Hope: (Sighs) You keep-- you keep saying that, like there is a way out of this, Oliver, but I don't see how.
Oliver: It's still too raw. Maybe I'm rushing you, but, I'm--I'm afraid if we don't keep trying, I'm gonna lose you. I can't let that happen.
Hope: I know. I know. And I want to move forward. I do, but I... I can’t. Do you understand that? I mean, are you hearing me? It is there between us now, and don't know how to make it go away.
Taylor: Your daughter is in serious danger, Brooke.
Brooke: Yes, from the three of you, especially you, Stephanie.
Stephanie: (Scoffs) I didn't have sex with her boyfriend.
Taylor: Look, we know that Hope is a strong woman. That's what we admire about her. But nobody is invincible. There is a limit to what people can take. You can't just assume that she is just going to get over this in time somehow on her own.
Brooke: I offered to get her help. She doesn't want it.
Steffy: Brooke, not from you. (Scoffs) Jeez. All right. Look, I know that you and my dad think that I just dragged this out in the open, but it wasn't me. I feel terrible for Hope, all right?
Brooke: No, you don’t. You wanted to get her out of the company. In fact, you were probably jumping for joy when you found out what happened between Oliver and me, even though it was a mistake
Taylor: Oh, please. Oh, my gosh.
Stephanie: Would you stop that? "Mistake, mistake. Accident, accident."
Taylor: Wow. That’s...
Stephanie: That happened because that's just the way you live your life. Here you are in a house full of teenagers, and who can't control her hormones? You! Some chaperone. You conducted yourself that night the same way that you conducted yourself when you walked into this house for the very first time all those years ago. Nothing has changed. And no one is immune from the damage that you wreak in their lives, not even your own daughters. You've taken from them something fabulous and wonderful-- both of them, the same way you took from me and from Taylor. If you can't see that what happened that night isn't going to change your daughter's life, then I don't know what the hell is in your head.
Ridge: How did you get this number? No. No comment. (Groans) Come on, Logan, you should be back by now.
Stephanie: You Logans always blame everyone else for your problem well, this time, you're going to have to face the destruction that you've caused.
Brooke: "You Logans"? That's what it always comes back to, Stephanie-- my family.
Stephanie: That's because you're all alike-- fakers and users.
Brooke: Oh, God, I don't need to listen to this crap.
Taylor: No, you do need to listen to this, because you need to take responsibility for a change. You can't look the other way this time. You can't just pretend that you're innocent, unless you want your daughter to pay the price.
Brooke: My daughter is in the guesthouse unpacking her bags and berating herself because she just can figure out how to pick herself up and get on with her life. You are not doing this to help her, Stephanie. You're doing this to destroy my relationship with my daughter. This is your lifelong quest of ruining me and my family. (Sighs) And don't you dare lecture me about my daughter. I love her, and I'm gonna do everything I possibly can to see her through this. She is my daughter, Taylor, and I am going to help her.
Oliver: There's nothing I can say here. So all I can do is listen. So I'm listening, okay? Talk to me.
Hope: I don't know what to say.
Oliver: Okay, then maybe we don't say anything.
Hope: That won't help. It won’t. I’m sorry. I really--I wish it could, but it-- it only makes things worse. Every time that you touch me or we kiss, I just-- I get these images flashing through my head. The thing is, it's as good as being with you used to feel, that's how bad it hurts now.
Stephanie: I know. I know, Eric. Why do you think I sent you down to the office alone? Okay, I'll talk to you later.
Steffy: Chaos at the office?
Stephanie: He said the media is driving him crazy. I guess the only way that you or I could go into work would be parachutes.
Taylor: So how did Hope sound, though, when you called her?
Stephanie: Taylor, she's-- she's right where she needs to be for the time being.
Steffy: Just leave it to Brooke to turn everything around on us. Her kids are in pain, and somehow we're the bad guys, not her, not the one who made this mess.
Taylor: No, because she's deluding herself like she always does. She's thinks just because one daughter forgave her for betraying her that this one will, too. But that's yet to be seen.
Stephanie: Well, I think it's safe to say she's gone too far this time.
Brooke: (Sighs) (Sighs)
Ridge: Reporters still chasing after you?
Brooke: (Groans) They'll get tired of it sometime.
Brooke: So what's all this about. (sighs)
Ridge: Hopefully just what you need.
Brooke: How did you know?
Ridge: It's one of my superpowers.
Brooke: (Chuckles) Is there any way you can wrap me in your arms and fly me far, far away?
Ridge: Oh. Where do you want to go?
Brooke: Hmm. Far away... (sighs) from your mother and Taylor.
Ridge: (Sighs) I thought you we to see Hope.
Brooke: Yeah, I tried. (Sighs)
Ridge: She's not coming home?
Brooke: No, not yet. But I'm not giving up until she does.
Ridge: If she's resistant, pushing too hard might do more harm than good, you know.
Brooke: Well, she's vulnerable, Ridge. We can't just leave her there.
Ridge: You talking about my mother?
Brooke: Oh, I'm just really worried about Hope. Everything that's-- that happened, everything I've done to her-- I mean, she's just not really equipped to handle this.
Ridge: Nobody's equipped to handle this, Logan.
Brooke: But you forgave me.
Ridge: I'm not an 18-year-old kid anymore. I have a lifetime of mistakes, my mistakes, to look back on. I can see what happened at Hope's party for what it is. Hope just sees only what it's done to her.
Ridge: I'm sorry, Logan, but there's nothing anyone can do or say to change how awful this has made her feel.
Oliver: Just tell me what to do. I'll do it.
Hope: You need to leave.
Hope: Yes, you do. You need to get as far away from me and my family as possible. My family is poison. Everything that Steffy ever said about us is true.
Oliver: Hold on, okay?
Hope: No, things like this don't just happen to anyone, okay? But in my family, it is par for the course. You get involved with a Logan, and it's just a matter of time before something horrible happens.
Oliver: Don't talk about us like we're doomed.
Hope: What kind of relationship can we have now?
Oliver: Whatever kind we want. We just have to focus on that-- what's still good with us.
Hope: There is nothing left.
Oliver: I'm the same. I have--I haven't changed. You haven't changed. Uh, you--you said you still love me, right? I still love you. We're the same people we were before this happened.
Hope: No, we are a joke, Oliver. God, I mean, have you not looked at the internet? Did you not read tabloids? (Sighs) I go outside, and I see people pointing and laughing while reporters hound me for a story. God. I was so happy... and proud, too, you know? I was--I was representing this new generation with “Hope for the Future’ and all these high ideals, and now I am a mockery-- the daughter of a scandalous mother who... God, with my own boyfriend! Can you not see that this is killing me? (Sighs) There is nothing left for us now, Oliver. How can you say that things haven't changed? If we walked outside in public together right now, we would start a gossip feeding frenzy.
Oliver: Well, then-- then let's go away, all right? Uh, this doesn't have to ruin us. It's not gonna be easy. We have a lot to overcome, but we can do it. If not here, then let's leave. We'll run away, hole up somewhere while this whole thing blows over, just you and me. We'll--we'll ride out the storm together.
Hope: Run away?
Oliver: Anywhere. As far away from all this as we can get.
(Daddy Yankee’s "Pose" playing)
Oliver: Or we could stay here. You could come live at the beach house.
Hope: There is nowhere that we can go, Oliver.
Oliver: Stop saying no, okay? Please, let's try.
Hope: These feelings are going to come with me, okay? They are in me like a disease.
Over: Then let's find a cure.
Hope: It sounds good. Yeah, it makes sense. I mean, that's what people do in a crisis, right? They--they come together and look ahead.
Oliver: 'Cause that's what works. You move forward.
Hope: You keep saying that, like there is a solution out there, but there isn’t. What happened happened. Okay? And--and no matter where we go or what we do, that hasn't changed, okay? It happened, and can't just forget it. (Sighs) I can't erase it out of my mind. You and my mother... it can't be undone. I'--I've tried moving on with my life, you know? But it's--it's just not working.
Oliver: If we do it together, it might.
Oliver: We haven't tried hard enough, okay? We've--we've barely seen each other. (Echoing) Look at me Hope. Look--look at--look at this necklace around my neck. I haven't taken it off because I still believe in us.
Hope: Um, the...
Oliver: What are you doing?
Hope: Just--just stay here, okay?
Oliver: Where are you going?
He: Up to the main house. Look, just--just wait here, okay? Give me a few minus, and then come meet me there.
Oliver: I don't know what's going on with you.
Hope: Oliver, please. Just do this for me. I will call you when it's time, okay?
Steffy: Is always better for the truth to come out.
Stephanie: I don't know. Hope might disagree with that.
Steffy: Well, at least she'll be able to handle it and deal with it. You know, maybe Oliver and Hope can save their relationship. Or maybe she'll go to Boston like she planned, get away from the scandal and all that stuff that she has to deal with.
(Front door opens)
Stephanie: Hope. Are you all right?
Hope: Um, I need the room.
Steffy: W-w-where's Oliver?
Hope: L-look, I don't have much time. I really--I need you to go now.
Stephanie: I'm sorry. I don't think I quite understa--
Taylor: Hope, are you okay? Um, do you need me to help you with anything?
Hope: Um, what I-I really need right now is to be alone, and Stephanie, I'm so sorry. I know that I have no right to kick you out of your own living room, but I just-- I have this idea, you know? And--and I have to try. I mean, I thought I couldn't get over it, but maybe I can. I... I need the room. Um...
Stephanie: All right. Okay.
Taylor: Yeah, I'll go.
Taylor: We--we have stuff we can take care of upstairs.
Steffy: (Sigh) Oh, yeah, I gotta take off. I have that thing that I gotta do.
Hope: Okay. Okay.
Stephanie: If there's anything you need, um, well, we'll-- we'll be upstairs.
(Daddy Yankee's "Gasolina" playing)
Stephanie: What do you think is going on with Hope?
Taylor: Well, Brooke came to see her and then Oliver, so I'm sure she's struggling with all the horrible memories of that night.
Stephanie: So she returns to the scene of the crime?
Taylor: Yeah, I guess it's like... (sighs) the way families leave wreaths at the site of a fatal accident, because now this site is significant where they suffered a loss.
Taylor: So maybe that's what Hope's doing. Maybe she just wants to find a way to make sense of the loss she had and commemorate it somehow.
Hope: Door's open. Come to the main house
Oliver: Hope, what's this all about?
(Phone hangs up)
Brooke: I just pray that Oliver can get through to her. (Sighs)
Ridge: Hope let him stay. That's positive at least.
Brooke: Yeah, but what if... (sighs) what if they can't really talk? What if she doesn't listen to what he has to say to her?
Ridge: That doesn't sound like Hope.
Brooke: No, but she's not the same. I mean, there's something broken inside of her.
Ridge: Look, this is just gonna take some time. Eventually, you two will find a way to sort this out.
Brooke: (Sighs) And what if we can't? Hmm?
Ridge: Then we'll help her.
Brooke: She's made it very clear that she doesn't want my help.
Ridge: A few days ago, she didn't even want to see Oliver. Now they're talking. Let's just see how this all pans out. I think eventually, they'll find a way to sort this out between them, and the world will look very different than it does right now.
Brooke: He was her first serious love. I mean, a girl's first love should be wonderful, you know, a great memory. But now it's tainted. It's splashed all over the internet and fashion press. And even if their relationship does survive this, when she looks back...I think Stephanie was right. (Sighs) I stole this moment from Hope. She's gonna look back, and she's gonna think of her graduation and think of her first love, and she's always going to have this memory with it. I mean, yes, maybe it won't be as painful. But it's not like she's ever going to be able to erase it. (Sighs) Oh, God. What have I done to my daughter?
(Daddy Yankee’s "Gasolina" playing)
Oliver: Hope? I'm here. Hope?
Hope: Welcome to my graduation party. Come on in. It's just getting started.
