Brooke: Good morning.

Hope: You're still here.

Brooke: Your father went to work, and I decided to stay behind for a little bit. So you were out late last night. Were you with Liam?

Hope: No, Mom. He was with Amber, the mother of his child.

Bill: Everything all right?

Liam: No. Everything's definitely not all right.

Bill: (Sighs)

Steffy: Hey. You think you can proof these for the meeting?

Oliver: Sure. (Sighs)

Steffy: I gave you a few notes, but the photos are really quite good. You have a way with that girl.

Oliver: Yeah, I do, don't I?

Steffy: Mm-hmm. Oh, wait a minute. Wait a minute. I see that smile. Oh, come on. Give me the details.

Oliver: All right, I uh

Steffy:  Uh huh.

Oliver: I guess you'll find out eventually.

Steffy: (Chuckles)

Oliver:  I um, I spent last night with Hope.

Steffy: Wait, you and Hope spent the night at your place?

Oliver: Yeah.

Steffy: Okay. How much of the night?

Oliver: Not all night, but--but we're gettin' there.

Steffy: Well, she needs someone, so be there for her.

Oliver: Yeah, I am. She knows that.

Steffy: So what's with Daddy Liam.

Oliver: Uh, he showed up last night.

Steffy: What? While you were with Hope?

Oliver: Yeah. It was pretty obvious we were, uh, makin' out, so...

Steffy: Oh, what did he say?

Oliver: He said he wasn't over it.

Steffy: Well, duh.

Oliver: Yeah, exactly, especially since Hope found out he made love with Amber.

Brooke: So you weren't with Liam? Where did you go last night?

Hope: Uh, I was with Oliver, actually.

Brooke: You must have enjoyed yourself. You were out late.

Hope: Yea, I did.  Then Liam showed up.

Bill: Tell me about it.

Liam: I had something beautiful, and, um, I messed it up.

Bill: Well, I know how that feels. You had an argument with Hope?

Liam: No, it wasn't like that.

Bill: Well, you were with her last night, right?

Liam: Yeah, she was at Oliverís. I drove by, and saw her car in the driveway.

Bill: So you stopped.

Liam: Yeah, they were, uh... in middle of something.

Bill: They weren't having--

Liam: Yeah, they were. They were.

Bill: What did you do?

Liam: (Scoffs) They asked me to leave, but I'm not--I'm not-- I'm not giving up on Hope, Dad. Iím gonna, Iím gonna fight for her.  (Sighs)

Tawny: I wouldn't worry too much about Hope. You just concentrate on Liam. Keep a smile on his face, a fire in his pants, and you'll be just fine.

Amber: He's gonna be a great dad.

Tawny: He is going to be a great husband.

Amber: That's kinda pushin' it.

Tawny: (Sighs) Honey, you said that Liam wants what's best for the baby. (Scoffs) Trust me. Marriage is best for babies.

Amber: If only he could get over Hope.

Tawny: You know it would be a whole lot easier if Hope got over him.

Amber: And Oliver is the key. (Sighs) I really need to find out what happened between them last night.

Steffy: I wonder how Amber made it happen with Liam. Like, he doesn't even like her, does he?

Oliver: Amber is very good at seduction.

Steffy: And you know this from experience?

Oliver: I know Amber. She's got Liamís kid inside her. There's no way she's lettin' him off the hook from that.

Steffy: But to get him to have sex? I mean, that's kind of a big deal, especially since you're supposedly in love with somebody else. I mean, that doesn't make any sense.

Oliver: My guess is she sucked him in, and Liam takes this fathering thing really seriously, you know? He was raised without a father around. He doesn't want that for his own kid. Man, I'm glad it's him and not me. Sheesh.

Steffy: Yeah, it's gotta be driving Hope nuts. I almost feel sorry for her... almost.

Oliver: He's trying to be strong. And I want to be there for her, you know? I don't want her to have to go through this alone.

Steffy: Well, she's lucky to have you. But you, on the other hand, may be in for a very bumpy ride if she can't get over Liam.

Oliver: Hope and I had something special.

Steffy: Yeah, before everything got messed up. Look, I know I was a huge part of that.

Oliver: Well, let's not dwell on that, okay? It's in the past. I just wanted a second chance with her, you know? And now that it's over, I'm gonna get one.

Steffy: But are you sure, Oliver?  Is it really over for them?

Brooke: I'm glad you were with Oliver when Liam showed up.

Hope: What was he hoping for? I mean, Amber is his priority now.

Brooke: (Sighs) If Liamís really going to be a father to this child, he's going to be spending more time with Amber.

Hope: Thanks, Mom,  I really needed to hear that.

Brooke: Honey, I know it's hard for you to let go but think of the alternatives. An involvement with Liam means sharing the man with a woman that you can't stand and a child that he's going to be raising with her. Can you live with that? Do you really want to live with that?

Hope: I tried to let him go. You know I-I told to go be with the mother of his child, but I... I didn't think that meant that he was gonna go hop into bed with her.

Brooke: Wait. You mean... Amber and Liam?

Bill: You're blaming yourself. You shouldn't be. Amber's the one at fault here.

Liam: (Sighs) Yeah, I can't blame it all on Amber. I mean, I have to take some responsibility. I'm not--I'm not gonna be that guy who walks out on his kid.-I mean, she's pregnant.  Test says itís mine, and Iím uh, trying to work it out with her.

Bill:  What does that mean?

Liam: (Sighs) She and I, um... I let her seduce me.

Bill: You what?

Liam: (Laughs) We--we were at the Malibu house, and Hope and I just got into this thing, and she told me that I should move on with Amber, and I...

Bill: You did.

Liam: Yeah. And, uh, Hope found out.

Bill: And she jumped into bed with Oliver.

Liam:  Thatís how it looks.  Hey, um, do you, uh, do you want to see something? It's Amber's baby... my baby, your grandchild.

Steffy: (Sighs) Bill must be goin' out of his mind.

Oliver: Oh, thatís right, you and he are, uh.

Steffy:  Friends.

Oliver: Oh, really. That's it?

Steffy: For the moment. God, you have no idea how upset he is about this pregnancy.

Oliver: He can't be that upset. He got Amber a house in Malibu to live in.

Steffy: Well, he actually didnít get it for her to live in.  Look, just stop worrying about Liam, and just focus all your attention on Hope, all right?

Oliver:  That's the plan.

Steffy: You know, they way you've hung in for that girl, she'd be a fool not to snatch you up and never let you go. Good luck.

(Cell phone rings)

(Ring)

Oliver: Hey, Amber.

Amber: Were are you?

Oliver: I'm at work.

Amber: Oh, great, I'm on my way over. I wanna hear all about last night.

Oliver: No, Amber, don't come--what are you doin'? (Scoffs)

Brooke: Amber and Liam are sleeping together?

Hope: I don't know what I was thinking. I mean, I-I practically forced him into her bed.

Brooke: Oh, don't-- donít make excuses for him, honey.

Hope: (Sighs) No, I'm not. I'm not.

Brooke: (Scoffs) If there were ever a time to break it off completely...

Hope: Oh, you know what, Mom? I don't need you to pressure me about that right now. I've got enough to deal with.

Brooke: Does Oliver know about this?

Hope:  Yes.

Brooke: So he was helping you cope last night?

Hope: Yeah, he was helping me cope.

Brooke: (Sighs) He's still in love with you.

Hope: I know.

Brooke: And he stood by you, even when you were dating Liam.

Hope: Yeah, he's--

Brooke: And you were happy with him at one time, remember?

Hope: I know. I know. And he's one of the best friends I have.

Brooke: Oh, honey, if he could help you get through this...

Hope: I know that he's a wonderful guy, Mom, but as far as helping me get through this, I don't know.

Brooke: Just give him a chance.

Hope: I really thought that Liam would be the one. But now I don't-- I don't know. I have no idea.

Brooke: I think it's time to move on.

Hope: Just one problem-- I'm still so in love with Liam.

Brooke: Oh, honey.

Liam: Kind of makes it real, doesn't it? The next Spencer. I have to do right by this kid, Dad. I-I mean, I love Hope. That's not gonna change. But I can't abandon my son or daughter.

Bill: This picture is the result of a conniving, manipulative bitch who took advantage of you.

Liam: Yeah, good to know youíve gotten over your anger towards her.

Bill:  Aren't you angry?

Liam: Yeah, I-- Dad, I am, but I'm not the one who put her up in a beach house in Malibu. Why did you do that?

Bill: I want her out of your life. She's dangerous. She almost killed you, I would put nothing past her.

Liam:  Itís not your problem, Dad. I mean, I'll deal with it. You and Katie have a great life. Don't worry about me.

Bill: Katie's gone.

Liam: What do you mean, "Katieís gone"?

Bill: I mean that she's moved out.

Liam: Why?

Bill: We had some differences, I donít want to discuss it.

Liam: Dad, you love her more than anything.

Bill: Something I did. Now drop it.

Liam: Oh, man, you know... (Sighs) It's like we're-- it's like we're in the same place, you know? It's like we've lost everything.

Bill: We've lost everything? You think weíve lost everything? Take a look out there. That is our kingdom. This is our empire. We have each other. We have this business. And that will be enough for both of us. Lost everything?

Liam: Dad we need more than work.

Bill: What? Love? Love makes you crazy. It makes you do things you wouldn't normally do

Liam: What does that even mean?

Bill: It means that I'm not meant for it. It means that I am too intense. I-I'm too protective.

Liam: Oh, so--so what, Katie was a mistake? Talk like this is not good, Dad. You wanna, wanna go back to the guy I've heard so much about, the one before you met Katie, the staunch, hard-nosed, cold businessman who had nothing in his life but money? Dollar Bill Spencer? Katie added something huge to your life, Dad, and if you deny that, you're lying. You can'tóyou canít give up on her. She means too much to you.  (Sighs)

Bill: Where did you get your smarts from?

Liam: (Sighs)

Bill: You sure as hell didn't get 'em from me.

Liam: (Chuckles)

Bill: Thank you for the advice. Now I'm going to give you some. Forget about Amber, the baby, Oliver. Put it all out of your mind. You'll find an answer. And if it's Hope you want, then you go after her. You fight for her, and I will fight for Katie. They're both worth it.

Hope: I miss him, Mom. You know, this isn't the way that things are supposed to turn out.

Brooke: Honey, sometimes in life, things turn out in the most unlikely way, but for the best.

Hope: Yeah, that's what they say, isn't it?

Brooke: Yeah, just give it some time. Have a little faith.

Hope: I wish I could believe you, Mom, but a life without Liam is not something that I am looking forward to. He means so much to me, and I don't want to let him go.

Brooke: Okay, you know what? I-I am not going to work today, and you and I, we're gonna go do some great fun mother and daughter thing, ok?

Hope: (Chuckles) Thanks, but no. I mean, you go. Go to work. I know you've got stuff to do and meetings to go to. So... I'm fine. Okay? I am I just--I need to be... alone right now.

Brooke: Okay, Just... (Sighs) Just call me if you need me, okay?

Hope: Okay.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Hope: (Sniffles) (Sniffles) (Sighs)

Amber: Hey, Ollie. How are ya?

Oliver: (Chuckles)

Amber: You know, it's not easy gettin' in this place. I had to sneak in. Hey, Hope's not around, is she?

Oliver:  No.

Amber: So it was kinda late. Uh, It must have been good night, huh?

Oliver: Uh, you'll have to ask her.

Amber: Well, I'm asking you. The two of you were together last night, right?

Oliver: Yep.

Amber: And? Yeah? Uh-huh? Yeah? Woo, home run! Way to go, Ollie!

Oliver: (Laughs)

Amber: Oh, I'm so happy for you. This is the best news.

Oliver: Have you seen Liam today?

Amber: No. Does he know about this, huh? That--that you and Hope were together last night?

Oliver:  He knows.

Amber: (Scoffs) I bet he's bummed, hmm? Don't worry. I'll take care of that.

Oliver: You do that.

Amber: And you do not have to worry about Liam and me, because now that you and Hope are hooking up, he has nowhere to turn but into my arms.  (Stomps feet)  Isnít this just excellent, huh? You love Hope. I am totally falling for Liam. The two of them are finally over.

Oliver: That would be something.

Amber: He's not goin' back to her, Oliver, not now. In fact, Liam is probably at home thinking about me. And Hope is probably all by herself just basking in the glow of last night. (Chuckles)

Hope: (Sighs) (Sniffles) (Scoffs) (Sighs)

(Doorbell rings)

Hope: (Sighs)
