Woman: These are really beautiful, Mr. Forrester.
Ridge: Thank you. Thank you very much. This one has to come above the waist.
Woman: Haven't seen Thomas yet this morning. Do you now if he's in yet?
Ridge: He should be. It's a workday.
Woman: If you can't already tell, she has a huge crush on your son.
Woman: Who doesn't? He's gorgeous and super talented.
Woman: Oh, we've been hearing the rumors about, uh, Taboo for women. I'm dying to see his line.
Woman: Me, too. Me, too. Any idea when?
Ridge: All right, thank you, Ladies. I think we're done for today. Give that to Ursula on your way out.
Ridge: Uh, thank you. Thank you.
Ridge: Okay, perfect timing come here.
Brooke: Well, this talk about the women's line-- you can't be very happy about it.
Ridge: I just seem to be disappointing a lot of people-- Dad, Thorne, you, especially Thomas.
Brooke: I know you're torn.
Ridge: Look, I just... I can't allow him to move forward with a line that I no longer really believe in. I'm not comfortable with it.
Brooke: I know. And as C.E.O., you have to follow your convictions, even if it means disappointing people that you love.
(Knock on door)
Thomas: Come in.
Thomas: Dayzee, you're here.
Dayzee: Yes, I'm not sure why.
Thomas: Because I invited you.
Dayzee: Right, yes. You did sound a little mysterious when you were telling me to come over.
Thomas: Doesn't mystery make a man more attractive?
Dayzee: Mm, Thomas, if you were any more attractive, it'd be painful.
Thomas: Ah, thanks for keeping me humble.
Dayzee: Humility is not exactly your strong suit.
Thomas: You're right. I'll have to work on that.
Dayzee: Is that your design?
Thomas: Do you like it?
Dayzee: Yeah, it's gorgeous.
Liam: I, uh... I, uh, left you a bunch of messages.
Hope: I know. I know.
Liam: I'm really surprised you're here.
Hope: I'm sorry. I should have returned your calls.
Liam: No. No sweat.
Hope: I just, um, I needed some time, but I'm ready now.
Thomas: You really mean it?
Dayzee: I do. It's beautiful.
Thomas: Good, because it's yours.
Thomas: Here it is. You gonna say anything?
Thomas: That's it?
Dayzee: (Sighs) I don't know what to say.
Thomas: That is a first.
Dayzee: (Laughs) Thomas, this gown, it's-- it's gorgeous, but where am I gonna wear this?
Thomas: You're gonna wear it to go out with me. The annual May fashion gala's coming up, and I want you to be my date.
Thomas: I know you don't like these things very much, but, Dayzee, I want you with me.
Dayzee: Yes, I'd love to.
Dayzee: I would love to go.
Thomas: You're saying yes?
Dayzee: (Laughs) Are you having trouble with your ears today?
Thomas: No, no, I'm just having trouble believing what I heard. You've changed your mind about me. That's fantastic.
Dayzee: Yeah, I'm ready, Thomas. I-I want to see you, you know, be your girlfriend.
Ridge: I'm C.E.O of this company. Dad turned the reins over to me because he trusted me.
Brooke: He still does.
Ridge: Not as far as the Taboo for women line goes.
Brooke: You and your father have different points of view. He thinks it would be the right move to do the women's line for the company, and you don't.
Ridge: This is not just about business, though. Dad actually thinks I'm retaliating against Thomas because he kissed you on the way back from Paris.
Brooke: (Sighs) Is he right?
Dayzee: (Clears throat) Well.
Thomas: Look at you.
Dayzee: (Sighs) This dress is, uh, it's gorgeous.
Thomas: I got the fit right, didn't I?
Dayzee: Yes, you did. How did you know?
Thomas: I'm a fashion designer. That's what I do, and what I want to do is dress women.
Summer: Thomas, I-- oh, sorry to interrupt
Thomas: S-Summer, can I help you?
Summer: Excuse me. I don't think we've met before.
Thomas: S-sorry. Summer, Dayzee. Dayzee, Summer.
Thomas: Can I help you with something?
Summer: I thought there was some sort of hold on the women's line. But I hope you're still considering me for lead model, unless...
Dayzee: Oh, God, no. I am no model.
Summer: Well, I just thought, since you're wearing the dress...
Thomas: It's a gift.
Summer: Oh, I see. Well, I won't bother you anymore.
Dayzee: Oh, God, no, you're not bothering us.
Summer: Thomas, can we talk later?
Dayzee: I do not think that she liked walking in on us kissing.
Thomas: I got that feeling, too.
Dayzee: Is she someone special?
Thomas: She's terrific, beautiful... she's a good friend. You're somebody special.
Dayzee: Mm-hmm. (Chuckles)
Thomas: Mm. (Chuckles)
Dayzee: So what did Summer mean by, um, there was a hold up in the women's line?
Thomas: (Clears throat) Well, actually my dad and I are duking it out about that right now.
Ridge: Logan, I put a stop to Thomas's women's line because it's the right business decision, not because he kissed you on the jet.
Brooke: I respect your decision to cut the line. As C.E.O., it is your call. However, I don't completely agree with it.
Ridge: All I'm tying to do is look out for the company. But the way Thomas and my father spin it, they make me sound very insecure, like I'm trying to punish Thomas. I don't think that's good for our company. I don't think it's good for any of us.
Brooke: No, it's not fair to you, Ridge. But Thomas is very talented, remarkably so. It's in his genes. He thinks that you've lost faith in him, and I don't believe that. I know your decisions as C.E.O. have to be respected, and Thomas has definitely been outspoken lately, but I wish you could just find it within yourself to show some support and let him know that you still have confidence in him...
Brooke: It would mean the world to Thomas.
Hope: Let's be honest, Liam. Everything changed for us the second Amber got pregnant.
Liam: We could have worked through that.
Hope: I love you, Liam. I always will. But you are not mine anymore. You have to move on, as I am.
Liam: You are, aren't you?
Hope: Oliver's a good guy. He's been there for me.
Liam: Mm-hmm. Yeah. And, unlike me, he never slept with Amber, so...
Hope: I think... I think you slept with her because you wanted to give this baby a father. I think you wanted to learn to love your child's mother a-and to give him or her something that you never had growing up. I think that's why you did it. I saved myself, but you are with Amber now. This pain will go away eventually, but only if I move on with my life.
Liam: With Oliver.
Hope: Hey. Hey.
Ridge: Dad said that, too. Thomas--Thomas needs my support. Logan, I've thought about this all night long.
Brooke: I knew you were tossing and turning about something.
Ridge: Look, I'm sorry. I'm just not comfortable reversing this decision. I do believe that Thomas deserves to now how much he means to me, to this family and to this business.
Brooke: Well, right now, he's feeling shut out, like he's not a valued member of the company.
Ridge: Yeah, I know. I'm gonna change that.
Brooke: Ridge, what are you planning?
Ridge: I have had something in the back of my mind. I think now would be the time.
Brooke: (Laughs) That's all you're going to say?
Ridge: You'll see. You'll see.
Liam: You're the most incredible person I've ever met. You should hate me but you don't.
Hope: I'll make a deal with you, okay? From here on out, no more blame, okay? I'm--I'm not gonna blame you for what happened, and no more blaming yourself. No more feeling any guilt. I forgive you, Liam. Now you have to forgive yourself.
Dayzee: (Sighs) I'm sorry to hear that you and your dad are still feuding.
Thomas: Yeah, he cut my funding back and doesn't want to do the women's line.
Dayzee: I'm sorry.
Thomas: It's pretty clear he lost confidence.
Dayzee: That just doesn't make any sense. Your work seems great.
Thomas: It's simple.
Dayzee: (Sighs) And I'm sure you've tried talking to him.
Thomas: I have. My grandfather and Brooke are both on my side.
Dayzee: And he's still not listening?
Thomas: (Sighs) Well, he says he has sound business reasons, but... I think it's more than that.
Dayzee: Oh, you think that he is still punishing you for kissing Brooke?
Thomas: (Sighs) Of course. Look, I made a mistake, but he's still overreacting.
Dayzee: (Sighs) I don't know, Thomas. Brooke is his wife.
Thomas: I know. And I respect that. I just did a goofball thing.
Dayzee: Yes, you did.
Thomas: (Scoffs) I just want a chance to make my mark on the company.
Dayzee: Thomas, you're already doing that. Your men's line is a huge success.
Thomas: But I have no voice. I have no say in any decisions, and I'm not an owner, so I have zero power, and right now, I'm just an employee.
Dayzee: (Sighs) I don't know about that. Aren't you, like, the heir apparent?
Thomas: Sighs) Uh, I wonder sometimes 'cause I-I don't feel like it (Sighs) I know I want to design women's clothing.
Thomas: Because it's my dream...
Thomas: And I'm not gonna let anybody take that away from me.
Dayzee: You seem very passionate about it.
Thomas: I am.
Thomas: I am passionate about a lot of things.
Ridge: Oh sorry to interrupt.
Thomas: Dad, Brooke.
Brooke: Good to see you, Dayzee.
Dayzee: Thanks. You, too.
Ridge: Got a minute?
Dayzee: Yeah, um, I'll let you talk with your dad.
Thomas: No. Stay. Is that okay?
Thomas: So what's up?
Ridge: Uh, I don't like being at odds with you, Son. That is why I have, uh, made a decision.
Hope: This is one of those things in life that doesn't make sense right now, but...
Liam: How could this ever make sense?
Hope: Maybe it will when you're holding your little baby in your arms. All we can do is move forward with our lives. That's what we have to do.
Liam: It doesn't seem right, you know? I mean, you going in one direction, me going in... (Scoffs) Who knows where I'm going? Everything is crumbling down around me, and you're the only solid ground I've got, Hope. And... (Sighs)
Hope: Hey. If you need me, I'll be here for you. I will be your solid ground.
Ridge: Thomas, there's been far too much tension between us. I know you're upset because you're not an owner of the company, and your sister Steffy is.
Thomas: Can you blame me?
Ridge: No, I can't. But you've more than proven yourself, and in honor of your hard work and tremendous contributions, I want to give you 5% of the company of my 25% share.
Thomas: I--that's incredible. I-I ca--
Thomas: I can't believe it.
Ridge: Son, I want you to know you're an invaluable member of this family. And you've given an incredible contribution to the company.
Thomas: (Sighs) Thank you, Dad. I-I never expected this. This means a lot.
Ridge: The documents are being drawn up. I'm very proud of you, Son. You're no longer an employee. You're an owner.
Thomas: Wow. I'm not gonna let you down, Dad.
Ridge: I have tremendous faith in you, Son.
