that's okay. I, um, I needed to make a phone call, but I remembered the number, so... uh, so it's lookin' like my dad and Katie are not moving in here any time soon.
Amber: Oh, well... (Chuckles) I guess I won't pretend that I'm not glad about that. (Chuckles)
Liam: Um, I was, uh, I was thinking about your suggestion.
Amber: What suggestion is that?
Liam: Me moving in with you. I think it's a good idea... if that's okay. If it's okay.
Amber: (Laughs) Is it okay? Okay? (Giggles) Nothing would make me happier in this whole entire world. Oh, my God, I'm gonna clean out half the closet for you. I am.
Liam: No, no, no, whoa, whoa, whoa, Amber, this is not a conversation about us sharing a bed. That's not--
Amber: Well, where else would you want to sleep except next to me and the baby?
Liam: Amber, this is not that conversation. The place is ours.
Amber: Okay, okay, okay. Whatever you say. Oh, my gosh. I am so unbelievably happy. This--this is just-- I am gonna make you so happy. Mwah. (Sighs)
Liam: Okay. Okay.
Thomas: Hey. Dad's not gonna leave you. He loves you like crazy.
Brooke: I promised him no more secrets.
Thomas: Brooke, nothing happened. There's no point in telling him.
Brooke: There were extreme extenuating circumstances.
Thomas: All the more reason not to say anything.
Brooke: All the more reason to say something, to be open and honest.
Thomas: How are we gonna explain something to him that we don't even know for ourselves?
Brooke: We blacked out, and that makes me ill at ease.
Thomas: Come on. Just put it out of your mind, okay?
Brooke: (Sighs) I can't.
Thomas: So what are you gonna tell him-- that we connected, that--that I kissed you?
Brooke: I just don't want there to be any more secrets.
Thomas: We were drugged out of our minds, okay? Dad's not gonna understand that.
Brooke: Yes, yes, we were caught up in something--
Thomas: Yeah, a powerful drug.
Brooke: But we didn't kiss. Our lips never met.
Thomas: Will he believe that?
Brooke: It's the truth.
Thomas: (Scoffs) You sure?
Brooke: (Sighs) Oh, I wish the clarity would come back.
Thomas: So do I, but it hasn't. Look, I would know if something had happened.
Brooke: Right, yeah. I agree. So that's why Ridge needs to know. He needs to know that we ate berries and that we were hallucinating, and that we--we had some intimate moments. But don't you see, Thomas? This is a triumph for us. We were tested on that island. You have a younger mind. If we had crossed the line, you would know. You would remember, right? But you don't. So that tells me that nothing happened. We have to tell Ridge. We have to be truthful with him. We have to just tell him for all of our sakes, please.
Thomas: Brooke, no, we can't. This is something Dad doesn't need to know.
Ridge: What don't I need to know?
