Audience: (Cheering)

Thomas: Thank you. Thank you very much. Yes, Taboo is alive and well. We are on the move, and nothing can stop us. Now, uh, questions, please.

Man: Thomas, Thomas, Thomas.

Thomas: Yeah?

Man: A question for Brooke, if I may.

Thomas: Oh.

Man: On the upcoming European tour, I assume you'll accompany Thomas.

Brooke: Uh, well, the--those plans haven't really been made.

Jarrett: Good heavens, Brooke. After the way you and Thomas took Paris by storm, surely you'll want to be part of the next press junket.

Brooke: (Sighs)

(Voices overlapping)

(Camera shutters clicking)

Brooke: If Taboo does another promotional tour in Europe.

Man: If? But Thomas made it sound certain.

Thomas: Well, the plans are still in the works.

Man: Israeli news service.

Thomas: Yes?

Man: Your trip will include Israel-- can we count on that?

Thomas: Here-- when we plan the itinerary, we will make an official announcement.

Man: Wait, another question. Thomas.

Thomas: Yes.

Woman: There's talk that the line is too scandalous, too taboo.

Audience: (Laughs)

Woman: Can you comment on that?

Thomas: Uh... no, I-I designed it. Come on. Scandalous?

Audience: (Laughs)

Woman: But the campaign-- you and Brooke.

Audience: Ohh.

Thomas: Hmm. Brooke, are we scandalous?

Brooke: (Sighs) I certainly hope not.

Audience: (Laughs)

Thomas: Okay, uh, next question.

Woman: Right here.

Man: Right over here.

Thomas: Katie?

Katie: Hi, uh, it's really more a comment, not really question. Thomas, you've had a great deal of success with this line. Brooke, you and Ridge must be so proud of him.

Brooke: Yes. Yes, we're very proud.

Thomas: Well, we have time for one more. Why not?

(Voices overlapping)

Thomas: Uh, Jarrett, please.

Jarrett: Yes, um, it's the question everyone is wondering, so I'm going to ask it how do you really feel about Brooke?

(Voices overlapping)

(Camera shutters clicking)

Thomas: Uh, seven, maybe eight.

Katie: Oh, really?

Audience: (Laughs)

Katie: (Scoffs)

Thomas: Thank you again, everyone. We really appreciate all of your support. We have one other important announcement today. A portion of every Taboo sale will be donated to the light of millions who are living on the streets homeless worldwide.

Woman: Ohh. All right!

Thomas: Yes, my friends, Taboo is here to stay. We will make a difference, and the House of Forrester Creations will rise to new levels.

(Cheers and applause)

Thomas: Thank you all for coming and sharing our vision with us. I appreciate it.

(Cheers and applause)

Man: Thomas, Brooke, a picture please. Take a picture together, please.

Thomas: Excuse me.

Woman: Brooke, Brooke.

Man: Just a quick question.

Ridge: My office now.

Oliver: Hey, is Ridge around? Some of the reporters want to talk to him.

Katie: I saw him take off to his office with Thomas and Brooke.

Donna: Yeah, and--and he didn't seem terribly happy.

Eric: Well, I can't imagine why. The two of them were wonderful up there.

Pam: They're probably upstairs right now popping a bottle of bubbly.

Thorne: (Laughs)

Eric: They probably are. Come on. Let's go cover for Ridge.

Thorne: All right.

Pam: So, um, how was your honeymoon, Donna?

Donna: It was lovely, Pam.

Pam: Did you take along an extra suitcase?

Donna: Oh, I-I didn't really have time for shopping. My husband and I never really left the suite. (Chuckles)

Pam: Oh, I didn't mean for shopping. I meant for the honey bear bottles. Oh, or doesn't Justin get that treatment?

Donna: (Scoffs) What a pill.

Katie: (Sighs)

Donna: Hey, what-- what's goin' on in that pretty little head of yours?

Katie: Oh, I don't know. There's just a weird vibe in his room today.

Donna: Yeah, between Brooke and Ridge, right? I-I noticed that. Did Brooke say anything?

Katie: No, I haven't really talked to her lately. But Stephanie and Taylor are talking about something important.

Donna: What in the world is going on?

Katie: (Sighs)

Stephanie: I'm stunned that-- that Tom's being so defiant.

Taylor: I wonder what part Brooke played in all of this.

Stephanie: You're right. She--she went looking for him while we were still in the office. You don't think she convinced him to have this press conference.

Taylor: Oh, no, no. I-I'm--I'm pretty sure Thomas is the one who wanted to--to keep the press conference going, but I wouldn't doubt it if Brooke had something to do with it.

Stephanie: But why would she do that? She had to know that Ridge would be just furious.

Taylor: Stephanie, I have got to find a way to stop that woman from destroying my son.

Stephanie: I've got an idea. I do. Hold on. I'm going to call someone that I think can help.

Ridge: I just don't know what to say to you two.

Thomas: Dad, I couldn't just sit back and watch you kill the line.

Ridge: It wasn't your call. I'm C.E.O. of this company. Brooke, what the hell were you thinking?

Thomas: Okay, Brooke didn't have a choice. She thought I was announcing the end of Taboo.

Ridge: So you went along with it knowing I put out a memo canceling the press conference and calling off Taboo?

Brooke: Ridge, I know you're upset.

Ridge: You're damn right I'm upset.

Thomas: Look, Dad, I'm up-- I'm--I'm upset, too. None of this should have happened. One kiss on the plane, and you're ready to pull the plug on the hottest line we have going. What is the sense in that?

Ridge: This has nothing to do with the success of Taboo, Thomas. I'm trying to protect this family--all of us.

Thomas: You're trying to protect me from Brooke.

Ridge: No, all of us, Thomas-- you, your mom, Brooke. What happened on that plane was the tipping point. Look, it's threatened everything that's dear in this family. Taboo had to be stopped.

Thomas: You know what? I should be feeling bad about all this, but I don't, 'cause in my opinion, everyone overreacted, especially you, Dad.

Ridge: I overreacted to my son kissing my sleeping wife in the privacy of a corporate jet? How am I supposed to react to that, Thomas?

Thomas: Not like this. Come on, Dad. Give me a break. I'm not in love with your wife.

Ridge: Nobody said you were in love with her, but you did push the envelope way too far here.

Thomas: (Sighs) All right. Okay, so ream me out. Give me a lecture. But don't take away my first big success.

Ridge: You have future of big successes ahead of you. This one? This one's run its course.

Thomas: No, it obviously hasn't run its course. You saw the reaction in that showroom, didn't you?

Ridge: Look, that's not the point, Thomas. I gave a direct order about this. Tell me something. What part did Madison play in all this? I gave her the memo to distribute.

Thomas: Yeah, you did, and I told her not to.

Ridge: You had no right! You don't give the orders around here!

Brooke: All right, we're not gonna argue about this. Thomas overstepped. He shouldn't have done that. But I know of a man not too many years ago who would have done exactly the same thing with the courage of his convictions that's how you built your image, Ridge. Can't you at least give your son a little credit?

Ridge: I can't run this company if my decisions aren't followed, Thomas.

Thomas: (Sighs) Dad, no disrespect, but pulling that line was wrong. It was wrong for the company, the employees, and especially me. Brooke and I worked too hard building this collection. It's paid off, and I'm not going to let it go. (Scoffs) Dad, ease up. Tell me you wouldn't have done the same thing when you were my age. I followed my convictions as you would have. Look, everything I know, everything I've done, I learned it from you.

Katie: Eric, the press loves Taboo, so congratulations.

Eric: Thank you. Donna, it's good to see you looking so happy.

Donna: Why, thank you, Eric. That's--that's sweet of you. Thanks. (Chuckles)

Eric: Thanks for coming, both of you.

Katie: Mm-hmm. Have a good one.

Donna: Bye.

Eric: Bye-bye. See you.

Jarrett: Um, well done, House of Forrester

Thorne: Thanks for the support, Jarrett.

Jarrett: Well, you certainly are on a roll. I mean, this Taboo line is still a smashing success.

Eric: Thank you, Jarrett.

Thorne: Thanks.

Eric: Thanks.

Thomas: (Sighs) (Sighs)

Thomas: (Chuckles) Dayzee, what are you--

Dayzee: Doing here? I am omission of mercy.

Thomas: (Chuckles) No, really. What are you doing here?

Dayzee: Your grandmother called me. She said you might need a friend.

Thomas: My grandma, huh?

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Thomas: She does like to send me nice things.

Dayzee: (Laughs) And you did look kind of worried when I walked in sitting here at your big old desk. But if you're busy, I can come back later.

Thomas: Don't even think about it. Come over here. (Sighs)

Dayzee: All right, so what's goin' on rough day?

Thomas: You could say that. (Chuckles) Or you could say it was a great day.

Dayzee: What happened?

Thomas: I went up against my father.

Brooke: Well? You gonna say anything?

Ridge: Okay, I can understand how you ended up behind that podium. Thomas has a way of getting what he wants without anybody knowing it. But once you were standing up there-- that's what I don't get. You could have taken the mike, apologized, said something like, "The press conference is over, canceled," whatever, but you didn't do that. You knew specifically that I called off the press conference and sent out a memo dropping the line, and still, you just stood there and let my son defy me. You even played a part in it, Brooke. How could you do this to me?

Brooke: I didn't do it to you. I did it for you.

Ridge: You're gonna have to explain that one.

Brooke: What Thomas did was wrong, but what you did was wrong, too.

Ridge: What I did?

Brooke: Ridge, you never should have pulled the plug on the line. It was a mistake. We need Taboo. Thomas needs Taboo. You need Taboo. And I am going to continue promoting it.

Jarrett: Ridge is canceling Taboo?

Dayzee: Wow. Okay. You went up against your dad?

Thomas: Yeah.

Dayzee: That doesn't sound good.

Thomas: Well, a man has to stand up for himself, Dayzee.

Dayzee: All right, what was the issue?

Thomas: Do you remember that thing I told you about when I kissed Brooke...

Dayzee: Mm-hmm.

Thomas: On the plane on the way back from Paris?

Dayzee: Okay, yeah, and your dad found out?

Thomas: (Sighs) Yeah. My mom found out.

Dayzee: Okay.

Thomas: And she told my dad.

Dayzee: Okay, and?

Thomas: You were right. My dad pulled the plug on Taboo.

Dayzee: Oh, wow.

Thomas: Yeah.

Dayzee: (Sighs) Brooke is his wife.

Thomas: Dayzee...

Dayzee: (Sighs)

Thomas: It was his idea to promote the line in the first place. Taboo is provocative. That's the brand. Nothing is going on between my father's wife and me. We've kept it strictly professional.

Dayzee: Except for that one incident.

Thomas: Look, Dayzee, I am not a saint, but, uh... (Sighs) I'm not involved with my father's wife. I am not romantically interested in her at all. It's ridiculous to even suggest it.

Dayzee: Okay. Okay. All right. Calm down. What is-- what is Brooke thinking?

Thomas: (Sighs) Brooke has been great. She's--she's been very supportive. We've been talking. We talk about you.

Dayzee: (Sighs) You talk about me with Brooke?

Thomas: Sure. She knows how much you mean to me. She thinks it's great. Anyway, uh...

Dayzee: (Chuckles)

Thomas: Yeah, Dad sent out a memo, uh, ending Taboo. Then I intercepted it, stopping it from being distributed. Then we had the press conference, and I told everyone that the line was going ahead full steam.

Dayzee: Wow.

Thomas: Oh, and I announced a new program.

Dayzee: What?

Thomas: A portion of the proceeds from all Taboo sales will be donated to the homeless.

Dayzee: (Sighs) You announced that at this press conference today?

Thomas: Yeah. Reporters all over the world, Dayzee.

Dayzee: Thomas, that could mean millions.

Thomas: Yeah. It's a pretty popular line. I suppose it will.

Dayzee: Why are you doing this?

Thomas: Why do you do all the work you do? To help people who are in need, to make a difference. It's something I learned from you. Something I want to be a part of.

Dayzee: I don't know what to say. (Chuckles)

Thomas: I know what I want to say. Thank you. I am a better man because of you, Dayzee. Te world's a better place because of you.

Stephanie: Honey, Ridge is furious, and there will be repercussions, but he and Tom will work it out. Ridge and Brooke on the other hand...

Taylor: Oh, she definitely made this worse for herself by even participating in this press conference.

Stephanie: I couldn't believe that. It was so utterly disrespectful of her husband. That marriage is over.

Ridge: So you're siding with Thomas?

Brooke: No, Ridge, I'm doing what's best for all of us.

Ridge: Brooke, you're defying an order I gave as C.E.O. of this company.

Brooke: Ridge, Thomas worked day and night on that collection, and the world embraced it. I'm not going to let you end his accomplishment. If your father did something like that to you at that age, it would have ruined your relationship with him forever. You may be angry with Thomas now, but in the end, you're going to thank me.

Ridge: What I did was for Thomas. It was for me and for you, for all of us.

Brooke: No, no. What you did was out of anger because of some silly little kiss that meant nothing.

Ridge: Well, Taylor doesn't happen to think it was nothing either.

Brooke: Well, Stephanie doesn't happen to think it was nothing either. And that's really sad, because those two have aligned themselves against me once again, and they're determined to get rid of me. But I'm not gonna let that happen. I'm gonna stand true to Thomas and to Taboo because I think that's what you're going to want. You shouldn't have pulled the line, Ridge. It's only gonna destroy your relationship with your son, and I don't want to see that happen. I love you. And I am committed to you, and nothing, no one is going to come between us. Please. Don't walk away from me. Please.
