Hope: Hey, uh, it's-- it's me again. Just wondering if everything's okay. Um, I don't know. I-I guess I'll see you soon. Or not, you know, if your plans have changed.
Madison: He's still not here?
Hope: No. I don't know. Maybe something more important came up.
Madison: You know what? Liam knows how special tonight is to you. He'll be here.
Liam: I'm sorry. How could this possibly be a shortcut?
Amber: (Foreign accent) I-I apologize. My instincts are-- are usually right about these things.
Liam: You picked me up at a beach house. The destination is a beach bar. You're instincts didn't tell you to keep the ocean in sight? What is your-- what is your name? Do you have, like, a-a badge I.D. number or something?
Amber: Mm, I'm sorry, um, my-- my English is, um, uh, not so good.
Liam: Aah! It's getting late.
Amber: Mm, Sir, um, I-I must not lie. I-I appear to be lost.
Liam: (Scoffs) Well, get found. I gotta be at that party.
Donna: Oh, okay. No. Cut me off. I don't want you to have to order another limo. (Chuckles)
Bill: I've got drivers on call. It irritates me not to use them.
Donna: Oh, you do?
Katie: Company perk. (Chuckles)
Donna: Well, then. Liam's pretty lucky. Instant dad with full-time designated drivers.
Bill: It should help him impress a lady or two, right?
Katie: Well, let's hope that my niece is duly impressed, because she's the only one he's interested in.
Hope: Oh, hi. Uh, could I-- could I get one of those?
Woman: Uh, are you 21, Honey? 'Cause you don't have a bracelet. (Chuckles)
Amber: Tonight's the night, Oliver. You won't get another chance like this.
Oliver: I'm not sure what you're doin', Amber. I guess its working. Hey.
Hope: Hey, uh, you're still here. I figured you would have left by now.
Oliver: Yeah, I was gonna, but the party's great. I wouldn't want to miss it.
Amber: (Foreign accent) Do you have map?
Liam: Do I have a m-- no, I don't have a map. Shouldn't you?
Amber: Can't read map and drive. It's too dangerous.
Liam: Okay. All right. Okay. You know what? I'm just-- I'm--I'll use my phone. I'll use my phone to figure out where we are.
Amber: Oh, wonderful. You're a Godsend.
Liam: Oh, my God, you're kidding me.
Liam: I don't-- I don't know. I must have forgotten my phone. Can I--can I use your phone?
Amber: Mm, I don't have.
Liam: No phone?
Amber: (Scoffs) Can't afford such luxury.
Liam: Uh... uh, yeah. Okay. Yeah. 'Cause you obviously don't make any money in tips, so...
Liam: "Qué?" Isn't that Spanish?
Amber: (Sighs) Da. I take lesson.
Amber: Who--who would I call here anyway? My whole family, they-- they in Moscow. Mm, Los Angeles is, uh, such...
Amber: Confusing city. So many hills and mountains and, uh, no wonder I always get lost. (Chuckles) Ahh, maybe this good thing, huh? Maybe I take you somewhere more fun. You want to see Hollywood sign?
Liam: No, no, no. I don't want to see the Hollywood-- look, Lady, my girlfriend is waiting for me. This is a really special night for her, and I promised I'd be there, so please, just-- just figure out where we are, please. (Sighs)
Donna: What, you don't like Hope?
Bill: I like her just fine.
Katie: He thinks Liam should play the field a little bit.
Bill: They're too young to be thinking they're in love.
Donna: Oh, just 'cause it took you so long to meet a Logan girl...
Bill: Mm, yeah.
(Cell phone rings)
Katie: Oh. Oh, it's Hope. Hey, did Liam score major points with the limo?
Hope: He isn't here.
Hope: Yeah, I-I don't know. I thought he might still be with you guys. He's not answering his phone.
Katie: No, no, he-- he left a little while ago.
Hope: Did he say anything about maybe stopping at the office first? I know Bill's been keeping him really busy.
Katie: No, we were under the impression that he was going straight to the party. He wasn't going by the office, right?
Katie: Sorry. I wish I could help.
Hope: Its okay, Aunt Katie. Just, um, call me if you hear from him.
Katie: Okay. Hey, Honey, don't sound so bummed. I'm sure he's on his way. If he's late, I'm sure he has a good excuse. This is your night. It's celebrating your success. Don't let it keep you from having a good time, okay?
Hope: I won't. Promise. Thanks, Aunt Katie.
Katie: All right. Text me when he gets there.
Hope: All right, will do.
Katie: Hmm, that's strange.
Bill: Well, maybe he took my advice and decided to pick up a few girls on the way.
Katie: Well, if you're trying to call him, Hope says his phone's not working.
Bill: I'll check with the driver.
Donna: You know, maybe he just stopped and got flowers or something.
Bill: Oh, please, I'm--I'm gonna throw up if he's stopping to get some dorky corsage.
Katie: Oh, wouldn't that be sweet? That'd be so nice. (Laughs)
Bill: Uh, hey, this is, uh, Bill Spencer. I'm calling to check the status of the pickup at my house earlier.
Donna: (Whispers) Bill, don't forget to get me a driver.
Bill: Cancelled? Well, who cancelled it? No, th--that's okay. Don't worry about it. Uh, listen, I need another, uh, car at my house right away, please. All right, thanks. Cancelled? Oh. (Chuckles) I know exactly what happened. He thought the limo would be too pretentious, so he cancelled it, called a cab, and he knew if he came back in the house and told me about it, we'd argue.
Donna: He didn't answer the phone, didn't get a limo?
Katie: I wonder where he is.
Amber: (Foreign accent) Oh, your girlfriend will understand.
Liam: (Scoffs) Yeah, if I ever get there.
Amber: Mm, you don't want to be first at party. It's not cool.
Liam: No, it's just we haven't been together a whole lot lately, and I have this new job that's keeping me super busy, and I'm not devoting as much time to her as I should.
Amber: Mm, she angry, eh?
Liam: No, no. No, she's not-- she's not even angry. Although, if she was, she probably wouldn't even say so, because she's so sweet and nice and cares about other people's feelings, so--
Amber: Mm, passive-aggressive. Yeah. You should dump her.
Liam: What?! Wha--
Amber: Yeah, you can do better. I have this cousin who needs green card and, uh--
Liam: No, thank-- no, thank you. Thank you. Uh, do you have-- do you have, like, water back here or something?
Amber: Oh, you want drink?
Liam: Yeah, I just-- I'm--I'm gettin' all worked up, and I'm thirsty as hell, and--
Amber: I have vodka.
Amber: Vodka like water.
Liam: O-okay. Hey, there's--thi--this street. I know this street. I know this.
Amber: Mm, yes, we are getting close, I think.
Liam: Well, then--no, no. What are you getting in the left-hand turn lane? You have to make a right. A right.
Liam: No, trust me. It's a right.
Amber: (Sighs) Customer knows best.
Liam: (Sighs) Thank you. Hopefully I won't miss everything.
Liam: What is that sound?
Amber: Oh, no. (Groans)
Liam: What? What?
Amber: I knew I should have filled up tank.
Liam: We're out of gas?!
Amber: Um, we passed station about a mile back. Won't take us very long to walk there.
Liam: (Chuckles) Oh, my-- okay. All right. Okay. You know what? You know something? Here. Here. Take this. One, two, three. Here. Take this. Go buy yourself a phone, all right? There's that. And then this is for gas. You are making that walk on your own, Lady, 'cause I've gotta get to that party.
Hope: (Sighs) Well, I'm sure Steffy would be thrilled to know that Liam stood me up. (Sighs)
Hope: Excuse me. Excuse me. Um, do you want to dance?
Oliver: Yeah, I'd love to.
Hope: Good. (Sighs)
Rick: Everyone, can I have your attention, please? Thank you. I just want to welcome everybody once again to Forrester Creations' endless summer party.
Rick: Now just to clarify, we are here to celebrate the amazing success of the Hope for the Future line, and I know I've said a few words before, but I think everybody has finally arrived, so once again, I want to welcome back our very own Hope Logan.
Hope: Thanks. Um, hi, everyone. Wow, this place is packed, yeah? I, um, this is a really big night, one that I have really been looking forward to, and I am so thankful to be able to spend it with all of you. I am, you know? I mean, who could ask for anything better than spending the night with--with friends and-- and coworkers, right?
Hope: I really do appreciate all of you who took the time, you know, to come spend this night with me. Um, it's--it's moments like this where you learn who really cares. Um, thank you again so much for everyone's support, and for showing up. Yeah, I-- l-let's turn the music back up and close this place down!
Madison: You okay?
Madison: Come here.
Oliver: Three missed calls? Shoot.
Amber: I've been trying to call you like crazy.
Oliver: Sorry. It's loud in here.
Amber: (Sighs) Okay, Liam's on his way. I could only detain him so long.
Oliver: What did you do?
Amber: Don't worry about it. So are you putting the moves on Hope or what?
Oliver: I think something might happen, but I need a little more time.
Amber: You don't have time. Liam is totally running down the canyon as we speak.
Oliver: Running down the canyon? What are you talking about?
Amber: You don't want to know. Just get Hope out of there right now.
(Coyotes howling) (Owls hooting)
Liam: Oh, come on!
Oliver: You okay?
Hope: Yeah. Trying to have a good time.
Oliver: You wondering about Liam?
Hope: I just don't understand why he would ditch me or--or not even take the time to call me. I-I just want to go home.
Oliver: You want me to walk you to your car?
Hope: Oh, uh, Madison drove, actually.
Oliver: From the looks of things, I don't think she's gonna want to go home any time soon.
Hope: Nope, I'm clearly not the one she's leaving with tonight. (Chuckles)
Oliver: I could give you a ride home.
Hope: Yeah, that'd be great, actually then, yeah.
Oliver: There's just one thing. My car's at home. I just gotta run home and grab it real quick.
Hope: Okay, well, that's fine. I mean, you're just up the beach. We can walk there.
Oliver: Okay, cool. Let's go back to my place.
Hope: Yeah. (Sighs)
Bill: I thought Donna would never leave.
Katie: (Chuckles) You're the one who kept pouring wine.
Bill: Yeah, well, if she wasn't gonna leave, I wanted her to pass out.
Katie: You're terrible.
Bill: That's why you love me.
Bill: (Chuckles) (Sighs)
(Cell phone alert chimes)
Katie: Mm. (Scoffs) I hate your phone.
Katie: (Laughs) Mm, no, you should look at it. It could be Liam.
Bill: It was an e-mail.
Katie: Yeah, but nobody's heard from him. He could be in trouble.
Bill: If he was in trouble, he would e-mail me?
Katie: I don't know. Just look at it.
Katie: (Scoffs) Jarrett.
Bill: It's Jarrett, see? You know what? He sends me these stupid forwards. I'll kill him.
Liam: Marcus! Marcus! Excuse me. Sorry. Excuse me. Marcus! Hey.
Marcus: Hey, Liam, where you been, Man? What happened to you?
Liam: It's a long story. Where's Hope?
Marcus: I don't know. She's around here somewhere.
April: She was asking about you earlier.
Marcus: Yeah. Um, there's Madison over there.
Liam: Thanks. Thank you. Thanks.
Oliver: Got 'em. You ready to go?
Hope: (Sighs) Actually, could I have some water first?
Hope: Or, you know what? On second thought, do you have anything stronger?
Oliver: You're underage, Hope. If the press found out, it would be all over the tabloids. Stick to water. Trust me.
Hope: I cannot believe that Liam didn't show. (Sighs)
Oliver: I hate to say it, but I figured he wouldn't.
Oliver: He's a Spencer now. You told me how much he's been working. He's got other priorities.
Hope: Uh, but he-- he promised. He promised me he'd be there. I mean, why-- why would he tell me that? You know, he called me and said that he was getting a limo. Why would he say that if he was just gonna blow me off?
Oliver: I don't know. I'm kind of glad he's a no-show, though.
Oliver: Everything happens for a reason, you know?
Madison: Finally. What happened to you?
Liam: I-I had the chauffer from hell. Is Hope pissed?
Madison: Not exactly, but she's pretty disappointed. Look, I-I haven't-- I haven't found her. Do you know where she is?
Thomas: Dude, she already left.
Madison: With Oliver.
Thomas: I think they went to his place.
Katie: No, I swear, Donna. You don't have to tip him. It's included. Yeah, I-I promise. (Sighs) If you think he's cute, give him your number. All right, hold on a second. I'll ask him.
Katie: What about Joe? Is he seeing anyone?
Bill: Yes. Lance.
Katie: Donna, don't give him your number. All right, I'll talk to you tomorrow. I love you. Good-bye. Good-bye. Good-bye.
Bill: Come here.
Bill: No more interruptions.
Liam: (Grunts) (Breathing heavily) I'm comin', Hope. Don't give up on me.
Hope: I thought you were gonna take me home.
Oliver: Do you want me to?
Hope: I don't know.
Oliver: I'm not taking you home. Tonight was supposed to be your big night, the party you were looking forward to, celebrating your success with all the people that care about you. Nobody cares about you more than I do, certainly not Liam. I mean, that's evident. Tonight didn't go as planned. But it could be so much better. Spend the night with me.
Liam: (Breathing heavily)
Hope: You told me you would never give up on me.
Oliver: Did you doubt me?
Hope: Not for a second.
Oliver: Feel my heart? Look in my eyes.
Oliver: I love you with all my heart. You know I do. I don't need to say it. Let me show it to you. I want to make love to you tonight. I was your first love. (Chuckles) I want to be your first lover... tonight.
