Bill: Katie come home with me. Come home.
Liam: Stop. Stop. I can't. I can't. I can't do this.
Thomas: (Exhales rhythmically)
Brooke: Hey, Thomas.
Thomas: Hey, Brooke. Perfect timing.
Brooke: Where's Ridge?
Thomas: Oh, he's headed back from a meeting. But I'm glad you're here early. I wanted you to be the first to see the new designs for the Taboo women's line
Brooke: Wow. (Chuckles) These are fantastic.
Brooke: They're hot, and they're young, and where did you find the time to do this? I mean, you really accomplished a lot while I was away in Paris.
Thomas: Yeah, I did work around the clock, but it was worth it. I just--I wanted Dad to know that I can create a great women's line, one I know he can be proud of.
Brooke: I think your father's going to be very proud of you.
Thomas: These designs speak for themselves.
Thomas: It should be an easy sell.
Ridge: And what are you selling?
Brooke: Oh, hello.
Brooke: How was your meeting?
Ridge: The Milano deal is going through.
Brooke: (Gasps) Oh, that's great. Congratulations.
Thomas: Wow, that's worth a lot of money. Maybe you could throw some of it back into my budget. Yeah, it was worth a shot.
Brooke: Thomas was showing me a sneak peek of some of his new sketches for the Taboo women's line.
Thomas: Some of my best work yet. I'm sure you'll agree.
Amber: What's wrong?
Liam: You know how I feel. Don't make me say it.
Amber: I'm pregnant with your baby, Liam.
Liam: We hardly know each other, and Hope and I just broke up.
Amber: You're right. You're right. We should get to know each other better. I want to know everything about you-- everything about the father of my baby.
Katie: Bill, so much has happened.
Bill: Katie, can we please do this at home? You're my wife. You shouldn't be here. You should be home with me.
Katie: I want to go home more than anything, but... I can't. I need more time.
Amber: I meant everything I said before about what a great dad you'll be.
Amber: I guess that's not what you want to hear right now.
Liam: I want to be a good father. It's just--
Amber: Just not sure about me.
Liam: I hate this situation.
Amber: It's too late to change it now.
Amber: I suppose I could, um, take the baby and just go off somewhere.
Liam: No, that's not an answer.
Amber: I know the answer. It's you and I coming together.
Amber: That's what I'm trying to make happen here, Liam, for the sake of our baby.
Bill: I am not leaving you here.
Nick: She said she doesn't want to go with you. Give it a rest.
Bill: Do you really want to push me, Marone?
Katie: Bill, stop it! Nick has done nothing but be a good friend to me. He certainly didn't deserve you punching him in the face.
Bill: Well, that's your opinion.
Katie: You know how I feel about this. Violence has no place in our lives, and you need to get yourself under control.
Bill: Made a mistake. It won't happen again.
Katie: (Sniffles) I know you mean that, and I know you love me, but you have to let me work this out on my own. I can't come home with you.
Bill: We're going to fix this. I'm going to fix it.
Thomas: Pretty great, huh?
Ridge: They're good, but I need to see them on.
Thomas: Yep, I knew you were gonna say that. So... (Sighs) Hey, Pam, can you send the models in now? Thank you. Now just remember, these are still samples fresh off the sewing machine, and the next phase is gonna look even better.
Brooke: (Chuckles) Wow. They are beautiful, Thomas.
Thomas: Thank you. Now and as you can see, they're very versatile and also keeps up with our clientele. That's the beauty of the Taboo for women's line. It's functional. Forresters known for giving us our--our breathtaking couture designs. But realistically, women can't wear a gown to work or a luncheon.
Brooke: Thomas has a point. Besides the Hope for the Future line, which caters to our younger clientele, we haven't had a new ready-to-wear women's line in quite some time.
Amber: Am really that horrible?
Liam: It's not that.
Amber: I'm not Hope. Will you just look at me, please?
Liam: I don't mean to hurt you.
Amber: I know. It's not me I'm worried about. It's our little baby. How are we gonna show our child a warm, loving, caring family if we can't even touch each other? I mean, we have been given the miracle of a child here. Doesn't that make you think? Huh? Doesn't that make you realize the responsibility we have? We have to care for each other so--so we can care for our child. You've touched our child. Now... touch me. Please. Please. Let me feel your arms around me. Just hold me. (Sighs) Let our child feel his daddy's love. (Sighs)
Nick: How you doin'?
Nick: You need some space, some time to think. He's gotta respect that.
Katie: I'm sorry he hit you.
Nick: So am I.
Katie: Thank you for not hitting him back. I know you wanted to.
Nick: You know, I never liked him much, but now I get to hate him.
Katie: It's really uncalled for. He had no right to get violent.
Nick: Listen. Something tells me this isn't the first time you've seen this guy be violent.
Nick: So if there's something going on that you're struggling with, you can talk to me about it.
Katie: It's really complicated.
Nick: Okay, I won't push you. Just know I'm here.
Katie: Thank you.
Nick: I'm gonna get back home to Jack now. You let me know if you need anything.
Katie: Thanks. And thank you for everything, for letting me stay here and for... (Sniffles) For your support. It really means a lot to me.
Nick: Hey, I'll take a punch for you like a good ex-boyfriend should.
Katie: (Chuckles) You're the best.
(Knock on door)
Bill: Steffy, I told you it's not a good time.
Steffy: When have I ever listened to you?
Bill: Why are you here?
Steffy: (Scoffs) Why do you think?
Thomas: Thank you, Ladies. Dad? You barely said a word. What do you think? Do you like the line or not?
Ridge: Your designs are good, Thomas...
Ridge: But not good enough.
Thomas: What do you mean, not good enough"?
Ridge: We're not moving ahead with the Taboo women's line.
Thomas: Are you kidding me?
Brooke: Ridge, take your time and think this through.
Ridge: Brooke, I don't need any more time. I've already agreed to continue the men's Taboo line. I never gave an okay on the women's side.
Thomas: All right. All right, so what about Granddad? He's the founder of Forrester Creations. He says he wants to help me design the women's line.
Ridge: Your grandfather is no longer C.E.O. This is my decision, Thomas.
Thomas: It's a bad one.
Ridge: All right, Thomas. You're gonna force me to say this. Forrester Creations is the standard bearer. Everything we put out there has to be the best in the industry. Your designs don't make it.
Thomas: Wow, 'cause you're punishing me for kissing your wife in a moment of stupidity?
Ridge: This has nothing to do with that.
Ridge: As C.E.O., it's my job to make sure the best interests of this company come first. That is what I'm doing.
Thomas: No, Dad. Come on. This is personal. No matter how you try to spin it, this is not a business decision.
Ridge: Look, I'm sorry you're disappointed. And I'm sorry you cannot see that Taboo for women is not a good idea right now.
Brooke: Ridge, you're not being fair.
Ridge: Brooke, I'm being very fair, actually. I've already agreed to let the Taboo line continue, and you can continue working with Thomas on that. Okay? But no women's line. Maybe sometime in the future, but not now. I have another meeting to get to. I'm late already
Thomas: (Groans) I can't believe him! No matter what I do, he keeps shutting me down. He's my own father.
Amber: Do you have any idea how good this feels? No one's held me in a really long time. And for the first time, our baby can feel his parents together. Your arms around me... this is what our child needs-- closeness and love. (Sighs) You know, I... babies, they experience a lot even before they're born. I've been doing a lot of reading about it. I-I've read a lot since I found out we were having a baby. And you know what I'm afraid of? (Sighs) That if you can't learn to care for me, then you'll end up resenting our child even though you won't mean to. Look, Liam, I know you feel trapped, like you're where you don't want to be, and I never wanted you to feel that way, but I know you do, and I can't blame you. I mean, your heart-- it's just not with me. But it s so bad for our baby. And I think if you could try, I mean, just--just a little, I think you could like me. I know that I could make you feel so much better. Hmm?
Amber: No, don't. Don't. Don't.
Liam: Amber, I don't--
Amber: Shh. Just close your eyes. Don't say anything. Just feel. (Sighs) Mm. Just feel me. Mm. Just feel... feel me next to you. Feel our baby next to you.
Steffy: Katie's not here. She should be, but she's not.
Bill: I'm workin' on that.
Steffy: Well, you asked her to come home, and she said no.
Bill: You should go.
Steffy: And you shouldn't be alone you calling Katie? Fine. I'll give you some privacy.
(Cell phone rings)
Katie: Bill, I--
Bill: Katie, just-- just let me talk. I'm the same man who looked you in the eye on our wedding day and vowed to make you happy. Now, obviously, I haven't been doing a very good job of that, but I've never failed at anything in my life, Katie, and I'm not going to fail at this. I'm going to make us whole again. I just need you to promise me one thing.
Bill: Don't close off on me. I know what I need to do. I have something in mind, and when the time comes, just let me do it. I love you, Katie Spencer.
Thomas: You know, I put so much work and energy into the Taboo women's line, and he just shuts it down with the snap of a finger.
Brooke: I would be frustrated, too. Your designs were exceptional. I don't know why your father can't see that.
Thomas: Why do you always support me, Brooke?
Brooke: Because I believe in you, and I believe in your ability to be a great designer.
Thomas: (Sighs) Evidently, my father doesn't feel the same way.
Brooke: Thomas, you have raw natural talent. It's in the blood. Don't let your father discourage you.
Thomas: You think I should go against my dad?
Brooke: No, that's not what I'm saying. Just keep doing what you're doing and keep creating.
Thomas: (Sighs) He did say one day, he would reconsider.
Brooke: Well, then don't give up. I know how it feels to have that passion and that excitement and that fervor, and you can't contain it.
Brooke: Well, then don't. Just go for it, and I'm gonna support you.
Thomas: As long as you believe in me, Brooke, everything will work out.
Brooke: You are very charming and such a tease, just like your father.
Thomas: Who says I'm teasing?
Brooke: I do, because I know you so well. And I warned you. We can't play with fire.
Thomas: No, you asked me not to kiss you, and I haven't.
Brooke: Okay, and you never will, and why should you? You have this bevy of women who love you so much-- Madison, Summer, Dayzee...
Thomas: There's only one Brooke Logan. Trust me. There's no one quite like you.
Brooke: Thomas. I love our relationship, and we have a wonderful friendship, but we have to be really careful about your father's feelings, right?
Brooke: I mean, you do understand nothing can ever, ever happen.
Thomas: Yeah, I understand.
Brooke: Right? Nothing ever?
Thomas: Let's just get back to work.
Brooke: Okay, good. Right. I'll get back to work. We have a lot to accomplish with Taboo. You still have, um, the men's line coming up for the fall, and we have to come up with all these ideas. I'm sure you're gonna come up with some fabulous, innovative, new ideas for the men's line.
