Ridge: So it's just the two of us all alone in this big old house?

Brooke: Mm-hmm.

Ridge: Something's on your mind.

Brooke: No. No.

Ridge: Yes. I can tell. What is it?

Brooke: I am Ridge's wife!

Taylor: Well, it didn't stop you when it came to Hope's boyfriend, did it?

Brooke: (Gasps)

Ridge: Don't try to hold anything back...

Brooke: (Sighs)

Ridge: Because I'll get it out of you. I always do.

(Indistinct conversations)

Bill: I don't know what that conversation's about, but you might want to go out there and make sure he's not crossing the line with your girl.

Liam: (Laughs) What? What, you want me to go get in his face?

Bill: I'm just saying you might want to set him straight. That's all.

Hope: Look, maybe it's none of my business, but I-I just...

Oliver: You think I should steer clear of Amber? (Laughs)

Hope: I'll say it again. She's trouble.

Oliver: Well, I don't think Liam's good for you either.

Hope: Why not?

Oliver: Well, for starters, he's Bill Spencer's son, who's a major jerk, not to mention an egomaniac. Who's to say that's not gonna rub off on him, and he becomes just like him?

Hope: (Scoffs)

Oliver: I don't want that for you.

Amber: (Sighs) Pay dirt. Nick wants more hot designs. He's gonna get more hot designs. (Sighs) Oh, boy.

(Zipper closes)

Amber: (Sighs) (Chuckles)

Bill: Going out there?

Liam: No, 'cause I trust Hope.

Bill: It's got nothing to do with trusting Hope. "Romeo" may be crossing the line.

Bill: Dad, I'm not gonna go all Neanderthal on the guy, all right?

Man: It's pronounced "nee-and-er-tal."

Bill: Good to know.

Liam: Look, Dad, all I'm sayin' I-is that I appreciate--

Bill: All I'm saying is you're sitting here, so you don't know what that conversation is about out there. Now if he's being disrespectful, you need to go set him straight.

Liam: Hey, Hope can take care of herself. I mean, if he's out of line, she'll set him straight. Trust me.

Bill: (Sighs)

Oliver: Sorry about that.

Hope: It's okay.

Oliver: Is it?

Hope: Just because we're not together anymore doesn't mean I don't still care about you.

Oliver: But you're dating somebody else.

Hope: Yeah, I am. But I don't want to lose you either. I mean, you were my best friend.

Oliver: I don't want to be your best friend. I want to be your boyfriend.

Hope: You don't have those feelings for Amber?

Oliver: She's fun to be with, sexy, but... (sighs) you know what? Don't worry about me, all right? I won't get in over my head.

Amber: Uh, hey, Brendan. Can I get another round of kamikazes?

Brendan: Absolutely.

Amber: Oh, make 'em doubles, too. Doubles.

Ridge: So what happened to my Logan? I come home after a hard, long day wanting to relax...

Brooke: I did something. I'm sorry. I just...couldn’t help myself, l I-I kind of lost it and...

Ridge: And what?

Brooke: (Sighs)

Ridge: What happened?

Brooke: Your ex-wife...I slapped her.

Ridge: You slapped Taylor?

Brooke: I know. I-I-I didn't-- I shouldn't have, okay? I really didn't mean to.

Ridge: You accidentally slapped her?

Brooke: (Sighs) She had it coming. (Sighs) You know, Ridge, I'm not the one who started it. She was watching us, me and Thomas, in the office, and then she barged in, and she said, "get your filthy hands off my son."

Ridge: Did you have your filthy hands on him?

Brooke: (Sighs) I feel bad. I really do. But she is so unreasonable. I mean, you'd think she never did anything wrong in her life-- the little, sweet "Miss Perfect Taylor." But, you know, I do remember that she did go out with my son, and they were pretty serious. Maybe that's why she thinks I can't work with Thomas without seducing him.

Woman: Hey, I saw the way that guy was talking to you.

Hope: Oh, yeah, it's, um, it's complicated. (Chuckles)

Woman: Well, a word of advice-- nobody gets between me and my man.

Hope: (Laughs)

Bill: I still say you should go take care of business.

Liam: (Bangs table) Dad, I'm not doing that, okay? So can you please just drop it?

Hope: Okay, I am back. Sorry. Uh, what'd I miss?

Liam: Oh, well, "Chuck Norris" here wanted me to go outside and give Oliver a piece of my mind.

Bill: I just thought Liam should make sure Oliver wasn't behaving inappropriately.

Liam: (Laughs)

Hope: Okay, well, even if Oliver had tried something, it wouldn't have mattered. I'm with Liam now.

Oliver: Sorry for leaving you like that.

Amber: No worries. So, um, how'd it go with Hope? Aw.  (Chuckles) Good boy.

Bill: So, Liam, I was thinking. How about you start training with me doing some M.M.A.?

Hope: Hmm.

Liam: Mixed martial arts?

Bill: Yeah, it's great. Builds strength and endurance. Listen, you're a Spencer now, so you'll have a target on your back. It's not a bad idea to know how to defend yourself.

Liam: Yeah, I could do that.

Bill: Excellent.

Katie: Great.

Bill: Glad to hear it.

Katie: Great, well, you know, since we're talking about all this family bonding, maybe we should take a family trip together.

Liam: Really? What do you have in mind?

Bill: All right, look, uh, if we're actually going to do that, then let's make it an adventure vacation. Maybe go, uh, motocross racing in Mexico. How about that?

Katie: Mexico.

Hope: Uh, motocross racing.

Liam: (Chuckles) Uh...

Hope: That sounds dangerous. (Chuckles)

Katie: Maybe we should just keep it a little closer to home.

Bill: Closer to home?

Amber: Cheers! (Laughs)

Bill: All right, uh, paintballing.

Katie: Ooh, that's fun.

Bill: Yeah, it is fun. You get to hunt down your prey, unload those paintballs, get out your aggression.

Katie: (Chuckles)

Liam: I don't have any aggression.

Bill: Well, we're gonna get you some.

Katie: (Laughs)

Bill: What do you think H-- Hope, you with us?

Hope: Yes. What?

Bill: What's going on? You seem a little distracted.

Amber: (Laughs)

Oliver: (Laughs)

Amber: You still haven't told me what you and Hope talked about.

Oliver: Uh...

Amber: (Laughs) Ooh.

Oliver: (Imitates explosion)

Amber: Let me guess. She said I'm trouble, hmm?

Oliver: Uh...

Amber: (Chuckles)

Oliver: Let's get out of here.

Amber: Okay, but let me drive, 'cause you're a little tipsy. Oh, don't forget your bag. Your bag. Come on. (Laughs)

Ridge: Did she really do that? She said you're trying to seduce Thomas?

Brooke: In so many words, yes. It's ridiculous.

Ridge: Boy, this is really gettin' out of control here.

Brooke: I know. I know, and I'm sorry, but she was really pushing my buttons. And then she threw it in my face again about how I seduced my daughter's boyfriend, and I just lost it, Ridge. I-I-I couldn't help myself. I just slapped her. And I know-- I know it was so childish. I shouldn't let Taylor control me like that. But I did. She was just making me so ang--who-- who are you calling?

(Touch-tones beeping)

Ridge: I'm calling Taylor.

Brooke: What? No. Give me that.

Ridge: Unh-unh.

Brooke: Why?

Ridge: So you can apologize.

Brooke: (Scoffs)

Bill: Well, if I have to take care of it, what do I pay you for? Just get it done. Jeez. (Sighs) Where were we?

Katie: Uh, Hope, are you okay?

Hope: Yeah, you know what? It's just Oliver. I'm just kind of worried that Amber's going to take advantage of him somehow. I don't know.

Bill: And that's a problem why? He needs to get his mind off you, and I still think you should have gone over there and lit him up.

Hope: Okay, just stop. Just stop. Stop. Liam doesn't need to get in anyone's face or light somebody up, okay? I can handle myself, thank you very much. And I-I'm sorry. And motocross racing and self-defense? Liam doesn't need any of that to prove that he's a man. He is a man just the way he is, and, frankly, I find him sexy as hell, okay? But you know what? I understand why someone like you would need self-defense, because you are constantly offending people. Thank you so much for dinner.

Liam: (Laughs)

Bill: Spunky, huh?

Katie: Mm.

Bill: Maybe she's my kid.

Katie: (Laughs)

Oliver: Make yourself at home. I'll make us a drink.

Amber: (Laughs)

Oliver: (Chuckles) Owen had this place before me. He left these unopened.

Amber: (Chuckles) Wow, let's see. What do you have here? You have, um, tequila and tequila. I think I'll have... a tequila.

Oliver: Whoo.

Amber: (Chuckles) (Laughs)

Oliver: (Laughs)

Amber: Cheers.

Oliver: Boom.

Amber: (Laughs)

Oliver: (Laughs)

Amber: One more time.

Oliver: (Chuckles)

Amber: (Laughs) You seem a little woozy.

Oliver: I'm a little bit tipsy.

Amber: (Laughs) Okay.

Oliver: No biggie.

Amber: You sure you're okay? Huh? Can't be easy seeing your ex-girlfriend all lovey-dovey with her new squeeze.

Oliver: (Groans) Let's not talk about Hope. Let's talk about you.

Amber: (Chuckles)

Oliver: (Laughs)

Amber: 'Cause you're just dying to hear the Amber Moore story.

Oliver: I am.

Amber: Okay. Not that I've always done things that I'm proud of, but... it's a dog-eat-dog world out there. And if a girl wants to make it on her own, then she's just gotta make things happen, whatever it takes. I have had to scratch and claw...

Oliver: (Snarls) (chuckles)

Amber: (Chuckles) My way through life, especially when it comes to love. In fact, I've got the scars to prove it.

Oliver: Scars? I don't see no scars.

Amber: Look a little closer. Come here. A little closer.

Oliver: Oh, I see one. (Chuckles)

Amber: You see one, and you want to kiss it and make it better? Yeah? (Laughs)

Brooke: You want me to apologize to Taylor?

Ridge: You did slap her. (Laughs)

Brooke: Ridge, this isn't funny.

Ridge: You two. I married both of you. I love both of you and care about both of you.

Brooke: Yes, and you're always caught in the middle.

Ridge: Well, I guess that's just my fate.

Brooke: (Sighs) Just tell her to back off, please.

Ridge: After you apologize.

Brooke: No, no, no, no. I don't want to do that.

Ridge: Taylor, it's Ridge.

Brooke: (Sighs)

Ridge: Let me put you on the speaker here, because Brooke has something she wants to say to you.

Brooke: It was really uncalled for the things that you said to me today, Taylor.

Taylor: Do you know what she did to me, Ridge?

Ridge: Yes, she told me.

Taylor: Well, I don't want her working with our son. I-I can't stand it. Y-you should have seen her. She had her hands all over him.

Brooke: I was adjusting his suit, which you know very well, Taylor, 'cause you were spying from the doorway.

Ridge: Ladies. Ladies. Come on here. Brooke, is there something you'd like to say to Taylor?

Brooke: (Whispers) No. There isn't.

Ridge: (Mouthing words)

Brooke: (Quietly) Sorry.

Taylor: What? I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you.

Brooke: (Sighs) (normal voice) I said, I'm sorry.

Taylor: For?

Brooke: For slapping you. There. I said it. Can we just hang up now?

Ridge: Ladies. Ladies. Let's not be childish here. Let's get past this and move on. Can we do that?

Taylor: (Sighs)

Ridge: Taylor?

Taylor: No, I'm fine with that, Ridge. I'm completely fine with it. But I'm just asking you to please keep an eye on her when she's with our son.

Brooke: All I want for your son is his happiness and his success. So please let's not turn this into something else.

Ridge: Okay. Good job, ladies, both of you. I think that went rather well, don't you? Say good-bye.

Taylor: Good-bye, Brooke.

Brooke: Good-bye, Taylor. Have a lovely evening.

(Touch-tone beeps)

Brooke: (Sighs) I know I intend to.

Amber: (Laughs) Hold on. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Slow down, boy. Listen, uh, you're a sweetheart of a kid, who's, uh, luggin' around a broken heart. (Sighs)

Oliver: You don't want to take advantage of this?

Amber: (Chuckles) I'm all about takin' advantage. (Chuckles) Um...

Oliver: A woman with no scruples. Works for me. (Laughs)

Amber: (Chuckles) Look, I've been where you are, Ollie. I know. You, uh, you think you have this fairy-tale romance only to watch it slip through your fingers.

Oliver: (Blows raspberry)

Amber: That's why people are telling you to steer clear of me.

Oliver: (Slurring) Know what? I don't care. I don't care about your past. I don't care if you do use me.

Amber: (Chuckles) Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait. I can't. I can't. I can't do this.

Oliver: Why not?

Amber: Because it'll end in disaster.

Oliver: How do you know that?

Amber: Because I just do. Plus, um, you've had, uh, a bit to drink.

Oliver: (Blows raspberry)

Amber: Things might look a lot different in the morning.

(Cell phone rings)

Amber: (Sighs)

(Rings)

Amber: (Sighs)

Amber: Hey, Nick.

Oliver: (Blows into bottle)

Amber: Yeah, I'm workin' on it.

Oliver: (Purses lips)

Amber: Right now. No, I-I know what you want. (Scoffs) I'll make it happen. Yeah. Not to worry, boss. It's in the bag.  Ollie? Ollie? Ollie? (Sighs)  Let's do this. Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.

(Camera shutter clicks)

(Clicks)

(Clicks)

Amber: Thank you, Ollie. (Sighs) My life just got so much easier. Perfect. (Sighs) (Whispers) Sleep tight.
