Whip: You told him?

Taylor: I'm sorry.

Whip: You're discussing our sex life with-- with your--your ex-husband?

Ridge: Whip, she feels terrible already. There's no point in getting into all this.

Taylor: Um, can we-- can we just borrow the office for a second?

Ridge: Sure.

Whip: How could you do that, Taylor?

Taylor: (Sighs)

Oliver: Yeah, well, I thought you should know I was with Hope earlier.

Bill: Thanks for the update.

Oliver: That's the first and last one you're gonna get, Mr. Spencer. Like it or not, Hope is committed to your son. Their relationship is real solid.

Bill: We'll see about that. You just hang in there, "Romeo." I'll be in touch.

Bill: (Sighs)

Liam: (Scoffs) I guess you weren't, uh, finished with me.

Bill: No, Son, I'm not.

Oliver: All right, let's pick this right up. We're backstage at a fashion show. Remember, this is Taboo. It's gotta be racy.

Brooke: Is this, uh, kind of how you want me?

Oliver: Yeah, just like that. You know what, Brooke? Can you lean in a little closer?

Thorne: Uh, I think that's close enough.

Oliver: Let's try something. Put--put down the clipboard. And, uh, Brooke, put your-- put your hand on his stomach.

Brooke: You think this is too much, Thorne?

Thorne: (Scoffs) What do I know? This is your husband's idea.

Oliver: All right, you-- put your hand on his shirt. There you go. All right, start pullin' the shirt off. There you go. Yeah, that's good. That's good. I like that. I like that. Yeah. Yes. Yes!

(Camera shutter clicking)

Oliver: There we go. Nice. Nice.

Ridge: Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. What is this?

Thorne: The--the Taboo shoot, Ridge.

Oliver: Is something wrong?

Ridge: Hell, yeah, there's something wrong.

Taylor: I'm sorry. I made a mistake.

Whip: Yes, you did.

Taylor: You're hurt.

Whip: Why, Taylor? What possible reason could you have for telling Ridge what goes on in our bedroom?

Taylor: Ridge and I... (sighs) we've just always been very open.

Whip: You told the man that you called out his name while we were making love. Why would you do that?

Liam: Wasn't I just here?

Bill: I thought of a few more things I wanted to say.

Liam: Dad, I-I have a phone.

Bill: That's not how I want to communicate with my son.

Katie: Hey. Oh, I thought you'd be done.

Liam: Yeah, so did I.

Katie: I'll come back.

Bill: No, no. Stay. I was just about to fill Liam in on plans I have for his future.

Ridge: This wasn't the plan.

Thomas: Dad, you okayed the tie-in.

Brooke: We're using these photos to hype the showing.

Ridge: No, we're not. I don't like what this setup implies.

Thomas: Whatever happens on stage, a lot more is happening behind the scenes.

Ridge: Thomas, that's not acceptable.

Thomas: That's the tease.

Ridge: It's too blatant.

Oliver: Okay, what needs to change?

Thomas: Dad, come on. You were on board with this before.

Ridge: Look, I shouldn't have to state the obvious here. We're walking on razor's edge with this campaign. That's what makes it provocative. We can't go too far, and this is going too far.

Taylor: I-I said too much. I-I knew it the minute the words left my mouth.

Whip: But why, Taylor? How did you expect Ridge to respond?

Taylor: I didn't expect anything. No, we just talk about things like that sometimes.

Whip: Oh, come on, Taylor.

Taylor: That's-- we just share things.

Whip: Oh, really? D-does he tell you what he and Brooke do in bed?

Taylor: That is not what I was doing.

Whip: (Scoffs)

Taylor: No, I-I can see how-- how it might sound like that if you heard it out of context, but I-I've told you how I-I'm so uncomfortable with this whole Taboo line, and I was trying to have Ridge understand that it's--it's more than a minor preoccupation for me.

Whip: Yeah, or maybe you wanted Ridge to understand that he's more than a minor preoccupation for you. Is that what's really going on?

Taylor: You don't believe that.

Whip: I don't want to... but I gotta tell ya, I don't know what else to think.

Bill: We talked about your role at the company. I told you what it would take-- the level of commitment I would expect from you. I want to amend that discussion.

Liam: Uh, you changed your mind?

Bill: I'm stepping up the timetable. I just got off the phone with marketing. It seems we have a demographic issue, and I want to address it immediately. It's time we introduce our new generation reader to our new generation leader.

Liam: (Laughs) Me?

Bill: Women are getting their fashion news online-- from blogs, from their friends. We have to reestablish our authority, let them know that we have the inside track, that we are everywhere our readers want to be, and by "we," I mean you. You're a Spencer. It's time the whole world knew it.

Katie: So you're thinking of making an official announcement.

Bill: I'm talking about a coronation. You are going to be the new face of Spencer Publications.

Katie: But he wouldn't just be a poster boy. It wouldn't all be for show.

Bill: Absolutely not. I'm entrusting you with this company's reputation, Son. There is nothing more sacred.

Liam: (Sighs) What do you want me to do?

Bill: Katie, get him the best image consultant in town. You know what to do.

Katie: A makeover. Good idea.

Bill: How do you feel about heights?

Liam: Uh--

Bill: Think you can fly one of these babies around the world?

Liam: Hot air balloon? Yeah, you want me to go skydiving next?

Bill: Base jumping.

Katie: Bill.

Liam: Dude, I'm not a daredevil.

Bill: Okay, we'll think about the base jumping. The point is, you are William Spencer III, the crown prince of Spencer Publications. You're the kind of man men want to be and women want to be with.

Liam: (Sighs)

Bill: Starting today, Son, you're the second most exciting badass dude on the planet.

Taylor: You've got this all wrong.

Whip: Look, look, I-I-I know you're sorry, Taylor. I-I know you wish you hadn't said it. What I don't understand is why you did.

Taylor: I wasn't thinking.

Whip: Oh, it just slipped out, huh?

Taylor: (Sighs)

Whip: (Scoffs) Okay. You know what? Fine. Well, maybe it did. Maybe--maybe you don't have any boundaries with Ridge, okay? Maybe you can tell him anything. Maybe nothing is too private, except for our marriage. That is still sovereign territory.

Taylor: Yes, of course it is.

Whip: Is it?

Taylor: I didn't say it to Ridge so that I could hurt you or embarrass you. I didn't. I--look, I'm the one who's--who's embarrassed. I'm the one who keeps sticking my foot in my mouth.

Whip: The man laughed. You told him the most intimate details of our relationship, Taylor, and he laughed.

Ridge: Thorne, what were you thinking?

Thorne: This is what you wanted, Ridge. You okayed this campaign.

Ridge: I'm okay with the concept--a hint, a little innuendo, but this?

Brooke: We'll do something else.

Ridge: You were comfortable with this?

Brooke: Up to a point, yeah.

Ridge: Okay, up to a point. We get past that point, it could blow up in our faces.

Thomas: Dad, nobody wants that to happen.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Ridge: Look, let's just all cool down here. Put your shirt on. Thorne, I asked you to keep any eye on this for me.

Thorne: Ridge, you said Taboo was about pushing the envelope. What, now you want to start talkin' about pulling it back?

Brooke: We need to come up with some guidelines.

Thomas: Guys, the showing is tonight.

Brooke: Why don't you go upstairs, try to figure out some new concepts for the shoot? And Ridge and I will be up in a moment.

Thomas: Okay.

Ridge: Logan, we gotta be careful here. One wrong move, we're gonna end up in some very dicey territory.

Brooke: What's going on?

Ridge: It just didn't look right.

Brooke: So we'll pull back a little bit... or a lot.

Ridge: Look, the publicity's been great. The press is into it. The sales are good.

Brooke: Thomas took a risk, and it paid off.

Ridge: But if we continue to push it, then what?

Brooke: Ridge, we will rethink the campaign after the showing, okay?

Ridge: I just feel like we're playing with fire.

Brooke: But the collection is doing so great.

Ridge: Yeah. But it's wrong. You and my son, Logan? Come on. There's something inherently wrong with that.

Brooke: (Sighs) Everybody knows that Thomas and I aren't related by blood.

Ridge: We're just putting it out there, though.

Brooke: I love you, and I am married to you. There's nothing going on.

Ridge: The idea of this-- the two of you being out there like that... I don't know.

Brooke: Well, it's getting attention. That's what you said you wanted.

Ridge: Yeah. I'm not sure anymore.

Brooke: Okay. We can figure it out, right? (Sighs) I will do whatever you want. You just tell me what that is.

Liam: Dad, you know I can't do that, right? I mean, I'm never gonna be "Prince William, cliff-diving man of the world."

Katie: You can be whoever you want to be with the right P.R.

Bill: Image is everything in this business, and ours needs an overhaul. We have to reach a younger demographic. We have to create a persona that our younger readers and viewers can get excited about. So no more gushing about the girlfriend.

Katie: At least maybe not publically. There's nothing wrong with creating a little mystery about your love life as long as you remember that nothing's sexier than a man who's committed to the woman he loves. (Giggles)

Taylor: Whip, listen to me. I-I know what you saw. I know what you--you heard.

Whip: (Sighs)

Taylor: But I swear, it is not what you're thinking.

Whip: Y-you--you don't want to know what I think.

Taylor: (Sighs) Please, let's...

Whip: (Sighs)

Taylor: Let's not do this-- not here, please.

Whip: Oh. Oh. Oh, now you want everything private. Okay.

Taylor: I deserved that.

Whip: Okay, look, I'm-- I'm not trying to make you feel bad, okay? I wouldn't do that to you. What I'm trying to understand here, Taylor, is what's going on between you and Ridge.

Taylor: Nothing. Nothing is going on.

Whip: You called out the man's name while we were making love, and then I catch you telling him about it.

Taylor: I was trying to explain my situation. I wanted him to understand how much this Taboo collection is--is bothering me.

Whip: Okay, enough about the campaign, okay? It's not about the collection! This is about Ridge.

Taylor: No. Don't.

Whip: Is this what you wanted? Did you--did you want him to know? Is that why you told him? So he--he--he could know that you were thinking about him when you were making love to me?

Taylor: No! Whip, no. No.

Whip: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, when we got married--

Taylor: Please.

Whip: Listen to me. When we got married, Taylor, it was important that you had put Ridge behind you. We both knew that was the only way that this was gonna work.

Whip: You haven't done that.

Taylor: (Sighs) Whip!

Ridge: What happened?

Taylor: (Sighs)

Ridge: You two didn't work things out?

Taylor: (Sighs)

Liam: (Sighs)

(footsteps approach)

Liam: (Sighs)

Bill: I know you have trepidation about this, but you can be anything you want to be, and I'm gonna help you.

Liam: (Chuckles) Yeah, but, Dad, I already told you. I mean, I'm not a playboy.

Bill: (Sighs) Okay. All right. But you have to understand that this is about image. So just don't talk to the press about your sweet, little girlfriend. Uh, listen. Listen. I-I want--

Liam: (Sighs)

Bill: I want young women out there to think you are single and available, the hottest guy on the planet.

Liam: (Laughs)

Bill: Our readers, the women who visit our web sites, who watch our television show, I want them salivating over young William Spencer III.

Liam: I mean, really? Like, the hippest guy on the planet, me?

Bill: Well, you've got the hippest dad on the planet, so I know you have it in you...

Liam: (Sighs)

Bill: Because you're part of me. That's your name on this building. This is where you belong, right in here next to your old man.

Liam: Yeah. Yeah. But I have to become a-a younger version of you.

Bill: Would that be so bad, emulating me?

Liam: No. No.

Bill: Listen, you know what? I know what it's like. I battled not wanting to be like my father my whole life, and the fact is that I still battle with it.

Liam: That's--that's not how I feel... um, anymore.

Bill: Then help me. You're the key to this whole thing. I need you, Son.

Liam: Yeah, I mean, I... I need you, too, dad. I-I didn't think I always would. I mean, my mom told me to go find my father, and I thought it was a bad idea, because I thought of us as a team, you know? I didn't picture what it was like after... you know, I-- not having a family, and then when she died, I was... alone.

Bill: But you're not alone now. We're in this together. We're going to do this... together.

Liam: Okay. (Chuckles)

Bill: You're the new face of Spencer Publications.

Liam: I'm honored.  (Sighs)

Taylor: Whip just-- just walked out on me.

Ridge: He'll be back.

Taylor: No, I-I've gotta talk to him. I-I've really-- I've hurt him so badly.

Ridge: Just wait. Just let him cool off.

Taylor: No, but he's gotta hear what I have to say, not that he's gonna understand it. I-I don't know how he can ever understand it.

Ridge: Just give the guy a chance.

Taylor: Okay, I will, but I've gotta tell you, I just--I can't ever talk to you about any of my intimate details of my marriage again, okay?

Ridge: All right. I respect that.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Ridge: Just don't overreact here, okay?

Taylor: I-I just can't even imagine what he's thinking. I can't imagine what's going on in his mind.

(Knock on door)

Taylor: (Sighs)

Oliver: Oh, sorry.

Ridge: It's all right. Come on in.

Oliver: I deleted everything, all the shots from the Taboo shoot we just did. Um, this is the only hard copy. I figured you wanted to dispose of it yourself.

Ridge: All right. Thank you.

Taylor: So what is that? What--that's from the Taboo shoot?

Ridge: We were doing a photo session downstairs backstage. I called it off.

Taylor: You did? Why?

Ridge: It seemed inappropriate.

Taylor: Let me see it.

Ridge: Mm.

Taylor: No, let me see it. Let me see it, Ridge. (Gasps) Oh, ho ho! Whoa, ho ho. Oh, my g-- no, Ridge. Look at this. Are you kidding me? Look where her hands are. Look at their hands all over each other. I can't believe-- I can't believe that you have allowed this to even happen.

Ridge: Taylor, we're going to tone it down. I've already told them that. If Brooke crosses the line with our son, I'm done with her. That's how certain I am it won't happen. Taylor, this is Thomas's opportunity for success. He's becoming important in the fashion world. He wants this. I really don't want to take this away from him.

Taylor: But Brooke has no judgment. I mean, you went down there, and you just happened to catch it, and then you pulled the plug on it. What--don't you see? (Stammers) How wrong is that?

Ridge: Brooke is not going to hurt him. She's not gonna do anything.

Taylor: You have to protect our son.

Ridge: Taylor, our son isn't a boy anymore. He's a grown man. He's clever. He's smart.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Ridge: This is a very successful campaign. Yes, it's risqué. It's provocative, but it's under control, I'm telling you.

Taylor: Is it? Is it really? I-I am terrified for him.

Ridge: Don't be. Our son's gonna be fine.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Ridge: I won't let anything happen. I promise you, Taylor. I promise.
