Bill: Katie, I love you, and I want you to come home with me. Now I'm not going to stand here and discuss our marital issues in front of your sisters any longer.

Brooke: We're not talking about your marital issues, bill. We're talking about your anger issues.

Bill: I told you. This is between my wife and me.

Donna: You're married to our sister, Bill. We're concerned about her.

Bill: Katie I don't need therapy

Brooke: you don't want to change, and that's a problem.

Bill: Change into what? Your idea of the perfect husband? What might that be? Hmm, ridge? Who has no problem with you cavorting with is son?

Brooke: Ridge would never contemplate murder.

Bill: Really? Are you sure about that? Even if he believed his son's life was being threatened? I was protecting my son, and I will not apologize for that.

Katie: Bill, do you really believe that amber is a threat to Liam's life? Really?

Bill: I did at the time, Katie, and so did you. You're the one who brought it up. Now look, I-I have explained myself ad nauseam. I had never done anything like that in my life. It was an isolated incident, and it's behind us now.

Katie: Is it really? (Sighs) I-just don't understand why you're so scared to go talk to someone. The bill I know isn't afraid of anything. It's just therapy. It's all I'm asking. I know you love me. Do this for me, bill, please. Please, I'm begging you.

Thomas: You really got it for this guy.

Steffy: Why do you look surprised?

Thomas: I don't see you as a home wrecker.

Steffy: Oh, come on. Kate walked out on him again. I told you that.

Thomas: You need to watch it, Steffy she's still married to him.

Steffy: Well, she doesn't know the first thing bout being a wife to bill, all right?

Thomas: And you do?

Steffy: Oh, I know exactly what that man needs.

Thomas: (Scoffs)

Steffy: And he's exactly what I need. (Meows)

Thomas: What you need is a slap upside the head. But, you know what? Maybe that's why bill appeals to you.

Steffy: Uh, okay| he's no an animal, Thomas.

Thomas: Right. He's just a cuddly teddy bear.

Steffy: No, he's a bad boy-- tough, nasty, defends his turf to the death.

Thomas: Death?

Steffy: Okay, slight overstatement.

Thomas: Maybe not.

Steffy: Look, my point is nobody can tame him, all right? Least of all Katie.

Thomas: All right, is that their problem? That Katie is trying to tame him?

Steffy: No, she just doesn't understand him, and she never will.

Thomas: All right, I've already asked this before, but as e dono th he doesn't understand?

Steffy: An I told you before, I'm not gonna rat him out.

Thomas: So he's sharing his dark, ugly secrets with you? How charming

Steffy: No. No, I-I kind of found you on my own.

Thomas: (Scoffs) it sounds like you're stalking the guy.

Steffy: No, I'm protecting him.

Thomas: From who?

Steffy: Himself. Look, he has this pathetic notion that Katie's just gonna get head on straight, and she's just gonna accept him for who he is.

Thomas: You call it pathetic, but I call it a guy who still loves his wife.

Steffy: No, guy who doesn't want to lose his wife because he doesn't like to lose. And, hey, neither do I.

Thomas: Sounds like a match made in heaven. Or hell.

Ill: You know how this makes me feel standing in front of your sisters, defending myself as a husband? Why would you do this to me?

Katie: Bill...

Donna: How can you expect Katie just to brush this off?

Bill: I'm asking for a little understanding. I really don't appreciate the position you've put me in, Katie. This is between you and me. I made that really clear. Now you've brought "Lucy" and "Ethel" into it, and who knows who they're gonna tell. You think I want y sonfnint aoui he's in crisis. I don't want him o fn--

Katie: I don't want Liam to int about this either. But if he did, I know he would want you to get help, just as I do. This is a serious problem, bill. You have to talk to someone. I truly believe that your life depends on it, and our relationship certainly does.

Bill: I was wrong. I have old you tat. I've made that clear. I've apologized for it and you were wrong for talking to your sisters about this, and you have not apologized for that. I won't discuss this any further in front of your sisters.

Brooke: Oh, honey.

Thomas: You're forgetting bill Spencer married Katie because of who she is. It's not like he was duped or anything.

Steffy: Okay, he made a mistake. But even bill has his weak moments.

Thomas: Oh, my gosh, Steffy. you're making a mistake if you continue pursuing this guy.

Steffy: No, I'll be making a mistake if I don't follow my instincts, if I deny my feelings, and for what? To respect an unhealthy marriage? I mean, come in. I cave in so much more than Katie as eveven him.

Thomas: Come on, Steffy, what are you gonna give him? A good time in bed? You don't need to help him be a shark. He was born that way.

Steffy: No, he needs someone to help him fulfill his dreams and put him in the right direction not--not to put a bunch of road blocks in front of him. Look, I feel that we're meant to be together, and there is nothing you can say to convince me otherwise. Katie is just a speed bump.

Thomas: So why is he trying so hard to get her back?

Steffy: Because he doesn't like to lose buI time, he just

Thomas: why?

Steffy: Because he'll do anything to protect his family, all right? And Katie doesn't like it.

Thomas: Which was what?

Steffy: Nice try, but I'm not gonna you

Thomas: Right

Steffy: I just don't even understand what she's fighting him for.

Thomas: Maybe... he'll cave.

Steffy: Then he's not the man I think he is, and I'm never wrong when it comes to men you know I think I should go prove it.

Brooke: Where's Katie?

Donna: I don't know. I was in the kitchen on the phone with Justin. Ck and she was gone.

Brooke: We came to protect her, donna. This is worse than I thought.

Donna: (Sighs)

Brooke: You should have said something to me.

Donna: I-I was sworn to secrecy.

Brooke: Bill had it in his mind to kill Amber. If he could do that, what else is he capable of?

Steffy: Don't even say it. I'm the last person you want to see.

Bill: what do you want, Steffy?

Steffy: Well, I have a business proposition for you.

Bill: Business, huh? Well, how refreshing. Please.

Steffy: I want to be on the catwalk

Bill: You want to be on television?

Steffy: No, I want to sell lots of lingerie. The bedroom line is the best, so I want to come out with another campaign that's second to none. I'll give you an exclusive if you give me the cover.

Bill: Wow, what windfall for me.

Steffy: My, y, sarcasm. Bad day?

Ill: No different than yesterday.

Steffy: Has the little wife returned home yet?

Bill: She's staying at Brooke's.

Steffy: Oh, god that believable I trust her that she's not saying anything to her sisters.

Bill: She already has.

Steffy: She said something to Brooke and donna? Did she say something about amber and everything that you're planning?

Bill: Yep.

Steffy: Oh, my god. She betrayed you again.

Bill: Really, I don't need you pointing out the obvious, Steffy.

Steffy: Well, is she coming back?

Bill: She still want m in therapy

Steffy: Oh, my god, she is trying to mold you into something that you're not. Bill, you are perfect the way you are, and if she doesn't like it, cut her loose.

Katie: Are you finished? It's really not smart to interfere n my marriage. And I always thought you were such a smart girl. I realize you're bored because you've never really had to work for anything, but I'm not gonna let you cause problems just so you have something to do.

Steffy: Oh, I'm causing problems? Have you looked in the mirror lately? You are the problem, Katie. Look, you're not even sleeping in the same bed as your husband.

Bill: All right, that's enough, Steffy.

Steffy: No, come on.

Bill: Get out. Out!

Steffy: You don't deserve him.

Bill: Temper, temper, Katie.

Brooke: I don't want to believe that bill could ever actually harm Katie

Donna: Look, he has anger issues, Brooke. We don't know what could set him off. I mean, he doesn't even know.

Brooke: And rage is like a time bomb. It could go off at any moment.

Donna: And I'm afraid that if he doesn't get help, sooner or later, he's gonna take it out on her.

Brooke: Why doesn't he go to therapy? What is h so afraid of?

Donna: (Scoffs) finding out the truth about himself, I guess. You know, bill Spencer will never be seen in a psychiatrist's office. He--he's just too damn stubborn. You know, I wish--I wish Katie would just leave him.

Brooke: Katie loves him and you know her. I mean, she is stubborn, too. She probably thinks that she can change him.

Donna: And if she can't?

Brooke: I don't know. I just op god she doesn't compromise.

Katie: This is how you're spending your evenings?

Bill: I didn't invite Steffy. She just showed up.

Katie: Of course she did, like some pretty, little vulture hovering over a dead body.

Bill: I'm glad you're here.

Katie: We could use some privacy.

Bill: Katie, you shouldn't have told Brooke and donna about what happened.

Katie: (Sighs) are we comparing confidants, bill? Because I'll take my sisters over Steffy Forrester any day. We have a problem, and we need to solve it.

Bill: I agree. Come home and we will.

Katie: No, that's not the solution. That's just ignoring the problem.

Bill: Katie, damn it, I'm not going to go to therapy. I don't need to go for therapy.

Katie: Not going to therapy is not an option, bill

not making the same mistake I made wit brother. I won't do it. I will not be a silent partner in your destruction. I love you too much. I am not gonna stand by and watch you become a victim to your own anger.

Bill: A-a victim? I'm not a victim and I never will be.

Katie: Listen, anger management is-- is not something you can do on your own.

Bill: Anger man-- (laughs)

Katie: You--you need to learn the techniques to deal with it, the triggers. You don't have to do this by yourself( bill.

Bill: anger management? Would this be your-- your clinical diagnosis? I've done a pretty good job of managing my anger. And quite frankly, it as served me we on many occasions over the years. Now this company would no where it is today if I couldn't effectively manage my anger. I'm managing it right now.

Bill: Maybe I have an issue too. Who doesn't, Katie? But the only issue I care about right now is my wife and getting her back in our home where she belongs.

Bill: I never believed that I would find a woman that I would marry until I found you. And I am very happy in our marriage, Katie, and I don't want to lose it.

Bill: I didn't just say our wedding vows. I meant them, every word. I am completely committed to you and to solving every problem that comes our way together. I've given you my heart.

Katie: (Sighs)

Bill: I've given you my support, and I'm asking the same in return. Now come home to me. Forget all this therapy nonsense. It's not what I need I need my wife standing by my side. That's what I need.

Katie: I am standing by your side by insisting that you get help.

Katie: (Sighs) bill, I don't want to change you. I love your passion. I love your strength. I love your loyalty to the ones you love. But you have got to deal with this before something else happens. Bill, it might not be so easy to ignore it next time. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. But I can't come home. I can't come home until you agree to get help. I just can't. I can't. I can't

Bill: Katie,

Katie: I'm sorry.

(Door opens)

Katie: (Sighs)

Brooke: Oh, thank god you're back.

Donna: Katie, honey are you okay?

Katie: No.

Donna: You went to see him.

Brooke: Did he agree to get help?

Katie: No, it's not in his nature. I guess I should have known that.

Donna: You didn't go back to him.

Katie: Led away I left him completely alone.

Steffy: She walked out on you again, huh? Bill, I'm sorry.

Bill: I doubt that.

Steffy: Look, I see what it does to you every time she leaves you. I just--

Bill: I-I really don't want to ear a-a lecture on my abandonment issues, Steffy.

Steffy: (Sighs) bill, I'm not trying to lecture you, okay? And look, you are not abandoned. I'm here.

Bill: I am in love with my wife.

Steffy: Well, the funny thing about love is it's--it's kind of like a friendship. It stops growing if it's not reciprocated.

Bill: I'll remember that. Now beat it.

Steffy: What, and walk out on you like Katie?

Bill: Enough, Steffy. I don't want to hear it. Now get out!

Steffy: No, just listen to me.

Bill: What?!

Steffy: Please do not put yourself through this. I'm--I' Liu, bill. You. We want the same things out of life. We want control. We want success, and you know what? We want unconditional love. Bill, I want to be-- I want t one with you, and I want to reward you with a gift no woman has ever given you before... Steffy: My complete loyalty, my body. I want to give you my soul. I want to give you all my love.
