Ridge: Latte, my dear.

Brooke: Oh, wow, thank you.

Ridge: I finally was able to learn how to use that machine.

Brooke: (Sighs) Ridge, I love you so much.

Ridge: Wow, it's just coffee.

Brooke: I know, but... (Chuckles) After last night, I... I don't know what I would do if you weren't able to forgive me.

Ridge: Logan, I'm gonna love you till the day I die, but I may not always be able to forgive you.

Brooke: I won't give you any reason to. I promise.

Ridge: I was thinking maybe it might be best if you work from home for a few days.

Brooke: No, that won't be good. Then they'll gossip all the more. I mean, we need to continue business as usual. Then they'll see that the kiss was what it was meant to be-- just a publicity stunt.

Ridge: Hope you're right.

Brooke: I know I am. In fact, I am on my way to go see your mother and convince her of the same thing.

Ridge: Wait a minute. You sure you want to tangle with the beast?

Brooke: Yes, I do. I-I just don't want any problems between us. We've come too far.

Ridge: All right. Good luck.

Brooke: Thank you. Oh, thanks for the coffee.

Ridge: Sure.

Ridge: (Sighs)

Taylor: Disgusting! (Sighs) (Scoffs)

Whip: Sweetheart, look, I know you're upset, but Thomas kissed Brooke to cause a stir, okay? It wasn't some sort of grand scheme on her part. I wish you would stop worrying about this.

Taylor: I try to look the other way at the things that Brooke does. I pretend it doesn't happen, but this is my son. And I am not going to allow him to get caught up in another one of her webs.

(Telephones ring continually)

Madison: Hot stuff.

Thomas: Madison.

(Telephone ringing continues)

Madison: Sorry, I was just, um, staring... admiring, actually. Uh... (Laughs) Thorne said you had some notes for me.

Thomas: Oh, tell him ten more minutes. I need to see how the rest of these look, all right?

Madison: Thomas, they'll all look fabulous. No worries there.

Thomas: Brooke says I need to try on every single one of these. I might be inspired to make some changes, and looking at 'em, I definitely have some notes. (Sighs)

Madison: Well, Brooke knows her stuff all right.

Thomas: (Chuckles)

Madison: Especially how to kiss.

Oliver: (Sighs)

Amber: (Sighs) (Sighs) Oh, its morning already?

Oliver: Yep.

Amber: Wow. Yeah, feels like we, uh, just-- just went to sleep.

Oliver: Kind of just did. (Chuckles)

Amber: (Chuckles) Yeah, true. (Sighs)

Oliver: (Sighs) It was fun, uh...

Amber: (Sighs) Yeah. Hope you don't have any regrets. Mm, I said the "H" word. Sorry. (Chuckles)

Oliver: No, no regrets. It was great.

Amber: Yeah, anyway, um, thank you for letting me stay. And I'm really glad that you believe me about why I stole those designs.

Oliver: You want some breakfast?

Amber: Yeah. Yeah. Breakfast--breakfast sounds, um, great. But you--you know, you don't really have to if you don't want to. If you'd rather me go, you could--you can just tell me. I know you're thinkin' about Hope, so...

(Knock on door)

Taylor: Ridge, hi. I'm--I'm so glad to see you. I-I need to talk to you.

Ridge: I know. Whip called me and asked me to stop by.

Taylor: You did?

Whip: Mm-hmm.

Taylor: Why?

Whip: Well, after everything that happened at the premiere, I, uh, thought Ridge might be able to help get you past everything, since I'm not doing a very good job.

Ridge: I'll do my best.

Whip: (Whispers) I'll be downstairs.

Taylor: Okay.

Taylor: (Sighs)

Stephanie: So what is all this fussing about?

Bridget: I really wish that you would just listen to me, Stephanie. I am a doctor.

Stephanie: Ex-doctor.

(Knock on door)

Brooke: May I come in?

Bridget: Mom, hi.

Brooke: Hi, Honey.

Stephanie: Oh, Brooke, hi. (Chuckles) Kissed anybody appropriate today?

Brooke: Uh, Stephanie, uh, I need to speak with you in private. There's something I would like to talk to you about.

Oliver: I am not thinking about Hope.

Amber: It's okay if you are. I totally understand.

Oliver: And I don't want you to leave.

Amber: Good, 'cause I don't really have anywhere else to go. So, you know, um, I don't have any expectations. I'm just lookin' for a friend... (Sighs) Or maybe a place to hang out for as long as you'll have me. You give me that, and I... will be whatever you like.

Madison: You look so good in this color.

Thomas: (Chuckles)

Madison: (Chuckles) It matches your eyes.

Thomas: Thank you.

Madison: Uh-huh.

Marcus: (Clears throat)

Madison: Oh.

Thomas: Oh. Good luck with the line.

Madison: Hey, Marcus.

Marcus: Hey, Madison. Dude, what was that?

Thomas: What?

Marcus: What? What do you mean, what? When did you start hangin' out with Madison?

Thomas: You saw that, huh?

Marcus: Uh-huh.

Thomas: That's Madison being Madison.

Marcus: Madison being Madison?

Thomas: Yeah, Madison being Madison.

Marcus: Right.

Thomas: (Chuckles)

Marcus: Anyway, you, um, thanks for letting me model the men's line the other day. That was real cool.

Thomas: Yeah, Man, no problem.

Marcus: I mean, I gotta... (Chuckles) I gotta admit, Thomas, you, uh, you like livin' on the edge, Bro. I mean, me personally, I really don't have the guts to do anything like that.

Thomas: Marcus, I knew you'd be great.

Marcus: No, I meant you kissing my Auntie Brooke.

Thomas: I like to live dangerously.

Marcus: Well, I know your dad wasn't too thrilled, but, hey, that kiss-- that really did make a difference. Dude, we got orders pilin' in for the whole line, and we didn't even show that many suits at the preview.

Thomas: (Sighs) People want to wear my name 'cause they finally know it.

Marcus: Mm, it's the kiss. That made the difference.

Thomas: (Chuckles)

Taylor: (Sighs)

Ridge: Whip's concerned about you.

Taylor: I know, but he just doesn't get it, you know? He just tells me not to worry about it, that everybody knows it's a publicity stunt, and it'll all blow over, and everybody will forget about it. I can just imagine my patients sitting out in the waiting room talking about how crazy my whole family must be. Really, I mean, my son kissing my worst enemy? It's embarrassing.

Ridge: I know. I know, and I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Look, I was as upset about that kiss as you were.

Taylor: (Sniffles)

Ridge: It was totally inappropriate. And I'm worried that Thomas didn't understand that.

Taylor: Well, what about Brooke?

Ridge: Brooke, too. But was it worth it?

Taylor: It wasn't worth it.

Ridge: Agreed. (Sighs) But Brooke is not trying to harm our son. There's nothing malicious going on here.

Taylor: I don't care. I don't care. I just--I just-- I want her to leave him alone. I just want this to stop.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Stephanie: Look, if you've come over here to ask me if I know where Ridge slept last night, uh, I don't have any idea.

Brooke: He was with me.

Stephanie: Bully for you.

Brooke: We had a very serious discussion, and we decided to put everything behind us.

Stephanie: My doctor, your daughter, told me that I needed to get some rest, so...

Brooke: I am here to ask you to do the same.

Stephanie: No.

Brooke: Stephanie, think about everything that has happened these past few weeks. Our lives have changed. Neither of us are ever going to be the same. Let's not go back to where we were. Please don't become that person again, the person that had that simplistic view of me. Ridge is going to support me, and I need your support, too.

Amber: Best pancakes ever.

Oliver: Uh, yeah. Do you want some more?

Amber: No. No, thanks. I'm absolutely stuffed. (Sighs) You really know how to take care of a girl. Hey... thanks for forgiving me. You really are amazing.

Stephanie: You want me to support you? In what, your quest to humiliate my family?

Brooke: Really? After everything we've been through, that's where we are now?

Stephanie: Really, that's exactly where we are. You know, I realized...

Brooke: (Scoffs)

Stephanie: I could have done some good with my time. Instead, what have I done? I've been trying to chase you away from my family. I have had I--how many countless nights, sleepless nights, wondering who in the hell you were gonna seduce next. I mean, my whole focus all these years has been trying to get rid of you. My God. How pointless has that been? I thought... I thought we had taken a better turn. I thought that you and I were really gonna be able to do something wonderful together for other people. And what do you do? You lip-lock my grandson. I mean, gee, Brooke.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Stephanie: You really think I'm gonna support you?

Ridge: You know... (Sighs) You can call me. You don't have to wait for you husband to call me behind your back to get me to come over to talk to you.

Taylor: Well, I didn't mean to imply earlier that he doesn't understand me, you know.

Ridge: Well, how could he? He's only been married to you once. I'm eons ahead of him.

Taylor: (Chuckles) No, he understands that our life together was very special to me and our family, and he knows that I'll always love you.

Ridge: I'll always love you, too.

Taylor: I haven't heard you say that in so long.

Ridge: Yeah, after all these years, isn't it understood?

Taylor: Well, I'm glad you admitted it-- that I was right what would happen if those two worked together.

Ridge: Well, maybe I should listen to you more.

Taylor: Maybe if you had listened, we'd still be married.

Brooke: I have grown, and I'm sorry that you can't see that.

Stephanie: Just keep telling yourself that. (Sighs)

Brooke: There will be no more indiscretions.

Stephanie: Oh, sure.

Brooke: No, it's true. I promised Ridge.

Stephanie: And I bet you're gonna keep that promise, just like all the promises you've kept over the years. I am sure he forgave you.

Brooke: Yes, he did.

Stephanie: My guess-- it wasn't exactly unconditional, though.

Brooke: Maybe not.

Stephanie: No more indiscretions.

Brooke: Right. That's what I said-- no more indiscretions.

Stephanie: Start packin', Kid. You're not capable of that.

Brooke: I came here today as your friend, as your daughter-in-law, because I respect your opinion, and I wanted to get you to understand. I had to finesse a very awkward, very strange situation that Thomas had put me in.

Stephanie: Because you allowed him to place you in that situation.

Brooke: Well, what-- (Scoffs) Stephanie, what was I supposed to do?

Stephanie: You should have stopped it. Honey, it's too late now. The barn's on fire. The chickens and the cows are runnin' around.

Brooke: Oh, Stephanie.

Stephanie: No, you should have been the responsible adult.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Stephanie: Why didn't you slap him?

Brooke: Well, I'm sure that's what you would have done.

Stephanie: Well, of course I would have, because it would have turned the whole situation around. What went on was just inappropriate, unacceptable. You know, you get into this kind of trouble when you let something like this happen with men all the time. This is just the beginning of this situation. This trouble is just beginning. You'd better stay away from... you'd better stay away from my grandson.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Taylor: I didn't mean that exactly quite like it sounded. I mean, the last thing either one of us would need to--is to still be married. (Chuckles)

Ridge: I will always cherish the years we spent together.

Taylor: Me, too. I-I think we had really more good times than bad, right?

Ridge: Never had to warn you that there couldn't be any more scandals.

Taylor: That's because Brooke can't avoid scandal. That's all she's about. You know that. You know that she can't. It-- I just don't want her-- her next one to involve our son.

Ridge: Taylor, nothing is gonna happen. It's over. Thomas is safe.

[Thomas remembering]

Taylor: I don't want you two working together. Brooke is trouble, Thomas. She is nothing but trouble. I'm telling you, Brooke is a predator. She is serial seductress. No man is safe.

Thomas: (Sighs)

Taylor: No man is safe. (Echoing) No man... no man... no man... she is a serial seductress. You have to be... (Echoing) Have to be... have to be... no man is safe. She is a serial seductress. She is nothing but trouble.

Brooke: (Giggles)

Taylor: No man is safe. You have to be...

Brooke: (Giggles) Oh... (Sighs) Good, you're here.

Thomas: Yeah.

Brooke: Suit 2a, all finished, fresh from the sewers.

Thomas: Great.

(Locks door)

Brooke: Why did you do that?

Thomas: Privacy. I'm gonna try on some suits. I'm gonna lock the door.

Brooke: Right. Good. Yes. I want to see them on you. Thomas, what's going on? Do you want to talk about it?

Thomas: What?

Brooke: The kiss.

Thomas: (Sighs)

Brooke: You've been thinking about it. So have I.

Thomas: Our kiss that captivated the world.

Brooke: Yes, it did, but it's never going to happen again.

Thomas: Yes, it will, Brooke. That kiss-- it's gonna happen again and again, whether you like it or not.

Brooke: Thomas! Control yourself.

Thomas: I can't, Brooke. It's beyond my control. It--it's bigger than either of us. Something happened when I kissed you, something that, try as we might... nothing can stop. My life has been changed forever, Brooke.
